Welcome to Leisure Suit Larry 5 for the PC. A sequel to the text based
adventures released in 1991 by Sierra.
The walkthrough for this game is complete and includes a point list. By
following the walkthrough you will also get all points in the game. If you
spot any errors or have suggestions please feel free to e-mail me about it.
Enjoy!
Move Larry with the mouse, right mouse click cycles through the commands or
use the menu where you also have the inventory. The menu is at the top of the
screen when which also includes Settings and Help.
Save = F5
Load = F7
Quit = CTRL+Q
Unlike the previous Larry games, you cannot die in game nor get stuck. There
are always ways out of a situation but that doesn't mean you should save often
on different slots. You can tackle the scenarios in different order if you
wish.
The number in the ()s is the amount of points you get during the game. They
are listed again in the point list for a quick overview.
Info about bugs and copyright problems can be found on Al Lowe's personal
homepage, www.allowe.com (31st April 2005) There is bug fix that addresses
the mud wrestling and pop-up window at the beginning as well as making the
frame rate drop in certain animations.
Before you start, there is a bug in the game that makes the first text box
regarding non-typing adventures pop up too quickly. There is a fix but you can
also just quickly grab the coffee pot after watching the intro and press Enter
to remove those pop-ups. Once you have taken the pot the pop-ups will have
stopped. If you did not watch the intro, just go into a room for a similar
result.
Skipping scenes with the fast forward option means you will not gain any
points you otherwise would have received.

After you have watched the intro you'll need to grab the coffee pot (1). If
you skipped the intro then you'll also skip this part. After you are back out
of the office and received the camcorder (1), look at the breasts in the
bottom right corner (1) and drink from the water cooler (1). Go through the
door and take the Gold Card (5) from the machine on the desk. Look inside the
top drawer of the first locker on the right and look inside when it's open to
get the 3 files (8). Open your inventory and look at Michelle Milken's file
(1), Lana Luscious' file (1) and finally ChiChi Lambada's file (1). Also look
at the business car you have found (1). Exit the room and go left into a small
corridor. You'll end up in your workroom. Take the three tapes next to the TV
the bottom (6) and turn on the 8-track player in the top left corner (5). Use
your hand on the big barrel to disinfect (1) and then use a tape on the
degauss machine (2) that's on the desk next to the lamp. Use the 2nd tape on
it too (2) and finally the last one (2). Open the left drawer in the desk to
get the battery charger (8). Exit the room and use the battery charger in the
socket next to the coffee machine (8). Insert the camera (3) and wait for it
to reach 100% (look at it). Grab it when done (1) and insert a tape into the
camera (4). Exit the building to the right, look at the statue (1) in the
fountain and step into your limo.
___L.A.X.___
------
Use the ticket machine close to the entrance, insert your gold card and select
New York. Input the copyright protection code and take the boarding pass (4)
along with your gold card. Walk into the airport and use the gold card on the
camera (9) to get access. Sit on the chair for fun if you wish, then use the
ticket on the slot next to the door (7). While you are on the plane, take the
blue magazine (8) in front of you and read it (5). Larry will fall asleep.
___F.B.I. Laboratory___
-----------------
After some scenes you'll end up in the FBI Lab. Ignore Twit and look at the
lone researcher (3), then look at the 2 researchers (3) for some more
experiments. Walk to the right for your contact details (1), then look at the
single scientist here (3). Go inside the door for a physical. Back in the lab,
you have 2 choices of completing the next part. First pick up the yellow
DataMan (5) though.
1. Take the blue DataPak (13) and then the Purple DataPak (13).
2. Go outside into the limo, use the phone to call 555-2779 and wait for a fax
and then grab it (13). Dial 555-2779 once again for another fax, get this
one too (13).
Take the bra (6) in the first section of the lab. Look at it (2) and use it on
yourself (5). Go outside and enter the limo. Pick up the champagne bottle (6)
and insert the Reverse Biaz DataPak into the DataMan (7). Use it on the
driver to get going (8).
___LaGuardia Airport___
-----------------
Leave the lounge and take the quarter from the charity box (5). Walk left one
screen and look at the middle advertisement board (1). Go right twice and use
a phone to call 552-4668 (3). Exit the terminal and enter the limo. Take the
notebook (12) and look at it (11). Use the napkin in your inventory to show
the driver.
___Hard Disk Cafe___
--------------
Walk behind a plant to relieve yourself (1). Then enter the cafe. Talk to the
maitre 'd 9 times to get a membership tape (3). Use the machine and sit down
inside. Michelle will walk past (3). Go back and use the tape on the music
box at the bottom of the screen (12). Use the machine again and the next one
as well to enter the Herman Hollerith room (12). Switch on the camcorder in
your inventory and talk to Michelle until she allows you to join her. Talk
to her 3 more times and then give her the notebook (5), the credit cards (5)
and finally the bundle of cash (5). You'll record her in the act (20). When
you are done here (40), use the phone to call 552-4668 and order a limo (2).
Exit the cafe and enter the limo.
___LaGuardia Airport___

Use the ticket machine close to the entrance, insert your gold card and select
Atlantic City. Input the copyright protection code and take the boarding
pass (4) along with your gold card. Inside the terminal, use the gold card on
the camera to get access. Then use the boarding card on the slot next to the
door.
___des Revers Records___
------------------
Enter the rotating doors and look at the directory listings on the left. Look
at the Revers Records listing in Room 900 (3) and talk to the guard. Show him
the DataMan/Fax to call the elevator (6). Take the golden record (12) and use
it on the record player. Play it forward (3rd button) and move the stylus. You
will soon get a message (3). Press the reverse button (1st button) to get
another message (3). Click the 5th button to play it at a faster speed. When
you get yet another message (3) press the forward button again for the last
message (3). Press stop (2nd button) and take the record. Go into the door
at the top and use the piano to play. For the first two takes you need to play
something random. If you don't play at all Reverse will say it was too scarce
and start over. On the third take Patti will play by herself so just relax (8)
and listen. Afterwards you'll be in the studio so offer him champagne. He'll
get drunk and offer you are sample (40), then mention there are subliminal
messages (18) too. In the limo, use the DataMan to remove the old Datapak,
then insert the P.C. Hammer one and look at it (1). Show the Dataman to the
driver to get going.
___Atlantic City Airport___
---------------------
Walk out of the lounge and look at the limo ad (1). Go left and use the 2nd
slot machine from the left to get a quarter (5). Plug the charger in the
socket, then recharge the camcorder and take it with you. Walk to the right
screen and use the phone. Call 553-4468 (3) and exit the terminal to get to
the limo.
___Tramp's Casino___
--------------
Talk to the woman twice and guess her number. You get 10 silver dollars (2).
Go inside and play at a poker machine.
Poker

If you don't know the rules of poker or how to win then find a guide somewhere
or read a book about it. To make money in this game, save when you have won
and reload when you didn't. Pairs will get you nothing but at least you don't
lose money. Always bet the highest amount you can. After you have $525 or more
you can cash out.

After you have cashed out, go up one screen and give the bouncer $25. Walk
down the steps and when Jennifer comes out, look at her close-up. Leave the
casino and go right a few screens until you see the Ivana skates shop. Walk
up to the counter and talk to Ivana. Give her the camcorder (8) as deposit
and leave her shop. Sit on the bench and wear the skates. Bump into Lana (6)
to sit down with her. Talk to her 5 times (2) and she'll leave. Remove the
skates and return them at the shop for your camcorder (3). Go back to the
casino and into the stage area. Give the bouncer $500, "Lemme at 'em" (12) and
turn on your camcorder. Walk down the steps again and Lana will enter. If you
did not use the fix for this game, the next part is close to impossible on a
modern machine. You need to grab all the body parts popping up on screen until
you fall out of the ring (40). When you are done (20) you'll be outside the
casino. The man here can call you a limo (2) so get in.
___Atlantic City Airport___
---------------------
Use the ticket machine close to the entrance, insert your gold card and select
Atlantic City. Input the copyright protection code and take the boarding
pass (4) along with your gold card. Inside the terminal, walk left and plug
the charger in the socket, then recharge the camcorder and take it with you.
Put an empty tape into the camera to replace the old one. Look at each to see
which one is empty. Use the gold card on the camera to get access in the main
hall, then use the boarding card on the slot next to the door.
___K-RAP Radio___
-----------
Once you enter open the door to the right, the code is 45954 (1). Look into
plant and take the key (10). Pick up the letter opener (4) and open the desk
with the key (13). Look inside (5) to find a code, write it down somewhere.
Pick up the folder as well (5) and look at it (4). Use the folder on the photo
copier (12). Return the folder to the desk and place the letter opener on it.
Throw the key back into the plant too. Go left and enter the shower/elevator
(7). Downstairs take the clothes (1) and go right. Use the code you just wrote
down on the door in the middle. Take an empty reel from the orange shelf and
place it in the machine on the left (4). Use the controls next to it to
change varies things, a message will appear each time. Do so until you hear 2
Live 2 Screw (8). Record it onto the reels (4). Stop the recording, rewind it
and the pick it up (7). Use the controls once again to raise the volume of
the microphone and speak it to break the glass (15).
___Miami Airport___
-------------
Leave the lounge and go left to collect 2 quarters from the cigarette
dispenser (5). Look at the advertisements to find one for limos (1) and another
one for green cards (1). At the right side of the screen use a phone to call
554-1272 (7) and then 554-8544 (3). Leave the terminal and find the green card
in the trash can (12). Use the limo and show the driver the business card.
Go upstairs into the office and pick up the lace doily (5) on the table. Talk
to the receptionist twice and answer all the questions correctly:
1. Do you have dental insurance? Yes
2. Do you have LOTS of dental insurance? Yes
3. Are your teeth overly sensitive? No
4. Do you ENJOY pain? Yes
5. Do you enjoy sharing your pain with others? Yes
6. Do you enjoy mechanical objects in your mouth? Yes
7. Do you enjoy other people's hands in your mouth? Yes
8. Do you enjoy rubber in your mouth? Yes
9. Do you swallow? Yes
10. Have you ever heard of AIDS? No
11. Do you know anyone who has ever hired a lawyer? No
12. Do you know the definition of 'malpractice'? No
She'll book you an appointment but that's not good enough (13). Use the phone
to call 554-3627. Stand and use the lace doily on your head (8). Talk to the
receptionist to get inside. Look at ChiChi when she comes in and switch on the
camcorder. Touch her breasts are few time to unbutton it (2). Talk to her 3
times and give her the green card (15). You two will go down into the gym for
some sexercises (40) and you'll end up having it all on tape (20). Return to
the office and call 555-8544 for a limo service. Go downstairs to enter it.
___Miami Airport___
-------------
Use the ATM to buy the last boarding ticket with your gold card (4). Chose the
only available destination and head inside the terminal. Use the gold card to
enter the lounge and use the boarding card when it's time. When the plane is
skydiving you'll end up in the cockpit. Use a few buttons to save everybody
(100).
___The White House___
---------------
After a few scenes, use the bra by either touching yourself or using the bra
in your inventory to shoot Julius Bigg (100). Watch the ending. Enjoy!
