II. Intro (intro)
Ace Combat Zero takes place 15 years before the events of Ace combat 5
and 10 years before Ace Combat 4. This places you in the shoes of an ace that
blossomed from a Mercenary called Cipher. The entire storyline is basically a
flashback of Pixies Memory (Larry Faulke) as he tells the story through the
reporter in the year 2005. Though, of course in true Ace Combat style, you
get to decide the fate of everyone around you.
In this installment of the great game, this time around you are based on an
honor system. This all weighs on your abilities as a pilot and your desicions
on which enemies to kill. This is based on a new type of character, a neutral
character which is charaterized on your IFF system as a Yellow marker. These
are either civilian based outposts like a bunker, or a house, to a new kind
of enemy that is not destroyed but they added a new feature which allows you
to neutralize your opponents instead of always killing them. When you start the
game, you are in the very middle of the scale, a soldier. As you progress
through the game, you will tip the scales as either a true Mercenary, by
destroying a majority of yellow targets, or a Knight, by sparing the majority
of the yellow targets. Targets that are Civilian count more than a neutralized
arial target. You will lose more if you kill a bunker than an airplane that
you neutralize in air.
This new system also dictates alot in the game from just dialog in some
missions or what paths you take. Certain aces you encounter in game switch as
your ace status switches, some aces you can get in one mission as a Knight are
not available in the same mission as a Soldier or a Mercenary. There are some
acceptions to this rule like the Gelb team in Mission 7 or the Espada team in
Mission 15. Also, what squadron you get to shoot down in missions 3 and 12
dictate which cutscenes you get throughout the game. So this makes the game
that much harder and that now it takes at least 3 playthroughs if you are able
to switch your ace style better that I can. It took me 8 playthroughs to get
all the missions in free Mission.
There is much more information so lets start with some history.
In the begginning, in the 1980's, there was a large conflict between Belka
and some of its satalite parts, parts that started rebelling on Belka in its
own borders, wanting to Ceceed and break off from the bigger force. Belka,
weakened through war premature to this starting notion had to comply because
of stressed relations with parts of its own country, and others as well.
Allowing them to Ceed was the only logical thing to do. Better yet, over
half of Belka was Ceeded to enemies around it. Tensions did not levy and 3
years later the Discovery of large deposites of natural resources in the newly
reformed Republic of Ustio, Formerly part of SE Belka, only rubbed salt into
already deepcut and half licked wounds of the Main country. All the satalite
countries of Belka were also finding such deposites now that resources were not
tapped by years of war and fighting by a much smaller country. This made the
Oseans a much harder force to compete with. Rising conflicts between Ustio and
Belka continued to rise as the Small Ustio had barely been able to begin to
flourish.
2 years later after the unthinkable events that lead to upscaled rivalries
and small attacks, it came. With a swift hard arm, the formerly recluse country
of Belka, reached out with its arms and gathered, once again, all of the
nations that ceeded from it and brought them together again under dictatorship.
Only small areas of certain countries were left unharmed after the swift attack
of the Legendary Belkan Air Force. Within days of the quick fearless strike,
more than 90% of all the land that had left Belka was under its unceasingly
hard arm of Opression. Ustio, in the event of this happening, had stationed in
the mountains, an airbase known as Mt. Valais. It was a training haven for most
of the Ustio Air force, which at the time was not large due to the small age
of the country. It had previously highered some mercenarys that would work for
them in the interest of the ustian government. Just as long as they are paid,
they can be trusted to do the correct thing in battle and it was not long
before they started to prove themselves. The day of the final attack on Mt.
Valais and Valais air base was avoided because of the bravery of 2 ordinary
mercenarsy named Cipher and Solo Wing Pixy. Over time, the duo had turned the
tide of the war in the favor of the usian government but only the utter defeat
of Belka would matter so they kept fighting.
Public Eye
On the Belkan side over time, these two Ustio Mercs contiuned to Foil
again and again, aces of all kinds and attacks on all, eventually recapturing
ustio territory and then diving into belka and taking over belkan territory.
The harder the strikes became the more desparate they got on getting rid of
all oposition and ending the war for themselves. They were so desperate to free
themselves of war, they took to extremes, detonating nuclear devices and claim
that the land north was the "Holy" land of Belka. This was to become the extent
of Belka, the northern line of the Nuclear blast range to southern Osea. It was
decided that in the treaty, that there was to be a small remaint of Belka and
that much of the land was to be Anexxed to Individual Countries. This is as
far as the Public eye got to see through the sheet of lead that lie infront
of the entire Controversy.
Actuality
In all acctuallity this was the first appearance after being formed from
a group of radicallists in spite of the war and wanting to change the world to
a form of better that they had defined as what we would call Communism. They
wanted to set up a gov't based on the fundamentals of Equalitism and Freedom,
(two things that dont fit together). The group has been forged of many diffrent
nationalities including Belkans, Oseans, and Sapins using the planes and
infiltrating those Militaries ranks and converting others into their plane of
thinking. Taking heed to the increasing strains they took advantage of the
fact that Belka wanted to end the war and used it as a perfect excuse to
detonate Nuclear explosives in precise locations making it seem random. They
launched a fleet of B-52s that were said to have some nuclear devises toward
Ustio, the main confrontation, and in the confusion made it appear that Belka
was ending the war by nuclear attacks on Ustio. But it was all just a
distraction to the World so that they could pass the other nuclear devices
undetected to the disposal sites. Even that could not blow the truth out from
under them as minutes before the detonations a fleet of true Belkan aces flew
out claiming that the bombers were not of Belkan Alligence anymore and were
flying without clearance. This made it confusing to the other fighters and
seemed that they were confused about their ranks and fighting themselves now.
Though in a retrospect, this acctually was an unforseen wind that blew the
cover of the entire affiliation and exposed them for what the attack really
was.

IV. Missions List (Misn List)
Mission: 01
Sortie Name: Glacier Skies
Operation: Crossbow
Stratagy: Welcome to Ace Combat Zero. This is the Belkan war so sit back, get
relaxed, sit in your comfy chair and attack helpless planes. There is no
training mission so this is where you get to try out some simple manuvers and
learn to fly if this is playthrough one.
Start out by not moving much and pretty much going straight with the a/b pushed
to the limit while listening to commentary. Right now you should be hearing
that Pixy, thats your wingmate, is admiring your ability to win. Now, up front
they have an F-4E, toast it and head down line. just toast your way down the
line of planes taking out the occasional escort plane from the B-52s and B-338s
but not too often. When you reach the main force one plane will break off
complaining of IFF problems, dont worry about this one, he will really leave if
you dont fry his ass while he leaves. If you do, his wingmates will give you
alot of grief about only a Merc will take down a helpless plane, yeah. whatever
a B-52 full of bombs with an IFF malfunction is hardly helpless.
After that just torch the rest of the line.
Recommended planes: If this is your first playthrough, it doesn't matter, just
get something with a Qaam. They all suck anyway.
If it is not and it is your second or third, you may want something with a Xaam
or possibly a Saam.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:02
Sortie Name: Anexx
Operation: Roslein
Stratagy: Alright this mission it is all down to buisness. This mission is the
one you determine with yourself where your loyalties lie, as a Merc, Knight, or
Soldier. There are plenty of Civilians to attack so choose quick.
On this mission you are introduced to ground targets. These are simple OHK guys
and are easy to see on the IFF. There are three placements on the route 171
on the bridges. the first bridge has 2 targets on it and 2 aa guns. After that
your decision to waste the houses on that side of the bridge or to be a good
person and spare them. I wasted them. You will encounter some air resistance,
dont pay attention and blaze on through if you arnt looking for an ace fighter.
The second bridge has 4 targets on it. If you slow down enough you may be able
to take out all of them in a single pass. Onto the third bridge.
This one is kinda tough and will take multiple passes. There are 12-15 targets
here so choose targets and fire. There are sams at this location so be wary.
Afterwards Pixy will mention something about not going home without wings.
Recommended planes: This is where you may need to utilize something with
air to ground weapons such as the Napalm or LASM.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:03M
Sortie Name: The Round Table
Operation: Choker One
Stratagy: On this mission you are flying decoy for a Freighter Fleet about to
enter the Canal on the other side of the legendary Belkan Airspace B7R, or as
it is refered to, The Round Table.
Starting out there are 8 planes around and You may want to take them out before
crossing the mountain range into B7R or you will get enemy ace Squadrons on you.
Assuming that you are a Mercenary by this time, you will be duking it out with
the Rot squad. 4 Typhoons and if you still fly the J35J you may be in trouble.
These are Elite fighters and they are only the first in a long string of bad
battles that you will come upon. They all have the ability to shoot long range
and hit you. Two of these and you are going to be shot down so be careful.
Afterwards it will be revealed to you that the Fleet of Navy ships are grateful
for your unknown help.
Recommended planes: In this one it is advisable for you to go ahead and buy
the next plane available for you to battle with. Otherwise you may be a piece
of bread in their afterburners
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:03S
Sortie Name: The Round Table
Operation: Choker One
Stratagy: On this mission you are flying decoy for a Freighter Fleet about to
enter the Canal on the other side of the legendary Belkan Airspace B7R, or as
it is refered to, The Round Table.
Starting out there are 8 planes around and You may want to take them out before
crossing the mountain range into B7R or you will get enemy ace Squadrons on you.
Assuming that you are a Soldier by this time, you will be duking it out with
the Grun squad. 4 F/A 18 and if you still fly the J35J you may be in trouble.
These are Elite fighters and they are only the first in a long string of bad
battles that you will come upon. They all have the ability to sneak up on you
very quickly and it is recommended to duck in and out of combat often.
Recommended planes: In this one it is advisable for you to go ahead and buy
the next plane available for you to battle with. Otherwise you may be a piece
of bread in their afterburners
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:03K
Sortie Name: The Round Table
Operation: Choker One
Stratagy: On this mission you are flying decoy for a Freighter Fleet about to
enter the Canal on the other side of the legendary Belkan Airspace B7R, or as
it is refered to, The Round Table.
Starting out there are 8 planes around and You may want to take them out before
crossing the mountain range into B7R or you will get enemy ace Squadrons on you.
Assuming that you are a Knight by this time, you will be duking it out with
the Indigo squad. 4 J-39s and if you still fly the J35J you may be in trouble.
These are Elite fighters and they are only the first in a long string of bad
battles that you will come upon. They all have the ability to shoot long range
and hit you. Two of these and you are going to be shot down so be careful.

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:4A
Sortie Name:Juggernaught
Operation: ???
Stratagy: Air to air mission on this one. Choose something like the A-10 on
this mission and you will quickly find out that you are flying a giant metal
Hurse with wings. Take something small, fast, and agile. Dont worry about any
ground ordinace on this mission so only take air to air missles. Possibly Qaams
or XLMAs if you have unlocked a plane that has them in their inventory.
Recommended planes: Same as stratagy, something that has Air to Air Missles,
nothing big and bulky. Speed counts on this mission.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:4B
Sortie Name:Juggernaught
Operation:Gelinkos
Stratagy: What Stratagy! There is no stratagy in this one. Unless you want ace
planes to show up in later, higher levels of gameplay, (not for noobs) go
directly for the Jammers, these will become a very big problem quickly for
this is an Air to Air/Air to Ground mission. You have Flak guns, AA Guns,
ASP tanks, and Aircraft so all fronts are covered. Take out the ground TGTs
first as they will boost your score the most and then annihilate anything in
the air.
Recommended planes: Well, you can go with 1 of two choices.
A. Choose something with air superiority like the F-4 Phantom and take the sky
after eliminating the jammers.
B. Or you could take something like the A-10 II Warthog which you should have
by now, it will help in the long run to have it, and annhilate ground forces &
use the immense defense of the heavy craft to your advantage as you fight off
remaining air forces. Also if you choose this one, abuse pixy as much as poss.
Otherwise, there may be more forces that you can handle left.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:4C
Sortie Name: Juggernaught
Operation: Round hammer
Stratagy: Well, this is a very easy mission even if you are flying for the
first time on this mission or not, especially if you have purchased the LASM
(Long-ranged Air to Ship Missles) which are also Air to Ground but are more
effective on ships. These will really help you because the entire mission
of the Round hammer is on the ground. There is no top cover work except for
the Ace, otherwise, waste away at the ground, that is your target.
If it is your second playthrough, waste them with napalms.
Third or higher with completions on all levels of status, the MPLBs work
wonders on ground places if you have bought the Morgan.
Recommended planes: J35J with LASM missle
Anything higher is recommended, anything that has Air to Ground capabilities.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:5
Sortie Name: A Flicker of hope
Operation: Varsity
Stratagy: Mostly air to ground so stick with the F-2A.
Go directly to the active field, you have to beat the planes to the field
otherwise the paratroopers will drop directly onto sam and aa fire. You need
to come in and take out all targets as fast as possible. Basically after this
a few air targets will pop up. simple.
Recommended planes: F-2A
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:6
Sortie Name: Diapason
Operation: Constantine
Stratagy: In this mission you attack Directus, the capital of Ustio. There are
5 ground outposts that you have to destroy. All you have to do is run through
and destroy the ground outposts. But you need to get air to air missles so
that you can destroy Gelb team who confront you afterward. Straightforward
mission.
Recommended planes:F-16A would be an excellent choice if you have it.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:7
Sortie Name: Bastion
Operation: Hell Bound
Stratagy: At the beggining the radio chatter starts off something about coming
in on a Nuclear Inspection. Dont pay much attention to this, just fly straight.
Damn, this mission can get pretty hard so be careful, this is the first mission
that you are limited to kill fast because you have a 30 minute window to kill
16,000 points worth of enemies. If you want to take a course to secure a Knight
ranking, this mission is difficult to complete without taking out some yellow
TGT's.
First off you will encounter a small force of enemies. You should have the F-18
by now so use the Hell out of it from here on out. It is your only weapon. So
Use the FAEB it has to destroy everything, and I mean everything at the first
outpost. This mission is one of 3 you get a return line in, abuse it. Take out
the outpost, simple yes, now continue on into the middle of the map. There
should be a target that you can spot way away from you that you cant even see
on the map yet, go there. Come in from a high altitude and drop FAEB's on it,
one on each side of the complex to take out some of the SAMS and AA gun poss.
This is imparitive to be done, otherwise your tail is smoked. Now, open all
guns up on the main complex, after to FAEBs it should only take a few missles
some heavy gun fire to take it out... this is where the fun begins.
As soon as the encampment around you is destroyed along with the main building,
the mission is over, right? Wrong, open your map and positions to the NE, NW,
and to the SW have opened up. Not as easy as predicted eh? That is where the
supply line abuse comes into play. You should have already used around 4 FAEB
bombs so head to the SW zone. Drop the rest of your bombs on that one camp and
then eliminate the Ramparts there. Head south and cross the line, resupply, and
redeploy.
Now, if you still do not have enough points to complete the mission with, go
due north now. You want to find the target that had the single target in it.
Not two, just one. Go toward it. It is a giant airfield with a bunch of parked
AV-8Bs easy targets with a Cluster or FAEB bomb. Just drop some on the entire
place and you Should complete the mission no sweat. Now listen to some radio
chatter after the mission. They will say something about a slight flash and
then later in the Debreifing, a team will be reportedly misteriously MIA. This
will be very important in the next two missions. Damn I hate this mission.
Recommended planes: A-10
F/A 18C
F 15 C or E
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:8A
Sortie Name: ???
Operation: Alpha
Stratagy: Air to Ground, pretty simple, just choose something you would normal
choose for Air to ground missions. Also, you will face an ace at the end of the
mission so the A-10 is perfect because you will be flying into him headon. Just
drop some bombs onto the ground forces until all targets are down, now as soon
as that happens the Friendly allied planes will enter airspace and promptly be
shot down by an enemy Laser, yes a laser. This is a defensive item that is a
combination of the defensive property of stonehenge and the laser system shown
in AC5 by the ArkBird, Instead it uses a Chemical Laser system. Turn around and
do not engage afterburners. Yes, thats right, go slow, you can track the laser
attacks by looking at them on your radar. If you go to fast, you will go right
into the middle of a laser attack and your plane abliterated, especially on
harder difficulties because the shots are less predictable and the intervals
of charge are much shorter than the average on other levels. This is bad so
just mosy on along and avoid going into the Red dot on the map. You dont want
to agitate the dots on the mission, not a good thing. Just continue this and
you will live to see another day.
Recommended planes: A-10
F/A 18
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:8B
Sortie Name: ???

Mission:8C
Sortie Name: ???
Operation: Delta
Stratagy:
Recommended planes:
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:9
Sortie Name:
Operation:
Stratagy: Alright, no I'm not crazy, just listen. This thing is similar to
stonehenge with the arkbird in it so listen up. Start out the mission flying
straight forward. Hold down the accelerator as far as it will go and fly
straight. After a few seconds a red field will appear on the map and a laser
will fly by you. Do not dodge this, this blast will only take out the KC-135
that is flying for refuel missions. So continue forward gaining speed and
distance. When the second field appears that is when you break left or right.
I would recommend starting from an end because to get your missle targeting
back you need to takeout all four Jammers. Just take it slow and shoot them
with guns or if you are proficient with the missle system you can hit them
with a missle launched manually.
o o p o
o o x o o x
x o x p
After that, you need to go for the 4 smaller laser rail guns. these are
easy targets and will not stand up for much. After they are gun you can take
the excalibur. Takes a few passes not to mention laser dodging.
Recommended planes: Anything fast with air to ground. You can hit excalibur
easily with air to ground bombs.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:10
Sortie Name:
Operation:
Stratagy:
Recommended planes:
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:11
Sortie Name: The Inferno
Operation:
Stratagy: Alright, last night mission you have to fly, wheeee. Now that thats
out of your system down to buisness.
This one you are fighting both AirtoAir and AirtoGround so you need to get
something fast with air to ground capabilitites. This said, a good choice would
be F-16 or if you have it, the F-15S/MTD.
first go in, there are multiple ground tgts. Take these out fast. After you get
completely done with them multiple air tgts will appear. Take these out with
missles and guns.
Finally some B-2 stealths will come in, easy slow moving tgts... have fun.
Recommended planes: As said either F-16 and F-15S/MTD will do well here.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:12
Sortie Name: Stage For Apocalypse
Operation:
Stratagy: The minute you get control of the plane Haul Ass, as soon as the
misson starts you want to be as far away from Pixy as possible because
he will turn on you and will shoot you down. For this reason equip him with
UGBLs so he cant long range you.
You will head straight out heading for remnaint forces when you encounter
a flight of nuclear armed bombers. Head straight for them and unleash fury.
They will go down fast if you hit them hard and by the time there are 2-4 left
a Squadron of Belkan fighters will come out and claim that they are not allies
with the bombers and encourage you to shoot them down, ok... alittle fishy but
for now, so what. Blow them up and dont even worry about the escort planes.
As soon as that is done off to the West a nuclear blast will go off, causing
you to lose control for a moment and all other planes considered yellow tgts
so now you dont have to take out the escort planes. Now, if pixy has caught
back up haul ass again, dont stop pulling the A/B until the enemy Squad gets
there so you can blow them up.
Recommended planes: something fast, you should have a decent selection of
planes by now.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:13
Sortie Name: Lying in Decite
Operation: Stone Age
Stratagy: This one you just need to Aquire 20,000 points to win and, you get a
return line, SWEET. Just pick something that had both Air to Air and Air to
Ground capabilites and you will be fine. Take out some of the Mig squadrons
doing manuvers and then change to bombs and take out some of the outposts.
There is a large hanger for pieces of the XB-0 if you want to go and take it
out at quadrant 4. Simple swoop and destroy mission nothin to it.
Recommended planes: Something with both bombs and Missles.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:14
Sortie Name:The final Overture
Operation:Broom
Stratagy:Alright, this is your last broken mission to fly. This takes 3 plays
to complete so get over your whining right now and fly more, this is a cool
game.
Operation Mercury: This is an Air-to-Ground mission, just a mop up for the
other two missions. Go in with some UGBLs or some FAEBs and take out the
ground forces very quickly. Some Gripen Cs will appear to the north, just
head on head one of them quickly and take out the other two, these are just
standard defenses nothing to serious. Now head out to sea and wipe out the
naval forces.
Operation Mars: This one is more difficult because it is an Air-to-Ground/Air
Mission. Just takesome bombs and take out the air base out in the mountains
while simultaniously taking out the fighters that have taken off already.
Simple, yeah. Easy, yeah. Cheap, ... no.
Operation Jupiter: This is your last Easy, mark that down, Air to Air mission
left to do. Just get some XLAAs and take out the planes that arrive, though,
take care in dispatching the F-35C JST that appear out of nowhere in the north
to oppose you and you will do fine.
Recommended planes: Basically choose your own, i dont care right now this
is your last easy mission.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:15
Sortie Name: The Talon of Ruin
Operation:Valkyerie
Stratagy:What the... there is a giant flying fortress and you want me to take
it out? Alright, give me FAEBs. you will want these.
So, you start out in a bunch of cutscenes of the base getting attacked, so what
just skip and take off.
Getting to the point, you are up against first, XB-0, a large aerial Aircraft
Carrier for A World With No Boundries. This thing is being protected by the
Sapin Espada Squad, Yuke Esivogels, and 2 B-2A Bombers, so this is where the
fun starts. Begin with ignoring Espadas and go straight to XB-0. Fly directly
over it and aim down to launch one of the FAEBs at it. If you are directly over
it, like 10 feet, then it should explode immediately eliminating everything, do
it again and take out all of its secondary defenses. This will leave only the
cockpit open and you can leave that for a later time to deal with. Go mop
up all of the escort planes scoring around 6 aces in total with some left
to be gotten at later difficulties. Then just go back and bomb the cockpit of
XB-0 and be done with the mission.
Recommended planes: Something with bombs that goes Boom real big.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:16
Sortie Name: Demon of the Round Table
Operation:Thunderbolt
Stratagy: Alright, Choose your plane wisely, you will want something with FAEB
bombs if you are a noob but if you want to be something else that is fine b/c
you are about to do 2 strictly Air-to-Air Battles and an Air-to-Ground battle
with the same plane.
Depending on your Ace style, you will get one of three squadrons to fight, each
has diffrent tactics and they will be outlined.
Sorcerer Squadron: You get these guys when you get Mercenary Ace style on the
meter. These guys just use Long Ranged weapons and are hard to avoid if coming
on straight ahead. I recommend just going around in circles and trying to avoid
long range head on attacks. These guys like to bounce around so just stay on
their tails until they straighten out and you can hit them.
Gault Squadron: These guys come with the Soldier Ace Style on the meter. They
are similar to the Sorcerer Squadron, alot of bouncing around and long range
weaponry. Just use a similar style attack pattern you did with Sorcerer Squad.
Wizard Squadron: Well, heres the odd placemat. This squad is broken into 2
wings. There are 4 F-16XLs and then there are 4 YF-23s which, you guessed it,
have stealth capabilities, so that means if you are not facing them with your
radar within 60 degrees of the front of the ship, they are invisible to you.
So if you let them get behind you, especcially noob pilots, you are basically
done for. Not only that, but the Squad breaks up into 4 subgroups at the start
of the battle. So when you get tangled up fighting the first group, the next
set up will come and join the battle shortly, followed by the third, and then
finally the fourth group will get up to you. Just take them out quickly and you
should not have many problems.
Recommended planes: I reccomend that you choose something with a large bomb
capabilites because after this battle, you do not get to choose another plane
and you have a large Air-to-Ground battle after this. It would be wise to also
because that the squadrons you face and Pixy are very hard to shoot down with
long ranged missiles anyway and are not affected by the normal 1HitKo status of
some advanced missiles that you get like the XLAAs and the XMAA missiles.
If you already have the ADFX-01 Morgan, then you should take that and the laser
these work will together.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:17
Sortie Name:The Valley of Kings
Operation:Point Blank
Stratagy: Alright, you still have the original weapon that you chose when you
left last mission. You will start off refueling, easy enough and gives you an
extra 800 points if you do it added to your final score, sweet
So, just fly low until you reach the dam. There is an ace that will appear if
you destroy all of the enemies on all the bridges up to the third one if you
so desire, I would reccomend you save all of the FAE bombs if you are flying
this level for the first time, they will come in very handy when you are taking
out the V2 launch controls. So just stay in the valley, when you reach the Dam
go up, you can go high now so do it while you can, maybe fly to the NorthWest
and take out the Aces Ritter and Turm that Appear in the wing of fighters over
there and if you want the Medal for this level, The Gold of Awyne, go do a few
flyovers on the dam and destroy all of the Gun Towers that are there, throghly
disabiling the defenses. Now, if you flew the Multiplayer mission through the
rings or you have played AC-5 and followed Pops through the mountains, or have
played AC-4 and destroyed the giant missile silo as Mobius one, then you have
experienced something similar to this. So go to the begining of the dam and go
through a slot that appears like a red line in the Grey ground and make sure
that you level out and watch out for protruding walls, otherwise you will hit
them. When you come upon your first set of 4 drop 1 bomb, wait, and then drop
other following the first, this will knock out the entire thing, end of story.
You need to slow down and wait for them to regen so have fun and take out the
AA guns in the tunnel, just missile them. Now there is a second, do the same
thing for that one and you should be fine. Now, you can either go straight for
the third and take it out or you can fly after the X-29 that just launched out
of the tunnel, you should wait possibly for this one later and get him on the
next playthrough unless you feel confident enough. Just zap the third and be
done with it. Fly out of the end of the tunnel and watch PJ get shot out of
the sky after telling you that he is going to propose to the girl he has back
at the base. Now, gear up your wits, you get to fight PIXY!!!
Recommended planes: Whatever you got on the last level, thats what you keep.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
Mission:18
Sortie Name: ???
Operation: zero
Stratagy: Ok, this mission is broken up into three phases as you try to shoot
Pixy down. First when you get control, avoid head to head confrontation with
him. He is armed with a Tactical laser system and can take you out faster than
broadsiding a mountain at Mach 1. so dont look at him. instead, turn your plane
down and get behind him, this is easy cause he dosnt avoid you for the moment.
Second, now that he has come back online, he will begin to shoot MPLBs every-
where. Nomatter what you do, do not fly into the pretty dot, repeat, DO NOT FLY
INTO PRETTY DOT!!! It will kill you, again, faster than broadsiding a mountain.
He will become more evasive this time, so avoid the pretty dots and shoot him
down.
Third, after the cutscene, you will be facing him head to head. Fire Missles as
soon as you get into range. Since you have bombs, you will need to get within
800 feet to fire. This is a drag but still, you have to do it. In this one he
activates the EMC contrls, the Electronic Counter Measures, which if you do not
hit him head on with missles they will bounce right off like bullets bouncing
off water. Just hit him head on 6 more times and he will die, you win, whoop-de
do. Now wait till the end and if you destroyed everything last level like you
should have, you will get the Gold of Awyn Medal.
Recommended planes: You will use the same plane from the previous 2 missions.

Vi.v NPC Characters and Non-Ace characters, other than Cipher and Pixy.
This is General Data for all Characters in the Game, even AWACS Controllers.
Only characters that were a major part of the game or had a speaking role, even
some aces will be listed here. Others will just be part of a list at the end of
the roster identifying them only by Callsign and not by name. All of the names
can later be found in the Ace list section.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Name: Cipher
Callsign: Cipher
Info/Status: Currently MIA presumed Dead, Cipher was head lead of Galm team,
Ustios 6th Air Squadron, 66 Tactical squadron. He was a young, and exeptional
pilot who flew as a Mercenary for a few short years until he disappeared with
no trace whatsoever, as if he never existed at all. He was commonly refered to
by persons alike as " The Demon Lord" or "The Demon Born on the Round Table",
both refering to an epic battle over the Belkan airspace of B7R, Known as
The Round Table in common speech. He earned his respect by single-handedly
turning the tide of the battle, and then fighting of one of 3 deadly Belkan
squadrons of Aces by himself. He has never been heard from after a desisive
battle at the area known as Avalon, where his former wingmate, Pixy, also
known as Larry Faulke, Fought for the future of humanitiy against eachother.
In unbelieveable odds and strokes of luck, out witted and outpowered by an
advanced plane flown by Pixy, Cipher was able to prevail, striking down Pixy's
top end ship and successfully cutting his ships connection with the V2 Launch.
Afterwards, his plane was never recovered, never seen nor heard from again yet
an extensive search around the perimiter was proven inconclusive and turned up
no hopes that either pilot survived.
Name: Larry Faulke
Callsign: Solo Wing Pixy, Galm 2 (1)
Info/Status: Currently reported as MIA and AWOL by the Republic of Ustio, Pixy
is in another fight with the Yuktobanians against the Oseans. He is the sole
narrator for the entire game. The whole flashback that you played out was the
memmory of Pixy alone in an interview with a nosy reporter trying to find out
all that he could about the extensive and elaborate history of what remains
secluded as the Belkan Conflict. Even he, did not know of the origin of Cipher
or to this day where he may be residing.
Name: Patrick James ?
Callsign: PJ, Crow 3, Galm 2 (2)
Info/Status: Currently married to a woman he proposed to after being retrieved
from being shot down by Pixy before the battle over the V2 launch, PJ was the
pilot chosen to replace Pixy after he had gone AWOL from Galm team after the
Nuclear attacks on Belkas own soil.
Name: ???
Callsign: Crow 1
Info/Status: Not much is know about the Crow team other than they were another
team of Ustio mercs, who were all shot down other than PJ after the Nuclear
attacks from Belka.
Name: ???
Callsign: Crow 2
Info/Status: Not much is know about the Crow team other than they were another
team of Ustio mercs, who were all shot down other than PJ after the Nuclear
attacks from Belka.
Name: Various different people
Calsign: AWACS, Base Commander
Info/Status: Little is known about the different people who play these but they
all give you information. The AWACS is the most prominent of these, he guides
you through the missions giving you detailed mission info up to date all the
time. The Base Commander just gives you briefings in the begginings of the
missions.

This part of the guide is going to take the longest since I am refraining from
looking at other guides to keep mine as pure as possible. I will if I must and
only then I will use the information I get to go do it myself, get the Ace on
my list, and then list it on here. Otherwise, I will only do it and post as I
have acctually gotten the ace.

rescue another person in AC5 from. Just look down and fly straight.
If you look at the Name Sapin and rearange the letters it spells Spain
Falken early - Have a stored memory block of AC-4 on your mem card
Morgan early - Have a stored memory block of AC-5 on your mem card
Heartbroke1 and Huckabine are both appearances by characters in AC5. Pops
and the base commander later in life.
Take down the XB-0 easy, get a FAEB or cluster bomb and drop it on the giant
