Searching........
"Oh...OH MY GOD!!"
This FAQ is an attempt to list all the responses you can give when interacting
with the girls during out-of-school encounters. This includes catching them
in violations during weekend searches as well as on vacations.
Current level of completion: 199 of 230 items (86%). Still missing the
Christmas responses, as well as the locations of several of the violations.
If anyone could help supply what I'm missing, that'd be swell.
For each encounter, I give the location of town that the violation occurs in
(if I know it), making it easier to track them down. Following that, all
possible responses are listed, with the resulting Popularity (P) and Respect
(R) changes that each response renders. In the game, you will be given three
possible responses from a list of four. As a result, you may occasionally
have to select the "least worst" choice. I've tried to list the responses
from "best" to "worst" in order to help you choose, but whether some responses
are better than others may be subjective. I've tended to favor Respect points
more, but how you play may be different.
The summer festival event occurs during the second week of summer vacation.
Christmas occurs on Christmas Eve (I think), and New Year's occurs on New
Year's Day. There's a random chance of these occurring, so you may not see
them at all. These events only occur for the student who has the highest
current "Studious" value. It's possible (but rare) therefore, to see more
than one summer festival event, if another student overtakes the first in
studiousness.
Special Note: For some reason, the game displays a change of "10" as a "1,"
and a "20" as a "2." So, if the game says "Respect decreased by 2," then
you've actually lost 20 points. I've written down the actual changes below,
rather than what the game reports. I should also point out that this occurs
in the sports meets as well; the increases of 1, 2 and 3 are actually 10, 20
and 30. In both the encounters and the sports meets, fives are just fives.
In order to make the best use of this guide, I suggest using all six save
slots. Save at the beginning of each weekend. If a violation occurs in the
following week, just reload from the last save, send yourself to the suburbs,
and catch them in the act. If multiple violations occur in different areas of
town in the same week, reload from one more save back, and catch one each
weekend. On rare occasions, violations may occur during the weekend; you'll
have to go back to the previous weekend to deal with it. I once had to go
back four weeks to deal with multiple problems (both violations and personal
problems), so it's not outside the realm of possibility that you may find
yourself needing all six save slots in a game. As annoying as it is to have
to replay a week or two (or six), it's much harder to deal with the point
losses you'll suffer if you don't.
It's also recommended that you make use of the "find" or "search" feature of
your browser (usually located in the "Edit" menu). When an encounter occurs,
search this FAQ for a portion of the opening text. For example, if you
encounter Cyndi working at a massage parlour, try searching for the words
"massage parlour" in this FAQ to jump directly to the relevant section.

"He's telling you to go home and study!"
(P-10/R+10)
"What about your tired, poor old teacher--the demon must show sympathy on
him."
(R-20)
VACATIONS
---------
Fun in the Sun
--------------
Summer vacation has finally arrived! Myna's at the beach having fun.
"Vacationing is okay once in a while, but don't overdo it!"
(P+10)
"Myna, you have a fragile and weak physical disposition... you shouldn't be in
the sun."
(P+10)
"Myna, that's right-- it will get you in shape for your exams."
(P-10/R+10)
"Myna, I think it's important to enjoy yourself like this, but how about after
exams?"
(P-10/R+5)
Candlelight
-----------
You discover Myna looking spiritual as she dreamily watches the lit candles.
"Light a candle for me, too, Myna."
(P+20)
"Don't you think exams are more important than candles, Myna?"
(R+10)
"What did you wish for, Myna?"
(P+10)
"For every candle there is a separate wish, so will they come true, Myna?"
(P-10/R-5)
White Xmas
----------
You discover Myna staring into the white snow during Christmas.
"Will the angel have anything to say about your exams?!"
"What dreams, Myna?"
"Dreams are dreams, but let's go grab a bite to eat!"
"Maybe you're right, Myna-- maybe something special will happen tonight."
New Year's
----------
You discover Myna collecting raffle tickets on New Year's.
"Oh no, all my raffle tickets were losers!"
(P+10)
"Myna, do you feel lucky? Let's have a contest-- I bet I'll win!"
(P+5)
"If you buy up tons of raffle tickets, it won't mean anything if you win."
(P+10/R-10)
"Winning the raffle may mean a lot, but passing your exams is even more
important!"
(P-10)
