This is a brief FAQ for Euro Truck Simuatlor. This FAQ is for anyone who wants
to finish this game quickly or just want a general idea about how the game ends
with the kinds of objectives listed ordered to complete the game. With Euro
Truck Simulator 2 being popular as ever with a few new mechanics, it may
interest anyone who wants to play and finish the Euro Truck Simulator.
Gameplay
---------
Euro Truck Simulator is an open world truck simulation game. You are a truck
driver where you'll have to make deliveries by taking cargo to companies.
To make the game feel more like a simulator, Players can refuel their trucks,
park and sleep and also take on the dangerous cargo. While the game takes place
across Europe, Europe isn't to scale. A simple trip from Germany to France, for
example would take fifteen to twenty minutes, which would give you an idea the
kind of scale of how Europe is modelled in the game. The game metric system
fixed it, so getting the Kilometers clocked and recorded quickly during
driving.
The game world is slighty more real as you can get fined for certain things.
Such as hitting traffic, speeding and even not turning on your lights during the
night. This can hinder your progress earning the cash needed to progress the
game. Damaging cargo also reduces the amount earn during the game.
Game Objectives
---------------
The reason I've placed the game objectives first before the walktrough is
because the objectives and mechanics are self-explationary. So it shouldn't
be so hard to get an idea with what to do and where to go within the game.
The game clearly teases you by locking out the objectives later in the game
so I'll be posting them here.
Novice
- Deliver 2 undamaged cargoes to the same loading dock.
- Deliver any cargo to 4 different loading docks.
- Drive 6000 km with a loaded trailer.
- Earn €25,000
- Gain access to 1 new country.
Experienced
- Deliver 3 cargoes with ADR Class 3 certificate
- Drive 11000 km with a loaded trailer.
- Earn € 75,000.
- Deliver any cargo to 6 different loading docks. The cargo shouldn't be
damaged.
- Gain access to 3 new countries
Professional
- Become the owner of a B Class truck
- Deliver 2 cargoes with ADR Class 2 certiferene
- Drive 16000 km with a loaded trailer
- Deliver 12 undamaged cargoes to any loading dock
- Gain access to 5 new country/countries
Veteran
- Own a fully upgraded A class truck
- Get access to all countries
- Transport cargoes without traffic rules violations and cargo damage for
101 hours. (Only transpation time cargoes)
- Brace yourself as a Veteran of hazardous cargo transportation. Deliver each
type of ADR cargoes
-Trip around Europe. Deliver any undamaged cargo to the following cities.
(9 cities already accessible)
Master
- Own an A class truck of a different make
- Deliver undamanged cargo to these companies
- Earn €300,000
- Transport 12 hazardous cargoes. Cargo must be undamaged and no traffic rule
can be violated.
- Perfect European delivery to all cities in the game. (No cargo damage and
no traffic rule violation)
Walkthrough
------------
An intro to what's asked for to play the game. It's rather easily and mindless.
It will give you an idea how to drive the truck, getting the cargo on and off
your truck, refilling and completing deliveries to earn money. If you want
to just skip ahead by not doing the hard work, then read about the
Earning More Money Exploit below to find out how to add more money to complete
those other objectives.
Novice
- Deliver 2 undamaged cargoes to the same loading dock.
Easy but since it's so early in the game, it will take some time to get used
too as you'll have to be aware about how traffic reacts and moves in the game.
It's alot more tougher then it looks when you first try this.
- Deliver any cargo to 4 different loading docks.
With this, you may need to notice down which dock you've visited. I don't think
the game will tell you how they keep track of it.
- Drive 6000 km with a loaded trailer.
Would rack up as you progress. You wouldn't have to think so much about this.
- Earn €25,000
Straightforward as you would need to take on jobs, refuel and explore the map,
so it would rack as you progress in the game.
- Gain access to 1 new country.
For this, you'll have to be on the map screen. When you earn enough money, you
can unlock a new country
Experienced
- Deliver 3 cargoes with ADR Class 3 certificate
Firstly, you'll have to purchase a ADR Class 3 Certificate. You'll have to
earn the money for this.
- Drive 11000 km with a loaded trailer.
Another mindless progression.
- Earn € 75,000.
Another mindless progression, should get as you'll go along naturally.
- Deliver any cargo to 6 different loading docks. The cargo shouldn't be
damaged.
You'll have to remember which docks you've loaded them too.
- Gain access to 3 new countries
Earning the cash would allow you to buy to unlock the other countries you can
unlock.
Professional
If you want... you can use the money hack to quickly purchase what you need to
progress this part of the game. I ended up getting the objectives completed
legitimately because it's not so tough to complete.
- Become the owner of a B Class truck
Alot easy to do then you think. Just save up the required amount and
purchase any Class B truck.
- Deliver 2 cargoes with ADR Class 2 certiferene
You'll have to save up and purchase a ADR Class 2 Certiference and deliver
the cargo.
- Drive 16000 km with a loaded trailer
Another mindless task. Self explanatory.
- Deliver 12 undamaged cargoes to any loading dock
Very easy and no need to keep an eye which docks you've taken the cargo too.
- Gain access to 5 new country/countries
Earn enough and buy access to five other countries, at this stage, there
should be around one to two countries still locked.
Veteran
By this time, you'll be pretty much fed up with the game. You'll be driving
around the same places over again because there's not that many places. So if
you like to add some money in your save file and just skip ahead, then I would
recommend it as the game is a predictable grind to the finish.
It's not worth the challenge. I don't feel bad. There's other games to play.
- Own a fully upgraded A class truck
With the money, you can purchase and fully upgrade your truck. Not as boring
as earning money and upgrading it can be fun.
- Get access to all countries
Money again. Earn money and purchase access to the other countries.
- Transport cargoes without traffic rules violations and cargo damage for
101 hours. (Only transpation time cargoes)
You'll be doing deliveries anyways, so it shouldn't be so hard. The counter
stops when the cargo is damaged.
- Brace yourself as a Veteran of hazardous cargo transportation. Deliver
each type of ADR cargoes.
Deliver all three hazard cargo to any place. You'll need to purchase the
last certifence and then transfer each cargo to complete.
- Trip around Europe. Deliver any undamaged cargo to the following
cities. (9 cities already accessible).
These are the cities you've unlocked so far. Some of the cities wouldn't
be listed as you haven't had unlocked them anyways, so the listed countries
will be different with how you've started the game to begin with. It should
be fun anyways as you wouldn't have to grind a route all the time.
Master
- Own an A class truck of a different make
It's easy, just trade in your truck for another make and that's it. It's
maybe better to do this last in my opinion because there's little or no
point in having a fully upgraded truck and then just trading it. Maybe
would be worth while if you are simply bored of your other truck.
- Deliver undamanged cargo to various companies. (Loads of listed
companies)
Once again, you'll have to look out for these companies. Thankfully.
the game labels the companies for you and highlights them after you
finish each delivery undamaged to those companies.
- Earn €300,000
The biggest grind and boredom. If you'll like. you could hack into the
save file and change the value in the game to get the cash to complete
this.
- Transport 12 hazardous cargoes. Cargo must be undamaged and no traffic
rule can be violated.
A bit of fun and worth doing since the hazardous cargoes are already
unlocked at this stage.
- Perfect European delivery to all the cities in the game. (No cargo damage and
no traffic rule violation).
Since unlocking every single country at this stage, you get to make a delivery
to each and every city in the game. Have fun.
That's it. That is Euro Truck Simulator completed. There's nothing else to do.
Just drive around, more or less the same thing and the game offers no more
objectives. The game later released an expansion titled Euro Truck Simulator
Gold which only introduced three cities in England, but that's pretty much it.
Earning More Money Exploit
---------------------------
There are something many players wouldn't like in Euro Truck Simulator. The
game has a massive grind structure to complete some of the objectives, maybe
because the game hasn't have much in the game unlike SCS software's it's
future sets of truck simulator. This may frustrate some players.
Luckyly, there is an exploit to hamper with the save files to allow you to
quickly progress in the game. Do I feel bad about it? Alittle bit but only
because the challenge offered with worth while and there's all these other
games worth seeing. I am glad that Euro Truck Simulator 2 is around to really
fix the boredom which is found in the first game.
You can also generate other awards but they are minor however they can be set
up if you are curious enough to see them as they'll show up. More about this
another time because they are very minor.

Euro Truck Simulator v 1.3 / Gold Details

SCS released a patch for Euro Truck Simulator in 2009 which added access to
England and three cities, London, Manchester and Newcastle. You can use a ferry
crossing in France from Calais to Dover to access the cities.

There no need to download if you are playing Euro Truck Simulator Gold.
Conclusion
----------
If giving to grips with Euro Truck Simulator wasn't enough for you, you can
check out UK Truck Simulator, German Truck Simulator and Euro Truck
Simulator 2, all created from the same company SCS Software.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is extremely beefed up, so that will less boring to play
and drive around with unlike the first game. There's loads more to do and to
see.
If you dislike or get bored of open ending simulation games, there's Scania
Truck Simualator to play around with also create from SCS Software. It has a
really beefed up, fun scenirio mode, where you can drive around really fun
looking levels.
If that doesn't satify you and would like a game, there's also another game
called Rig 'n' Roll (Can be found on Steam) because Rig 'n' Roll has a story
to the game and I think it really adds alot to the truck simulation genre with
it's story mode, despite the fact that the game can feel a bit arcady but at
least it has a story with an ending. Rig 'n' Roll is there but it's made from
another company, so feel free to check those games out.
