Version 1.00 - 11/08/2009----------Guide fully composed, and all trophies are
covered.

[C]
**************
*INTRODUCTION*
**************

This is a guide to the acquisition of the trophies imbued to the game "Way of
the Samurai 3". The intention of its composition is to provide gamers with
coherent strategies to better enable him/her to obtain the trophies for this
game.

In writing this FAQ, I have acquired all of these trophies myself, so all of
the strategies and insights below come from personal experience.

Below is a quick briefing on the format and structure of this guide, so that
one may best understand its content.
===============================================================================

[D]
*****************
*GUIDE STRUCTURE*
*****************

The trophies in this guide are in numerical order, and therefore appear in the
same manner as one would read them on his/her PS3. Essentially, this guide
lists the trophies in the same order as does the PS3.

Each individual trophy will have four subsections. The first will read
"Title", which is the name designated to the trophy. The second will read
"Description", which is a reiteration of the trophy’s requirements to unlock,
and will read exactly as it does from the PS3 itself. The third subsection
will be "Rank", which will label the trophy as one of Platinum, Gold, Silver
or Bronze. Finally, the fourth subsection will be "Method", which is a
proposal of one or more possible strategies for the completion of the
requirements to unlock a trophy.
===============================================================================

[E]
******
*NOTE*
******

There are a total of 51 trophies in "Way of the Samurai 3". Respectively, they
are 1 Platinum, 3 Gold, 5 Silver, and 42 Bronze.

For the purposes of the numerical order of trophies in this guide, please
understand prior to reading that the lone Platinum trophy is excluded, and is
not assigned a number. This is the manner in which it appears on the PS3, and
therefore that it is way it will appear in this guide. So although the
Platinum trophy is situated at the top of the list, it is NOT trophy number 1.
To make it comprehensible, I have labeled it as "0".

**********
*TROPHIES*
**********

[0] Title----------Platinum Trophy.

   Description---------- Acquired all the Trophies.

   Rank---------- Platinum.

Method---------- Not much to say about this one. Simply obtain all the
trophies available to this game, and this trophy will be unlocked.

[1] Title----------??? (Victory).

Description----------Completed and discovered the True Ending.

   Rank----------Gold.

Method----------The true ending for this game is ending number one. Meet
the requirements for this ending, and you will obtain the trophy.

[2] Title----------Ending.

   Description----------Completed the game.

   Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------A fairly simple trophy to obtain. Simply clear the game
and acquire any ending to achieve this trophy. Note however that clearing the
game by selecting the "Leave Amana" option on the World Map is not sufficient.
An ending must be obtained in order to unlock this trophy.

[3] Title----------Five Stories.

   Description----------Completed and discovered 5 Endings.

   Rank----------Silver.

Method----------Complete the game (right to the end of the story) a
minimum of five separate times, and obtain five different endings in order to
unlock this trophy.

[4] Title----------Way of The Samurai.

   Description----------Completed and discovered all Endings.

   Rank----------Gold.

Method----------In order to unlock this trophy, not much more can be said
than the fact that one must have successfully completed and unlocked all
endings possible. The "Endings" section displayed under the "Records" category
in the game shows twenty-eight ending slots. The final seven slots are various
versions of the credits reel. That means that in order to unlock this trophy,
there are twenty-one distinct endings one must unlock. Note that this game has
a secret ending, which most refer to as ending number twenty-two. Unlocking
this secret ending is not necessary, nor is it a prerequisite as it relates to
unlocking this trophy. Only the before mentioned twenty-one are mandatory.

[5] Title----------??? (Samurai 4EvR!).

Description----------Cleared game with more than 120% Samurai Rating.

   Rank----------Gold.

Method----------First, please note that the description for this trophy is
a little misleading. One only needs a Samurai Rating of exactly 120% to unlock
this trophy, and the Samurai Rating does not have to exceed this mark.
Generally speaking, different endings produce a higher or lower overall
Samurai Rating. Difficulty is also a determining variable. There are likely a
number or ways to obtain this trophy, however I have personally had the most
success in achieving 120% by getting ending number two on the Hard difficulty.
With proven success on multiple occasions, I would recommend this approach.

[6] Title----------Weak Samurai.

Description----------Cleared the game in Easy difficulty.

   Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------To obtain this trophy, one must simply beat the game and
acquire an ending on the "Easy" difficulty setting.

[7] Title----------Skilled Samurai.

Description----------Cleared the game in Normal difficulty.

   Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Similar to the "Weak Samurai" trophy, one must beat the
game and acquire an ending on the "Normal" difficulty setting. I would
personally recommend obtaining a different ending for this one than was
acquired through the "Weak Samurai" trophy for the advantageous fact that it
helps a player work towards the completion of all endings.

[8] Title----------Samurai Master.

Description----------Cleared the game in Hard difficulty.

   Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Clear the game and acquire an ending on the "Hard"
difficulty. Hard mode is unlocked when a particular threshold of Samurai
Points are accumulated on the player’s file. It will be a challenge; much more
so than Easy and Normal. Therefore, I recommend bringing at least one upgraded
weapon with high stats, so that one is more capable of survival. Also, bring
healing items into the game. I would personally recommend obtaining a
different ending for this one than was acquired previously, for the
advantageous fact that it helps a player work towards the completion of all
endings.

[9] Title----------??? (Samurai Slayer).

Description----------Cleared the game in Instant Kill difficulty.

   Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Instant Kill mode is unlocked after Hard mode, when a
particular threshold of Samurai Points are accumulated on the player’s file.
To unlock this trophy, one must complete a game and acquire an ending on the
Instant Kill difficulty setting. Like its name suggests, Instant Kill mode
means that all characters in the game will die with a single strike--including
the player. With that being the case, healing is not much of a concern. I
recommend using a spear type weapon, since it allows for an extended reach,
and therefore an advantage in range when in combat. Be careful when pushing as
well, as being pulled while doing so could result in certain doom. Also, try
for an ending which requires minimal combat possibilities, and as a general
rule, avoiding combat wherever possible limits a player’s likelihood of being
killed. Ending number eleven is well suited to this trophy.

[10] Title----------Weapon Forger.

     Description----------Created a weapon.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------You will have to create a weapon (any weapon) to unlock
this trophy, which can be done at the Blacksmith. There are two Blacksmith
characters in this game. One is Dojima (younger) who is in the northern part
of Takatane Village. The other is Dojima (older) whose shop is in Omiki Town.
It will not take much playtime for a player to recognize that sword parts can
be obtained either from fallen enemies, or bought from merchants. Take these
sword parts to the Blacksmith, and choose the "Create Weapon" option. Then
simply follow the instructions until you have created your very own weapon,
and this trophy will be unlocked.

[11] Title----------Upper Stance Mastery.

Description------Mastered all skills of Upper Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------For this trophy, one will have to obtain every skill
available to the upper stance category. This means collecting every upper
stance sword in the game, and unlocking all of the skills for each one, which
is referred to as "mastering" a sword. Once all upper stance swords have been
mastered, all skills will be obtained, and this trophy will unlock. Once
swords are collected, there are two methods to unlock all of the skills. One
is to simply use these swords until they become naturally mastered. The other
is to use Basic, Advance, and Special scrolls in combination to learn all of
the skills on a sword. An easy tactic for this second method is to sleep until
day five. Then take all of your money to the merchant Uepon at the Posting
Station who sells all types of scrolls (by day five, all will be available).
Buy the maximum amount of scrolls you can, and then kill Uepon to get your
money back (pick it up when he drops it). Then you can go to your World Map,
choose "Leave Amana", save, and then go for another run.

[12] Title----------Middle Stance Mastery.

Description----------Mastered all skills of Middle Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------For this trophy, one will have to obtain every skill
available to the middle stance category. This means collecting every middle
stance sword in the game, and unlocking all of the skills for each one, which
is referred to as "mastering" a sword. Once all middle stance swords have been
mastered, all skills will be obtained, and this trophy will unlock. Once
swords are collected, there are two methods to unlock all of the skills. One
is to simply use these swords until they become naturally mastered. The other
is to use Basic, Advance, and Special scrolls in combination to learn all of
the skills on a sword.

[13] Title----------Lower Stance Mastery.

Description----------Mastered all skills of Lower Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------For this trophy, one will have to obtain every skill
available to the lower stance category. This means collecting every lower
stance sword in the game, and unlocking all of the skills for each one, which
is referred to as "mastering" a sword. Once all lower stance swords have been
mastered, all skills will be obtained, and this trophy will unlock. Once
swords are collected, there are two methods to unlock all of the skills. One
is to simply use these swords until they become naturally mastered. The other
is to use Basic, Advance, and Special scrolls in combination to learn all of
the skills on a sword.

[14] Title----------Single Stance Mastery.

Description----------Mastered all skills of Single Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------For this trophy, one will have to obtain every skill
available to the single stance category. This means collecting every single
stance sword in the game, and unlocking all of the skills for each one, which
is referred to as "mastering" a sword. Once all single stance swords have been
mastered, all skills will be obtained, and this trophy will unlock. Once
swords are collected, there are two methods to unlock all of the skills. One
is to simply use these swords until they become naturally mastered. The other
is to use Basic, Advance, and Special scrolls in combination to learn all of
the skills on a sword.

[15] Title----------Side Stance Mastery.

Description----------Mastered all skills of Side Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------For this trophy, one will have to obtain every skill
available to the side stance category. This means collecting every side stance
sword in the game, and unlocking all of the skills for each one, which is
referred to as "mastering" a sword. Once all side stance swords have been
mastered, all skills will be obtained, and this trophy will unlock. Once
swords are collected, there are two methods to unlock all of the skills. One
is to simply use these swords until they become naturally mastered. The other
is to use Basic, Advance, and Special scrolls in combination to learn all of
the skills on a sword.

[16] Title----------Spear Stance Mastery.

Description----------Mastered all skills of Spear Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------For this trophy, one will have to obtain every skill
available to the spear stance category. This means collecting every spear
stance weapon in the game, and unlocking all of the skills for each one, which
is referred to as "mastering" a weapon. Once all spear stance weapons have
been mastered, all skills will be obtained, and this trophy will unlock. Once
spears are collected, there are two methods to unlock all of the skills. One
is to simply use these spears until they become naturally mastered. The other
is to use Basic, Advance, and Special scrolls in combination to learn all of
the skills on a spear.

[17] Title----------Bare Hands Stance Mastery.

Description----------Mastered all skills of Bare Hands Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------The strategy for this trophy is a bit different than
that of most other stances. In the case of bare hands, one cannot learn skills
through any kind of natural means. Instead, skills are attached to the
character rather than a particular set of weapons, and therefore skills may
only be learned from Bare Hands Scrolls. In rare cases, these can be obtained
from slain enemies. However, a much more reliable method is to visit the
merchant Uepon at the Posting Station on day five or after. He will sell you
Bare Hands Scrolls. Keep using these scrolls until you have mastered bare
hands, and with its mastery you will unlock the trophy.

[18] Title----------Draw Stance Mastery.

Description----------Mastered all skills of Draw Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------For this trophy, one will have to obtain every skill
available to the draw stance category. This means collecting every draw stance
sword in the game, and unlocking all of the skills for each one, which is
referred to as "mastering" a sword. Once all draw stance swords have been
mastered, all skills will be obtained, and this trophy will unlock. Once
swords are collected, there are two methods to unlock all of the skills. One
is to simply use these swords until they become naturally mastered. The other
is to use Basic, Advance, and Special scrolls in combination to learn all of
the skills on a sword.

[19] Title----------Ninja Stance Mastery.

Description----------Mastered all skills of Ninja Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------For this trophy, one will have to obtain every skill
available to the ninja stance category. This means collecting every ninja
stance sword in the game, and unlocking all of the skills for each one, which
is referred to as "mastering" a sword. Once all ninja stance swords have been
mastered, all skills will be obtained, and this trophy will unlock. Once
swords are collected, there are two methods to unlock all of the skills. One
is to simply use these swords until they become naturally mastered. The other
is to use Basic, Advance, and Special scrolls in combination to learn all of
the skills on a sword.

[20] Title----------Dual Sword Stance Mastery.

Description----------Mastered all skills of Dual Sword Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------The strategy for this trophy is a bit different than
that of most other stances. Firstly, the ability for dual swords unlocks when
a particular threshold of Samurai Points has been accumulated on the player’s
file. In the case of dual swords, one cannot learn skills through any kind of
natural means. Instead, skills are attached to the character rather than a
particular set of weapons, and therefore skills may only be learned from Dual
Sword Scrolls. In rare cases, these can be obtained from slain enemies.
However, a much more reliable method is to visit the merchant Uepon at the
Posting Station on day five or after. He will sell you Dual Sword Scrolls.
Keep using these scrolls until you have mastered dual swords, and with its
mastery you will unlock the trophy.

[21] Title----------Ninja Dual Sword Stance Mastery.

Description----------Mastered all skills of Ninja Dual Sword Stance.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------The strategy for this trophy is a bit different than
that of most other stances. Firstly, the ability for ninja dual swords unlocks
when a particular threshold of Samurai Points has been accumulated on the
player’s file. In the case of ninja dual swords, one cannot learn skills
through any kind of natural means. Instead, skills are attached to the
character rather than a particular set of weapons, and therefore skills may
only be learned from Ninja Dual Sword Scrolls. In rare cases, these can be
obtained from slain enemies. However, a much more reliable method is to visit
the merchant Uepon at the Posting Station on day five or after. He will sell
you Ninja Dual Sword Scrolls. Keep using these scrolls until you have mastered
ninja dual swords, and with its mastery you will unlock the trophy.

[22] Title----------Weapon Destroyer.

     Description----------Broke an opponent’s weapon.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------To earn this trophy, you must break the weapon that an
opponent holds in his/her hands. Each weapon has a durability rating, and it
is this rating that determines how close a sword is to breaking. Five is the
highest, while zero is broken. When an opponent blocks your attack, a heat
meter will begin to fill his/her durability meter. When the meter is full, you
will hear a ‘clunk’ sound, and the opponent’s durability meter will decrease
by one. Continue to fill his/her meter until the durability reaches zero, and
he/she will be left holding nothing but a handle. Be careful however, because
your heat meter will be increasing through this process as well, so be sure
that you do not break your own weapon.

[23] Title----------Blunt Attack.

Description----------Defeated an opponent with a Blunt Attack.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------To use a blunt attack, all one must do is press the
select button. A big "BLUNT" will read across the image of the player’s weapon
in the bottom left corner of the screen, and when the weapon is drawn, the
character will attack with the blunt end of the weapon. The attacks are still
the same; however, once an enemy is defeated, they are left alive, but
immobile. Do this, and the trophy will be earned.

[24] Title----------Amana Native.

     Description----------Played more than 10 hours.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------As the description suggests, just play the game for over
10 hours (non-consecutively) and the trophy will unlock. Note however that
one’s save file must read as having logged over 10 hours.

[25] Title----------Forged Weapon.

Description----------Forged a weapon for the first time.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Forging a weapon means upgrading a weapon, which can be
done at the Blacksmith’s shop. There are two Blacksmiths in this game. One is
named Dojima (younger), and is located in the northern part of Takatane
Village. The other is named Dojima (older) and is found in Omiki Town. Take
any weapon to either of these Blacksmiths, and choose the option
Upgrade Weapon". Once you have upgraded a weapon, the trophy is yours.

[26] Title----------Killer.

     Description----------Fi[r]st time killing an enemy.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Probably the easiest trophy to earn. All one must do is
kill an opponent.

[27] Title----------Weapon Master.

Description----------Mastered all skills for a weapon.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Each weapon has a move set called "skills", many of
which are unlockable. One method to unlocking these skills is to just use the
weapon, and the skills will be learned naturally. Basic, Advance and Special
Scrolls can also be used to learn a skill for a weapon quicker. In either
case, once you have learned all of the moves for a particular weapon, that
weapon is considered "mastered". An easy tactic for this second method is to
sleep until day five. Then take all of your money to the merchant Uepon at the
Posting Station who sells all types of scrolls (by day five, all will be
available). Buy the maximum amount of scrolls you can, and then kill Uepon to
get your money back (pick it up when he drops it). Then you can go to your
World Map, choose "Leave Amana", save, and then go for another run. Master one
weapon to earn this trophy.

[28] Title----------Weapon Specialist.

Description----------Mastered all skills for thirty weapons.

Master
thirty weapons to earn this trophy.

[29] Title----------Power of 10.

     Description----------Achieved 10 Chain Kills.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------A chain kill refers to the system of instant kills. It
begins with a parry, which is done by pressing the block button at the exact
second an incoming attack would otherwise hit you. If done correctly, the
ability to instant kill will appear in the form of an indication to press the
X button. If done fast enough, the instant kill is performed, and the chain
kill begins at one. If other enemies are around, they will then charge the
player, and when close enough, another button command will appear on the
screen. If that second button is pressed fast enough, the second enemy is
instantly killed, and the chain increases to two. For the purposes of this
trophy, one must get that chain to ten without missing a command. The most
basic strategy is the one above. If a player has difficulty performing chain
kills, another option is to get the first instant kill, then wait for a second
enemy to rush in. When that second enemy gets close enough and the screen
changes, pause the game. Pausing will allow the player to see the next button
command, and prepare. When ready, the game can then be unpaused, and the
button can be pressed to continue the chain. I would also recommend trying
this in an area with a lot of enemies. The 100 man job works well, and
storyline fights with infinite spawning enemies (such as the Fujimori Clan’s
invasion of Castle Minori) would be ideal. Also, try to determine the location
of the spawn point, then fight near that area. This helps to avoid chain
breaks.

[30] Title----------Power of 100.

     Description----------Achieved 100 Chain Kills.

For the purposes of this
trophy, one must get that chain to one-hundred without missing a command. The
most basic strategy is the one above. If a player has difficulty performing
chain kills, another option is to get the first instant kill, then wait for a
second enemy to rush in. When that second enemy gets close enough and the
screen changes, pause the game. Pausing will allow the player to see the next
button command, and prepare. When ready, the game can then be unpaused, and
the button can be pressed to continue the chain. I would also recommend trying
this in an area with a lot of enemies. The 100 man job works well, and
storyline fights with infinite spawning enemies (such as the Fujimori Clan’s
invasion of Castle Minori) would be ideal. Also, try to determine the location
of the spawn point for enemies, then fight near that area. This helps to avoid
chain breaks.

[31] Title----------Head Collector.

     Description----------Obtained all Heads.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Heads are obtained by meeting a particular threshold of
Samurai Points that are saved to a player’s file. Continue to collect Samurai
Points, and the heads will eventually be acquired. 2,500 points should be
enough.

[32] Title----------Outfit Collector.

     Description----------Obtained all Outfits.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Outfits are obtained by meeting a particular threshold
of Samurai Points that are saved to a player’s file. Continue to collect
Samurai Points, and the outfits will eventually be acquired. 6,000 points
should be enough.

[33] Title----------First Time.

Description----------Learned a skill for the first time.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Weapons have skills attached to them that must be
unlocked. This can be done either by using the weapon and acquiring the skill
naturally, or by using a Basic, Advance or Special Scroll on the weapon. Use
one of these methods to learn one skill and earn the trophy.

[34] Title----------Skill Collector.

     Description----------Learned a total of 10 skills.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Weapons have skills attached to them that must be
unlocked. This can be done either by using the weapon and acquiring the skill
naturally, or by using a Basic, Advance or Special Scroll on the weapon. Use
one of these methods to learn ten total skills to earn the trophy.

[35] Title----------Master of Skills.

     Description----------Learned a total of 100 skills.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Weapons have skills attached to them that must be
unlocked. This can be done either by using the weapon and acquiring the skill
naturally, or by using a Basic, Advance or Special Scroll on the weapon. Use
one of these methods to learn one-hundred total skills to earn the trophy. If
this proves to become overwhelming, an easy tactic is to sleep until day five.
Then take all of your money the merchant Uepon at the Posting Station who
sells all types of scrolls (by day five, all will be available). Buy the
maximum amount of scrolls you can, and then kill Uepon to get your money back
(pick it up when he drops it). Then you can go to your World Map, choose
"Leave Amana", save, and then go for another run.

[36] Title----------Weapon Collector.

     Description----------Obtained 10 different weapons.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------There is not much strategy to this trophy. Collect ten
different weapons (by storing some in your sword safe) and you will get the
trophy.

[37] Title----------Weapon Arsenal.

     Description----------Obtained 50 different weapons.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------There is not much strategy to this trophy. Collect fifty
different weapons (by storing some in your sword safe) and you will get the
trophy. If you get to a certain point where fifty different weapons is getting
difficult, try higher difficulty levels or different types of enemies to
obtain different weapons.

[38] Title----------Payday.

     Description----------Completed a job successfully.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Jobs are obtained from job brokers, and there are four
job brokers in Amana. One resides in each of Takatane Village, Omiki Town,
Castle Minori, and Castle Amana. On the "Local Map", they are indicated by a
yellow speech bubble with a white arrow pointing downwards. Agree to a job
from one of these four, complete the requirements, and then return to the same
broker from whom the job was received to complete the job, and earn the
trophy.

[39] Title----------Job Seeker.

     Description----------Completed 50 jobs successfully.

Agree to a job
from one of these four, complete the requirements, and then return to the same
broker from whom the job was received to complete the job. Do this fifty times
to earn this trophy. Note that the fifty jobs do not need to be completed
within the course of a single game. The number of completed jobs carries over
to future games.

[40] Title----------Relationship.

     Description----------Obtained a partner.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------There are fourteen partners scattered throughout Amana,
and they are identified by the green border that surrounds their names. They
are found in different places at different times in the games, and have
different requirements for joining you. For the purposes of this trophy, just
get any one of these fourteen partners to join you, and you will get the
trophy. The easiest is probably Yukino, who appears in Omiki Town between
18:00-00:00. Pay her 100 yen, and she will become your partner.

[41] Title----------Extra Sword Safe.

     Description----------Obtained an extra sword safe.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------An extra sword safe can be obtained by meeting a
threshold of Samurai Points saved to a player’s file. Sword safes can also be
bought from the merchant Uepon at the Posting Station for 2,000 yen each.
However one does it; obtain an extra sword safe to earn this trophy.

[42] Title----------Assassin.

     Description----------Defeated Shuzen Fujimori.

     Rank----------Silver.

Method----------The description says it all. To earn this trophy, one
must defeat Shuzen Fujimori on any difficulty setting. Getting to fight
Fujimori is not quite as simple as it sounds, but there are many endings that
enable battle with him. Endings # 1, 5, 9, 10, 11, 15, 16, 19, and 21 are all
examples of paths that lead one to a battle with Shuzen Fujimori.

[43] Title----------Bushido.

     Description----------Defeated Sensei at the Dojo.

     Rank----------Silver.

Method----------The Dojo is located in the south-east corner of Guard
Gate. Once inside, there are three floors, with a ‘boss’ type figure
representing each floor. You must defeat the ‘boss’ of the first floor to get
to the second, and the ‘boss’ of the second floor to reach the third. The
third floor hosts the Sensei, which is who you must defeat in order to earn
this trophy. This can be done of any difficulty setting, however be warned
that the Sensei can be very strong, and therefore quite difficult to defeat.
Bring your best weapon, and lots of healing items. An alternate and easier way
to acquire this trophy is to enter the Dojo on the Instant Kill difficulty
setting, and kill all three figures in the Dojo before they even have the
opportunity to draw their weapon for defense. Doing this will also earn the
trophy.

[44] Title----------Title Collector.

     Description----------Obtained 5 titles.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Titles are earned for completing certain requirements
throughout the course of a single game. There are fifty in total, but for the
purposes of this trophy, you will need to discover five. This means one must
clear the game a minimum of five times. However, note that an ending need not
necessarily be obtained in order to earn a title. As long as the title’s
requirements have been fulfilled, a player may choose "Leave Amana" from the
World Map, and earn the title.

[45] Title----------Title Master.

     Description----------Obtained 20 titles.

     Rank----------Silver.

Method----------Titles are earned for completing certain requirements
throughout the course of a single game. There are fifty in total, but for the
purposes of this trophy, you will need to discover twenty. This means one must
clear the game a minimum of twenty times. However, note that an ending need
not necessarily be obtained in order to earn a title. As long as the title’s
requirements have been fulfilled, a player may choose "Leave Amana" from the
World Map, and earn the title.

[46] Title----------Zero Kill.

Description----------Killed an enemy using a weapon with zero
durability.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------In order to obtain this trophy, one must first have in
his/her possession a weapon with zero durability; a broken weapon essentially.
The player must deliver the killing blow to an enemy with this zero durability
weapon. Be warned that a broken weapon deals very little damage, so attacking
and eventually killing an enemy with a broken weapon can take a while. A
second strategy is to carry both a strong weapon, and a broken weapon. Attack
an enemy with the strong weapon until that enemy’s health has almost been
depleted. Then switch to the broken weapon to finish him/her off. Whatever the
strategy employed, the killing shot must be delivered with the broken weapon
in order to earn the trophy.

[47] Title----------Zero Blunt Attack.

Description----------Defeated an enemy with Blunt Attack using a weapon
with zero durability.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------In order to obtain this trophy, one must first have in
his/her possession a weapon with zero durability; a broken weapon essentially.
The player must deliver the final blow to an enemy with this zero durability
weapon, but the weapon must be set to "blunt" using the select button. Be
warned that a broken weapon deals very little damage, so attacking and
eventually blunt killing an enemy with a broken weapon can take a while. A
second strategy is to carry both a strong weapon, and a broken weapon. Attack
an enemy with the strong weapon until that enemy’s health has almost been
depleted. Then switch to the broken weapon (set to blunt) to finish him/her
off. Whatever the strategy employed, the final shot must be delivered with the
broken weapon set on "blunt" in order to earn the trophy.

[48] Title----------Samurai Leader.

Description----------Total Samurai Points exceeded 200 points.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Upon completing the game (by leaving early or obtaining
an ending), "Samurai Points" are awarded to the player based on the title
he/she earned. Some titles award more points than others, but they all give
something. Earn 200 of these points to unlock this trophy. Be careful not to
attack unarmed individuals (HI-DO), or a player will lose 50 Samurai Points.

[49] Title----------Samurai Hero.

     Description----------Total Samurai Points exceeded 2000.

     Rank----------Bronze.

Method----------Upon completing the game (by leaving early or obtaining
an ending), "Samurai Points" are awarded to the player based on the title
he/she earned. Some titles award more points than others, but they all give
something. Earn 2,000 of these points to unlock this trophy. 2,000 points can
be a lot, so remember that playing on higher difficulties earns more points.
One strategy is to play on Hard mode, and after waking up in Takatane Village,
one can progress a short distance until he/she sees two thugs. Defeat these
two thugs, but make sure to receive at least one hit. After these thugs are
defeated, consume a radish, and then choose "Leave Amana" on the World Map.
The "Vegetarian" title will be earned, and with it 1,050 points in about
two-three minutes. Another strategy is to play the Hard difficulty, and spend
at least 10,000 yen to earn the "Merchant" title. This title on Hard mode will
offer 1,200 points. If done correctly, it will take about three-five minutes.
Whatever the method, be careful not to attack unarmed individuals (HI-DO), or
a player will lose 50 Samurai Points.

[50] Title----------Legendary Samurai.

Description----------Total Samurai Points exceeded 10000 points.

he/she earned. Some titles award more points than others, but they all give
something. Earn 10,000 of these points to unlock this trophy. 10,000 points
can be a lot, so remember that playing on higher difficulties earns more
points. One strategy is to play on Hard mode, and after waking up in Takatane
