This In-Depth Faq was made in purpose to help people with the shop synthesize
that a lot of us have problem especially with the new item outcome by trying
different combination of required items to be synthesized. I compiled all
the synthesize recipes with great help from the Atelier Iris board. I used
it as the core of this FAQ and adding some of recipes that I found my own.
Also if I found the synthesize that I made resulted a better Quality review
I will change the original information with my own recipes. Shop synthesize
plays a big part in the completeness of the game. You will know over the
course of the game, your characters, story, sub story line better as more
synthesize recipes unfold, you will see more scenes regarding the characters
in the game and not to mention some of the items you created will help you
battle against evil.
People wonder how to get more synthesize recipes. There are some variables
that triggered new synthesize recipes; advance with storyline, better quality
review, and make new recipes out of the old ones [which expands your overall
synthesize recipes]. Visit the shops often, synthesize often to make a better
quality items.
There are certain ingredients that required in most if not all recipes. For
example; in Blaire's recipes some recipes required baking powder/bread crumbs
in order to get higher quality result, you should make the basic ingredients
with high quality, which will make your overall quality result higher. That
principles works with other shops too. In essence, if there is ingredient
required in recipe that quality increasement is a possibility, you should
make that item in high quality first before attempting to put it in another
recipes. Higher quality ingredient will have impact on giving higher quality
result.

All shop has basic principle on getting high rates, the use of high quality
ingredients in every shop will result in higher quality rates. I will use
the example of Blaire's recipes since it's the easiest.
Blaire's Recipes to use: Bread Crumbs, Baking Powder, Fluffy Roll
In essence, you have to do trial and error with the basic ingredient first,
until you reach the highest score you can get; then you can use that
ingredient for other recipes, by doing so you will get better result.

Norman is a man who runs the restaurant and bar in Kavoc. He also the person
who ask you to do jobs for him with money or item as the reward. He does not
have any family except a girl whom he considers his own daughter, Veola.
His shop is consist of drinks, food, and some of its ingredients.

Veola, one of Klein's love interest, not that he knows anything about it. ^^;
She is a lonely girl who has no family but Norman whom she considers her
father. She opens the shop because she needs the money for living, the girl
gotta make a living not that she likes doing it. She also loves messing around
with Lita. Off all the shop owners, I think Veola needs more attention than
any other people and her character story is more indepth than anyone else
[the other shop owners off course]. She has many recipes too, double than
the others.

Her Bakery Shop is in Arcose, next to Villa's shop. She's not originated there.
Blaire works at bakery shop to improve her baking methods, so she says. ^^;
She often practice baking at night, trying with many ingredient to come up
with very good recipes to please the bakery owner. She doesn't like Villa
because she likes messing with her but truth to be told I think she's just
trying to be the bad guy but in fact she's giving her the motivation to make
the best bread.

Totopop is a fuzzy small bunny who lives in Hidden Village. Hidden Village
is beyond Hermil Gate up to the mountain. In the Path to Heaven, work your
way up to meet a small pink bunny, you will see a scene and the bunny will
automatically take you to the Hidden Village. Totopop's recipes are the
missing items for Veola's recipes. When you go outside the village, go south
to see a well on the World Map, go to the well to go back to Kavoc.

Mofuma is a big pink bear [is it?? ^^; ] who lives in Hidden Village.
Mofuma makes the missing food for Blaire's, Norman and Oscar's recipes beside
his/her own signature dishes.

Oscar is a renegade chef. Your first encounter with him is in Kavoc. He is
standing where the kids playing around near the middle area between Norman
and Lyla's shop. After awhile he will move out to other areas; Hagel's
Weapon Shop in Kavoc, Arcose near Haan's Shop, and Collector's Caravan.

I must warn you, there are certain items [consider valuables] that are only
available at the shops on certain period of time or after you bought out
the item [make the 'Sold out' sign pop]. It's like buying one of the kind
item, where you bought it then it diseapered from the shop for good. So if
you come across any of the following items, you ought to buy it or you are
going to spend quite a bit of time to acquire it next time.
All the items I listed below, will diseaper from the shop's list once you
bought them all [make the 'sold out' pop] and usually they only have 1-3
items. They might have it 'Sold Out' for certain period of time then it will
diseaper or it will diseaper alltogether just like when you bought a weapon.

Putting up 'Ingredients' section. I did not include all food
ingredients as some of them you can easily find or remember
which store has it [like salt/flour/baking powder/etc],
I only put some that need a bit of an effort to get it. I do
know that I might miss several items and if you know what is
it and where to find it, I'll be glad to add it to my list.
