While I do write all of my guides for free, it does take a lot of time and
effort to put them together. If you're feeling generous and want to show your
appreciation, I am gladly accepting donations. I don't know exactly what the
donations will be used for, but just know that you would definitely be helping
me make more quality FAQs! Even the smallest donation amounts are appreciated,
and are a great way to show how much you appreciate the work I do. If you do
decide you'd like to donate, please send the donations through PayPal at the
e-mail address listed below. Thank you so very much for considering this!!

1. Intro ******************************BOWL_1**********************************
Not a bunch to say about this game. Polar Bowler is an interactive bowling game
designed by WildTangent. Not a widely-known game maker, but they make good
games. This one in particular is unique in that, when you bowl, you get to
control the ball.
Eh, enough of my lame intro. Onto the FAQ!
2. Version History ******************************BOWL_2************************

Object of the Game
===============================================================================
The object of this game is little different from that of a typical bowling
game. Using the controls under "Game controls" in the section above, in that
general sequence, you'll be able to launch yourself at the pins. Your goal is
to knock over as many of the ten pins as possible.
You'll have ten frames of ten pins. In each frame, you get two chances to knock
over as many of the ten pins as possible. You'll get a bonus shot in the tenth
frame. If you make a spare or strike there, you'll get a third shot. In
essence, you can have up to twelve shots, and, if each are strikes, you'll be
allowed a max of 300 points.
Additionally, if you opt for Power Bowling, you'll be able to pick up bonus
power-ups to boost your score over the maximum of 300! This is because that
this bonus is a multiplier for the number of pins you knock down. For example,
picking up a 3x power-up, then knocking down 9 pins, nets you 27 points.
===============================================================================
Scoring
===============================================================================
It's fairly simple. I'll try to do this with just examples. Don't assume any
bonus power-ups for now, and assume all are in the first frame.
Say you get 4 and 5 pins in a frame. You'll get a base nine points.
If you get all ten pins in two shots (spare), you'll get a base ten points plus
a doubled score for your next (ie. ONE) throw.
If you get all ten pins in one shot (strike), you'll get a base ten points plus
doubled scores for your next two throws.
And, of course, the bonus multipliers simply are added at the end when you play
in Power Bowling. Take the number of pins you knock down, multiply that by the
multiplier, and add it to your "final" score to figure your score out.
===============================================================================
Power-Ups
===============================================================================
Randomly throughout Power Bowling games, you'll find some power-ups. Pick them
up and some weird things can happen...
-- Bombs simply increase the power when you hit the ten pins, often knocking
them all down.
-- Bonus coins give you a bonus multiplier (2x to 6x). See above section for
details.
-- The snowflake Vapor power-up forces all ten pins away if you hit the pins.
-- The yellow Zap power-up will knock down most, if not all, the pins when you
hit them by zapping them.
