Hello, I am Mareusio, and welcome to my first FAQ!

This FAQ covers all the boss/exterminator fights you have to do in the
game.

I will cover what attacks they have/do, strategies on defeating them,
the requirements you must have to face them, challenges that
involve them, and skill points in their battles. (the attacks don't
actually have names, I just put names for them.)

Name: Shellshock

Location: Dark Cathedral of Kronos

Requirements: Green Medal x3
10,000 Dread Points

Skill Points: Raining Shells- On the challenge, "Introducing
"Shellshock", use only the Dual Vipers
to defeat him.

Can't Hit Me- On the challenge, "Shellshock Returns",
defeat Shellshock without taking any
damage.

Dizzy- On the challenge, "Showdown with Shellshock",
turn all 3 of the bolt cranks by yourself.

Difficulty: Couch Potato.........Too Easy
Contestant...............Easy
Gladiator................Fair
Hero...................Medium
Exterminator.............Hard

Challenges:

Introducing Shellshock
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This is the first time you encounter Shellshock. First, you have to
order your bots to deploy a grind rail so that you can get to the
arena. He will be waiting for you on the other side of the arena. He
will be holding still, waiting for the doors behind you to shut.
Once he starts running at you, pull out your Dual Vipers, and make
your Magma Cannon in your tri-select. (defeat him here with only the
Dual Vipers for a skill point!) If you do not want to get veryclose
to him while he does his missile attack, use the vipers. Although I
suggest getting very up close and just destroying him with your
Magma Cannon, it's your choice. While he's firing missiles at you,
he will try to shoot at you with his rifle a few times. Simply walk
sideways whilst shooting him. After doing this for a few minutes,
his health will be very low, and he will run away. Defeat the
incoming enemies from the dropships, and the challenge is over.

Shellshock Returns!
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This challenge is just like "Introducing Shellshock", but he gains
his Bombing Rush and Inferno Slam attack. Just do the exact same
thing you did last challenge, making sure to just dodge his
missiles whilst shooting him with your Dual Vipers.

Showdown with Shellshock
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Ok, this is it. The final showdown with Shellshock. The objective
is to destroy Shellshock, and turn 3 bolt cranks. (turn these by
yourself for a skill point!) Ok, when you enter the first bolt
crank room, you will be met with three enemies. Use your Dual
Vipers to take these guys out. Shellshock will then float from the
ceiling. Perfect time to start dealing damage on him. Use your
Pulse Rifle, aim up, and start to shoot him. Once he lands on the
ground, go up close to him and pound him with your Magma Cannon.
Yes, you will get damaged, but this is a fast way to deal damage.
Have your bots turn the nodes as you destroy any enemies that
come out of the spawn boxes. Get ammo and nanotech if needed.

After turning the bolt crank, go to the next room. (go back
to the vendor room and keep going straight) There will be some
enemies you have to deal with, take them out with whatever weapon
you want. And, again, Shellshock will come out from the ceiling, but
with his health re-charged. Do the same technique you did last time,
just draining away his health while he floats down, then pounding
him with some close-range weapons. He will run away into the ceiling
again, and you will be met up with some enemies. Simply order your
bots to spin the bolt crank while you take out the baddies.

The same thing will happen in the next room, he comes back,
you drain his health, he runs away. Enemies come, your bots get the
bolt crank. Time for the last room. Get ready again for Shellshock.
Just take out the enemies and wait for Shellshock to come. Take out
the last of his health, and watch him fall.

Name: Reactor

Location: Battle Arena, Dreadzone Station

Requirements: Blue Medal x2
50,000 Dread Points

Skill Points: Reactionary- Defeat Reactor in under 30 seconds. (do in
challenge mode)

Difficulty: Couch Potato...............Easy
Contestant.................Fair
Gladiator................Medium
Hero.......................Hard
Exterminator.............Harder

Attacks: Plasma Rifle
Sonic Punch
Flaming Ray
Body Slam

Challenges:

Reactor Battle
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Ok, time to face off with the radioactive Reactor. He starts off
the challenge by running at you, trying to shoot your with his
Plasma Rifle. His is about x5 faster than Shellshock's rifle, so
just keep side flipping, draining his health with your guns. After
he's done shooting at you, if you don't have 1/3 of his HP down, he
will do his body slam move, while should only hurt you if you're
right next to him. If you're not done dealing a certain amount of
damage by then, he will do his Sonic Punch, where he moves super
fast towards you. He will be doing his moves over and over until you
have dealed a certain amount of damage to him. Just jump out of the
way of his attacks whilst you continually drain his HP.

Once you have dealed a certain amount of damage, he will run to
the other side of the arena. Chase him down, and he will do his
Flaming Ray attack. He sets out strips of blue flames that stay
there for a while. Simply jump over them while pounding him with
everything you have. He will cycle with all of his attacks, doing
his body slam the most. Simply dodge his fire, punches, and rifle
while shooting him with everything you have, and eventually he'll
fall.

Name: Eviscerator

Location: Battle Arena, Dreadzone Station

Requirements: Orange Medal x2
100,000 Dread Points

Skill Points: Eviscerator Raider- Defeat Eviscerator using only the
flail.

Difficulty: Couch Potato...............Fair
Contestant...............Medium
Gladiator..................Hard
Hero.....................Harder
Exterminator..............PWNT!

Attacks: Scyther
Summon
-Tremors
Plasma Ray
Spinning Torpedo

Challenges:

Eviscerator Battle
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
It's time for... EVISCERATOR! That's right, you have to face off
against the big baddie with razor sharp titanium blades for arms.
Ouchies! Ok, when you start the challenge, Eviscerator immediately
comes running towards you, using his Scyther move. Simply keep
jumping out of the way of his maniacal slashing whilst shooting
him with your guns. I found using the Hunter Mine Launcher is
pretty good against him as he's running, as the mines follow him.

He will do a Plasma Ray attack on you after the slashing attack.
Just strafe to one side, dodging the laser. Whilst shooting, of
course. He will then do the Scyther, and repeat the attacks.

After dealing a certain amount of damage, he will do his Summon
attack. He floats into a corner with a shield on, and summons
three Tremors. Blast away the baddies, and he will rush you yet
again.

He should jump back after a while, and do his Spinning Torpedo.
He spins around, launch a bunch of dart looking missiles around.
Then, he immediately goes into the Plasma Ray. Again, strafe
around the laser whilst shooting, and he will go into his shield
again. He will summon the Tremors yet again. Just keep shooting
him until he runs into his shield again. Shoot the Tremors, then
finish the Eviscerator off with a few more shots from your big
guns.

Name: Ace Hardlight

Location: Battle Arena, Dreadzone Station

Requirements: Black Medal x2
150,000 Dread Points

Skill Points: Ace in the Hole- Defeat Ace Hardlight without taking any
damage.

Difficulty: Couch Potato.............Medium
Contestant...............Medium
Gladiator................Medium
Hero.......................Hard
Exterminator.............Harder

Attacks: Stalker Arrow
Ultra Plasma Rifle

Challenges:

Ace Hardlight Battle
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
This is it, the battle of the highest ranked Exterminator there is.
Ok, pull out your best weapons, and prepare to fight. Ace'll start
out the fight by firing at you his Ultra Plasma Rifle. Jump over the
fire, while shooting him with your Fusion Rifle or other high-powered
weapon you're carrying in your explosive arsenal. He will then use
his Shock Grenade. The grenade sits there for about a second, and
creates a circular shockwave from it. Just jump over the wave.

After you have about 1/8 of his health down, he will turn on his
shield, regenerate his health, and fire an arrow looking thing that
stalks you until you do a certain amount of damage to him. After
firing the arrow, he creates some clones of himself. Get a weapon
with a pretty large radius and take them down. (using your Splitter
Rifle here is great, as well.) Continously strafe to one side,
dodging the arrow, shooting Ace's clones. (and him!) The clones
disappear after a hit or so from your weapons.

He will do the clone and shield thing about two more times. Just
keep shooting at him, dodging the arrow, rifle, and grenades until
he can't regenerate anymore. Once you hear him say "I'm out of
med-packs!" or something similar to that, that's his last
regenaration. Keep blasting the sucker until his HP is all the way
down.

Dreadzone Season Finale
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

This is it, hero. Prove yourself worthy of being the greatest
exterminator in Dreadzone history. (No, I will not cover the parts
of this "mission" where you have to destroy the shield generators.)
Ok, Vox will start out with his Tesla Ray attack. Since he sweeps
the electricity streams across the place, jump over it when he
moves it towards you. Continue shooting him with your Splitter
Rifle while he starts to use his Ghost Summon attack. Kill the
ghost enemies with any strong gun with a shock mod, and then
immediately start to shoot him.

Now, you must do this step carefully. He will continously
summon some bug looking bots while floating around the Arena. Use a
shock-modded weapon to take out the bots, and immediately shoot him
with your guns. After doing this for a while, he will put on a
shield and retreat to the other side of the arena.

After chasing the little wuss to the other side, he do a Plasma
Strike attack on you. Dodge the crosshairs that indicate where the
strikes will land. Continue to shoot him with your high-powered
weapons while also killing the enemies he summons. Eventually, he
will do his Exetricity attack. He releases about 6 X's that roll
around you, making a net of electricity. Simply jump over them
every time they try to shock you. They explode into a red
shockwave after a few seconds. Dodge his Junk Clunk and the
shockwave that follow after. Keep dodging his attacks whilst
shooting him until his health his down to the very last pixel.
After you defeat him, enjoy the follow cut-scenes. Enjoy, hero!
