How to use:
This FAQ will give a short guide to getting the event. Sometimes events won’t
trigger, and sometimes they will. If anyone tests any event to be perfect by
following a certain chain of events every time let me know and I'll give
a step by step for that event, and credit you.
If anyone finds the final event, please email me, and I will add it, with
thanks to you. :)
On with the FAQ:
1. The peach Garden Oath.
Play as Liu Bei, Zhang Fei, or Guan Yu in 189.
2. The seven star sword.
This event is seen by Dong Zhuo or Cao Cao, in the 189 scenario.
3. Mightier than the sword
Seen by Lu Bu (and perhaps Dong Zhuo as well), by playing in 189 as Lu Bu,
defecting to Dong Zhuo. Seems pretty random on timing, but eventually Wang Yun
will meet you in the castle, and introduce you to Diao Chan. Afterwards, you
will go to your home, and it will narrate you missing her, then you will go
through a series of events, culminating in your assassination of Zhuo.
4. A feat of Archery
Play as Lu Bu (and I assume Liu Bei, and Ji Ling) and let events transpire
that puts you in Xia Pi, Yuan Shao will attack Liu Bei, and Lu Bu will
intervene by saying he will hit his trident with an arrow from 150 paces. He
does so.
5. Dian Wei's Last Stand
Play as a created officer in 194, under cao cao; Probably helps to be in the
home city of cao cao. Let the events progress along, and you will eventually
get the event. If you're having a problem getting it to trigger, try resigning
and reapplying, after saving; if he doesnt take you back, reload.
6. In the Face of Death
I got it playing as Zhang Liao, but I think it could be done by Guan Yu,
Cao Cao, and Liu Bei. After the Archery Feat of 4, continue on the event
timeline and Cao Cao attacks, and defeats your army. He is going to kill Zhang
Liao, and Lu Bu, Guan Yu intervenes for Zhang, while Lu dies.
7. A dual Proposal
Starting as Sun Ce in 194, I conquered Wu, Hui Ji, and Chai Sang (in
that order), and transferred government to Chai Sang. Upon doing that a few
events transpired regarding Li Jue, and Lu Bu, etc. And after all of them, Ce
decided he was going to stay home, and Zhou Yu told him of his idea to marry
the two Qiaos.
8. Guan Yu's Journey
Seen by Guan Yu, in the 194 scenario, automatic more or less, Liu Bei gets
kidnapped and you walk through his events, going to Cao Cao, and then rescuing
Bei.
9. Appeal to a Dragon
Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei get this event. It starts by talking to Sima Hui,
wherever he is, then going to the tavern of your home city, where you meet Xu
Shu. Events proceed to have Cao Cao attack, and steal Xu Shu with the mother
trick, leading to the three visits.
10. Tragedy at Chang Ban
Play Zhao Yun in the 207 scenario. Talk to Sima Hui to get Xu Shu, do the three
visits event, then keep going through events until Cao Cao attacks you while
you're retreating. You save Liu Chan, but Mistress Mi kills herself for you to
escape.
11. Sun Quan’s Decision
Play as Zhou Yu in 207, let the events above transpire, up to Zhuge Liang, then
send Lu Su (you must do this manually, I believe), to Jiang Xia. I donated
for instance, and it will kick-start the starting Chi Bi Events, where Cao Cao
sends a request to surrender, you go back to Wu, and Sun Quan agrees to stand
and fight.
12. The ultimate loyalty
This was the intro Chi Bi event that I could never get, and I figured out the
problem: You must have a large number of troops in Chai sang...when I got it to
trigger, I had 50,000 or thereabouts, so while working on the other events,
try to get more troops, and it will happen automatically.
13. A prayer in the wind
Zhuge calls the wind, and disappears in a puff of smoke. If you get 11 and 12,
this one should be automatic.
14. Five Tiger Generals.
I received it as Huang Zhong, though I imagine all 5 tigers would work (Zhao
Yun, Huang Zhong, Zhang Fei, Guan Yu, and Ma Chao). You MUST NOT SAVE AND LOAD
between defeating Han Zhong and getting this event, if you do it will skip on
to Guan Yu's death
15. Victory or Death
Its the “Pang De vows to Kill Guan Yu” cutscene, I earned it by playing as a
created officer working for Wei in Xu Chang in the 217 scenario. You get
dragged along to Han Zhong battle, it happened shortly after that.
16 - Amidst the Autumn Rain
Play as any officer in Jian Ye for sure, I played as Zhou Tai however, and got
the event shortly after Han Zhong.
17. Forced Ascension
Cao Pi forces Emperor Xian to abdicate the throne, and becomes emperor. I got
it as a created officer under Cao Cao's forces. Cao cao dies, then shortly
after Pi decides he wants to be emperor.
18 - Stone Sentinel Maze
It took a tough battle, but I beat Liu Bei's attack and Lu Xun got caught in
the stone maze. Huang Chen Yan came to save me.
The key was to be employed by Wu before Liu Bei claims the title of emperor.
In other words, you must retire from Shu before Liu Feng dies or right after
Cao Pi takes the throne. You must retire from Shu at that time. After you
retire, while still in Cheng Du, you'll hear that Liu Feng has died.
Immediately leave and head for Jiang Ling. Once you arrive, you'll hear
that Liu Feng has died. Next, you must serve the prefect of Jiang Ling.
Since Lu Meng died, you may have to wait a bit. You have to serve at Jiang
Ling because if you don't, you won't be invited to the battle with Lu Xun and
Liu Bei.
Once you're employed, head over to Jian Ye. After council, head back to Jiang
Ling. As long as you're a vassal in Jiang Ling, you'll be invited to a battle.
Win that and you're set.
19. A Patriots Desire
Play as Zhuge Liang in 227, he gives his plan for the northern campaign.

20. A Regrettable Obligation
Ma Su fails to defend Jie Ting, disobeying Liangs orders. Through tears,
Liang Sentences Ma Su to death. :(
21 - One less star in the sky.
I got Zhuge's Death as a created officer. It cannot be had if you're playing
Zhuge, but there are MANY chances for you to mess up the chain of
events...
Don’t side with Wei Yans plan.
Don’t go with Ma Su (or if you do, agree to follow his plan, and don’t argue).
Other than that, after the Jie Ting event, eventually you should fight on
Wuzhang plains, lose (you are at a severe morale disadvantage), and then
Zhuge will pass his book to Jiang Wei, and die.
22. The Fall of Shu (Thanks Doimonkey)
1. Start as Guo Hai, in the 8th scenario.
2. Pool all units to Chang an, and take over Han Zhong.
3. Attack Wu Du immediately after, without going yourself ( send most or all of
your units, and ask for help from whatever city you can )
4. Right after the troops leave your city to attack, resign and go to Zi Tong
5. Enter and Exit the castle until Jiang Wei becomes the prefect. On the same
day Jiang Wei becomes the prefect, join Shu. Leave the city, and you should get
the event.
Condition: Shu must have less than 100,000 troops.
