INTRODUCTION
============
Recettear is the tale of a young girl who has to deal with the aftereffects
of her father's disappearance. While most of us have someone else to count
on, poor Recette has to deal with the enourmous debt herself. Can Recette
and her new fairy accountant Tear, who is totally not her sister, deal with
this avalanche of Pix? Only you can decide how to run your item shop and
where this tale's future will end up. Hopefully... it's not a cardboard box.
Are you ready? Then say it with me...
Capitalism, ho!

++VERSION HISTORY++
+++++++++++++++++++
+++++++++++++++++++
V. 1.0: July 23-24, 2011
After being randomly linked to the FAQ bounty page, I realized that this
game SOMEHOW didn't have a complete version up. It seems that several others
have tried, but they just lost interest/didn't have time to finish one.
Seeing as how I loved this game to pieces and I'm a somewhat experienced FAQ
creator, I decided to make one.
In this update:
-Basic skeleton made
-Basic control scheme done
-Basic rundown of characters done
-Hall of Trials done
-Jade Way done
-Amber Garden done
-Some basic info for Obsidian Tower and Crystal Nightmare
-Arranging Your Shop section basics and tips done
-Detailed explanation on Atmosphere done
-Contact Information set
-Legal junk set
First attempt at submittion now. Let's pray for the best.
V. 1.1: July 24-25, 2011
Yayifications! The FAQ was accepted on try one! Time to continue putting meat
on this bad boy's bones. I've already thought of some upgrades I can make to
content that I've already put down, like a better chart to show the preferred
atmosphere of the customers. That's for after this guide is complete, though.
You can't ice the cake without baking it first, right? Now let's get baking.
In this update:
-Obsidian Tower done
-Crystal Nightmare done
-Fusion Rank 1 items done
-Credits set
The walkthrough itself should be finished by the next version, so stay tuned
for that. I can't guide you step-by-step due to the several varying factors
in this game. However, I CAN help you earn more money to erase that debt
easily. Also, I'm changing around the game's definition a bit for this. Since
I can't exactly guide you to the end of the debt, I'll guide you to the end
of the game's story.
V. 1.2: April 7-8, 2013
I'm back to give this poor, abandoned guide one last touch-up before finally
sending it on its way. After 2 Years, there isn't much else I plan to add.
However, finishing what I left open way back when is a top priority. Consider
this update a warm-up for the upcoming gameplay/walkthrough update in V. 1.3.
In this update:
-Fusion Rank 2 items done
-Fusion Rank 3 items done
-Fusion Rank 4 items done
-Fusion Rank 5 items done
-Controls revamped to be significantly more detailed
-Added Skills section for each of the Adventurers
-Made the Table of Contents more detailed
-Minor formating corrections spread out around the guide

This following section is a compendium of all the characters in the game.
Well... characters that aren't enemies, I mean. Wait.. characters that were
enemies but now aren't... Yeah. Those too.
The form is as follows:

+Recette+
+++++++++
Recette is the heart and soul of this game. With an everlasting smile and
an endless sweet tooth, no wonder she's loved by the community. She's one of
two main characters, but the only one you get to control.
Status: Main Character
How to Recruit: Available in the beginning

Preferred Atmosphere: N/A
Likes: Candy
Budget: N/A
Equips: N/A
Notes: Recette doesn't battle, so she requires no equipment.
++++++
+Tear+
++++++
Tear is an agent from the bank to collect the debt Recette has to handle. She
makes Recette's life easier by having the debt payed in snowballing
installments. She claims to not have any emotional ties to Recette, but you'll
see how that goes. In the end, this fairy will be your ally to the end. She's
the second main character, but isn't able to be controlled.

How to Recruit: Available in the beginning

Notes: Tear doesn't battle, so she requires no equipment.
When you're in your shop, Tear randomly flies around the shop and
brushes your items.
Just in case you haven't caught on, she's a fairy.
++++++
+Arma+
++++++
The first time you see Arma, you assume.... nothing, really. She's just
sorta standing and looking through your shop's window. Once you start
talking to her, things just get even more confusing. How does she not know
about PIX? It makes the world go round! She sure is a strange one. Who knows
what mysteries surround her...

=Skills=
[Vector Cannon]
---------------
A mysterious, hard to control super-weapon built into Arma. What's its
purpose?
Cost: Maximum SP
After a long charge-up time, a massive beam of power will explode forward and
annihiliate virtually every enemy unfortunate to be in the way. The only
enemies able to stand after withstanding such an attack are knights due to
their shield ability and the stronger bosses. Weaker bosses will be taken
out of commission.
+++++++++
+Caillou+
+++++++++
No, he's not a bald little kid with a yellow shirt. He is still a kid, though.
Caillou is a smart child for his age. However, he's not smart enough to figure
that our candy-loving girl Recette is the owner of the store. He simply
refuses to believe it, actually. At least he's a powerful battle mage.
Status: Adventurer
How to Recruit: Beat Jade Way
Reach Merchant Level 7

Accept his Business Card once he offers it

=Skills=
[Pyrobomb]
----------
Create an explosion centered on Caillou.
Cost: 5 SP
Think of Pyrobomb as Caillou's method of getting some breathing space. If
enemies are starting to surround you, pop it and get out as soon as you can.
You CAN run up to enemies and use it, but I advise against it.
[Ice Mine]
----------
Create a block of ice. Enemies that touch it take damage.
Cost: 5 SP
Ice Mine is better used as part of a defensive strategy. Simply lay one down
behind you while enemies are chasing you and watch the fun.
[Sparkburst]
------------
Fires off a torrent of arcane missiles, penetrating any darkness.
Cost: 5 SP on initial trigger, but can spend more to continue skill
by holding X
Caillou holds his ground and fires off several projectiles in a cone-shaped
area in front of him. You can continue the attack by holding X if you need
more power. Even though Caillou can't move while this attack is being used,
you're still able to change the direction he's facing.
[Gemini Force]
--------------
A pair of magic shields which orbit Caillou. Send flying with the attack
button!
How to Learn: Reach Level 25
Cost: 25 SP
Two orbs and a few more appear around Caillou. They protect him from enemies
that get too close. If you press the attack button, the orbs will fly out and
home in on any nearby enemies. If there is no enemy close enough, the orbs
will just continue to float.
[Warp]
------
Warp Caillou to another area on the dungeon floor
How to Learn: Reach Level 30
Cost: 5 SP
It's the same as triggering one of the warp trap chests. Caillou is
transported to a different part of the dungeon floor. Nothing much to it. It's
the ultimate escape mechanism, though.
++++++++
+Charme+
++++++++
You know that one chick that's always a theif and can cut you down in just a
few seconds? Yeah. Charme's that type of chick. She's not violent, though.
Violence is the least of your problems with her. Don't take her to a bar and
don't bring her to any kind of knight.
Status: Adventurer
How to Recruit: Defeat her in Jade Way
Have Charme visit the store and chat with Tear
Increase your relationship with her via shopping deals
Have Charme visit a second time and accept her business card
Shopping Times: Noon, Evening, Night
Preferred Atmosphere: 3 Dark
4 Gaudy
Likes: Charms

Budget: Min 3000
Max 300,000
Equips: Daggers

Rings
Notes: She can run by double-tapping in the direction you want to run. Be
careful when doing this, though, since running into an enemy will hurt
you and running into a wall will knock you down.
She can parry by tapping the direction the attack is coming from. If
performed correctly, blue sparks will fly out and the attack will be
negated.
If you stand next to a chest with her and an exclamation point
appears above her head, then the chest is a trap. Use this to your
advantage if you need to be really careful.
=Skills=
[Mirror Image]
--------------
Create a shadow image which will mirror all your actions
Cost: 5 SP
You can create up to 5 clones of yourself with this technique. They'll all
disappear after some time has passed, but very useful for when you're
pressing the offensive on a group of enemies.
[Flame Charge]
--------------
Charme charges forward, flame in her hands!
Cost: 5 SP
As an attack, it's relatively terrible. However, the greatest use of this
attack comes from the distance you travel when you use it. You can dodge
attacks, escape from traps, close in on running enemies, get away from those
nasty ropers, and more. The possibilities are endless.
[Shadow Weave]
--------------
Places a sticky net on the ground. Enemies who step on it cannot move.
How to Learn: Reach Level 20
Cost: 5 SP
The uses of this attack aren't as numerous as those of Flame Charge, but
they're still there. You can place on down at a chokepoint to get some easy
kills or use it as an offensive attack on an annoying enemy. If you need to
make a safe retreat, lay a Shadow Weave down and escape with Flame Charge.
++++++
+Elan+
++++++
Elan is the big, muscley, cuddly, boo-boo bear that cares for the children
at the Pensee Orphanage. Ssshhh. don't tell anyone, though. He's a
priest-in-training, as well as a Black Belt. However, he sometimes has some
minor money troubles... Totally not due to his drinking habits, by the way/
Status: Adventurer
How to Recruit: Complete Jade Way
See him during one of Charme's events at the pub
Visit the merchant's guild in the morning

Max 50,000

Shoes
Rings
Notes: He moves fairly quickly. Feel the burn for your religion.
His attack range is the smallest in the game, but he has very powerful
attacks. Using him takes patience and timing.
=Skills=
[Flame Charge]
--------------
Elan plows the road, fire erupting from his fists!
Cost: 5 SP
If this skill sounds familiar, that's because it should be. Charme has her own
version of this attack. The uses of it hasn't changed, but be wary. Elan's
Flame Charge activates slower than Charme's.
[Fist Flurry]
--------------
Elan unleashes an absurd monsoon of knuckles and pain ahead of himself.
Cost: 20 SP
This skill is extremely useful against one enemy, but still shines in rooms
with multiple ones. During the attack, Elan is invincible.
[Berserk]
---------
Elan feels The Fury. He hits VERY hard, but can't use items!
How to Learn: Reach Level 20
Cost: 5 SP
While in Berserk mode, you can't use any items. However, damage is increased
and you only take half the damage from all attacks. If you're not too low on
health or SP and need a quick burst of power, Berserk is what you need.
+++++++
+Griff+
+++++++
He's a demon! Run for your life! With his claws and assassin-style, you're
most likely going to get shredded if you don't get out of his way. In the
beginning, he's nothing but a jerk to Recette and Tear. After seeing the
error of his ways, however, (by beating him to a pulp) he'll eventually
concede to the magic of friendship.

Notes: He can dash by double-tapping in the direction you want to dash. His
dash is more like a walking teleport, as he becomes intangible and
walks through enemies.
=Skills=
[Dark Claw]
-----------
Griff charges forward, attempting to tear the enemy in two!
Cost: 10 SP
Just like Charme and Elan's Flame Charge, Dark Claw is a quick movement
ability. However, Dark Claw has the advantage of actually dealing notable
damage.
[Demon Soul]
------------
Griff becomes a demonic avatar of destruction... and can't use items!
Cost: 20 SP
Just like Elan's Berserk, attack and defense stats are greatly increase in
this state. Items are also restricted, so take caution. Try to use this onli
if you know you won't need the item assistance.
[Vampire Vortex]
----------------
Griff sucks foes into the darkness, stealing their precious HP!
Cost: 30 SP
This skill makes Griff one of the deadliest adventurers to use. The threat
from this skill comes in three different punches.
1) The skill heals Griff as it deals damage to enemies
2) Griff can attack while enemies are sucked into the vortex the attack makes
3) The skill can be cast again even while another is active
If you're in a serious punch, start chaining Vampire Vortexes. If you really
want to be cheap, use this technique on bosses, too, as most of them are still
affected by it.
+++++++
+Louie+
+++++++
Mah boy. This kind of character balance is what all true heroes fight for.
Louie is the first adventurer available to you. His stats are
unsurprsingly balanced. The only thing about him that isn't stable is his
cash flow. Poor guy.
Status: Adventurer
How to Recruit: Visit the Adventurer's Guild after Day 2

Notes: Even though his max budget is 50,000, there are instances of him
spending over 100,000. He's holding back...
He controls a bit like Link from the 2D Zelda games. His shield even
negates attacks that hit it!
=Skills=
[Spin Slash]
------------
Slash while spinning about. Useful when surrounded.
Cost: 5 SP
Trigger this skill if enemies are starting to close in on you. It's also
pretty handy against knights, since the wide attack arc tends to confuse
them.
[Vacuum Blade]
--------------
Louie's might swing cuts the air. Useful against distant targets.
How to Learn: Reach Level 10
Cost: 5 SP
If you're having trouble closing in on an enemy with melee attacks, throw a
few Vacuum Blades at it. Nothing much to it.
++++++
+Nagi+
++++++
Huh? How'd Nagi end up here? It confuses me, too. Nagi is a well-mannered
young woman with a poor sense of direction. She's more intelligent than she
lets on, however, so don't go knocking her down. With a kimono and a spear
in hand, the only appropriate word I can use right now is "moe".
Status: Adventurer
How to Recruit: Find her in any dungeon after Day 9
Speak with her in a dungeon four times
Find her in the shop the first time
When she appears a second time, accept her Business Card
Shopping Times: Morning, Noon, Evening
Preferred Atmosphere: 4 Light

Max 300,000

Notes: She has one of the longest attack ranges in the game. Abuse this.
She can dash by double-tapping in the direction you want to dash. You
can't change direction while in a dash. If you hit an enemy with your
spear, then the enemy takes some damage and Nagi jumps back a bit.
=Skills=
[Flame Charge]
--------------
Nagi bathes her lance in flame and charges forth!
Cost: 5 SP
Another copy and paste ability. Simply put, use this primarily to move around
the battlefield. The damage is deals to enemies is negligible.
[Hundred Thrusts]
-----------------
Nagi thrusts with the spear faster than the eye can see!
Cost: 8 SP
At first glance, this skill should be a decent choice for attacking. However,
Nagi is unable to move until the skill finishes and she can still be hit while
she attacks. If there's more than one enemy in the room, this can be a very
dangerous gamble. Use wisely.
[Spin Slash]
------------
Slash while spinning about. Nagi's spear gives this good range.
How to Learn: Reach Level 20
Cost: 10 SP
Just like the description says, this attack has a wider range compared to
Louie's. However, the damage dealt is slightly less, so keep that in
consideration.
[Vacuum Spear]
--------------
Nagi rips open a hole in the air and fires it forward as a wave.
How to Learn: Reach Level 30
Cost: 5 SP
Just like Louie's Vacuum Blade, Vacuum Spear is a relatively reliable
projectile attack for a character that relies primarily on short-range
attacks.
++++++++
+Tielle+
++++++++
With an everlasting smile andan endless sweet tooth, no wonder she's loved by
the community. No, I'm not talking about Recette, I'm talking about Tielle!
She's a little elven girl who, unsuprisingly, wields a bow. This isn't just
bow, however. It can fill the screen with several arrows of pain and raining
beams of light that can destroy all! I'm not even kidding this time! This is
one little girl that you don't want to mess with.
Status: Adventurer
How to Recruit: Beat Jade Way

Notes: Her running speed is pretty fast, but she can't dash.
You're a DPS machine if you use her correctly. Just... don't get hit
too much.
You can charge your normal attacks for more power and arrows, up to a
level 6 charge. This easily clears more screens of enemies.
=Skills=
[Flame Arrow]
-------------
Fires an intense, piercing arrow directly ahead
Cost: 4 SP
The arrow pierces through all enemies in its path, including knights. If all
the enemies are lining up, for whatever reason, launch one or two of these to
clear them out.
[Seeker Arrow]
--------------
This arrow will seek out foes and try to chase them down!
Cost: 5 SP
Using one by itself is somewhat effective in battle. However, three active
seeker arrows have the ability to clear out a room if done properly. If you
ever feel like using this ability, send it out in small groups for maximum
effectiveness.
[Starshot Arrow]
----------------
Fire a torrent of arrows upwards which then rain down like meteors!
Cost: 8 SP
Some enemies are locked onto during this attack, while some aren't. However,
don't rely too heavily in the lock-on ability. Enemies that are constantly on
the move have the tendency to completely avoid this attack. Use it against
clustered foes, slow foes, or both.
[Cuterage!]
-----------
Tielle gets serious and can charge her shots much faster!
How to Learn: Reach Level 25
Cost: 10 SP
The activation of this skill paralyzes nearby opponents and increases your
basic attack charging speed. Don't bother using any other skills while this
effect is active, since it's just a waste. Despite this being Tielle's version
of Berserk, she can still use items while under the effect. Neat!
++++++++++
+Alouette+
++++++++++
You honestly thought you were the only general store in town? HA! Think again.
Not while Alouette's in town. She's the daughter of the owner of the maket
chain Big Bash. Not only that, but she's your self-proclaimed rival? How rude!
At least she has the big PIx with her. Maybe she has a soft side...?

Did one of your friends in the town just get scammed? Chances are that your
friend had a brush with this infamous con-artist known as Euria. Not only is
she hated in the game, but she's hated by the Recettear-playing community
as well. Someone that innocent-looking can't be all that bad, though, right?

++GAMEPLAY++
++++++++++++
++++++++++++
Recettear, though light-hearted, has several deep details about it that are
sometimes hard to figure out. Okay, there aren't really too many, but there
definitely are some things in the game that need a slight bit of explanation.
This section is dedicated to the parts of this game that make it slightly more
complicated than some would want.
++++++++++++
+Atmosphere+
++++++++++++
The game doesn't completely rely on an RNG (Random Number Generator) to
determine what customers come into your store each day. The main factor that
determines what customers you get is atmosphere
Atmosphere is the overall feel of your store. If you have items that make your
shop look gaudy, then the gaudiness of your store will go up. Atmosphere
plays a major role in determining what characters will do business with you.
Some characters are even limited to a certain atmospheric setting. This
is a list of characters by atmosphere. If there's no name and number for a
character in one of the section, it means that character has no affinity for
that particular kind of atmosphere.

[08]Tielle [13]Griff [06]Old Man [03]Nagi

Now then, let me try to make a chart to help you understand what this means.

Let's throw out a hypothetical. Let's say that my atmosphere mark aka
Recette's adorable head is hovering all the way to the far Plain side and
just a bit more than halfway up the Light side. That gives me an atmosphere
of 6 Light and 10 Plain. With this atmospheric rating, I'll most likely have
Elan visit. I also have a moderate chance of attracting Girl, Nagi, Tielle,
Louie, and Old Man visit. On the other hand, I have a slim-to-none chance of
having Alouette and Euria drop on by.

+Arranging Your Shop+
+++++++++++++++++++++
The in-game tutorial of arranging your shop actually covers a lot. I'm just
making this section for those that need a recap. I'll also add a few more tips
that can make your life as a shop owner much easier.
*-Arranging Your Counters-*
First, make sure your customers are able to reach your items. Pretty basic,
really. Your customers can't buy what they can't reach.
Second, have as many slots in the windows as you can. This way, you'll be able
to have more slots for showcase items, attracting more customers. You'll know
when an item is a showcase item when it's sparkling. Don't necessarily rely
on where the sun is shining.
Next, vending machines aren't technically an upgrade to your counters. Vending
machines are simply an alternative to sell items that you have a surplus of in
bulk without you manuall haggling. The downside is that the item will always
be sold at it's base price. Whether the item is in demand (name in red) or out
of season (name in blue) vending machines will always sell the items in them
at base price.
*-Selling Your Items-*
In the beginning, selling your items seems like a very basic task. In truth,
it sorta is. Simply find your customer's sweet spot of buying/selling percent
and fire at it every time that customer comes up. However, there are some
things that you have to be aware of.
You've noticed that sometimes a heart appears next to a character whenever you
sell to them, right? That heart means that you've gained enough trust with
that character to level up your relationship. The higher your relationship
is, the more that customer is likely to spend. Customers with high
relationship levels also have a higher chance of selling better items. Note
that selling via vendor does not increase your relationship.
Pay attention to items that have their names in red or blue. Don't forget to
alter your buying/selling price in order to reflect the need of the item.
Speaking of items with altered prices, you can use this to your advantage
when fulfilling and advance order. When you fulfill and advance order, you're
selling more than one item. Some of these may be red, blue, or have their
prices stable. However, for advance orders, the object at the top of the list
(the first object you select) is the one that you base the price on. If your
first item has it's price increased while everything else is down, just
pretend you're selling that one red item!
One last major thing that you have to pay attention to are Just combos.
These combos can give you a massive boost in merchant EXP. There are
several ways to start a combo, but it's up to you to maintain it. The first
way is to continually buy and sell items without your customer complaining
about the price. You can always try playing it safe by selling lower and
buying higher than you usually do, you'll miss out on the pin bonuses.
Pin bonuses are bonuses awarded to you by buying or selling to your customers
at a price close to or near what they expect. The Near Pin is the easiest to
get. You prerequisite is to have the price close to what the customer is
expecting, giving you 15 bonus EXP. The other bonus you can get is a Just Pin,
where you buy or sell exactly or extremely close to the exact price the
customer expects, netting you a cool 30 EXP.
You might be asking right now, why do I need to know all of this stuff about
selling? Combos aren't really necessary, right? Well, you're right. However,
combos greatly increase the amount of merchant EXP you earn. The higher your
merchant EXP, the higher your merchant level. Depending on your merchant
level, you'll have several bonuses. This is a complete list of the rewards you
get for reaching certain merchant levels.

Bosses: [05F] The Crowned Slime
[10F] Reginald Drisby
[15F] Charme
Boss Strategies: [Crowned Slime]
Level: 5
HP: 180
The first boss battle is as easy as can be. Simply avoid
being near the Crowned Slime. If you try to attack him
head-on, your attacks will be brushed off like nothing and
you'll run the risk of being stomped on. Every time he jumps,
he gets smaller and weaker. After two jumps, he'll be at his
weakest. That's your golden chance to attack him. To keep
this up, make sure to kill any Blue Slimes that get near him,
as they'll restore his size.
[Reginald Drisby]
Level: 8
HP: 360
Reginald Drisby's fate is sealed in the mushrooms that sprout
out of the ground. The red mushrooms heal him, while the
purple mushrooms stun him and give you an opening to attack.
He has an abnormal defense, so don't attack him upfront.
Instead, run around the arena and clear away the red
mushrooms. This forces Reginald to eat the purple mushrooms
that stun him. Use that stun time to deal your damage.
[Charme]
Level: 10
HP: 280
Charme's a pretty tough boss if you're not prepared. With my
FAQ, you should be. She's very nimble and her attacks are
swift. Watch out for the nets she throws out. Running into
them will cut your running speed and give her an opening. If
she ever suddenly pauses and says something, get out of her
way. She'll lunge in the direction she's facing with fire
surrounding her. The best way is to bait that attack, run
behind her, and abuse the time she has to recover from that
attack. Otherwise, suck it up and duel her face to face.
Her defense isn't high, so you'll be doing your full damage
outpit the whole time.

[10F] The Insect King
[20F] Volcanicrab
[25F] The Crowned Slime (2)
[30F] Tielle
Boss Strategies: [Eyebat King]
Level: 13
HP: 510
This battle reminds me of those old school shooter games with
dozens of enemies and large flying lasers. The Eyebat King
isn't your only problem here. Several other Eyebats have
joined the fight to protect their king. Kill what Eyebats
you can to get them out of your way and aim for the massive
king. When he starts charging power, stay clear out of his
line of sight. He will fire off a massive laser with an
equally massive area of effect. That's the only clear
danger in this fight. Avoid it and the battle is yours.
[The Insect King]
Level: 15
HP: 570
The creepy-crawly Insect King is more annoying than hard. The
battle is similar to the Eyebat King battle due to several
of the boss' underlings joining the fray. The problem? These
minions are bees. They're much harder to hit than Eyebats and
can slow you down, making you target practice for the boss'
signature rolling attack. Try using an attack that can clear
away bees quickly so that you have a clear shot at the Insect
King. Without his bee minions, he's very easy.
[Volcanicrab]
Level: 17
HP: 713
ERUPTION! Watch out for the Volcanicrab's signature attack
that sends out a firestorm, dealing massive damage to those
near it. He also spits out a stream of bubbles that can be
hard to dodge if you're still trying to keep your distance.
The main problem is that every attack you'll land will deal
no damage at all. He's covered in stone! Solution? Do you see
that red bomb floating around? Activate it and put it
underneath or near enough to the Volcanicrab to flip it
over. Every gamer should know what flipping over a shelled
enemy means, right? Now attack that soft underside like
there's no tomorrow!
[The Crowned Slime (2)]
Level: 18/18
HP: 440/440
The Crowned Slime is back, and this time he brought a friend.
The same strategy from the previus Crowned Slime battle still
holds truth here. Avoid it's attacks until it goes down two
sizes and attack it while destroying the blue slimes that
threaten to disturb your whaling upon it's king. The main
difference is that you're watching out for two of these
things now instead of one.
[Tielle]
Level: 20
HP: 720
Tielle's a tough character, so it's very appropriate that her
boss battle can make you want to tear your hair out. This
boss battle is divided into 4 major parts.
Stage One has Tielle firing arrows at you behind several
boxes. Simply clear a path to Tielle and get near her to
advance to Stage Two. There's a problem, however. The
monsters are working with her to protect her. Avoid taking
too much damage and press forward.
Stage Two is similar to Stage One... but this time, Tielle
is hiding out in one of the boxes! Find out which box she's
hiding in and destroy it. If you pay close attention to the
arrows she's firing, you can estimate which area her box is
located.
Stage Three has Tielle hiding in a box once again. This time,
however, you can't approximate her location by looking at her
attacks. You'll have to destroy the boxes until you find
the one containing Tielle.
Stage Four initiates once you find Tielle's location in
Stage Three. Since she's out of places to run, she starts
fighting back at you in the open. Simply avoid her arrows
and attack from anywhere but the front. Her blind spot covers
her sides and back, making this duel relatively easy.

[20F] Terran Golem
[30F] Griff
[40F] Insect King (2)
[45F] The Gauntlet
[50F] Griff and the Archdevil's Arm
Boss Strategies: [Samhain]
Level: 28
HP: 960
Samhain is like one of those Floating Jack-o-Lanterns that
you've been fighting up until now, but with some key changes.
First, Samhain has a body. Second, Samhain doesn't float
towards you, but away from you. This can be a real problem
for the melee adventurers, since they have to move up
close to between attacks. Also, Samhain continually
disappears and reappears. Just try to keep your attacks
up and avoid the pumpkin buddies he continually summons.
[Electrojelly]
Level: 29
HP: 660
Electrojelly can be one of the easier boss battles if you

read it's attack patterns correctly. First, don't aim
directly at it's center. Instead, aim at it's tentacles.
Those are the vulnerable parts. However, it's also
Electrojelly's main form of attack. Stand back and out of
the range of the tentacles and attack the tips. If you
keep your distance properly, his two main melee attacks, a
whip/slap attack with a single tentacle and spinning around
like a fan, should just barely graze you. The only real
annoyance in this battle, like several other boss battles,
are the minions that are summoned to attack you. In this
case, however, there are only a few at a time.
[Eyebat King]
Level: 30/30
HP: 680/680
The Eyebat King has brought a friend with him. Now there are
TWO massive eye lasers to look out for. If you have an attack
that can hit an area, then try to hit both of them at once.
If not, focus on killing down one Eyebat King first. As soon
as one goes down, then it's just like the normal Eyebat King
fight. When the eye lasers start going out, though, run.
Those hitboxes aren't getting any smaller. With two lasers
out, the screen is practically plagued with danger.
[Terran Golem]
Level: 32
HP: 1080
If your adventurer is either slow, has low defense, or has
low HP, then you'll have to go all-out in this battle. Terran
Golem is a slow heavy-hitting boss. If you see one of his
arms go up, run to the side. That thing is gonna be
slamming back to the ground. If he start charging energy,
run away. He's gonna spin around like Electrojelly. Finally,
when he jumps in the air, do not sit still. He's gonna slam
back down to your position with some delay. Every time he's
finished with one of these attacks, rush in and take out more
HP from him. He's buff, but at least he's slow. There are
also some minor enemies that pop up now and then, but you can
make quick work of them.
[Griff]
Level: 33
HP: 1480
Griff is one of the more annoying bosses in the game. His
battle is somewhat similar to Charme's, but not really. His
main attack is similar to Charme's main attack. He pauses and
charges in one direction quickly. The pause after this is
enough for a few quick attacks. It's easy to bait this, dodge
the attack completely, and pounce on his ending
vulnerability. Another attack is similar to the Fire Bomb's
magic ring. He sounds out five rings that scatter briefly
before closing in on your position and sending up a plume of
fire. Simply run erradicately around the arena and waste the
attack on an empty space.
Once Griff's HP falls to around 15% of it's original value,
then he learns some new tricks. He'll teleport to the far top
or bottom of the screen and unleash a cone of bats that's
hard to avoid. Two bats will stay and help him fight you. At
this point, adopt the hit-and-run strategy. Hitting him twice
will cause him to fall over and become invulnerable. Once he
gets up, he'll unleash an attack that covers a wide area near
him. Be careful out there.
[Insect King (2)]
Level: 34/34
HP: 1140/1140
Rollin'. Rollin'. Rollin' in an arena. Now there are two of
these dastardly Insect Kings to deal with, and their bee
minions aren't letting up the assault. I advise staying in
the middle and abusing your area attacks when bees are
starting to crowd around you. Staying in the middle also
let's you quickly dodge and attack back rolling Insect
Kings. You can go for them one at a time if you want, but
I'd prefer to play it safe and pay attention to both of them.
[The Gauntlet]
Level: 35
HP: 780
The battle against The Gauntlet is very straightforward. At
this point in the game, you should have already fought and
defeated one of the Knight enemies. This battle is like
fighting a Knight with more HP and a stronger attack, but an
easier to penetrate shield with a longer strike chance.
Dodge his attack and rush back in to attack. Very simple.
Do keep on your toes, though. That one attack is still very
strong. The three other knights assisting him doesn't help
you much, either.
[Griff and the Archedvil's Arm]
Level: 37
HP: 1640
This battle is essentially the same as the normal Griff
battle. The main difference, however, is the Archdevil's
Arm floating around the battlefield. Griff's attack
pattern doesn't change. If you want to read more about it,
scroll up to read the entry on him. The Archdevil's Arm
is what you really gotta watch for. It's main attack is a
laser blast that sweeps half of the battlefield. A thin beam
cuts through the middle, expands to full power, and sweeps up
or down in an alternating pattern. After three sweeps, it
flies upwards and slams down on your position with a slight
delay. As long as you constantly move about, this attack
poses little threat to you. Handle this battle like an
"amped" Griff battle and you should be fine.

HP: 1410/1410
There might be two Samhains to deal with now, but the
difficulty here is pretty much the same. Both of them are
just going to to be chilling and floating around the arena.
Their only real attack is their summoning of little pumpkin
allies to help. Just press your offensive and thise battle
should be done in no time.
[Reginald Drisby]
Level: 44
HP: 1440
Reginald's back with a vengeance. He upgraded his old crowbar
for a... paper fan? Wha...? Anyways, nothing much about this
fight changes from the previous version. Take away his supply
of red mushrooms and stun him when he eats the purple ones.
Poor poor Reginald...
[Eyebat King (3)]
Level: 45/45/45
HP: 980/980/980
I don't recommend going through with this boss battle if you
haven't seen sunlight in a long time. You thought two massive
lasers flying through the screen wasn't enough? Try three!
Obviously, it's very dangerous to traverse this arena with
all of these lasers. Bring them down one at a time. Always go
for an opportunity to attack all three at once. Don't forget
about their roaming minions, however. They still pose a
threat to throwing off your groove.
[Insect King (3)]
Level: 46/46/46
HP: 1500/1500/1500
If you didn't hate insects before, you will now. With three
of these Insect Kings rolling all over the battlefield, you
pretty much have to follow their movements VERY carefully.
Like before, stay in the middle to avoid better and to have
a better reach to all three Kings. Bring all of them down
and be wary of the bees. Even letting one hit you can be VERY
risky. As soon as you're slowed, the Insect Kings can go to
town all over you.
[Crowned Slime (3)]
Level: 47/47/47
HP: 1020/1020/1020
Blobs galore! Three bouncing slimes all over the place is
exponentially more dangerous than just one. Just like before,
avoid them for a few attacks until they're two sizes smaller
than normal. That will always be your golden opportunity to
attack. Keeping away those pesky blue slimes can be a bit
tougher than normal, due to three Kings out there to kill
you.
[Samhain (3)]
Level: 48/48/48
HP: 1560/1560/1560
Samhain? Again? But we just defeated you and your friend a
few floors ago! Ah well. After all that, he STILL isn't much
of a threat. Press the offensive like usual on all three of
them. Just watch out for the flame rings. They weren't much
of a threat beforehand, but "power in numbers" as they say.
[Electrojelly]
Level: 49
HP: 1060
Electrojelly turned from blue to red. He must be pretty mad,
huh? He must be, since his whip attack got a nice little
upgrade. Instread of whipping in your direction with one
tentacle, he whips in two directions with both. I guess you
can't run around him as safely as you could before, huh? Oh
well. Just keep your distance like before and pummel those
tentacles into submission. Watch out for those lightning
bolts, though. Those hurt.
[Arma]
Level: 50
HP: 2700
Arma's a very tough boss. Why? She can literally flood your
screen with her attack. Her main attack consists of her
launching four blades outward and reel them back in. The
blades do damage only on their way back, not on their way
out. Another dangerous attack of hers is a flamethrower. Once
it's out, it travels along for a bit before stopping. The
remains in the arena for a while before going out. If this
hits, she has a decent chance of following up with a rocket
launcher. It's easy to dodge, but will cause serious damage
if it hits. Watch out. Her gatling gun is also a fairly easy
attack to dodge, due to it's low range. However, it can rack
up damage fairly quickly. If she's charging energy, then get
out of her way as soon as you can. She's charging her Vector
Cannon, which can wipe out your HP quicker than Gatling Gun.
The way to defeat Arma is to constantly move around her. She
has several dangerous attack, but almost all of them rely on
you to be in her line of sight. Barrage her with attacks from
the back and side. Pay attention to the blades that are on
their way back, as they can throw off your momentum. Do not
give Arma a chance to attack if you're low on HP. It's a
tough duel, but you should be able to handle it.
[The Gauntlet (2)]
Level: 51/51
HP: 1100/1100
It's twin Gauntlet time. Now two of those black knights are
after you. The danger level here is still relatively minimal
compared to the current location you're in. Their defense is
still easily penetrated. Your main worry here, like the
previous Gauntlet battle, is their only attack. Ranged, large
hitbox, and packs a punch. With two of those black knights,
they can juggle you right into the swords of their little
minions. However, simply press the offensive like you would
against a regular knight enemy. THese guys are tough, but
they're not THAT tough.
[Reginald Drisby]
Level: 52
HP: 1680
Reginald's back once again. This time he's serious! He tossed
away that whimsy old paper fan and brought his final ultimate
weapon! The.... fish? ...Alright. With the fish, his normal
attack combo is now up to 3; two swipes and a downwards slam.
He's still Reginald, however, so our mushroom buddies are
still growing all over the place. If anything, this is the
easiest Reginald battle. If his attacks miss, he'll be
swiping at the air for a fairly long time, giving you a long
opportunity to destroy any red mushrooms. Avoid his attacks
once again and wait until he consumes a purple mushroom.
Once he's down, unleash all hell.
[Terran Golem]
Level: 53
HP: 1710
The Terran Golem battle hasn't changed much from your
previous encounter. He IS still very powerful and can chip
large chunks off of your HP. The main difference between this
battle and the previous battle are the little minions.
Instead of just one, there's two breathing down your back
now. They're still easily dispatched, however, so go as you
please. Simply stay on the move and this battle shouldn't
pose too much of a threat.
[Volcanicrab]
Level: 54
HP: 1740
The Volcanicrab rematch is a lot tougher than the previous
encounter. His attacks are still relatively unchanged.
What you have to look out for are the bombs that are
supposed to help you. There's no logner just that one red
bomb type. You have several more joining the fray. Only one
colored bomb is usually out on the field, however. If you
want an easier time with this battle, memorize the time it
takes for the bombs to go off. That way, you can rush in
faster and abuse the Volcanicrab's weakness more.
[The Geddon Device]
Level: 55
HP: 3540/1180
As the final boss, The Geddon Device is obviously pretty
tough. The battle itself is unique too. Instead of one of the
generic arenas we've been through, this one consists of
several linked-together hexagons. Periodically, some of these
drop and are gone from the arena. The longer this battle
takes, the less room you'll have to use. The boss itself is
pretty unique, as well. Though there's only one main boss,
there are two main parts to attack. The torso itself has
three attacks. One is 5-ring flame attack. You should have no
worries if you don't stay still. The second is a massive
lightning barrage of the arena. Be careful of where you're
going, or else you're gonna get struck. The final one is an
amped up bazooka. It's hard to spot at first, but that
massive explosion is undeniable. The arms, in comparison,
have only one attack. The arms simply sweep lasers across
the arena. After around 4 sweeps, then they change their
pattern. The final unique thing about this arena is the
borders. Unlike other boss battles, you're able to fall off
here and lose some HP. WAtch your step, alright?
What you want to do in this fight is completely ignore the
arms for a while. You'll see why later, but press your
attacks on the torso. Once it's HP is low enough, it'll fly
off the stage to a distance that's nearly impossible to
reach. He'll fire off a few missiles that'll destroy some
hexagon pieces. At this point, forget about the torso and
destroy the arms. With the threat of the torso out of the
way, the arms become easy pickings. Once the torso is back on
the arena, finish it off.

Boss Strategies: [Crowned Slime]
Level: 51
HP: 1100
The first boss battle is as easy as can be. Simply avoid
being near the Crowned Slime. If you try to attack him
head-on, your attacks will be brushed off like nothing and
you'll run the risk of being stomped on. Every time he jumps,
he gets smaller and weaker. After two jumps, he'll be at his
weakest. That's your golden chance to attack him. To keep
this up, make sure to kill any Blue Slimes that get near him,
as they'll restore his size.
[Reginald Drisby]
Level: 52
HP: 1680
Reginald Drisby's fate is sealed in the mushrooms that sprout
out of the ground. The red mushrooms heal him, while the
purple mushrooms stun him and give you an opening to attack.
He has an abnormal defense, so don't attack him upfront.
Instead, run around the arena and clear away the red
mushrooms. This forces Reginald to eat the purple mushrooms
that stun him. Use that stun time to deal your damage.
[Charme]
Level: 54
HP: 1160
[Eyebat King]
Level: 56
HP: 1200
This battle reminds me of those old school shooter games with
dozens of enemies and large flying lasers. The Eyebat King
isn't your only problem here. Several other Eyebats have
joined the fight to protect their king. Kill what Eyebats
you can to get them out of your way and aim for the massive
king. When he starts charging power, stay clear out of his
line of sight. He will fire off a massive laser with an
equally massive area of effect. That's the only clear
danger in this fight. Avoid it and the battle is yours.
[Insect King]
Level: 57
HP: 1830
The creepy-crawly Insect King is more annoying than hard. The
battle is similar to the Eyebat King battle due to several
of the boss' underlings joining the fray. The problem? These
minions are bees. They're much harder to hit than Eyebats and
can slow you down, making you target practice for the boss'
signature rolling attack. Try using an attack that can clear
away bees quickly so that you have a clear shot at the Insect
King. Without his bee minions, he's very easy.
[Volcanicrab]
Level: 59
HP: 2142
ERUPTION! Watch out for the Volcanicrab's signature attack
that sends out a firestorm, dealing massive damage to those
near it. He also spits out a stream of bubbles that can be
hard to dodge if you're still trying to keep your distance.
The main problem is that every attack you'll land will deal
no damage at all. He's covered in stone! Solution? Do you see
that red bomb floating around? Activate it and put it
underneath or near enough to the Volcanicrab to flip it
over. Every gamer should know what flipping over a shelled
enemy means, right? Now attack that soft underside like
there's no tomorrow!
[Crowned Slime (2)]
Level: 61/61
HP: 1300/1300
The Crowned Slime is back, and this time he brought a friend.
The same strategy from the previus Crowned Slime battle still
holds truth here. Avoid it's attacks until it goes down two
sizes and attack it while destroying the blue slimes that
threaten to disturb your whaling upon it's king. The main
difference is that you're watching out for two of these
things now instead of one.
[Tielle]
Level: 62
HP: 1320
[Samhain]
Level: 64
HP: 2040
Samhain is like one of those Floating Jack-o-Lanterns that
you've been fighting up until now, but with some key changes.
First, Samhain has a body. Second, Samhain doesn't float
towards you, but away from you. This can be a real problem
for the melee adventurers, since they have to move up
close to between attacks. Also, Samhain continually
disappears and reappears. Just try to keep your attacks
up and avoid the pumpkin buddies he continually summons.
[Electrojelly]
Level: 66
HP: 1400
[Eyebat King (2)]
Level: 68/68
HP: 1440/1440
The Eyebat King has brought a friend with him. Now there are
TWO massive eye lasers to look out for. If you have an attack
that can hit an area, then try to hit both of them at once.
If not, focus on killing down one Eyebat King first. As soon
as one goes down, then it's just like the normal Eyebat King
fight. When the eye lasers start going out, though, run.
Those hitboxes aren't getting any smaller. With two lasers
out, the screen is practically plagued with danger.
[Terran Golem]
Level: 69
HP: 2190
[Griff]
Level: 71
HP: 3000
Level: 73
HP: 2310
Rollin'.
Level: 74
HP: 1560
The battle against The Gauntlet is very straightforward. At
this point in the game, you should have already fought and
defeated one of the Knight enemies. This battle is like
fighting a Knight with more HP and a stronger attack, but an
easier to penetrate shield with a longer strike chance.
Dodge his attack and rush back in to attack. Very simple.
Do keep on your toes, though. That one attack is still very
strong. The three other knights assisting him doesn't help
you much, either.
[Griff and the Archdevil's Arm]
Level: 76
HP: 3200
[Samhain (2)]
Level: 78/78
HP: 2460/2460
There might be two Samhains to deal with now, but the
difficulty here is pretty much the same. Both of them are
just going to to be chilling and floating around the arena.
Their only real attack is their summoning of little pumpkin
allies to help. Just press your offensive and thise battle
should be done in no time.
[Reginald Drisby]
Level: 79
HP: 2490
Reginald's back with a vengeance. He upgraded his old crowbar
for a... paper fan? Wha...? Anyways, nothing much about this
fight changes from the previous version. Take away his supply
of red mushrooms and stun him when he eats the purple ones.
Poor poor Reginald...
[Eyebat King (3)]
Level: 81/81/81
HP: 1700/1700/1700
I don't recommend going through with this boss battle if you
haven't seen sunlight in a long time. You thought two massive
lasers flying through the screen wasn't enough? Try three!
Obviously, it's very dangerous to traverse this arena with
all of these lasers. Bring them down one at a time. Always go
for an opportunity to attack all three at once. Don't forget
about their roaming minions, however. They still pose a
threat to throwing off your groove.
[Insect King (3)]
Level: 83/83/83
HP: 2610/2610/2610
If you didn't hate insects before, you will now. With three
of these Insect Kings rolling all over the battlefield, you
pretty much have to follow their movements VERY carefully.
Like before, stay in the middle to avoid better and to have
a better reach to all three Kings. Bring all of them down
and be wary of the bees. Even letting one hit you can be VERY
risky. As soon as you're slowed, the Insect Kings can go to
town all over you.
[Crowned Slime (3)]
Level: 85/85/85
HP: 1780/1780/1780
Blobs galore! Three bouncing slimes all over the place is
exponentially more dangerous than just one. Just like before,
avoid them for a few attacks until they're two sizes smaller
than normal. That will always be your golden opportunity to
attack. Keeping away those pesky blue slimes can be a bit
tougher than normal, due to three Kings out there to kill
you.
[Samhain (3)]
Level: 86/86/86
HP: 2700/2700/2700
Samhain? Again? But we just defeated you and your friend a
few floors ago! Ah well. After all that, he STILL isn't much
of a threat. Press the offensive like usual on all three of
them. Just watch out for the flame rings. They weren't much
of a threat beforehand, but "power in numbers" as they say.
[Electrojelly]
Level: 88
HP: 1840
Electrojelly turned from blue to red. He must be pretty mad,
huh? He must be, since his whip attack got a nice little
upgrade. Instread of whipping in your direction with one
tentacle, he whips in two directions with both. I guess you
can't run around him as safely as you could before, huh? Oh
well. Just keep your distance like before and pummel those
tentacles into submission. Watch out for those lightning
bolts, though. Those hurt.
[Arma]
Level: 90
HP: 4700
Level: 91/91
HP: 1900/1900
It's twin Gauntlet time. Now two of those black knights are
after you. The danger level here is still relatively minimal
compared to the current location you're in. Their defense is
still easily penetrated. Your main worry here, like the
previous Gauntlet battle, is their only attack. Ranged, large
hitbox, and packs a punch. With two of those black knights,
they can juggle you right into the swords of their little
minions. However, simply press the offensive like you would
against a regular knight enemy. THese guys are tough, but
they're not THAT tough.
[Reginald Drisby]
Level: 93
HP: 2910
Level: 95
HP: 2970
The Terran Golem battle hasn't changed much from your
previous encounter. He IS still very powerful and can chip
large chunks off of your HP. The main difference between this
battle and the previous battle are the little minions.
Instead of just one, there's two breathing down your back
now. They're still easily dispatched, however, so go as you
please. Simply stay on the move and this battle shouldn't
pose too much of a threat.
[Volcanicrab]
Level: 96
HP: 3000
The Volcanicrab rematch is a lot tougher than the previous
encounter. His attacks are still relatively unchanged.
What you have to look out for are the bombs that are
supposed to help you. There's no logner just that one red

[The Geddon Device]
Level: 98
HP: 6120/2040
As the final boss, The Geddon Device is obviously pretty
tough. The battle itself is unique too. Instead of one of the
generic arenas we've been through, this one consists of
several linked-together hexagons. Periodically, some of these
drop and are gone from the arena. The longer this battle

+Fusion+
++++++++
Fusion! HA! Once you've reached Merchant Level 5, you'll be able to talk to
the Guild Master about fusing your items. Fusing items can take some weak
ingredients and turn them into something worth lots of PIX. Fusion is the main
way to get the most powerful equipment in the game as well! There are some
things that you need to know before fusing, however.
- Fusion uses your most powerful fusing ingredients first. The item with the
largest +x number will have the highest priority. If you're saving that item
for something else or simply don't want to use it, you can always plop it in
one of your vending machines for safekeeping.
- Fusion adds the +x of your ingredients for the bonus. If you fuse a +4 item
with a +5 item, your resulting fusion will be +9.
- The +x bonus of an item affects the main stat of said item only. The bonus
on swords affect Attack, bonus on Armor affects defense, etc.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Hello! Welcome to the World of Recettear: An Item Shop's Tale. Soon you'll be
well on your way to running one of the best item shops in town! OF course, you
won't be doing this alone. I'll be there to help guide you to the best places
to hunt treasure. Not only are we going to make your debt easier to manage,
but we'll be going through soem twists and turns along the way. Are you ready?
Yayifications! Then let's begin.
NOTE: I WON'T BE GIVING DAY-BY-DAY INSTRUCTIONS. I'M GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT
THINGS TO DO TO ADVANCE THE STORYLINE. TIME MANAGEMENT IS ALL UP TO YOU.
FOR MONEY MANAGEMENT AND GETTING THE MOST OUT OF YOUR SHOP, PLEASE REFER
TO THE ABOVE SECTIONS.
*-Stage One-*
[The Swordsman and the Theif]
To begin with, we're going to need an adventurer. Head to the Adventurer's
Guild and view a few scenes about the starving swordsman Louie. You'll
eventually end up having to help aid him through his exam. You can help him
immediately if you want, but it helps to get a few good pieces of equipment
for him since he's...well...broke.
Once you agree to help him, you'll be whisked away to the Hall of Trials.
[PLEASE REFER TO THE DUNGEON SECTION FOR THE HALL OF TRIALS FOR ANY INFO
YOU MIGHT NEED]
At the end of this dungeon, you'll find a chest with...
Louie's adventurer cards inside! He'll offer one to Recette as thanks for
assisting him through his trial. Isn't that sweet?
After beating the Hall of Trials, you'll automatically be able to enter a
dungeon called the Jade Way. Unfortunately, it's not pathed with Jade that you
can sell for a fortune, but it IS pathed with better treasure than the Hall of
Trials. Take Louie along for a ride and glide through this dungeon.
[PLEASE REFER TO THE DUNGEON SECTION FOR THE JADE WAY FOR ANY INFO YOU MIGHT
NEED]
Once you beat Charme, you'll earn yourself a nifty treasure that can pay for
the entire first installment of the debt with some left over, assuming you've
gone this far within the time period. If not, it's still worth a nice sum of
PIX. Do some shopping business with Charme, and you'll eventually receive her
Business Card. Yayifications!
*-Stage Two-*
[Elves and Demons]
Visit the town square. You'll uncover a scene involving a little girl looking
for her sister. Remember that face. At some point, Charme should visit your
shop and tell you about the newest dungeon: Amber Garden. Unforunately, no
Amber anywhere, but better treasures are abound! Take your adventurer of
choice into the Amber Garden and delve to the deepest level.
[PLEASE REFER TO THE DUNGEON SECTION FOR THE AMBER GARDEN FOR ANY INFO YOU
MIGHT NEED]
After beating Tielle, Recette will show her sympathy and bring her back to the
shop for some healing. Awww. After a day or so, Tielle will be back up to
snuff and ready to leave. Like Charme, do some business with Tielle to earn
her business card.
Now for your first dose of the night life. Visit the Town Square at night
until you've viewed exactly three scenes with Griff. Next, have Griff visit
youre shop and tell you to leave, or else you'll face doom. How ominous. Have
Louie visit your shop next to tell you about a mysterious new dungeon that has
popped up: Obsidian Tower. Spoooky. Adventurer of choice. Dungeon. Joke about
the material the dungeon is made of. Etc.
[PLEASE REFER TO THE DUNGEON SECTION FOR THE OBSIDIAN TOWER FOR ANY INFO YOU
MIGHT NEED]
After beating Griff, he'll yield to the mighty magic that is friendship.
Increase your friendship with him even more with your shop until he offers you
his business card. Recette can make a collection out of these!
