---Introduction to the walkthrough and the game + Legal Stuff---

Pyramid: Challenge of the Pharaoh's Dream is a pretty original game, that is
not only fun, but also very interesting. During the game, you will find all
kinds of information that will be saved into your notebook. You can read that
information any time you want, and will teach you a lot about the ancient Egypt
and its inhabitants. The gamer is challenged by a variety of puzzles that need
some thinking work, but also patience to solve. I played and finished the game
for the first time without aid when I was twelve. I am now eighteen years old
and enjoying it as much as I did six years ago. In other words: this game is
for all ages.

You will advance through the game by collecting scrolls. You are to give the
scrolls to the Gods Anubis and Ra, to keep them pleased. Each time you collect
enough scrolls, you will advance a bit in time. By doing that, you can see with
your own eyes how a pyramid is build from scratch to top, with your aid.

This guide has been seperated into parts, each part indicating a certain
timezone in which you can collect scrolls. If you want to find something, hit
CTRL-F or Applebutton (whatever the thing's called)-F, and type what you want
to find. Use the Table of Contents to help you navigating this walkthrough.
I've tried to spoil as less as possible.

Pyramid is an old game, so why am I even bothering to make a walkthrough? Well,
I noticed that Gamefaqs has no information at all on this game and that's
really a shame. Beside, I enjoy creating walkthroughs and as this game is
pretty small and easy, making this walkthrough was a piece of cake compared to
some other walkthroughs I've made (such as those for Legend of Zelda-games,
which are much more complex games, and probably why I never finished the
walkthroughs *blushes*). This is the first walkthrough I ever published. Also,
I think it's important to note that I play the game in Dutch. This means that
there could be some incorrect terms/names. I had to translate all terms from
Dutch to English. If some terms or names are incorrect, please e-mail me to
bludjinni[AT]ilse[DOT]nl. Thank you in advance! You can, by the way, always e-
mail me to ask questions, or to send feedback, or stuff I missed or forgat to
write about. Everything is welcome, except for spam and the like, obviously.

---Part 1---

Take a look around before you start getting your scrolls. There's a huge,
square field, which is where the pyramid will be build. Next to it is a
marketplace. You can't do much there yet, there's a sleeping man with a baboon
(you can wake the baboon if you want by clicking on it), there's a woman taking
a mudbath, there's this (treacherous) guy selling magic potions, and a tent
with all kinds of tools (new entries for your notebook!). But the most
important thing: you can make beer there.

~~~Making beer~~~
To make beer, add bread by clicking on it to the big pot, until some guy shows
up and start stamping it. Then take the filter, and put it on one of the
smaller bottles. Get the ladle, click on the big jar, and then on the filter.
Repeat with all four bottles, then shut the bottles with the tops. Now go back
to the marketplace, then back to the beerguy. Your beer is ready! You can take
two for free, the other two are for him. You can also sell your beer for grain.
The only places where you can go in this stage of the game are this
marketplace, which I will call the first marketplace from now on, and the place
where the pyaramid will be build.
~~~The First Scroll: Determining the True North~~~
Click on the square where the pyramid will be build to enter the place. Watch
the cutscene. Grab the grain and put it in your inventory. Click on the swamp.
Notice the stoneslab next to it: this is a map of the swamp. You can either
write it down on paper, or ignore it and use your ears instead. Enter the swamp
by clicking on it. You'll hear cries for help, and occasionally a crocodile.
This swamp is a true maze, but you can find your way by listening closely.
Whenever the cries become louder, you are getting closer. You could also use
the map on the stoneslab, and I therefore don't believe describing the correct
path to be necessary. Please note that there are two gems to be found in this
swamp. Also, when the astronomer's student shows up, or the crocodile, you're
on the wrong way.

When you found the blind (blind? wtf?) astronomer, click on the arrow to go
back. Scroll to the left, and click on the stone wall, where the astronomer is
now. You need to determine the True North, as the entrance of the pyramid
should face the north. Click on the man again when he's done talking to make
him stick his staff into the ground. Don't forget to take the grain. Click on
the staff to start.

You'll see a lottt of stars. You need to find a star that is not very hard to
miss. I usually use the big one, or the stars that goes in pairs. Take one of
the two stones, and place it where the easily recognizable star rises. Take the
second stone, and put it where the same star disappears behind the wall. You're
supposed to use the stick as an aid, but I never used it, so it's not really
necessary.

If you're correct, the blind astronomer will say so and give you your scroll.

You can bring back the scroll to Ra and Anubis immediately, but you can wait,
too. To go back to the chamber of the Gods, zoom out as far as you can, and
scroll around until you see the face of a woman appear in the clouds. Click on
her to return in the chamber. Then pick the scroll from your inventory, and
click on the wall with the assignments drawn on it.

~~~The Second Scroll: Levelling the terrain~~~
Click on the first marketplace next to the place where the pyramid will be
build. Scroll to the right to find three men. You will need to place their
tools in the correct order. Some of them are of no use: there are only four
tools needed. If you pick up a tool and click on one of the men, they will give
you information about the tool.
Here's the solution:
Take the basket, and click on the waterpitcher to fill it with water, then
place it on the leftmost side of the carpet. Then place the markingtool next to
it, then the chisel and finally the hammer. If you did this correct, a cutscene
will occur. Congrats on levelling the terrain!
~~~The Third Scroll: Getting some building materials~~~
The spot where you can get the third scroll may be hard to find. Zoom in as far
as you can. You might get there automatically, but you might not, too. Place
your cursor to the right or leftmost side of the screen and let the game scroll
you around. You will go down, leaving the terrain where the pyramid will be
build, then finally you'll go right over the water. There are two boats there,
and three caves. Click on the caves. Watch the cutscene, then do the puzzle.
It's not hard, as long as you remember that gravity is existant in this game.
What I mean to say: the pieces of rock cannot float in the air without support.
Start out by building the base of the slab, then work your way up. When you
solved the puzzle, you will meet Dendara. Listen to her story, then scroll to
the right. Click on the tools for entries in your notebook, then finally pick
up the round stone. Click on the jar with it to break it. Still holding the
stone, scroll back to Dendara and give it to her. Go back to the broken jar and
click on the papyrus to see where on the wall you should put your chisel. Pick
the latter up, and do as the map told you to.

The three men will be freed, click on them to go closer. They will ask you to
give them their tools. When you click on each of them (without holding
anything) they will give you information about the tools they use.
This is the solution:
From the left to the right, give them the square, chisel, wedge and hammer. You
will be given the scroll if you did it right.

Now with all three scrolls, look for Isis in the sky (zoom out as far as you
can and scroll around until you see the face of a woman) and return to the
chamber of the Gods. Place the scrolls on the wall, and proceed to Part 2 of
the game.

---Part 2---

As you can see, some stuff has changed since you acquired the 2 scrolls. If you
wish to get your first one immediately, from the world map, click on the place
where the astronomer and swamp previously were.

~~~The Fourth Scroll: Sarcophagus~~~
You need to get the Sarcophagus safely inside the tomb in order to acquire your
scroll. After all, what's the meaning of a pyramid without a Sarcophagus?
I warn you: you can mess up, and trust me, you WILL mess up the first time you
try for sure. Save before you try and experiment with the different parts
available, so that you can understand the usage of the parts better. There are
two different ways to get the Sarcophagus down, but only one will work. If you
mess up, reload your game. You can also move the Sarcophagus into the tomb, so
that it breaks. Pay the man two grain when you did that, and he will get the
Sarcophagus repaired, allowing you to start over.
Oh, in case you're like me: to move the Sarcophagus, just click on it. =_=
~You can:~
Put all the wood into the tomb, then burn it down using the smaller pile of
wood and candle. Before you burn it down, put the Sarcophagus on it, though.
This isn't the solution, but it's fun to try. Make sure you save before trying
this, or else it will cost you two grain.
~The one and only solution is:~
Fill the jar with sand and empty it in the tomb. Do this three times. Put the
Sarcophagus on it, then use the jar to remove all the sand from the tomb. Put
down the jar to make the man talk to you, and give you the scroll.
~~~The Second Marketplace~~~
On the world map, scroll down to notice more changes. You will see a boat and a
marketplace, the marketplace you previously couldn't reach. Click on it, then
click on the market.
In this market, you can do a various of things. One of them, and in my opinion
a really fun part of the game, is making papyrus. To do this, click on the
woman in red. You can also trade grain for linen (click on the left most man),
or trade papyrus for ivory (rightmost woman), trade beer for spices (click on
the fat guy), or trade spices for gems (click on the woman in white with
colorful thingies on her table, which happens to be gems).

~~~Making papyrus~~~
This seems easier than it is. You'll need some practice before you'll be able
to make some decent papyrus. Click on the papyrusplant to start. Grab all
papyrusplants sticking out from behind the table, and put them down in front of
you. Click on the uppermost part of the papyrusplants while holding the knife,
then click on the stems. You'll now have eight papyrus strips. Remove the linen
from the plate, and put down the strips in such a way, that the space between
them is not too big, and each space being as big as the other ones. When you
have done that, put the linen on top, grab the stone, and click several times
on the linen, until the stone moves aside by itself. You can now see the
result: if your papyrus has holes into it, then you failed. No worries if you
did - you can start over whenever you want.
Tip: You'd do best to start out by putting the horizontal strips on the plate
first, with as less distance between them as you can (but don't make them touch
each other!). Then place the vertical ones over the horizontals. Then place the
remaining strips.
~~~The Fifth Scroll: Senet~~~
To get this scroll, you'll have to play an ancient game, called Senet. On the
world map, scroll down. Click on the marketplace you couldn't go before. Now
click on the boat (NOT the Isis-sign on the boat, this will warp you back to
the world map).
Senet reminds me of the game backgammon, if you're familiar with it, then you
have an advantage. I wasn't familiar with it, and it took me some good time to
figure out the rules and strategics of this wonderful game. In fact, I started
playing backgammon because of Senet.

~~Game rules~~
The game explains the rules. If you wish to hear them, click on the scroll. You
play with the black pieces. The first one getting all his pieces from the
field, wins. To do this, you need to get your pieces safely to the end of the
third row. On the first and third row, you move your pieces from the left to
the right. On the second row, from the right to the left.
The little pieces of wood may confuse you. In fact, they're like dices. One
side is colored black, the other white. The amount of visible white sides
determine the amount of places you can move your piece. If you get four black
sides, you can move your piece six places. As such, moving five places is
impossible. If you get 1 or 4 white sides, or 4 black sides, you'll get to play
again.

There is also a trap you should be aware of. On the third row, there are
several places with signs on it. One of them is water (the second from the
left). If you move on that one, your piece will go back to the second row, on
the place with the symbol. If that spot is taken, you'll move back, all the way
to the very first spot on the field. If that one is taken, too, you'll move to
the first available spot after it. The other three signs on the third row may
look different, but act all three the same: if you are on such a spot, you
cannot be taken. If you land on one of those signs, while a piece of your
opponent is there, you'll have to move back to the first available spot before
the safeplace.

Another very important part of the game is your defense. If you line up two
pieces, those two pieces cannot be taken. If you line up three pieces, those
three cannot be taken nor passed. Mind you, if you line up three of your
pieces, YOU will be unable to pass those, too. If you're not careful, your
defense may be more of a hindrance than an aid. If you are unable to move
forward, you'll have to move backwards. If that, too, is impossible, you will
lose your turn.

With that said, enjoy Senet! Although Pyramid is considered a child's game,
playing Senet against that guy is NOT child's play. I wish you all the luck of
the world.
Here are some tips: Grab EVERY chance you have to get over the water. Returning
from the third line to the second line may not seem a bad thing, but certainly
IS if the guy has over three pieces after the return-point. Speaking of three
pieces, try to prevent him from lining up three pieces on the second line, and
try to get three pieces lined up there as early as possible in the game,
preferably with a fourth one on the third line already. Furthermore: remember
that moving five spaces Is Not Possible. Use this knowledge to your advantage.
It would also be a good strategic idea to place two pieces at the very end of
the third line as early as you can in the game, to give you the time you need
to get your remaining pieces on strategic positions without him being able to
get his pieces off the field too easily (and although he may seem slow with
that, once he starts getting them off, he gets them all off in less than six
turns, and with some bad luck, he gets all the turns he needs one after
another). Oh, and avoid breaking up your two/three-pieces line-ups as much as
possible, it will most likely result in your piece being taken, especially when
all pieces are off the first line.

If you really can't seem to win, and really are sick of it, then cheat a bit by
abusing the Saving system. Pyramid allows you to save whenever you want. Just
save your game a few times while playing Senet. If you lose the Senetgame,
reload your game and try another strategy. Of course, this really kills the
fun, but it's no fun either to get stuck at this part of the game.

After winning, you'll receive the scroll, and the guy will promise to deliver
the required stoneblocks to build the pyramid without any further delay.

~~~The Sixth Scroll: Trap~~~
Fly above the square where once the swamp was and click to start the challenge
for the sixth scroll. Wow, that's a real motivation: your predecessor was
crushed by a granite stone. To prevent this from happening again, they want you
to make the trap in miniature first.
Click on the pieces of wood to get to the model. It's like your little scarab-
friend says: start out with the walls. Each time you place a piece of it in the
right place, you'll hear a shifting sound.
With the walls placed, notice the little holes near the floor. Place the little
sticks there. Then place the big darkbrowncolored wood between the walls. If
you don't hear the shifting sound, you didn't place them correctly. When you're
done, lay the round woodthingies on the darkbrown colored pieces of wood you
placed between the walls. Finish it off by grabbing the rope and clicking on
the model.
Thanks to you, the tomb of the pharaoh will be protected against thieves.
Return to the heavens, look for Isis and give the scrolls to the Gods.
---Part 3---
Again, a lot has changed since the second part. The open square-space starts to
look like a pyramid now. There's only one new location you can visit. You can
still make papyrus, beer, buy the stuff you could before and play Senet if you
want, so nothing more has really changed.
~~~The Seventh Scroll: Food~~~
On the world map, fly above the place where the astronomer and swamp was
before, and click on the marketplace to the right (facing the desert (thus with
the river staring at your back). This is the new location I was talking about.
You'll have to provide the hungry workers with food and beer by clicking on the
bread and the beer and clicking again on the workers to give it to them. Some
of them require more than one piece of each. If they don't walk away after you
fed them and/or give them the beer, it means they want more. Keep in mind that
each need both the bread and beer in order to satisfy them. If you are not fast
enough, they'll fall asleep. To wake them from their slumber, click on the
green stuff (it stinks!) and click again on the sleeper to wake them up.
This scroll is really not hard to get. Before you know it, you'll be given the
scroll. Now that the workers first needs are fulfilled, they can seriously
start to build the pyramid.

~~~The Eight Scroll: The first steps to a pyramid~~~
You didn't think you wouldn't have to build the pyramid, didn't you? Well, this
is only the beginning. Fly above the place where once was the swamp. Zoom in as
far as you can, or else you can't reach it. Clicky.
Click on the ramp for a notebookentry. Scroll up the ramp to the top and click
again. Watch the cutscene to find out why Serpentia doesn't want the pyramid to
be finished.
What the ..? That's exactly what I was thinking when I listened to the guy's
story and took a look at those "numbers" of his. But it's really very simple.
The block on the sled is the one that needs to be dragged to its place. Click
on it to make the workers grab the rope. Click again to view the number. You'll
see two, eight and two weird symbols. Eight is the maximal amount of a certain
type of symbol that can occur. Now check the blocks next to empty spaces. Look
for one with two, eight and one weird symbol. Click on the empty spot next to
it to make the workers drag their stone to that place.
This probably confused you because we are not used to other countingsystems
than our decimal system. This system is really simple and reminds me of the
roman way of counting.
Do the same with the next block. On the block on the sled, you'll see two,
eight weird symbols. Look for a block (it should be right behind the workers)
with two, eight and one weird symbols. Put your block next to it (to the left
of the block with two, eight and one weird symbols).
The third block has the following combination of symbols: Four, six, six, two.
Look for a block with the combination four, six, five, two weird symbols. It
should be right behind the leader, all the way to the right.
The fourth block looks like this: three, seven, two, six weird symbols. Look
for a block with three, seven, one, six weird symbols, and place your block
next to it.
The fifth block: Three, seven, three, six weird symbols. This one is easy. Look
for a block with three, seven, two, six weird symbols and put yours in the
empty spot next to it. It's right behind your block. You can't miss it.
This was the last one. You'll now receive your scroll, and thanks to you, no
block will ever be placed on the wrong spot. After this, Dendara will show up.
She tells you that whenever you need her help, you just need to give an ivory
figurine to the papyrus-woman. You can find the latter on the second
marketplace (where the Senetguy is).
---Part 4---
As you noticed, this part only can bring you one single scroll, but it is the
scroll hardest to get. After Ra and Anubis' . err . may I say disgusting?.
Disgusting talk (that Anubis guy really has a problem 0_0), click on Isis'
symbol to go back to Egypt. As you can see, the pyramid really looks much more
like a pyramid. Do you remember Dendara telling you about the papyruswoman? You
could get her help by giving her an ivory figurine. I'm not sure if you can go
see her already, but try and give her the ivory figurine. If it's not possible
to get her help already, then ignore what I just said. You WILL need Dendara
though, it would just be easier if you can go see her now instead of later in
the game.
~~~The Ninth Scroll: Building the pyramid~~~
As you can't do anything more than getting the final scroll, click on the
pyramid. Click on the sled to the left. Build the sled by clicking on the brown
little pieces, and attaching them to one leg of the sled. When done,  attach
the other leg to it, too. Now pick up the block, and put it on the sled. The
guy will thank you for showing them how a sled should be made and repaired and
will give you.. Nothing. Ha, you thought it would be that easy?
It took me some good time to figure out what I should do. You see the sled? And
all those men? At the bottom of the screen, you'll see some wood, water (water
is next to the wood) and oil. You'll need all three in order to get the blocks
up. If you click on the men while holding water/oil/wood, they will carry it up
and use it. If you click on the men without nothing, they will pull the sled.
They might break the sled sometimes, simply give some men wood and they will
repair it. To make the men pull the sleds, click on the drum the boss is
holding. To make them stop dead in their tracks, click on the drum again.

Water may not seem important, yet it is. The workers can move their blocks up
without water, but they will too slowly. After awhile, the boss will stop all
activities, tell you that the workers are tired and that it's going way too
slow. You probably already heard him say that getting water from the Nile is
just way too far. If you scroll all the way to the right, you'll notice an
oasis. Click on it to meet one of Serpentia's little friends. He will not let
you pass. Go back, and back to the world map. Go to the second marketplace
(where you can make papyrus), go to the papyrus-woman, give her some ivory (you
can buy it on the same marketplace in exchange for papyrus) and Dendara will
help you out.! The woman tells you that Dendara will be waiting for you at the
sacred lake of Serpentia. Which happens to be the very same lake of which the
access got you denied! Go there and listen to their talks, when they're done,
click on the lake to approach it. Listen to them again, and then click on the
brown thingy to the right which happens to be a floodgate. After another
cutscene, go back to the pyramid to find out water has flowed to near the
workingplace. Joy! You now have an unlimited supply of water. As for the oil,
you still can use it only three times. Unlike water, it will not evaporate
after a certain amount of time. Use it wisely. ^_^

Be careful. If you put too many men on one sled, they will start to fight. To
remove someone from a sled, click on him. But! He will walk to the next sled
and "help" them out. If there's already a maximal amount of men on that sled,
another fight will start.

This mission takes pretty long. Make sure you send enough water up: I always
send three watercarriers at the same time, then two woodmen, then usually a new
block would arrive. I would send two water and one wood, then put men on the
new sled. When they're off, I would send another three water and two wood. I
used my oil immediately in the beginning, but it doesn't really makes any
difference when you use it.

Alrighty, if it weren't for you, the men still wouldn't have dragged up a
single stone. Thanks to you, the men are now working hard to fulfill the dream
of the pharaoh!

---Part 5---

Wow, the pyramid really is nearly done! The only missing part is the top. Click
on the pyramid to get our tenth scroll, but before you go there, I highly
suggest you to buy a gem if you have none. You will be needing it. You can
trade spices for gems on the second marketplace (the one where you can make
papyrus).

~~~The Tenth Scroll: Illumination~~~
Watch the cutscene with the three men. You can click on them individually after
that if you want, but it's not needed. When you're ready, click on the entrance
to enter the pyramid to begin your task.
This is really simple. Give the leftover mirror to the fat guy. Now click on
the mirror the long guy, Ameneus, is holding to move it. Move it until the
light becomes brighter (that will be the case when the mirror is aiming at the
mirror of the other guy). Done! Scroll all the way to the right, where the
painter is, and click on the entrance there. Watch the cutscene with Serpentia.
You finally have your bag back! When the cutscene is over, one of Serpentia's
henchmen will pick up the piece of paper. Trade one of your gems for the piece
of paper the guy is holding. When he's gone, the mirrorman and the painter will
show up. Click on the mirror and move it around, until it lights up the wall.
Click again to release the mirror and to receive your scroll.
Without your aid (and that of Ra, of course ;-)), the insides of the pyramid
wouldn't have been painted. You have given light to the pyramid of the pharaoh.
~~~The Eleventh Scroll: Placing the top of the pyramid~~~
Zoom in as far as you can, then let the game scroll you to the top of the
pyramid. Click on the top to begin your task for the eleventh scroll.

You'll have to place the top safely on the pyramid. To do this, click on the
leftmost guy first. Then click on the middle guy. Then click on the left guy
again. Now click on the right guy, then the middle guy, and the right guy
again. Click on the middle guy again to make him kick away the sled.
Click on the right guy, then the middle guy, and the right guy again. Then
click on the left guy, the middle guy, and the left guy again. Take the scroll,
and watch the scene with Ra. What?! Not over yet! But you build the pyramid,
that was what the Gods wanted you to do.

Watch another scene with Ra. After that you'll be back at the pyramid. Scroll
down to find Isis' sign, and return to the heavens. Look for Isis in the sky to
go to the chamber of Gods, and give the wall your two scrolls. There's nothing
more you can really do in Part 5, anyway.

---Part 6---

You will be enlightened with the story of Isis, Osiris and Seth. Seth murdered
his brother Osiris out of jealousy for the love he gave to Isis, who happened
to be Osiris' wife. The Gods Ra and Anubis give you a small hint. There's
another death nearing. No... It wouldn't be. Or would it?
Click on Isis to go into the heavens of Egypt. The pyramid is really finished!
Scroll around until you hear a kid scream "Look mom, there's the pharaoh!" and
click on the square houselike-thing at the foot of the pyramid. Your scarab
will speak to you, and tell you that you cannot go there. Wow, that was pretty
useless, wasn't it? 0_0 Click on Isis' sign to go back to the skies and click
on the pyramid now. Watch the scene with the incredible big and probably
equally incredible rich woman.

~~~The Twelfth Scroll: Desciphering the papyrus-scroll~~~
When she's done talking, click on the papyrus she is holding to start your
task.
When you click on a group of hieroglyphicss, the woman will read out aloud what
it says. Use your notebook as a guide: you'll have a new entry on the prayer
the woman is/was reading.
You'll need to adjust the order of the hieroglyphicss of the prayer by clicking
on a group of hieroglyphicss, and placing them on the first line.
This is the correct order (I'm playing the game in Dutch, so I had to translate
everything. As such, it may not be accurate or even correct). Make sure that
you place the hieroglyphicss not from left to right (as you're probably used to
write/read from left to right) but from right to the left.
"May the eyes of the King of Upper and Lower Egypt, ruler of two lands, Nimaat-
Re (?), open itself" is what the first line should read. Then place the
hieroglyphics that says "So that he can see the ruler" followed by "of the
horizon". Then: "When he will traverse through the heavens, in such a way that
he makes sure/takes care of", followed by: "The Son of Ra, KhaenRa". "Will rise
as the God" and "ruler over eternity" should be the ending.
If you've done it correctly, the text should highlight in red, and be read
aloud by the woman. New hieroglyphicss will appear. You didn't think you would
come off it that easily, did you?
This is the correct order, again, place it from right to left on the second
line: "I have given the beautiful horizon, the two lands of Egypt" then "to
Khaenra". "And he has accepted the two lands", followed by "May you unite
yourself with him, and receive his blessings" "this is my gift to you". Then Ra
should say: "May you unite yourself with him, and receive his blessings", "this
is my gift to you".
Again, if you've done it correctly, the text will highlight and be read aloud.
Take your scroll, and bid farewell to the scarab. I didn't really care she
left, I never used her, anyway.
~~~The Thirteenth Scroll: The crown of the pharaoh~~~
To get your scroll, go to the place your scarab didn't want you to go before
(check the beginning of this part to see what I'm talking about). Now that
she's gone, she can't stop you, now can she? But first, go buy yourself some
magic potion. You will be needing it.
Enter the pyramid, and click on the entrance right. Click on the objects there
for more notebookentries. Then go back, and click on the entrance left.  Watch
the scene.

Remember what Ra and Anubis said about cobra's? The golden one is not
dangerous, but the others, that are not golden.

If you wish to end the game here and now, give the piece of paper Serpentia
dropped earlier to the bitten king or to Serpentia herself. Watch the scene and
then the credits. Congratulations, you finished the game.. By losing it.
Otherwise, give the same piece of paper to Dendara. Then give the magic potion
you can buy from the treacherous man at one of the marketplaces to Dendara to
cure the king. Take your scroll, and return to the chamber of the Gods. Please
be aware that Part 6 of the game is the last time you can make beer and
papyrus. In fact, you can't visit the marketplaces any more after this part.

---Part 7---

It has been ten year since you saved Dendara's brother. But the pharao has died
now (a natural death, this time, lol :P) and it will be your job to mummificate
him.

Unlike in the previous parts, you won't start out in the sky, but at the place
where you met Dendara for the first time. Like I said before, you cannot visit
any marketplaces in this final stage of the game. If you want to make beer or
papyrus for the last time, you should have done so in Part 6.

Scroll to the left to the entrance of the pyramid (where the king got bitten by
the snake). Clicky.

~~~The Fourtheenth and Final Scroll: Mummification~~~
Click on the entrance, then click on the vaselike thing for another notebook
entry, and click on the corridor at the end of the hall. Watch the short scene.
Then click on the bowl next to the pharaoh to zoom in on his.. err.. nose. 0_0
Your task is the most disgusting task mankind has ever got the 'chance' to
know. Click on the pincet, then on his nose. As you might or might not know,
the ancient Egyptians removed the brains by pulling them out of the noseholes.
Yuck.. I'm having lunch while writing this and while removing his.. brains.
Continue picking his nose out until he tells you you're done. You will return
to the previous screen. Grab the knife near the pharaoh and give it to the
skinny man, who is as disgusted by it as I am (although it's really fun, too
^_^). When he's gone, click on the cut he made, grab the pincet and click on
the cut. Move around to see the organs, and click again to remove them one by
one. Remove them all, except for the heart. You can put the organs on the
table.
When you're done, give the stomach to the man with the Anubis-mask. Then grab
the lungs, and give it to him. Then give him the bowels, and finally the liver.
Then return to the previous screen. The game will fastforward, and 40 days
later, the pharaoh's skin will have dried up. You now will have to wrap him up.
To do this, grab the roll of linen (or whatever it is, it looks like
toiletpaper to me) and click several times on the pharaoh. Them click on the
resin (the brown stuff) and click on the pharaoh. Finally, grab the green thing
- the talisman - and click on the pharaoh again. Then click on the second roll
of toilet paper (lol), click several times on the dead guy, use the resin
again, and you're done. Return to the heavens, and give the Gods your scroll.
You have now granted the pharaoh - who has now become a god - eternal life.
Each sunset, the pharaoh's soul will return to his body to rest.
---Part 8---
~~~The tomb~~~
Click on the sarcophagus and collect the "cartouche" and thingy for your head.
Go back and click on the chair. Collect the musicinstrument and the necklace.
Go back and click on the floor next to the chair and grab the sandals, go back
and click on the floor with the weird grey thing. Click on it - it happens to
be something for make-uping - and put it in your inventory along with the other
things. Go back and click on the right corner to find the bowl. Then place your
cursor to the left and click to go to another part of the room. Click on the
what looks like rocks (but it's food) and take some. Go back. Now click on the
white thing to the left of the room, and place everything you've found up till
now there. If you want to lose the game again, go all the way back while having
some items in your iventory.

I'm pretty sure there must be more to the tomb, something that can be done -
why else would we be able to pick up these things? .but I have yet to figure
that out (mail me if you know, bludjinni[AT]ilse[DOT]nl). In any case, the tomb
contains much information that can be added to your notebook.

Congratulations on finishing the game!

---Items---

You can get all items from the two marketplaces, except for the scrolls and the
piece of paper. Please note that you can give items to people, such as the
potion to the lady in the mud-bath. As these eastereggs are of no importance to
the game, I didn't go into detail in it.

Ivory - Give it to the papyrus-lady in a certain stage of the game to get aid
from Dendara. Get it by trading papyrus for it.
Linen - Use it to trade. Get it by trading grain for it.
Beer - Use it to trade. Make it yourself.
Papyrus - Use it to trade. Make it yourself or trade linen for it.
Grain - Use it to trade and to get help/advice from the scarab. Get it by
selling papyrus or beer to the same people who allow you to make them, or from
Anubis each time you finish a part of the game.
Potions - Use it to save the pharaoh. Get it by trading gems for it.
Gems - Use it to buy the piece of paper from the henchman of Serpentia. Get it
by trading spices for it.
Spices - Trade beer for it.
Scrolls - Place them on the wall in the chamber of Gods to advance in the game.
Get them by achieving the goals of the Gods (see the chamber of Gods for more
information: click on the wall).
Piece of paper - Get it by trading a gem with one of Serpentia's henchmen in a
certain stage of the game. You can use it to lose the game (give it to the
dying pharaoh or Serpentia at that stage of the game). You will need it if you
want to proceed in the game (give it to Dendara when the Pharaoh is dying).
