Hey And welcome to My Faq on the Tune up part of A.C.E.
This guide is free info and so it's free to everybody.This is not
a full FAQ. So I will not go into any of the missions or the
secrets. If you have a comment for me or a correction needed
this faq, place a message on the board.

I) Story
========
Another Century's Episode is a combination of about nine anime
universes into one new universe. Namely MS Gundam:
Char's Counterattack, Z-Gundam, Gundam-W,
Aura Battler Dumbline, Brain Powered, Heavy Metal L-Gaim,
Metal Armor Dragonar, Nadesico the Movie,
and Blue Comet SPT LAYZNER.
The Story in a nutshell is that a newly discovered energy resourse
called E2 has been found in space. A war has broken out on who
will control this new material between the Earth and space
(sound familiar?). Differnt orgaizations vie for control
of the earth and space such as OZ, Drake,and Neo Zeion.
The United Community of Earth was formed to stop these
factions from taking over. This is your team.

II) Controls
======= =
In A.C.E. there two control schemes: Manual and Automatic.
Manual
--------
Square - Main Weapon/ Melee (when close)
Triangle - Target
Circle - Sub weapon
"X"- Boost
R1 - Raises straght up
R2 - Lowers straght down
L1 - Attack 1
L2 - Attack 2
Left Analog - moves the mech (fwd/back/side)
Right Analog - (inverted) Rotates Camera 360 around
mech/ in space rotates mech 360
in all directions.
L3+R3- Special Ability
Using this scheme alows more freedom in movement and
weapon control. While in space the right analog is used
to rotate the mech in 3d. For example, presssing up
on the rightt analog will make the mech circle vertically
while rotating left or right will rotate the camera
from left or right. Remember the mech will always
follow the camera so when you move the camera from
left to right it will start to turn. Also, when acending
it's better to circle like a vulture.
Automatic
-----------
Using this scheme allows for easy locking strafing. The camera
will automaticly track your target and your weapon will change
automaticly depending on the range of the target. The difference in
the buttons are that circle becomes your special, L1 and L2 are not used
and L3 and R3 are not used. So if you have more than two weapons this
kinda sucks. I suggest to use manual but its up to you.

III)Mecha Tuning
==============
When you enter the tune up menu you have 3 options:
1. Add skill
2. Strengthen skill
3. Erase skill
Note: the 1 and 3rd choices will be in red and un useable during story mode
briefing menu.

Rendevous Points:
During this part of the game, you can upgrade your 'Carrier' which
is essentially your mothership abilities. The upgrades are as follows:
1. Expand slot capacity = more mecha can join your squad, up to a maximum
of 12 can be in your team at one time.
2. repair points = more points you can use to repair your mecha
during the missions. The 'repair points' will
automatically be refilled at 'rendevous points'
as well as your damaged mecha being fixed
for free.
3. repair efficiency= the higher percentage, the less repair points are needed.

In the option 'Slots' you can buy the slots needed to upgrade:
Armor: (+defense -vernier)
Speed: (+speed -defense)
Boost speed: (+boost speed -gen output)
Generator Output: energy bar for boosting (+gen output - boost speed)
Motion Ability: (+motion ability -turning ability)
Turning Ability: (+turning ability -motion ability)
Weapon Power: (+wep Power -wep reload)
Weapon reload: (+wep reload -wep power)
