PURE1B. Tricks
==============
There are 4 types of tricks: Basic, Advanced, Pro, and Special. Basic tricks
are executed by pressing the X button and moving the Left stick in any
direction. You are able to pull off these tricks at any time. Pro tricks are
executed by pressing the O button and moving the Left stick in any direction.
You will only be able to pull off Advanced tricks if you Thrill Bar is filled
at least to the O button icon. Pro tricks are executed by pressing the
Triangle button and moving the left stick in any direction. As with Advanced
tricks, you will only be able to pull these off if your Thrill Bar is at least
to the Triangle button icon. Special tricks require you to completely fill
your Thrill Bar. However, the only way to lose a Special Trick is by crashing.
Each rider has their own signature trick and up to 7 additional Special
Tricks. To execute these tricks, press L1 and R1 as well as move the Left
stick in any direction. To modify tricks, press L1 or R1 when you execute your
trick. Special Tricks are listed in alphabetical order because most of them
are shared but two riders may have the same trick using a different direction.
I will list which riders know the tricks. The only similarity between each
rider’s Special Tricks is that their signature trick is always the Up
direction. For flips, hold up or down after initiating the trick to perform
double and triple flips.

PURE2. Garage
=============
In the garage, you are able to construct your own ATV from scratch. You have
two spots available for creation from the beginning and for every Stage you
unlock in the World Tour, you earn another ATV slot. You will only have a
certain amount of parts available from the beginning but you will earn more by
winning events in the World Tour. You can also Quick Build an ATV to be more
adept to Races or to Freestyle events; however, you cannot Quick Build for
Sprint events. To Quick Build for Races, press the Square button. To Quick
Build for Freestyle events, press the Triangle button. After pressing the
Quick Build button for whichever style you are trying to build, and even if
you aren’t Quick Building, you will be able to select any available Upgrades
for that part. Some parts will add to (or subtract from) your vehicle’s stats,
while some will not. Upgrade will add onto each other. Each part’s name will
be listed, followed by five numbers. The numbers listed relate to the five
stats for your ATV. The stats are in the following order: Speed, Acceleration,
Handling, Boost, and Trick. If the part has no effect on a certain stat, a
zero will appear in that stat’s slot. When creating an ATV, everything from
the Frame to Boost Bottle will add to your ATV’s stats. Everything else are
mainly visuals.

PURE2A. Upgrades
================
As you progress through the World Tour, you will be able to upgrade parts of
your ATV. Most upgrades will have a Level 1 and a Level 2 Upgrade. Upgrades
will add on to each other so if you put a Level 2 Upgrade on one of your ATV
parts, you will receive the stat bonuses from the
Level 1 and Level 2 upgrades. You will earn Upgrades by earning enough points
in the World Tour. Each time you earn a Performance Upgrade, you will have a
choice from 3 upgrades. You won’t be given a Level 2 upgrade until you have
had the chance to pick from all Level 1 upgrades first. There are 12 available
upgrades.
=================
PURE3. World Tour
=================
The World Tour has 10 stages. Only the first stage is available from the
beginning. Each stage has a maximum engine class and you can only enter on an
ATV that has an engine equal to the specified class. Engine classes range from
A to D, with D being the lowest. There is also a qualifying event that you can
do. You will be on an oval track and be given 5 objectives to complete. Each
stage will have anywhere from 4 to 7 events for you to compete in. You can do
them in any order. Rewards listed under stage information are what you earn by
unlocking that stage. For Race and Freestyle events, the first time you do
either of those events on a track, you will unlock both Race and Freestyle
variations for use in Single Event of Trial Modes. If a Special Trick is a
reward, the direction will also be listed because all 7 riders learn them.
Once you unlock the trick, it is added to all rider’s trick set.
Objective 1: Complete a lap
Objective 2: Pre-load your ATV
Objective 3: Trick
Objective 4: Boost
Objective 5: Complete a lap in under 27.00 seconds

PURE4. Race Types
=================
There are 3 different race types in the game. There are Races, Sprints, and
Freestyle events
Race
----
Races in the World Tour are all 3 laps long. In Single Event mode, you can
make Races longer or shorter than 3 laps. There are many different routes that
you can take. Some routes are shorter than others, while some may have more
jumps that will cause your lap times to increase.
Sprint
------
Sprints in the World Tour are all 5 laps long, but in Single Event mode they
can go as high as 10 laps. Sprints will take place in the same places as races
but the courses are shorter than races. Most sprint courses take the general
shape of an oval. Usually there are only about 1 or 2 places that you are able
to jump off of.
Freestyle
---------
Freestyle events take place on the same exact tracks as races with the only
change being that more ramps are added for more tricks and more hang time. In
Freestyle events, you have gas that will determine how long the event will
last. When you run out of gas, the event will end. At the end of every lap,
your ATV will be refueled but not completely. Doing tricks will also earn you
more gas. To win Freestyle events, you will need to chain your stunts. As you
perform a stunt, a multiplier will appear next to your score. There is a red
ring that will begin to disappear as you drive. When the ring runs out, your
score will be multiplied by whatever your multiplier is. There are also 4
pick-ups that can help you.
Yellow Star: You will automatically earn a Special Trick, regardless or how
full your Thrill Bar is. It will not; however, add to your Thrill Bar
Blue Flame: Collecting this pick-up will add Boost to your Thrill Bar. If your
Thrill Bar is high enough, you can earn a Special Trick if you get this.
Green Gas Can: Collecting this pick-up will freeze your Gas for a few seconds.
Black Multiplier: This will always be a x2 multiplier. This multiplier works
differently than the ones you earn by linking tricks. These multipliers will
not add on to each other, so if you pick up two in the same combo, it will
only be a x2 instead of x4. Also, this multiplier will be applied after your
trick multiplier is applied
