Welcome to my walkthrough for Mugen Souls Z, the sequel to Mugen Souls, a game I
never played (despite owning, although that's a story for another time). As a
game described as a cross between Hyper Dimension Neptunia mk2 and Disgaea, it's
one of those games that can start off slow, but picks up later.

Of course, from the little I read about the first game, I understood that it had
a complex set of systems in place that made the game more difficult to
understand than usual. Mugen Souls Z, however, helps streamline the process to
make it so these systems are a lot easier to understand, as well as execute,
although there still are a lot of mechanics.

============|                      II. GAMEPLAY                     |===========
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|                                                       |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
           O~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~O

Mugen Souls Z is the sequel to Mugen Souls and adopts a good portion of the
systems in place in that game, changing them slightly for easier of use, as well
as making them simpler to understand. The gameplay has been described as a mix
of Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 and the Disgaea series.

The game adopts a similar system to its prequel, where players are tasked with
going from planet to planet, searching for the ultimate god for each one. There
is also a central hub, where players can purchase items, talk to NPCs and even
access the Mugen Field.

     .------------.
======|  G-Castle  |
     '------------'
The G-Castle is the main hub for the player and their party, functioning similar
to the main hubs from the Disgaea games. There are a multitude of services
available, ranging from the various shops to a hot spring. Only the weapons and
clothing shops are available from the beginning of the game, with the other
services opening as you progress through the main story.

- Weapons Shop - Can buy items, weapons and armor for your characters
- Clothing Shop - Can buy clothing for your characters, which are both cosmetic
 and can help increase stats earned upon leveling
- Notice Board - Functions similar to an encyclopedia, showing various things
 unlocked, as well as the bestiary
- Hot Spring - Provides a temporary stat buff for characters

     .----------------------.
======|  Planet Exploration  |
     '----------------------'
The main method of exploration in Mugen Souls Z will be whenever the player goes
from planet to planet in search of the ultimate gods. Enemies are on the field
and if you come into contact with one of them, a battle will commence. In
addition to that, the game progresses by going to events, which are shown on the
field as sideways hourglass symbols, and there are also chests.

     .-----------------.
======|  Battle System  |
     '-----------------'
The battle system in Mugen Souls Z is turn-based, with the turn order based on
the speed of the characters. Players will see enemies on the field and will
initiate battle by coming into contact with them. There can be up to four
characters in an active party, as well as a sub party, allowing for players to
swap out characters during battle.

Every character, when their turn comes, is able to move a certain span,
indicated by the circle beneath their feet. Once they are in position, pressing
X will bring up the command menu, where that character can attack, use skills,
defend, as well as other actions. The character can attack anything that's in
range of their normal attack command or their skills.

     .-------------.
======|  Captivate  |
     '-------------'
Captivate is the same as Moe Kill in the previous game, where Syrma can use her
power to try and make an enemy into a Peon or item. Players get three
opportunities to use "Fetish Poses" to try to change an enemy into a peon or an
item, and if wanted, enrage them. Unlike the previous game, there are bars that
show you if you will succeed or not.

In addition to regular enemies, Captivate can also be used on the planets
themselves. Once you unlock this ability, you will find various points marked on
your map, which are numbered. By hitting L2, you will see the same numbers, but
with a vague objective that is needed in order to use Captivate on that Planet
Part.

Each objective is different, as sometimes all you need is to give an item, while
other times you will need to use Peon Change as with normal enemies. Some Planet
Spots are locked until you progress in the storyline, so it won't be possible to
completely finish a planet on the first visit.

     .-----------------.
======|  Ultimate Soul  |
     '-----------------'
Ultimate Soul is the equivalent to the Peon Ball from Mugen Souls, which is an
ultimate attack that only Syrma can use. Its power is completely dependent on
the number of Shampuru you have, and it can only be activated if you have uses
left, as well as PP.

There is one problem, though, with the Ultimate Soul attack, as it can Overload
and damage your party as well. This has a chance of happening whenever the
Overload gauge reaches 10%. Fortunately, this bar empties whenever you go back
to the G-Castle or use the Ultimate Soul attack.

     .----------------------.
======|  Blast Off/Crystals  |
     '----------------------'
Another aspect of the battle system is Blasting Off, which are attached to
skills. This allows the player to launch enemies, both around the battlefield
and even into the air, allowing them to knock them around into other enemies and
sometimes crystals, both large and small.

Crystals are extra modifiers, of sorts, in battles that provide both beneficial
and negative effects. These crystals can be Captivated, as well as destroyed by
depleting their health, although they can't be attacked directly. Instead,
players need to use Blast-Off to knock enemies into them, which will slowly
deplete their health each time they are hit.

     .--------------------.
======|  G-Castle Battles  |
     '--------------------'
Fighting with your party isn't the only combat you will see, as you're
introduced to fighting with the G-Castle at the beginning of the game. This
system uses a rock-paper-scissors like style, where certain attacks are
effective against others. Battles are 1-on-1, where the sole objective is to
deplete the enemy's HP to zero.

For example, you choose to Attack with G-Castle, but the enemy chooses to
Reflect. If this scenario plays out, then the attack you sent will be reflected
back at you and you will take damage instead. However, if you chose to use
Pierce in this situation, then the attack will negate the Reflect and deal
damage to the enemy.

In addition to the above, there are other actions that can be used, such as
being able to heal G-Castle. It's impossible to figure out which kind of action
the enemy will use, but at the beginning of each turn, the enemy will say
something. What they say can be used to determine whether they'll attack or not,
so you'll need to pay attention.

     .---------------.
======|  Mugen Field  |
     '---------------'
Mugen Field is an optional dungeon, of sorts, where the player can fight through
a series of random battles to level up. It is a total of 100 floors, with Rest
Stops on levels 10, 30, 60 and 100. At first, players will only be able to go up
to level 10, with the rest of the floors being unlocked by purchasing with
tickets at the Mugen Shop in G-Castle.

At the Rest Stops, players can strengthen their characters by unlocking more
Peon Classes, opening more equipment slots, level skills, as well as more. When
the player begins, they can choose to bet Mugen Points, with the bet determining
the strength of the monsters encountered. Also, they can place restrictions on
themselves, such as prohibiting the use the items, which in turn ups the rewards
gained after each battle.

     .---------------------------.
======|  Equipment/Customization  |
     '---------------------------'
Each character can equip one weapon and one piece of armor, which can be bought
at shops, dropped from enemies (either by defeating them or using Captivate) or
even found in treasure chests. As you progress in the storyline, more equipment
will be available in shops, but not all of them can be bought with G, the game's
currency.

Later pieces of equipment will require items as well. For example, the third
tier of equipment is when this starts coming into practice, as you will need to
have various items in your inventory, in addition to the required G, in order to
purchase the weapon or armor. Once you reach a certain point in the game, you
will be able to level equipment using G, with G Up (earned from the Mugen Field)
can increase the level limit.

Characters can also equip clothing, which can be found by the same methods as
equipment. Every character has multiple slots in which they can equip these
pieces of clothing. What clothes do is increase the stat aptitudes, which will
increase the number of stats that a character earns when they level.

============|            III. CH.1  - OVERWHELMING INTRO            |=(A100)====
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|                                                       |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
           O~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~O

You start the game in a battle with Chou-Chou alone against some enemies, but
it's going to be very hard to actually be defeated, as their attacks do hardly
any damage. All you have at your disposal are skills and a fairly large pool of
MP, so feel free to use whatever you want to take out the enemies before you.

After the battle, some scenes will play out and you'll be thrown into a Castle
battle. These play out pretty much the same as with the previous game, but if
you haven't played that, read the tutorial carefully. These castle battles are
similar to Rock-Paper-Scissors, where certain attacks work against certain
actions. You will need to pay attention to comments coming from both Ryuto and
the enemy to help you choose your next action.

Considering that you outmatch the Etherwind by a lot, it might be best to just
pick Pierce over and over to finish the battle quickly. Some more scenes will
occur, then you'll be in control of a character named Nao. Straight ahead is a
save crystal, as well as a chest, which contains a WARDING POWDER, BRAISED TOFU
and OUNCE O' SOUP. Just continue to the marker on your map to view an event,
throwing you into a battle.

You're introduced to crystals with this battle, and there is both a good and bad
one here (there is no field effect crystal). It's best to keep yourself close to
the HP regen one, allowing yourself to recover from the enemy attacks until you
take out the doll. Once you do, relocate to the Physical Up crystal to take out
the other enemy, since it will likely recover more HP than you can outdamage.
After the battle, continue to the next event and watch the cutscenes.

A battle will eventually happen, but it's just Chou-Chou beating you down, which
is supposed to take place. Some unfortunate events happen, with Chou-Chou being
drained of her powers and shrunken down as well. There will be even more
cutscenes, which will bring this chapter to a close.

This chapter opens up with some more cutscenes, then you'll be able to explore
G-Castle. There are various services here, but only three are open for now, the
Clothing shop, Equipment shop and the Notice Board. You can also save anywhere
here, and even get some free items sometimes by talking to the NPCs here in each
new chapter.

- By Notice Board - Paralysis Nhaos x2, Poison Nhaos x2
- By Weapons Shop - Sugar Candy x1, Fried Eggs x2
- Orange Fish (Bottom) - Sleep Nhaos x2, Sour Milk x1

There's an event just south of the large circle in the middle, which must be
triggered manually. An intruder invades the shop, whose name is Ace, and you
have to battle him...only you can't win, so just rush him and die for now. After
some more scenes, you'll have to do another battle, which will introduce the
Captivate function.

This is similar to the Moe Kill system in the first game, which lets you turn
enemies into items or shampurus. Note that only Syrma can use this, and she can
even attack after using this. Basically, you choose three poses (from a choice
of three for each one) and must fill up the meter in order for the action to
occur. If it doesn't happen the first time, some of it will carry over into the
next Captivate attempt.

If Peon Change happens, you get more shampurus after battle, but you also
activate the Coffin Effect, which is a bonus of sorts. This can range from
damaging enemies, to healing your party and even getting more G and items at the
end of the battle. This can be changed from the menu.

                              /===============\
==============================(  SCARLET WORLD  )===============================
                              \===============/

Anyways, with that done, talk to Ryuto at the top of the map, and choose Scarlet
World. You're now free to explore the world a little bit now, so take the path
to the south to find a chest with SUGAR CANDY x1 and FRIED EGGS x2. Take the
path across the bridge and you'll eventually run into another chest, this one
with VIRUS NHAOS x1 and SOUR MILK x2 inside.

Go back and take the other path, which leads to the first event of the world
(grab the chest before it that contains SLEEP NHAOS x1 and POISON NHAOS x1).
Past the event, go east to find a chest with DARKNESS NHAOS x1, MOVE SEAL NHAOS
x1 and WARDING POWDER x1 inside. Follow the path, using the save point, until
you reach the next event.

There's a chest both just east and west of where the event marker was, with the
east one containing SKILL SEAL NHAOS x1 and HAMMER SCYTHE x1 (equip this on
Syrma), and the west one having SUGAR CANDY X1, PARALYSIS NHAOS x1 and FRIED
EGGS x1 inside. Reach the end of the path, where you'll find a save point and
the next event.

The next event is on the southern side of the map, then go to the one after
that, where you'll learn about changing your affinity. You can use this both
outside and in battle, although you are limited in battle to doing it once per
turn. This basically will make it easier for Peon Change and Item Change to be
successful, so make use of it very often.

At the next event, the ultimate god in the cage is freed and she manages to
kidnap Shirogane. When you get to the next event, you'll be thrown into a fight
Reu and some other enemies from the planet.

     .-------------.
======|  BOSS: Reu  |
     '-------------'
Reu has 400 HP and can use moves that can deal some decent damage, like Fighting
Spirit and Love Punch. It's best to not use any damage moves using SP with
Syrma, as her heal spell is needed here. The battle itself isn't too hard,
though, as long as you keep checks on your HP (Syrma tends to be hit harder than
the others) and keep whittling down Reu's HP.
======

After the battle, head to the nearest save point and leave the field if you
need. Doing this will heal up your party, as well as place you closer to the
next event, which will teach you about how to peonify the planet. On the map
(press Start), you can see stars with numbers, which are Planet Spots. Go to
each one and you will be required to perform a specific task (it might submit to
a certain personality or require you kill a number of enemies) in order to
absorb the Planet Energy.

*Spots 8, 9 and 10 will open up at the beginning of Chapter 3

**Spots 5, 6 and 7 open up once you unlock Praesepe Ruins, which is achieved by
 getting 100% Planet Energy on White World

Press L2 and you'll bring up a menu that gives you a hint on how to absorb the
energy that each spot. For example, the spot closest to you wants an item
(something salty and protein-y according to the hint), which is actually a Fried
Egg. Give it to the spot and you'll make it your peon.

For the other two, you will need to utilize the Peon Change aspect, so you'll
need to find a personality match among Syrma's newly acquired forms. The hints
allude to a "cute, mean girl," meaning that the Ego form is best for this
situation. You have to pick three responses that correspond to that personality,
exactly like Peon Change in battle. Once you absorb the three spots, head to the
next event to learn the Peon Ball move (or Ultimate Soul as it's now known).

Note that only Syrma can use Ultimate Soul, which can be accessed by pressing
right on the D-Pad when the list of commands is up. In order to use one, you
must have one remaining use, as well as 100 PP. You have to be careful, though,
as sometimes it can overload and hurt your own party. This happens when the
Overload meter reaches 10%, but it doesn't always happen. The Overload rate
increases when an ally is KO'ed, but it empties by using it or going back to G-
Castle.

     .---------------------.
======|  BOSS: Reu, Part 2  |
     '---------------------'
At the next event, it's another match with Reu. She has a little bit more HP
than last time and can still do some decent damage. You also get to see a new
monster in this battle, although it uses mainly fist skills and doesn't have
much HP, so it's nothing to worry about. If you did the same thing as you did
last time, you will come out victorious.
======

Watch the scenes after the battle, with Reu and Shirogane joining your party,
and it will be the end of Chapter 2.

If you didn't visit the Weapons Shop before, do so now and sell all of the
materials that dropped from enemies on Scarlet World to see new weapons and
armor in the shop. Revisit Scarlet World now, only after buying a Rusty Sword,
since one of the Planet Spots requires it. Head to the northwestern Planet Spot,
which will require said Rusty Sword, which undoes the red barrier.

This grants you access to Spot #10 (requires 50 enemy kills, which you should
hopefully have by now), as well as a chest by the lighthouse, giving you
CHOCOLATE CAKE x1, BACON AND EGGS x2, and FESTIVAL HAPPI COAT x1. For the last
spot available, use the Masochist form to captivate it. That's all you can do
here for now, so return to G-Castle and set off for White World.

*Spots 3, 4 and 8 will appear after the second event

The first event is straight ahead, but grab the chest on the left first
(DARKNESS NHAOS x1 and SOUR MILK x1). You'll meet up with Tsukika at the first
event, who sends Reu and Shirogane flying, so they leave your party for now, but
Tsukika will join. Make sure you use Arrange to get her into your active party,
as well as equip her with better stuff.

Now, White World is set up into different sections that you can get to via
teleports (green squares on your map). All of the teleports have a set location
they go to, so you won't get lost if you know where each one leads to. For now,
jump to the top layer and absorb the first Planet Spot (use the Bipolar form),
then take the northeast teleport.

This will set you clear across the map on the western side, where you'll find
Planet Spot #2 (needs a Sour Milk), as well as a chest on the southern side
(SLEEP NHAOS x1 and HEAVY MACE x1). The next event here will get you back Reu
and Shirogane, so if you need to change party members, do so (don't forget to
set some in reserve in case).

Take the other teleport, then Captivate Planet Spot #4 (needs Simple Bra) and
head to the northern part of this area, taking the teleport there. This will put
you in an area with a chest (VIRUS NHAOS x1 and FRAMED GLASSES x1; you'll need
the glasses shortly), so open it and back to the previous area. Take the middle
teleport in this area, and you'll appear at a spot with two teleports, one to
each side.

The teleport on the west side brings you to Spot #3, which only needs you to
have defeated 72 enemies so far. Meanwhile, the east teleport brings you to a
new area, where you can immediately access Spot #5 (will need to have defeated
60 enemies). If you've gotten every Planet Spot up to now on this world, then
you'll view a cutscene.

You'll have the option to leave, but stay for now, as your jumping ability has
gotten a boost, allowing you to jump higher. If you head down, you'll be able to
get on the two ledges to reach the two chests in the vicinity, netting you a
MONOCHROME RIBBON x1, SIMPLE T-SHIRT x1, SKILL SEAL NHAOS x1 and MY ORIGINAL
KNUCKLES x1.

Now, take the teleport directly underneath Spot #5, which will lead you to Spot
#8 (need Framed Glasses), as well as a chest (PARALYSIS NHAOS x1, FRIED EGGS x2
and RUSTY SWORD x1) and Spot #6 (need 50 enemy kills). Go back to the teleport
and use the one to the southeast of it, where you will find a save point, as
well as Spot #9 (try the Terse form).

Head back to the triangle teleports and use the southwestern one, where you'll
find Spot #7 (use the Hyper form), as well as a chest around the corner (GROW
GROW SHAMPOO x1, MOVE SEAL NHAOS x1 and SUGAR CANDY x1). Navigate the teleports
until you get back to the northwest section, where you can use your enhanced
jump to grab a chest (SAVVY SOAP x1 and METAL BEAM x1), as well as get to Spot #
10 (use Graceful form).

Note that getting to 100% and 300% Planet Energy will get your some Mugen
Points, as well as some G. Additionally, getting to 300% will make a very large
chest appear somewhere on the map. The one for this planet is located in the
spot with Planet Spot #9 and contains SILVER ORE x1, MARINE SHORTS x1 and PLAINS
DAGGERS x1. Use the save point to get back on your ship and once you're ready,
talk to Ryuto to see a new area.

------------------------------------NOTE--------------------------------------.
| There will likely be new people on your ship who will give out some free     |
| items. Their names will be listed, along with the items they give you. Note  |
| that this usually happens in every new chapter, usually whenever you visit   |
| the new world, so make sure you talk to everyone when you notice new people. |

'------------------------------------NOTE--------------------------------------'

Instead of going straight to Praesepe Ruins, head back to Scarlet World and
Captivate the Planet Spots to get 300% on the world. In fact, getting to just
100% will unlock a new area called Regulus Ruins (this holds true for all
"Worlds" in the game). However, immediately jumping to Regulus Ruins will have
all Planet Spots locked, so visit Praesepe and then leave to unlock a few that
will allow you to clear the entire area.

Upon immediately starting, there's a chest on the east side that contains
PARALYSIS NHAOS x1, WARDING POWDER x1 and SIMPLE T-SHIRT x1. At the split, go
west all the way to find a room with a floating chest (can't grab it yet) and a
normal chest (DARKNESS NHAOS x1, HEART SHAMPOO x1 and LOAFERSx1).

Head back a little bit and go south to another big room, with another floating
chest. Ignore it and grab the chest in the southeast corner of the room for MOVE
SEAL NHAOS x1, NIMBLE SOAP x1 and GRASS CUTTING SICKLE x1. Go back to the split
near the beginning and you'll see another chest right when the path goes south
(SUGAR CANDY x1 and EYE MASK x1).

Now, head south and grab the chest there (FLIGHTY SOAP x1, SLEEP NHAOS x1 and
SUGAR CANDY x1), then head west and into the little dead end for another chest
(FRIED EGGS x1, SOUR MILK x1 and STABBIN' STICK x1). There's a blue-colored
chest located at the end of the long corridor here, but you can't open it yet,
so you can head back to G-Castle and go to Praesepe Ruins.

Grab the chest next to the teleporter (WARDING POWDER x1, SOUR MILK x2, and
FRIED EGGS x2), then use the teleporter. The first Planet Spot is here, and
you'll need 155 kills to capture it (it counts all kills on White World). At the
event, you'll learn of the Damage Carnival, which lets you get more G and Mugen
Points as you deal damage to enemies.

Take the western teleport to find Spot #8 (requires a Warding Powder), as well
as a chest (SPARKLE SHAMPOO x1, SUGAR CANDY x1, ELVEN BOOTS x1). The next
teleport leads to a room with a locked chest, which you can't open yet, so go
back one room. Now, take the east teleport and you'll notice a chest on the map.
This one is in the air, but you can't grab it yet, so capture Spot #2 (use
Graceful form).

Use the next teleport to appear in a semi-round room, where there's nothing but
a chest for now (HEART SOAP x1, VIRUS NHAOS x1 and TWIN FLOWERS x1). Head back
to the room with three teleports and use the north one this time. There's a
chest behind the debris (HARD SOAP x1, SKILL SEAL NHAOS x1 and ANKLE SOCKS x1),
so grab it and use the next teleport.

Planet Spot #4 is in this room, but it requires a Sharp Fang, which is
purchasable from the Weapons Shop. Move on to the next room, where Spot #6 is
located (use the Sadist form). There's also an event here, but save before you
trigger it and switch out Nao (if you're using her) for someone else for now.
Yep, you'll be fighting against her in the next battle.

     .-------------.
======|  BOSS: Nao  |
     '-------------'
Nao is accompanied by two Jatayu, who has decent HP, and Nao has a lot more than
that. Although the Jatayu probably won't cause too much trouble, it's best to
take them out before they have a chance to. As for Nao, she can do some pretty
good damage, so you're going to want to use your big damage skills against her.
Just remember to not group characters together and keep your HP above 100.
======

Watch the scenes that follow your victory and this chapter will come to a close.

When you gain control of your party, you will be in G-Castle and there will be a
lot of new services available. In between the Weapons Shop and Notice Board,
there will be a NPC that allows you to create Peons for your party. In the
middle of the top area will be a NPC that sells you tickets for the Mugen Field.
As for the Mugen Field itself, there is an event on the lower level that will
open that up.

------------------------------------NOTE--------------------------------------.
|                                                                              |
| The Weapons Shop also gains some new services, as you can power up equipment |
| by increasing their max level (requires G Up) or enhancing them (leveling    |
| them using G). In the long run, enhancing equipment will give more power to  |
| your characters than anything else.                                          |

'------------------------------------NOTE--------------------------------------'

Mugen Field is a 100-floor dungeon that is completely optional, but is great as
it is a source to get stronger in a lot of aspects. It is the only place for you
to get G-Up, which is required if you want to level equipment. Basically, it's a
series of battles against ever increasingly-difficult enemies, with Rest Stops
at specific levels, where you can power up characters, unlock Peon classes and
more.

-----------------------------------GLITCH-------------------------------------.
|                                                                              |
| There is a glitch that causes the game to freeze in the Mugen Field,         |
| whenever a certain type of enemy is encountered. This type of enemy, called  |
| Slumbering Bosses, are boss-type enemies that usually appear at first under  |
| the Sleep ailment. NISA and Compile Heart are working on a fix, which should |
| hopefully be in a patch that comes out in June/July.                         |

*Spot 10 does not reveal itself until you defeat the boss of Amethyst World in
Chapter 10. You need the Ultimate Swim ability to get it, which is also acquired
after defeating the boss on Amethyst World.

When you're ready, talk to Ryuto and choose Rose World. There's a Planet Spot is
west of your initial position (needs Ankle Socks), and there's a chest east as
well (FULL-BODIED SHAMPOO X1, POWER PILL X1, and DRAGON SHOT x1). You can't grab
the chest on the island yet, so continue north across the bridge.

As you go around the bend to the east, keep going until you start going south,
where you'll find another chest (SPARKLE SOAP x1, SUGAR CANDY x1 and THIN APRON
x1). There's a teleport at the end here, but you can't reach it with your normal
jump, so go back and free Spot #2 (250 enemy KOs). Watch the scene that follows
and get ready for a fight.

     .----------------.
======|  BOSS: Onluka  |
     '----------------'
Onluka is accompanied by two Ring Dragons, but they are not the problem here, as
their damage shouldn't be too bad if you're around level 16-17. Onluka, on the
other hand, uses magic and it can definitely hurt, so make sure you don't group
your characters too much. In fact, she will likely just go around and use
Cyclone most of the time, so keep your health above 100 just in case.
======

After the battle, watch the scene and then absorb Planet Spot #1 (needs Move
Seal Nhaos), which will dissolve the red barrier. As you get to the event,
you'll get thrown into a battle and be taught about Blast Off. After the battle,
you learn about Coax, which can increase/decrease PP, as well as the Overload
Rate. If it's on, you will have to listen to Syrma and comply with her demands,
or the above two might have negative effects.

Past the bridge is another Spot, which can easily be gotten by using the Terse
form. Go north and into the dead end, where you'll find a chest (OUT MIRROR x1,
SOUR MILK x1, and BUZZ BUZZ SPEAR x1), as well as Spot #4 (230 KOs). East of
there is Spot #5, which requires 210 KOs. You can drop to the south to reach
Spot #6 (use Ditz form).

Go east from Spot #6, without dropping to the area below, and you'll run into
Spot #7, which requires a Melon Shampoo. North of that is Spot #9, which is easy
to get with the Graceful form. If you continue towards the north exit, there's a
chest close to it, which gives you a FLIGHTY SHAMPOO x1, SPIRIT PILL x1 and
COTTON PANTIES x1. There's nothing left to do here, so go back to your ship and
head to Spica Ruins.

*All Spots except for 1, 8 and 9 become available after the second event.

There's an event as soon as you enter, which introduces you to Fever Mode. By
fulfilling certain conditions, you can enter this, which is reset by going to
your home base. During it, you can earn more G and extra Blast Off Power by
launching your enemy into a ball of light that appears.

You need Fever Points (shown as stars in the upper left corner of the battle
screen), which can be gotten by destroying floating objects, destroying Small
Crystals or KOing enemies with Blast Off. Finish the battle while testing out
the new mechanic, then go behind the pillars to find a chest (SUGAR CANDY x1,
SPIRIT PILL x1 and FRIED EGGS x2).

Take the teleporter to the next room, where there's a chest off to the west
(POISON NHAOS x1, POWER PILL x1 and DISPLAY SWORD x1). There's another event
right around the corner, and Spot #2 before the teleport (use Masochist form).
Use the teleport to come to a room with Spot #3 (Virus Nhaos), as well as three
other teleporters.

Take the southern one, then the west in the next room, where you'll find a chest
at a dead end (WARDING POWDER x1, SLEEP NHAOS x1, and SIMPLE BOOTS x1). Go back
and take the south teleport in the previous room to enter a big room with a save
point. There's a chest by Spot #10  (DIVE BELL x1, SWIFT PILL x1 and RUBBER
SWIMSUIT x1), which requires the Sadist form.

Venture back to the crossroads and use the east teleport, which leads you into a
room with Spot #4 (280 enemy KOs), as well as a chest in the southeast corner
(DARKNESS NHAOS x1, SOUR MILK x2, and PLASTIC VEST x1). The west teleport leads
to two Planet Spots (first requiring a Fool's Dual Blades and the other 300
KOs).

From this room, head west to find Spot #7, which requires the Bipolar form. Note</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
that if you've reached 100% Planet Energy by now, you will view a cutscene and
the chapter will end. If not, it's likely Spot #1 opened up at the entrance to
this dungeon, which requires around 300 KOs.

After the battle, head towards the first Planet Spot and you'll see a chest
nearby (POWER PILL x1, SUGAR CANDY x1, RUBBER SWIMSUIT x1). The Spot will use
the Terse form, so capture it and take the teleporter. Straight ahead is an
event, so watch it and open the chest near Spot #2 (FRIED EGGS x2, MOVE SEAL
NHAOS x1, and PUSH GUARD x1; spot requires 2 Braised Tofu).

Follow the path until you see a chest off to the east on the map (there's
another behind a barrier; OUT MIRROR x1, SOUR MILK x2, and BRAISED TOFU x1).
Head north to find a save point and three teleports; there's a chest in the
corner here (WARDING POWDER x1, SPIRIT PILL x1, and GUN STAFF x1). Take the
middle teleport to find an event.

Go back and use the western teleport, heading up and find Spot #6 here (use
Masochist form). There's also a chest near there, so grab it to get SOUR MILK
x2, PARALYSIS NHAOS x1 and CHEERLEADER SKIRT x1. Return to the teleporters and
use the east one now, going across the narrow path to the southern section for a
chest (SUGAR CANDY x1, FRIED EGGS x2, and WILD COAT x1).

Back at the teleporters, go back the way you came to view an event. This will
open up some more Planet Spots for you to take over. The first one is on the
narrow path with a dead end to the southwest (355 KOs), with the second being in
the northwest section with the teleporters (needs Thin Framed Glasses). Your
goal is to get at least 100%, which will open up the ruins for this world.

Once you do that, you can either leave and continue with the story, or try to
complete the world with 300%. You shouldn't need any help locating the Planet
Spots, as more will become available as you capture the others. Also, the
requirements for them are listed above.

*Spot 10 requires the Ultimate Warp ability, which is gotten at the end of
Chapter 8.

The only requirement here is to get to the event, where you will have a boss
battle against Bertram and Alys. There's a chest slightly hidden at the
crossroads, next to the pillar (OUT MIRROR x1, SLEEP NHAOS x2, OUNCE O' SOUP x1)
If you go straight south, you'll see a chest in the long hallway (WARDING POWDER
x1, SUGAR CANDY x1 and FIGURE GUN x1). There's another chest directly east of
the room at the end of the long hallway (PARALYSIS NHAOS x2, SPIRIT PILL x2 and
RASEN  NO. 2 x1).

In the room with Spot #9 is another chest (DARKNESS NHAOS x2, SOUR MILK x2 and
PINK BALLOON PANTS x1). Right by the exit down south is yet another chest,
containing POISON NHAOS x2, OUNCE O' SOUP x1 and RIBBON PANTIES x1. That's all
that can be gotten down here, so head to the eastern section, where you'll find
a chest at the short dead-end path in the first room (MOVE SEAL NHAOS x2, FRIED
EGGS x2 and FLOWER HEADDRESS x1).

     .--------------------------.
======|  BOSS: Bertram and Alys  |
     '--------------------------'
Bertram is pretty much the same as last time, except he's definitely stronger.
Remember to not group your characters together too much, as he does have an area
attack that can inflict a lot of damage. As for Alys, she tends to stick with a
2-hit physical attack can do around 200 or so damage.

Keep pounding away at them with your skills and keep health above 250-300 at
least. You should be above level 25 by now, which means you have special moves.
These might take up a lot of SP at the level you're at now (and they use PP as
well), but they can make short work of the bosses once you can get use them, so
do use them.
======

Upon defeat, both Bertram and Alys join your party (they start at level 30) and
you'll eventually go back to your base. Talk to Ryuto and choose Violet World to
end the chapter.

As soon as you land, there will be a lengthy cutscene and you'll be thrown into
a G-Castle battle against Ace's dragon, Grand Blaze. Of course, depending on how
many Shampurus you have accumulated up to this point, it can be a very easy
battle or a very hard one. If you feel like you're going to have a hard time
against it, check some of the quotes below to see what it has in store.

     .--------------------------------.
======|  G-Castle Battle: Grand Blaze  |
     '--------------------------------'
From the get go, Ace will use Pierce a lot throughout the fight with Grand
Blaze, so it's something that you cannot block. Fast Attack, however, will
decrease the damage taken by G-Castle, so make sure you use that. Of course, if
you are hardly taking any damage, feel free to just keep using Pierce yourself
for a short battle.

- Kill you or something similar - Pierce
- This is bad - HP Restore
- Let's see what they do - Reflect
======

There's a long cutscene after the battle, then it's time to explore the planet.
As you go north and around the bend, continue south and then slightly west to
get to the raised area, where you'll find a chest (OUT MIRROR x1, BACON AND EGGS
x1, and BUTCHER SWORD x1). To the east of the path that's east of the one you
took is a little alcove with another chest (WARDING POWDER x1, DRINKABLE YOGURT
x1, and RIBBON BRA x1).

Head to the southeast corner to find another chest that is golden, which you
can't open now. In fact, the rest of the chests on the map are ones you cannot
open at the moment. That means you should go around and concentrate on capturing
the Planet Spots to get 100% Planet Energy, which will open Alrami Ruins.

*Spot 10 requires the Ultimate Warp ability, which is gotten at the end of
Chapter 8. Note that the nearby Planet Spot will power up the Warp, allowing you
to reach Spot 10.

In the first big room, there's a chest in the northeast corner, containing SOUR
MILK x2, SUGAR CANDY x2 and SIMPLE CHOKER x1. In the northeast corner of the map
is another chest with DIVE BELL x1, FRIED EGGS x2 and SILVER BUNKER x1. At the
main intersection, go south and there will be a chest directly to your east
(WARDING POWDER x1, BACON AND EGGS x1 and DEVIL CANNON x1).

If you go south at the four-way split, you'll come to a save point and past that
is an event. This event leads to a G-Castle battle with a ship called G-Chaser.
Now, depending on how much grinding you've done, it's very possible this battle
can be easy or hard. Remember that the more Shampurus you get, the more powerful
G-Castle becomes.

     .-----------------------------.
======|  G-Castle Battle: G-Chaser  |
     '-----------------------------'
Atlalt-tistis will usually start out with Attacks and Fast Attacks, so you can
use Reflect to send that right back. However, be careful, as sometimes she can
throw in a Pierce here and there. Once you start taking down some of the ship's
HP, she will begin spamming Reflect and sometimes HP Restore, so you can fall
back on Pierce to finish the battle.

Note that she can alternate between Reflect and HP Restore at times, even with
the same quote.

- We'll lose if we don't go all out... - Attack
- Don't hold it against me... - Fast Attack
- I need to calm down... - Reflect
- There's nowhere to run now... - Fast Attack
- Instead of attacking blindly... - Reflect
- Should we fortify our defenses...? - Reflect
- Their attacks are more intense than I expected... - Reflect
- We need to think of something... - HP Restore
======

After the battle, you'll then have to do battle against Altalt-tistis.

     .-----------------------.
======|  BOSS: Altalt-tistis  |
     '-----------------------'
Altalt brings along four big beasts, two Wing Gashes and two Neo Beasts, both of
which you've fought before. However, they're a bit powered up, so things will be
slightly more difficult. They can do some major damage with some attacks, so
make sure you have some HP-restoring items that affect areas, if needed. They
should definitely be taken out as quickly as possible, so use some skills.

As for Altalt herself, she has an area of effect skill that hits multiple times,
as well as single target skills, that also hit multiple times. Add that to the
fact her range is pretty large, she can pile up the damage quickly. While it's
wise to leave some characters grouped to heal easier, it's also wise to make
sure they're not all grouped together. Keep blasting with skills and when a
Special Move becomes available, use it to deal massive damage.
======

Once the battle is over, you'll get Kakeru in your party and learn the Ultimate
Snag ability, letting you reach those chests that are in the air (pink and
purple chests on the map). You'll appear back on your base, so revisit worlds to
grab the new chests.

- Regulus Ruins - Ounce o' Soup x1, Braised Tofu x1, Techno Parka x1
- Regulus Ruins - Melon Shampoo x1, Bacon and Eggs x1, Hawaiian Sunglasses x1
- Praesepe Ruins - Power Pill x2, Bacon and Eggs x1, Boost Scythe x1

There are more chests that require Ultimate Snag, but they also require other
abilities, so you can't get them for now. When you're ready, go back to your
ship, talk to Ryuto and select to go to Crimson World, which will begin Chapter
7.

There's a chest right by your initial drop off point, which contains ORANGE
SHAMPOO x1, WARDING POWDER x1, and STRIPED RIBBON HEADBAND x1. There's an event
down the path, then a chest after that (PANSY SOAP x1, APPLE CANDY x1 and
BRAISED TOFU x1). Note that Planet Spot #3 will change your Ultimate Vault,
allowing you to jump higher.

Go north and you'll find a chest in the air by the series of little cliffs, so
snag it to get LEMON SHAMPOO x1, SLEEP NHAOS x2 and DENIM OUTERWEAR x1. Head
back to the intersection (you likely don't have the item for Spot #4 yet) and go
across the bridge. Take the first teleport you come across to get to an isolated
area with a Planet Spot, a save point and a chest you can't open.

The other teleport to the north of the first has another Planet Spot and a chest
that contains VALLEY SOAP x1, FRIED EGGS x3 and SINGLE PIERCING x1. Note that
this Spot boosts your Ultimate Snag, so you can use it open the two floating
chests that require the boosted Snag. The one close to the teleports contains
OUT MIRROR x1, SOUR MILK x3 and RIBBON BRA x1, while the other has WATERMELON
SHAMPOO x1, DIVE BELL x1 and OUNCE O' SOUP x1.

Get to 100% Planet Energy, collect the rewards and you'll be presented with the
choice to try and go defeat Crimson World's ultimate god or not. Since you're
unlikely not strong enough (he'll be a little bit weaker if you go after him
later), it's best to choose no for now, which will end this chapter.

*Spot 10 requires the Ultimate Decrypt ability, which is acquired at the end of
Chapter 12. When you inspect the spot, the requirement for that Spot is
revealed.

In the second room is a chest by the southeast teleport (OUT MIRROR x1,
DRINKABLE YOGURT x1 and BACON AND EGGS x1). The southern of the two floating
chests contains WARDING POWDER x1, SKILL SEAL NHAOS x2 and GOGGLES x1. Head to
the big room with an event, but don't trigger it yet. Instead, take the south
teleport to find a floating chest (DAISY SOAP x1, DARKNESS NHAOS x2 and
MATCHLOCK x1).

Leave and go back to the beginning. In the second room, take the first teleport
to appear in the separated section of the first room, which has a chest (LIME
SHAMPOO x1, VIRUS NHAOS x2 and BUTTERFLY RIBBON x1). In the room after that is a
floating chest, which contains LAVENDER SOAP x1, POISON NHAOS x2 and WOOL SOCKS
x1. The floating chest (requires the Snag powerup from Spot #9) conains KIWI
SHAMPOO x1, SWIFT PILL x2 and STRIPED SHOES x1.

Go and trigger the event now for a boss fight.

     .-----------------.
======|  BOSS: Scorpio  |
     '-----------------'
Scorpio is definitely strong and his one attack can deal around 800-1000 damage,
so make sure you have more than that. Add all the little monsters around him and
you have a nasty battle on your hands. Thus, it's best to take out all of the
little monsters first to minimize the damage, since all of Scorpio's attacks
only hit one person.

Also, something you should be doing is trying to break the large crystal, as its
effects will be hindering you in this battle. Build up your Blast-Off Points
then use them to knock the large crystal around a lot. Once you do break it, the
battle will be slightly easier. Remember the Ditz form has increased healing, so
use that with Syrma whenever you need some extra HP healed (which is what Syrma
should be doing).
======

Winning the battle will get Dees in your party, as well as earn you the Ultimate
Hunt ability, which lets you unlock the locked blue chests you've been
encountering. The powerup to this ability allows you to open the gold chests.

At first, it may seem like you can't go anywhere, but go west at the first split
and you'll find out you can walk on the pipes leading south. This will lead to
the first event, so watch it and then head around the bend to find a chest (DIVE
BELL x1, CHOCOLATE x1, and DRINKABLE YOGURT x1). As you start going southeast,
you'll see a bridge and more paths ahead.

If you keep going southeast, take the southwest path at the split to find the
next event. Next, head to the southeast corner of the entire map to find a
floating chest (PLUM SHAMPOO x1, POWER PILL x2, and INFRARED TIGHTS x1). Planet
Spot #1 upgrades Ultimate Hunt, letting you open the golden chest near the
starting point (STRAWBERRY SHAMPOO x1, WARDING POWDER x1 and GHOST NAILS x1).

Your goal now is to get 100% Planet Energy, which will trigger a cutscene to
start, giving you your next objective. You have to find Tioni, although the two
characters do not join your party. You will have to head to the northeast
corner, which is where the next event is. Planet Spot #2 will power up your
Ultimate Vault, allowing you to reach the chest on the ledge to the east
(CHOCOLATE x1, MISO SOUP x1 and GINGER PORK x1).

Planet Spot #5 will power up your Ultimate Snag, so get that and head to the
purple chest in the east section of the map (BANANA SHAMPOO x1, OUNCE O' SOUP
x1, and SEXY HIGH HEELS x1). The floating chest in the north contains OUT MIRROR
x1, MOVE SEAL NHAOS x2 and GREEN ONION SLICER x1. When you get to the event,
it's time for another boss battle.

     .---------------.
======|  BOSS: Tioni  |
     '---------------'
She is accompanied by a Death Stalker and a Dottan, both of which are big
monsters and thus, have high HP and do have some strong attacks. The Dottan is
weak to Graceful attacks, while the Death Stalker is weak against Masochist
attacks. Tioni, herself, has a slight weakness to Ditz, so if you have any
attacks with that Moe Affinity, use them.

As for attacks, Tioni is a pure mage and has strong magic attacks, with Darkness
and Ogre Darkness being AoE attacks, so make sure you don't group characters
together. The rest of her attacks hit single targets, and quite a few can
inflict the Virus ailment. It's very possible for some characters to get one-
shotted with some of her attacks, but you should have more than enough items to
revive them.

Of course, the plus side of allies getting KO'ed is that PP soar (assuming you
can revive them easily), meaning it will be easier to use the Special Moves,
which always inflict huge damage. In fact, that will be main source of damage to
get Tioni down, so make sure you use them.

After the battle, you'll learn the Ultimate Warp ability, which lets you use
those teleports you haven't been able to up until now. You also learn the
origins of the twelve worlds and the ultimate gods, which will bring this
chapter to a close.

This dungeon is special when compared to the others, as the large crystals will
have the SP or HP Damage effect, meaning your SP/HP will continually drain in
battles. On top of that, you'll notice that there is a Turn Counter of 60 that
will reset for each battle. Should this reach zero, then you will get a game
over.

In the second room is a chest, which contains DIVE BELL x1, POPPY SOAP x1 and
BACON AND EGGS x2. If you Captivated Spot #1, then you got an upgrade to
Ultimate Hunt, so head northeast from the second room. The chest here (requires
Ultimate Hunt upgrade) contains ROSE SOAP x1, SPIRIT EXTRACT x1 and FLORAL APRON
x1.

Now, the chest in the northeast of the one you're in, as well as the one
southeast of the second room both require the upgraded version of Ultimate Snag,
which can be gotten from Spot #2. Before you do switch, though, go northeast and
take the southern teleport, which will bring you to a big room with another
Ultimate Hunt chest (PEACH SHAMPOO x1, BACON AND EGGS x2, and FUR BOOTS x1). The
last Ultimate Hunt chest contains OUT MIRROR x1, OUNCE O' SOUP x2 and LASER
SLASH x1.

Go back to the second room and capture Spot #2, which will upgrade your Ultimate
Snag ability. After this, go southeast and grab the chest there (APPLE SHAMPOO
x1, BRAISED TOFU x2 and HOCKEY MASK x1), then go to the room with Spot #6, where
there's a normal chest (WARDING POWDER x1, ALL SLEEP NHAOS x1 and MISO SOUP x1).

Taking the other warp in the same room should place you in a room with three
other warps and a floating chest (BLUEBERRY SHAMPOO x1, ALL MOVE SEAL NHAOS x1,
and HIGH GLASSES x1). Return to the big room to grab the floating chest there
(ANEMONE SOAP x1, MANGO SHAMPOO x1 and YAKISOBA BREAD x1), then go grab the
upgrade for the Ultimate Warp, which you'll need to get to the far northeast.

There's a normal chest here (ALL POISON NHAOS x1, DRINKABLE YOGURT x2 and
DRAGON'S FIRE x1), so grab it and then all that's left to do is Captivate all
Planet Spots to get 300% in the area. The next stop is Gray World.

*Spots 9 and 10 do not reveal itself until you defeat the boss of Amethyst World
in Chapter 10. Captivating those two will reveal Spot 3, allowing you to get
300%.

Planet Spot #1 gives you an upgraded Ultimate Warp, which can be used to the
southern strip of land, where you can find a normal chest (VIOLET SOAP x1, POWER
EXTRACT x1 and HIGH-GRADE NHAOS x1). There's a floating chest near the first
warp that requires a powered up Snag (Spot #2; OUT MIRROR x1, APPLE CANDY x1 and
TWISTY BULL HORNS x1).

Go to the event, which will have Elka joining your party and unlock more Planet
Spots. Continue north and grab the floating chest up on the cliff (WARDING
POWDER x1, ALL SKILL SEAL NHAOS x1 and IRON PANTIES x1). Keep Captivating spots,
getting the Ultimate Hunt upgrade from Spot #6, then go down the path on the
left side of the map.

There's a normal chest about halfway (GRAPE SHAMPOO x1, ALL-PURPOSE PILL x1 and
DRINKABLE YOGURT x2), as well as a golden chest at the end (OUT MIRROR x1, OUNCE
O' SOUP x2 and KNIGHT SCYTHE x1). Once you get to 100% Planet Energy, you will
have the choice of going straight to the ultimate god or not. It's best to
ignore it right now and choose to come back later.

Planet Spots #3, 9 and 10 can't be gotten right now, so head to the next area,
which is Scheat Ruins.

*Spot 10 does not reveal itself until you defeat the boss of Amethyst World in
Chapter 10.

Go into the first room and there's a normal chest on the north end (OUT MIRROR
x1, OUNCE O' SOUP x2 and SNEAKER-STYLE BOOTS x1), then peonify Spot #2 to get
the upgraded Ultimate Snag. This will allow you to get the floating chest in the
southwest corner of the same room (MELON SHAMPOO x1, ALL DARKNESS NHAOS x1 and
GATLING KNUCKLES x1).

Head west and then south at the split to find another floating chest (WARDING
POWDER x1, ALL PARALYSIS NHAOS x1 and MATAGI VEST x1). Go north, grabbing
another floating chest on the way to the very north room (DIVE BELL x1, ANEMONE
SOAP x1, and BUTTERFLY MASK x1). If you've been Captivating all the spots along
the way, you should have access to Spot #8, which upgrades your Ultimate Hunt
ability.

Luckily, there's one of those chests in the same room, which contains POWER
EXTRACT x1, DRINKABLE YOGURT x2 and BRASS PENDANT x1. Now, head back south and
grab the gold chest you passed up, which contains ALL SLEEP NHAOS x1, BACON AND
EGGS x2 and WOODEN BANGLE x1. There's one last gold chest in the room with the
event (GOLD ORE x1, ALL POISON NHAOS x1, and ORPHAN ROAR x1), as well as a
normal chest (ROSE SOAP x1, SWIFT EXTRACT x1 and DOGGY HEADBAND x1).

Trigger the event for a boss fight.

     .------------------.
======|  BOSS: Aquarius  |
     '------------------'
Aquarius is accompanied by three Fish Eaters and three Yama Crabs, which you
should have fought before on Gray World. While they may not be too much trouble,
it's always best to take them out first to avoid any problems that may happen
later. This is especially true since the Fish Eaters can poison and the Yama
Crabs can inflict Move Seal.

What's even more problematic in this battle is that the large crystal might have
a bad effect, like HP or SP Damage, making it a top priority to break it. When,
and if, you do this, make sure you use Fever Mode to help increase EXP, G and MP
by knocking any enemies left into the blue spheres in the sky.

As for Aquarius, it has a few multi-target moves that will knock you back, so
make sure you don't group characters together often. Remember that Ditz has
increased healing, so if you're using Syrma, use that form coupled with Heal S
to heal pretty decent. Keep yourself healed and don't be afraid to use heavy
skills to quickly finish the battle.
======

After finishing the battle, you will learn the Ultimate Walk ability, which lets
you move faster at your base and in the field. You'll return to your base, so
choose Amethyst World to start the next chapter.

*Spot 9 requires the Ultimate Decrypt ability, which is acquired at the end of</pre><pre id="faqspan-3">
Chapter 12. When you inspect this spot, the required item/form description is
revealed.

When you first land, there's no Planet Spots open, so you will have to get some
events first. There's a normal chest at the dead end right next to where you
land, which contains DANDELION SOAP x1, MISO SOUP x1 and THICK GLASSES x1. There
isn't anything else to do for now, so follow the path until you arrive at the
event.

You'll be thrown into a boss battle that you cannot win, so just accept defeat.
If you want, there's a save point ahead, which can be used to go back to your
base to heal. Once you do that, head back to the save point again and go to the
next event, which will make some Planet Spots appear. While Spot #7 grants the
upgraded Ultimate Snag, you can't get any of those chests yet.

Once you get the three Spots that had appeared, a cutscene will occur and some
more will show up. Spot #2 upgrades your Ultimate Hunt ability, which allows you
to get one golden chest near Spot #5 (). Get the second set of Spots taken and
another cutscene will occur, this time with Onluka joining your party. Captivate
the rest of the spots to get 100%, which will bring you to a G-Castle battle.

After finishing off the G-Castle battle, you'll get thrown into a battle with
the mysterious woman.

     .-------------.
======|  BOSS: ???  |
     '-------------'
The boss will come with a Phoenix and two Slight Foots, all of which you should
have fought before. Since they are bigger monsters, they will have more HP and
they should be a priority to get rid of first, so you don't have to deal with
their attacks and status ailments that come with them.

As for the main boss herself, if you remember her moves from the unwinnable
battle before, you'll find out she has the same ones. The biggest problem is
that most of her moves are multi-target and the only one that isn't (Phantom
Mirage) deals some major damage to a single target. To add on to that, two of
her moves can inflict Poison, which doesn't help if you get a HP Damage effect
on the large crystal.

You have a few choices, like with recent boss battles. You can go after the
large crystal and try to break it by continually using Blast Off to knock the
enemies into it. This will negate the negative debuffs it is casting on the
field. Another thing is you could just ignore it and go straight after the main
boss, whittling down her ~55K HP using skills and special moves when they become
available.
======

After the battle, you will gain the Ultimate Swim ability, allowing you to move
on the water. This gives you access to all those chests on the islands that you
couldn't get to before, meaning there's a large treasure hunt in the making.
Also, both Soul and Supra (the boss you just fought) join your party.

While Alrescha Ruins may be open, there isn't much you can do there right away,
as you won't be able to access the one Planet Spot available and most of the
chests in the open require an upgraded Fusion ability. However, there is one
normal chest in the second room (ACEROLA SHAMPOO x1, ALL SKILL SEAL NHAOS x1 and
PILE BUNKER x1) and it might be a good idea to fight some battles to get
materials for weapons/armor.

Whenever you're done, talk to Ryuto and set sail for Jade World, beginning
Chapter 11.

As soon as you gain control, you should see a chest straight ahead, which
contains DIVE BELL x1, CHOCOLATE CAKE x1 and BACON AND EGGS x3. There's another
normal chest in the little dip in the map as you start going east (CHERRY
SHAMPOO x1, ALL PARALYSIS NHAOS x1 and BLOOD TRANSFUSIONER x1). Continue east
and you'll see yet another chest east of a big enemy (WARDING POWDER x1, ALL
POISON NHAOS x1 and FRILLY BIKINI x1).

You have the choice to go either north or south, with south leading to two
Planet Spots, as well as another chest (VIOLET SOAP x1, MILK GELATO x1 and RICE
OMELET x1). Note that Spot #4 gives you an upgraded Ultimate Snag, so make sure
you get that. Head north and then around the bend, to the south, bypassing the
event and grabbing the floating purple chest (OUT MIRROR x1, POWER EXTRACT x1
and CAT MASK x1).

Trigger the event now and be prepared for a battle. You'll be fighting two
Clockwork Keeps and four Micro Bursts, all of whom are weak against Graceful
attacks. Unless you're severely underleveled and have not been enhancing
equipment (the bigger of the two problems), you should be able to treat this as
a random encounter.

A new Planet Spot should appear, which grants you an upgraded Ultimate Hunt. Get
it, then open the gold chest to the north of it for APPLE SHAMPOO x1, MILK
GELATO x2 and FLARED BOOTS x1. Go to the next event and you'll be thrown into
another battle, this time against two Gun Stalkers, two Hiding Killers and three
Zashiki Dolls.

This battle can be highly annoying, especially if the enemies start breaking out
the Draco skills. The Zashiki Dolls should go first, since their spells can
paralyze you. The Gun Stalkers and Hiding Killers aren't too bad, although they
have multi-hit physical skills.

After the battle is over, head south of the event you just finished and open the
gold chest there for PEACH SHAMPOO x1, ALL SKILL SEAL NHAOS x1 and FANCY SKIRT
x1. Go to the next event, which should open a new Planet Spot. Now, just go
around and Captivate the spots until you reach 100% Planet Energy, which will
open up the next area. Before going there, you can head back to Alrescha Ruins
and do some cleaning up.

**Spot 9 requires the Ultimate Decrypt ability, which is acquired at the end of
Chapter 12. When you inspect the Spot, the requirement for that Spot is
revealed.

Spot #2 in the second room grants the upgrade to Ultimate Warp, so grab that and
keep going through the normal path, Captivating the Planet Spots you can. In the
fourth room, take the warp on the south end (requires Ultimate Warp upgrade) and
grab the chest there (MANGO SHAMPOO x1, MISO SOUP x2 and BACON AND EGGS x2).
Now, head to the big room on the far right and take the warp to the isolated
portion of the room before.

In the first room should now be a Planet Spot that grants an upgrade to the
Ultimate Hunt ability, so grab it and open the nearby chest (DIVE BELL x1,
SPIRIT EXTRACT x1 and KUNG FU SHOES x1). There are two more gold chests you can
open in the dungeon, one in the third room (OUT MIRROR x1, POWER EXTRACT x1 and
ELEGANT BOOTS x1) and one in large room (ACEROLA SHAMPOO x1, CHOCOLATE x2 and
ANGLED GLASSES x1).

Go back and Captivate Spot #5, which will get you the upgrade for Ultimate Snag.
You can see three purple floating chests on your map, with one of those being in
the same room as Spot #5 (LILY SOAP x1, ALL VIRUS NHAOS x1 and DEMON EXORCISER
x1). The next is in the large room (APPLE CANDY x1, BRAISED TOFU x2 and
DRINKABLE YOGURT x2) and the last in the isolated portion of the room before
(CHERRY SHAMPOO x1, ALL DARKNESS NHAOS x1 and BEADED ROSARY x1).

That's all you can do for now, so head back to G-Castle and go to Elnath Ruins.

*Spots 8 and 9 require the Ultimate Decrypt ability, which is acquired at the
end of Chapter 12. When you inspect those spots, the requirement for that Spot
is revealed.

As soon as you land, grab the floating chest for a WARDING POWDER x1, APPLE
CANDY x2 and MISO SOUP x2. Spot #3 will grant you the upgrade to Ultimate Hunt,
allowing you to open the gold chest just west of it (CHOCOLATE x3, GINGER PORK
x2 and SUPPORT BANDANA x1). Instead of continuing west, take the north path and
you'll come to an event and a save.

Feel free to save, but don't trigger the event yet, as there's a gold chest
behind it (MANGO SHAMPOO x1, ALL VIRUS NHAOS x1 and ETHNIC COAT x1), as well as
a normal chest in the room (OUT MIRROR x1, VIOLET SOAP x1 and YAKISOBA BREAD
x1). If Spot #1 has shown, then Captivate it to get the upgrade to Ultimate
Snag.

There's a floating chest in the top right corner of the map (APPLE SHAMPOO x1,
CHOCOLATE CAKE x1 and SLIT KNEE HIGH BOOTS x1), as well as one in the big room
to the west of Spot #3 (DIVE BELL x1, SPIRIT EXTRACT x1 and LADY BLUDGEON x1).
While Spot #4 grants an upgrade to Ultimate Warp, that particular warp leads to
a room with nothing you can get yet.

Note there's one last gold chest at the end of the long hallway going south
(BLUEBERRY SHAMPOO x1, ALL DARKNESS NHAOS x1 and MEMORIAL MITTENS x1). Go
trigger the event and get ready for a boss battle.

     .---------------.
======|  BOSS: Sandy  |
     '---------------'
Sandy is accompanied by a monster called Elder Breaker, with both at level 80.
The Elder Breaker is going to be annoying because of its one Conditional Skill
that nulls all direct physical and magic damage from the front. It also has some
high damaging skills that hit multiple characters for multiple hits, meaning
that Syrma should be on healing duty with her Ditz form.

Sandy, on the other hand, can be just as devastating, but she should be your
first target. Keep your characters together until you defeat her, as her one
Conditional Skill ups the power of her skills (a Draco and God tier one) by 50%
if used on a single target. Other than the aforementioned skills, though, she's
nothing to worry about.
======

After the battle, Sandy will join your group and the chapter will come to a
close.

*Spots 9 and 10 require the Ultimate Decrypt ability, which is acquired at the
end of Chapter 12. When you inspect those spots, the requirement for that Spot
is revealed.

Choose to go to Sapphire World now and you'll be thrown into a boss battle as
soon as the initial scenes are over.

     .----------------.
======|  BOSS: Gemini  |
     '----------------'
The boss is accompanied by four Mizuchis, which are newer enemies. They are
Masochists, so they are vulnerable to Sadist skills, but they are also annoying
because they know the Blizzard-type skills. That means that they have a chance
to poison you, which shouldn't be too bad in the battle. Thanks to one of their
Conditional Skills, they can regenerate 7% of their HP back once their turn
comes up.

As for Gemini, the boss has around 63,000 HP and can regenerate some HP every
time its turn comes up, thanks to its one Conditional Skill. As for skills, Dead
Script is one to watch out for, since it has a chance of inflicting Death. The
other one is God Rising Smash, which can inflict a lot of hits, but only to a
single target. Thankfully, all of its skills can only hit single targets, so
there's no problem with grouping characters together.
======

After the battle, you'll end up on the actual planet, so head straight ahead to
find a chest (ANEMONE SOAP x1, GINGER PORK x2, FANCY SHORT BOOTS x1). Trigger
the event, then Captivate Spot #2 to get the upgraded Ultimate Snag. Continue
until you get to a warp, so take it and you'll be able to grab a floating chest
(PEACH SHAMPOO x1, ALL MOVE SEAL NHAOS x2, and FRINGE BOOTS x1).

If you continue along this new area, you'll find a normal chest at a dead end
that contains WARDING POWDER x1, MISO SOUP x2 and STURDY BELT x1. Once you
capture enough Planet Spots, a cutscene will happen and more will be unlocked.
Now, Spot #7 gives the upgraded Ultimate Hunt ability, so make sure you grab
that.

A little northeast of the warp is a gold chest, which contains OUT MIRROR x1,
ALL SLEEP NHAOS x2 and SHINING BEAM x1. There's also another gold chest in
between the two warp points (GRAPE SHAMPOO x1, ALL PARALYSIS NHAOS x2, and
PLEATED SKIRT x1), as well as another in the southeast corner (ROSE SOAP x1,
CHOCOLATE CAKE x1 and BRONZE SOCKS x1).

Get the Planet Energy above 100% and a cutscene will happen. Welsh will join
your party and Castor Ruins becomes available, so head back to G-Castle and set
sail to the new destination.

*Spots 5, 7 and 10 require the Ultimate Decrypt ability, which is acquired at
the end of Chapter 12. When you inspect those spots, the requirement for that
Spot is revealed. Captivate those three and Spot 9 will show up.

As soon as you step foot, grab the chest in front of you to get WARDING POWDER
x1, ALL POISON NHAOS x2 and GLASS RING x1. In the next room is another chest by
the Planet Spot, which happens to grant an upgraded Ultimate Hunt (DIVE BELL x1,
CHOCOLATE CAKE x1 and BRAVE DANCE x1). If you got the Ultimate Hunt ability,
there's a gold chest in the third room (POPPY SOAP x1, ALL DARKNESS NHAOS x1 and
GREAT BEARD x1).

The room with the save has a normal chest that contains ROSE SOAP x1, SPIRIT
EXTRACT x2 and IRON PENDANT x1. Take the north warp in the room with the save to
find a floating chest (MINT SOAP x1, YAKISOBA BREAD x1 and KNIFEPROOF VEST x1).
In the room with Spot #8 is a normal chest that contains OUT MIRROR x1, ALL
VIRUS NHAOS x2, and SEXY TUNIC x1. Take the west warp to come to a room with a
floating chest that contains ANEMONE SOAP x1, ALL HIGH-GRADE NHAOS x1 and FLOWER
SHOES x1.

You need to Captivate Spot #6 to get Ultimate Warp upgrade, then head northeast
of the save point to find an event, which leads to a boss fight.

     .----------------.
======|  BOSS: Gemini  |
     '----------------'
This is the other boss that you didn't fight before and it doesn't seem to be a
particularly hard battle, as it's only one enemy. Wild Fang can cause Death, so
be on the lookout for that skill, and Darkness/God Darkness are multi-target and
can inflict Virus (SP reduces each turn). The boss has a slight weakness to Ditz
attacks, so if you have any, feel free to use them, but it shouldn't matter.

As far as Conditional Skills go, it has the 50% boost in damage if area of
effect magic is used on a single target, as well as regeneration of SP by 5%
each turn it gets, which isn't as bad as the HP regeneration the other one had.
======

Once you finish the battle, you'll be thrown into another boss battle against
both Geminis.

     .----------------------.
======|  BOSS: Gemini Twins  |
     '----------------------'
Things are a little more challenging this time, especially since you're fighting
both. Luckily, neither gained any new skills and they have the same Conditional
ones as well. Since both have skills that can cause Death, the more problematic
of the two will be the one with the SP Restore, since she has skills that can
inflict Virus.

It's also likely the large crystal will be causing problems in the battle, so
you can try to use Blast Off to knock the Gemini twins into it and break it. As
long as you keep tabs on your characters HP and you didn't neglect enhancing
equipment, you should be fine.
======

After the battle, watch the scenes and the final chapter will automatically
begin.

There's a normal chest around the first bend, which contains LILY SOAP x1, SWIFT
EXTRACT x2 and RICE OMELET x1. After Captivating the first two Spots, you'll see
a cutscene and then can continue further. You likely have gotten the Ultimate
Hunt upgrade from Spot #2, meaning you can open the gold chest near Spot #4
(WARDING POWDER x1, BIG COTTON CANDY x1 and LINGERIE VEST x1).

Keep capturing Spots until you view another cutscene (the last one likely got
you the Ultimate Vault upgrade), then continue across the frozen water. When you
get back onto land, you can jump onto a ledge with a normal chest (COSMOS SOAP
x1, BIG COTTON CANDY x1 and KNUCKLE BREAKERS x1). Captivating Spot #6 will show
yet another cutscene, as well as grant the Ultimate Snag upgrade.

As you go north now, you should see a purple floating chest nearby, which
contains DANDELION SOAP x1, POWER EXTRACT x2 and SWEET WAR HELM x1. Getting 100%
Planet Energy will start a long cutscene and open up Hamal Ruins. Don't leave
just yet, but go and grab the floating purple chest just south of Spot #9
(VIOLET SOAP x1, RICE OMELET x1 and EVENING CALM x1), then you can head to Hamal

Do not trigger the event you come across yet, as it leads to the final boss
battle. In the very first room is a normal chest, which contains LILY SOAP x1,
DIVE GONG x1 and BIG COTTON CANDY x1. Continue into the next room, but head left
into the littl alcove to find another normal chest (WARDING POWDER x1, COCONUT
SHAMPOO x1 and UNDERBELT x1). If you go west through the long hallway, you'll
find Spot #4, which will grant you the upgrade for Ultimate Hunt.

With this in tow, you can open the gold chest in the previous room to get
DANDELION SOAP x1, RICE OMELET x1 and PILE STRIKER x1. Go back to the long
hallway and continue west to the northwestern room, where you'll find a normal
chest (OUT MIRROR x1, ALL HIGH-GRADE NHAOS x1 and FRANKENSCREW x1).

From that room, head south and you'll find another gold chest (OVERWHELMING PILL
x1, BIG COTTON CANDY x1 and SHINING BLADE SPEAR x1), as well as a normal chest
in the southwest corner (OVERWHELMING PATTY x1, MINESTRONE x1 and GOTHIC RIBBON
BOOTS x1). Go and trigger the event and get ready for a boss fight!

     .-------------.
======|  BOSS: Ace  |
     '-------------'
There is a 60 turn limit in the battle, meaning each time someone's turn is
used, the counter will reduce by one. If it reaches zero, then you will get a
game over. Both Ace and the dragon he comes with are level 95, with close to or
slightly more than 100,000 HP. That means you're going to need to be able to do
some good damage quickly.

Of course, both have skills that can pile on the damage and one skill that can
inflict Death (Chaos Meteor Cross for both). Luckily, this move can only hit
people around them, so it has a limited range. Both have attacks that can reduce
your stats some and both have a God-tier spell. The biggest problem comes from
Ace's one Conditional Skill, which allows him to block one attack before his
next turn, so make sure it's a regular physical attack to save SP.
======

Once you win the battle, watch the cutscenes that follow and enjoy the normal
ending.

____________|                                                       |___________
============|         XVI. FINALE - OVERWHELMING CONCLUSION         |=(N100)====
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯|                                                       |¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
           O~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~O

The walkthrough for Chapter 13 deals with the Normal Ending for the game, but
there is also a True Ending, which has a few prerequisites that must be met
first. Note that the True Ending can be achieved on the first playthrough, but
it might be best to save it for a New Game+, since you retain items, Charm
Levels and plenty other things.

The first one is that every Moe form for Syrma must be at Charm Level 15.  This
is easily done by getting 300% Planet Energy in all areas you visit, although
some are not possible to achieve. However, if you wait until a second
playthrough, the Shampurus you receive from getting 300% should be more than
enough to get Charm Level 15 for all forms.

If not, then you can go to Mugen Field (the Slumbering Boss freeze glitch is
still active at the time of this posting) and use Peon Change to get more
Shampurus. Additionally, the earlier worlds are good and easy enough to Peon
Change the enemies for more Shampurus.

Once you have the Charm Levels at 15 for each form, you're going to need enough
Bronze Tickets (10 total) to open up the Rest Stops for Mugen Field at floors 30
and 60. These tickets can be gotten from certain chests, from Challenges and you
can even get a free DLC pack (Overwhelming Ticket Set) from that PS Store that
gives you 10 free Bronze Tickets.

                                /=============\
================================(  MUGEN FIELD  )===============================
                                \=============/

With everything done above, it's time to start diving into the Mugen Field, with
the first visit required during Chapter 4 to Chapter 7. This is because you need
to reach the Rest Stop at floor 10 in order to view one of the events before
finishing Chapter 7, which causes it to disappear until the next playthrough.

This scene involves the Sadist form of Chou-Chou, but there will be other events
that need triggered before that one appears (you can trigger them one after
another in a row). After you trigger this scene with the Sadist form before the
end of Chapter 7, you can continue the main story until you reach Chapter 13.

As soon as the chapter starts, DO NOT visit Ivory World yet and head straight to
the Mugen Field. You need to venture down to the Rest Stop at level 30 and view
all of the events there involving Chou-Chou's forms. If you get to level 30,
make sure you save at the Rest Stop, since you need to do the same thing on the
level 60 Rest Stop (view all events there).

                         /=========================\
=========================(  TRUE ENDING WALKTHROUGH  )==========================
                         \=========================/

Once you have viewed all of the scenes with Chou-Chou's forms on level 30 and 60
in the Mugen Field, you can exit and go back to G-Castle. If you've done
everything right, then there should be an event icon on the top level. Trigger
this and you will have to fight the Sun Goddess.

     .---------------------.
======|  BOSS: Sun Goddess  |
     '---------------------'
Both the Sun Goddess and her friendly help, Maximum Weapon, are level 115 and
the large crystal will likely have some detrimental effects to hinder your
chances of victory (HP Damage, SP Cost Up and Ultimate Soul Unusable). You'll
see why it might be important to quickly take out the large crystal.

As for skills, Sun Goddess has two that can inflict Death (Chasing Beam and
Delta Strike), both of which are multi-target. She also has a Conditional Skill
that restores her HP by around 7,777 for each turn that comes around, as well as
another that grants her 100% accuracy once PP reaches 100 or more.

Now, Maximum Weapon is the bigger threat and should be targeted first, due to
its one Conditional Skill, Perfect Evasion. This allows all physical and magic
attacks to miss if PP goes above 100, meaning all attacks will miss (although
Ultimate Soul still hits). It also has the 100% accuracy Conditional, as well as
one single target Death-inflicting skill (Genocide Braver).

With powerful enough weapons, it should be easy to get rid of Maximum Weapon
(75,000 HP) before its one skill kicks in and allows it to dodge everything. If
not, then you WILL have to destroy the large crystal and then use a Ultimate
Soul on it, which will likely kill it in one hit due to the Charm Levels.
======

If you triggered and defeated Sun Goddess, you are now on the True Ending path.
Now, go to Ivory World and proceed as directed in Chapter 13 until you get to
Hamal Ruins and have to fight Ace again.

     .-------------.
======|  BOSS: Ace  |
     '-------------'
If you've done the Normal Ending already, then this battle plays out similarly
to that one, except Ace and his dragon are level 125 now. The 60 turn limit is
still in effect, so you're going to need to deal a lot of big damage quick,
since you have two enemies to kill. Ace has a slight weakness to Graceful
attacks, while his dragon has a slight weakness to Hyper ones.

As mentioned in the Normal Ending walkthrough, Ace and his dragon has a multi-
target skill that can inflict Death, called Chaos Meteor Cross, but it only hits
around them, so don't bunch characters together. They both have a new skill
called Supreme Dragon Slash, which hits a single target for good damage.

Ace also has a new Death-inflicting skill called Genocide Braver (Maximum Weapon
in the Sun Goddess fight had it, too), but it only hits a single target. The
biggest problem is Ace's one Conditional Skill, which allows him to negate the
first attack before his next turn, so don't waste SP and use a regular attack if
you can.
======

After the battle, some scenes will play out that will lead into the Finale
Chapter.

                            /====================\
============================(  WORLD OF AWAKENING  )============================
                            \====================/

This is only available during the True Ending, with you starting on G-Castle.
Speak with the NPCs around the ship to get some free items, then make sure
you're ready before talking to Ryuto and choosing the new destination. When
you're ready, choose the World of Awakening.

You may have noticed various barriers while exploring the worlds, with enemies,
chests and even Planet Spots behind them. Those barriers are now gone, so you
are free to revisit older areas to fight the enemies (they can be tough), get
those chests and Captivate the Spots.

There's nothing really to this final area except for the final bosses, so make
sure you're prepared before going here. First up is a G-Castle battle against
Awakened Tioni.

     .---------------------------------.
======|  G-Castle BOSS: Awakened Tioni  |
     '---------------------------------'
It's difficult to pinpoint a specific strategy against G-Castle bosses, since
their difficulty depends on whether you've gotten a lot of Shampurus or not.
That's because Shampurus make G-Castle more powerful and if you've been getting
300% on all possible worlds, then you should be good enough for this battle.

It definitely helps to have gotten G-Castle Parts that grant you level 2
abilities, particularly Pierce, Reflect and possibly HP Restore. Although they
might not be needed, they do help make the battle go much quicker. Awakened
Tioni has around 100k for all of her stats, so that should be where your stats
should be (if not more).

- So sleepy - Reflect
- *Staaaare* - Pierce
- Hm... - Pierce
- Hmm... - Pierce
- Nyuu... - Reflect/SP Restore
- Fwaah... - Reflect
- ... - ATK/DEF Strengthen/SP Drain
- No more... - HP Drain
- No... - ATK/DEF Strengthen
======

There will be more cutscenes after the G-Castle battle, then you'll be thrown
into a normal battle with Tioni.

     .------------------------.
======|  BOSS: Awakened Tioni  |
     '------------------------'
First off, you will notice that Tioni comes with two Wicked Dragons and a Death
Blade, all of which are level 200 (including her). Don't let that fool you into
thinking you need to match her levels, as equipment matters a lot more than
levels in this game. Of course, the battle still isn't easy, as your characters
will likely die a couple times, so make sure you don't group them too close
together.

The two Wicked Dragons are nothing much and should be easy to take down, but
it's the Death Blade that will be a big problem in the long run. It has the one
Conditional Skill that allows it to dodge all physical and magic attacks should
PP go above 100. That's not mentioning the array of skills that lower stats, one
that poisons and another that can inflict Death.

As for Tioni herself, she has two Conditionals that activate when her HP drops
below 50%. The first boosts her magic, attack and defense, while also letting
her evade magic attacks. The other nulls the first attack before her turn, as
well as negates all damage done on even turns (press Triangle to see the turn
number at the top). Her skills are also quite deadly, with one or two being able
to one-hit KO some characters if their HP is low.

You have one of two options for this battle, with the first to quickly take out
the Death Blade before its Undisputed Command Conditional activates (it has
around 73k HP). With the Death Blade gone, you can slowly whittle Tioni's HP
down, keeping in mind the damage nullification for first attacks and even turns
when her HP gets under 50%.

If the Conditional does activate, then you can try to Frenzy the large crystal,
then use Ultimate Soul to deal a lot of damage or even outright clear the
battle. In fact, this is probably the easiest option out of all of them, since
it makes the battle quite simple.
======

Upon winning the battle, you will have cleared the True Ending, so
congratulations! You will get Tioni, Ace, Chou-Chou and Altis to join your party
and you will appear back on G-Castle. There should be an event here that will
let you explore the World of Awakening, complete with its own Planet Spots.

You should also see a NPC on the left side with a star, which lets you restart
the story with all levels, equipment, items, etc (basically a New Game+). What
resets is your party (they will rejoin at their current level) and all worlds
and Planet Spots go back to normal, meaning you can get all the items again.

Q) Who is the best party in the game?
A) It all depends on who you want to use. Syrma should always be included, due
  to her unique skills, but everyone else is entirely up to you. I stuck with
  Syrma, Nao, Ryuto and Tsukika for the main storyline.

Q) Why does my game keep freezing in the Mugen Field?
A) There is a bug/glitch in the NA and EU versions of the game, where the game
  will freeze on the "glass shattering" effect for battles whenever a
  Slumbering Boss is encountered in the Mugen Field. This is completely random,
  but NISA and Compile Heart are working on a fix.

  Don't let it deter you from using Mugen Field, but remember to save at the
  Rest Stops should you do.
