Hello and welcome to my Killer is Dead AAA Rank FAQ.

Lets get right to it, you are most likely here because you need help getting
that Mass Murderer is Dead gold Trophy, so here is the table of contents, hope
this helps you become the best assassin you can!

Added the DLC missions... BUT THEY DO NOT COUNT FOR EITHER THE TROPHIES OR
THE LEADERBOARDS... so I'm not going to go all out with them as I some of the
other mission. Although the DLC isn't surpreme, it is only 1.99, and you get
7 new missions. (1 story, 2 sub, 1 gigolo, and 3 Scarlett.)

Lets sneak the history right in here.

Version 1: Original post

Version 2: Updated stats, make tables look better, and for the most part,
finished with this guide (I may update scores). As of submitting this guide,
I'm missing the AAA rank for Damsel (VH), Reckless Riding (N/H/VH), and Time
Cursed (VH), but the other ones I don't care for. I didn't even beat Damsel
on VH, and hit 6th worldwide :D

Version 3, I completed many non damage/gentleman runs, as well as AAA ranked
all of Reckless Riding, which means only two more AAA rank left, Damsel and
Cursed. I also need to track down the 5.1 mission and figure out you can
just guard while just guarding :D

Version 4, I still haven't touch damsel or cursed, and that will still be for
the final update, but I got the DLC. I didn't touch the wine find mission (and
in the final update, I'll have a map for it), and need to AAA rank the
mission 51 on Very Hard (though I all ready know how, it really depends on
luck using the easy way.)

~Requirements and Basics

To read this FAQ, please note it is mainly for tips and tricks. I do not hold
all the AAA ranks as of submitting this, but they ALL work for easy, normal,
and hard. Most of the strats are used for Very Hard, so if it seems I'm over
thinking something, this is why. If you think I'm not putting enough effort
into a strat, it is because the easy/normal version of the level may have
super relaxed lee-way in terms of how much you can screw up.

Some of the scores I have posted are intentionally low, and tried to keep
as many of my non AAA ranks to set up a bar.

I also, like an idiot, forgot to jot down the money scores it gave for the
time. A little tip, always go fast. This is the real reason I encourage
adrenaline rush and the charge cannon, otherwise you'll have 20+ minute levels
on Very Hard.

---For the Trophy, which difficulty is right for you?
First off, if your main goal is to snag the trophy, the important thing is to
choose ONE difficulty level, and stick with it, as it only counts if you
completely AAA rank an entire difficulty level. (If you AAA rank say, reckless
riding on normal, I suggest you try for normal. All AAA ranks are easy to
manage, but on Very Hard, you need to actually try most of the time.)

So do yourself a favor and put it on easy. This will conflict with the
majority of this FAQ, as it is written for tackling Very Hard as well. But
there is something you need to consider, there is a level, taking part in the
Japan background with the poison mist and the doll? Remember that level? Well
that level is super hard to even beat on very hard with the increased damage,
and even harder to AAA rank it! (Keep in mind, I have perfect damage bonuses
in all but mission 12's very hard, and I consider Time Cursed harder than
that.)

Now, the only thing with easy, you'll need to focus on NOT killing standard
enemies super fast (as normal kills will null cool kill bonuses explained
in the next sentance) so you'll need to make use of the rapid fire "jerk-off"
punches.

Normal is pretty balanced, but if you want to make killing times, you'll need
to not waste blood and still save it for "big" enemies, where as in hard, and
pretty much a requirement in Very Hard, if you expect an AAA, you'll need to
save blood and take out "big" enemies super fast, more on that later.

Now, the scores are not factored for lee-way in harder difficulties, so every
thing is roughly the same. So when you approach bigger enemies, you need to
find ways to shave off time. Likewise, damage, you don't lose more points on
harder settings from getting hit directly, you just lose more health, which
means indirectly, you can't get hit as much. Remember this, as getting hit
with one attack on Very Hard can be the same results as getting hit for over
a minute on easy!

---What am I getting graded on?
Now, I don't have exact numbers of what you need to AAA rank levels, but
they will map a very easy to follow guidiline.

Now you can go by how much money you need to make to hit the AAA rank,
but this isn't fool proof, as I have gotten AAA ranks using Ulti-Mando,
which shaves of a large % of your score off. However, I would avoid
using him as the next time you play the level with normal mondo, you'll
break the score, and it will be over wrote with a B, for example.

I'm not sure if the game will remember it or not, but if you are playing
on Easy just for the sake of getting this trophy and not challenging
yourself on Very Hard, you shouldn't need any super cheat outfits.

A general rule of thumb, if you scroll down in my guide, I AAA ranked
every Easy level. Every normal level by contrast, requires and gives
out DOUBLE the money and points.

From Easy to hard it requires triple, and from easy to very hard, it
is quad. (or double that of normal.)

------Speed/Overall Mission time
An assassin needs to be quick, and this game doesn't screw with that. This
game isn't suppose to be flashy, you are suppose to be effective. On easy, it
hardly is an issue, but when you bump up to hard/very hard, you'll rarely
be using your regural sword, if not just to build up some blood.

Not only do most enemies take a long time to kill, but you are given more
points if you do it "cooler". Most take blood however. But even tracking
down Scarlet will cost you time, so always make sure you don't waste it!

As far as I can tell, pausing the game is OK. Can't confirm cutscenes,
so just skip them.

------Execution Time
Same as above, but refers to the boss fight time. If you are missing a lot
of points in Very Hard, this can be a deal breaker, most notorious is the
mission with the giant at the end, in which you can shave off minutes of
time and gain hundreds of thousands of points if you know the cannon
trick. More on that in that section.

Again, the higher the difficulty, the more important it is not to
waste time.

------Overtime Pay
All missions, even the Scarlet ones have extra objects to complete. Some
are really stupid, and some are as hard as simply remembering to do them like
the "do 20 squats"... I'll always mention when, where, and how to get them.

Literally, the most common reason I fail these missions are because I just
forgot about them. Again, 20 squats. The good news is I'll tell you if
you even need to go for them.

------Damage
Simple enough, don't get hit, and this will be higher. On higher difficulties,
this bonus drains super fast... to the point where you can tell when you can
just go gung ho or not.

A little tip however, if you have to use that self heal ability, you are
taking too much damage. If you are good enough, you should never need it.
If you are on easy, and need it, you really need to revamp your playing
style and question if you can handle this game.

Is appears to me, that NO DAMAGE will allowed 2 Gems of damage on MOST
levels. This is why they put in the gentleman's payment.

------Cool Kills
Since most levels have limited enemies, you are going to want to kill
every enemy you can as cool as you can. However, every level has a
cap.

Basically a normal kill doesn't count.

Here is what does count:
Headshots (can be a counter)
Adrenaline Rush
Burst Rush (or dodge rush, the counter mash square attack)
Any kill after ~43 hits where you need to select a finisher.

I need to clarify something. There is a board member of GameFAQs.com
who said "Final Judgement" doesn't not count. Reang, you are wrong.

Final Judgement is the level "5" COMBO finisher, this assumine you have
the gekkou at max level. At basic level, you only need a level 3 to
finish an enemy via final judgement.

---Prep
Before trying for all the AAA ranks, there is absolutely no reason not to
have everything maxed out. Besides the heal and the Ice cannon, you'll
likely need everything. If you are picky, you should make sure you have the
triple dash for speed, all the sword upgrades, the reg and big cannon up
grades, and that shoulder toss/ground punch for crowd defense.

You'll also need all the Scarlet locations as well, as her missions do
count toward the trophy, so make sure you find her. I'll be posting a
trophy guide shortly after this if you need help finding her.

---When to use the Sword
Use the sword, obviously when you have no blood, but on higher settings,
it is very important to keep that combo up, because the amount of blood
gained once you start doing flips is crazy.

Besides those floating eyes before they start exploding, never try to
finish off a regular enemy with the sword, as it will void your cool
kill status, and if you are on hard or very hard, it will usually waste
time.

Again, being able to fly through levels is being able to get a good blood
sucking rythem going. If you are constantly getting pegged by even little
attacks, you'll have trouble on any difficulty.

---When to use the regular Arm Cannon
Besides when you obviously need to, I suggest using it for fast headshots.

Never aim for anything but the head on the regular enemy, and although you
can shoot super fast, you shouldn't need to spray that much, assuming you
have the slow down ability.

---When to use the Big Arm Cannon
When ever you see one of those giant club enemies or those gold plated guys
which you need to cut off their heads, just switch to this weapon. The ones
you need to behead may not even need a full charge, but I do it any ways.

On Very hard, you may need to Drill the golden giant club enemies first.

Also, this is a boss killer, usually this is what you are going to
spend your blood on during a boss fight. Most bosses only require a
double blue charge to get great results out of this weapon.

Keep in mind, you rarely need anything more than a double blue charge,
this will help a ton as before I started this guide, I was quad
charging everything.

---When to use the Drill
Other than in some mission where you need the drill for some secrets,
there will sometimes be huge wires, that have golden armor with red laser
shooting guns on them. The drill will break these off and allow you to
cripple them with the charge cannon.

Sadly, the one time this drill would really help, is during Chapter 11's boss
fight when she pops up that red shield... however it does jack shit to it.

Use the drill on big guys in mission 9 and 12, in the side mission bonsai,
the big guy doesn't need to be drilled... sort of the opposite in mission
10 where they are clearly weaker enemies, yet can't be charge cannon and
then adrenaline rushed.

---When to use the Ice Cannon
Never. The only enemy it remotely works OK on are those fast ninja, since your
adrenaline rush can miss them during a back flip. However, they are very few
and far between to worry too much about it.

It also works for bugs, if you want to freeze them in place during the
alice boss...

However, outside of that bug mission, you can adrenaline rush those
ninja without fail if you attack/punch them right before holding in
the "Time slowing execute button."

---To unlock sub missions, simply do overtime jobs in regular missions.
Since you'll be doing for AAA ranks any ways, this should come naturally.

---To unlock the Scarlett missions, you can look to my trophy FAQ.

---And lastly, don't try to cheat the system using any type of loading
trick, the game auto saves too much and I haven't found a way to cheat
the system. If you are playing a super long level and screw up, that's
just how the cookie crumbles.

I would like to point out two points to this.

I tried mission 9 with massive save and loads and restarts etc, it gave me
a 40 minute time and 0 damage.

Also, on mission 5, I choose the checkpoint instead of restarting the mission,
not only did it give me a lower score than my ~2.4mill, if overwrote it with
a B RANK! So let me tell you, only try to break your own record if you know
you can!

~Non Boss Enemies

---Regular Club Wire

I wouldn't waste an adrenaline rush on these, unless you are close to the end
of a level with an easy boss, or you get flustered too easy with many.

I prefer to use them for blood and combo building, usually cool kill a couple
with button presses, then easy headshot the rest to have time.

You really shouldn't have any trouble with these. Remember, if you aren't on
hard or above, you'll most likely either need to rotate the beatings equally
to other enemies, or use the weak rapid fire punches.

On all settings besides Very Hard, they are VERY easy to headshot.

These also come in a yellow flavor, which will have a anti-one-hit-kill
helmet.

They are both slow on the draw, and if you see them bring their clubs
back, you shouldn't have trouble... this is why it is important to
know the numbers you can work with.

If there are too many, off screen hits are common, but you can also
get hit during a counter punch!

---Regular Gun Wire

Always always try to kill these guys with a counter head shot, I'm almost
certain they count as cool kills (as the train mission I maxed out on them,
and that's all I really did).

The good news, if you get hit, they don't hurt that much, however, if you are
doing another move which requires you to take some time, they can get in
some free hits you can't avoid... and THAT'S when they start to hurt.

Again, counter head shot. Don't waste time trying to shot them back, just
wait till you see the laser sight on you, then dodge towards them once it
gets solid and they are firing.

I wouldn't worry too much about a high combo level until they are all dead.

If they are close to you, work on getting adrenaline rushes for these guys
if you are on anything above normal.

These guys also come in the yellow wire flavor.

If they are on the same ground as you, you can't always do the counter head
shot, in these areas, I would recommend either adrenaline rushes, or firing
back to get a headshot yourself WHILE YOU STRAFE! The part that is annoying
is they can get in a quick shot if you are sword slashing them without
making that telegraphed laser point.

---Bare Handed Wire

They have grab which will get you hit, and quick punches out of no where. The
most important thing to remember is, if there is one of these guys in the room,
it WILL be punching you, so ALWAYS dodge, even if it isn't punching, because
it will punch.

I wouldn't bother with headshots on these since they can quickly hit you,
but there is nothing wrong with wasting a burst rush on these very annoying
enemies.

The good news they rarely spawn by themselves, so there will always be an
enemy to which you can get blood back.

Any wire, including the Elite will revert to this form if they are disarmed.

Remember, if you attack them too much, they almost ALWAYS with come out
with a VERY FAST punch. It's best to only attack them AFTER they attack.

No matter which punch they start with (a single or a double upper), they
will almost ALWAYS do a triple combo (if they start with a double, they
finish with a one-two) unlike the standard clubs (which are 1 or 3
depending on the distance to you.) This means ALWAYS wait for the 3rd
attack to attack them.

---Shield Wire

They only have a one hit combo until they lose the shield. The good news is
they are VERY easy to just guard and can be blood mines once in mid air.

Once they lose the shield, they will revert to the standard version of
whatever color they were, but keep in mind, when they pull out a new
weapon, they are immune to adrenaline rush till they start moving.

These come in yellow and elite versions, and act the same. As long as
you rely on counter punches, then attacking them in air, they are more
of a blood source than a threat.

NEVER use a drill, enemies are less dangerous with the shield.

---Elite Club Wire

Not sure of the name, but they are the guys that are like the regular wires,
only with a ton more health, and super aggresive AI, along with a jump attack
move that often comes barely on screen. They also remind me of those EMP
things from the Matrix movies... forgot what they were called.

Even on normal, these brute have a ton of health, and I would urge you to
use a rush to save time, unless you need blood.

The jump attack can only be dodge countered, so I wouldn't recommend
pressing square to use this as they have a ton of health, just doing
the dodge without pressing square givese you a combo boost any ways.

They have a 1 or 3 hit combo too, which acts just like the reg wires,
visually, but it seems the window for it is shorter to block. They also
do a shit ton more damage, and if you are on hard or very hard, one
hit with usually make sure you aren't getting a damage bonus.

Please note, once they lose their mace, they act JUST like the bare handed
wire.

---Elite Sniper Wire

Unlike the other gun holding enemy above, I wouldn't rely on dodge
countering these guys, as they are SUPER strong. All except the one in the
lab mission with the rotating bridge (where you pretty much have to.)

Even if you get close to one, just because you are beating it up, does
not mean it won't get in a quick attack.

I personally adrenaline rush these guys any time I get the chance.

Keep in mind, even on EASY they do significant damage. On very hard,
if you get hit, it's almost 4 full gems!

---Anchor Wire

These are the tall skinny wires that like to block a lot. Blocking can ruin
your combo (and a strong punch can solve that by holding in the triangle
button.)

Even before I was going for AAA ranks, I didn't like these enemies, due
to the blocking, and almost ALWAYS adrenaline rush them asap.

I'm not even sure if you can headshot them, too stubborn to try. They also
have low low health, so they are useless as combo fodder and very hard
to get QTE finishers off on.

But since they block, and there attacks are super fast (you really need
to adjust your dodge timing to avoid damage), adrenal rush is safer,
faster, and usually cooler.

---Basic Samurai

This is the Asain version of the Anchor wire above, and pretty much behave
the same way. You can, on harder settings, get the hit counter to 43+ with
slashes and well timed strong punches, but this takes WAY TOO MUCH TIME.

The good news is the level you encounter these guys in, there are many
scarlet locations and blood giving enemies.

They will rarely attack if you are on the attack, they might get in
an attack right from the start, but just like the anchor enemies, they
not only attack faster than most enemies, but they have a VERY long
reach.

For dealing with them, remember to start holding in a strong punch
around the 4th hit of your combo, as they will usually block. Once
you do that, you can keep them in this loop.

If you want more blood before killing a single one, you can punch
them, but remember, if they aren't down or in the air all ready,
they might attack you if you do.

On Very Hard, you can get enough blood to adrenaline rush them
without having the boost punchs. On easy, you'll need to punch.

---Elite Samurai

The rarer type in mission 7, I don't believe you even need to kill them,
but it shouldn't matter, you should be adrenaline rushing these guys.

I think there are 2 in mission 7, one in bonsai, and one in a Scarlett
mission.

The Scarlett one you have to fight, so if you really want practice with
these enemies, do it there. Otherwise, adrenaline rush.

---Ninja

These guys are annoying, the good news, is that most levels they appear in,
they are mainly at the start, so if you screw up, you can restart.

They are super annoying since you can miss with your one hit kill
adrenaline rush if they are mid back flip, not only that, they can jump away
from you and waste serious time, while throwing Kunai... and since you
can't headshot them, there is little you can do.

I highly recommend you waste these pricks as fast as you can be any means.
Again, the hardest times you'll face these are at the begging of mission 7 and
the last level, so if you lack the blood from whiffing rushes and they waste
too much of your time, restart, I won't get mad at you.

These are literally the only enemy I will negate cool killing if I have to.

Punch/Slash combos work good, and a good time to hit them is when they are
coming down from a back flip. The important thing is to dodge to the sides
as they will always fling kunai at you.

If you get an dodge byrst rush on normal or easy, it is almost a sure
kill.

So remember, on hard and up, try to get in a counter punch, once they
are in the air, you can do some damage, but if you want blood to kill
them all cool, you'll need to punch them. If in the front, a punch
then a slash is good as I mentioned above, but if you want it fast,
you can punch them in the back for a higher combo.

You also need to cross your fingers they don't jump away.

If you need a surefire time to adrenaline rush them, do it directly
after an attack so you know they aren't in mid flip, OR if they
are running after you. You'll see this at the end of bonsai.

---Immortal Wire

Any of the enemies you need to "finish off" manually with an adrenaline
rush, be it in mission 3 when the first one appears or in mission 7 then
they become feudal, there is a simple answer.

Use the big cannon, a double blue charge, even on Very Hard, then rush them.
This will kill them in an instant, not only saving you a massive amount of
time, but will save you damage as well. Bigger enemies are actually
easier on Very Hard, as the minions will still be alive to adrenaline
rush.

If there is more than one, you can down them both if you line them up.

Make sure you ALWAYS prepare for these moments, and these are literally the
biggest game changers when it comes to mastering this game.

The difference between the two wires (the regs and the samurai) are the
the re-stun and stun time factors.

A double blue charge will stun them both. But to re-stun the regular,
you only need a single blue, while the ninja needs a double blue.

This is balanced as you can get in 10 attacks in safely before a
regular immortal recovers, while almost 15 for the ninja kind.

This is immortant to note if you plan to use them as blood sources.
In missions without Scarlett, or if you beef up a part and use
too much blood, you can get to full by constant hitting them while
they are stunned. You only really need to do this in mission 12,
as this takes a little bit of time.

The immortal wire ninja attacks just like a ninja, with less health than
any of them, the single blue stun rule applies.

The game refers to these as "Golden Enemies.'

---Big Red Demon

They remind me of Diablo from Diablo 2, they like to roll and block. Do your
self a favor and adrenaline rush them once they appear. They take way too much
time otherwise and if left alone, can be quite annoying. With the immortal
wire, make sure you always have to blood to deal with these guys ASAP.

The DLC mission has a less spiky and purple version of these enemies...
they still attack super fast, block an annoyingly often amount of time,
has the spin attack, and super fast/strong with the normal attacks. The
only difference is they seem to die much faster than the regular enemies,
the good news is just like the Red ones, you rarely need to fight these
toe to toe (expect in the start of the Wine grab mission and during
the boss of 51 if you fudge up my strats.)

The game refers to these as "Big Spiky Enemies."

---Giant Club Wires

These are the giants, though very easy to fight toe to toe, they fall victim
and just as fast as the immortal wires listed above.

The gold plated ones, seen late in the game, may need a drill attack first,
so make sure you "drill" before they are in range, it will interrupt them.

I say may, because sometimes a fully charged shot will down them, and some
times it doesn't, so I just always use a drill, no point in wasting 2
roses.

Otherwise, just like the immortals, one double blue charge shot will work
on all bigs except for ones with gold armor. I wouldn't try farming
blood of one that is on his knees, as they recover fast.

---Drone

The only real way to effectively kill them is to use the basic arm cannon.

Just make sure to avoid the lasers, not only does the shock lead up to
follow up attacks which will destroy your rank, there are a few overtime
pay quota's that are entirely dependant on you avoiding them.

---Suicide Drone

Not too many are in the game, if you remember the steps in mission 6, that's
what they are. As long as you remember where they are, using your regular gun
with that slow down upgrade with make these a joke.

On Very Hard, a charge cannon shot if faster and safer here.

---Bug

Use the regular arm cannon for these, they like to get in hits quickly. You
may actually be able to get in a sword attack safely if you use the ice
gun, in which it will stop them dead.

I personally never try to melee these enemies, even on easy.

---Bat

Only found in the DLC missions, they either block your path, or surround
things, like the boss and torchs in the coffin sub mission.

If they block your path, they act as doors, so you'll need to mop up the
rest of the enemies prior, all other can be destoryed with the charge
cannon, almost in one shot.

---Spiky Eye

The best enemy in the game, and if actually killed correctlly, it will pretty
much fill up your blood meter. However you need blood to make blood on higher
settings.

They are easy to avoid, they have a very long start up, but once you start
attacking them, they will shake and then explode. If you need a tip, as
long as you move, you can get hurt by them.

If they explode, you will take a lot of damage, they also wreck enemies close
by, so keep this in mind if you are lacking on cool kills.

So when they are about to explode, if you are on easy or normal, you can
usually just attack them to death before they pop. On hard and very hard,
you are going to want to use your regular arm cannon.

Not only does this attack very fast and strong once upgraded, it will slow
them down, giving you enough time to make the kill.

They are usually spawn from the next enemy on the list, and it is wise to
let them spawn enough to fill your blood.

Also using the charge cannon will either kill them out right with a
double blue charge, but on Very Hard, will get them shaking at half
health. I would still use the regular arm cannon to finish them off.

They can't be adrenaline rushed either, so make sure you actually aim
it, you'll notice this at the end of mission 4.

---Pain Elemental

I ripped this name directly from the Doom series, in which a floating monster
would produce skulls. Not only do they act the same, but both have a single
eye!

Any ways, they can actually spawn many enemies, not just the other floating
eyes, but usually they just do them.

They also teleport, but unlike the other eyes, they rarely are close to the
ground, so you'll no doubt be using your regular arm cannon and some blood.

I'm almost certain they put these enemies in some places to make sure you
don't have full blood, this is why on hard and very hard, where blood is
important, you'll want to ONLY kill them AFTER they spawn enough eyes for you
to get your blood back.

They wouldn't be so annoying, save the fact they have WAY TOO MUCH HEALTH!

On very hard, if you have ample blood, try using a double blue charge
shot to damage both eyes at once. This will save massive time on mission
12.

---A bunch of little enemies

Always attack them until your combo is high, then your blood will sky
rocket up super fast. Once it is up, you can use your adrenaline rush move
ONCE to kill an enemy, then attack 2-3 times, keeping your combo, filling
your meter back to full, and repeating.

Rememeber, you always want to have at least 8 roses.

Keep in mind, the more enemies you have on the screen, the more time you
will be wasting doing counters and such.

---A bunch of enemies, with a big one mixed it

You'll notice I prefer to use the cannon a lot, but when there are a lot of
little enemies around, you'll face the trouble of accidently killing them.

Just try to space them out, or better, adrenaline rush the weaker ones first,
bt remember to have at least 3-4 roses left for the big enemy.

---Wire Arms

In a few levels, you'll see wired arms flailing from the ground. You never
really need to kill these enemies. But since they can't move, you can shoot
them for safety.

In the DLC, they are gold in two places, and only act as barriers before they
explode once you defeat the enemies before them.

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: This mission plays almost the same
no matter which setting you choose to play on. Since you can't
be damaged and you don't need to damage anything, no adjustment is
needed. On Very Hard, it is free money. I wish I got 1/5 mil for
just walking down an alley.

---

Just to beat this mission, it's a walking tutorial, so it is actually
impossible to fail. It all lays in the overtime pay.

Time is hardly a factor, as once you know the trick, there really isn't a
giant margin of error... what I mean by that is, if you know what you are
doing, you shouldn't miss the triple AAA by time.

Since there is no boss, either, you can't take damage, you just can't
block a bullet.

So the first thing you need to do is hold in the directional button as you
cut the skipscene, trust me, I've seen people fail this objective as soon as
the mission starts.

Now here is the trick to the mission. The guy will always lift up his gun if
you touch the side of a building, it has literally nothing to do with
counting shots or him reloading.

If you touch the side, he'll put his gun up, and once you start walking
out, he'll usually run. Then at an angle, try to touch the opposite wall
before he turns around and returns fire.

This mission doesn't seem to change through difficulty levels, so if you are
using it to farm money, there is no reason to not do this on very hard.

BOSS---,-@

This really isn't a boss, just a reason for me to put this fancy graphic
in. You hold in a button, and let it go.

N: :52=$162,802 H: :57=$235,764 VH: 1:13=$269,222

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: Very hard can play a bit different as you
can't just instantly headshot any enemy you see like you can on easy,
normal, or hard. This isn't a giant problem as the enemies are very easy.

You basically have to cool kill all but one person for an AAA rank. You may
be able to take a hit on an easier difficulty, but this mission is just so
so short it really should be done flawlessly.

Since it is all basic enemies, if you are doing this on a replay, you
should have your regular arm cannon, so you can head shot every enemy you
want. If things are too close for comfort in the start for that, you
may opt for punching/qte kills/adrenal rushes.

I actually didn't do the secret bonus when I nailed my AAA rank, but you
should, so your first actions in the start room should be to rapid fire
punch for those rocket fists. Once you think you hit around
thirty, hit a few times with your sword for some blood. This combined
with the slow down mod should make head shooting the rest of the
enemies in the stage safe and easy.

For the punching overtime, try to avoid using counters, as the combo
meter will tell you when you are done. Getting two hits for one punch
can decrease time as well.

If you don't like the headshot method, you can easily get 7.2 roses
after you get your thirty hits, and then adrenaline rush everything
to death. This works for Very Hard better as headshots are finicky.

BOSS---,-'-@

If you use the head shot method, the only difference between difficulties
should be number of times you need to mash square against the boss. I
never tested it, but I'm not sure you could fail VS this boss. I have too
much pride to test it, if you do, you can email me.

I doubt you needed help with this mission, and if you did, you may need to
re check your shit at the door.

Update Easy:
AAA/534,678/3:19/:44/50,000/50,000/49,250/100,000
(Getting hit with one bug will still get you an AAA, but I wouldn't
risk getting hit twice.)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: Save for a longer boss fight, abusing
Scarlett makes this level play almost the same no matter the difficulty.
The only difference is that you should adrenaline rush the wires that
fall down. This may cause you to need to regain blood before the big
fight at the end. So make sure you break the objects in the doorway
to the garden. Also getting Scarlett a second time is overkill on anything
but Very Hard, but you can charge cannon destroy here faster if you
choose to break open all the hallways objects to find the nurse.

---

You can start by getting Scarlett up on the stairs as the first series of
fights are in the training room, and is still broken up and boring.

I say boring because as you fight 1 on 1, the other enemies will just sip
tea and watch, and usually will drop down as your combo expires. If this
wasn't the case, I wouldn't bother getting Scarlett at the start, but since
it does, you can headshot every enemy here. (This blood is to be saved
for the immortal wire in the garden.)

I wouldn't adrenaline rush them... that is way too much over kill for
them. (Except on Very Hard, where they dodge headshots too much.)

For the part with the flower garden inside the building, switch to your
charge cannon to make quick work of him. Don't even think or try anything
else, and from now and out, this is how you will deal with any and all
enemies like these as well as the large club holding enemies.

Got it? Double blue charge.

When you get to the goat room, solve the puzzle, then exit.

Now when you get back to the middle, there should be like 6 regular enemies,
combo them till you have 6.3 roses, then adrenaline rush them, you'll have
a hidden Scarlett ahead (use the arm cannon to find her faster)

BOSS---,-'-,-@

Now the boss, depending on the difficulty is a double edged
sword.

On easy, she dies much much faster, so naturally there is less risk to
being hit.

But on Very hard, since she takes long to kill, assuming you fight her
without getting hit, you should be at full blood pretty much the entire
first two parts of the fight, and most of the third.

The matter of blood is extra important VS her not only for the 1 blood
execution req, but since you'll want to get her off the walls ASAP to save
time and minimize damage to yourself.

Start the fight dashing right to toward her. Fight her toe to toe, now
since burst rush takes a lot of blood, it's actually better to do the
"shoulder toss" block, as it will lodge her arm in the ground.

If you don't get hit a single time, you'll have full blood. Now if you if
you ever see her go towards a wall, start up a charge shot. She will always
do this if at zero health and on two feet. Don't bother with the pee
shooter, one charged shot will put her down. Works on any difficulty.
(Fully charge it, the few times it's worth it to go 4 levels.)

When she falls, you can get in a few cheap shots to refill blood, but
remember time in a boss fight is worth more points!

The second phase is practically the same as the first. So just re read the
same thing I just said if your memory is as bad as mine.

Now for the last phase, She'll start by climbing, SHE WILL ALWAYS GET
A BUG ATTACK OFF. If you try to charge shot her off too quick, it will
whiff. When you hit her, quickly try to snipe the bug and attack her.
Being able to keep this chain up is the point of this phase.

Unless she is ready to be cut in half, if she is on her back, make sure she
is alone, those little bugs have a habit of ruining runs at the last second.

For the fastest kill possible, use mutliple charge cannon double blue
attacks. They are even more effective when she is down, if you have
spare blood and don't feel like swording it-- this also can make the R1
slash symbol appear faster. Nailed a Very Hard time of 2:23 which I could
of still did better, but generally you can get her down a health bar by the
first time she falls.

And final tip, there is hardly a resting period on the final phase,
so it's best to fight her with full blood from the second phase. If you find
yourself on Very Hard with no blood during this phase, you'll eat your time.
In other words, try to avoid using the regular arm cannon with no blood.

some super way to cut my time, you are going to need to really

faster on normal... Naturally the cut in time from my first go
at it and to my records is abusing the charge cannon VS
David. Just looking at my records for hard and very hard, you
can see that you REALLY need to make up points via damage
bonus to make up from that time.)

Easy Update:

AAA/2,286,178/9:04/2:41/405,332/200,000/400,000/200,000
(Getting a damage bonus of 400,XXX is about half a health
bar, so roughly 3-4 david attacks.)

Remember if you don't get hit and do the bonus objectives, you
only really need to get is 400,000 points, and that isn't hard
as decent times in any section with work.

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: Besides the boost the enemies get in
any level, the damage counter will still go down fast, but you can
make up for it by going faster... however, since on Very Hard, you
can't just blast through David, you need to work on taking as
little damage as you can during all but the final boss, so you might
be able to take a hit there.
---You may actually need to grab Scarlett behind the wall as the
blood gain on easy is bad with those basic wires. Assuming you
headshot them too.

I would play and get your just guards naturally. Try to have one blood
rose by the time you get to the crack in the wall, so you can unload on
the summoning eye and charge shot the immortal wire. Scarlett is behind
the crack, making these parts easy. The enemies before this area are
all standard. (I usually have full roses and opt not to crack out
Scarlett)

(If you suck at waiting for parrys for this overtime pay, just stand
infront of the two shield enemies, however on harder settings, this
might waste time since they will come naturally.)

After this, you'll encounter the Anchor wire, since they block too
much, I would always adrenaline rush them. Now between this area, and
the next try to get 5 spare blood roses. This is for the room with
the immortal wire.

Kill the immortal the same as killed the first one, and thankfully,
since this isn't the last level, you don't need to syphon blood
off any of them!

Before the final room, if you can squeeze some blood from one of the
eyeballs, you can ignore Scarlett. Do this by punching the first
one that spawns in the direction of the second one. The insta
kill will produce purple stuff from one of them.

Now in the final room, if you have 7 roses, just spam adrenaline
rush, and just watch were you aim it, the game likes to aim you at
those spiky eyes which you can't kill.

Now mop up the eyes, try to get full blood, so you can spam the charge
cannon and make the first part of this fight so super fast!

I can't stress this enough, on hard and very hard, GET FULL BLOOD BEFORE
THE BOSS FIGHT.

Boss---,-'-,-'-@

David is the first real boss in my opinion, and is the nub-hound of this game,
in which you better know your shit if you plan to beat him.

A few pointers.

If you see him you his purple energy waves, I choose to dodge through them,
this usually sets use a burst rush. This is a very good source of damage.

Now, on his second form, he will do his version of an adrenaline rush, which
in your view is a teleport downward slash, when you see him ready this, just
dodge by holding in circle. Don't try to time it at the right time, I found
that just doing all three dodges usually works. Basically if you have the
triple dash, if you start dashing AS SOON AS HE STANDS UP, you'll be fine.

Now the biggest threat of the battle is to avoid getting comboed, so never
go into attacking him first, since he has way more health than you (on very
hard at least) your best bet is the rely on burst rush counters.

Easier to notice on the 2nd phase (and the final phase of the final level),
when you do actually start rush'n, TAKE NOTICE OF HIS SWORD IN SLOW MOTION!
This is so you can dodge again! You can burst rush him 3-4 times in a row
if you pay attention, and if you get him in slow motion once, it is actually
easilier if you don't blindly mash the buttons. However, if you plan
on getting a hugh damage bonus, you'll want to dodge INTO him as he will
usually teleport behind you (assuming you dodge rush his SECOND sword
attack)

So just to recap, PLAY defense. Nothing is worse than getting hit by the
first string of his combo, and if you do, just keep trying to dodge away,
and sometime the game throws you a bone and lets you get away. One combo
of his can ruin a score.

When trying to minimize damage in Very Hard, I would recommend wasting
off your charge cannon asap and then rely on the dodge counter heavily.
Any time he does a purple wave attack is a very good and easy chance to
do this, as well as any other attacks. You only need to use double blues.

In the second phase, you may have 3 shots tops if you knew how to aim and
made each shot count, so to get blood back, you are going to have to
rely on quick coupled hit after dodge rushes... I find the ONLY safe attack
to attack after a dodge rush is that teleport downward stab.

Another tip for Very Hard (as getting to this part with full blood on any
other difficulty will have no fighting, just charge cannon), once you dodge
rush any non teleporting downward stab, DODGE IN THE DIRECTION HE IS ONCE YOU
ARE OUT OF THAT TRIPPY SCREEN, David likes to teleport behind you, so dodging
away will get you hit sometimes.

Also remember on Very Hard to attack David an extra 10 or so times as he is
down the first time, so you can get enough blood to use your charge cannon
again.

The damage bonus is insane in this level, and if you use full blood on the
boss, 100% of his first phase and 37.5% of his second phase will not only be
damaged very safely, but MUCH MUCH faster than if you dodge rush.

On Hard and under, you can kill David straight off if you use double blue
charge shoots. Make sure to pick up the blood or attack David slightly to
when he is down to give you enough blood.

The game screwed me on mission 5. I retried it, and
had a B rank. It over wrote it. I tried again this time
getting the full special bonus.

However I took a minute and 18 seconds longer, which ended
up putting my current score at 2,288,502 until I redo
this crap again. The ex $ was 481,578.

(I re-did all of the missions using the charge cannon destroy
method, and only really attacking once safe, so I spent a lot
of time running around. Each run was almost identical, but
still have no clue why I have botched shadow bonuses on
easy and very hard.)

Very Hard Update:
A/1,980,278/6:01/2:41/586,666/190,000/200,000
(Getting hit ONCE gave me a lesser shadow bonus. Either

(Ex points at 790,484, thinking 2 for 1'ing with the charge cannon
does something to your shadow payment.)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: You can leave the charge cannon at home
for most of easy and normal, using it only to finish off the level.
Since you'll be killing them faster, you'll see that quad attack less
and probably not have as much blood as in hard/very hard.
---You can get enough blood on Hard for killing off all the clones with
the charge cannon with one very good combo during the quad attack.

A very annoying mission to fail, since if you fail the AAA rank, you must
do the slow walk of the beginning all over again... I'm not going to go over
the start, so just remember it on your own... you can do that, right?

Boss---,-'-,-'-,-@

On Easy, her clones die so very quick, that it really shouldn't be an
issue, and her damage output is so poor that you can all most tank her
bullshit lasers.

Yes, bull shit.

Any ways, I have no clue on to what the overtime pay means, as you pretty
much have to kill many of her clones to damage her. What I do know is this:

If you attack a hollowed (non red) clone, it will put you in a 2nd person
view (seen through her eyes). Now on easy or normal, you can use your
weak gun to easily kill her, however, on hard and very hard, it will take
awhile, you should use the charge cannon.

But if you are on Hard or above, I WOULD NEVER LET THIS HAPPEN! Never hit
a hollowed clone, this way you don't have to worry. You want to save your
charge shots for when you want to use them! (but at least two for if
this happens.)

The best way to avoid that is to never let it happen, but if it does, pull
out the cannon. The lower the difficulty, the lower the chances, as the
you'll be killing the bitches faster.

(If you have no blood, you can block her 2nd person shots, and attack
usually twice, however on very hard, this takes forever)

However, since you can't really dodge/juke her (literally, she's the one
who jukes you if you try dodging) it's hard to get a combo going, thus its
hard to get blood, this is why it is super important not to waste time with
that 2nd person view crap. Now, you don't have to shoot while in 2nd person,
but odds are, you'll take damage.

Any ways, when actually trying to kill her, never try to dodge the lasers,
simply, run behind the lasers, and always keep a look out for the direction
of the way she is facing. If they aren't facing you, they can't hit
you.

If you can focus on one, and with some luck, keep killing them before they
turn hollow, you should be smooth. But like I said, on easy you can fool
around, take hits, and use the pee shooter. On Very Hard, you'll need at
least one good combo or a flawless run with some generous 2 for 1 shots
with that charge cannon.

As you can see, this mission is pretty much DON'T GET DAMAGED, my initial B
rank on Very Hard was just from that...

The best time to get blood, is when she does that quad attack, since she
can't dodge. If you attack + dodge towards her (by clawing the controller)
you'll have an easier time with this.

You can take a half gem of damage and still get max damage reward. If you
take three, it puts you at that A rank I had before. To ensure an AAA rank
on Very Hard, you'll want to run around and only attack when you can get
free hits.

Spam the battle ground for them charged lasers, which is perfect, and
during the quad attack. If you can get them to link this crap together,
you'll have full blood, and you can charge cannon destroy the rest
of them.

Remember, the BEST way to attack her is in the back, where you won't get
slown down from slashing or dodging towards her, where as in the front,
you'll go super slow if you even try to circle dodge her.

It's best to just run around and when you attack a stationary clone,
pam the camera around to see if other lasers are coming at you. Turning
up the volume is a good idea.

Also try not to dodge to her when she is doing a laser, as she is skinny,
you can accidently dodge into the laser.

(The Special Bonus might apply to killing the shadows with the sword, as
sometime with the charge cannon, you'll damage her, but not actually kill
her. Either way, I know it has nothing to do with the 2nd person fights.)

(I can obiously update the score for normal, and I'll
explain how and why I called bullshit on that A in the
boss battle below.)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments:
Hardly any, if you played the right way, you RARELY need to even use your
sword on any target than you need to even worry about, in fact, all but a
single but to you even need to use blocks. The only factor is the boss, and
it's only because of the bloody gain, and the crazy defense he has.

If you are on hard/very hard, I WOULD STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT TAKING A
SINGLE HIT DURING THE MISSION, even the chip damage from the spawner
eyes, as the boss will do enough of his own.

Start the mission by shooting the barrels in front of you, collecting the
purple stuff. Then kill the first eyeball you come across. ONLY KILL HIM,
then make a dash to Unicorn. You do not need to kill any of the other
enemies, as it just wastes time. To find your way, just remember to turn
right when you see the solo barrel at a dead end.

Now you'll be inside, don't waste time, and adrenaline rush the 3 purple
spiky's the second you can (you need to wait a tad so they can be targeted).

Before the next 3 come down, destroy the barrels in the east room (from
the door you entered) for a purple stuff. Then adrenaline rush the next
three.

Once they are dead, you should find Scarlett. Talk to that sexy monster. If
any level can be destroyed by her blood granting abilities, it is this one.

There will be another spike in the hallway, adrenaline rush him.

In the chapel room, there are six more spikes, which, you guessed it,
should be instantly adrenaline rushed... but beware on hard/very hard,
that if there is a spike behind a spike, they CAN AND WILL hit you
after you kill one of there friends, so only attack them if they are
spaced out.

Deal with the eyeballs however you please, you don't need to worry
about getting blood here, so don't be afraid to punch them into
the master eyes.

After this you will be underground. On my next update, I'll post a map
to the exit, but the best tip is to just light the torches and then
remember to never recross them. There is annoying purple teleporters,
which once you see one, you'll know to pull away from them in the
FUture.

Once you get to the end, you'll be at a part with reduced health eyeballs,
kill them, full blood is still optional, but it helps if you have full.

Now once you climb the rope, you'll be outside, this is the only part you'll
need to use blocking/countering during the mission, if you had full blood,
I like to adrenaline rush all but two. MAKE SURE YOU FINISH THIS PART WITH
AT LEAST 8 ROSES! (There is purple stuff in the barrels at the start to the
right and along the wall to the left where the exit is.)

After this, you'll be back below ground.

Once you are down here, there will be six more spiky enemies to kill, and
take a wild guess how I want you to kill them... yup... that's right,
adrenaline rush them! Before moving on, there is a solo standing barrel with
much needed purple stuff in it, MAKE SURE YOU GRAB IT!

Then next area has four spiky enemies... and it is VERY IMPORTANT not to
accidently adrenaline rush an eyeball, because you'll have just enough
to kill them all. Once they are dead, take out the big eye ASAP, and
DO NOT WORRY ABOUT BLOOD! (So getting blood from a smaller one, then
charge cannoning the master eye will be good).

After you get rid of the bats, make sure you talk to Scarlett right before
the spiral stairs.

If you get Scarlett, you'll have enough blood to adrenal rush the rest of
the enemies in the level. If not, there is a purple stuff at the start of
this part. (Be sure that if you are on hard/very hard, that the first
set of shield enemies and the elite don't hit you, so don't instantly
adrenal rush them, make sure they attack and miss first.)

Now when you are told to go outside, (The chick from lollipop chainsaw is
out here somewhere, though I never seen her myself, only on YouTubes), make
sure to grab Scarlett for the last time so you start the boss fight with
full blood.

You need to go outside so Vivi can tell Bryan where you are, and kill the
bats. The bats do nothing unless you are dumb enough to touch them... like
I did :D

Boss---,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-@
---------,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-@

LOL, did you figure out the thorns equal the mission number yet?

(In my next update, I'll confirm if the spiky's will be summoned if you
deduce your blood to zero while using the charge cannon.)

Ok, so a few things before you decide which strat you'll be using:

+In his neutral flying stance, YOU CAN NOT ATTACK HIM WITH YOUR SWORD

+Two spiky enemies will spawn if you have NO BLOOD (this is because on Very
Hard, if you loss all your blood, you can't get enough back to adrenaline
rush him to death.) AVOID THIS on all but Very Hard's pro strat (which I'm
not covering... if you are a pro, so don't need me.)

+Any enemies killed during this fight drops three roses worth of blood.

He has two attacks, one where he flings a bat at you (only one, so don't be
confused when you see purple aura right after it, this is a trick), and his
flying attack.

Now, let me explain why this boss fight was bullshit... if you try to
beat him without letting his buddy's spawn, you need to save blood (which
means you can't attack him with your regular gun). I needed ONE FUCKING COMBO
on him, yet he did he bat toss shit FOR 4 MINUTES STRAIGHT TILL I said screw
it, and ended up BLOCKING a spiker... which will INSTANTLY reduce your beast
payment by 5/8's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So more tips, in no order...

+The reason I told you not to get hit during the mission is becuase after his
charge, you'll most likely want to attack him. You'll want to hit him as
much as possible, more so if you have any combo up. If it's a difference
between you getting full blood and getting hit by a bat, or neither, take
the bat to the face.

+You can take roughly 3-4 bats and still get a perfect damage rating (like
I did, yet still got a 156K beast score...)

+If you aren't relying on luck, and want to keep a combo up, make sure you
stop using charge shots at around 4-5 roses, and then use the regular
gun as your combo is about to expire.

+To dodge his charge, start a double dodge AS HE IS COMING FOR YOU, if
you start as he turns purple, he will catch you. If he catchs you, it
does NO DAMAGE, but it drains a little bit of blood... which for the
duration of that phase, he will randomaly explode when you attack him and
start using a faster dash move.

+This faster dash move can be dodge burst rushed, so if you think the
random explosions aren't deadly, go for it (on explosion on Very Hard
does around 1/3 of your life)

+If you are attacking him and he is at low life, him falling down is enough
to damage and ruin your combo... DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN.

+When he falls, get a few hits in, A FEW HITS, nothing on the level of what
you can squeeze in VS anyother boss or immortal enemy. And once you do
adrenaline rush him, make sure to keep attacking him for more combos, damage,
and BLOOD!

+Make sure you have your volume up, as when he laughs, he will ready his
charge move, and just like is he bites you, the purple stuff will do
a large amount of damage... so if he laughs, DO NOT ATTACK HIM UP CLOSE,
this is to bait you in. If he won't charge, and just laughs, make sure
you move near/far, as sometimes you need to bait him.

Ok, so here is the game plan, start by shooting him with the charge cannon,
trying to hit the minions as well to save blood. Now remember, do not drain
all your blood, and pick a method of killing him.

1. You can safely just wait till he does his dash, and attack, the problem
is that on very hard, you'll need to do this twice just to get in a double
blue.

2. Always save half your blood and keep a combo up. The problem with this, is
that if you get hit, or lose your combo, you'll waste massive time.

3. Let the enemies get summoned, and fight them. This would be ideal if they
came when you had blood. (Again, I'm going to check if they spawn if you
drain on your blood due to the charge cannon, so you can effective kill
one off, adrenaline rush the other, and make some blood).

He is a VERY easy boss, don't get me wrong, but that easy way I listed, took
me about 14 minutes to beat, so you really need to get lucky. There as been
times he charged twice in a row, and then times he took more than a couple
minutes just flinging bats... and trust me, no matter how good or bad you are
at the game, it is beyond boring if you do it this method.

The difference in time if you can manage blood can be seen looking at my
normal VS hard time, in which in hard, I had a crazy combo, and nearly
full blood the entire time, I got so lucky that I didn't even use the
regular gun to keep my combo up, I used the charge cannon.

I would be more mad at this fight, but the mission is so easy to beat.

(A damage bonus on Very Hard of 550,000, got hit
3 very minor times, all bullets. The damage bonus in
this mission seems like it dwindles faster in this
stage. But speed is an easier way to AAA rank as you
can see by those double million time scores, you
can completly ignore damage.)

Very Hard Update:
AAA/3,050,096/18:18/3:00/249,000/500,000/400,000/200,000
(I shaved off 30 seconds on the boss and took a smaller amount of
damage.)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments:
The headshot bonus is MUCH easier to do on non very hard, as all the
enemies without helms just stand there and take it. Seriously, you
do not need to manage blood at all, the final area is so easy to
syphon. However, on hard and very hard, they start to dodge headshots,
you need some for adrenaline rushing.

This mission is easier than it looks. Start the mission by head shooting
every enemy you see in the head. This will bring your total to 6. On
very hard they will dodge a bit, this is ok.

The next area has an elite wire, shoot him in the head too.

The next three wires, fill your blood meter. Two more elite wires will
be in a large room, adrenaline rush them. (I usually make this a 1v2
fight on Very hard, as constant guard counters can waste time.)

Now before entering this large room, do the catwalk puzzle. Good, now
adrenaline rush the 3 wires behind you, and while trying to shoot
out the drone, counter snipe the 4 gunners. This will bring your
head shot count to 11. *Remember to actually aim the adrenaline
rush here*

Each of the melee enemies drop blood, you need a little over 8 for
the next part.

The part with the biker chick, ignore her and adrenaline rush everything
to death ASAP, the faster you do, the faster she goes. Talk to Scarlett
in the back.

Kill the immortal wire with the charge cannon, then continue on the
next part of the level. If you use a double blue shot, you really
shouldn't have to worry about the drones.

Next area...

Be prepared to attack the two drones!

When there are snipers, counter snipe them, and shoot the two purple
head wires in the head, giving you your 15.

Since there are TWO Scarllet locations before your next set of
enemies, don't worry about blood here, so adrenaline rush the
shield enemies.

Remember on the second floor elvator, to speed it up, just rotate
the device 3 times.

On your way to the first big guy, you should find more enemies you
can dispose of easily with the full blood you should either have
by sucking it, or getting it from Scarlett, either way, when you
kill the big guy, make sure you get full blood from all the little
guys you are comboing.

I don't know the required amount of kills needed to be considered
"cool", but if you adrenaline rush all those enemies Vivi trying
to kill steal on you, you *can* get away with just running around
like a pussy till the vator comes up.

Not me, I adrenaline rush at full blood, but hey, your call.
Just make sure you have at least 3 blood.

BOSS---,-'-,-'-,-'-@

A very easy boss no matter what the difficulty and no matter what
your starting blood level is.

His attacks in his first two phases are pretty standard and easy to avoid in
my opinion. The biggest killer is to know when to stop getting greedy with
hits and get away before he does that spin attack.

His swipes are easy to dodge. If he blocks, you'll need a charged punch to
stun him to complete your combo, make sure to do this to keep the heat on
and get a good time.

Always try for a good combo to keep that blood high, more on that later.

When he does his spit, I like to hit with a charged cannon shot, the move
doesn't track, and it's start up and recovery time is just horrible. His
cling to the roof like a monkey move, then jump on you thing, however, does.

This is a tough move to avoid (I should see if you could block it, but since
it's not near impossible to avoid like the mission 7 monk's leap, I'll let
one of you guys tackle that.)

Also, remember, don't try to dodge rush his "wall grabs" like I usually do
for flair, as if you are on hard or very hard, it will just waste time and
blood, as it will do no damage, and just waste blood since you need to just
cut his arms off to advance to the next phase.

The first two forms are generally the same, the second form, he seems more
aggressive, and does that ram a lot more, in which you should start your
dodges when he is about to hit you since he will track you.

Now hopefully you have a lot of blood for the third part. You'll want to
charge the cannon when you are behind the speakers, and use the sword
when you aren't. Don't use the pee shooter if you have juice for the big
gun, since you'll be charging it in time when you wouldn't be doing
anything any ways. Naturally don't use all your blood, save a rose.

***For Very Hard, you can make him a joke, one double blue charge shot will
not only do a large amount of damage to him, but it will usually drop him to
the ground and let you do more free damage to him, not only make the fight
very fast, but practically letting you never run out of blood. Even if you
can't get him in the pattern, he is combo-able enough to where he shouldn't take
long to kill if you spam double blue shots***

Very Hard Update:
AAA/3,458,014/14:23/3:52/584,000/500,000/400,000/200,000
(If you are going to AAA rank this level, you are either going
to need to shave off a lot of time, or take very little damage.
Just to set the mood: 894,428/879,566 for $time and $ex time and
I got hit with a few kunai at the beginning, and twice by boss's
sword.)

The start, and through out, you'll want to ultilize the dodge +
dodge cancel ability (just aim while you do that flip thing at
the end of the third dodge).

Kill the first three ninja the fastest you can. The dodge rush is
a good choice, or adrenaline if you can manage blood off them.
Pray they don't just hide and throw crap at you. Best time to
adrenaline rush them is right after you land an attack and they get
hit with both feet on the ground.

Once they are dead, you'll have a samurai. Don't waste time, so attack
and then break it's gaurd the second it blocks. I like to get my
combo up and get my blood to about 3 here, so I can adrenaline rush
him, then the next ninja that come out to the waterfall area.

After your fourth attack, you should be tuned to holding in triangle
for a guard break.

Ok once they are dead, dash to the waterfall area, you'll want to
find Scarlett in the waterfall. Shoot the eyeball (if you didn't
adrenaline rush those ninja, they should attack you here.)

Before you start your duels, please note you only need a
double blue charge shot to "down" the target enemies.

After talking to S, enter the area for your first scroll fight.
Charge cannon the main dude, then take out the generator eye.
Remember to get blood from the spikey eyes. If there are two eyes
made, an exploding eye will kill a full health eye and leave
treats! Time is saved here if the target AND the generator eye
both get hit.

Now I like to go all the way to the scroll where the 2 big guys
are there, only because if you screw this up, it can mean the game.
You can charge cannon ALL THREE DOWN! Then adrenaline rush them
all in a row. Do this.

Now do the hut area. After you drill the hole, if you have any
blood left over, pump it into the pain elemental eyeball, then
talk to scarlett. Since you'll be at full blood, make sure you
adrenaline rush the samurai with the enemy you are going to
charge cannon. Make sure you use the eyeballs for replacement
energy.

The fourth scroll is the one on the island. Now before I
was using a quad white charge with the cannon for this guy,
but figuring out that they only need a double blue makes
this part easy. Again, adrenal rush the fodder ninja as
well.

Now, hopefully you were at full blood before you did that,
so the next scroll goes smooth.

The final scroll (or first, or whatever, the order is really
up to you, I just wouldn't put the big guys off till last) is
the one under the bridge. By this point the stage, you know the
drill. Remember if this is your last, adrenaline rush anything
in your path.

I also usually kill two of the elite samurai that are wandering
around.

Rush to the boss door, and don't forget Scarlett is right there,
so turn around before you walk too far into the path.

*At any time your blood is below 2 and you know all the eyes and
Scarlett are gone, I would suggest boosting blood from a stunned
ninja like I did in the final mission*

BOSS---,-'-,-'-,-'-,-@

This is one of my favorite bosses to fight, since most of my friends
absolutely suck at him.

The bike Vs tiger part is easier if you do the sub mission prior to this.
On Easy, you can literally just damage race this part like a man. Or
like a bitch on Very hard, and just block and force him into hazards.

But the best way is to "claw" block the entire time, everytime he hits
you, you hit him back, and just remember to avoid the hazards. If you
are crafty, you can gain a lot of blood back here for the next
part if you combo him up on the bike.

There are also two cars on the right side that come up, but this is
very minor. They appear on the third trip through town. If you see
these, even on Very Hard, you should be killing him faster.

Ok, you are off the bike...

Now for the first phase, it doesn't really matter if you have any real
strat for this boss fight, because sooner or later he will get bored with
you and start jumping in the air. When he jumps in the air...

DO NOT DODGE, BLOCK.

BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then prepare to mash square, this will likely kill your time score,
but it will help your damage bonus for sure. Considering this boss
blocks all the time, AND counter attacks SUPER fast with long range,
this is a very safe alternative.

When you aren't waiting for if to jump, do a double blue charge
shot, not that it does the greatest damage, but it makes him
flinch... if you get in close, he'll counter attack, then if you
get in close attack, he'll usually block. (He sometimes block
even if you just bait him to attack.)

The best way to speed this up is to attack him till he blocks...
around 75% of the time he does block, you can guard smash him and
make him lose balance for fast attacks.

Basically if you attack him after you break his block (by holding in
triangle) and he starts to flich, hit him ONE TIME, if he doesn't
flich, start dodging away.

If you can keep a combo use during this guard break and charge shot
times, you can have full blood very quick, if so, once he starts jumping,
put three double blue charge shots in him each time to speed it up.

The longer you wait to hit him after a gaurd break, if it was done with
a bait, IE no attacking, and sometimes a random factor depends on if
he flinches and takes it.

Also try to hit him from the front, attacking him from the back after
most of his attacks cause a super fast counter attack.

The second phase, I find more enjoyable. He doesn't block any more, though
he does attack, his recover time is longer, do this...

+Attack a little
+Dodge before you think an attack is coming

If you can get that down, you'll have a 200+ combo on very hard.

Turning your volume up is a good idea, this part gets hard to see when you
are flipping around. I would only use the charge cannon's double blue if he
is almost dead, it doesn't kill quick.

Remember, if you are trying to make him flinch longer, hit him more and faster
after he attacks.

I blew my very hard AAA rank on the attack from this phase. His pounce
attack is literally strong enough to break the rank entirely.

When going for my no damage run, I wasted around an extra minute using the
charge cannon over the good old sword for this part. Keep that in mind since
no damage is worth WAY more than a minute can get you.

(My replay was all about speed, I like seeing people asking for
help for the Very Hard AAA, this is an easy level and makes it seem
like they just spam Ulti-Mondo all day long... yup, you don't get
any gifts for this mission.)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: The harder the setting you put it on, the
less hits you can take, so pretty much if you place it on Very Hard,
you can't be touched once. On Easy, you shouldn't be touched any ways.
On hard you can.
---On Easy, you don't even have to stop attacking single enemies along
the narrow paths. They get stunned too fast, have low health, and don't
realy attack that often.

There is no fancy tricks you can use to help you with this mission.

The good news is since you have nothing at your finger tips, you don't need
to worry about cool kills.

This is a good time to use the lift attack, especially on the narrow sections
as the wires behind the ones close to you might attack you, but might be out
of shoulder toss range, which will result in a hit.

All the enemies are the same, there are no surprises, just beware of the
change of camera where the tree is, this might trip you up.

Also, the higher your game's setting, the more ready you need to
shoulder toss right when you start attacking an enemy. On easy and
normal I find it harder, as they get stunned and magically pop out
an attack.

So basically if you aren't a fraud and can play this friggen game with
out cheese, this should be an VERY easy mission. In fact, all but my
first try on Very Hard, have all been AAA ranks.

If you are trying to go faster, in open areas, try to either get
two or more in a counter punch, or a few dizzy so you aren't
constantly counter punching. Also, since most time I get during
counter punching, you don't always need to do it. Use it on
the first enemy for the combo boost, but not in the middle of
a group or if the enemy is below 40ish% health.

(If you finsih under 4:20, you can afford one hit, it will put you
at a bonus of 145,000... my best time on this mission was 4:10 but
I got hit. You may need to kill the boss in under 19 seconds too.)

BOSS---,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-@

The only way to prepare for this boss is to learn how to use the
adrenaline rush move. Your over time pay depends on not screwing up.

You need to aim for David, and only David, tip, he's the only one with
Skin, a crown, and a green robe.

I never messed this up, you shouldn't either. Email me if you did and tell
me what happens.

Difficulty doesn't matter here, you need to always hit him 5 times. The time
bonus is actually worth a lot per second, so to save time, you need to get
lucky and have David spawn in the middle to left.

(Time for the boss is the same for any difficulty.)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: Most of this level really plays out
the same (minus aggressive AI) no matter what setting you have it
on as most of the enemies you will kill will one hit, and the final
boss is literally the same if you use the charge cannon.
---Watch you don't kill off too many reg wires, the elevator needs to
be blood managed.

Starting off, kill the first two gunners with counter head shots, then
try to get blood from the foot soldiers, finish them with quick
head shots. You only need enough blood to adrenaline rush the next
two ninja. (The starting wires drop like 3 roses a pop so cool kill
them however you want.)

Once this is done, snipe the guy on the turret in the head,
then the guy across the way, shoot the fuel tanks and the box
containing Scarlett. Talk to that ho. Get blood. Win.
(If you have low blood, then use the turret, but remember, that
isn't considered cool)

Lure the next two ground guys behind cover, adrenaline rush the
standard guy and the yellow guy, counter snipe the elite wire.

There should be 3 more ninja, adrenaline rush them, and charge
cannon the guy who comes out of the elevator. If you want, you
can syphon blood off this guy.

Up the elevator, the next series is all about keeping the combo up
for full blood against regular enemies, and letting out an adrenaline
burst when you are full. Naturally waste the red beasts asap, and use
the charge cannon for the immortal wire.

If you had full blood from the fight before this (1 elite and 2
standard wires), this middle section can and should all be
adrenaline rushed.

Leaving here with little blood is ok, but make sure you have
some since you'll be facing an eyeball floater.

Charge cannon the big guy, adrenaline rush the red beast, then
counter snipe the gunners. You need to kill the big guy before
any other enemy stops spawning.

There is purple stuff in the room where you first meet the red beasts
and the room with the big wire.

Now the elevator part, only here and now if I take one hit, I
don't hit restart in pain.

In this small elevator, MAKE SURE YOU EXIT WITH FULL BLOOD! it isn't
hard, but A VERY GOOD IDEA.

You'll need to charge cannon kill an immortal wire at the end of this
elevator ride, then counter snipe an elite wire. The full blood is
important because you'll need 6.3 roses to kill off the 6 more
elite wire snipers that appear. This will boost cool kills and make
the biker chick not even come in.

Scarlett is in a box in a room. "Collect" her.

The 3 shield enemies can just be adrenaline rushed.

For the next part, take care to snipe the skyplanes ASAP, they stun you
once, your bonus is over. With these next four enemies, try to get your
blood to like 7-8.

Finish them with adrenal rushes.

Now you'll see a red beast, ignore him and quickly attack the skyplane
from the window, then adrenaline rush the red bastard.

After him, you'll be in the chamber with big head, after his first eye
laser attack, dash to the left, kill the flyer here. Then go right,
to left, and then out. You should stop only twice.

The last room requires a drill + charge cannon + adrenaline rush to
kill a big enemy. Make sure you grab Scarlett in this last area before
moving on to the boss.

There is blood in this final room's corner if you need it for this
fight.

BOSS---,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-@

With full blood from Scarlett, I'm going to tell you how to make this boss
fight so easy even on very hard, to where you can literally shave off five
minutes. See most people just use the regular cannon, and rely on lucky
blocks and turn him around for lucky back shoots and blood refills and crap.

However, you don't need that if you use the charge cannon. See the trick
with the charge cannon is that at ANY charge level, you can destroy ANY
weak point in a SINGLE shot and ANY difficulty.

So if are good at 3rd person shooters in general, this will be easy, since
the faster you can aim, the less energy you'll use, the more cores you can
destroy instantly. So with that being said, I would always aim for the chest
first, not only is it the biggest, but it takes the most regular cannon
shots too, then the eyes, then the chin orb.

For the actual battle, it is broken up into 3 parts.

The first two parts are roughly the same, with the second part being actually
easier since more enemies join in (since they usually drop blood, this
is a good thing). The second stage also has a lot of free blood.

Just know his attacks. If you see his arms move, just continually dodge
in the opposite direction, and you'll usually get a "shoulder toss", if he
happens to turn around, and you have ample roses (especailly on very hard
where it is very hard to kill a row of orbs, don't even bother attacking
him then to save blood).

If he uses eye lasers, dodging to the side or the front will usually work
while pegging him in the eyes soon afterwards with the cannon for an easy
hit is ideal. (If they are vert, go to the side, the background if he
sweeps.)

His debris toss, however, is a very annoying move, I like to stand on
one end, then dodge to the other once it's tossed. If you are in the
middle once he tosses it, you can be in trouble. The other annoying
part about this attack is that once he telegraphs the attack, he looks
around pretty fast, and make a charge shot miss. Least a blood holding
wire will spawn during this, don't get carried away attacking it!

The final part I find very easy. He has a new attack where he'll put his
hand on the building and do an eye laser. Completely ignore the eye laser
and just focus on dashing towards the hand. Though it does no damage to him,
it will stop the laser from hitting you, and grant you A LOT OF BLOOD, more
than enough to kill off a weak spot.

If you are on very hard, use this charge cannon strat, you'll get an
extremely high boss time, and as long as you don't get hit by him at all
(this includes during the stage as well) and those laser drones, you should
get an AAA rank. However if you can't utilize the charge cannon, I don't think
the AAA rank is possible unless you don't take a single hit the entire mission.

The money for the boss was 1,096,330.

For a 100% chance at 2:00-2:15 in this boss time, break a core after any
attack. As long as you aren't in the middle as he tosses debris or at
a far corner when he punchs, you should be ok.

On the second building, there are lots of structures that have blood in
them. Also, you should always get in 7 hits on the downed Giant head
for extra blood.

AAA/2,564,928/17:28/5:44/206,332/700,000/400,000/200,000
(This is taking hardly any real hits during the mission,
one attack from an eye, and two from the Tom's head slam.)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: You really don't need to care as much
about speed, you can usually just spare the bullets and not really
try. I would still get the first two Scarletts, skip her last two.

As you can see from my update, I shaved off nearly eight minutes, yet
only made a marginally better score with just 51,000 damage points. If
you want the very hard AAA, you can't take a lot of damage. The hard
part is the chip damage the level just naturally gives you.

Start by dashing forward and getting 7 seven roses. If you get hit here
you may as well restart. Once you get 7, you can adrenaline rush everyone
here. (I headshot snipe the two gun holding wires here)

In the next room, shoot the panels, then hit the switch and reveal
Scarlett. Talk to her, and use a charge shot to destroy the boxes in
the middile of the next room. Don't worry, they all drop purple stuff.

Adrenaline rush the eight enemies on the ground, and then the two up
top. You will need to hit someone a few times in between to fill up as
you can only really do nine with a full bar. Don't worry, there is a
Scarlett in this room. Talk to her.

When the boxes fly at you, I hide in the back right corner and block.

Now the turret part. Three big beasts will come out, wait till Bryan
spawns, then Adrenaline rush them, this is important for your cool kill
bonus.

Then do the turret part as quickly as you can. For the third part where
you are by yourself and have to balance attacking guns and four red
beasts, try your hardest to leave one alive while you attack the turrets.

As you kill the last gun, two giant enemies, who cannot be drill+charge
cannon stunned will appear, so best adrenaline rush the remaining beasts
here, then rush back to the turret. Now, you will most likely NOT BE
able to kill them in the time it takes them to reach you, this is ok,
in this time, run to grab Scarlett on the top of the containers to the right.
You'll need to use the ladder. (By the time you get down, the turret is
clear of big wires)

(If you don't cool kill the red beasts, you'll have enough charge cannon
juice to eliminate the giants assuming you damage them evenly)

NOW HERE IS THE KEY TO THIS LEVEL: From 18 to 25 mins, its pretty much the
same scoring cash, where as if it's time spent getting shot at and being
damaged, you just ate your AAA away. So take your time when you need it.

Including the end, do like ten squats before that sniper part. I
prefer to just crouch and uncrouch as to when he fires. Attacking or
moving once before recrouching. The sniper will get hit by the sign
so you can really make some ground. You can risk doing dodges... but
you might waste 15 minutes of hard work.

BOSS---,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-@

Basic dodge and attacking will work for the first phase. This sounds
basic and it is. The key to mastering the first part is to being
able to dodge rush, only good way to deal decent fast damage.

Also, don't worry about blood when you dodge rush, the amount
you'll gain back from the high combo as the eye lays on the ground
will offset it.

The eyes turn purple, so as long as you don't let the camera's
perspective make you dodge the wrong way, you shouldn't have
trouble. Keep as full of blood as you can, and use the charge
cannon to keep the healthier eye closer to death. Once an
eye is dead, it starts cumming purple goo.

I try to only use the Charge Cannon if I'm at full blood. The
next phase takes forever, and the more blood you have, the
faster it will go.

The next part, I found this to work, only attack him when he
does his spit move, by dashing at his neck. Attacking three
times.

--DASH AWAY
If he did a vertical neck slam, attack him, and wait for next attack

If he did a horizontal neck slam, use a second level charge shot.

Repeat.

Some times his spit will glitch backwards, but I generally find this
way the safest. You also need to dodge in squares, you can't
block or go through the slime.

Now all you need to worry about is dodging that insanely stupid
final head butt. Hit me four times in a row once... to do this, wait
in the left corner, and once his head gets to the crack in the floor,
triple dodge to the right.

Sometimes he may do the vertical slam if you are far away, as long as you
aren't in the middle of the room or the middle of a dodge, you should be
ok.

(You can afford one big beam hit, and like 2-3 little lasers
and still get the single biggest bonus in the game!)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: Any and everything I say about the
urgency of saving blood to destroy the shield she makes can
take a back seat. Maybe a lil annoying on hard, but on easy and
normal, it's almost a completely different boss.
---Doesn't matter the setting, you can still get put in a place
where you will get hit with those trio of lasers, no matter
where you hide.
---You can get hit by many small objects and still get the AAA
rank very easily on Easy or Normal.

BOSS---,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-@

I have a love hate relationship with this boss.

The hate is two fold.

1. A perfect chance for the drill to work on that annoying shield, however,
it does nothing! On hard, and more on Very Hard towards the end of the battle,
it REALLY makes the fight drag on... The time diffence between my hard and
very hard file is HUGE, and easily the biggest marginal gap in the game. If
you are on easy, and just doing it for the trophy, an un-blooded regular
gun is ok, even sword slashes will work, though it kills your combo.

2. The overtime pay IS NUTS! See, it was only until I started replaying
levels for AAA ranks that I noticed you can actually block her two most
annoying laser attacks (the one where she makes 6 pods appears, and the
one where she makes them comes from her arms above). But the full bonus
only comes if you avoid them completely!

(This is also the level where I found out you can AAA rank using Ulti Mondo,
so that's an option if you REALLY want it that bad...)

Now, for any difficulty, mainly the harder ones, the battle is broken up into
three parts, first half of phase 1, second half of phase 1, and phase 2.

The phase 1 halves are broken up by her use of the shield. So before she
begins using it, your goal is to get AS MUCH BLOOD AS POSSIBLE. To do this,
you'll want to keep a combo up.

So blocking is a must. You can usually keep a combo up as long as you dash
quickly after a laser attack. When she does the large focused laser, you
may need to hit her once (one bullet), but that shouldn't be a problem as
once you find out which direction it is going and stay close to her,
it shouldn't be hard to out turn her.

When ever she stalls for a moment, you'll know she's do that triple laser
from above. You keep your combo up during this time, you'll want to dash
towards the outside of the map. 3/4's of the way out, shoot her once, and
then a few times during it to keep the combo up. This part is luck based,
as sometimes one laser CAN hit you if you are along the edges. (Try to
get a feel for where she is in the level, and aim for the edge of land
that is farthest away from her.)

Now if you have enough blood, when the shield starts coming up, you can
use the regular gun to destroy it quickly. If you are on Very Hard, I
would suggest using the charge cannon, three times with a double blue
charge to destroy the shield.

Unless she is at low health, I would avoid shooting her while you are
along the edges so you can keep your blood up. The shield is the biggest
problem in this fight. (Except on non Very Hard, as you'll kill her
very fast)

If the overtime pay wasn't so silly, this would be a very easy mission to
AAA rank, but I think they made it that way so a sort of "ultimate" tie
breaker gig for the leader boards... or to add challenge to a boss that
can be broken by holding in circle.

The second phase is god awfully easy, and the only thing the difficulty
changes is the amount of damage she takes. Just look up, shoot the red
plat forms, then attack her. When she gets up, don't back off, just
block like you did VS the monk, even if you get hit, she will take only
minor damage off...

*You do not need any overtime pay to AAA rank this mission.

Easy Update:
aaa/994,861/7:42/1:38/200,000/125,000/100,000/50,000

this run.)

Normal Update:
AAA/1,978,292/9:01/2:00/400,000/250,000/200,000/100,000
(The charge cannon makes the eyeball part almost too fast.
You only need three and a smidge of the charge cannon, and
for the earlier parts, make sure to kill at least one
ninja with a cool kill, but also make sure to adrenaline
rush the anchor wires that surround the immortal and giant
club wire. I would farm just guards with the yellow club
wire or VS any shield wire. For David's final form, you
can gather enough blood from one moon slash counter
rush and kill him with the blood gained from it. The massive
time bonus cut I did only netted me like 80,000)

Hard Update:
AAA/2,853,748/11:14/2:44/600,000/375,000/300,000/150,000
(I got this after nailing the AAA for very hard, and
if you do that as well, the final boss becomes a joke.
That damage bonus is with getting hit ONCE by David's
second phase charge. You'll need to have 5 charge
shots to cripple david's first phase.)

Very Hard Update:
A/2,664,902/18:10/6:25/223,332/500,000/400,000/200,000
(I'm not really finding many places to shave off time,
but you'll need more than a 1/4 of the damage fee if
you want a shot at AAA)

A/2,744,090/16:29/5:35/273,666/500,000/400,000/200,000
(I don't think I took anywhere close to a full life bar
of damage.)

AAA/3,104,138/15:29/4:37/492,000/500,000/400,000/200,000
(I shaved off a minute in the mission and the boss fight by taking
out the eyeballs faster at the end, and using super fast boss
killing methods. That damage bonus is from roughly 6-7 gems of
health gone, 2 from the ninja, a tiny bit from the purple eye
puss, and 4 damage from the bosses second form)

Start the mission, and be prepared to restart, thank god they put the
most random part right in the start. If you are aiming for the
Very Hard AAA rank, not only do you really need to go fast like
I'll tell you, but you need to take hardly any damage. If you get
hit anywhere from after the beginning to the boss fight, I would
restart, so any eyeball beam or mace hit from a wire.

I start off by breaking the two vase with purple stuff before
entering the mansion. I would instantly adrenaline rush the anchor
wire that comes from the left door, he drops purple stuff so kill
another enemy of your choosing.

With these three enemies, try to get blood, but if your combo sucks
don't waste time and get it back up. Remember that once you shoulder
toss someone, the enemies in this area will almost instantly
hit you in the back. Getting quick blood is all about getting two
enemies in one shoulder toss juggle.

Once the 5 elite wires appear, I start to pump up my blood. You don't
need full, and try to pick them off with adrenaline rushes. If you
can somehow start this part with 5.5 blood, I'd adrenaline rush
kill all but two, and build up blood on them. Most importantly is
to adrenaline rush 2-3 as fast as you can. Since in groups, they
like to use that jump move a lot, it will waste time dodging all
the time.

In the next room, you should get full blood, as after more elite wire
and company, then you'll be in that same ol room with an immortal wire,
kill him like you did before, with a double charge. Ignore the vases
as best you can.

(You can syphon full blood off this immortal as I'll suggest below,
there is even purple stuff in the fight right vase in the left
door that needs the switch before the mirror jump, however, I
wouldn't waste time with doing or getting any of those.)

The next two fights will be with elite wires with shields, make sure
you have full blood by the time you finish the second fight VS four
of them.

For the first fight, I always adrenaline rush the shieldless wire
first, so I can get some free hits on a side guy alone.

Remember that these enemies are VERY easy to shoulder toss, and you
should only attack them after one for easy blood, but remember
you need 15 for the overtime pay. Try to kill each with an
adrenaline rush. Combo for more blood in between. (Not to brag,
but I usually get to here with full blood, in that case, you don't
need much, if your blood is lower, aim for 4-5)

After the shield enemies go to mirror world with one immortal
wire, a big wire, and two anchor wires. In this room, you'll want to
line up the two bigger wires with a charge cannon shot then adrenaline
rush every enemy in the room EXCEPT THE IMMORTAL WIRE. You just need
one double blue for this. On Very Hard, you leave the Anchor's with
little health, I know you can get the cool kills with killing these
anchors on other difficulties right out with the blast, assuming you
ace the ninja fight and cool kill everything else.

You'll want to gain 8-9 bars of blood (factor after the adrenal rush),
keeing in mind the vase next to the exit door with purple stuff. The
stunned immortal should be hit to a ten hit combo.
--Back off and do a charge cannon shot
Repeat. Once you get your combo to 5, the blood gain is fast, and
answers the secret of this level.

With your 8 blood, adrenaline rush the next four enemies, the sniper
and the anchors, this will eliminate any bullshit.

To speed up the eyeball part, you'll want to try to start exploding
eyes to consume the purple stuff to keep a steady kill on the
summoning eyes.

The charge cannon's 2nd charge should be used to hit BOTH kinds
of eyes at a time, and once you do, switch to your reg gun
and slow down snipe the powder keg spiky eyes. 7 Blood each time.

Obviously try to finish with more blood, but you can get away with
fewer than you think. But since using that inf blood syphon takes
longer, it may be wise to pause the game and check your targets
to insure you finish this part fast and flawless.

For the final fight, drill the large beast, then charge cannon both,
then adrenaline rush the big guy. Then repeat with the second large beast.

Keeping that samurai alive, syphon blood from him like the one before
him. There are two pots with purple stuff in this fight I like to save
for David, incase I fudge up.

So charge cannon him with a double blue, attack him to 12ish, pull
away, charge cannon, get it higher etc... Remember that the time he is
stunned gets cut to almost nothing if you back away.

GET FULL BLOOD BEFORE DAVID!

BOSS---,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-,-'-@

The final boss is broken up into 3 phases. The first phases plays exactly
like the second phase the last time you play him, so either remember how
you did it, or scroll back up. Having to do this mission so many times
ranks up there with S ranking DMD of DMC1, and Shinobi on Super.

PRACTICE THIS FIGHT IF YOU FAIL IT!

To get that 822,742 ex time bonus, you need to do it exactly how I tell
you.

With full blood, even on Very Hard, you can own this fight with 8.9
roses with double blue charge shots. You can do these after any of
his attacks and is by far the easiest and fastest way to flawlessly
beat him now. If you saved vases, you can miss twice.

Also, blood don't transfer here, so cut cut and don't screw around
any longer than you need with purple stuff in pots.

The second phase is best played by countering his charges or sword
swipes with dodge rush. Just remember, if you can "break him down" super
fast before orbs start going, the more blood you get here, the better
your final boss will be. A few things to note...

+It seems the orb attack is based on time, so the more you miss dodge
rush moments, the more health he'll have while doing it.
+He breaks down faster as he weakens, but dodge rushs don't seemed to
work as well as hits at combo 5 outside of any dodge rush.
+If you can't counter well, countering the FIRST sword attack deals
the most damage.
+If the orbs get out, you can attempt to dodge through them (which acts
like a dodge rush)

If you only took 2-3 gems of damage, I allow for TWO hits from this
boss, and it's usuaully from the bullshit purple orb.

To break him faster with blood, I use two blue charge cannon shots,
that and usually a few sword attacks works.

As you dodge rushing him, the dashes are easy, you can freely
dash into him in most cases and get the counter. The trouble
is, is that if you miss, you lost AAA, and if he is close, it
you need to time it.

With the sword attack, ALWAYS dodge the first attack, once the
screen turns back to normal (the instant) dodge again. If you
are in front of him, dodge back, and if you are behind him,
either dodge besides him or to the side around him.

The second hit may give you trouble, dodge rush the first,
back off, then use all 3 dodges into his back for a
dodge rush. Little risk.

The key to this fight is getting off as many triple dodge rush sword
counters. Once does around a 1/4-1/5 of his health.

After a dodge rush, make sure to get in some free hits, and you only gain
blood when you do damage to him while he is on one knee. You can do damage
to him during dodge rush, but you lose blood during these times.

The random-ness happens when his orbs start blowing up, sometimes kicking
you off the platform right when you down him, then orbing it again
right on the new chunk of land. This is why you are allowed two hits.

If you can break him down before the orb attack and leave him with
little health, and get some blood, you should be able to get by with
no hits.

I would suggest only dodging through purple orbs if he has a lot of
health, as that is the only way to stop them from exploding. If he has
like a 1/6th of health, you can either quickly break him with the
charge cannon or dodge rush him to death, just watch out for purple
glyphs on the ground.

For his final phase, you'll want to refer to mission 4 again when I mention
the defensive playing on how to do the dodge burst rushes, just like before,
you can do this multiple times in a row if you watch his sword in slow motion.

If you get into a combo here, you are boned unless you didn't take a
hit in the second phase of the fight. Since you are most probably tense
just getting here under 7 gems of damage.

For you main damage to him, run in circles, closely tappering to him, once
you see him attack, dodge. He is so fast, that you really don't need to bait
him that much.

But to destroy the time limit for this boss, you are going to need to get
some ample blood for your charge cannon. Two double blues enough to be
worth it, and you can squeeze 2.5-3 if you can perform any of these two
stunts.
1. Dodge rush his moon slash: You can attack his back after he is done, and
if you get close enough, fast enough, he'll cancel it sometimes if you miss
the dodge rush.
2. Dodge rush him THREE TIMES IN A ROW. He is much harder to do this to
than the last boss as arms are going faster and everywhere, but I found
if you run counter clockwise the entire time, you can usually side dodge
counter clockwise for the 2nd/3rd strike, to not only get another dodge
rush, but to get out of the way of his sword (the camera might make you
actually dodge into his sword, most of the time it is if you stop
pressing square and keep trying to dodge too quick.)

The only method I found that really works, if quickly bait him, then dodge
away, his AI is so super aggressive that you can always dodge rush him...
that's if you are quick enough. If you want any shot at that AAA rank time,
you'll need 3-4 volleys of charge cannon. It is safer and faster, the good
news is, you can get away with charging close to him. He dodges faster too
you only if you use the regular arm cannon.

If you have trouble getting the triple dodge down for this boss, you
really need to practice on dodging his moon slash.

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: I find this level easier on hard/very hard
as you won't finish the mission too soon. I mean, for very hard, if you
don't get touched, you pretty much NEED the adrenaline rush move hardcore
to get to the top. BUT, no matter the difficulty, you still need to watch
out for machine guns. Of course on hard/very hard, enemies will attack
you the second they jump on, and you can't stun them.

This mission is all about getting to the top as fast as you can. To do that,
start by getting full blood. On Very hard, you'll need to use adrenal rush
to even make the top, and you'll need to have to start it at a high combo
amount so you can get back blood very quickly.

I didn't have to try for the Easy and Normal ones it seems.

If you plan on getting the Gentleman's bonus, I suggest killing the machine
gun enemies asap.

You really shouldn't have trouble with this level, you can really do bad at
literally everything and get an AAA for the most part. Just remember, if you
don't get hit, that is AT LEAST 75% of the AAA rank!

If you are trying for perfect stats, I like to keep 3 enemies on at a time,
and count out the cool kills I have. You need over 20 cool kills to get a
perfect score. It's hardly worth the few extra points as you'll hurt your
time, since if you look above, you can play crappy and still make out.

Lower difficulty Adjuestments: The only thing that really will change
is how many shots it takes to open a crate with the regular arm
cannon. Thus you can dodge less, or even avoid back tracking.

A very easy level, short, and it doesn't even change much if you have it
on very hard.

Break the first box for some power then grab 1st bomb right in front of you.
The next bomb is the one behind the box with the lone Skyplane drone. I
fire my arm gun to weaken the boxes then I rush in and attack it.

The next bomb skip. It will be in the middle hub area. Two paths from this
will each have a bomb, both free of enemies. Make sure you open the box with
the purple stuff in it room full of boxes. It's in the right corner to the
bomb.

Once you have that blood, charge cannon the boxes in the main area for the
final bomb, the stage ends.

You can take up up to 1:28 on Very Hard and still get AAA, and that was with
some screwing around. Also, don't kill any enemies, so when you exit doors,
hold in circle.

I didn't put in my super secret way to get under 50 second finishes, because
the time score difference is so small.

Easy Update:
A/2:31/0/11,000/11,000/25,000

If you play this stage on easy, you hardly have to try, but it becomes
obvious that headshots are what really matter on normal and above. Either
way, you can wait till enemies that are on the steps are on level ground
for easy head shots.

As you can see, waiting for easy head shots on easy diffculty not only
doesn't produce the 15 needed for the full bonus, but it's much better to
finish faster. I once finished with 8 head shots and in 1:35, totally blowing
the AAA out of the water.

For headshots, aim the green dot above the enemy. Even if the bullet hits
in the shoulder pad, it will kill them in one hit (but not count!).

The difficulty levels make more waves. Easy is too easy, even cutting
away a headshot bonus sealer. While very hard adds two waves with
giant wires, which are difficult.

I still have yet to complete the Very Hard version of this level, I
don't plan to for a while. The elite wires are too annoying for me to deal
with.

Though if I need like 400k points to move up a spot on the leader boards,
I might devote some time to this.

(Expect an updated and actually strat when I get one :D)

Very Hard Update:
A/1,010,516/6:14/49,600/300,000/135,034/0
(Still don't know why I'm not punching enough...)

AAA/1,590,312/5:28/147,000/300,000/300,000/0
(Took WAY too much damage, but if you finish fast, it's worth it!)
(Remember, 5:28 = 843,312 / 6:10 = 548,670)

(For the gentleman's bonus, you are going to need to switch up the way
to start the level {by doing two counter kill headshots.} I would still
urge you don't bother with it, as if you take OVER 6 minutes, your
score gets garbage, and pretty much negates all that effort. Naturally
this isn't a slight problem as anything below very hard is a cake
walk since you can pretty much destroy the final part.)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: You can finish this level MUCH MUCH faster
since the ending generators will be destroyed SO MUCH faster. Full blood
and the regular gun work for hard and under (you'll be wanting to aim high
to head shot the gunners.) For normal and easy, you can also finish off
the two final enemies with an adrenaline rush! Also, you don't need to
dodge counter most enemies on easy/normal as it's faster to just
headshot!

If you are playing too cautious, you'll A it due to the steep drop in
points for time.

Any ways, I would highly recommend having full blood before running up the
steps (and take out the flyer first). Once you have the blood, now it's time
to head up stairs. Charge a cannon shot, it should down the large wire and
kill the two flyers.

Grab the headphones and go down the steps.

Adrenaline rush the wire with the gun, then fill your blood back up to full,
if you are on Very Hard, I would suggest killing these guys with QTE prompts.

The next part should consist of flawless adrenaline rushing two elite wires,
then charge cannoning an immortal wire. Once you grab his head, be prepared
to dodge. (For a no damage and speedier cool kill, you can dodge counter
the sniper wire, but if you are just going for the AAA rank, you don't need
to be risking it.)

Assuming you cool kill everyone. If you didn't, inf. enemies spawn at the
end.

This gets easier the more to try the stage. Either way, the elite wire drops
some blood. If you filled your blood before the immortal, you should have
around full blood here if you didn't draw your cannon VS the three gunners
(you kill them with counters). Any how, the 4 generators you need to kill?

On Hard and under, a full blood stock of regular arm cannon works for all
of them, on Very Hard, you'll need two full meters, just about. So after
you unload all your juice out, make sure you use the enemies to fill it
back up. If you didn't get 30 guard breaks by now, you really need to.

As long as you get your guard breaks in and don't take too many bullets,
the level has simple standard enemies, nothing is too hard.

GENTLE TIPS. --> Not for time, but for safety!

Since you are most likely on Very Hard (Hard is very similar), you can opt
to get the Gent bonus. If it was worth the price of the other objectives
(300,000) I would say screw it, but you can get 2,000,000 in extra points
just from this mission alone!

Start off by shooting the boxes a few times till the enemy on the right
comes out, dodge counter him, and his buddy.

You can get the right guy shooting at you solo if you stand half way in the
middle of the railing (not all the way to the right.)

The second guy is a little harder, but since it is right at the start, it's
ok to fail here. Grap the purple stuff in the box.

Now, as soon as you get down, aim your gun at the right bomb piller to take
out the drone. The pillar has blood. Adrenaline rush the clubless wire and
then attack the lone enemy. Make sure you put in at least 15 punches (two
counters should do it.).

*You may or may not grab the purple stuff under the stairs, I save it
incase I screw up.*

For the big guy, nothing has changed, but if you want to take the two
fliers out in the first shot, you need to let them come to you a lil
bit.

Now, head down the stairs, adrenaline rush the wire with the gun and
the wire farthest away from the boom piller.

Get blood off this enemy and finish getting your punches. If you are
at 4.5 blood, adrenaline rush him, then the sniper, and then the elite
wire.

ALWAYS KILL THE TOP GUY FIRST! This is so once you kill the elite
wire, you can instantly attack the immortal wire. If you don't, he
can travel, and if he isn't in a corner, you can waste some time.

So anyways, here is where you'll want to double blue charge cannon
him, then attack him ten times, then back up, shoot ONLY A SINGLE
blue, then attack again, stopping when you are full blood.

Now, the next two parts I did SOOOOO MANY times to get the safest strat.
Now mind you, it is faster if you counter headshot everyone in the first
room, and in the final room, use the enemies to build blood, instead of
using a bloodest regular arm cannon.

So for the triple gunner fight, as soon as you get in, shoot the control
panal to the left. The one of the right is hidden well behind the boom
pillar, so dodge back to cover, then use a single charge to pierce the
boom pillar and hit the panel. KEEP IN MIND THAT THE CHARGE SHOOT DOES
NOT PIERCE THE YELLOW WALL! You need to aim high.

Once it is done, adrenaline rush them all, SAVING the elite sniper for
the end.

Now the final door opens, don't shoot till the enemies come in. You'll
want to just circle the room. Basicaly once you corral them in the
middle, just aim at generator, shoot, and walk towards it. You'll be
doing a square pattern.

Headshot the gunner once the gens are dead, always circle him. For the
brawler, I like to bait him to attack, which is nearly always a triple.
If you can counter him once, it should give you enough hits in to
do one last final adrenaline rush.

Keep in mind, you DO NOT NEED TO adrenaline rush these enemies for the cool
kill bonus, but I highly suggest you do incase I fudged up somewhere.

The difference between 5:30 and 6:08 is nearly 300,000 points, so when you
choose which way you want to do this level, this is the breaking point.

(After my first try on hard, and seeing what the objects were, I AAA ranked
each one on my first try... it really is a simple mission)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: None, nothing can really hurt you, and if you
adrenaline rush the gunners that spawn, you'll be fine, I don't know the
total, but I hit max cool kills with 2 or 3... so if you are on easy, I guess
you might need to purposely let some bats eat fire.

Ok, start the mission by "talking" to the torches, this will damage the
"boss" who won't do crap. Since this mission is on a timer, you really don't
have to worry about going fast... in fact, if you go too fast, you might
screw yourself on cool kills.

So once they are let, bats will swarm a torch, this is when you need to use
your charge cannon, at literally any level. When you aim at a torch, make
sure to pin some garbage inbetween you, and it, so you get more blood.

You start with blood, there is blood in boxes, and the bats themselves
give you entirely too much blood to even worry about any sort of management.

Unless you use the regular arm gun, you shouldn't have trouble, and if you
somehow know you'll hit 50, you can use your sword.

I never once had to worry about the blood gain objective, and if I did,
I have now idea what the game considers an once of blood. All I know is
that I had near full blood the entire time, but don't know if having
full blood negates any gain. So to be safe, you can use a quad white
charge on the cannon.

Again, I wrote too much, I could of gotten away with saying "Use the Charge
Cannon on the bats around torches, and adrenaline rush the second you see
a laser light aimed on you."

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: The starting fight is all that should really
change. There are eyeballs too, but you should know how to deal with them by
now.

So besides finding wine, which I can't help you on at the moment, you need
to master the burst rush for the first fight. Either kill one with it, or
fast blood to kill them both with an Adrenaline rush. You need all four
spiky beasts to get a cool kill bonus.

The other two are after the eyeballs, which you, 100%, need to kill, so
you can get enough purple stuff to drill the MANY holes in this mission.

With six enemies, this mission boils down to having a good sense of
direction. I also need to see if the time bonus is like the bug mission
above, as that will change everything.

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: I actually had a more enjoyable time playing
Very Hard as it was faster, thus less waiting. No adjustments are needed.

Shoot the barrels. Nothing I can do to make that happen better. Pretty much
all skill.

If you want the AAA ranks, you are going to need to get through the level
without getting hit at all to have a chance.

Getting hit with one barrel is an A on Normal.

Only real tip I can give you is to wait till the last second to nail a red
barrel, as it will blow up everything on the screen.

I also got hit by the 50th barrel on normal. I hate life.

Update, right after sending in this guide, I AAA ranked all of these levels.
Nothing really changes with the settings except the speed and the odds that
a double shot will come out, though it still only as low as like 4 tops per
round.

I think the blue barrels will heal you, which doesn't help as you shouldn't
be getting hit in the first place.

I actually found Very hard to be easier... it was faster, so less BS waiting

(Note on easy the massive leeway of cool need for an AAA)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: On anything below Very Hard, not only can
you slack a little more on the turret, but you can take a few hits from
the elite wires.

Here is the deal, if you can do the first part without getting damaged, then
you should be able to finish the level with an AAA rank without too much
trouble. I finished on very hard with about 3 diamonds of health left.

However, the first part includes getting 30 guard breaks, and leaving the
area with 5.2 roses of blood. The blood is need to adrenaline rush kill all
of the gun enemies after the first turret area.

For the turret areas, the quicker you kill the things shooting at you, the
better, if you shouldn't have trouble over heating, as long as you are aiming
at the right spots, it shouldn't take long on any difficulty to take down
a trio of hover crafts. Kill the floating eyes first, they spawn everything.

So generally, to play it safe, just do the start perfectly and the AAA is
yours, assuming you cool kill everyone. All the elites should have enough
health on any difficulty to beat enough blood and punches out of... try to
avoid dodge rushes for this part.

Please note, it is nearly impossible to score a perfect damage run on
hard and Very hard. If you want to, you'll need to be killing the fliers as
they spawn.

Around half health (including auto recovery and the free chunk they give
you at the end will give you half the damage bonus for very hard.)

(The Gent bonus is worth 800,000 on Very Hard, which is HALF the
points you need for the AAA rank.)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: You can slack off in normal and under,
taking a lot of damage. However, it may actually be harder to adrenaline
rush every enemy as they die too fast. On Very hard, it hardly makes a
difference since you'll be killing upwards of 75% of the enemies in
a split second!

The only way to AAA rank this on the harder settings is the build up blood
early, then have a ball one-hit killing everything. Make sure you refill it
as much as possible.

I was too lazy to try to AAA rank hard and very hard before sending this
FAQ in (originally), but for Easy and Normal, I didn't really focus on the
Aim Cut payment, and I did fine! In fact, as long as you know that you
should be "Aim Cutting", you should do fine. The goal is "Over 15", and
there are exactly 18 enemies in the level... two of which are gun wires
on the roof.

Ok, so since getting just the AAA isn't really hard, the follow strat is for
Very Hard WITHOUT GETTING HIT!

First things first, get used to the unskippable movie, you'll be seeing a lot
of it. This mission has a lot of BULLSHIT in it... I once got hit by the LAST
ninja's throwing knife...

Any ways, the hardest part is the start. Before triggering the scene where
enemies rush in, destroy the middle sake? barrel to reveal a purple stuff.

DO NOT GRAB IT YET, before grabbing it, you should try to headshot the
gun wire. If you don't soon, just grab the purple thing, and adrenaline
rush the one samurai (they both give a lil purple stuff.)

Once he is out of the way, either focus ONLY on killing the gunner OR
combo the little guy after a counter (hopefully you don't get shot and
hopefully you can stagger the other samurai).

Any ways, once the second samurai is dead, the rest of the enemies are
blood fountains, but you STILL need to watch out for a second sniper
that appears, but since you have no long reach samurai breathing down
your neck, it will be much easier. Take a bow, that's the hard part.

Now take the "drill" path, but don't start drilling until the other door
opens. This is to avoid wasting blood due to cutscene cancel.
On this hidden path, make sure to find the 3 barrels with purple
stuff in it, especially the one tucked in on the left after the
turn, since it's a big one.

Drill the hole and before moving on, shoot the center piece again so you
don't need to worry about splash damage. You should be next to full blood now,
and if you aren't, you can get a shit ton here (counter the shields, then
attack, not only do they both drop purple stuff, but they are blood
fountains.)

When these three enemies enter, adrenaline rush the non shield guy INSTANTLY.
Be prepared to mash back and circle to dodge, as you'll most likely get pegged
by a club.

Try to finish this part with 9 roses, which isn't hard.

Now, onto the last bullshit part. Again, before triggering enemies, shoot
the center barrel. The ninja can STILL jump up here, but the good news is
the barrel won't be accidently killing them.

Ok, so the enemies come out, BEFORE you even get to see Mondo, hold in R1
and adrenaline rush the ninja. He is killable if you act quick. Then target
the gun wire, then the other weak ones.

For the immortal wire, you can syphon blood from him till you are max
(back up after your first ten hits, then do a single blue charge cannon
shot, then attack, repeat till you are at like 5-6, he also drops a purple
thing for one rose.)

Now comes the bullshit, two ninja and a big guy. Now, the big guy is easy,
you don't even need to drill this one first, however, the problem isn't

really do besides wait till they jump down to start your adrenaline

big guy is far away, this is a lot safer than dodging, as they like to
throw kunai in a spread.

I found the best thing to do is back away once the final fight starts,
more often than not, at least one ninja will try to run at you.

For the AAA rank on Very Hard without the gentleman's bonus, just don't take
more than a bullet in the start and a throwing start at the end and you
should hit 300,000 on that. Time really isn't an issue... unless you don't
use adrenaline rush like you should be doing! Remember, having just 55 seconds
left gives you like 750,000.

(Since there is no real time difference, all you need to know is don't
get hit, and kill everything.)

Difficulty Adjustments: Not sure if anything even changes if you constantly
hold in block. From recently AAA ranking all of them, it appears there is
no difference in difficulty. Choose which AAA rank you need to complete the
set of 44 before starting this mission.

It's more of a reflex game, but here are some pointers if you haven't found
anything around the web yet.

+You need to not get hit AND kill every enemy for the AAA, no exceptions.

+Always block. Learn to claw with your right arm, so you never get shot.

+When you change sides of the road, always do it before you think you are
going to hit. The motorcycle is longer than it may appear... always
remember that no matter how much you buckle to the side to prepare of
the lane change, that the front wheel of the motorcycle never changes.

This means it is VERY important to NEVER EVER EVER pay attention to
Mondo's head when you are leaning. You can move passed a spike strip
way longer than you may think at first glance.

+Remember where the cars are, they are annoying. They appear on
the 2nd lap, once you hit ten kills, a car will come. The next
car is easier to avoid as it is after an eneny.

+The third run through, there is an annoying double enemy pattern...

In fact, the first lap is easy.
The second lap makies you practice last second bails/kills.
The third lap is the double! Make sure you get into the first enemy's
lane as soon as possible so you can hit the next guy.

Once you kill the "next guy" or enemy 16, go to the left. Trust me.

On the final lap, two things to remembers:

The enemy that is inbetween two spike strips treat as if there is
a spike strip opposite of him, so left right FAST!

On the end, there are two spike barriers after the second last
enemy. Go Right. This needs to be quicker than you may think.

One last tip, YOU DO NOT NEED YOUR SWORD!

worth more, but there just isn't any time on hard or very hard for this.)

Lower Difficulty Adjustments: The fact that the goodie boxes give you
health along with blood, combined with the issue of WAY LESS HEALTH damage,
doing what works to simply beat this mission on Very Hard will award you
with an AAA rank on lower settings.

I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong to screw up my AAA run for the
life of me on Very Hard, so I gave up... maybe I had been shot by too many
drones?

For easy and normal, kill every thing. You have much more time. The enemies
are all shotable and can't block.

For hard, ghost payment, start out left and make sure to grab all purple
stuff (bridge between island and gazeboo, touching the gazeboo, back area
of the waterfall, and the four one you really can't miss.) and when you get
to the wire arms, you need to get lucky to dodge through them.

It's been found out that you can't AAA rank this mission with a ghost payment
on Very Hard

When I devise away to kill all the enemies, I'll update this FAQ. But since
it's only like a 30,000 MAX difference, and in terms of leaderboard score,
that's nothing!

A very simple level... getting just one of the bonuses will get you 30,000
points, and as you need around 45,000, it doesn't leave you need much
to need the AAA rank.

With a near perfect run (at double the time at :36, even getting hit once
still netting the 5,000 damage bonus), you'll have around 65,000. I still
would urge not going for the just guard payment, just make sure you get
at least TWO. (Most I had was enough for 27,307)

For getting the combo, it should be obvious that you need to use only
punches to also get the guard break. If you plan on getting 30, you need
to either get hit once in the middle of it, or let the combo fade as the
shoulder toss will add to the hit counter.

Really, I said too much, just punch to 30, it should be enough for the AAA
rank on this easy level.

You need pretty much over 20,000 points to make the AAA rank. By the way,
this mission is BULLSHIT. Mainly because YOU CAN NOT EVEN DO AN ADRENALINE
BURST in the mission, so don't even bother trying it.

You can get the 50 hit combo in 23 seconds, but if you take 28 seconds, you
will still make the AAA cut off.

You do not need to worry about just guards, if you want them, his downward
strike is the best to counter as his sideways swipe will likely get you
hit even if you block it correctly.

During the update, I maxed this level, it is unneeded as AAA ranking it with
nothing fancy still works. You'll want to try to work your just guards in as
you are attacking him. Either way, to get the Aim cut (and btw, I should
just redo this, the time it takes to get the just guards isn't worth it),
either do it at hit 49 while he is down, or charge cannon him at hit 48.

You do not, but any means, need the gentleman's bonus to AAA rank this
mission, which isn't bad, the thing that irks me is that to get a perfect
Just Guard bonus, you literally NEED TO FUCK UP! (I hate when games do
that shit.)

The first two waves are easy... clubs and fists, things you see all
day long through the game.

However, the final wave is the tough one. You really don't get too much
practice outside this arena with this samurai, and lets face it, all but
in the start of mission 7, they are pretty much adrenaline rush bait.

The biggest problem is they aren't aggresive enough, and sometimes you just
lose your combo. The best tip I have to counter their super fast strike is
to mash circle the second you see thier arm twitch.

Good luck, this is all skill based.

This one may seem hard, since you lack most of your abilities, but it isn't
that bad. Start off the match trying to get as many Just Guards in as you
can, the first 5 enemies are the easiest in the game, by far, you get
these on. The best news is you don't even get a prompt to do the ground punch.

Towards your last kill, you should get some purple stuff, so don't wait till
the last second to kill them all.

The next wave are the ninja, now it's time to focus on getting some guard
break punches in. Don't go over board, as you have two more waves in, try
for about ten.

The next wave has 3 samurai, do another ten punches if you can, don't worry
if they start blocking, if they do, adrenaline rush a non blocking one.

The last wave requires you to punch an immortal wire any ways to execute
him, so this is where your last punches will come in.

As long as you don't get hit, and get in 5 or so guards in the first round,
with scattered punches along the way, you shouldn't have trouble AAA ranking
this mission. Make sure to land extra punches on the final guy if you think
you didn't grab enough.

Something is glitched with this mission. The stats up above gave me an AAA
rank.

Now when I was writing this FAQ, I got this stats...

Score: 25,596/:27/Damage:2,120/0/No Gentleman/22,500 Destruction bonus.

My score was FIVE TIMES HIGHER... but I got an A.

Same with a final score at of 34,301... still an A.

So here is the deal, if you didn't get the AAA rank like I did, on your
first try with a four second one move finish, and further over wrote that
chance with a crappy A rank as said above, you'll need to aim for the 26
kills as mentioned in the bonus.

To do that, just run away and cross your fingers you do not kill four
at a time, then cross your fingers you can kill four at a time when
the clock is ticking down.

Keep in mind if you are doing it this way, you do not have to worry about
getting hit (you'll be getting hit, trust me.) And you only have the moon
slash move.

For doing the 4 second job, remember to only bank on the finisher, the
regular slashes can be interupted.

If you kill 26 folks, you'll get 100,000, which is enough to get the AAA rank,
and worth WAY more than the 10,000 no damage bonus. I will say, it took me
1:29 on that run, in which it only gave me $51 for time.

As you can see from my first run, I didn't really try for the Aim cut, and
still got the AAA rank pretty easy.

I did the run again, and jacked the numbers to cool kills 11,000 and aim cut
bonus 5,961, having 59,342, but that was way too much work needed for the
AAA rank. If you really need it, again, you really just need to work on getting
full blood once, then unloading adrenaline rushes. Damage, as you can see,
is hardly a factor.

My last try (which still can be better), I gave up. I would finish the level
thinking I hit the gent bonus, and it would give it to me. The thing is,
all too much you'll get hit by one bullet during pretty much any more, and
by the time you notice, say inside of dodge rush, your auto heal will kick
it.

If you are going to try for it, start the match holding in block, the flick
the analog stick to do the dodge rush, this will start your blood, not gather
a little more while you circle the arena.

Just remember, if you are playing it safe, chances are you are going slow,
you don't have time to run your blood up and do all the adrenaline rushes,
but if you make it to the end, always waste your extra roses on the shield
folk.

Keep in mine that the arena only holds 4 gunners, and they only come
back once the 4 are dead. Also, if you are attacking a gunner around the
shield guys, dodge after your first or second hit, because they are super
annoying... if you do a just guard, DO NOT PRESS TRIANGLE!

Getting 2 head shots, will put your cool kills at 3,250 and payment at
5,000, and 3 just guards will put your payment at 6,730. With a damage

I would imagine that you can also AAA rank this mission by not getting hit,

This would be harder, if not for the fact they don't cluster the enemies
around you.

Start off by shooting the gun guy in the head, try to save ammo. Now try
to get as much blood as you can here.

Once they are dead, instantly kill the red guy with an adrenaline rush.

Now two wires should appear, headshot the gunner, and combo/just guard
then adrenaline rush the club holder.

Now a ninja, adrenaline rush it.

Then finally a kamakaze drone, use your charge cannon on it, as
using your regular arm cannon will waste your special bonus.

Time seems like the biggest scoring point in this mission, so if you have
trouble getting guards, work on finishing fast.

I retried this mission, doing two just guards, getting full score you
accuracy, but my time sucked, and ended up with lower score.

Just as simple as the first combo 30, only you'll need to finish off the
two targets with an adrenaline rush. They get "downed" very easy.

If you don't get hit, and do all the guard breaks, you'll likely end up with
48,000-50,000 points, assume you do just two just guards. Again, doing 15
just guards is nearly impossible with in the small amount of time that is
give.

But seeing how I AAA ranked this mission with only 13,500 in guard breaks,
if you simply just do the 30, you don't even have to worry about just guards.

You do need to do a couple, otherwise, I'd say use the charge cannon and
end this stage in 8 seconds.

This game as a loose definition of an animal... any ways, the eyes have
adjusted health, but the Skyplanes die fast as well.

Try to only shoot when there isn't anything behind a target, and never just
aim and fire, the game likes to auto target you on the wrong enemy.

For the bend and stretch pay, do like three to four at a time between "waves."
Otherwise you'll waste too much time, or get stunned like an idiot. The
damage bonus is easy to hit as long as you don't just stand still with your
gun out.

And remember to always remember about the suicide drone finish. For this one,
it almost always auto aimed me to an eyeball.

If only the eyeballs has this much health in the normal game, mission 12
would of been a breeze to hit the boss.

I imagine you can get a pretty high score in this level, but it is not
needed for the AAA rank. You can complete ignore the Sub weapon usage secret
bonus thing, and just focus on headshots. In fact, my first time through the
level, I got hit plenty of times, and still got the AAA rank!.

Not taking any damage is worth 10,000, but again, just finishing the level
quick is enough to warrant the AAA rank.

If you take up to the last second, as long as you don't get hit and kill all
targets with headshots, you will get the AAA rank.

Before I figured out how to get the obliteration payment, I assumed it would
be a shit ton of points due to how hard it is... well it isn't worth it at
all. Well the headache that is.

Here is how you do it, you counter the first guy, and attack him mid air till
his mask flies off. Headshot him mid air. Now this would work for the next
but since weaker enemies come in, you need to do some planning, so try to
milk some blood out of the other guy before you headshot his buddy.

Now pull out your drill and walk backwards so you can get two of the club
guys at once, this will strip the mask off, and sometimes can even stun them
which is a free kill. Do this again. If you hit the whole crowd, it will
make your life easier as the purple heads will grab the fuck out of you
if you try to headshot them mid air, for example.

should be, on my second play of this level, I had money here, but took

The hardest part of the mission is actually the time.

The most important part is the is dodge the mini skyplane and take it
out asap, this will almost destroy your sub weapon bonus. Try to head
shot the little guy as well.

Now you need to take out the immortal. Do this by getting a combo, try
to combo him and others till you have a lot of blood. Once you finish
him, don't stop the adrenaline rush, do the same to the red guy.

Hopefully you have enough blood to charge cannon and adrenaline rush the
big guy. If not, you need around 3 roses, so hopefully you have enough
time.

As long as you don't get hit by more than 1 BIG attack, you should have
enough to AAA rank this mission.

The difference between a headshot and
five seconds is around 20,000 points.

*To get the best score, you'll need to attack the immortal wire first, then
use a charge shot on the flier. Doing this you can the obliteration payment.

You still need one headshot, and maybe two charge cannon shots.

Oh well, as you can see from above, you don't really need to extent the
level to get all the aim cuts, just as long as you speed it up.

Basically on the first enemy, get your blood to max, and the rest is
simple from there. These golden enemies only take a single blue
charge to put into dizzy state.

I would find out the number for max cool kills, but since this mission
isn't ranked on the leaderboards, I don't care. You can take all to

(I actually killed a red thing by blade, I've done that two other

You'll get to see just how bad the adrenaline burst move can be in this
mission! Any ways, my second play through using this strat shaved off 30
seconds, 400 more damage bucks, less guards, but a whooping 40,000 more points,
so I know it will get you an AAA rank.

Here is what you do.

From the start, build your combo by punching the gun wire, by this time, the
red big guy should start spinning at you... hopefully you will dodge rush
him and get a big combo.

With this big combo, you should be able to amass 7-9 blood roses. With that
many, you can now pick and choose to kill the rest of the red enemies at will.

I would suggest getting more than 5.5 roses, as you may whiff a few times,
just like the ninja, sometimes they just can't be hit. And the searching time
drains your blood as well.

Damage takes a back seat as well, as long as you get two counters in the first
wave of enemies and near full blood, you shouldn't have a problem.

If you are aiming for no damage, a trick is the stun the gunner before the
other spikies join up, so at least you'll have some rest. If you have a lot
of blood, once it gets really crowded, you can relax and spend extra time in
adrenaline rush mode. The best time to use it is RIGHT when they spawn, so
they won't be dodging it.

Just 4 immortal wires. As you can see from my stats, I did a garbage play
through, and did just fine.

If you want a surefire way to beat it under a minute and score over 100,000...

Just beat up the non ninja looking immortal till his R1 icon appears, then
beat him up till you have full blood. You will most likely get hit by the
other one, but who cares. Once you are around 7, charge cannon both of them,
then adrenaline rush them both.

I did not need to use the drill to down the big enemy with a double blue
charge.

If you want to avoid damage, attack the ninja first. If you do, you won't
really need to syphon that much blood for the second part.

Just guards aren't important either, but if you get them, take them.

This stage is bullshit is MANY ways. first off, you can't really get 26
enemies, the stage ends when you hit 10, so you can at tops, get like 15ish
if you are lucky and get a few at a time.

Next, the enemies take ALL BUT AN EXPLOSION AND A PUNCH to die, so if you
don't punch an enemy first, it takes TWO explosions to kill them, or you
risk punching them to death. Talk about bull.

Now, I had a run with 142,172, which is well over the AAA mark, but to get
the AAA rank, all you really need to do is beat the level. Notice that
piss poor damage rank? You hardly need to try. Just knowing that the
enemies won't die from full health is enough to help you out.

Full health awards 10,000 points, and I've gotten 108,333 in my destruction

There is really nothing I can do, this mission is kind of based on luck as
once you punch, you can't really cancel as fast as you are used to. And the
plasma can't really be dodged like regular bullets.

There are so many things, like if you go for punches, you'll likely get
stunned.

If you try not to get stunned by waiting till it stops, you'll likely run
out of time.

If you try to cool kill the gun guy too much, you'll likely run out of
time.

The only tip I can give you is the punch at the middle of an object, and
since the enemies come the more you destroy, I prefer to start at the
coffins as they are far apart.

If this mission counted in the leaderboards, I would call hate it, but since
you can just do a little of everything and get stunned, it's not that bad.

Another bullshit mission if you try not to get hit. There is NO way to get a

That being said, ONLY go for the purple headed enemies, they don't dodge.

Don't attack anything else, unless it is dodge rush, as any kill through
this will add another 500 points through your cool kill total.

Now, try to save ammo, my runs have had ranges from 12,000 to 17,000. But
for the main strat, just keep dodging the outer perim, and capping heads as
they appear. You are going to take damage. My highest score is 60,000ish,
but you need around 40,000-45,000, so you are allowed a lot of lee-way.

I need to stress something, your damage falls so super fast, that it is
pointless to try to take out the drones or kamakazis. I did a near perfect

Mondo's Girls 4 (Seductive Vampire) (DLC)
Target: Betty
Location: Bar Counter
A.k.a: "The Lifeforcer"
BWH: 33:22:32
Height: 5'7''
Age: 256
Nationality: German
Min Conditions: Get Turned down by the beauty.
Max Conditions: Make both the heart and body of a beauty Mondo's prisoner.

(Mondo's Girls 2, which is Scarlett, are all the challenge missions above. She
doesn't get an official level in which you need to eye rape her, for her date
type mission, you'll need 1000 guts in her challenges.)

Before trying these, make sure you have enough gifts, just buy them. Then
stare at thier boobs or crotch till you can hand them a gift, and stop looking
when they notice you. As long as you don't keep on peeking at them when they
are looking back at you, you shouldn't have ANY trouble passing this.

If you pass this, you should nail the AAA rank, which I'm not entirely sure
even counts for this trophy in the first place, but like I said, you are
almost sure to get the AAA rank along with the sub weapons with any
successful completion of this mission. (To get the AAA rank, you need to
do this about 3 times to take them to bed...)

Some girls prefer different gifts, using the Spy/X-ray glasses will tell
you which, but if you are cheap, just get 4000 Guts, and unload the cheap
gifts (roses, or basically anything under 6 digits)

If you fail a mission with the glasses, they break, you can get a free pair
when you dowlload the DLC, or every 1000 guts from Scarlett. They also
boost the amount of guts you get for staring, so keep that in mind.

I'm also pretty sure the scores are all the same too, my girl eval was 5151,
and my gift from the girl was 515151, all suda 51ish. To get a gift value that
high, make sure you do the mission with moon crystals at 9999.

So lets recap, the two bonus are not to fail, and to have 9999 moon crystals.

I didn't list scores or records, as time doesn't give you anything, nor is
there a way to get damaged. If you pass you should get 520,302. If you don't
take them to bed, you'll get 515,156 for passing, and get a B rank.

The 4th mission is the DLC, and takes places in the same area as the tan
chick. THe annoying part is you need to cycle through all of them to unlock
them, which means you can make it harder to AAA rank the missions that count
(aka the non DLC missions) by getting the DLC too early.

Q: How do I do X? (Where X is anything I didn’t cover)
A: PSN me @ Vesperas, or email me at [email protected]. Remember my email
account is without a doubt monitored, so do not send anything you do not
want showbiz or feds to see.

And Remember, if you are in the Scranton/Lackawanna County Area of northeastern
PA (USA) watch out of drug addict/thiefing/coward undercover cops like Kevin
Mackaliunas, and his informants like Christopher Lee Odgen, hey, I enjoy
protecting and helping people :D

A FUn fact, this game was literally running when CI Chris Ogden and his
alleged cop buddy, Staphano Bianco robbed me. It took two snitchs with a
crowbar/brass knuckles, more than 15 minutes, to end up running away from
an unarmed and bare foot man (me). Need to give a shout out to Thomas
Bartridge, who was there with me at the time, who just stood on the floor,
crying.
