This guide will show how to make the food in the rooms work for your needs
and tells you what to avoid online.
Anyways if you would like to tell me about a problem you might have with the
food combination or if one did not work for you, please contact me at my
E-mail address, which you can find in the contacts list.
This is strictly from the player's guide, which is not fully correct,
and any errors will be corrected as soon as possible.
FAQs came from a bunch of friends (and some of the people who contact me)
who I taught how to play and are only relevent to the food that is found
in online rooms.
Ok well here it is the food list, hopes it helps because if is doesn't,
tough luck, find something else that will...lol.
Why Did i do this guide? Well i realized thatmany people pnline didn't not
only know about the guest house, but very few people could tell me a good
food combination.
Table of Contents
(For all you idiots, this is the list of what is in this guide,
and i wouldn't put this here if i wouldn't have gotten an E-mail saying
"Whats a table of contants" no i did not misspell it, thats what he said...
I swear to you I sent him back a letter with the following words...
"Here's your sign") anyways...

I.----Food Types @(^_^)@
This is the information on the different types of food there are and some
examples of each. This will help later on in the food combination list.
First of all there are 7 food groups:
Meat, Vegetable, Fish, Grain, Oil, Milk, Liquor
Meat---in Pawn, Rook, and Bishop there are two different kinds of meat.
While in King and Queen there are four.Examples would be: Meat scraps,
Cubesteak, Meatwagon, etc.
Vegetable---in Pawn, Bishop, Queen, and King there are three different kinds
of Vegetables. Rook is only room with four. Examples would be: Ancorn, Rare
Onion, Fatty Tomato, etc.
Fish---Like with Vegetables, every room but rook has three different Fish,
Rook has two. Examples would be: Snake Salmon, Octofest, Queen Shrimp,
etc.
Grain---Rook, Bishop, and King all have two different grains, Queen has one
and Pawn has three. Examples would be: Hardtack, ouuuch, sweetbug, go figure,
Mixed Beans, last time i checked, beans was in the protein or "meat" group,
etc.
Oil---Pawn, Bishop, and Queen all have two oils, King and Rook have
one each. Examples would be: Seafood Jam, Oily raisins *thinks to himself
sarcastically* (wonder why thats considered an oil?), Fruity Jam, etc.
Milk---Pawn, Rook, Bishop all have two different milk groups, King and Queen
have one. Examples would be: Powdered Cheese, Sirloin egg, UHHHH...HELLO
CAN ANYONE SAY CHICKEN THE OTHER WHITE MEAT!?!?!?!, Royale Cheese, etc.
Liquor---There is one Liquor in every room. Examples would be: Milk pop,
obviously people never heard of the thing called the Food Pyramid, Hopi,
Spicepop, etc.

III.--The Rooms @(*_*)@
The "bed" is the place where you can save.
The "Ordering table" or "table" for short is the place where you order your
food.
The "box is just like the one in the armory, you can store and take items out.
The names of the rooms are like chess peices and are unlock as you go higher
in Hunter Rank (HR)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pawn Room: FREE all the time
You get this room right in the begining of your online play.
Description: Very small, bed to save on is on the right, bow is in the
top right cornor, and the Order table is down at the bottom.
Recomendation: This is for those with little money to spend and I rarely
ever use it.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rook Room: 200z a night
This is unlocked by completeing the Urgent quest "Slay The Gypceros!"
Description: Medium Sized Room, bed is to the left, box is on the right,
Ordering Table is just north of the box.
Recomendation: This is also for low-imcome or just plain broke people.
I used this room for a while when i was a low HR.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bishop Room: 500z a night
This is unlocked by completing the Urgent quest "SLay the Rathalos!"
Description: Large Room, bed is in the far back, there is a bear rug in
the middle of the room, to the left of the ENTRANCE/EXIT is the box,
slightly north of the box is the table.
Recomendation: THis is for Low or Medium Income Hunters I used this
room quite a lot up until HR 13.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Queen Room: 1000z A night
This is unlocked by completing the Urgent quest "A Giant Dragon Attacks!"
Description: Very Large Room, bed is to the right side and slightly south
is the box, the table is out on the balcony where you can hear a faint
bell tower ringing.
Recomendation: Even though its not as expensive or as big as King, Queen
is always going to be my favorite. You will see why in the Food Combo list.
I usually eat the Megabagel and Sirloin Egg Because it gives a Def and Atk
Boost.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
King Room: 2000z A night
This is Unlocked by completing the Urgent quest "Basarios: Unseen Peril"
Description: Largest room, Bed is well...you can't miss it, Box is
to right side of room in a little room by itself, all the way north is
a bench you can aimlessly sit on, Table is to the right of Bench, there
is also a cat near box room that will give weapon combination information
or random information.
Recomendation: Good food combo's and is very expensive too for all low
incomers so i wouldnt recomend this is the quest you do dont dive you
more than 2000 in rewards.

IV.---The Pigs and Cats @($_$)@
This Chapter explains the reason of the cats and pigs
The Cat...
Well what can I say? The trained ones are very helpful, but out in the wild
they can be they worst SOB's you can handle while trying to kill a wyvern.
The one in The Kings Room gives advice and when you order food, the cats
bring the menu to you then go to get your food. The Room your in depends
on how you are treated. You can see a difference between the Pawn Room
Service and the Queen Room Service. But no matter what room your in,
they always bring you your food and CHUNK it on the table.
The Pig...
A very important roll in carving, mining, etc. These guys raise your luck.
But there's a catch. You have got to make them happy. To do this, go over
to the pig and press X, you will hear the same music playing as you do when
you cook. When the music stops press X again as soon as you see an
Exclamation point pop over the hunter's head. Remember this Fair warning,
it is always better to hit X too early than too late, because if you hit
it too early you can do it again, you hit it too late and the pig will ramm
you and run off with no more chances to do it again.

VI.---Other Information you should know @(@_@)@
1. Stamina effects will wear off normally, for example lets say you eat Queen
Shrimp and Gold Rice and get Stamina +50, thats just as though you ate 2
Rations and will wear off with hunger.
2. Health, attack, and defense boost will only go away IF you die. If you can
manage to stay alive, it will still be there until you do,
3. When the cat brings you your menu, if you do not like what you see, press
circle to dissmis him and then oreder the food again until the food you want
shows on the menu.
4. Health Decreasements can be fixed by going to sleep in camp before you go
out to do whatever the quest requires.
5. Choose your food according to your Mission, lets say your doing powderstone,
choose a stanima increase or a health and stanima increase, if your doing a
capture quest, try using an attack or an attack and defense up to make the
mission quicker, and for slaying quest try to use a defense up sinece the
ones that need to be slayed attack more often than those in capture.

VII.--Food FAQs @(T_T)@
Q. Can I order more than one time?
A. No you can only order one time, even if you purchase a second room, you
can order only once so choose carefully.
Q. What Kind of food combination do you recomend?
A. I choose anything that matches with my quest, see chapter 4 question 5.
I usually eat Megabagel and Sirloin egg in Queen room, because of the attack
and defense boost it gives.
Q. I have 2000z, should i go to a payment room such as Queen or should i go to
pawn?
A. If I were that low on funds, i would go to pawn, since it does have some
decent status upgrades.
Q. If I order the wrong food how do i cancel it?
A. If you've already ordered it, you can't take it back, Bu tif you don't like
what you've ordered for your first or second ingrieient, press cicrle and it
will go away.
