a) Author's Note & Credits

This is my third Game FAQ and the first one I wrote in English.

I write a FAQ for the game Iron Sky: Invasion, because I've had a
lot of fun playing this game through and I was really surprised that
there isn't already a FAQ on Gamefaqs or even an walkthrough on the
www.

The really reason why I bought this game - in the Götterdämmerung's
edition with the original movie on dvd, a bonus ship in-game and some
other highlights - is that I was a big fun of conspiracy theories
when I was a little bit younger. And one of these theories was that,
that the Nazis developed flying saucers in world war II and after
their defeat 1945 escaped to antarctica. However, the movie Iron Sky
and the game Iron Sky: Invasion as well, follow this story in a
black comedy styled fashion. I really entjoyed the movie as the game
as well.

Another reason for writing this walkthrough for Iron Sky: Invasion
is, that I saw a lot of "Let's play" video clips on youtube to that
game and I compared the experiences of that players with my own.
I came to the conclusion, that the practises I developed are really
useful and could bring a lot more fun and less frustration when used
during gaming Iron Sky: Invasion.

Important Remarks:
- If you want to jump to e specific position in that FAQ then mark
the number in the table of contents, click ctrl+C, click ctrl+F,
click ctrl+v and press search to come to the position you wish.
- Please check also my other FAQs!
- For questions, critical and other feedbacks write me an email. I'm
really up to make adjustments to this update, especially if there
are silly errors or something isn't understandable at all. All
messages, that will lead to an adjustment will be listed under
 "Credits".

I wish you a lot of fun with my FAQ and while gaming Iron Sky:
Invasion!

1) Introduction

In an alternate history, the Nazis not only managed to develop flying
saucers ("Reichsflugscheiben"), but also built a secret hidden base
in the antarcticas ("Neuschwabenland"), from where they launched a
space program. After the nazi defeat in world war II in 1945, they
evacuate the antarctica base and built a new base on the dark side
of the moon. There they built a "Fourth Reich" and a massive fleet
to return to earth and restart world war II - this time with a nazi
victory!

You are a veteran, american pilot and receive orders, to engage in
a story, that soon will escalate in the greatest space war in the
history in mankind until now...

Iron Sky: Invasion is one single real-time mission. Your main task
is to stop nazi forces invading earth. Invading nazi forces or
- worse - asteroids impact on earth give you a negative reputation.
Engaging nazi forces give you not only a positive reputation but
also salvage parts with that you can upgrade your ship what makes
it much easier to fulfill the main and side missions of the game!

How to restart a game
***********************************************************************

If you want to start the game completely new, without savegames and
medals, you have to go to the following path:
- hard drive, on which you've saved the game (e.g. "C:\")
- Folder "Users"
- Folder "Administrator" (or your name)
- Folder "Appdata"
- Folder "Local"
- Folder "Iron Sky"
- Now delete all files in the order Iron Sky

IMPORTANT: Deleting the game from your hard drive will not reset
it!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

3. Characters

You, a captain ot the United States Airfoce (USAF)
**************************************************
The unnamed captain (you) is the main protagonist of the game and
has a little crush on Renate Richter and nukes. He is more a
practical man that counts more on money and his camerades instead of
politics, honour and glory.

Jason ... , your superior officer and old friend
************************************************
Jason will give you your main missions at the International Space
Station (ISS). If he could choose, he would prefer fighting together
with you instead sitting in a bureau and deal with diplomats.

Obergruppenführer Admiral Wilhelm Kreutz, leader of the nazi fleet
******************************************************************
He is a Obergruppenführer (***-General of the SS) and Admiral of
the nazi fleet. He is in this game your enemy and main
antagonist and is always near to any bigger battle. He has a lot of
wisdom from his grandfather, who was a big idol for him.

Renate Richter, advisor of the US President and former Nazi
***********************************************************
She gives you your first (and last) diplomatic mission and than
some smaller missions when you have to escort her to the moon. She
is a little bit naive and more a theoretical than a practical thinker.
Escorting her safely to the moon gives you a medal! (1/30)

Madam President, President of the United States of America
**********************************************************
She gives you her personal side missions at the ISS. She is primarily
interested in her career and how she could profit from the crisis.
But she is also your boss and de-facto leader of the Earth Alliance.
Fulfilling all 6 side missions for her gives you a medal! (2/30)

Mr. Sharma, representative of India
***********************************
He gives you the indian side missions at the New World Order
(NWO) Space Station. He is very polite and very interested in the
movie industry of his country. Fulfilling all 9 side missions for him
gives you a medal! (3/30)

Vladimir Zhiryanov, russian military attaché
********************************************
He gives you the russian side missions at the Korean Space Station.
It seems that he has a little bit a problem with alcohol (or without?)
and although he doesn't tell it directly, his side missions have
always a hidden benefit for Russia. Fulfilling all 5 side missions for
him gives you a medal! (4/30)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

4) Spacecrafts

***********************************************************************
Allied Spacecrafts
***********************************************************************

Dundee                                                   Rating: *****
------

The Dundee is an australian light bomber/fighter bomber. The name
comes from the popular parts of australian history (Crocodile
Dundee?!). The dundee can open itself like the comb of a reptile and
shoot deadly plasma shots like a spitting cobra shoots its venom
drops. The second weapon of the Dundee are heavy rockets. Later, the
Dundee reveives the same mini gun, the british heavy fighter
Spitfire has.

Three Dundee bombers take part in the "Mir Fleet" which also
consists of the Mir Spacestation, the Spitfire and the Canadarm.

The Dundee is the first armed and the primary spaceship of the
Captain.  The Dundee is the best spacecraft of the game, because it
is a real allrounder. At the beginning, it is weaker than the
Spitfire and more useful against harder targets like Haunebu IVs or
Zeppelins, but after it receives the mini gun, it is also a good
deal against smaller crafts like Rheingolds and Valkyries. At this
point, it is because of better manoeuvrability even better then the
Spitfire, and completely upgraded it is unchallenged the best
spacecraft.

Fully upgrading the Dundee bomber gives you a medal! (5/30)

Specifications (and upgrade maximum):
Hull - 150 Hit points
Shields - 150 (300) Hit points
Engines (Speed/Energy) - 9/150 (13/300)
Scanner (Range in km) - 50'000 (100'000)
Countermeasures - 5 (20)
Primary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Plasma Gun 25/10 (45/30)
secondary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Heavy Missiles 300/8 (500/16)
Tertiary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Mini Gun 15/50 (30/100)

Spitfire                                                 Rating: *****
--------
The Spitfire is a british heavy fighter. Its name comes from the
famous british world war II plane, which looks quite similiar. The
Spitfire is armed with a mini gun and unlimited heavy missiles.

The Spitfire take part in the "Mir Fleet" which also
consists of the Mir Spacestation, the Canadarm and three Dundees.

The Spitfire is playable in the mission to escort Renate Richter
from the earth to the moon.

The Spitfire is the third armed spaceship of the captain and - until
the Dundee receives the mini gun - the best spaceship in the game.
Like the Dundee it is an allrounder, that can attack smaller crafts
with its mini gun and heavier targets with its - unlimited! -
heavy missiles. The manoeuvrability of the Spitfire is less good
than that of the Dundee or the Zerg, but because it is fully upgraded
it has generally better values than the Dundee at this moment and
its unlimited heavy missiles are a real advantage.

Acquiring the Spitfire gives you a medal! (6/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 250 Hit points
Shields - 200
Engines (Speed/Energy) - 11/200
Scanner (Range in km) - 100'000
Countermeasures - 5
Primary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Mini Gun 20/100 (called "Laser")
secondary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Heavy Missiles 500/8

Katar                                                    Rating: ****
-----
The Katar is an indian ship, probably a heavy fighter. Its name comes
from the Katar, a characteristic indian dagger and it is shaped
similiar. The Kater is armed with a Plasma Gun and guided missiles.

The Katar builds like the Captain and the George W. Bush its own
"squadron".

The Katar is only playable, if you have the bonus code of the
"Götterdämmerungs Edition". Because the guided missiles of the
Katar are unlimited and it is completely upgraded, it is quite better
at the Zerg. Later, when the Zerg is completely upgraded, it is
less effective because of its weaker manoeuvrability. But at this
moment, fighters are no longer in demand because allrounders are
needed.

Specifications:
Hull - 200 Hit points
Shields - 300
Engines (Speed/Energy) - 11/150
Scanner (Range in km) - 100'000
Countermeasures - 5
Primary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Plasma Gun 30/20
Secondary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Guided Missiles 130/8 (called
                                                          "Laser")

Zerg                                                     Rating: ****
----
The Zerg or Xerg is a south korean light fighter and named after the
alien race in the game Starcraft, which is very popular in South
Korea. The Xerg is armed with a Laser Gun and guided missiles.
Later, the Xerg reveives the cluster missiles from the Canadarm.

Three Zerg fighters build together with two japanese Banzai heavy
fighters the "Fighter Squadron".

If you don't have the Katar playable, then the Zerg is - until
the Dundee receives the mini gun - the best spacecraft against
enemy fighters and also heavy targets if there are few of them. But
after the Dundee receives the Mini Gun and the enemy squadrons
consists of many heavy targets, the Dundee is the better choice.
Compared to the Katar, it is at the beginning because of its -
unupgraded values - lesser effective. But as soon as it is fully
upgraded, it is better because of its manoeuvrability and speed.

Completely upgraded, the Zerg is the fastest spacecraft you can play.

Acquiring the Zerg and fully upgrading the Zerg gives you two medals!
(7/30 & 8/30)

Specifications (and upgrade maximum):
Hull - 100 Hit points
Shields - 100 (200) Hit points
Engines (Speed/Energy) - 11/100 (15/200)
Scanner (Range in km) - 50'000 (100'000)
Countermeasures - 5 (20)
Primary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Laser Gun 15/30 (30/50)
secondary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Guided Missiles 110/8 (250/16)
Tertiary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Cluster Missiles 100/12 (200/24)

Banzai                                                   Rating: ***
------
The Banzai is a japanese heavy fighter named after the japanese
war cry "Tenno Heika Banzai" which means "Long live the Emperor".
The Banzai is quite similar armed like the Katar, but its Plasma
Gun is much more powerful as well as its guided missile, but because
they are limited to 8, this advantage is less useful.

Two japanese Banzai fighters build together with three Zerg
light fighters the "Fighter Squadron".

The Banzai is playable only in the last russian side mission.
It has very strong hull and shield values, but because of its
less good manoeuvrability, this spacecraft isn't very effective
against many light enemies as well as against strong enemies.

You will notice the difference, when you fight one of the last
nazi squadrons once with the Dundee and once with the Banzai!

The Banzai is the only spacecraft, that is playable, an ally of you
and also an enemy in one US side mission.

Acquiring the Banzai gives you a medal! (9/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 400 Hit points
Shields - 500 Hit points
Engines (Speed/Energy) - 11/300
Scanner (Range in km) - 100'000
Countermeasures - 5
Primary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Plasma Gun 50/50
secondary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Guided Missiles 250/8

Canadarm                                               Rating: **
--------
The Canadarm is a canadian heavy bomber. Its name comes from the
two words "Canada" and "Arm" for weapon. The Canadarm is armed
with a Plasma Gun, Cluster Missiles and Nuclear missiles. Its
Plasma Gun is the same that the Katar has.

The Canadarm takes part in the "Mir Fleet" which also
consists of the Mir Spacestation, the Spitfire and three Dundees.

The Canadarm is playable only in the mission to destroy the three
asteroids in the "Meteor Blitzkrieg". Its hull and shields are
as strong as that of the Banzai, but its manoeuvrability is so bad,
that without protection through fighters it will soon be destroyed
through faster enemies. Against a few enemies, the Canadarm can
protect itself with the Cluster Missiles. The nukes are only
useful against very large targets like Asteroids or Brünnhildes.

The Canadarm makes fun for very few, specific missions, but it isn't
effective for most of the missions.

Acquiring the Canadarm gives you a medal! (10/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 400 Hit points
Shields - 500 Hit points
Engines (Speed/Energy) - 13/300
Scanner (Range in km) - 100'000
Countermeasures - 5
Primary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Plasma Gun 30/20
secondary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Cluster Missiles 400/16
Tertiary weapon (Damage/Quantity) - Nukes 10'000/3

Rogue                                                    Rating: *
-----

The Rogue is a - probably US - reconnaissance craft and the ship
Captain ... (you) is designated to first. After the arrival of the
Nazi battleship Biterolf near the earth, US officials see it as to
risky for the Captain, to fly his reconnaissance missions with an
aircraft which has no shield and weapons. So the US government
charters the Dundee, an australian craft.

The Rogue appears only in the Tutorial mission at the beginning and
then has - after the russian Banzai side mission - the purpose to
transport the Captain from the New World Order station to the
Korea station.

Because this spacecraft has no weapons, its useless against
enemies and has - as mentioned above - only transport functions.

Specifications (and upgrade maximum):
Hull - 150 Hit points
Shields - n/a
Engines (Speed/Energy) - 11/150
Scanner (Range in km) - 50'000 (100'000)
Countermeasures - n/a
Primary weapon - n/a
secondary weapon - n/a

George W. Bush                                           not playable
--------------

The George W. Bush is a US space frigate* named after the 43rd
US President. It is armed with particle guns and missiles.

To cover the military purpose of the George W. Bush it was
originally designated as "Mars Explorer".

The George W. Bush builds like the Captain and the Katar its own
"squadron".¨

The George W. Bush supplies the captain often with ammunition
containers and is the first "squadron" that helps you fighting
incoming enemy ships.

Specifications:
Hull - 1'000 Hit points
Shields - 1'000 Hit points
Speed - Medium
Countermeasures - Yes
Weapons - Particle Cannons, Missiles

*Probably it's a space frigate, because it is bigger than a
fighter and a bomber but not as big as a destroyer, cruiser
or battleship.

Mir                                                      not playable
---

The Mir is a russian space station, which was transformed in to
a space cruiser*. The word "Mir" means "peace" or "world". The
Mir is armed with a particle cannon.

The Mir was launched as a space station in the year 1986. In the
year 2001 it was - officially - deorbited and destroyed over the
south pacific. In reality, the Mir was transformed into a
secret armed cruiser.

The Mir takes part and leads the "Mir Fleet" which also
consists of the Spitfire, the Canadarm and three Dundees.

The Mir supplies the captain often with ammunition
containers and is the second "squadron" that helps you fighting
incoming enemy ships. The Mir fleet takes part in every
Zeppelin battle.

Specifications:
Hull - 3'000 Hit points
Shields - 2'000 Hit Points
Speed - Medium
Countermeasures - Yes
Weapons - Particle Cannon

*The hull and shields of the Mir are much stronger than that of the
George W. Bush, so the Mir is probably no space frigate. For a
destroyer it is a little bit to small, so I suggest it is a
(light) space cruiser.

Russian Military Satellite                               not playable
--------------------------

The four russian military satellite are your enemy until you've
conquered them. Then they provide you not only with a clear sight
over the battlefield but also give you ammunition containers when
you run out of missiles.

Specifications:
Hull - 2'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - N/A
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - Mini Gun (probably destroyed)

***********************************************************************
Weapons
***********************************************************************

Laser Gun
Ship: Zerg
Damage: 15-30
Energy: 30-50
Fire rate: High
Speed: Fast

The Laser Gun appears only for the Zerg. It is a really good weapon
for shooting down enemies with light armors like fighters or weapons
and engines of bigger ships. You use the Laser Gun almost at the
beginning of the game because it is more effective than the
Plasma Gun.

Plasma Gun
Ships: Dundee, Katar, Canadarm, Banzai
Damage: 25-50
Energy: 10-50
Fire rate: High
Speed: Slow

The Plasma Gun seems to be the standard weapon of the allied fleet.
I'm just wondering why... It's fire rate is lower and the speed of
the projectiles is slower than that of the Laser gun and it makes
only a little bit more damage. Will say: You have to use the
Plasma Gun only if you have to, means there is no better option.

Mini Gun
Ships: Dundee, Spitfire
Damage: 15-30
Ammunition: 50-100
Fire rate: Very high
Speed: Very fast

The mini gun is the best weapon of the game, because you can
not only use it against fighters but also against bigger
targets. It has the damage rate of a Laser, but its very high
fire rate makes it really deadly. Receiving it for the Dundee
makes that ship your standard spacecraft.

Heavy Missiles
Ships: Dundee, Spitfire
Damage: 300-500
Missiles: 8-16 (Dundee) or unlimited (Spitfire)
Fire rate: Slow
Speed: Medium

There isn't much to say: The heavy missiles are your standard
weapons to destroy bigger enemy targets. They have only limited
guiding abilities, so you have to target the enemy long enough
to hit it.

Guided Missiles
Ships: Zerg, Katar, Banzai
Damage: 110-250
Missiles: 8-16 or unlimited (Katar)
Fire rate: Slow
Speed: Medium

The advantage of the guided missiles compared with heavy
missiles is that they are guided. The disadvantage is, that
many enemies have countermeasures, so the guided missiles
will work only against valkyries, Alberichs and Wotans.
The Mini Gun is the better choice: It has a faster fire
rate, is unlimited and there are no countermeasures
against. You need the guided missiles, because of their range
to take out the Guns of the russian military satellites.
At the beginning, they are also useful because they are
faster then the plasma gun and because you at this moment
don't have the Mini Gun.

Cluster Missiles
Ships: Zerg, Canadarm
Damage: 100-400
Missiles: 12-24 (3-6 salves)
Fire rate: Medium
Speed: Fast

The cluster missiles consists of salves each counting 4 missiles.
They can't be targetet on the enemy but searching their target
by themself. In the game, I found this weapon not as useful
because I only use the Canadarm because of its nukes and the
Zerg only at the beginning of the game, when they aren't any
Cluster missiles available.

Nuclear Missiles
Ships: Canadarm
Damage: 10'000
Missiles: 3
Fire rate: Very slow
Speed: Slow

The nuclear missiles are only useful to destroy targets that can't
be destroyed by other weapons, meaning heavy missiles or mini gun.
So you will use the nukes only against the three asteroids in the
Meteor Blitzkrieg campaign.

Military Drones
---------------
Quantity: >18

The military drones come in two different version. The one that you
have to fight in the Tutorial have 10 Hit points. The other
drones you encounter - in the 4th US side mission and in the
9th indian side mission - have 50 Hit points. They are very easy
to destroy either with the Plasma Gun or a laser.

Specifications:
Hull - 10 or 50 Hit points

Old Military Satellite
--------------------------

The old military satellite is a US satellite that you have to
destroy in the second tutorial mission.

Specifications:
Hull - 500 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - N/A
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - None

Russian Military Satellite
--------------------------
Quantity: 4

The four russian military satellites are programmed to destroy
everything that comes near to them. They are relicts of the
cold war and times when russia was known as soviet union.
Because they have to be captured intact, you have to be sure
to only destroy their weapon. For this, fly as close to the
satellite as you must to target the weapon with your guided
missiles (about 2.2 km). Beware: At 2 km you are in range of
their deadly Mini Gun! Then stop your spacecraft and shot
one-by-one missile until the weapon is destroyed.

Specifications:
Hull - 2'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - N/A
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - Mini Gun (100 Hit Points)

US TV Satellite
--------------------------

The US TV satellite is in fact a fake, started by the nazis
to disinform the earth population. You have to destroy it in
the third US side mission.

Specifications:
Hull - 1'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - N/A
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - None

Propaganda Satellite
--------------------------

The propaganda satellite is a civilian satellite that
will bring negative news about the US madam president online.
And so, you have to destroy it in US side mission 4.

Specifications:
Hull - 1'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - N/A
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - None

Nazi TV Satellite
--------------------------

The Nazi satellite disturbs the indian broadcasting program.
So you have to destroy it in the fith indian side mission.

Specifications:
Hull - 1'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - N/A
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - None

Pakistan Satellite
--------------------------

According to the indian representative, the Pakistan
Satellite is salvage that is disturbing indian broadcasting
program. As you confront the indian representative with
the information, that the salvage was in fact a Pakistani
satellite, he quickly turns himself out of the affair...

Specifications:
Hull - 1'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - N/A
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - None

Banzai
------
Quantity: 2

Two rogue Banzai pilots - either japanese that spoke russian or
russians that have infiltrated the japanese ships - want to destroy
a US satellite. You've to stop them. Just shot at them, they are
relatively easy to destroy.

Specifications:
Hull - 300 Hit points
Shields - 500 Hit points
Speed  - Fast
Countermeasures - Yes
weapons - Plasma Gun, Guided Missiles

Rheingold
---------
Reconnaissance Spacecraft
Quantity: >172

The Rheingold's are for many reasons the main spacecraft of
the Nazi fleet. If you consider, that there exist two
versions of the Valkyrie, the Rheingold is that spacecraft,
that exists the most. It is very fast, but less armored.
Rheingolds are - even in great numbers - no threat for your
spacecraft. But, because of their speed, they can outrun you
and costs you lot of time to destroy them. So a good tactic
to engage Rheingolds is, to fly from a distance to the
Rheingold squadron and shoot fast one by one down. Then fly
again away from them, and shoot again them down. Last but
not least, the Rheingolds have countermeasures, so don't
try to attack them with guided missiles.

Destroying 100 of them gives you a medal! (11/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 100 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - Fast
Countermeasures - Yes
Weapons - Laser

Valkyrie / Valkyrie II
----------------------
Fighter Spacecraft
Quantity: >337

The valkyrie's main purpose is to attack enemy spacecrafts and
it was constructed as a cheaper version as the Haunebu IV.
It is better armored and armed than the Rheingold, but
less fast. They are a real gunfooder, so the Nazis built
a better armored version of the Valkyrie named Valkyrie II.
Unfortunately for the Nazis, this improvement comes to late
and in to less numbers. Because the Valkyries I and II have
no countermeasures they can be easily destroyed with guided
missiles.

Destroying 300 of them gives you a medal! (12/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 100 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - Fast
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - Laser, heavy missiles

Haunebu IV
----------
Assault Ship
Quantity: >29

The Haunebu IV is the fourth version of the famous Haunebu,
the first Nazi flying saucer. The Haunebu IV has a very strong
Hull and countermeasures. Weak points are the engines and the
down side. The Nazis use the Haunebu IV as flying tanks to storm
enemy positions or to transport storm troopers to capture key
positions. To destroy the Haunebu IVs, destroy their engines
and shoot with rockets or the mini gun on the downside.

Destroying 20 of them gives you a medal! (13/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 1'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - Slow
Countermeasures - Yes
Weapons - Laser, guided missiles

Alberich
--------
Heavy Fighter
Quantity: >106

The Alberich was developped to fill the gap of weakness of the
Rheingold and the Valkyrie (Armor/Weapons) and the
Haunebu IV (Speed). It was constructed against ships which are
to strong for the Rheingold/Valkyries but to fast for the
Haunebu Ivs. Alberichs have a good standard weapon, are fast and
have a good armor.

The best chance to destroy Alberichs without taking a lot of
damage is speed. Shoot guided rockets to them from a distance
and give them the rest with Laser or Plasma Gun or shoot them
down with a mini gun from a distance.

Destroying 50 of them gives you a medal! (14/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 400 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - Medium
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - Laser

Wotan
-----
Super-heavy fighter
Quantity: >70

The Wotan is a better version of the Alberich and your most
dangerous enemy in that game! It was built for ships, that
couldnt be destroyed by the Alberichs. The Wotan has a strong hull,
strong weapons and is relatively fast. You can shoot a whole
load of missiles on them and they are still flying. The best
change is to attack them with the same strategy as the
Alberichs, than fly away from them with the booster and then
return to finish them.

Destroying 20 of them gives you a medal! (15/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 800 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - Medium
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - Heavy Laser or Mini Gun

Brunnhilde
----------
Asteroid/Helium3 Haulier
Quantity: >18

Brünnhilde are designed to haul asteroids or other cargo loads.
There weapons are weak and they are easy to destroy. Shoot the
two gun turrets out and they can be destroyed by steady fire with
every weapon.

Destroying 10 of them gives you a medal! (16/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 1'500 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - Slow
Countermeasures - Yes
Weapons - Laser turrets, Asteroid

Zeppelin
--------
Siegfried-class battleships/carriers
Quantity: 6, Biterolf, Heinrich, Hermann, Wolfram, Tannhäuser, Walther

The Zeppelin fleet was constructed as a task force to fulfill a
couple of tasks on the same time: 1. attack the earth with asteroids
as weapon of mass destructions, 2. carry Valkyries to destroy
spaceships that can't be destroyed by the Zeppelins heavy missiles or
the Laser turrets. To destroy the Zeppelins, you have to destroy
all Valkyries that the Zeppelin starts to force him to open his
hangar doors and unleash more Valkyries. Now take the opportunity
to fire heavy missiles in the hangar to destroy the Zeppelin. If there
are more than 1 Zeppelin, than it makes sense to destroy the engines
of the Zeppelins, that they are close together. Than it is easier,
to find the Zeppelin that actually has the hangar open.

Destroying each of them gives you a medal! (17-22/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 10'000 Hit points (Biterolf 5'000, Heinrich/Hermann 8'000)
Shields - None
Speed - Slow
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - Laser turrets, heavy missiles, Asteroid

Hunding
-------
Destroyer/Admiral Kreutz's Flagship
Quantity: >15

The Hundings that have a size almost of half of the Zeppelin where
designed to provide command ships for the staff personnel of the
nazi fleet and to contribute additional firepower to nazi fleets.
The best way to take out the Hundings, is to destroy their
engines, then their weapons and then shoot at them until they
explode. Be aware of their missiles - they have both guided
and heavy missiles.

Destroying 10 of them gives you a medal! (23/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 3'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - Slow
Countermeasures - Yes
Weapons - Laser turrets, guided missiles, heavy missiles

Asteroid (small)
----------------
Weapon of Mass destruction (City destroyer)
Quantity: >30

Asteroids are transported with either Brunnhilde asteroid huilers or
Zeppelins. If they are close enough to earth, they will be unleashed
to destroy complete cities with one strike. They have no weapons or
countermeasures, but their own engines. Destroy them by steady fire
on them with Laser/Plasma Gun/Mini Gun or rockets.

Specifications:
Hull - 5'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - Slow
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - None

Asteroid (big)
--------------
Weapon of Mass destruction (Region destroyer)
Quantity: 3

The three big asteroids that are used in the Nazi
"Meteor Blitzkrieg" campaign, have to destroy whole regions to
weak the Earths defense systems and then overrun them with ground
troops. They not only have their own engines but also are armed.
This Asteroids can only be destroyed with nuclear missiles.

Destroying all three of them gives you a medal! (24/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 10'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - Slow
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - Laser turrets

Überasteroid (Size of Texas)
----------------------------
Weapon of Mass destruction (World destroyer)
Quantity: 1

Desperate in their attempt to launch an invasion on the earth,
the Nazis decide - after their last attempt to invade the
earth fails - to kill most of the humans and then invade. For
that purpose they launched the "Überasteroid" or "Superasteroid".
Like the big asteroids it has got his own engines and is armed
with laser and missile turrets. The Überasteroid can't destroyed
by nuclear missiles or any other weapon available. But wasn't
there a 1990's sci-fi movie about how to destroy an asteroid
which is approaching earth?!

Destroying it gives you a medal! (25/30)

Specifications:
Hull - 100'000 Hit points
Shields - None
Speed - Slow
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - Laser turrets, heavy missiles

Götterdämmerung (aka Helium 3 reactor)
--------------------------------------
Super-Dreadnought battleship
Quantity: 1

The Götterdämmerung is the second doomsday weapon the Nazis
invented besides the "Überasteroid". It's like a very, very,
very big flying saucer with hulls that are undestructable
even for nuclear missiles and a firepower to destroy every
target, beginning from small spacecrafts to whole planets.

The Götterdämmerung can't be destroyed directly. The only
way to take her out is to destroy her Helium 3 reactor.
The only problem is: The helium 3 reactor is INSIDE the
Götterdämmerung...

Destroying it gives you a medal! (26/30)

Specifications:
Hull - "too much for you" Hit points
Shields - None, but with undestructable hulls
Speed - Slow
Countermeasures - None
Weapons - Laser turrets, heavy missiles, 2 Super Cannons

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

5) Money, Salvage & Upgrades

In Iron Sky: Invasion you can earn money by destroying zeppelins,
doing side missions or selling salvage parts. You can use the money
for one purpose only, to upgrade your ships. Early and planned
upgrades make the game really much easier - believe me.

Herewith I give you a calculation, how much upgrading the ship costs
(always considering the 20% discount at the ISS after the second
US side mission) and how much money you can earning from just
"collecting medals".

Upgrading Zerg - 3'384'000
Upgrading Dundee - 3'384'000
Upgrading Rogue - 248'000 (not really necessary)
Total costs - 7'016'000

Collecting 500 salvage parts - 5'000'000
Destroyin all zeppelins - 600'000
US side missions - 60'000
Russian side missions - 1'500'000
Indian side missions - 950'000
Total Income - 8'110'000

You see, if you want to upgrade the Zerg and the Dundee, you have to
do something, so follow the 3 golden rules.

They are:
- Do the side missions as soon as they are available. This can be
secured to fly to the ISS (US side missions) and to the NWO (indian
side missions) very often. The first four side missions of the
Russians at the Korea don't provide you with money, but with
satellites that give you a view on the battlefield and ammunition
 containers.
- Collect salvage parts and sell them always for $10.000.
- Always do upgrades at the ISS and after the second US side missions,
because you then have a discount of 20%

Destroying zeppelins, doing side missions, collecting salvage parts
and upgrading your ships have also the positive side effect to give
you medals, 6 for the zeppelins, 3 for the side missions, 2 for the
salvage parts and 2 for upgrading Dundee and Zerg. This makes 13
medals out of 30!

Collecting 100 salvage parts gives the first, collecting 500 salvage
parts the second medal (27/30 & 28/30)

Last but not least, I give you an overview what in detail you can
upgrade at the Dundee, the Zerg and the Rogue and what the effects
are:

6) General HInts

- Play tutorial carefully (repeat if necessary to get practise and 2
 medals!) (29/30 & 30/30)
- See cut scenes in Pause mode (Map=>Mission Log=>Mission=>Video)
- Collect salvage and sell it only for $ 10.000, make upgrades only
at the ISS after the second US side mission for 20% discount
- The game saves automatically, in a larger battle you better leave
from time to time and fly to a space station to repair and save
- If you're overrun by enemy fleets, shoot the engines of one single
enemy spaceship (Haunebu IV, Hunding, Brunnhilde) completely away.
The entire squadron will now be stranded in space.

7) Walkthrough

Tutorial

Medals to earn: 2 Tutorial medals

The tutorial consists of 2 parts, the first is how to fly and the
second is how to fight.

The first part fully explains itself. In the second part you
should concentrate your fire with X. Then as you approach the
drone launcher, you need the tabs W and R and your mouse. As soon
as you see the drones press right mouse click to choose a target.
Then fire on it with left mouse click, as soon as it is destroyed,
select the next target with right mouse click and so on. If there
aren't anymore drones in your sight, press R and turn around to
destroy this drone as well.

If you're practised, you should destroy all drones in 15 seconds.
Once I made it in 11 seconds. But to receive the second medal for
the tutorial, its enough to destroy all 6 drones in less than
30 seconds. If you don't make it in time, just quit the game
and proceed the tutorial until you've done it. After the
destruction of the drones, you should destroy the old military
satellite with your missiles. Again concentrate them with X
and shoot at the satellite. Now return to the ISS, sell the
salvage part you've collected and undock. You receive another
medal for finishing the Tutorial. The remaining 28 medals you
find in the main game, which starts with:

Chapter I

Medals to earn: Zeppelin Biterolf medal, Zerg medal, 100 Salvage
parts medal

You receive the order, to fly to the Zeppelin Biterolf to open peace
negotiations with the Commander of the approaching nazi fleet, Admiral
Wilhelm Kreutz. Unfortunately, Kreutz isn't very cooperative and
immediately starts an attack, so you receive order, to return to
the ISS.

Your next order is, to fly to the space station of South Korea (called
"Korea" henceforth in this Walkthrough) and protect it from a Nazi
attack originated from the Biterolf. Before you fly to the Korea,
concentrate your plasma gun with x to 2-shot and your heavy missiles
to 3-shot. At the Korea, you'll meet 3 Valkyries and 2 Haunebu Ivs.</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
First, shoot down the Valkyries. Denn change your weapon and shoot with
your weapons in the Engine and then at the downside of the Haunebus.
If advices come, that you have to change energy to shields or
engines, please do so (for the reason, see below).

Collect all salvage, especialliy that one which appears after the
engines are destroyed. Please ensure, that you didn't sell the
salvage until its written otherwise in this walkthrough!

The appearing mission briefing you are clicking away with N, then you
fly to the ISS, click away the second mission briefing and then fly
immediately to the George W. Bush, which should be between the earth
and the ISS and heading to a enemy fighter squadron. If you arrive
at the Bush, you can go in the Map and look the 2 video clips missed
(the first is the end of the Korea mission, the second the beginning
of the first US side mission. in which you have to film the George
W. BUsh. (This whole action hast to happen fast, because if you're
too late, the Bush is engaging a squadron and you've less Valkyries
to shoot down! For some reason, the first US Mission will not
appear sometimes, maybe because you've not followed the orders
for transferring energy to shield oder engines?! If this happens,
restart the whole game and try again. You dont have to see all the
cutscnenes again, you can click them away with N.)

As you heared from the two video clips, the Koreans give you one of
their space ships, the Zerg light space fighter and that you have
to film the USS George W. Bush in battle action. To film the George
W. Bush, move close to the spaceship until the recorder begins to
count. As soon as the countdown is over, you receive $ 5.000 for
the successfull ending of the mission. If that happened, shoot the
4 attacking Valkyrie down.

If you check now your Mission Log, you see that you've still 3
squadrons à 6 Valkyries to shoot down.

>If you have got the Götterdämmerungs edition and/or the bonus
code for the Katar, proceed with the part ***** below!<

Before you engage them, fly to the Korea and change to the Zerg
figther . If you've done that, concentrate the shoot mode with X
to 4-shot and for the guided missiles to 2-shot. Now fly to a
Valkyrie squadron an shoot the enemys with your missiles down -
1 shot for 1 spacecraft is enough. Now fly to the G.W. Bush and
shoot the next Valkyrie squadron. If you haven't anymore missiles,
the George W. Bush will drop an ammunition container. But if the
George W. Bush isn't close to you, then you can also use your
very effective laser. If all three Valkyrie sqadrons are
eliminated, you receive 2 new missions, the first is to engage
3 squadrons à 4 Rheingold reconnaissance spaceships and
2 squadrons à 2 Haunebu IV assault ships. But first collect
ammunition from the George W. Bush.

But first, fly to the ISS, where you receive the second US side
mission, to deliver 10 salvage parts to the ISS. You fly to the
three Rheingold squadrons and eliminate them with your laser.
Please notice, that the Rheingolds have countermeasures so your
guided missiles will not hit them! If all Rheingolds are
destroyed you can fly to the New World Order Space Station (NWO),
where you receive your first Indian side mission. In that
mission, you have to protect an Indian satellite. Fly to the
attacking squadron which consists of 5 Valkyries and 4 Rheingolds.
Shoot the Valkyries down with your missiles and the Rheingolds
with your lasers. After the task is fulfilled, you receive
$ 40.000.

Now, fly again to the NWO, where you receive your second side
mission for India. Now you have to rescue an Indian director.
The enemy squadron consists again of 5 Valkyries and 4 Rheingolds
and a fith Rheingold in which the director is hold captive.
NOT shoot down the director, or the mission is failed! After
you destroyed all space ships, fly with your booster as close
to the director as you can and after a few seconds you've
liberated him. For this mission, you receive $ 80.000.

Now fly to the Korea and change to the Dundee bomber. Now you
have to destroy the Haunebu IV squadrons. Use the same tactic
as before, shoot missiles to the engines and then to the
downside of the spacecrafts. Collect ALL salvages!

After the destruction of the two Haunebu IV squadrons, you'll
receive order to fly to the ISS. But before you do that, you fly
to the Korea with the Dundee and sell all salvage parts. Now
change to the Zerg but NOT SELL the salvage parts. Now you
return to the ISS with the Zerg. There you receive the mission,
to attack the battleship Biterolf - maybe you'll remember it
from the mission "Peace Negotiations". Now you sell all salvage
parts from the Zerg. If you undock from the ISS, the US Madam
President informs you, that you have 20% discount for upgrading
at the ISS. Now redock at the ISS and upgrade missiles two times
and the shields and lasers one time. If you have enough money
you can upgrade the shields a second time or at least the
lasers a second time. If not, dont give money for Scanner or
Countermeasures at this time.

Now fly to the Zeppelin Biterolf, where the Mir fleet is
already battling the Nazis. First destroy all engines. If that
is done, shoot down Valkyrie until the hangar doors open. Now
you fire your missiles into the hangars. You return that
procedure until the Zeppelin explodes. To secure, that the
missiles fly into the Hangar, press 1 to have no target
activated.

For the destruction of the Zeppelin you receive $ 100.000 and
the message, that the Nazis launched a counter offensive as
following:

                          RG    RG
       x
                        AV   AV     H      A     (A)
Earth                       Br       H     A     (A)   Moon
                        AV   AV     H      A     (A)
       y
                          RG    RG

Legend:
RG = 8 Rheingold per each
AV = 2 Alberich, 4 Valkyries per each
Br = 1 Brünnhilde, 1 Asteroid, 6 Valkyries per each
H = 2 Haunebus IV per each
A = 1 Brünnhilde, 1 Asteroid, 3 Valkyries, 1 Wotan and
2 Rheingold per each

Before you engage the counteroffensive, destroy the
remaining Valkyries from the Zeppelin - the asteroid should've
already been destroyed by your allies. Secure, that you've
full missiles by collecting an ammunition container.

First fly near a AW squadron and wait, which two squadrons the
Mir fleet and the G. W. Bush are attacking. If that
is clear, attack another AW squadron, fire two times (2+2=4
missiles) at the Alberich and after destroy it with your
lasers. Do the same again with the other Alberich, The
remaining 4 valkyries you can destroy with your guided missiles
and if they ran out then with your lasers. Now fly to either
the G.W. Bush or the Mir fleet and collect an ammunition
container. Now fly to another AW squadron and do the same
same procedure again as you did with the other one.

Now you should attack the RG squadrons by flying to the
position x and then y and then again x, then y, so on. Please
notice, that the RG squadrons will hide in the "fog of the war".

After the RGs are destroyed engage the Br squadron and shoot
the 3 engines with your lasers and now fly away. The squadron
is now stranded. Maybe you should do this earlier, when the
Br comes to close to the earth.

Now there should only be the stranded Br squadron and the 2 AWs
which are attacked by your allies and 3 slow incoming H and A
squadrons on the map. First fly to either the G.W. Bush or
the Mir fleet to rearm. Then go to the Korea (the appearing
mission briefing of the russian represantive you click with N
away and watch it in the Mission Log!) and after that to the
ISS where you do the same. From Russia you receive the
mission to capture the first of totally 4 old soviet military
satellites and from the US Madam President the third US side
mission, to destroy an enemy propaganda satellite.

Now fly to the propaganda satellite and destroy it with your
missiles. You receive $ 10.000 for that. Now fly to the russian
satellite. Even if the russian represantive says, that the Nazis
will reconquer the satellite if it has no weapons, this in fact
will not happen. So go slowly to the satellite and as soon the
weapon is in target, shoot one-by-one missile to its weapon
until it's destroyed and then fly to the satellite and wait
until it is captured. Now should your missiles nowwhere until
they are empty. Take the ammunition container of the russian
satellite.

As next return to the ISS where you receive the fourth US
side mission, to destroy a civilian (!) US satellite. This
satellite is protected by 6 drones. After the drones and the
satellite are destroyed, you receive again $ 10.000.

Now fly to the NWO, where you receive the 3rd Indian mission,
which is to look for an american movie crew. If you arrive at
the position, collect fast the salvage parts and the ammunition
container. Now fly again to the NWO. Now you should deliver 20
salvage parts to the NWO (4rd Indian side mission). You
should've already collected them and now just have to sell it
to the NWO. After you selling the parts, fly to the Korea
where you change to the Dundee Bomber and fly to the ISS. Now
you upgrade your Dundee as following: Heavy missiles two times,
Engines and Plasma Gun 1 time. If you still have money grade
the shields one time up and - if possible - the Plasma Gun a
second time. If not, dont give money for Scanner or
Countermeasures at this time.

The last you have to do in that chapter is to destroy the
3 Haunebu IV squadrons, the stranded Brunnhilde squadron and
the three incoming "Asteroid squadrons". You'll receive help
from the G.W. Bush and the Mir fleet.

After you've fulfill your task, fly to the ISS to end the
chapter.

(Proceed with Chapter II)

*****
Before you engage them, fly to the New World Order Station
(NWO), where you receive your first Indian side mission.
Click the clip away and look at it in the Mission Log.
In that mission, you have to protect an Indian satellite.
Dock at the station and change to the Katar. Now fly first
to the 2 Valkyrie squadrons that are approaching earth
(1 squadron is hold by the G. W. Bush) and shoot them
down with your unlimited guided missiles. Concentrate your
Plasma Gun and Guided Missiles with X. When the two
Valkyrie squadrons are eliminated fly to the squadron that
attacks the indian satellite which consists of 5 Valkyries
and 4 Rheingolds. Shoot the Valkyries down with your
missiles and the Rheingolds with your plasma gun. Please
notice, that the Rheingolds have countermeasures so your
guided missiles will not hit them! After the task is
fulfilled, you receive $40.000.

Now fly to the third Valkyrie squadron and help the G.W.
Bush destroying it. If all three Valkyries sqadrons are
eliminated, you receive 2 new missions, the first is to
engage 3 squadrons à 4 Rheingold reconnaissance spaceships
and 2 squadrons à 2 Haunebu IV assault ships.

But first, fly to the ISS, where you receive the second US side
mission, to deliver 10 salvage parts to the ISS. You fly to the
three Rheingold squadrons and eliminate them with your plasma
gun. If all Rheingolds are destroyed you can fly to the New
World Order Space Station (NWO), where you receive your second
Indian side mission.

Now fly to the NWO and change to the Dundee bomber. Now you
have to destroy the Haunebu IV squadrons. Use the same tactic
as before, shoot missiles to the engines and then to the
downside of the spacecrafts. Collect ALL salvages!

After the destruction of the two Haunebu IV squadrons, you'll
receive order to fly to the ISS. But before you do that, you fly
to the NWO with the Dundee and sell all salvage parts. Now
change to the Katar but NOT SELL the salvage parts. Now you

from the mission "Peace Negotiations". Now you sell all salvage
parts from the Katar. If you undock from the ISS, the US Madam
President informs you, that you have 20% discount for upgrading
at the ISS.

Now fly to the Zeppelin Biterolf, where the Mir fleet is
already battling the Nazis. First destroy the asteroid and all
engines (during the whole Zeppelin fight, you can shoot with
your unlimited guided missiles). If that is done, shoot down
Valkyries until the hangar doors open. Now you fire your
missiles into the hangars. You repeat that procedure until the
Zeppelin explodes. To secure, that the missiles fly into the
Hangar, press 1 to have no target activated.

For the destruction of the Zeppelin you receive $ 100.000 and
the message, that the Nazis launched a counter offensive as
following:

                          RG    RG
       x
                        AV   AV     H      A     (A)

2 Rheingold per each

Before you engage the counter offensive, destroy the
remaining Valkyries from the Zeppelin - the asteroid should've
already been destroyed by your allies. If not, you can destroy
it very fast with your guided missiles.

First fly near a AW squadron and wait, which two squadrons the
Mir fleet and the G. W. Bush are attacking. If that
is clear, attack another AW squadron and destroy all the ships
- first the Alberichs then the Valkyries - with your missiles.

Now you should attack the RG squadrons by flying to the
position x and then y and then again x, then y, so on. Please
notice, that the RG squadrons will hide in the "fog of the war".

After the RGs are destroyed, fly to the Br and shoot the
3 engines with your plasma gun and now fly away. The squadron
is no stranded.

Now there should only be the stranded Br squadron and the 2 AWs
which are attacked by your allies and 3 slow incoming H and A
squadrons on the map. Fly to the Korea (the appearing mission
briefing of the russian represantive you click with N away and
watch it in the Mission Log!) and after that to the ISS where

to the NWO. After you selling the parts, change to the Dundee
Bomber and fly to the ISS. Here you upgrade your Dundee as
following: Heavy missiles 3 times, shields, plasma cannon and
engines 2 times and the rest as you wish.

Now the last you have to do in that chapter is to destroy the
3 Haunebu IV squadrons, the stranded Brunnhilde squadron and
the three incoming "Asteroid squadrons". You'll receive help
from the G.W. Bush and the Mir fleet.

After you've fulfill your task, fly to the ISS to end the
chapter.

Chapter II

Medals to earn: Spitfire medal, Rheingold medal, Haunebu
medal, Wotan medal, Brünnhilde medal, 2 Zeppelin medals
(Heinrich & Hermann), Escort to moon medal, Dundee
complete upgrade medal

As soon as you arrive at the ISS, you receive the order, to
destroy the enemy Zeppelins Heinrich and Hermann. This two
battleships are accompanied by 2 Asteroids, 5 Rheingolds and
2 Wotans.

Now you have to upgrade the Dundee. How depends on the level it
is already. It should be like that at the least:
Heavy missiles and Plasma Gun on Level 3 and Engines and
Shields on Level 2. If this is not like that, then upgrade it
accordingly. If you already reached that levels, then put
Shields on Level 3 and - if possible - the engines. Further
upgrades should concentrate on the Heavy missiles, shields and
then engine and the rest!

If there are A-A-A squadrons approaching the earth, fly to
them and destroy the engines to make them stranding.

Now fly to the Zeppelins where you destroy the Rheingolds and
the Wotans. If they are destroyed, fly away to save and
return. Now destroy the engines of one of the Zeppelins. It
that happened, concentrate on destroying Valkyrie and fire
missiles into the open Hangars until the Zeppelin is down.

Now destroy Valkyries and shoot missiles into the hangar of
the second Zeppelin until that is destroyed.

Now you receive the order to fly to the ISS. Before you do
that, fly to the Korea to receive the second russian
satellite mission. Change to the Katar (if available) at the
NWO or the Zerg at the Korea. Now fly to the satellite mission and
fulfill it like the first satellite mission. After two more
russian satellite, you've finished the russian side missions
2 to 4. If you approach A-A-A squadrons, make them stranding
by destroying the engines.

Now fly to the ISS, there you receive the order, to escort
Renate Richter to the moon with the british heavy fighter
"Spitfire". You change to the Spitfire and undock.

Now there flying 4 squadrons each 10 Rheingolds and 4
squadrons each 3 Alberichs and 6 Valkyrie II in direction to
the earth. You have to destroy this 4 sqadrons, beginning
with a Rheingold squadron. As soon as you receive missions
from Renate, you have to stop this task and fulfill the
Renate Mission at first.

The first Mission from Renate is to defend a navigation
satellite. You have to be fast, the navigation satellite is
destroyed very very soon. If that happens, you can restart
the mission by leaving the game and proceed with the last
save slot. As soon as the task is fulfilled, return to the
8 squadrons and destroy them one by one. If Renate is
attacked by a fighter squadron (8 Valkyries), destroy this
squadron and again return to the 8 squadrons (there
shouldn't be anymore 8 but less squadrons!). Now Renate
wants, that you destroy a Brunnhilde. If you've destroyed
the Brunnhilde, the escorting fither will remain where
they are.

The 4 mixed squadrons, which fly next to the destroyed
Brunnhilde, you have to make strand by taking out the
engines of one Haunebu IV by each squadron. Now you should've
destroyed the 8 squadrons because you haven't a lot of time
anymore. Now you should capture a enemy Rheingold for
Renate. After that, she wants you to destroy fighter
squadrons which are attacking her. As you're doing that,
you receive the mission, to capture an enemy satellite.

The best thing, is to wait until Renate is really in
danger and gets attacked from an enemy squadron. If that
happens, her ship stops while the attacking squadron move
further to her. Now engage the attacking squadron, wait
until the next is attacking her for a while, and engage
again. Don't wait to long, or her ship will be destroyed!

When the mission to capture the enemy satellite cames,
you have enough time to do that because Renate is not
too close to the moon as she would be otherwise.

If Renate and the captured Rheingold reach the moon
your main mission is accomplished but the Rheingold
capturing mission will turn into a failure. This is a
bug - you don't did something wrong. The same thing
will later again happen with the Valkyrie you have
to capture for the US Madam President - so never mind.

Until you fly the Spitfire, the Nazis will launch
A-A-A squadrons in direction earth as well as AV-AV-AV
squadrons, two AV consisting of 3 Alberich and
4 Valkyries and 1 AV squadron consisting of 3 Alberich and
5 Valkyries. To stop that immediately give the spitfire
back. Fly to the ISS and sell all salvage parts.
Change to the Dundee bomber. You now receive the message,
that the Dundee has been equipped with the Mini Gun from
the Spitfire. Now you grade the Dundee as following up:
Mini Gun completely, Heavy missiles, shields and then
engine and the rest!

As soon as you undock you receive the fith
US Mission, to destroy 2 japanese Banzais which are
flyed by russian speaking pilots (aaalright!), For that
mission you receive $ 15.000. No fly to the NWO where
you fulfill the fifth indian mission to destroy a Nazi
satellite. It is guarded by 5 Walküre, a few
Rheingolds and one Wotan For that mission you receive
$60.000. Now fly again to the NWO and receive Indian
mission 6, protecting an Indian film team. The
attacking squadron consists of 2 Valkyrie II,
5 Valkyrie and 2 Alberichs. You receive $250.000 for
protecting the film team.

With your new fortune, you fly to the ISS, sell all
salvage parts and further upgrade the Dundee.

Now fly to the near of the earth and help the Mir fleet,
G.W. Bush and Katar to destroy all enemy squadrons. With
your upgraded Dundee this shouldnt be a problem. Then
move east.

You have to halt another invasion fleet consisting
of 4 squadrons each containing 2 Haunebu, 2 Wotan
and 4 Valkyrie II.

If you engage fleets with Wotans, always first
destroy the Wotans with a salve of 3 rockets. The
Alberichs and the smaller spacecrafts you can
eleminate with your full upgraded mini gun.
Destroy Haunebus with Mini Gun fire at the engines
and after on the downside of this ships.

You should regulary return to ISS, Korea or NWO to
repair and rearm your ship and to sell
salvage parts. If you just have to rearm, you can
also fly to a russian spy satellite. But please do
upgrades always at the ISS. You should completely
upgrade the Dundee Bomber before the last enemy
squadron is destroyed. As soon as the Dundee
is completely upgrade, dont sell anymore salvage
parts. The reason will be told later. If there
aren't anymore enemies, fly to the ISS to end the
chapter.

Chapter III
Medals to earn: Canadarm medal, Alberich medal,
Meteorblitzkrieg medal

Your next assignment is to change to the heavy bomber
Canadarm and destroy three asteroids with nuclear bombs.

But first fly with the Dundee to the asteroids and
destroy the 2 Alberichs and the 5 Valkyrie II which
protect the asteroids.

After that, fly back to the ISS, change to the Canadarm and
nuke the three asteroids. You'll receive protection by
the Katar. Please notice, that you have to target a
asteroid quiet long until the nuke can be fired. The best
is to fly to it until the asteroid is in range, than hold
your ship until the target turns red and then fire.

When the mission is completed, bring the Canadarm back
to the ISS. There you receive  the information, that the
Zerg is equipped with the cluster missiles from the Canadarm.

What happens now is another invasion attempt of the nazis.
This time they have got 4 fleets, 2 times 2 Haunebus IV, 2
Wotans and 8 Valkyries II, 2 times 1 Hundig, 4 Alberichs,
3 Wotans and 3 Valkyrie II. But for your fully upgraded
Dundee this isn't any problem for you anymore.

CHapter IV

Medals to earn: Banzai medal, Valkyrie medal, Hunding
medal, 3 Zeppelin medals (Tannhäuser, Wolfram, Walther),
3 side mission medals (USA, Russia, India), 500 Salvage
parts medal, Zerg completely upgraded medal

At the ISS you receive the order, to destroy the 3
remaining Zeppelins named Tannhäuser, Walther and Wolfram.
They are accompanied by 5 Alberichs, 3 Wotans and
2 Hunding.

Before we fly to the Zeppelin, we check how many salvage
parts we've collected until now. For that dock at a
space station of your choice. If you've fully upgraded
the Dunde bomber and the Zerg fighter as mentioned
in chapter I, you've upgraded only at the ISS to the 20%
discount and you've always sold the salvage parts to $ 10.000,
than you can count as follow:
Actual money divided through 10'000 = sold salvage parts
+Collected salvage parts = not sold salvage parts
+ 304 collected parts without money for side missions
= totally collected salvage parts

IMPORTANT: If you've used the Katar instead of the
Zerg in chapter I, reduce the number of 42 from the totally
collected salvage parts or your number is to high!

Now subtract 400 from the collected salvage parts. If the
number you receive is 0 or positive, than you've done very
well. If the number is negative, then you've to collect
the missing parts in the Zeppelin battle. You should've
also destroyed at least 250 Valkyries. If not, you've
to also destroy the missing amount of Valkyrie in the
Zeppelin battle. Now you should remember the missing
salvage parts, the missing Valkyrie and the number
of your not sold salvage parts (to check how many
salvage parts you've already collected in the Zeppelin
battle).

Now fly to the Zeppelin fleet and destroy all Alberichs,
Wotans and Hundings. Then fly away to save and return
to the Zeppelin fleet. Now destroy Valkyries  and collect
salvage parts until you've reached the missing amount.
As soon as this happens, fly away to save and return
to the fleet. Now destroy the engines of zeppelin that
is closest to the earth and then - if the second
zeppelin reachs the other - destroy the engines of
them as well and then - if the third reachs the others -
its engines too.

Now you just have to destroy Valkyries until a hangar
opens, fire missiles in it until it closes, repeat,
and so on. With this strategy, one by one of the
zeppelin will be destroyed.

After the last zeppelin is destroyed, the Nazis start
a last invasion attempot with their final fleet
consisting of 5 squadrons each with 2 Hundings,
6 Alberichs, 3 Wotans and 5 Valkyries II.

But first destroy the last enemy ships at the Zeppelin
battle place. Now fly a bit away and wait, which
four fleets wille be attacked by your allies. Now
fly to the remaining fleet and shoot the engines
of a Hunding to stop that fleet.

Before you fight the fleets, fly to the NWO. There
you receive India Mission 7. This time you've to
check the position of a satellite. For this - very
easy - mission you receive $ 20.000. Now fly away
and again to the NWO to receive the 8th Indian
mission. You should deliver them 40 salvage parts.
Because you've already got them, the mission is
already done. Fly a last time to the NWO and receive
final India mission 9, this time you've to destroy
a satellite of Pakistan. FOr this mission you
receive $ 500.000.

Now fly to the ISS. At this moment, you can sell every
salvage part you collect. At the ISS you receive the
final US side mission 6. Now you should capture a
Valkyrie, which is protected by 2 Rheingolds and 2
Valkyries. For that mission you receive $ 20.000.

Fly to the enemy fleets which are attacked by your
allies and destroy them all. If all fleets are
destroyed, fly to the Korea, where the russian
represantive gives you the final russian mission 5.
Before you change to the Banzai, change to the Zerg
and grade it fully up at the ISS. Then change to
the Banzai. You receive the message, that the Mir is
attacked and you should engage the attacking
spacecrafts. Fly to the Mir fleet and do so. You receive
$ 500.000. Now bring the Banzai to the NWO and fly with
the Rogue to the ISS - you receive another
$ 1.000.000 from Russia. At the ISS you can completely
upgrade the Rogue (this is optional). Now go to the
Korea and change to the Dundee. With the Dundee you
destroy the final enemy fleet which is stranded in
space. Now fly to the ISS to end that chapter.

Chapter V
Medals to earn: Überasteroid medal

At the ISS you receive the order, to assist by the
destruction of a super asteroid, the "Überasteroid".
The asteroid is escorted by 3 Valkyrie II, 2 Alberichs
and 1 Wotan. First destroy the enemy spaceships and
then all weapons on the asteroid. After that, destroy
the new arriving spacecrafts. As soon as the allied
team has placed the bombs on the asteroid, you can
look at the asteroid how it explodes. Again, you
return to the ISS to end the chapter.

Chapter VI
Medals to earn: Götterdämmerung medal

At the ISS you receive information about the start
of the Super dreadnought "Götterdämmerung". The giant
is accompanied by 3 Hundings - one of them is the
flag ship of admiral Kreutz - and 6 Rheingolds
(sure there are many more...). If you want
you can destroy the three Hundings, what isn't really
necessary. Instead you can fire your rockets at the
hangar doors of the Götterdämmerung, fly in it and
destroy the Helium 3 reactor as soon as you can target
it. Then turn around and flee out of the
Götterdämmerung. Press Escape and make a print screen
from your statistics - because you've finished the
game and received all 30 medals which means 100%.
