1. Introduction
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
This is the database or bestiary of the Kingdom Hearts enemies. It will
contain information and strategies for every enemy. I hope this helps you.
Please do not use my FAQ on any site without my permission. I have a
copyright on this FAQ so don't copy my work. All the characters, symbols and
such in Kingdom Hearts are Square's and Disney's trademarks (belonging to the
respectful ones) and they have copyright over those. I am just writing a
database or collected amount of information on the enemies in the game.

2. Explanation
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Well, I know for a fact each enemy has a certain amount of HP, but I got
this information from the Walkthrough that I bought. So I cannot give you
their number HP. I can, however, give you my own explanation of the HP. For
example, I know that Sephiroth has 1,800 HP., since the guide told me. I also
took time to notice that it takes 6 bars (5 visible, 1 invisible) to kill
Sephiroth. Divide 1800 by 6 and you get 300. That's 300 HP a bar. So I could
give you a number HP now, but I'd rather just give you an estimate of how
many bars or how much of bar it takes to kill an enemy. Also, for example,
when I say 40%, I mean 40 percent or two fifths of a full bar. If you don't
understand math or percents, then I am sorry. I will also estimate, so
forgive me if I am wrong. Hopefully, this way, my info will be original and I
won't be biting off someone else's work. I will also describe the way they
look, their defense and power, the items they drop and strategies or notes.
The list is in alphabetical order.

-Strategies/Notes
He can be very hard if you are at a low level. Let me just say don't be
fooled to think that you are no hurting him, you are, just keep hitting.
First of all he cannot be harmed by anything with his back turned. Second of
all he has two modes: berserk mode and regular mode. In Berserk mode, he's
much stronger, faster and attacks more often. When he goes berserk, just
pummel him cause he will try to attack you more. Be careful of his fireballs.
He will also do a fire spin. To avoid this run the direction he is spinning
and make sure you stay close to him so it'll be easier. Sometimes when he is
berserk, you cannot dodge this. This attack can be very deadly; it can kill
your allies very quickly. Also he is invincible when he does the fire spin so
don't waste MP trying to hurt him. You should attack him most when he's
berserk or throwing fireballs with Ars Arcnum.

aren't devastating. Just attack him as you would any other boss. When he
turns golden, he is invincible. Lock on to a barrel and pick it up. Then lock
onto him and chug it to him. This is best done when he starts to taunt you,
but don't be discouraged to throw it, the barrels will reappear.

His body is made of large blocks of seemingly impregnable ice. But the ice
shaping his face is quite fragile. Naturally, he is weak against fire.
-Description
It's a giant Ice Titan! It has sharp body parts and is blue.
-Strategies/Notes
This is one of the most drawn out and longest fights in the game. For one,
you cannot reach him at all with anything. The only true way to hurt him is
to deflect his icicles at you. Do not, I repeat, do not cast Aero or you
won't be able to deflect his icicles. Your best chance is to run to a corner
on the stadium. From there, deflect the icicles. Keep trying; it's kind of
annoying because of the icicles coming out of the ground. Try to dodge them
but don't worry too much. Also jump and cast heal so you don't get hurt or
heal right when you get hurt. Once you hit him enough, he will fall.
Superglide to him and hit him as much as possible, cause you only have little
time. Now he will stand back up and have some new moves. Run very quickly
back to your corner. He will shoot out a barrage of icicles. This is the
perfect chance to deflect a lot of them back. Then he will blow Frost Breath
and you will be frozen. This hurts. To avoid it, run to a corner and it won't
touch you. He will also drop ice balls on you, just roll or run out the way.
This battle is very tedious and long. But repeat the process and keep
deflecting the icicles and you will win.

This battle is not hard at all if you know what to do. Lock on Iago and
attack him. Iago flies everywhere and usually Jafar can even harm you if you

-Description
It's a sixed arm giant robot that looks Persian or some sort.
-Strategies/Notes
This battle can be hard if you are not ready or leveled up. As soon as you
get into the battle, summon Tinker Bell. She will heal your party, and is
very useful, cause you magic will be disabled. Lock onto the orbs in its
hands, whack at those. Also it is very mobile so you may have to use
Superglide to chase or dodge it. Once they are destroyed, it will fall into
the sand. Attack the head until it regains conscious. No you can use magic,
but Zisa has a protective barrier around it now. Constantly cast Thundaga on
it to break it. Beware of its attacks though; just dodge them with tech roll.
Cast Aeroga too. Once the barrier is broken, he will fall again. Attack the
head once again. After it awakes, it will reinitiate his two orbs sequence
and repeat it all over again. So cast Tinker Bell before it locks you magic.
Repeat the strategy and you will win.

name. Since meeting the king, who has been so vigilant against the Heartless,
Leon has sought the truth behind the "key".
-Description
It's Squall, with longer hair. He looks a lot like his father.
-Strategies/Notes
The first time you fight Squall is easy; just attack him. His attacks aren't
too damaging. But at the tournament, you can tell he's been training, cause
he's pretty challenging the first time you challenge him there. Well Squall
never fights you alone, but if you are fighting Yuffie and him, kill Yuffie
first, since she has long range. If it's Cloud and him, kill him first since
he's the weaker one. Squall's first sequence is pretty easy. Just attack him
and guard his attacks. His second sequence when he powers up his gunblade and
it extends, he's very aggressive and stronger. He now has range on his side
and he's aggressive. So attack him and don't let him attack you or you will
suffer pain.

Maleficent became a huge dragon when the Keyblade released the darkness in
her heart. The dragon wielded both Maleficent's power and the terrible forces
of darkness.
-Description
She turns into a huge, black, and spiny backed dragon.
-Strategies/Notes
This battle can be tough one. Make sure you got Strike Raid and some ethers.
As long as you have MP, do not take this dragon on head on. First jump and
glide onto its back. Then run towards its neck and lock onto it. No use
Strike Raid and do the full move. After each Strike, the menu will say Raid
and it will light up, that's when you press X again. Keep doing this attack
combo and you take a chunk out of the HP. Once you run out of MP, use Ethers.
Once you run out of Ethers, unless an attack barrage on it. You will probably
fall off. Now you must try you lock head on. If you regain enough MP, hop
back on it and do Strike Raid. Ars Arcnum works well too. Also the Dragon can
knock you off somethings, but just glide back on. Remember that if you attack
it head on, you are vulnerable to very powerful attacks.

-Description
Looks like a phantom. He's very ghostlike and flies.
-Strategies/Notes
This battle is longer and annoying than any other. You cannot hurt Phantom
unless he lets you. Be sure to stock up on Ethers or Elixirs and have both MP
Rage equipped. First of all lock onto on of the Clock hands and cast stop on
it. If you do not, it will count down and an ally will be taken out of this
battle. You must constantly cast Stop on the hands every once and a while. Ok
to hurt the phantom, you must cast a spell or attack according to the color
of an orb that appears under his cape. When it is:

Red – Fire
Blue – Blizzard
Yellow – Thunder
White – Physical Attack

Remember to time your attacks. Since the Phantom flies, it's quite hard to
hit it. You will find that some attacks that the Phantom deals cannot be
evaded. You'll just have to take it and heal. After a very long battle, you
will win. Don't forget about the Clock Hands.

hurting him. Once you hit him enough, he will fall on his but. Hop onto its
knee and jump between the two heads and attack one. Use anything except

Once known as the greatest of swordsmen, his whereabouts have been unknown
for some time. He challenged Sora to a one-on-one duel. No one knows why he
has suddenly returned. Apparently, he and Cloud have crossed paths before.
-Description
This is none other than the most wicked and popular villain ever to grace
Square's games, Sephiroth. He comes back with his Masamune and this time with
one black wing.
-Strategies/Notes
Do not even attempt this guy if your not at least level 60. He is very
powerful; he can kill you in two swipes. You must have Second Chance, two MP
Rages, MP Haste, Strike Raid, and Ars Arcnum. You will need a lot of elixirs
if you are at a low level. If you are over level 80, you should only need a
couple of Hi-potions. Also Superglide is a plus.

Phase 1 – First, cast Aeroga. Jump and glide towards Sephiroth and attack
him. Be aware that he will teleport and counter after you hit him. You can
alternately Strike Raid him. Be aware that he will cast Flame Pillar (a very
powerful attack that has good range) if you get too close for too long. If he
gets that on you, do Ars Arcnum or Strike Raid ASAP.

Phase 2 - Once you take bout 2 bars off of him. He will taunt you for a
second and teleport. Then he will say Sin Harvest and unleash a Halo above
your head. You must hit him before he does this. Use Strike Raid or
Superglide to him. If you see a Halo above you, run away and use an Elixir as
soon as it hits. Now Sephiroth will be running, making it harder for you to
hit and easier for him to hit. You might want to keep using Strike Raid and
Elixirs for this. He may also use a limit very much like Omni-Slash. He is
invincible when he does. But you can be too, if you use Strike Raid as soon a
he hits you. Also be aware he will use Sin Harvest and his counter attack.

Phase 3 – This phase is thankfully a little easier. He will cast darkness
around him and summon Meteors around him. Cast Aeroga to help take damage and
wait until he summons his last Meteor. Just jump and glide to avoid that. Now
he will attack you will various slashes and dark balls. Just attack him with
Ars Arcnum and Strike Raid. Use Elixirs if you have too. Do not panic now or
you will lose the battle. Just keep using one of your special moves until he
is defeated.

She deceived Ariel and stole the trident to take over Atlantica. Using it
power, she became an enormous monster and battled Sora, Goofy and Donald.
-Description
This obese purple witch is very ugly, except this time, she is very large.
-Strategies/Notes
She's just bigger this time. Still, it's not as annoying as her last form.
Just whack her face away. She turns a lot, but don't get annoyed, just follow
her face. Cast Aero if you need to. Use Mermaid Kick to get away from
Ursula's vacuum mouth. When she starts using certain attacks like bubbles and
such, just use Mermaid Kick to get away. Fira and Blizzara works well too,
but don't get too trigger happy with those, cause physical attacks don't cost
MP.
