I. INTRODUCTION
===============================================================================
This is a list of all of the buyable spells located in The Elder Scrolls IV:
Oblivion. You may have noticed a concentration of a certain spell type in
certain cities. Chorrol has more Conjuration spells, Anvil has more
Restoration (as do the Chapels located in each city), Skingrad has more
Destruction, Cheydinhal has more Alteration, Bravil has more Illusion, and
Leyawiin has more Mysticism. Bruma doesn't really have any concentration of one
spell type, but has a few from each category to choose from. The Imperial
City, especially the Arcane University, also has a bit from each category.
The amount of Magicka and amount of Septims it costs to use/buy each spell will
vary greatly. Magicka is affected by your skills and attributes, and the
Septims will be affected by their disposition, and the ability to "Haggle".
With the amounts I've given, all skills and attributes are at "50". I did this,
because it's in the middle, and will give you a general idea. If your skills
are higher, it will end up costing less Magicka, and if your skills are lower,
it will cost more. Keep that in mind. Also, I did not haggle with any of the
NPC's, and kept their disposition at the default level.
If you notice that an NPC that is listed in this guide does not have the option
to buy spells, try back at another time. Sometimes if an NPC is busy and you
interrupt them, especially if you wake them up, they will not have the option
available. Come back when they aren't doing anything, and the option should
appear.

If I left out any of the spell merchants, overlooked a spell that someone
carries, have incorrect information listed (for the most part, other than
Magicka cost and Septim cost), have spelling errors (which may make it hard to
CNTRL-F something), or if you have suggestions about a layout change, feel free

*NOTE* I have not found any merchants that carry Damage Attribute spells. I've
gotten quite a few emails about it, so if anyone manages to find someone that
sells them, let me know.
Do not ask me questions unrelated to this guide, because I likely won't answer
them. Do not send spam, or I will probably block your email address. Make sure
to actually look through this guide before sending an email. Also, I recognize
that Magicka and Septim cost will vary, and I acknowledged this in the
"Introduction" section. In other words, don't email me about that, unless of
course if you have a suggestion to make it work better than the way it is now.

IV. SPELL LIST

I have listed everyone in the game that I could find that sells spells. It's
possible that I overlooked some people, so please tell me if I did. When you
buy a spell, you must have that school of magic at a certain level before
purchasing specific spells, and I plan on including those levels in the next
update. I will try to get started on it soon. But until then, just realize that
the better spells are going to require you to be fairly well trained with that
school of magic.
Also, I organized the spells from each vendor and separated the different
schools of magic, starting with the one they have the most of. They are also
alphabetical in each category. Since I separated them, it should be fairly easy
to look up spells from a specific "school". For isntance, just CNTRL-F the word
"Conjuration" to find spells of that category.
It's a relatively simple design, but for clarification, this is how I set up
the information for each spell:
