Hi and welcome to the Law and Order II: Double or Nothing game
FAQ. This is to help all of those Law and Order fans who are
stuck somewhere in the game, or for you losers who are to
sissy to actually play the game without cheating (lol).

II. Walkthrough


Finally, it begins!


a. Story (courtesy Law and Order manual)


A leading scientist has been found brutally murdered,and you need to track down
the killer. Was it his bitter wife? The jealous mistress? His domineering boss?
Or the jealous co-worker who uncovered his controversial research? It's up to
you to catch the killer and win a conviction.

b. Starting Out

At the start of the game, you will partner with Det. Lennie Briscoe as a
detective. At the beginning of the game, and again when you become
Assistant District Attorney, you will need to choose two (2) stregnths for
yourself. Explanations are as follows. (again thanks to Law and Order Manual)


Interview - Choosing this skill will eliminate some unhelpful questions during
interviews, making it easier to select the best questions and get the
information you need.


Teamwork - When this skill is selected, your supervisor will give you hints
about what dto do next. Youl'll recieve hits on your phone, on the chalkboard
in the precinct, and via fax in the A.D.A.'s office.


Case Organization -- If this skill is chosen, you'll get help obtaining search
and arrest warrants. You'll also find out what to include in your subpoenas
for trial. Hints appear in your case file.


Evidence Collection -- With this skill selected, your cursor will change to a
magnifying glass over hot spots in scenes where you can search for evidence,
making it easier to find all the clues.

You can try any of them, but my favorite are Interview and Teamwork.

c. Detective

Ok this is where it starts. You arrive at the crime scene, and you are briefed
about what happened. Then you are free to explore and do what you like.

I. Inside of Car

Once you are inside the car, take the keys and use them to open the glove
compartment. When you open it, look at the wallet. You will find the identity
of the victim, William Ramos, and his address in Long Island.  You don't need
anything from the glove compartment, so leave it alone. Step out of the car,
and "take" the window from the passenger side, you'll need it later.

II. Interview of Doorman

After you are done with the car, go and interview the doorman, Al Bartkowski,
he discovered the body. Be sure to ask him the questions he would know the
answers to. He will mention a tenant in Apartment 4-B. When you are done
with him, go and see her.

III. Interview of Linda Keller

Once you get to her, ask her about what happened. She will say she wants to
know why she is getting asked so many questions, and you will find out she
worked for Ramos, as his "assistant".

IV. Interview of Mrs. Ramos

When you visit the victims residence, you will need to interview his wife.
She will get upset when you ask the last question, but don't get worried.

V. Interview of Diana Quinn

Mrs. Ramos will mention a co-worker of her husband, a Diana Quinn. Go to
Avery Labs and interview her.  She will tell you his boss' name. Go and
interview him.
