                                I. Rolento's History
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rolento is a soldier who only had one wish, which was to rule the world.
He wanted to overcome M. Bison, and with the power of the Shadaloo Empire,
he would be able to do that...But on his way, he met up with a member of
the Madgear Gang, located in Metro City, Sodom (SFA3). Agreeing to join, he
employed tactics to win many victories over its foes. Then, Madgear was
destroyed
because its leader was killed by Haggar, mayor of Metro City, along with Cody
and
Guy. Filled with anger, Rolento seeks revenge for what Haggar, Cody, and Guy
done.
Along this path, Rolento chooses to rebuild the Madgear Gang and give himself
the
title of "Leader" instead of Sodom.

=Description= - Rolento stands and pokes at his opponent with his rod.
               One of Rolento's best moves. His poke is one of the best
                   in the whole game! It is a quick move, and probably his
                   best offensive tactic. Abuse it badly.

=Name=        - Crouching Jab
=Command=     - c. LP
=Rating=      - 5
=Description= - Rolento crouches and pokes his oppenent with his rod.
               Another one of Rolento's good pokes. Just as fast as his
               S. LP. Another abusive move to use; just mix it up with
               his other moves, and you'll be fine.

=Name=        - Jumping Jab
=Command=     - j. LP
=Rating=      - 1
=Description= - Rolento jumps and pokes vertically. Really bad range.
               Not as good as his other offensive moves. The vertical
               poke is only good if the opponent is also in the air,
               and you have to have quick reflexes to succesfully catch
               them. Try to avoid this move.

=Name=        - Standing Strong
=Command=     - s. MP
=Rating=      - 5
=Description= - Rolento turns his back and pokes towards the air. This
               is Rolento's anti-air. It has really good range, and its
               pretty quick. A great move to play a rushdown with!

=Name=        - Crouching Strong
=Command=     - c. MP
=Rating=      - 5
=Description= - Rolento crouches and twirls his rod. This is a great move
               which crushes your opponent's guard crush (GC) meter easily.
               Another good rushdown move, and should be abused.

=Name=        - Jumping Strong
=Command=     - j. MP
=Rating=      - 5
=Description= - Rolento jumps and twirls his rod below him. This is another
               great move which is great for rushdown. A (Scouter Jump)
               mixed in with this MP is great. Abuse this too.

=Name=        - Standing Fierce
=Command=     - s. HP
=Rating=      - 4
=Description= - When far, Rolento hits with his rod coming overhead. When
               close, Rolento uses his rod and hits up in the air. A good
               move when used far-ranged, and pretty decent up-close.

=Name=        - Crouching Fierce
=Command=     - c. HP
=Rating=      - 5
=Description= - Rolento crouches and stabs his opponent with his rod. Has
               superior range, and should be used in your mix-up game.
               Use when needed.

=Name=        - Jumping Fierce
=Command=     - j. HP
=Rating=      - 4
=Description= - Rolento jumps and sticks his rod out overhead. Has decent
               range, and should be used often.

=Name=        - Standing Short
=Command=     - s. LK
=Rating=      - 1
=Description= - Rolento kicks his opponent. This move has bad range and
               should never be used. Avoid at all costs.

=Name=        - Crouching Short
=Command=     - c. LK
=Rating=      - 1
=Description= - Rolento crouches and pokes at his opponent with his feet.
               His c. LK isn't too fast to consider it poking. Not a very
               good move; avoid again.

=Name=        - Jumping Short
=Command=     - j. LK
=Rating=      - 1
=Description= - Rolento jumps and sticks his foot towards the opponent. All of
                   Rolento's LK moves are not good enough to use. Avoid this button
               at all costs!

=Name=        - Standing Forward
=Command=     - s. MK
=Rating=      - 1
=Description= - Rolento twists his leg and kicks his opponent. This is a bad
move;
               as it has terrible range, and cannot be combo'd into anything.
Avoid
               this one.

=Name=        - Crouching Forward
=Command=     - c. MK
=Rating=      - 4
=Description= - Rolento crouches and sticks his leg out even farther. This move
               is combo'able into the (Patriot Circle), which can lose a lot of
                   your opponent's life. It has decent range. Should be used in
most
               combos.

=Name=        - Jumping Forward
=Command=     - j. MK
=Rating=      - 1
=Description= - Rolento jumps towards his opponent with his leg sticking out.
This
               is a move that should be avoided.

=Name=        - Standing Roundhouse
=Command=     - s. FK
=Rating=      - 3
=Description= - Rolento turns his back and kicks the air. An average move, with
decent
               range. This shouldn't be used that much.

=Name=        - Crouching Roundhouse
=Command=     - c. FK
=Rating=      - 5
=Description= - Rolento crouches and slides his opponent. This is one of
Rolento's
               best moves, as it can be added to your rushdown mix-up. Has
great
               recovery, and can be viewed as a "safe" move. Most of the time,
you
               will have time to do a (Scouter Jump) backwards and retreat
safely.
               A great move to use!

=Name=        - Jumping Roundhouse
=Command=     - j. FK
=Rating=      - 2
=Description= - Rolento jumps toward his opponent and sticks his leg out. It is
a quick
               move which won't last long, so it shouldn't really be used as
much. Not
               really an important move.

                                 V. Special Move List

=Name=        - Patriot Circle
=Command=     - qcf + P x3
=Rating=      - 4
=Description= - Rolento's most damaging special move. It's basic hit reaches up
to 11
               hits. You can easily set up your opponents by using c. MK XX qcf
+ P.
               This move has great potential towards damaging your opponent's
Guard
               Crush Meter.

=Name=        - Scouter Jump
=Command=     - KK
=Rating=      - 5
=Description= - Rolento jumps forward towards the opponent. This move does no
damage,
               but has a full-screen capability of leading into a mix-up. This
move
               should be used a lot.

=Name=        - Stinger
=Command=     - dp + k, any button
=Rating=      - 5
=Description= - Rolento jumps into the air and then throws a knife diagonally
towards
               your opponent. The LP/LK throws the knife at a downwards
position,
               MP/MK at a diagonal position, and HP/HK at a almost horizontal
position.
               This is a great move and should be used in your mix-up rushdown.

=Name=        - Mekong Delta Air Raid
=Command=     - qcb + P, any punch
=Rating=      - 5
=Description= - Rolento rolls backwards and if you choose to press another punch,
then
               Rolento jumps at his opponent with his rod out. This is a great
move,
               because this works well with a (Scouter Jump) and this is also
one of
               Rolento's escape moves.

=Name=        - Mekong Delta Attack
=Command=     - PP, any punch
=Rating=      - 2
=Description= - Rolento jumps backwards and rolls towards your opponent, causing
damage.
               This is a pretty useless move, as it has bad recovery timing and
the
               damage is pretty low. The strength of the punch determines how
far
               Rolento rolls. Avoid this move.

=Name=        - Mekong Delta Escape
=Command=     - qcb + k
=Rating=      - 5
=Description= - Rolento jumps onto the wall behind him and flies towards his
opponent.
               This is a great move; if your in a tight spot, you can use this
and
               escape. This move also allows you to use any normal air attack
while
               Rolento bounces off the wall. A great move to use in your mix-up
game.

=Name=        - Take No Prisoners
=Command=     - qcf,qcf + P
=Rating=      - 4
=Description= - Rolento sends a tripwire towards your opponent. If it
               connects, one of his El Gato Henchmen pulls them up by
               their neck, choking them. This is a good super, which
               does a decent amount of damage. The recovery rate is also
               good, and this move should be used frequently.

=Name=        - Mine Sweeper
=Command=     - qcb,qcb + P
=Rating=      - 4
=Description= - Rolento ducks and rolls back as several grenades explode.
               This is a pretty good defensive move, as Rolento rolls to
               safety while performing this move.

=Name=        - Steel Rain
=Command=     - qcf,qcf + K
=Rating=      - 1
=Description= - Rolento balances several knives on the tip of his rod then
               tosses it up to land on the opponent. This is a pretty bad
               move, as the opponent can just tap you and you will stop.
               Avoid this one.

                                    VII. Tactics
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rolento's main game is to poke. Basically, the best offense is the best
defense! This works well with Rolento; as his s.LP is insanely quick, to
make the best offense. The basic Rolento game is to poke about 3-4 times
with LP, then end with a c.HP, then use a (Mekong Delta Air Raid) with a
(Scouter Jump) with MP or D+MK, and repeat. His c.HK works well when you
are about half-screen range from the enemy. Rolento is too quick to just
be poked back at, unless your fighting a Haohmaru. Just poke and use his
(Stinger) attack and you should be fine.
