I. WALKTHROUGH [WLKT]

Little Acre follows the story of Aidan and his daughter Lily, switching back
and forth until the end of the story. Controls are pretty simple in that no
item combining is required -- simply select items in the environment to see
what they do or add them to the inventory. To use inventory items on objects
or people, use the upper-right arrow tab or the Mouse 3 (scroll) button.
Speaking of which, the inventory tab also contains the Notes tab, giving the
current objective. Players can obtain hints from here. There are achievements
for using and NOT using hints, so those that want all of 'em should do the
former first, then start a new game for the longer one.
As for saving progress, the game does it automatically. It only has one slot
for doing this, though manual saving is possible in the 'gear' tab near the
Notes tab.

Get the bag of oats on the very first try. The item in question hangs
up near the top of the screen. To get it, "use" Dougal and have him look
at the front door. While he's distracted, inspect the bag of oats. If one
is too slow, Lily tries climbing the bookshelf only to get pulled back
down, which ruins the achievement.

Little Acre has 27 achievements/trophies to find, plus an extra platinum
trophy for PS4 players. Most are obtained through normal gameplay, but a few
others require quick wits or idle hands.
NOTE: It's recommended to do the "It's Dangerous to Go Alone" trophy right at
the beginning of the game, then start over. That's because it precludes the
"Probably Used a Walkthrough" and "Let Go of My Hand" trophies otherwise. The
"Little Speedrun" trophy likely won't be done on the first playthrough.

[Q] - Can you play in windowed mode?
[A] - There aren't any options in the menu, but Alt+Enter works somewhat. It
needs to be redone if the window is left, though.
[Q] - This game worth getting?
[A] - Depends on what the price is. After all, it's pretty short -- I beat it
on a blind playthrough (no hints, no solutions, no walkthroughs, etc.)
in a few hours, and some of that time was just surfing the net and
idling!
[Q] - Any glitches?
[A] - The only thing I noticed was in the second swamp/lamp puzzle. Trying
to touch the blue one caused Aidan to cross the floating bridge, then
immediately head back and repeat ad nauseum. Quitting to menu and doing
it all over fixed things.
[Q] - What are those weird buttons that appear in some places?
[A] - I believe they're holdover icons from the Xbox version. They don't
have any meaning on the PC version and don't affect anything, so it's
just odd, not detrimental.
