01. ABOUT THE GAME ________________________________________ (.01Z) |
_____________________________/ \_______|
Minna no Golf 4 (Everybody's Golf) is one of the better golf games out there.
Don't let the cartoon-like characters and graphics fool you. The game play is
excellent and features realistic characteristics of golfing. Plenty of courses,
golfers, and extras add to the replay value. Graphics are great as well and the
eclectic arrary of music and sound effects make it an enjoyable experience.
The game itself features 24 playable characters on 12 different full courses
and includes short courses as well as a mini-putt game. To add to the fun,
there are many different golf clubs and balls to choose from. Additionally,
tons of other fun features including but not limited to, different outfits,
mirror courses, different caddies, and more are available!
Playing the actual game is very easy to learn. After a few holes, you can
easily get the hang of the gameplay. But to master your techniques will take
some time (trust me, you'll have to master them for harder courses/golfers.)
This game is definately fun for all ages due to the combination of it's cartoon
style characters, for the younger audiences, and realistic gameplay for the
older audiences. Even if golf doesn't interest you, try it out and you may
find yourself addicted to this excellent game.

_____________________________/ \_______|
______________________
/ /
/ a. SINGLE GOLF MODE / (.03Z)
/_____________________/
This mode is for one player games only. Within this mode, you can select either
Tournament, Versus, Short Course, Training, or Worldwide Competition.
---------------
1. TOURNAMENT MODE (.04Z)
---------------
In the Tournament Mode, you play against other golfers and if you win, a new
course will come out. If you complete the tournament for each course that's
available to you and win, more new courses will be available. Each course
will progressively get more difficult. This ranges from more hazards, big
elevation changes, stronger winds, and difficult to read greens. Some courses
may also feature different rules. As you get more experience, you'll need to
maintain a better stroke average as well.
In order to win, you will have to have a lower score (remember, lower is better
in golf!) than all the other golfers. If you're tied for first place, the
golfer who has more points will win. If the points are tied, you still win!
-----------
2. VERSUS MODE (.05Z)
-----------
In the Versus Mode, you play against one of the many golfers that you'll
eventually be able to select. In the beginning, you'll only have two golfers
to choose to do a match against. But if you win, you acquire the golfer you
just defeated, and more golfers will come out whom you can challenge. Each
battle consists of only 9 holes. In order to win, you will need to win by 4
strokes, or by having a lower score by the end of 9 holes, whichever comes
first. If after 9 holes, the scores are tied, you will go to a tie breaker
round where the first person who goes 1up, wins. After beating a character by
at least 1up, you can play them again at a harder level. Beating them on hard
should earn you more outfits. Also, depending on how many strokes up you win,
there are different win levels. For some of the golfers, in order for their
"difficult" version to come out, you need to beat them with a 2up or better in
order for it to come out.
The players will progressively get harder as you go on. They will often "cheat"
by hitting in crazy chip-ins and hole-in-ones. Don't let that frustrate you
though - there's nothing you can really do. If you play consistently, you'll
win without too much difficulty. Also, each game will get you some decent
points which you can use at the shop, so try not to reset it even if you know
you're going to lose. Some battles will also feature rules such as a +2 to
your stroke if you land in the rough/bunker or only being able to select one
character (yes, one of the weaker ones).
----------------
3. MINI COURSE MODE (.06Z)
----------------
In the Mini Course Mode, you play a round of golf on all Par 3 courses. There
is also a Mini Putt game (more detail on that later). An extra mini putt course
will become available if you score 100pts or better in the first mini putt
course.
-------------
4. TRAINING MODE (.07Z)
-------------
In the Training Mode, you can select whichever course you have available to you
and practice on it. You can select weather, season, wind speed, and some other
options. After a shot, you can decide to do it over or go with it. It's a good
way to get accustomed to the harder courses available later in the game.
---------------------
5. WORLDWIDE COMPETITION (.08Z)
---------------------
You can go to the www.mingol.net website to compete with other players. If you
have internet connection through the PS2, you can also play other golfers. If
you're using the Japanese game, I assume it only works in Japan.
__________________________
/ /
/ b. EVERYBODY'S GOLF MODE / (.09Z)
/__________________________/
In this mode, you can play against your friends (up to 4 people). The great
thing about the multi-player mode is that you can use only two controllers and
still play a game with four people. You can set which controller controls which
character. Just hand the controller over to whoever's turn it is.
The fun part of the multi-player mode are the taunts and sayings that you can
do while your opponent is hitting. Also, if you're in the view of their shot,
you can move around a bit by pressing on the left analog stick. If you want,
you can actually move around and/or taunt while they are hitting. This usually
causes a distraction and will most likely mess up their shot, especially if you
do it randomly.
-----------
1. STROKE PLAY (.10Z)
-----------
This mode allows you to play a regular golf game of up to four players on any
course which is available to you. Score is based on strokes.
----------
2. MATCH PLAY (.11Z)
----------
This mode only allows two players to play on any course available to you. Score
is based on who wins each course. The winner goes 1up, while the loser goes
1down. This means, if player 1 gets a birdie and player 2 gets a double bogey,
player 2 is only 1down. It doesn't count the strokes. Whoever is up at the end
is the winner. A tie results in no score for either player.
-----------
3. MINI COURSE (.12Z)
-----------
This mode allows up to four players to battle it out on the mini courses. Score
is based on strokes.

04. GOLFERS & CADDIES ________________________________________ (.17Z) |
_____________________________/ \_______|
-------
GOLFERS
-------
To get the different golfers, you will have to beat the different golfers that
are available in the Single Player Versus Mode. You will originally have 4
selectable golfers to use as your player, and you will have 2 golfers to choose
from to do a battle with (Purin and Gonzo). I think that for some of the
golfers, in order for their "difficult" version to come out, you need to beat
them with a 2up or better in order for it to come out.
Some of the golfers may or may not come out depending on the actual order you
defeat them in. Here is the exact order in which I defeated the golfers.
--------------- -------------
Golfer Defeated Golfer Gained
--------------- -------------
Purin Doggy
Gonzo Hitomi, Sakura
Sakura Garuda
Hitomi Rin
Rin Silvia
Doggy None
Silvia None
Garuda Musashi
Musashi Shark, Bronson
Shark Gloria
Bronson Marion
Gloria Layla, Cougar
Marion Nina, Falcon
Cougar Rose
Falcon None
Nina None
Layla Vader
Rose Z
Vader None
Z None
Here's a small note about the order : Originally, I defeated Purin first and
got out Doggy. Then I played Gonzo, and Hitomi and Sakura came out. I tried it
the other way, by playing Gonzo first. No one came out. After playing Purin,
Doggy, Hitomi, and Sakura came out. So, the order in which the golfers come out
really don't change too much. If you beat a golfer and no one comes out, just
defeat the other golfer(s) you haven't beat yet to bring them out.
The diagram below, which shows which golfers are gained by beating who, is as
accurate to the best of my knowledge.
The number beside the name indicates the order in which the golfer was beaten
to bring out the new golfers. As indicated in the original list above, there
were some golfers I defeated and no new golfers came out. I didn't label these
golfers with numbers in the diagram below. Skipping those golfers may or may
not affect the golfers which come out as I explained in the example above.
However, this should be a good general list of which golfers come out after
beating a particular golfer.

I am not sure if the placement of the characters in the US version is the same
as in the Japanese version. If they are, here is how I numbered the characters
so you can reference them.

Please take note of the following for the information found in this section.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Power, Control, Impact, and Spin are with original Club and Ball (1st choice)
* Strength & Weakness are with original Club and Ball (1st choice)
* After your player does a pose, you can press L2 to activate other poses from
other characters (if you've bought or won this particular item). The main
poses I have listed are for Eagle or better, Birdie, Par, and Bogey. Birdie
poses have two variations. The second variation usually comes out after
making two Birdies in a row. Some poses may only be seen when the character
is in the second style of outfits.
* The "S" rating is the best, followed by "A", "B", etc.
* Alternative outfits can be gained by building up their heart meter (using
the same character a lot) or by winning two times in the Versus mode. You
can also buy them at the shop if they're available.
* Picked refers to the saying when the character is selected.
* The different sayings and "picked" sayings are left in Japanese. I decided
not to translate them because a lot of the terms are slang and are difficult
to translate directly to English.
* Sayings are only available in the Multi-Player mode.
* If a particular saying or picked saying has a (-) in place, I was not able
to comprehend what they were saying.
EXTRA NOTE : Before selecting a character, press [ ] (Square) to make your
golfer left-handed.

CADDIES
-------
The more you use a certain caddy, the better your relationship grows with that
particular caddy. You will also be able to acquire more outfits for that
caddy if you use them enough.
* When a caddy is on the fairway during your tee off shot, this usually
indicates that you should be able to land the ball safely in that area, as
long as you don't totally screw it up. So if you're doubtful if you can make
it, the caddy will let you know it's okay by being around the fairway. If you
want, you can zoom in to the caddy while he/she/it walks around. The caddy
will look around and signal to you as if they were saying, "It's okay, hit
here!"
* On occassion, the caddy will trip/fall when they run to the ball which make
for some funny moments.

[ 1 ] This section shows the current hole's information. A red flag with a
number inside indicates the current hole you're playing. Right next to
the flag, it will show whether the hole is a Par 3, 4, or 5 as well as
the total yards of the current hole.
[ 2 ] This section has a head shot of your player. Beside it will be the
current stroke you're on. For instance, if you're at the tee shot, it
will show a 1. Right above it will show how many strokes down or up you
are if you're playing against someone. Below the head shot is the
current number of points you have acquired for the current hole.
[ 3 ] This section shows an arrow which indicates the status of the wind.
It will show you the current direction of the wind as well as the
speed. However, the speed will be unknown until all the players tee
off. You can guess the speed of the wind by seeing how fast the stripes
on the arrow are moving. If there is no arrow, there is no wind.
[ 4 ] This section has a head shot of your opponent along with how many
strokes up or down the player is (or current score). This section does
not appear in the tournament mode.
[ 5 ] This section shows how many total yards are remaining from the current
position of your ball to the pin.
[ 6 ] This section shows which club you are currently using. Right below the
picture of your club, it shows the maximum number of yards the club is
capable of hitting. Note : Weather, Wind, and Lie will effect this
number.
[ 7 ] This section shows the elevation changes of the current hole you're on.
[ 8 ] This section shows your power/accuracy meter for hitting the ball.
[ 9 ] This section shows the current lie of your ball. The lie refers to
where the ball is actually situated on. This will tell you whether the
ball is on the fairway, semi-rough, rough, bunker, etc. It will also
tell you the degree of the surface the ball is on. Right below it will
be a percentage. This percentage indicates how much of your power will
be transferred to the ball. More information regarding this in the
Swinging and Putting section.
[ 10 ] This is view of the course and your player.

\________________________________________/ |
06. SWINGING & PUTTING ________________________________________ (.19Z) |
_____________________________/ \_______|
________________________
/ /
/ BASIC SWINGING TACTICS /
/________________________/
For the following explanations, I will assume that you are using the default
mode for hitting the ball. In this mode, you have to press circle three times
in order to hit the ball. Before you begin a game, you have the option of
choosing the easy mode which will enable you to hit the ball by pressing circle
only two times. This allows a perfect straight shot all the time. However, this
is not always a good idea since you may want to curve the ball using the meter
when you become advanced.
On to the basics of hitting the ball. Pressing circle once will activate the
power meter. A yellow bar will start moving to the left. This bar indicates the
power of your swing. The leftmost you can go is 100% and the point you started
at is 0%. You can also see the yards written at the bottom for the particular
club you are using. Once you have decided how much power to put in your swing,
press circle again. This will confirm the amount of power in your swing. The
bar will then start to move right.
Now, you have to press circle one last time to set how you want the ball to
react when hit upon. Pressing circle right at 0% will make the ball go into a
straight line. If you press circle to the left of 0%, it will slice the ball.
A slice is when the ball curves toward the right. If you press circle to the
right of 0%, it will hook the ball. A hook is when the ball curves toward the
left.
There are a couple conditions to this though. On the bottom of the meter,
right below the 0% mark, there is another small bar. This bar is pink and red.
In order to hit the ball properly, you will need to stay within this red bar.
If you press circle outside of this red bar, you will hit the ball straight up
or some other crazy direction. Both of the bar's width will vary with the golf
club you're using. I like to think of this pink bar as a safety buffer. Even if
you don't hit the 0% mark for a straight shot, as long as you're within the
pink bar, the shot will be fairly straight and not hook/slice as much. However
if you hit within the red bar, the ball will hook/slice a lot more. The
intensity of the hook/slice will depend on how far you are from the 0% mark.
The farther you are, the more it will hook/slice.
Some things to keep in mind before you swing the ball. You can press square
once to get more power in your shot. If you press it a second time, you'll get
full power for the shot. Press it again and it returns to normal. Each person
carries a different number of power shots so use them wisely if your particular
character is low on power.
Now that you've got the basics of how to swing at the ball, it's time to take
into account the many variables that will affect your shot. Firstly, you will
need to choose the right club. Most of the time, it will already be set to the
most recommended club. After selecting your club (L1 & R1), press Up and
Triangle to get a view of the course. You need to position the yellow marker
to the area of the course you want to hit the ball to. The yellow marker you
see is the maximum yards the club itself will hit (not taking into account the
wind, etc.) Remember that this yardage represents how far the ball will go
AFTER LANDING. For example, if the yellow marker says 100 yards, then the ball
will drop at about 85-90 yards, then roll to a stop to 100 yards. Make sure you
keep this in mind when your club can barely clear a hazard, etc.
This is where a lot of details come into play. You'll need to check the wind.
See which direction it's heading and how fast it's blowing (guess, for the
first shot). If the wind is blowing toward you, your ball will fall down
quicker. If the wind is blowing away from you, your shot will soar farther. If
it's to the left or right, the ball will sail more toward that direction. You
must take this into account when lining up the shot.
Note * The longer the shot is, the more the wind will affect the shot. If it's
a short 20 yard chip, it won't affect the ball that much, if at all.
Next, check your club and make sure it has enough power to where you want the
ball to land. Make sure you compensate for the wind if there is any. On the
tee shot, just make sure you get it on the fairway and line it up for a good
second shot. The next portion will come in handy for regular shots, but is
mainly for the shot where you're aiming for the green.
Check to see how many more yards are remaining. Now, take into account the
power of the wind if there is any. If it's blowing toward you, you will need
to add more power to overcome it. If it's blowing away from you, then take
some power off, or don't hit the ball as hard. For example, let's say the wind
is blowing 5m south. The pin is 150 yards away. Your club hits to 150 yards.
Perfect? Nope. Even if you hit 100%, you will NOT get 150 yards from the club.
The 5m wind will take a good 20+ yards away from your shot. So, you'll need to
get a bigger club, maybe one that can hit 170 yards. If the wind is blowing the
opposite way, reduce the power of your club. Winds that come in from the right
or left don't affect the power of the shot as much, but you'll still need to
pay attention to it. In order to adjust to these winds, you'll need to move
left or right of your actual target since the wind will carry the ball. How
much more to the left or right? Well, if you zoom into the green, you'll see
crosshairs that form boxes. This tells you the layout of the green. For a good
reference, I often use these boxes to adjust to the wind. For every 'm' of wind
coming in from the left or right, I usually move about half a box.
Now, once you've got the right position, you're ready to hit right? Wrong.
Since you repositioned yourself to the left or right some more due to the wind,
you need to increase the power of the shot by about 5-10 yards per 'm' coming
in from the side. After you've done that, there's another detail - the
elevation point of the pin. At the top of the screen, in the middle, it will
show how far up or down the pin is. Blue means down and red means up. If it
says 10 yards in red with an arrow pointing up, guess what, you need to add 10
more yards to your shot after the rest of the adjustments to reach the pin.
Phew! Finally, you can take your shot right? Sorry, couple more things to note
before you swing. You need to check the lower right hand portion of the screen.
This shows your lie, ie. where your ball is. If it's on the fairway, no need
to make adjustments. Semi-rough, rough, bunker? You'll need to add more power!
You can see the how deep the ball is in the rough or bunker so adjust to it.
The deeper the ball is, the more power you'll need. One thing to note as well
is that when you're deep in the rough or bunker, your red bar on the meter
will often disappear. You'll need to hit it exactly at 0% to get a nice and
clean straight shot. Another piece of information in this area is the
percentage. This shows what percetange of your power will actually hit the
ball. If it says 100% and you hit for 100 yards, the ball will go 100 yards.
If it says 50%, then it will only go for 50 yards. This pecentage will also be
in a range such as 50%-100%. This is difficult since you'll have to guess how
much of your power will actually go into the shot. If you don't want this to
happen to you, stay out of the rough and bunker!
Next, check the angle of your lie. If it's tilted to the right, the ball will
curve right and vice versa. The steeper the angle, the more intense the curve
will be. There is a number with a degree symbol above the golf ball picture to
tell you exactly how many degrees the incline is. Also, the steeper the angle
is, the less yards you'll get out of your club. So be sure to add a bit more
power to compensate for the angle.
Now, take all this information and get close to the green until you see the
crosshairs. With all the previous information in your head, you will now need
to make your final adjustment. Position your marker so that when the ball gets
on the green, it will come as close to pin as possible. Looking at the cross
hairs, you can see where the green slopes. If the pin is to the left, and an
uphill slope is to the right, aim toward the right side of the pin so that
when the ball lands, it will curve to the left, toward the pin. To figure how
much to move to the left or right, look at the dots that are on the crosshairs.
The faster they move, the more intense the slope is. Adjust accordingly and
swing away.
For one final adjustment, please check out the Weather section.
These are all the basic fundamentals of getting the best out of your shot. You
don't necessarily have to do it in the order which is mentioned above, just as
long as you take into account each detail before swinging. I know it may seem
like a crapload of information to just take one shot, but it's a lot quicker
than it seems. Everything is easily visible on the screen and once you get
familiar with the controls, it won't take more than 10+ seconds to get a swing
off.

/ ADVANCED SWINGING TACTICS /
/___________________________/
Once you've mastered or have gotten use to the basic swinging tactics detailed
above, you can add a little more control to your ball so you can place it
perfectly on the green or to avoid obstacles.
There are 8 basic ball control functions while you are swinging : The main
ones are Top Spin, Back Spin, Left Spin, and Right Spin. The other four are
Top Left, Top Right, Back Left, and Back Right spin.
N = Normal Shot, No Spin
T = Top Spin TL = Top Left Spin
R = Right Spin TR = Top Right Spin
L = Left Spin BL = Back Right Spin
B = Back Sping BR = Back Right Spin
|||||||||||||||
|| TL T TR ||
|| ||
|| ||
|| ||
|| ||
|| L N R ||
|| ||
|| ||
|| ||
|| ||
|| BL B BR ||
|||||||||||||||
To perform any of these basics ball control functions, think of the D-Pad as
the golf ball. Press and hold down in the area you want to hit the ball after
pressing circle for the second time. You can also press down on the D-Pad
after the first circle, but it may not be as effective. For example, say you
want a Back Right Spin. After pressing circle, press and hold Down+Right on
the D-Pad until you are finished with your shot.
Here is a quick summary of how the ball will react for each type of spin.
[ T. Spin ] The ball will soar lower than usual. After landing, the ball
will tend to roll forward more compared to a normal shot.
[ B. Spin ] The ball will soar higher than usual. After landing, the ball
will not roll as much compared to a normal shot.
[ L. Spin ] The ball will curve outward to the left, then curve back in
toward the right.
[ R. Spin ] The ball will curve outward to the right, then curve back in
toward the left.
[ TR Spin ] The ball will soar lower than usual and curve toward the right
before curving back in toward the left. The ball will roll
forward a bit more compared to a normal shot.
[ TL Spin ] The ball will soar lower than usual and curve toward the left
before curving back in toward the left. The ball will roll
forward a bit more compared to a normal shot.
[ BR Spin ] The ball will soar higher than usual and curve outward to the
right before curving back in toward the left. The ball will not
roll as much compared to a normal shot.
[ BL Spin ] The ball will soar higher than usual and curve outward to the
left before curving back in toward the right. The ball will
not roll forward as much compared to a normal shot.
After you've learned these basic ball control functions, it's time to make
them work even better. You can intensify the spin of the ball by performing
a simple procedure. Instead of just holding down a direction on the D-Pad,
you can first hold down in the opposite direction to intensify the spin. Which
direction you hold down depends on how you want the ball to react. You can do
it Up/Down, Down/Up, Left/Right, Right/Left, Down Left/ Up Right, Up Right /
Down Left, Down Right / Up Left, Up Left / Down Right, Down Left / Down Right,
Down Right / Down Left, Up Right / Up Left, Up Left / Up Right.
_______________________________________________________________________________
IN ORDER FOR THE SPIN TO INTENSIFY, YOU MUST HIT THE 0% MARK EXACTLY OR IT WILL
NOT WORK! THE POWER OF THE STROKE DOES NOT MATTER.
_______________________________________________________________________________
EXAMPLE : Say you want an intensified back spin, this is what you do :
Press circle to activate the bar. Once the bar moves to the left, press and
hold up. Do this BEFORE pressing circle for the second time. You can then
press circle for the second time to confirm the power of your stroke. After
pressing circle for the second time, immediately let go of the D-Pad. Press
and hold down until you press circle for the final time. This may take a little
getting use to, but it's not too difficult.
You can intensify any of the spins by using this method. The only difference is
that, whatever type of spin you want, press and down in the opposite direction
first, then the direction you want the ball to be hit.
If you perform any of these spins correctly, you will hear a sound right after
pressing circle for the third time. Your club and ball will also light up with
a bit of effects.
--------------------------------
HOW TO EFFECTIVELY USE THE SPINS
--------------------------------
Once you learned how to perform the spins, let's take a look at how to use
them effectively.
[ T. SPIN ] The top spin is useful to use when you're just in front of a
tree with branches that are in your shot line. Using the top
spin will ensure that the ball soars lower and clears the
branches. You will have to use your own judgement to know when
it can and can't be used effectively. It will also work for
any other obstacles that you want to hit under.
The top spin can also be used effectively when going for the
green. To counteract the elevation changes or distance, use
the top spin to roll the ball forward toward the pin by using
less power.
[ B. SPIN ] The back spin is also useful when you want to make sure that
you clear an obstacle after hitting the ball. It will soar
higher than a normal shot so it's also useful when you don't
want the ball to roll as much after it has landed. However,
it's mostly used for the shot when you're going for the green.
Using a backspin allows the ball to land almost exactly where
you want it, give or take a few yards. If you intensify the
spin, the ball will stop shortly after landing and spin back
(with a flame!) This is useful when there is a hazard in front
of the pin/green. You wouldn't want to aim the ball in front
of the pin because it'll most likely fall into the hazard.
Instead, add a little more power, go over the pin, and add a
back spin. The ball will spin back toward the pin.
Note : A ball that has back spin on it will be effected by the
wind a lot more and the distance it will travel will be less
then what the golf club indicates.
[ R. SPIN ] All of these types of spins are mainly used to get the ball
[ L. SPIN ] around weird angles and compensate for the wind. If there is
[ TR SPIN ] an obstacle in your line of shot, simply use one of these spins
[ TL SPIN ] to get around them and still land where you originally had
[ BR SPIN ] intended. Also, if there is a strong wind, you can use one of
[ BL SPIN ] these spins to counteract the wind, or go along with the wind.
These spins are useful on courses with high levels of wind. Use
them to your advantage!
Here is a quick illustration to show what I mean :

If ( ) indicates the position of the ball, you would naturally want to hit it
straight to get to the pin. However, the tree is in the way. Your next choice
would be to hit it on the left part of the green. That makes for a very hard
putt shot. So instead, get on the green in great position with a spin. Using
the Back Left Spin, you can now clear the obstacle and still land on the
green near the pin. The 'x' marks the path of the ball when hit with a Back
Left Spin.

/ PUTTING TACTICS /
/_________________/
Putting is the most important part of the game. It takes some getting use to
and it can be very hard to read the green on the more difficult courses. This
section will only cover some basic information about how to putt and the
different variables. I could explain it in more detail, but it wouldn't do any
good in written form. You have to actually play it to get the feel for it.
Once you get the basics covered below, you should have no problem getting the
feel for putting.
On the green, all you have to do is hit the circle button twice to putt. Once
to move the bar, and again to stop it. All the other controls are kept the
same.
Once you're on the green, you will see a bunch of crosshairs on the ground.
These crosshairs are for your reference. By looking at the angle of the
crosshairs on the green, you can tell where the slopes are and how steep they
are. On these crosshairs are small dots that move along them. These indicate
the actual intensity of the slope. The faster it moves, the more intense the
slope is.
Just as with regular shots, you have the option to press Square and add more
power to your stroke. Unless you're extremely far away from the pin, or going
up against a steep incline you won't really use this. Another familiar
variable to watch out for is the elevation change to the pin. Again, blue
means downhill, and red means uphill. When you're deciding the amount of
power to put into the stroke, make sure to take this into account. Uphill
equals more power and downhill equals less power.
So that you can relate putting to the regular shots, think of the slopes as
wind. If the crosshairs indicate that the slopes are moving to the left, hit
to the right of the pin so that it will curve back to the left. Again, deciding
how much to move takes practice. After a couple putts here and there, you will
eventually get the feeling of how much to turn in relation to the intensity
of the slope.
As the greens get more difficult, the slopes can change multiple times before
reaching the pin. It may be difficult to get at first, but if you imagine the
line in your head, you will eventually get the basic idea.

07. WEATHER ________________________________________ (.20Z) |
_____________________________/ \_______|
Weather will affect your game. If you pick the Summer season, the wind will
usually be stronger. In the Fall, the weather will normally be calm with a few
strong winds here and there. In the Winter, rain and snow will come into play.
In the Spring, wind will pick up a bit. Sudden rain can be a common occurance
as well.
[ Sunny ] In this type of weather, the wind is not too strong. It usually
has a range of about 0m-4m.
[ Rainy ] In rainy weather, wind can get stronger. Also, the power of your
stroke will diminish in the rain, so you'll have to hit harder.
This also applies to your stroke on the green. The wind power
can range from 0m up to 9m if it's extreme
[ Snowy ] Wind can get strong so you'll have to add some extra power. On
the green, it won't affect your power stroke as much as in the
rain.

/ COURSE SUMMARY /
/________________/
Here is a basic summary of each course and each of the holes. Each shot is
outlined with what hazards to watch out for as well as general info of the
green. If the hole is a Par 5, I will guide you for both an Eagle shot or safe
shot. If you go for the Eagle shot, then just skip the 3rd shot summary since
it's the exact summary detailed in the 2nd shot. Also, depending on where
exactly you land the ball, the position of the hazards may slightly be off.
Although there aren't really that many different lines to take (aside from
Par 5 holes), remember that this is just a quick reference guide. A lot of the
details are obvious, but some courses may have a trick or two to look out for.
_______________________________________________________________________________
###############################################################################
[ Course No. 01 ] Sakura Yama Onsen C.C.
###############################################################################
_______________________________________________________________________________
This course is the easiest of all the courses available. The fairways are nice
and wide, wind is calm, and the hazards shouldn't be a real threat. The greens
are easy to read as well with the gentle and mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 01 ] Par 4 (404 yards)
-------------
1st Shot No real hazards. If you hit it real short, there is a bunker
to the right of the fairway. 14 yards down in elevation to
the pin.
2nd Shot No real hazards. If you hook it real bad and hit it short,
there's a bunker to the left.
Green Very gentle slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 02 ] Par 3 (170 yards)
-------------
1st Shot To the right is a big water hazard. If you hook it bad,
there's a bunker at the bottom left of the green. 3.3 yards
down in elevation to the pin.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 03 ] Par 4 (387 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep it in the middle. The tree shouldn't pose a problem.
To the far right and left are bunkers. 5.8 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you hit it short, there's a river hazard. To the top
left of the green is a bunker.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 04 ] Par 4 (428 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you hit it short, there are bunkers to both the left
and right sides. 25 yards down in elevation to pin.
2nd Shot Bunker hazards to the bottom left and right of the green
if you hit it short.
Green Gentle slopes, but can get mild at the edges.
-------------
[ Hole No. 05 ] Par 5 (500 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can easily get an Eagle on this hole. Hit it short
to the left of the fairway. There are two bunkers to the
right of the fairway. If you get too close, your second
shot will most likely hit the wall. 15 yards down in
elevation top in.
2nd Shot If you're going for the Eagle : To the left of the green
are two bunkers. If you hit it too much to the right, you
can easily get O.B. If you're going for a safe shot, no
real hazards unless you hook it bad to the left where a
bunker awaits.
3rd Shot Only if you've done the safe shot : Watch out for the
two bunkers to the left of the green. If you hit it too
strong or slice it too much, you can get O.B.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 06 ] Par 4 (344 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can power your way over the trees, in which case
watch out for the bunker on the lower right of the
fairway if you hit it short, or hit the trees. There is
another bunker to the left which your ball can easily
roll into. If you prefer the safer way there's a bunker
hazard to the left if you hook it and hit it short. 1.7
yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch the bunker hazards to the very top of the green and
bottom left of the green.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 07 ] Par 3 (164 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the water hazard if you hit it short. There is
a bunker hazard to the top right as well. 12 yards down
in elevation to pin.
Green Mild to steep slopes on the right side.
-------------
[ Hole No. 08 ] Par 4 (391 yards)
-------------
1st Shot No real hazards unless you hit it real short, then there are
some bunkers. 1.7 yards up in elevation to pin.
2nd Shot There's a bunker hazard to the bottom right of the green.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 09 ] Par 5 (488 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, make sure you keep the shot high to
avoid hitting the trees. If you go for the right, there are
a couple bunkers. The only one to watch out for would be the
one at the top right. 19 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went for the left on the first shot, you could most
likely make it on the green. Power up your stroke and watch
for the water hazard if you hit it short. If you took the
right or want to play it safe, watch out for the bunkers to
the left and right of the fairway.
3rd Shot If you played it safe, just watch for the water hazard and
bunker at the top right.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 10 ] Par 4 (379 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you hit way short, there are two bunkers to the left,
one above the other. There is also a tree to the left. 10
yards up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Keep in the middle since there are bunker hazards to both
the left and right side, just under the green.
Green Gentle slopes with some mild slopes at the edges of the
green.
-------------
[ Hole No. 11 ] Par 5 (529 yards)
-------------
1st Shot There are two bunker to the right. The only one you should
be a little worried about is the top one. If you hit it
short and slice it, you may end up in there. There is also
another bunker to the far left. It shouldn't really pose a
threat. 10 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If the wind isn't against you and your character has enough
power, you can make it on the green. Just watch for the
water hazard if you hit it short, and the two bunkers to the
right of the green. If you go for the safe route watch out
for two bunkers. One to the left and one to the right.
3rd Shot If you took the safe route, watch for the bunker on the
bottom left and right of the green. If you hook it to the
left, you'll end up in a water hazard.
Green Gentle slopes, with mild slopes on the right edge, near the
bunkers.
-------------
[ Hole No. 12 ] Par 4 (421 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you hit it way short, there'll be a water hazard waiting.
Hooking it to the left will also result in a water hazard.
To the top right, watch for the bunker hazard which you can
roll into. 5.8 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot There are three bunkers to watch for. Two to the right - one
on top and one on bottom. There's another one toward the
bottom left.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 13 ] Par 3 (184 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the bunker at the bottom of the green. 9.3 yards
up in elevation to the pin.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 14 ] Par 4 (428 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go straight, watch for the bunker at the top of the
fairway. There is another bunker about 80 yards down if you
hit it short. If you aim toward the right, watch for the
big statue and the trees which your ball can hit on the way
down. 5.7 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you hit it short, there are two bunkers, one to the right
and one to left. If you slice it to the right, there is yet
another bunker hazard.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 15 ] Par 4 (314 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep your shot to the right or your second shot will be
blocked by several trees. If you hit it short to the right,
there is a bunker. 7.1 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot There are several hazards. To the top, bottom right, and
bottom left are bunkers. To the far left is a water hazard.
Keep the shot straight and you should be fine.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 16 ] Par 3 (162 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Hitting it short may result in a bunker hazard. Go too far
and to the left, and another bunker awaits. To the right,
there is yet another bunker and a tree that may get in the
way. 15 yards down in elevation to the pin.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 17 ] Par 5 (506 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, watch for the bunker to the right of
the fairway if your shot falls short. Go too far and you'll
end up in a water hazard. If you go for the right, watch for
the bunker to the far right. The fairway is very narrow here
so you have to be accurate. Both ways can set you up for an
Eagle shot. 19 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you're going for an Eagle try, watch for the kidney
shaped bunkers to the top and bottom right of the green. If
want to go for a "safer" shot, watch for the two bunkers to
the left.
3rd Shot If you went for the "safer" shot watch for the kidney shaped
bunkers to the top and bottom right of the green.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 18 ] Par 4 (349 yards)
-------------
1st Shot On the left, watch for the water and bunker hazards. If you
hit farther up, there's another bunker, and to the lower
right of that is a bunker as well.
2nd Shot There are bunker hazards to both the right and left of the
green. There is another bunker to the bottom right of the
green as well. If you hook it real bad to the left, you'll
end up in a water hazard.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
_______________________________________________________________________________
###############################################################################
[ Course No. 02 ] Aloha Beach Resort
###############################################################################
_______________________________________________________________________________
This course features some elevation changes. There are many water hazards
as well accompanied by some narrow fairways. The greens here are mostly gentle
but can get a bit milder than in Course No. 1.
-------------
[ Hole No. 01 ] Par 4 (386 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you hit it close to the left, watch for the bunker to
the left of the fairway, partially hidden by the trees.
Hooking it to the left may also result in falling off the
course. 35 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers at the top of the green as well as
to the right.
Green Gentle slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 02 ] Par 3 (188 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Hit it too short, and you'll fall off the course and get a
water hazard. Hit it too far and there are bunkers to the
top right and left of the green. 17 yards down in elevation
to the pin.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 03 ] Par 5 (518 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the safe route and hit it to the right, just
be careful of the two bunkers towards the left. I'd rather
aim straight. If you go straight, watch for the bunker to
the left and the rough on the right. 14 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went the safe route, watch for the bunker to the left
of the fairway. If you went straight, you can try to go for
the green here. You'll have to be careful of the trees. It's
easy to hit the unless you use some type of right or left
spin on the ball. Anyway, if you go for the green, watch for
the trees as mentioned and the bunkers at the bottom right
and left of the green as well as towards the top. The green
is elevated here so make sure to get the right amount of
power. If you want to go the safer way, watch for the bunker
toward the left of the fairway, as well as the one towards
the top right.
3rd Shot If you went for the safer way, watch for the two bunkers at
the bottom right and left of the green. There is another one
towards the top of the green as well.
Green Gentle to mild.
-------------
[ Hole No. 04 ] Par 4 (394 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go straight, watch for the bunker towards the left.
If you go for the left, make sure you clear the trees at tee
off. The fairway is narrow here and there are no hazards. 15
yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot There are three bunkers surrounding the green to watch for.
Depending on whether you went straight or left on the first
shot, they will be positioned towards the top, bottom, left
or top, right, left.
Green Gentle to mild.
-------------
[ Hole No. 05 ] Par 4 (408 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, watch for the long bunker in the
middle of the fairway if you hit it short. If you try to
power it a little more to the right, there is another bunker
there. If you go over the water, just make sure you put
enough power in your stroke to clear the water hazard. 4.4
yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot There is a huge bunker towards the right of the green. Two
other bunkers, one to the top and one to the left are also
surrounding the green.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 06 ] Par 5 (506 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, make sure you aim away from the
right of the fairway since the trees may get in the way for
your second shot. If you go for the right, there is a long
strech of bunker the right of the fairway. Go too much to
the left and you can end up O.B (out of bounds). The fairway
here is very narrow. Don't try to power it too much here as
well or else you may end up hitting the rocks on the 2nd
shot (only if you're going for the green). 18 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you're going for the green from this point make sure you
put enough power (the green is elevated). If you hit it real
short, you'll end up in a water hazard. If you pass the
water but still don't have enough power to reach the green,
you'll end up in a bunker located right below the green. If
you hit it too strong, another bunker awaits toward the top
of the green.
3rd Shot If you went the safe way, watch for the water and bunker
hazards if you hit short. Hitting it too strong may end up
in the bunker as well, which is located at the top of the
green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes which can get steep towards the right
edge.
-------------
[ Hole No. 07 ] Par 4 (357 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, watch for the bunker hazard towards
the right of the fairway. Going right opens you up to two
O.B's. One if you hit it short and another if you hit too
far to the left. If your character has a lot of power and
the wind is pushing up, there is a possibility you may end
up in a water hazard as well. 2.3 yards up in elevation to
the pin.
2nd Shot Whichever way you went for the 1st shot, make sure to clear
the water hazard near the bottom of the green. Hitting it
too much may result in a bunker hazard which are located at
the top right and left of the green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 08 ] Par 4 (382 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the small bunker on the fairway towards the left.
Falling short and too much to the right may result in an O.B
as well. If you want to take a risk, you can try to make it
over the rock formation. Depending on how much power you
use, you can have the ball hit the rock formation and bounce
out of the O.B area, or have the ball roll out of the rough
in the O.B area. 22 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunker hazards towards the top and left of the
green. Slicing it way to the right may result in an O.B.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 09 ] Par 3 (165 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Hazards surround the green on this hole. Hit it short and
you'll end up with a water hazard. Too much to the right or
left and you'll find yourself in a bunker hazard. Towards
the top right of the green is yet another bunker. 20 yards
down in elevation to the pin.
Green Gentle slopes which can get steep towards the bottom of the
green.
-------------
[ Hole No. 10 ] Par 4 (392 yards)
-------------
1st Shot No real hazards to worry about. If you hit it real short and
to the far left or far right, there are bunkers. 13 yards
down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for bunker hazards towards the right and left of the
green. There is another bunker at the base of the green as
well.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 11 ] Par 5 (599 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you want to try to for an Eagle, hit it just to the left
of the second bunker on the right. If you go for the normal
route, watch for the bunker to the left of the fairway. 15
yards down in elevation.
2nd Shot If you're going for an Eagle, hit it over the body of water.
Watch for the bunker at the base of the green as well as
another one towards the top left. If you went the normal
route, there are no real hazards. Just stay out of the rough
and you'll be fine.
3rd Shot If you went the normal route, watch for the bunkers at the
bottom right and left of the green. There is another bunker
to look out for at the top left.
Green Gentle slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 12 ] Par 4 (419 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep it to the right and you'll be fine. If you hook it to
the left, watch for the small bunker in the fairway. 18
yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers to the top left and right and to the
bottom of the green. If you slice it way to the right, there
is a water hazard waiting for you.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 13 ] Par 3 (173 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Hit it real short, and you'll end up in a water hazard. Hit
it short and to the left and you'll end up in a bunker.
Another bunker is located to the top right of the green. 1.6
yards up in elevation to the pin.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 14 ] Par 4 (430 yards)
-------------
1st Shot No real hazards. Just stay away from the rough. 14 yards
down in elevation.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers to the top, left, and bottom of the
green. Hit it too far and there's a water hazard.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 15 ] Par 4 (424 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the bunker to the left if you hit it too short. To
the right are some trees you might want to be careful of. 25
yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Three bunker hazards to watch for - one to the right of the
green as well as two more to the top and bottom left of the
green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 16 ] Par 5 (510 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep it straight and stay out of the rough. If your golfer
has a lot of power, watch out for the small bunker towards
the left. 22 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you want to go for the green, watch for the bunker at
the base of the green as well as towards the top. If you
want to play it safe, watch for the bunker to the left
on the fairway.
3rd Shot If you went the safe way, watch for the two bunkers at the
top and bottom of the green.
Green Gentle slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 17 ] Par 3 (136 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the long stretch of bunker outlining the green to
the left. There are two more bunkers towards the top and
bottom right of the green. If you can control your power,
you can hit it short to the fairway and have the ball roll
onto the green. 25 yards down in elevation to the pin.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 18 ] Par 4 (337 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go straight, watch for the bunker to the left of the
fairway. You can opt to go over the water as well in which
case you'll have to watch for the bunkers to the left and
right just below the green.
2nd Shot Watch for the multiple bunkers around the green which are
located at the top right, far right, left, bottom left, and
bottom of the green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes which an get steep towards the left of
the green.

[ Course No. 03 ] Western Valley C.C.
###############################################################################
_______________________________________________________________________________
There are plenty of elevation changes here as well as a handful of water hazard
areas to watch out for. The greens are not bad as they range from gentle to
mild but can get steep depending on the area of the green you land.
-------------
[ Hole No. 01 ] Par 4 (443 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Use plenty of power and you should easily clear the long
stretch of bunker towards the left of the fairway. Just
watch for the rough area if you hit too strong towards the
right. 16 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the water hazard if you hit it too short. If you
end up slicing it too much to the right, you may end up in
bunker located just to the right of the green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 02 ] Par 3 (152 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the water hazard surrounding the top, right, and
bottom right of the green. Good control of power is very
important here if you want to land on the green safely. 12
yards down in elevation to the pin.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 03 ] Par 5 (526 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Hit the ball straight over the cliff on the right. Use
plenty of power and you'll go over it easily. Make sure
you keep it to the right as well, but not too much, so that
for your second shot, the cliff on the left won't get in the
way. 14 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot You can go for the green here but it can be risky due to the
large water hazard to the right of the green. There is also
a small bunker towards the left of the green. Depending on
where the pin is located, the tree can also get in the way
on the ball's decent. If you go for the safer shot, watch
for the bunker towards the left of the fairway. Also,
depending on where the pin is located, make sure your 3rd
shot won't have the tree in your way.
3rd Shot If you went the safer way, watch for the bunker towards the
middle left of the green. To the right is a water hazard so
keep your shot straight!
Green Mild to steep slopes, depending on where you land.
-------------
[ Hole No. 04 ] Par 4 (375 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can either hit the ball real short in which case, watch
for the rough and the bunker towards the right. If you hit
the ball too far, the waterfall/cliff may get in the way of
your second shot. If you go for the right, watch for the two
bunkers to the left and right. To the far left is a water
hazard as well. The fairway is narrow here so try to be as
accurate as possible. 14 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went the short route make sure you use one of the
right spins to get around the waterfall. It may not be
necessary however. Use your best judgement. After clearing
the waterfall, watch for the bunkers towards the top left
and right of the green as well as the bottom left corner.
If you went towards the right, watch for the bunkers at the
top as well as the bottom left and right. There is a tree
that may also get in the way of your view as well, but it
shouldn't pose a problem.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 05 ] Par 4 (436 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep it straight and you shouldn't have much of a problem.
If you hook it real bad, there are two bunkers to the left
of the fairway. 19 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Make sure to use enough power so that you don't end up in
the bunker hazard near the bottom of the green. There is
another small bunker to the bottom left of the green to
watch out for as well.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 06 ] Par 4 (438 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, make sure you're accurate with your
power as this little patch of fairway is surrounded by O.B
territory and a water hazard to the far right. If you go for
the right, watch for the bunker to the left if you hit it
short, and another bunker towards the top if you hit it too
strong. 8 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went for the left in the first shot, make sure you
clear the tree that's in the way. There is a bunker just to
the right of that as well. Two more bunkers towards the top
right and left should be taken note of as well. If you went
for the right, watch for the two bunkers at the bottom left
and right of the green and another one towards the top.
Green Mild to steep slopes, depending on where you land on.
-------------
[ Hole No. 07 ] Par 3 (170 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Make sure to compensate for the elevation change. There is a
water hazard up top if you hit it too far. Hit it too short
and you can end up O.B or in one of the bunkers located just
to the bottom right and left of the green. 10 yards up in
elevation to the pin.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 08 ] Par 5 (584 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, no real hazards are present unless
you hit it short and slice it - there is a small bunker. If
you go for the right, make sure you aim it correctly on the
narrow amount of fairway. Hit it too far and to the right
and you'll end up in a bunker. 31 yards down in elevation to
the pin.
-------------
[ Hole No. 09 ] Par 4 (411 yards)
-------------
1st Shot No real hazards. Just make sure to keep it as straight as
possible because the area you'll want to land is very, very
narrow. A little mistake can easily land you in the rough on
either side. 8.6 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunker near the bottom right of the green as
well as towards the middle left. Hook it badly and you may
even end up O.B
Green Gentle to steep slopes, depending on where you land.
-------------
[ Hole No. 10 ] Par 4 (394 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you use full power, make sure you aim it perfectly or
you'll easily get in the rough on the narrow fairway. If
you want to be safer, hit it a bit short on the wider part
of the fairway. Just be wary of the bunkers to the right of
the fairway. 19 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the two bunkers to the bottom left and right of
the green as well as towards the left.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 11 ] Par 4 (440 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, keep it straight to avoid the rough
and watch for the bunker to the right. If you go for the
right, just use lots of power to fly over the bunkers to the
right and left of the fairway. Make sure to line up your 2nd
shot as well because that lone tree can and will get in the
way. 2.1 yards up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Whichever way you went, make sure to compensate for the
elevation change. Watch for the tree at the base of the
green as well as the bunker just to the left of it. Two
other bunkers to watch for are at the top and top right of
the green.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 12 ] Par 4 (455 yards)
-------------
1st Shot No real hazards. Just keep an eye on the trees sticking out
in the middle of the fairway. 12 yards down in elevation to
the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunker at the bottom right of the green as
well as the cluster of trees and cactus right above it.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 13 ] Par 3 (192 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the water hazard if you hit it too short or too
far. There is also a good sized bunker that borders the
right side of the green. 17 yards down in elevation to the
pin.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 14 ] Par 5 (497 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the safe route towards the right, just make
sure you clear the gap and watch for the small bunker to
the left. You can easily make it by going straight though,
as long as you don't mess up horribly or have a very weak
character. If you go straight, just watch for the rough
and a small bunker to the right if you hit it short. If you
hit it real short, you'll fall off the course. 17 yards down
in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went the safe way, just watch out for the rough. If
you went straight, you can make it on the green. Just make
sure to clear the gap and watch for the bunkers located at
the bottom, left, and top right of the green. If you want to
play it safe, watch for the bunker right in the middle of
the fairway as well as one to the right of the fairway. This
part of the fairway gets a bit narrow as well. Hitting it
too strong may result in falling in the gap.
3rd Shot If you went the safe route, clear the gap and watch for the
bunkers at the top right, bottom, and left of the green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 15 ] Par 4 (407 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep the shot straight and a bit to the right. Going too
much to the right may result in hitting the rock formation.
If you stay too much in the middle or to the left, trees
and rock formations will get in the way for your second
shot. 7.5 yards down in elevation.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers at the bottom left and right of the
green. If you hit it too far and pass the green, there is
another bunker.
Green Mostly gentle but can get steep at the edges.
-------------
[ Hole No. 16 ] Par 3 (178 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Power control is important. If you hit it too short, you'll
hit a water hazard. Too strong and to the right will result
in a bunker hazard. There is another huge bunker to the left
of the green to watch out for as well. 25 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 17 ] Par 4 (488 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go towards the left, watch for the tree and bunker
right in front of it on the ball's decent. There is another
bunker to the far left as well. This fairway area is a bit
narrow. If you go towards the right, make sure you don't
go too far to the right or you'll end up hitting the trees.
Upon landing, you'll have to watch for the bunker to the
left as well. 11 yards down in elevation to the pin.
* Note * Nothing special happens if you try to aim for the
volcano.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers at the bottom corners of the green.
Green Combination of gentle, mild, and steep.
-------------
[ Hole No. 18 ] Par 5 (506 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the right, watch out for the bunkers to the
left of the fairway. Going straight is probably better as
there are no real hazards. If you power it a lot, watch
for the bunker to the right of the fairway. 1.2 yards down
in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went right, your next shot will be short. Watch for
the bunker to the right and to the top left. If you went
straight for the first shot, you can opt to go for the green
by going straight over the water. If you do, watch for the
bunkers at the bottom right and top left of the green. If
you want to play it safe, go to the right and watch for the
bunker towards the right of the fairway. Make sure you clear
this bunker or the tree and cactus may get in your way for
the next shot.
3rd Shot If you went the safe way for the first shot, then read above
for you options. If you didn't go for the green on the 2nd
shot, then watch out for the bunker at the base of the green
as well as the top. To the left of the green is a water
hazard.
Green Mild to steep slopes.

[ Course No. 04 ] Bagpipe Classic
###############################################################################
_______________________________________________________________________________
This course can be difficult due to the elevated greens and the bunkers which
are pits. If you get into a bunker at the edge, it will be a wall and you'll
have to hit it the opposite way to get out cleanly. The greens can get very
mild to steep here as well.
-------------
[ Hole No. 01 ] Par 4 (412 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Whichever side you decide to go, watch for the multiple
bunkers at the right, middle, and left of the fairway. 9.4
yards down in elevation.
2nd Shot Watch for the two small bunkers at the base of the green
and a medium size one towards the left.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 02 ] Par 4 (409 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can hit it short just before the bunkers or try to get
in between the bunkers. If you try to get in between, watch
for the small bunkers at the bottom, right, and left of
where you'll want to land. There is also a water hazard
towards the top not too far away. 0.7 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the huge water hazard towards the bottom of the
green. To the far left is a bunker and the same goes for the
far right.
Green Gentle to steep.
-------------
[ Hole No. 03 ] Par 4 (449 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can hit it short just before the trio of bunkers but
you'll just get a par so I won't cover that route. Aim
towards the right of the trio of bunkers instead. Watch
for the single bunker to the right of where you'll want to
land and try not to go too far or the cluster of trees may
get in the way for the second shot. 8.6 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Hit it nice and strong so that you clear the river hazard
just below the green. To the top left of the green is a
bunker to watch out for. The far right also has a bunker.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 04 ] Par 3 (174 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Near the bottom right is a large bunker to watch out for.
Towards the middle left is yet another bunker, but smaller
in size. 14 yards down in elevation to the pin.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 05 ] Par 5 (568 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you have three choices here. If you go left, you can
either land it just before the river hazard or right above
it. I wouldn't recommend going above it though. Aim just
below it and you'll be fine - no bunkers in sight. Or, you
can aim it towards the far right, in between the houses.
You'll need to aim your line just at the edge of the house
to the left and use a back right spin to make it curve. If
you perform it properly, you can land it on the fairway
away from the bunker to the right. 4.2 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went the left way, aim it for the fairway just before
the two bunkers to the top left and right, making sure to
stay away from there. If you went through the house, you can
make it on the green. Watch out for the bunker to the bottom
right of the green as well as further down to the left.
There is another one towards the top of the green.
3rd Shot If you went the safer way, watch out for the bunker to the
bottom right of the green as well as further down to the
left. There is another one towards the top of the green.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 06 ] Par 4 (378 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can aim it just above the two small bunkers if you opt
to go straight. Or you can go around the house using a back
right spin. Make sure you're accurate though because any
hook movement will most likely result in hitting the house.
If you go towards the left, watch for the bunker on just
before you land. And if you go too far, you'll end up in the
rough with a cluster of trees right in front of you for your
next shot. 2.1 yards up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers at the bottom right and left of the
green as well as the one towards the top left.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 07 ] Par 3 (202 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the bunker towards the top right and left of the
green. There is another bunker near the base of the green
to watch out for as well. 9.3 yards down in elevation to the
pin
Green Gentle to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 08 ] Par 4 (410 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, watch for the big bunker near the
bottom of the fairway of where you'll want to land. You
can also go straight, trying to land just to the left of
the trees. Watch out for the rough. 8.6 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went towards the left, watch out for the bunkers at
either side of the green as well as the bottom. If you hit
it real short, there's a river hazard. If you went straight
on the first shot, watch for the bunkers at the bottom left
and right of the bunker as well as the top.
Green Gentle to mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 09 ] Par 5 (537 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim to the left and watch out for the bunkers to the right
and left of where you'll want to land. You can get an Eagle
chance pretty easily if you land it.
2nd Shot Aim for the green and note the small elevation change. Watch
for the bunkers at the bottom and top left and right of the
green. If you hit it way short, there's a river hazard.
3rd Shot If you didn't go for the green, and did another short stroke
then just read the note above.
Green Gentle to very mild / steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 10 ] Par 4 (443 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, watch for the two bunkers to the
left of the fairway. There is also a river hazard to the
right. Note that this part of the fairway slopes toward
the river so it's easy to get into the rough. If you go for
the right, watch the bunker at the left and the other one
towards the top. 4.5 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch out for the bunkers towards the top and bottom left
of the green. If you went to the right on the first shot,
keep the tree in mind - there is bunker in front of it as
well.
Green Gentle to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 11 ] Par 5 (540 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim straight and watch for the bunker to the lower right
and top left. Go too far and you'll hit a water hazard. If
want an Eagle try, try to get it in between the two bunkers.
2.5 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you landed in between the two bunkers, you can go left
around the trees to get on the green. Use a back left spin
to curve around. If you went too far, getting an angle to
go on the green may be difficult. If you decide to go for
it, watch for the four bunkers - one to the top right and
left and the other two more towards the bottom left. If you
want to play it safe, you can aim to the big portion of
fairway just across the river, or try to aim in between the
two bunkers further up and to the left.
3rd Shot If you took the safer shot, watch out for the water hazard
if you hit it too short. Once past the river, watch for the
bunkers at the top left/right and bottom left/right of the
green.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 12 ] Par 4 (435 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim straight and you can go for either side of the river.
0.4 yards up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Note the elevation change and keep an eye on the two bunkers
towards the bottom right and left of the green.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 13 ] Par 3 (194 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the big bunkers towards the bottom and bottom
right of the green as well as the tree in between the two
bunkers. Towards the top left is another large bunker. 8.9
yards down in elevation to the pin.
Green Gentle to mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 14 ] Par 4 (444 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can either hit it straight and let it land just before
the bunker/water hazard or go towards the left. If you go
for the left, watch for the bunker to the left side of the
fariway. This fairway area is narrow. 0.4 yards up in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunker with a tree near the bottom of the
green. Two more bunkers are present towards the top/left
of the bunker. Further out towards the left, top, and right
of the green is a water hazard.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 15 ] Par 3 (169 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the two small/medium bunkers towards the bottom
of the green. If you hit it too far, you can easily end up
O.B. 8.1 yards up in elevation to the pin.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 16 ] Par 4 (445 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim towards the left, just under the second bunker. Keep it
fairly straight to avoid the rough. Elevation is flat.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers towards the top and bottom left of the
green as well as the right. There is another bunker further
down towards the left as well.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 17 ] Par 5 (524 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim left just past the final bunker near the water. Don't go
too far or you'll end up O.B. If you want to play it safe,
head straight and stay clear of the bunkers to the right,
left, and top left.
2nd Shot If you went left for the first shot, you can go for the
green. Make sure you clear the forest area and watch for the
bunkers twoards the bottom left and right of the green. Up
top is another bunker, slightly hidden from view. If you
went the safe way, aim towards of the end of this stretch of
fairway. Watch out for the two bunkers to the left at the
end of the fairway.
3rd Shot If you went the safe way, then watch out for the bunkers
which are located to the top, bottom right, and bottom left
of the green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 18 ] Par 4 (464 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim to the left, just in between the two top bunkers. A bit
to the right of the last bunker in the series is ideal so
that you can set up the next shot. 3 yards down in elevation
to the pin.
2nd Shot If you hit the first shot correctly, you can not go in
between the two parts of the house. Watch out for the bunker
at the bottom of the green as well as the bigger one at the
the top.
Green Mild to steep slopes.

_______________________________________________________________________________
This course is extremely difficult. High wind speeds. Plenty of bunker and tree
hazards. Water hazards. Difficult to read greens. It has it all. Accuracy and
good power control is very important here if you want to stand a chance. You
have to be good at reading the winds and using the spins or you'll have a hard
time getting even a Par.
-------------
[ Hole No. 01 ] Par 4 (438 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the two bunkers to the right and the one
bunker to the left. If you go too much to the left, a tree
may block your second shot. 11 yards down in elevation to
the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers at the top and bottom right of the
green. There is another bunker to the left. Make sure you
clear the water hazard as well.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 02 ] Par 5 (558 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can either hit it short to where the fairway begins to
curve right, or land in the small area where the curve leads
to. Watch out for the bunker on the right though, and a tree
to the left can block your second shot. 19 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you have enough power, you can try to make it on the
green. It'll be difficult though, with the high winds that
are most likely present. If you do go for the green, watch
out for the bunker to the bottom left, and bottom right,
which has a tree in it. There is another bunker at the top.
If you decide to hit it short, watch for the two bunkers to
the right of the fairway. To the left, is a little rough
section that juts out, and has a tree in it.
3rd Shot Watch for the bunkers to the bottom left and right, as well
as the top. There is a tree in the bottom right bunkers.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 03 ] Par 4 (435 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Clear the water hazard and watch out for the bunker to the
left. You'll want to get to the left as much as possible
though. The ball will roll to the right, where trees will
block your second shot. If you have power, use it to get
past the trees. 0.1 yard up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the extremely long stretch of bunker to the right
of the fairway and to the right of the green. There is
another bunker to the bottom left of the green to watch out
for as well.
Green Very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 04 ] Par 3 (186 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the two bunkers to the bottom left and right of
the green. There is another bunker up towards the top as
well. In between the two bunkers at the bottom is a tree
that can get in the way as well, if you're not careful. 4.9
yards down in elevation to the pin.
Green Gentle to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 05 ] Par 4 (393 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the first cluster of trees to the right of the
fairway. Just past it, watch for the bunker to the left and
the bunker to the right. To the left of the second bunker is
a tree that may get in the way as well. 13 yards up in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Look out for the huge bunker hazard completely bordering the
bottom of the green. To the left and right of the bunkers
are some trees you might want to keep an eye on as well.
Green Very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 06 ] Par 3 (199 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the three bunkers surrounding the green at the top
right, bottom right, and bottom left. If you're aiming to
the far right to counteract the wind, watch out for the tree
right in front of you at the tee off area. 17 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
Green Very mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 07 ] Par 4 (406 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can either hit it short, to the right, where you'll need
to watch out for the bunker on the left. Or you can aim for
the narrow fairway area where it begins to curve to the left.
Watch out for the bunker on the right though, and the rough.
24 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the lone bunker to the left of the green.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 08 ] Par 5 (565 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim straight, over the water hazard and the two bunkers.
Look out for the bunker to the left of where you'll want to
land. 8.8 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot You can try to make it to the green with a spin, but I
wouldn't recommend it. Just watch out for the trees which
you'll most likely hit, and the bunkers at the left corners
and bottom right corner of the green. I would play it safe
and hit for the end of the fairway just before it curves to
the left. Watch out for the bunker to the left here.
3rd Shot If you played it safe, look out for the bunkers at the top
left and right corners of the green, as well as the bottom
left.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 09 ] Par 4 (438 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim for the end of the fairway, just before it curves to the
right. Keep it left, and look out for the bunker on the
right as well as the tree which may block your second shot
if you're not careful. 8.3 yards down in elevation to the
pin.
2nd Shot Watch out for the tree that may be in your line of shot. As
you near the green, look out for the bunkers at the bottom
corners of the green, as well as the top right of the green.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 10 ] Par 4 (468 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the two bunkers on the right, and the one
bunker to the left. You'll need to keep an eye on the tree
to the left as well, since it can block your second shot if
you're not careful. 10 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Make sure to use a spin to get around the tree if it's in
your way. Look out for the tree near the green that can get
in the way as well. Bunker hazards are found at the bottom
corners of the green, as well as the top left corner.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 11 ] Par 4 (431 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim a bit to the left and watch out for the bunker towards
the left of the fairway, where it begins to curve right. 5.2
yards up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the huge water hazard to the left of the green.
There is a tree by this water hazard that may get in the way
as well, so keep an eye on it.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 12 ] Par 3 (193 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the water hazard lining the top right, right,
and the bottom of the green. Any misjudgement in power and
or accuracy will cost you. 14 yards down in elevation to the
pin.
Green Very mild to very steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 13 ] Par 4 (359 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the large water hazard to the right. Further up is
a bunker to look out for as well. You need to keep the ball
a bit to the right here, or the tree to the left will get in
the way of your second shot. 11 yards down in elevation to
the pin.
2nd Shot Watch out for the tree, and the 4 bunkers that are basically
at the four corners of the green.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 14 ] Par 4 (444 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the 4 bunkers - two to the left, two to the
right. Keep an eye on the tree in the middle of the fairway
as well so that it won't get in the way of your second shot.
4.4 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Keep an eye on the two bunkers at the bottom corners of the
green as well as another one up towards the top.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 15 ] Par 5 (525 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Use a back left spin to get around the trees and have the
ball curve where the fairway starts to curve. Be wary of the
two bunkers here though. 31 yards down in elevation to the
pin.
2nd Shot If you want to go for the green, watch out for the bunkers
at the left of the green (two of them), as well as the
bunker to the right. Hit it too far, and there's a water
hazard bordering the top of the green. If you want to play
it safe, hit the ball to the fairway just before it gets
narrow and becomes the green.
3rd Shot Don't use too much power, or you'll roll into the water
hazard up top. Two bunkers to the left, and one to the right
should be taken note of as well.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 16 ] Par 3 (195 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Water hazard surrounds the top, left, and bottom of the
green. Towards the right is a bunker. Accuracy is important,
unless you want a hazard penalty! 22 yards down in elevation
to the pin.
Green Gentle to very mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 17 ] Par 4 (437 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the two bunkers on either side of the fairway. The
fairway slopes to the right here so make sure you don't roll
into the water hazard to the right. 17 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot There is a water hazard to the right, as well as two bunkers
that are to the top and bottom left of the green.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 18 ] Par 5 (564 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the water hazard to the left of where you'll
want to land. Aim toward the trees in front of you and spin
the ball around. Spin it too much, and you may end up in a
bunker, which is located to the right. Keep an eye on the
wind here as well. It may be difficult to land cleanly here.
Or you could just hit it real short to the end of the
fairway just before it curves to the right. 21 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you hit it short, keep an eye on the trees and as long as
you don't hit them, you should be fine. No real hazards. If
you're by the water hazard, you can go for the green if you
like. Watch for the trees and the two bunkers towards the
bottom and top of the green. Or you can play it safe and
hit the ball to the end of the fairway before it curves to
the left.
3rd Shot If you've played it safe, watch for the two bunkers to the
bottom left and right of the green. They're deep and hard to
get out of, so make sure you land on the green.
Green Gentle slopes with a hill on the edge with very mild slopes.

You won't notice too much of elevation changes on this course. However, there
are plenty of bunker hazards and water hazards that will catch your attention.
If you're going for a good score, accuracy is important. The green can vary
from easy to a bit difficult but shouldn't pose too much of a problem. Just
stay out of the many hazards and you'll get a decent score.
-------------
[ Hole No. 01 ] Par 4 (409 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the two bunkers on the opposite ends of the
fairway. The bigger one at the top right is easier to roll
into. 23 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch out for the water hazard bordering the top of the
green here. Also, there is a bunker to the left part of the
green to look out for as well. The green is pretty small
here
Green Gentle slopes which can get steep at the edge.
-------------
[ Hole No. 02 ] Par 4 (438 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go towards the left, there are no hazards at all. If
you want, you can go towards the right, to the right of the
tower. There are no real hazards this way as well, just a
narrow fairway to land on. 15 yards down in elevation to the
pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunker located at the bottom left of the
green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 03 ] Par 5 (531 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim straight over the red tree and watch out for the three
consecutive bunkers on the left side of the fairway as well

towards the top. Try to stay to the left side of the
fairway to set up for the next shot. 29 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot You should be able to make it on the green here if the wind
is in your favor. If you're going for the green, watch out
for the bunkers surrounding the green at the top and bottom
right as well as the lower left. If you're going for the
safer shot, make it to the end of the fairway you're on and
just take note of the two bunkers on the right hand side.
3rd Shot If you went for the safer route, then watch out for the
bunkers located at the top and bottom right of the green as
well as the lower left of the green.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.

mistake here. 9.8 yards down in elevation to the pin.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 05 ] Par 4 (396 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you want to go the safer way, hit it just to the left of
the larger bunker towards the right. There is smaller
bunker just below that as well as to the far left of that
and another one towards the top. Or you can aim for the
fairway just above the large bunker towards the right of the
fairway. Whichever way you go, take note of the 4 bunkers

pin.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 07 ] Par 5 (506 yards)

hazards. Or you can a little to the right and aim for the
part of the fairway where it gets a bit narrow. Watch for
the bunkers to the left and right of the fairway here. 0.4
yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went straight and short, watch for the bunkers to
the left and right of the fairway. If you went towards the
right, you can go for green, in which case you'll want to
look out for the bunkers at the lower right of the green as
well as towards the left and top left. If you want to play
it safe, you can hit it a bit to the right where you'll want
to watch out for the bunker on the right, if you hit it too
short and slice it a bit.
3rd Shot If you played it safe, watch for the bunkers located at the
bottom right, top left, and left of the green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.

the end of the fairway just before it becomes the green.
3rd Shot Watch for the bunker at the bottom and top left.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 15 ] Par 4 (467 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can either aim straight, if you have power, or to the
right. Either way, no hazards to worry about. Just land on
the fairway. 27 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the water hazard towards the top of the green as
well as the arrow shaped bunkers on either side of the
heart shaped green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 16 ] Par 3 (196 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Maintain accuracy so that you won't end up in the sand which
surrounds the green. There is a tree to the right, but it
shouldn't pose a problem. 22 yards down in elevation to the
pin.
Green Gentle to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 17 ] Par 4 (482 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim straight, over the water, and watch out for the bunker
on the left and the top right of where you'll want to land.
12 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Curve it around the structure and watch out for the water
hazard which borders the right side of the green. There are
two bunkers, one to the top and one to the bottom to look
out for as well.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 18 ] Par 5 (555 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can go three ways. If you aim straight, inside the
housing structure, watch out for the water hazard to the
left and the bunker further up. If you go in the middle,
keep it to the left, and watch out for the water hazard on
the right. Or if you go towards the right, make sure you
line up your second shot so that the tree doesn't get in
the way. The middle path is the safer shot. 1.4 yards down
in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went into the housing structure, watch for the
water hazard to the bottom and left. There are two bunkers
to the top and bottom left as well. If you went in the
middle, clear the housing structure and land on the fairway
just past where the fairway curves to the left, or before
it. If you went to the right, you can go for the green or
just below it. Watch for the water hazard on the left, and
the two bunkers at top corners of the green. There is yet
another bunker to the right.
3rd Shot Watch for the bunkers at the top corners of the green, and
the water hazard to the left.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.

[ Course No. 08 ] Wild Green C.C.
###############################################################################
_______________________________________________________________________________
This course can be difficult due to the many hazards and weird angles you'll
have to hit at. The greens are difficult here as well unless you get pretty
close to the pin. Greens surrounded by water is common too as well as plenty
-- and I mean plenty of bunkers.
-------------
[ Hole No. 01 ] Par 4 (432 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep it straight and a bit to the left so you don't roll
down into the bunker on the right. Go to far the left and
there's another bunker. If your golfer doesn't have enough
power, keep it below the dirt path and take note of the
bunker on the right. 7.9 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers towards the left and right of the
green as well as a smaller one towards the top.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 02 ] Par 3 (201 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Hit it short and you'll end up in the water hazard. At the
bottom left is a bunker to look out for as well. Towards
the top and right of the green is a long stretch of bunker.
16 yards down in elevation to the pin.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 03 ] Par 5 (545 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you want to go for an Eagle shot, aim in between the two
bunkers towards the top. If you want to play it safe, go
towards the left and bypass the cluster of bunkers. 26 yards
down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went for the Eagle, then you can hit your ball
through the trees. Watch out for the large water hazard
bordering the bottom portion of the green and the bunker
towards the top left. If you went for the safe shot, keep
your stroke nice and short and watch for the bunker towards
the top right.
3rd Shot If you went for the safe shot, then watch out for the large
water hazard bordering the lower portion of the green. There
is a bunker to the left side of the green as well.
Green Mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 04 ] Par 4 (441 yards)
-------------
1st Shot There are several ways to do the first shot. You can aim
straight and hit it short, aim right, hit it short, and
curve it around the tree, or aim right and full power it.
Whatever method you decide watch for the bunkers and make
sure you don't fall into the gorge. 8.6 yards down in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went straight, you should be able to hit the ball
over the little mountain area and onto the green. Watch for
the bunkers at the middle top and bottom of the green as
well as two more towards the right. If you went the other
way, watch for the same bunkers as well.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 05 ] Par 4 (353 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can aim it straight and short where you'll have to watch
for the two bunkers towards the left side. Or you can aim
towards the left past all the bunkers. Just watch out for
the rough. 26 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunker towards the bottom of the green as well
as the water hazard bordering the top and right.
Green Gentle to mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 06 ] Par 3 (165 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the water hazard bordering the complete bottom of
the green as well as bit of the right. Go too far and to
the right and you'll end up in a bunker. To the left of the
green is yet another bunker. 6.7 yards up in elevation to
the pin.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 07 ] Par 4 (452 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, there are no real hazards unless
you hit it real short where there is a bunker to the left.
If you go straight, watch for the two bunkers to the right
of the fairway. 7.4 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers to the right, top left, and bottom of
the green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 08 ] Par 4 (470 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Unless you have a lot of power (up to 290 yards) don't try
to go for the green. Even if it looks like you might make it
you have to remember that the green is elevated! Go for the
right instead and watch for the bunkers towards the right
of the fairway. 14 yards up in elevation.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers on either side of the green. To the
left is O.B territory.
Green Mild to very steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 09 ] Par 5 (530 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Go past the river hazard and watch for the bunker to the
left. If you don't have enough power, hit it just below
the river hazard and watch for the bunker on the right. 23
yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you hit past the river, then you can make it on the green
as long as the tree isn't in your way. Watch for the river
hazard just below the green and the bunker hazards bordering
the top, top left, and top right of the green. If you want
to play it safe, hit it short onto the large part of the
fairway where there are no hazards.
3rd Shot If you played it safe, watch for the water hazard below the
green and the bunkers at the top left, top, and top right
of the green.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 10 ] Par 4 (349 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Hit it short, to the left (don't pass the tree). If you hit
it real strong, there is a cluster of bunkers you need to
watch out for. 0.8 yards up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the two bunkers at the bottom corners of the green
and keep an eye on the water hazard bordering the top part
of the green.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 11 ] Par 4 (417 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep it fairly straight and watch for the water hazards on
either side of the fairway. There are also two bunkers to
the right of the fairway, just inside the water hazard. 5.2
yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunkers at the bottom, left, and top portion
of the green.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 12 ] Par 3 (187 yards)
-------------
1st Shot The green is on an island so watch for the water hazard all
around. There is also a large bunker near the bottom of the
bunker as well. 17 yards down in elevation to the pin.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 13 ] Par 4 (458 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, watch the bunker to the right of
the fairway. If you go right, watch for the bunkers on both
sides of the fairway. 20 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the water hazard bordering the left side of the
green. Towards the lower right is a bunker accompanied by
another one just below it. Towards the top is a bigger
bunker to watch out for.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 14 ] Par 4 (428 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the bunker to the left and the two bunkers to the
right of the fairway. 37 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Look out for the large tower in your way and make sure you
use a spin to get around it. There are bunkers surrounding
the green towards the bottom, left and top right to look
out for when you land.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 15 ] Par 5 (565 yards)
-------------
1st Shot I wouldn't recommend going for the right since the landing
space is extremely small. Go for the left and watch out for
the three bunkers to the left and the one bunker to the
lower right. 23 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot You could try to make it on the green here. Just watch for
the water hazard bordering the lower part of the green and
be wary of the bunker to the top right and left as well. If
you want the safer shot, hit it to the large area of the
fairway before it curves left. Keep it to the right so that
the tree won't get in the way on your next shot.
3rd Shot If you went the safe way, watch for the water hazard on
on the bottom part of the green. Towards the top right and
left are some small bunkers.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 16 ] Par 4 (374 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Do not hit it as far as you can! Hit the ball just to the
right of the first bunker. If you hit the ball too far up
you'll hit the statue. 11 yards down in elevation.
2nd Shot If you hit it correctly on the first shot, you can hit your
next shot over the statue. Watch out for the bunkers located
at the bottom corners of the green as well as another one
towards the top left.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 17 ] Par 3 (183 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep an eye out on the pillars as they can easily get in the
way of your shot. There is a bunker at the bottom part of
the green as well. Slice it too much and another bunker is
located to the right of the green. 5.5 yards up in elevation
to the pin.
Green Mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 18 ] Par 5 (532 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the two bunkers to the left of the fairway and
keep an eye on the O.B territory to the right. Don't get it
too close to the right if you want a chance for the Eagle.
1 yard up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you want to go for the Eagle, use a back right spin to
(if necessary) to get on the green. Watch for the water
hazard surrounding the top, right, and bottom of the green.
To the top and bottom left are some bunkers as well. This
shot can be pretty risky. If you want to play it safe, aim
towards the right past the bunker. Be sure to line up your
next shot though so the tree won't get in the way.
3rd Shot If you played it safe, watch for the water hazard that
borders the left, right, and bottom of the green. Towards
the top left and right are some bunkers.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.

[ Course No. 09 ] Silk Road Classic
###############################################################################
_______________________________________________________________________________
This course has many hazards all over each hole. There are plenty of obstacles
to make for difficult shots and there are "island" fairways which force you
to be pretty accurate with your shot. The green is not too difficult however
and there arent too many bunkers around the green.
-------------
[ Hole No. 01 ] Par 4 (357 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can either go to the right or left - either way, watch
for the bunker right in the middle of the fairway. 14 yards
down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Just for the water hazard located just below the green.
Green Gentle slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 02 ] Par 3 (172 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the water hazard surrounding the top right, right,
and bottom of the green. Towards the bottom left is a bunker
to keep an eye on as well. 10 yards down in elevation to the
pin.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 03 ] Par 4 (360 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep it fairly straight and watch out for the building to
the right. Once past the building, look out for the the
patch of rough with a tree in it to the left of where you'll
want to land. 0.5 yards up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunker to the bottom left of the green.
Green Gentle to mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 04 ] Par 4 (404 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep it straight, just to the right of the Great Wall. No
real hazards unless you hit it real short - there is a
bunker to the left and right. 1.9 yards up in elevation to
the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunker to the lower right of the green.
Green Mild to slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 05 ] Par 5 (520 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you want to try for an Eagle, aim towards the part of
the fairway just before it juts to the right into a small
peninsula like shape. If you want to play it safe, aim
towards that peninsula shaped area of fairway. 27 yards
down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went for the Eagle shot, you can blast the ball
through the trees. Watch for the water hazard surrounding
the top, right, and bottom of the green. There is also a
bunker to the immediate right of the green. If you went for
the safe shot, hit it short to the next patch of fairway.
No hazards here
3rd Shot If you went for the safe shot, watch for the water hazard
surrounding the top, right, and bottom of the green as well
as the bunker to the immediate right of the green.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 06 ] Par 4 (424 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim to the end of the first stretch of fairway. Don't go
too far or you can easily roll into O.B territory. 8.1
yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the bunker to the right of the green as well as
the water hazard lining the top of the green.
Green Gentle to mild to very steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 07 ] Par 5 (546 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep it straight and keep an eye on the lone bunker to the
right. Make sure you don't hook it or you can end up in O.B
territory. Or you can go for the left (Eagle chance) and
watch out for the bunker to the right. 1.3 yards up in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went straight, it'll be hard to go for the green.
Instead, keep it short and go for the end of the stretch of
fairway you're on. Keep an eye on the bunker to the right
of the fairway as well. If you went left, then go for the
green and watch for the bunker to the left. O.B lines the
right side as well.
3rd Shot If you went straight for your first shot, then just watch
out for the bunker to the left. To the right is O.B as well.
Green Gentle to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 08 ] Par 4 (400 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the water hazard in the middle. If you opt
to go for the right, watch out for the bunker to the
right of the water. The left is the safer bet. 32 yards
down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch out for the water hazard in front of the green.
Towards the back, watch out for another bunker.
Green Slopes are gentle.
-------------
[ Hole No. 09 ] Par 3 (178 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the bunker towards the back left of the
green. 18 yards down for elevation.
Green Slopes are gentle, but gets a bit steeper toward the
right side.
------------
[ Hole No. 10 ] Par 5 (501 yards)
------------
1st Shot Try not to aim for the second part of the fairway
unless your golfer has lots of power and the wind is
in your favor. Keep it short and watch out for the
river hazard. Try to stay to the left of the fairway
to set up a for a clean 2nd shot. 22 yards down for
elevation.
2nd Shot Watch out for the bunkers on the left side of the
fairway. Again, unless you have a lot of power, try not
to aim for the third fairway. You'll need to use a back
left spin if you want to try to make it on there.
3rd Shot Watch out for the bunkers just before the green that are
on the left and ride sides. There is another bunker to
watch out for on the back left. To the far right is a
water hazard.
Green Slopes are gentle.
-------------
[ Hole No. 11 ] Par 4 (401 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim for the first island. It may seem hard due to the
surrounding water hazard, but it's not too bad. You can
aim it toward the left for a bit more room. 17 yards down
for elevation.
2nd Shot Watch out for the two bunkers surrounding the green on
the left hand side.
Green Slopes are gentle.
-------------
[ Hole No. 12 ] Par 3 (153 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the bunker at the bottom right of the
green. 9.5 yards up for elevation.
Green Slopes are mild but not too bad.
-------------
[ Hole No. 13 ] Par 4 (433 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, just watch out for the cliff on
the right side. If you go for the right, watch out for
the cliff on the left, and a bunker to the right. 37
yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot There are three bunkers surrounding the green to look out
for. They are located at the top right, bottom right, and
bottom left of the green.
Green Slopes are steep toward the top right. The rest of the
green is gentle to mild.
-------------
[ Hole No. 14 ] Par 5 (510 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the bunker to the right. 16 yards down for
elevation.
2nd Shot You can try to make it on the green using a back right
spin to go around the rock formation, but it's difficult.
If you go for a safe 2nd shot, just watch out for the
trees. If you want to go for the green, read below.
3rd Shot Watch out for the two bunkers at the bottom left and
right of the green.
Green Slopes are mild and can get a bit steep at the edges.
-------------
[ Hole No. 15 ] Par 4 (427 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the right, watch out for the water hazard
toward the left side. If you go straight, watch out for
the water hazard just before the fairway starts, and
keep an eye on the bunker to the left. 18 yards down in
elevation.
2nd Shot Watch out for the bunkers on either side of the green,
near the bottom.
Green Mostly flat, gentle slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 16 ] Par 4 (387 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim for the first batch of fairway since the second one
is very small. Just stay near the right so the trees
won't get in the way on your second shot. 12 yards down
in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch out for the multiple bunkers at the top left, left
hand side, and towards the bottom right. If you fall way
too short, you'll fall off the course as well.
Green Mostly flat, gentle slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 17 ] Par 3 (202 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch out for the bunker at the base of the green. There
is another one to the top left as well. If you overshoot
the green, there's a water hazard waiting for you. 22
yards down in elevation.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 18 ] Par 4 (397 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, watch out for the small bunker
to the left of the fairway. The right side also has a
bunker, but to the top right of the fairway. 19 yards
down in elevation.
2nd Shot Watch out for the big tree at the base of the green. Keep
an eye on the bunker to the right of the biggest part of
the green as well. There's another small bunker nearby
but it shouldn't be a real hazard. There's little room
for error here so make sure you don't fly off the course.
Green Mostly gentle slopes.

###############################################################################
[ Course No. 10 ] Blue Lagoon C.C.
###############################################################################
_______________________________________________________________________________
This course features plenty of bunker hazards as well as several greens with
water hazards close by. The fairways are usually wide enough but on some holes,
it can get narrow. The green varies a lot from gentle to steep, depending on
where you land. Getting good green position is important.
-------------
[ Hole No. 01 ] Par 4 (443 yards)
-------------
1st Shot You can either clear the dirt path, or aim below it. If you
aim over it, watch out for the two bunkers on either side
of the fairway. 8.2 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the water hazard to the left side of the green.
There are two bunkers to watch out for - one at the top
middle and another at the bottom right.
Green Gentle to very mild slopes. Steeper at the edges.
-------------
[ Hole No. 02 ] Par 3 (140 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Hit it way short or too much to the right and you can easily
end up in a water hazard. Watch for the tree on the left
side of the green as well, since the ball can hit it on the
way down. There is also a bunker that borders the top of the
green. 4.7 yards down in elevation to the pin.
Green Gentle to mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 03 ] Par 4 (427 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Hit it short, just below the little rough area in the middle
of the fairway. If you hit it too much to the inside, you
may end up hitting the cliff on the second shot. 1.8 yards
up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Keep the shot fairly straight since going too much to the
right will have you fall off the course, basically making it
impossible to reach the green unless you backtrack. There
is a bunker on the right side of the green along with a tree
right below it another bunker to the bottom left. Go too
far, and you'll end up off the course as well.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 04 ] Par 5 (589 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go for the left, watch out for the trees. And when
you land, keep an eye on the bunker to the left of the
fairway. If you go for the right, you can make it safely
just below the dirt path. If you go past it, watch for the
bunker on the right. If you're going for the right, it's
better to try for a birdie try. Elevation is flat.
2nd Shot If you went to the left, you can try for the green. There is
a bunker to the top right of the green, as well as another
one further down at the base of the green. If you go for
the patch of fairway below the green, keep it accurate or
you'll fall off the course. That same bunker at the bottom
of the green can get in the way as well if you hit it too
far. If you went to the right, just hit it to the end of
the fairway, before it curves to the left. Watch out for the
bunker on the left of the fairway as well.
3rd Shot If you went to the right, watch for the bunkers at the
bottom right and left of the green. There is also a tree at
the bottom left that may get in the way. If you hit it too
far, you'll fall off the course.
Green Gentle to mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 05 ] Par 4 (462 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go to straight, watch for the bunkers at the left
and top right of the fairway. If you go toward the right,
keep it fairly straight and use precise power or you'll
roll into the rough. If you hit it too short, it's a water
hazard. Too much to the left or right and you may end up in
a bunker. 13 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Look out for the two bunkers at the middle top and bottom
of the green.
Green Gentle to very mild slopes. Steeper near some edges.
-------------
[ Hole No. 06 ] Par 4 (371 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go straight, keep it short, just to the left of the
second pair of trees near the middle of the fairway. If you
go for the island toward the right, make sure you're very
accurate with the shot, or you'll easily fall off into the
water. 5.1 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went straight and short, make sure the trees aren't
in your way. Look out for the rock formations towards the
bottom left of the green as well as a bunker right in front
of it, and two trees to the lower right of the green. If you
went for the island, watch for the bunker to the left of the
green. The green is on an island so obviously too much to
one side will end up in a water hazard. There is some sand
that can save you though.
Green Gentle to mild to very steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 07 ] Par 4 (399 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim past the bunker on the right of the fairway and look out
for the rough on the left hand side of where you'll want to
eventually land. 17 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch for the water hazard towards the right of the green.
Too much to the left will get you into O.B territory.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 08 ] Par 5 (507 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go straight, under the waterfall, make sure you use
enough power and watch out for the three bunkers to the left
of where you'll land. If you go for the left, watch out for
the bunker on the left. Don't go too far or you'll end up in
the rough. 9.3 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you went under the waterfall, make sure you clear the
cluster of trees if you're going for the green. There are
two bunkers at the base of the green, another one towards
the left, and more more up top. If you want to play it safe,
aim for the end of the stretch of fairway you're on. If you
went to the left, and you're going for the green, watch for
the two bunkers to the bottom right of the green, as well
as another one at the bottom left. There is another bunker
up top. If you're playing it safe, just aim for the end of
the fairway you're on.
3rd Shot If you went the safe way, watch out for the bunkers at the
bottom left and right of the green and another one up top.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 09 ] Par 3 (193 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the two bunkers to the left of the green, one up
top and one at the bottom. There is also a tree in between
these two bunkers that your ball can hit on the way down
if you're not careful. 7.9 yards down in elevation to the
pin.
Green Gentle to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 10 ] Par 4 (388 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim straight over the first bunker. When you land, watch out
for the bunker to the left and the two bunkers to the right
of the fairway. 18 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch out for the two bunkers on the left side of the green.
There are plenty of trees and bushes on this side as well.
There is another small bunker towards the bottom left of the
green to look out for as well.
Green Gentle to mild slopes. Steeper slopes towards the top.
-------------
[ Hole No. 11 ] Par 4 (357 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you toward the right a little, watch out for the two
bunkers on either side of the fairway. The landing area is
fairly big so it shouldn't be a problem. If you aim for the
left, watch out for the bunkers at the top left and right
of the fairway where the ball will most likely land. If you
get too inside to the right, a tree may get in the way for
your next shot. 0.3 yards up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Whichever way you went, there are sand traps and O.B
territory surrounding the green. Be accurate with your power
and you should be fine.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 12 ] Par 4 (401 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Keep the shot fairly straight as the fairway gets narrow.
Or you hit it a bit short on the wider part of the fairway.
6.2 yards up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Watch out for the bunker bordering the bottom left corner
of the green. Two more bunkers, one up top and another to
the right should be taken note of as well.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 13 ] Par 3 (213 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you hit it too short, you'll end up in a water hazard. To
the far left and right of the green are some bunkers. Up
top, towards the left is another bunker to watch out for. 21
yards down in elevation.
Green Gentle to mild to steep slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 14 ] Par 4 (425 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Aim to the left, just between the two masts on the old boat.
Make sure to adjust your power so that you don't fly off the
course. If you want to go straight instead, make sure you're
accurate and stay away from the left side since there is a
bunker there. 6.1 yards down in elevation.
2nd Shot If you went to the left, watch out for the bunkers to the
top right and bottom/bottom right of the green. Another
bunker hazard is toward the left of the green. Hit it too
far and you'll end up off the course. If you went straight
instead, then watch out for the bunkers to the bottom right
and left of the green as well as towards the top.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 15 ] Par 5 (524 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you want to go for an Eagle, aim towards the left, just
to the right of the cliff. Use a back right spin to get
around it. Watch for the bunker if you hit it too softly
or the water hazard if you hit it too strong. If you want
to play it safe, aim towards the part of the fairway just
before it curves to the left. 14 yards down in elevation to
the pin.
2nd Shot If you're going for the Eagle putt, watch out for the big
water hazard towards the bottom/bottom left of the green.
Towards the far left is a bunker. Two other bunkers are
located at the top right of the green. If you played it
safe, then you can either hit the ball just below the
water hazard or right above it. If you aim short, watch out
for the bunker at the bottom. If you aim farther, watch out
for the bunker up at the top.
3rd Shot If you played it safe, then watch out for the water hazard
toward the bottom/bottom left of the green. There are some
bunkers toward the left, and top right of the green as well.
Green Gentle to mild to steep slopes on the edges.
-------------
[ Hole No. 16 ] Par 4 (413 yards)
-------------
1st Shot If you go to the left, make sure you're accurate or you'll
easily fall off the island and get a water hazard. If you
opt for the right, watch for the bunker to the left of the
fairway. Make sure you hit it strong enough to clear the
rock for the second shot - but don't hit it too strong that
you can't get a clear shot due to the rocks on the right
side. 21 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot Whichever way you went for the first shot, watch out for
the large bunkers located at the top, as well as the bottom
left and right of the green.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 17 ] Par 3 (178 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Watch for the water hazards if you hit it either too short
or too far. Just above the top left and right of the green
are some bunkers as well. 12 yards down in elevation to the
pin.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 18 ] Par 5 (566 yards)
-------------
1st Shot Hit it straight, over the two trees, and land in between
the two bunkers to the top left and bottom right of where
you want to land. 26 yards down in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you can get a clear line around the trees, you can aim
for the green. Watch for the water hazard that borders the
lower portion of the green if you hit it too short. Bunkers
at the left, right, and top are also present. If you want to
play it safe, you can aim it to the right at the end of the
fairway just before it turns 90 degrees to the left.
3rd Shot If you played it safe, watch out for the water hazard at the
bottom left of the green. There are bunkers at the top left
and right as well to look out for.
Green Gentle to mild slopes.

green.
Green Gentle slopes.
-------------
[ Hole No. 10 ] Par 4 (409 yards)

the green.
Green Gentle to semi-mild slopes.

bottom right.
Green Gentle to semi-mild slopes.

-------------
1st Shot Keep it straight and there are no hazards. 6.5 yards down in

-------------
1st Shot Aim straight and stay clear of the bunker to the right side
of the fairway and the tree to the left. 3.1 yards up in
elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you're going for the green, there's only one bunker to
the bottom left of the green to look out for. Other than
that, you can just aim for the end of this stretch of
fairway that you're on. There are no other hazards.
3rd Shot The bunker to the bottom left of the green shouldn't pose a
problem. Just don't hook it real badly.
Green Gentle to semi-mild slopes.

-------------
1st Shot Watch for the water hazard bordering the bottom and left
side of the green. Up top and also to the right of the green

Green Mild slopes.

away from the right since there are two bunkers over to that
side. 25 yards up in elevation to the pin.
2nd Shot If you have enough power, you can try for the green. The
main bunkers to watch out for are to the bottom left and
right of the green. Or just play it safe and land just above
the first bunker to the left.
3rd Shot If you played it safe, watch for the bunkers to the bottom
left and right of the green. The other small bunker to the
middle left of the green shouldn't be a problem.
Green Mild to very mild slopes.

the green. There are two more bunkers bordering the top left
left of the green as well.

10. POINTS ________________________________________ (.23Z) |
_____________________________/ \_______|
When you play in the tournament you'll have the ability to score points. Here
is a basic list of points you can achieve in the game.
----
MAIN
----
Albatross : 500 points
Hole-in-One : 400 points
Eagle : 300 points
Birdie : 200 points
Par : 100 points
Bogey, etc. : 0 points
--------
NEAR PIN
--------
0.1m-0.9m : 50 points
1.0m-1.9m : 40 points
2.0m-2.9m : 30 points
3.0m-3.9m : 20 points
On Green 4.0m+
(for Birdie try): 10 points
On Green
(for Eagle try) : 50 points
---------
CHIP-IN's
---------
Chip-in's close to the green usually add 50 points. But depending on which
shot you're on (Eagle/Birdie/Par) the points can be higher. For longer distance
chip-in's, the points will vary from 50 points to over 100 points. Originally,
I had thought it was the distance (112 yards = 112 points) but it didn't turn
out to be true.
For all the points above, remember that they can be added to each other. For
example, if you get on the green in 2 shots on a Par 5 and get 0.2m to the pin,
you'll get 50 points for being on the green in 2 shots, and another 50 points
for being close to the pin.
------------
OTHER POINTS
------------
Fairway : 20 points
Rough/Semi : 0 points
Bunker : -20 points
Water : -40 points
O.B : -60 points
Top/Back Spin : 20 points
Pin Hit : 20-50 points
Long Putt : 50-100 points

11. VTR SHOTS ________________________________________ (.24Z) |
_____________________________/ \_______|
When you make a great shot, such as a birdie or eagle chip in, the game will
automatically save the shot so that you can watch the replay of it. The VTR
section holds all of these replays and are categorized by the type of shot and
what you scored (birdie, hole-in-one, etc).
If you want to save a specific shot that the game doesn't automatically save
for you, just hit square for replay, then hit L1 to manually record it.
There are also special types of shots you can get to make for a more
interesting VTR shot. When hitting a chip-in shot, you can do a top or back
spin for different effects. If you perform a top spin and the ball hits the
pin, the ball will catch on fire, shoot straight up the pin, hit the flag, and
drop back into the hole (sometimes it may pop out though). If you do a back
spin, you can get a similar effect. When you do a back spin, you'll want the
ball to land a bit further than where the pin is located. The ball can then
back spin toward the pin and drop into the hole. There are times also when the
back spin is really strong, and the ball will spin back to the pin, hit it,
reflect back onto the green, back spin again toward the pin, hit it, then go
straight into the hole. This can happen over and over many times, that is, it
can reflect off the pin multiple times before going into the hole. The most
times it reflected off the pin and back into the hole for me was about 4-5
times.
Another type of cool VTR shot you can get is by hitting the flag of the pin. It
can then drop straight down into the hole. You can also get the ball to drop
right into the hole if you're very accurate. However, the ball can easily pop
back out if it has a lot of velocity. There are more crazy VTR shots you can
perform as well, such as hitting it off a nearby house than have it roll into
the pin and more. If you finish the Versus mode, you can see some of the
different types of shots you can perform during the credits roll.

Here is a list of the wildlife and other objects I've seen throughout the
course of the game and their location.
* Note that some of the wildlife listed below will only come out during a
specific season.
* Most of the times, an ant will be walking inside of the hole. Depending on the
view, you may see it fall off when the ball goes into the hole.
* If you get a Bogey (or worse), sometimes a frog will hop out of the hole.

14. MINI-PUTT ________________________________________ (.27Z) |
_____________________________/ \_______|
Take a break from the normal courses and have fun with a miniature golf game.
In this mode of play, you have two shots to get the ball into the hole. Just
like real life miniature golf, there are some weird obstacles and you can hit
the walls to get different angles. The farther your shot is, the more points
you get. On the second shot, 5 points is the max you can achieve.
On a majority of the holes, you will be able to find a "Bull's Eye" sign. If
you aim toward it and add the right amount of power, you will uncover a good
line for a good amount of points. However, the position of the player at the
start of the hole will be random, so you will have to determine if the line is
possible and/or adjust it a bit if necessary.
* Note *
The position your player starts off at will vary. The following "Max Points
Line" summary is only a guideline. You should adjust accordingly to how your
player is positioned!
The "Max Points Lines" may not necessarily be the best. I haven't spent too
much time on figuring out the different ways, so if you have any helpful
hints, you can feel free to email me.
----------------
GET MORE POINTS!
----------------
For some of the "Max Points Line", try facing your golfer backwards. Hit the
ball off a wall or two then have the ball go into the "Max Points Line" and
you can get a lot more points. Use the line tracker that you can see on the
green to see where your ball will go. It's difficult to do this method but
you can achieve a lot of points if you get it! Use the overhead view (Start
button) to get a better view of the line.
-----------------
COURSE 1 - HOLE 1
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the left.
Max Points Line : Aim towards the Bull's Eye sign and make it past the water
hazard. The ball will curve around the edge and go into the
hole.
-----------------
COURSE 1 - HOLE 2
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the left.
Max Points Line : Aim towards the Bull's Eye sign The ball will hit the first
wall, then bounce off the second wall. It will then go
towards the ramp, go slightly up it, and back down into the
hole.
-----------------
COURSE 1 - HOLE 3
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the right.
Max Points Line : Aim for the umbrella on the left. The ball will hit the wall
go back down, hit the can, and go into the hole.
-----------------
COURSE 1 - HOLE 4
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the left.
Max Points Line : Aim towards the Bull's Eye sign. The ball will make it's way
to a concrete path which will lead the ball into the hole.
-----------------
COURSE 1 - HOLE 5
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the left, on the mountain.
Max Points Line : Aim towards the Bull's Eye sign. The ball will curve and
enter a "hidden" cave where it goes in the mountain and
comes back out perfectly lined up to the hole.
-----------------
COURSE 1 - HOLE 6
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the left.
Max Points Line : Aim towards the Bull's Eye sign. The ball will hit the wall,
make it's way down pass the hole, hit the can, then go into
the hole.
-----------------
COURSE 1 - HOLE 7
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the left, beyond the stream.
Max Points Line : Aim towards the Bull's Eye sign. The ball will hit the wall,
make it's way to the wall on the bridge, go up the hill, and
into the hole. You may also be able to get it to the hill on
the right, but have not confirmed it.
-----------------
COURSE 1 - HOLE 8
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the left.
Max Points Line : Aim toward the Bull's Eye sign. The ball will curve on the
hill, hit the second statue, and go toward the hole. If
you're lucky, the ball will hit the rock before going in for
some extra points.
-----------------
COURSE 1 - HOLE 9
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : Straight.
Max Points Line : Aim to the right, in between the 2nd and 3rd O.B sticks. Use
20m of power and hit. The ball will curve up the hill and
slowly backtrack it's way around the rocks and into the
hole. About 34 points.
_______________________________________________________________________________
-----------------
COURSE 2 - HOLE 1
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : None.
Max Points Line : Aim to the left and the ball will go up the hill, roll back
down, hit some pins, and go into the hole.
-----------------
COURSE 2 - HOLE 2
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : A bit to the right.
Max Points Line : Aim for the Bull's Eye sign. The ball will hit the center
wall, go up the hill, roll down and hit the pins, and go
into the hole.
-----------------
COURSE 2 - HOLE 3
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the left.
Max Points Line : Aim for the Bull's Eye sign. The ball will hit the wall and
make it's way down into the hole.
-----------------
COURSE 2 - HOLE 4
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the right.
Max Points Line : Aim for the Bull's Eye. The ball will jump off the ledge and
roll down the hill, hitting the multiple pins and hopefully
making it's way into the hole.
-----------------
COURSE 2 - HOLE 5
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : None.
Max Points Line : Aim a bit to the right. The ball will fly down the course
and hopefully go up the curved ramp and roll back down into
the hole. Or it could hit the wall just before the small
ramp, go up the small ramp towards the blue ramp, hit that,
then roll into the hole. You can also go to the left. The
ball will make it's way down the long fairway, hit the pins,
go up the ramp, and into the hole.
-----------------
COURSE 2 - HOLE 6
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : To the left.
Max Points Line : Aim for the Bull's Eye sign. The ball will hit the wall,
roll across the wall, jump off the ledge, hit the pins, and
go into the hole.
-----------------
COURSE 2 - HOLE 7
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : None.
Max Points Line : Aim just to the left of the pillar on the right. The ball
will curve through the incline and make it's way into the
hole.
-----------------
COURSE 2 - HOLE 8
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : Left and Right.
Max Points Line : Aim towards either Bull's Eye Sign. The ball will hit the
wall and make it's way down toward the pin bouncing multiple
times off the walls, ramps, and pins and hopefully, into the
hole.
-----------------
COURSE 2 - HOLE 9
-----------------
Bull's Eye Sign : None.
Max Points Line : You have a choice of 4 paths to take. The middle paths are
fairly straight. The outer paths curve a lot and you have a
chance of jumping a ramp before landing in the hole.
