Ok.. I was bored.. No, I was brain-dead.  "Why on earth did you choose to
do an FAQ on Yusha/Heaven's Gate??" I kinda wish you'd say, seeing as all
of about 2 people will ever read this.  Well, I picked it up really cheaply
and after finding a hidden character that no one had listed, I thought
I'd give it a try.

Train, train and train some more to be the best.

F = Forward
B = Back
U = Up
D = Down

G  = Guard
P  = Punch
K  = Kick

GP = Guard and Punch together (Throw)
PK = Punch and Kick together
GK = Guard and Kick together
GPK = All three buttons pressed together
(X) = Normal.  This attack will just hit the opponent.  No other effect.
(S) = Stagger.  If this move hits the foe with reel backwards.  The next
hit will cause the opponent to float up for juggles.
(F) = Float.  Setup for juggles.
(B) = Blast.  If this move hits then the foe will fly backwards.
(C) = Ceiling.  This attack will punt the opponent straight up.
(K) = Knockdown.  This attack will floor an opponent instantly.

<ENERGY BARS>
Um.. you more you hit/get hit, the more you lose.  Basic, really...

<SOL/LUNAR BARS>
By attacking your opponent (Or being attacked by them) this bar will rise.
When it fills up completely you have an option available to you.
This is:-

<<SOL/LUNAR POWER RELEASE>>
Hitting GPK (Guard, Punch and Kick) when the bar is full starts off the
SOL/LUNAR attack mode.  When you go into the SOL/LUNAR RELEASE you are
invincible for a few seconds whilst you power up.  After you come out of
the powering up phase your SOL/LUNAR bar will decrease in energy like a timer.
Once you are powered you can then use:-

<<<TRIANGLE JUMP ATTACK>>>
This move can ONLY be done in an arena with a ceiling.  When you are
powered input the following command:- D, U+Kick
Your character will jump up and grasp the ceiling for a second before
launching themselves at the foe.  If the opponent is standing when they
are hit it will instantly floor them.

<<<GENERAL SOL/LUNAR POWER ASSAULT>>>
Whilst powered you can use this basic POWER ASSAULT.
Input the command:-  D, D+GPK
These vary from character to character.  Experiment with them.

<<<SOL/LUNAR POWER ASSAULT>>>
These moves are, in essence.. Super Moves.  They cause a fair bit of damage
and can help you come back to beat the opponent.  The commands for these
are more complex than those of the GENERAL SOL/LUNAR POWER ASSAULT moves.
Some characters have more than one SOL/LUNAR POWER ASSAULT move in their
moves lists.

<<<SOL/LUNAR POWER ASSAULT CANCELS>>>
These are done by hitting GPK after certain button presses within a
characters combos.  Experiment as much as you can.. nearly every character
has more than one.

<POUNCE ATTACKS>
When you knock down your opponent you can continue to punish them with a
pounce attack.  Input the following command:- U+Punch
Your character with leap at the fallen foe and try to attack them whilst
they lie helpless.  This move has a certain range that you can't use it
at, but the closer you are to the foe, the higher the chance of hitting them.

<AERIAL ATTACKS>
Every character has the ability to perform several aerial attacks in the
form of two styles.  "Hopping" and "Jumping".

<<HOPPING ATTACKS>>
Tapping Up briefly will make your character hop.  It's a quick way of
evading sweep attacks and you have two attacks available to you.
#HOPPING PUNCH =
A quick punch
#HOPPING KICK =
A quick kick
Both attacks are fast and if done just before you land, can help to
start off a combo.

<<JUMPING ATTACKS>>
Holding Up will cause your fighter to jump.  From this you have four
attacks that will be available to you.
#JUMPING SPIN KICK =
Pressing Punch as you leap will start this powerful kick.  If this connects
the opponent will go flying backwards.  You have from the second you leave
the floor until the apex of your jump to hit the Punch button.
#PUNT KICK =
Pressing Punch or Kick as you land will make your character use this move.
There's no real use for it other than the fact that it knocks the foe down.
#RISING JUMP KICK =
Pressing Kick just as you take off will make you jump and attack at the
same time.  If this connects the opponent will be floored.
#DOUBLE FOOTED DROP KICK =
Pressing Kick at the apex of your jump will make your fighter kick out
with both feet.  If this connects then the enemy will go flying.  If you
jump over your foe and use this, then you'll kick backwards to strike
them in the back of the head.  Be warned however, you roll when you land
and are prone to attack.

<RISING ATTACKS>
When you are floored you have a few options open to you:-
#Hold Up = Side Roll away from the screen.
#Hold Down = Side Roll towards the screen.
#Hold Back = Back Roll away from the opponent.
#Press Guard repeatedly = Quick get up.
#Press Punch repeatedly = Rise with a standing kick.
#Press Kick repeatedly = Rise with a crouching kick.

You can also combine the rolls and attacks to further perplex your enemy.
i.e. Hold Up and press Punch repeatedly = Side roll up and rise with kick.

<SIDE KICK>
Every character has access to the Side Kick.  On it's own the Side Kick is
not a great move, but in certain conditions it can be a valuble move.
Input the Command:- DF+Kick
If you Side Kick a crouching foe, blocking or not you will force them to
stagger backwards.  Press the attack to make them float and combo them
to death!

the 8th round you'll have to beat DYBYD in STAGE X. (It's NOT easy..)  Go
on to complete the game and he's yours.
