I'm not going to get into the details onto which mission unlocks which sub
mission or outfit, because if you plan on getting all the trophies, you are
going to get all these any ways...
+Some outfits that are needed for a trophy require you to AAA rank certain
missions, since you'll be AAA ranking all of them any ways, this shouldn't
matter.
This goes the same with doing overtime objectives in all missions, they some
times unlock extra things, and even submissions. So your first time through
the game, you should focus on these, and if you can't get them, put the game
on easy and REALLY focus on them... after all, if you are going for the AAA
ranks, you'll want to get them any ways.
During all of your play throughs, before going for AAA ranks in which time
isn't a factor, even on easy, ALWAYS try for a 43+ hit combo on any small
enemy. Use rapid fire punches to do this easier. When you get to choose which
item you want, ALWAYS choose the yellow moon crystal, not only are they the
rarest (you'll have max health and roses fairly fast), but one very
annoying trophy requires you to have about 9,999 so the girls start giving
you gifts.
Save your money as best you can! Never buy stat increases, as again, you'll
find them in levels. Also, DO NOT BUY THE 100,000,000 suit! If you really
want it, make sure you buy the outfits for the girls first for roughly the
same price, wait till the trophy pops up, then turn off your system!
(This works for many other games, as well as the other collectable
trophies you need to buy like power ups for the left and right arm,
however, most are useless, and would only suggest doing this for Ice
cannon).
So lets recap.
+Don't waste money on stats
+Don't buy the Hundred million suit till you have all the Girl's outfits.
+Always pick Moon Crystals
+Always do the overtime objectives even if you don't care about ranks.
For tips on how to tackle enemies, levels, and bosses on harder levels, and
how to AAA rank them, look in my AAA rank FAQ for those tips.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Perfect Killer (Platinum)
---Collected all Trophies.
As with any other Play Station game, this unlocks the moment you get your
last trophy.
FUn fact, a platinum does not add to your "level", only Bronze, Silver, and
Golds do.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Kidnapper Executed (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 1.
Beat the first mission. To my knowledge, you literally cannont lose this
mission.
In fact, you can beat this mission blindfolded, drunk, and with your pinky
toe. Yes, not even using your big toe.
Really, the first level is a "walking" tutorial.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Toast to Forerunner (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 2.
A very small level, very easy to beat, it will teach you the ropes of regular
combat, as well as how to use the adrenaline rush attack at the very end.
Again, the boss at the end is another one you can beat blindfolded, though
it might be harder if you choose to use your feet this time.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Alice in Dead Land (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 3.
A level that pays a homage to the bizzaro world of alice in wonderland, as
well as parodies the token "go here, fetch this" kind of mentally most games
have... wasn't it obvious when you light the goat heads and the wall is
shaped like a puzzle? Get it, you solved the puzzle?
Those Goat heads are a throw back from Shadow of the Damned.
In this level you'll learn some advanced techs, and get your arm cannon.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~9 to 1 on Goliath (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 4.
David Vs Goliath, since they literally break the 4th wall so many times, it's
almost cheating Vegas if you took that bet. Hint, Mondo wins.
This is the first real level, and I find it funny that Mondo says "How Boring"
when they recycle the same enemies from the previous two levels in.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Had a Bad Dream! (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 5.
A lot of walking, followed by a boss fight.
If you have the big arm cannon unlocked, a semi charged shot (you don't need
a full one) will kill a clone instantly, and can be used to kill many at once.
If you attack a hollowed bitch, it will put you in 2nd person view (yes, it's
one of those rare times it happens.)
If they are all red and full, they will gather in the middle, make sure you
kill one ASAP as they will do a very annoying attack.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~No More Spoils (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 6.
A very long level, and ironically enough, the music level's background
music IS NOT on the soundtrack, what the hell?
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Scratch One Samurai (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 7.
A hide and seek level, with good music, which is also missing from the
sound track... why?
Oh well, your controller with vibrate when you are close to a target (bascially
the only ones you should have to look for are on the roof on the house next
to all the bamboo and under the bridge from the east of the start.)
A lot unique enemies are in this level, as well as a boss, which will
remind you that this game does in fact have a block button. That annoying
jump move that is super hard to dodge? Just hold in circle!
You may say, dam, this hurts my arm hitting circle in this long drawn out
fight! That's the idea.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~In Your Dreams (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 8.
More great back ground music absent from the soundtrack... this level has you
naked in the sense you have none of your dark matter moon robot parts, so you'll
have to kill everything toe to toe.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Brought Down to Size (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 9.
A very long level, do not get tricked into trying to kill those 6 guys with
sniper rifles... either wait till the biker chick shows up, or adrenaline
rush them for cool kill points.
When you first see the big guy, ingore enemies here.
Don't forget Scarlett right before the end, and that big charged arm cannon
at any charge level takes and eye away from the boss to save time.
The second half of this level as so good sci-fi tunes, not found in the
soundtrack...
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~The Skinny Controller (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 10.
The trophy name is obviously a referance to a penis. And some of the level
has a contra feel to it.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Won't Play With You (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 11.
A boss fight. Pure and simple. When you get to the end of it, make sure you
aim up.
In the first part, if she sits still, look up, there are probably 3 lasers
about to start twirling around.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Moon King (Bronze)
---Completed Episode 12.
Final level with a third boss fight, the final part is just like the matrix,
I share. I get like a Trigun had sex with dragon ball for the second fight.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Bryan-Approved Sniper (Bronze)
---Killed 100 enemies using head shots.
This should come naturally.
If you really want to boost this, mission 6 has a part with unlimited
spawning enemies where a giant club holding wire. Again, no need to go this
far, unless you are just trying to get as many trophies in one play through
and return the game.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Brilliant Shoulder Throw (Bronze)
---Used "Just Guard" 100 times.
This should come naturally, especially if you plan to survive on the higher
difficulty levels. I found the shield enemies easy for this task. I wouldn't
try to do this on any of the bigger enemies.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Float Like a Gadfly (Bronze)
---Used "Dodge Burst" 100 times.
Should come naturally, a dodge burst is basically a better timed shoulder
throw, it's almost like "witch time" from Bayonetta, only it does the damage
for you.
Remember that this move takes blood, but doesn't require it. The higher the
difficulty level, the more it takes, remember this.
David 1st, 2nd, and 4th form, you can pull this off multiple times during
one of his combos if you time it right. The 3rd form, it's one of only ways
to do reliable damage to him.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Suck Like a Leech (Bronze)
---Killed an enemy using the "Burst Rush."
If you on getting the above trophy, you'll probably kill at least one enemy
along the way.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Feeling So High (Bronze)
---Sliced an enemy upward and finished it in the air.
I like to do this in mission 8, where you only have your sword. You can do
this any where however. Once an enemy is in the air, they float for a while.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Have You Got Clean Hands? (Bronze)
---Killed an enemy with an enemy attack.
The giant enemies with clubs will do this most likely, or those spiky eyeballs
that explode once damaged a bit. It's only one enemy you need, so it should be
hard.
There is also a Scarlett mission that requires this.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Sexy Man Whose Blood is Dripping (Bronze)
---Increased BLOOD to maximum upgrade level.
Collect roses. Never buy them, unlike other games in this genre, like Devil
May Cry to name one, you don't need to find/buy anything to max out your
stats.
Since roses come out of vases everywhere, you should get this without trying.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Ultimate Physical Beauty (Bronze)
---Increased HEALTH to maximum upgrade level.
As with the above, just collect Green gems. Never buy them.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Cash Enough For Love (Silver)
---Have a total of $100 million in cash.
As I explained in the prep, you'll need exactly 100 mil to buy all the female
outfits needed for the trophy.
To get money the slow easy way, you can repeatily do the first mission on
the hardest setting.
Doing mission 11 on hard is also a quick way (very hard takes a tad bit longer)
But the Weight limit elevator mission on Very Hard is the best way I found,
start off by get full blood, then using adrenaline rush like crazy. If you
get hit, don't worry, just beat the mission, and keep trying.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Passport to Infinity (Bronze)
---Changed costume to Ulti-Mondo.
After you beat the game, you get access to two game breaking items, this,
which doubles your offense and defense, and an arm that gives you unlimited
blood.
The second isn't required for a trophy, but the first is. It basically lets
you look like you do when you preform an adrenaline rush, or when you fight
David in the last mission for the second time.
Warning, this outfit destroys your score, though you can still hit AAA
ranks as it goes by a % formula, you'll be broke... and it takes the fun out
of the game.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Mondo's Girls Collection (Silver)
---Collected all female costumes.
Read the prep and the 100$ cash trophy for some insight. Basically once you
have the four costumes unlocked to buy, wait till you have enough to buy them
all, this way you can get the 100 mill trophy, then turn off the game after
the trophy pops up if you didn't want to waste the money (and say, rather
spend the money on the other 100 million dollar white suit, which is David)
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Passionate Girl (Silver)
---Made Natalia your prisoner in body and soul.
Get Nat to fall for you around three times. Basically don't get greedy with
your stares and you should be fine.
This shouldn't be an issue if you can do it once. Once you get more items, it
will get even easier.
Make sure to always buy a rose, it's dirt cheap, and use up all the cheap
items first.
Remember, she gives you the drill, then the charge cannon. He first time can
be won with two of the starting 3 objects.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Geisha Girl (Silver)
---Made Koharu your prisoner in body and soul.
Same as above, just a different girl. She gives you the blue goo gun.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Lucky Girl (Silver)
---Made Scarlett your prisoner in body and soul.
Scarlett works differently, you need to fill her meter by completely her
challenges. The first time you complete a challenge, it is worth more, so
naturally the more you have open, the easier this is to do.
I wouldn't worry about this, if you plan on getting all the AAA ranks, you
should be retrying this missions plenty of times to make this trophy a non
issue.
The first attempt at this will give you X-ray glasses.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Right-Hand Man (Silver)
---Increased all Attack and Special skills.
Simply buy all non gun skills, and this trophy is yours. Though you can save
moon crystals by buying them all, waiting for the trophy to pop up, then
quiting the game, I wouldn't worry about that, because most of these are worth
it... however with the guns...
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Left-Hand Man (Silver)
---Increased all sub-weapons to maximum upgrade level.
Buy all the upgrades to the guns, they are expensive. I would use the trick
I mention above for the Ice cannon, as it is near useless in the long run.
The Drill too, I next really don't know the point to upgrading this.
Rememeber, there is a trophy that needs you to have 9,999 moon crystals, so
this can cut the time down.
Or not, it's your choice. If you are cool killing enemies, chances are you'll
be farming for money and retring levels for AAA ranks before you need to
farm for moon crystals.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Scarlett Chaser (Bronze)
---Unlocked 6 challenge missions.
There are 20 challenges, refer to the next trophy for more details.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Scarlett Stalker (Bronze)
---Unlocked 12 challenge missions.
I lied, it's actually the next trophy with the details.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Scarlett-Approved Stalker (Silver)
---Unlocked all challenge missions.
Remember, this is JUST FOR UNLOCKING the missions, which means all you have
to do is find Scarlett in 20 different locations. I would say more than half
of them are in places you should find on your own, and since there is no
jump button, and invisable walls all over the place, they aren't too too
hidden. Either way, here are the locations.
And before I begin, remember where they are, for everytime you talk to her
in a level, she will give you FULL BLOOD. Use this if you are empty.
The first two missions have are Scarlett free.
Mission 3:
1. At the start of the level, run up the stairs. If you trigger the cutscene
through the door, you went too far.
(Combo 1)
2. In the middle area, where Alice stands waiting for items to be handed to
her, you should see Scarlett chilling on some steps. To get to her, you'll
need to stand on a heart. It will bring you up.
(Katana 2)
3. Right before the boss door up the stairs, break all the pots, if I'm not
mistaken, she'll be in the last one you break.
(Target 1)
Mission 4:
1. After you venture through the first mirror, behind a few giant green
pots is a cracked wall you can drill. She is behind it.
(Trick 1)
2. In this same area is a switch hidden in a green vase. This opens a door
down the bottom, which holds a room with another green vase which holds
Scarlett.
(Target 3)
3. Before you take the final mirror the boss area, you will hear Scarlett's
sparkle noise. Head up stairs to find her in the open.
(Survival 1)
Mission 5 is empty, obviously she can't be in your dreams...
Mission 6:
1. After the chick on the bike helps you out, she is in a box under
neath the stairs.
(Katana 3)
2. When you get to the circluar elevator area, you'll be able to enter
a door in which once you take a right will have a bunch of speakers
and switch. Hitting the switch will make an explosion and reveal her.
(Combo 2)
3. When you are final done with the elevator area, you will see steps.
She is in a box to the right of these steps.
(Trick 2)
Mission 7: Remember to always grab her in this mission as it is
required for overtime pay!
1. Next to the exit of the level, but way before you are able to head
out, there is a fenced in area. If you use your aim mode, you'll no
doubt see a ton of destroyable objects, these are bamboo shoots. To get
here, destroy the rock with the drill, and find her is the bright bamboo.
(Katana 4)
2. When you get to the side area with the waterfall, you'll see a lone
floating eyeball. If you damage it, and it explodes, it will reveal
another Scarlett location.
(Katana 1)
3. Once you open the final door, turn around before the doors close.
Very easy to find, but very easy to miss.
(Combo 3)
Mission 8, being a flash back, doesn't have Scarlett.
Mission 9:
1. After using the mounted gun to snipe the enemy (or your own arm
cannon for faster and safer results, trust me.) She'll be in a box
below where the enemies where coming from.
(Survival 2)
2. Once you are on a timer, be on the look out for a room with boxes
in the middle in a line, destroy them then take two lefts. You should
hit a drill-able wall with Scarlett behind it.
(Target 4)
3. After the biker chick helps you out, Scarlett is in a box in a room
on the opposite side of that turn table/rotating bridge.
(Target 6)
4. Right before the boss of the level, she is under the stairs. You
really need to squeeze to fit in there. It's dark as well.
(Survival 3)
Mission 10:
1. In one of the first room with the circuits you need to shot, there
are beds. Close to the wall behind one is a not so hidden switch,
hitting it will pop out Scarlett.
(Weapon 1)
2. In the big long room with a TON of gun enemies, she is in a box
on the second level.
(Survival 4)
3. After the turret fight, instead of going through the huge door
you are suppose to go through, there is a ladder to the right.
Climb up it and she is in a box up top. It is on a container.
(Trick 4)
4. When you are up top, VS the lone Sniper, the last Scarlett is
in a box to the right.
(Target 7)
Mission 11 and 12 are empty.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Gigolo Begins (Bronze)
---Cleared 6 challenge missions.
Read below.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Gigolo Side Story (Bronze)
---Cleared 12 challenge missions.
Read below.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Gigolo Mastership (Silver)
---Cleared all challenge missions.
You need to clear all of the Scarlett missions to do this, so obviously it
requires you to unlock them all. Since you will be gunning for all AAA ranks
any ways, this should come naturally.
If you need tips, consult my AAA rank guide when it gets finished and
posted.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Office's Affairs (Bronze)
---Cleared 3 sub-missions.
Read below.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Office Workers (Bronze)
---Cleared 6 sub-missions.
Read below.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Assassins Never Say Die (Silver)
---Cleared all sub-missions.
You need to clear all the sub missions, none are really hard, and most are
very easy to unlock, via doing the overtime objectives. If you put the game
on easy and just focus on them, it shouldn't be hard.
If you need tips on how to beat these 10 mini missions, resort to my
AAA rank FAQ when it gets finished and posted, but trust me, these are
easier than the Scarlett missions.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~The Criminal is Dead (Bronze)
---Ranked AAA executioner on 12 missions.
Read Below.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~The Maniac is Dead (Silver)
---Ranked AAA executioner on 24 missions.
Read Below.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~The Mass Murderer is Dead (Gold)
---Ranked AAA executioner on 44 missions.
12 Standard missions
10 Sub missions
20 Scarlett missions
2 Date missions
44.
I have an FAQ made just for this purpose alone, so head on over to there for
a more in depth strategy.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Happiest Man on Earth (Silver)
Received 20 rewards from the beauties.
You get paid from a beauty when you have max moon crytals, at 9,999. So you'll
need to do 20 beauty missions have you have max. The good news is once you
get all the sub weapons, you don't need to touch the girl missions till you
have max crystals, in which you'll have enough time spent to get this thropy
and the steal their heart trophies.
This is why it is important to ALWAYS pick the yellow moon crystals when
you execute an enemy.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Killer at the Gate of Dawn (Bronze)
---Cleared all episodes on Normal Mode.
Beat the game. I like this game that it doesn't give you dick for completing
easy mode :D
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Obscured by the Moonlight (Silver)
---Cleared all episodes on Hard Mode.
Complete hard... hard I feel is the easiest difficulty, assuming you start
on normal, with all the upgrades, including the fast healing and heal
tickets (if needed) you breeze though this.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Darksider of the Moon (Silver)
---Cleared all episodes on Very Hard Mode.
One thing I don't like about this game, is you can't jump fresh to Very Hard
for a challenge, I don't mean to gloat, but I find this game kind of easy...
If you need pointers, you can refer to my AAA rank FAQ...
Or you can save up money for Ulti Mondo and that broken infinite blood arm,
this will make this difficulty a joke.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Perfect Job (Bronze)
---Cleared all missions.
If you are shooting for the all AAA trophy, you will get this along the way
no matter what.
Remember, this also requires you to find Scarlett.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Reliable Friends (Bronze)
---Got revived by Mika 20 times.
This is the last trophy I got, I had to boost it. I choose level 11 on Very
Hard, that laser crap kills fast if you stand still.
FUnny thing, Mika can actually fail the revive if you don't press the buttons
fast enough.
[][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][][]
~Gift Collector (Bronze)
---Gave a present 50 times or more.
If you don't get this over the course of the other girl trophies, make sure
you stock up on cheap gifts, like roses.
