2. Cheating [SE02]
==============================================================================
If a battle is too annoying/hard you can always auto-win it by cheating:
Press [Tilde (~)] to open the console. Type "EtherRevelation" without the
quotes and press [Enter]. Now type "win" without the quotes during a battle
to instantly win it.
For a full list of all the cheats see this site:

==============================================================================
3. Introduction [SE03]
==============================================================================
Note that on hard difficulty, all the battles (except the bat-battle) until
you beat the Orc Shaman are the hardest battles in the entire campaign. The
first battle against a puny Rat is even harder than the final boss on the
final map. Maybe I missed something or is it really this imbalanced? Anyway,
the first few battles are all about luck and hardly about skill.
You could start the first map on Normal and then play the other maps on Hard.
This guide is meant for playing the game on hard difficulty. If you play on
Easy or Normal then your opponent will have less chance to activate his/her
specialties. They also have less cards in their decks. On hard, even when you
discard 5 cards they can still play 3 cards instead of one... On Easy and
Normal the first few battles are also a WHOLE LOT easier.
I won't list/tell you about all of the resources scattered throughout the
campaign. I just walk you through how to win those battles. You can spot those
resources by yourself as most of them are rather easy to find.
On the first map I won't always exactly list my entire deck because either
you have not enough cards to customize it or the battle is so easy that it is
not worth mentioning.
What I WILL explain to you is how you can beat your enemies. How to build
your deck to counter them and how to use that deck. Also I will explain
briefly how to navigate through the adventure world.

4. Walkthrough (Chaots) [SE03]
==============================================================================
==============================================================================
Map 1 [M01]
==============================================================================
The first 4 battles are by FAR the hardest from the entire campaign on
hard difficulty. So be prepared.
After the dialog proceed and fight the Stink Rat inside the palisades.
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M01B01]
Enemy: Stink Rat
Specialty: Rat's Tenacity
Level: 1
HP: 10

___________
Well, since you can't customize your deck in this early area you have no
choice other than to just use your offensive spells on his summoned rat's.
Don't waste your early [Zap]'s on the enemy hero, just save them up for his
rats and pray that his specialty does not kick in. If it kicks in 2-3 times
then you may as well surrender.
This battle can be really annoying because you might need to reload a
couple of times because of his "Rat's Tenacity" saving him all the time...
If you can, try to buff a single rat to 3/3 or 4/4 stat's while [Zap]ping his
rat's.
If he manages to get a 4/4 rat then you can most likely surrender. At some
point he can summon a rat and just instantly buff him to 3-3 if you're
unlucky. Again, there is not much you can do in this battle except for praying
that his specialty will not kick in on the crucial moments.
If you manage to get a 3/3 rat and he only has a 2/2 then just attack instead
of saving it to defend because the AI is usually stupid enough to sacrifice
his 2/2 rat against your 3/3 rat even tough he has 10 HP and more buff spells
ready. If he does this then you won the battle because this repeats itself
with his new summons (if he still has any) until you kill him.
Note that I obtained "Rat's Tenacity" after defeating him. But specialties
aren't that useful without the <Luck> skill. If you didn't get this specialty
then don't worry because there is only like a 1 out of 15 chance or something
to obtain them after a battle and you can easily beat the campaign without any
specialties.
______________________________________________________________________________
Explore the town, talk to the orc, click on the 'well' next to him, watch the
cut-scene, walk towards the other gate and watch the short battle. Now walk
back outside of town (where you started the game). There should be a bat here
to kill (optional). Note that you can kill this bat later after you
accumulated more cards for an easier kill. In case you want to kill it now:
______________________________________________________________________________

___________
He will summon 3/2 bats and has the same damage spells as you. He also has the
[Burning Graves] card that causes 3 damage to each hero for each creature he
has in his graveyard. So don't get your rat's killed! This card counters you
really hard.
Again, quickly [Zap] and burn his bat's before they get buffed too much while
having probably one strong rat to finish him off. Pretty much the same tactic
as in the previous battle. Only this time you can't block if needed and you
might need a rat with at least 3 defense to survive his offensive spells. Also
his unbuffed bat's require at least 2 spells to kill. Good luck reloading a
lot or skip this battle for now.
How I won: I got lucky and he couldn't summon a bat until I had 3 Ether. He
summoned a bat, I tanked it once. Then he summoned another one. Until now I
didn't cast a single spell. But now I cast 2x [Fire Wave] and kill his 2 bats.
Then the next 2 bats I manage to kill too before they even get buffed or
damage me. Then I took a rat and buffed it instantly to 4/4. He only has 4
bats in total. So if you manage to kill his 4 bats then all you need is one
strong rat to survive his offensive spells.
Note: if you don't spend your 2 Ether on your first/second turn then you will
most likely be Ether-drained and he will instantly summon a bat...

Exactly the same as the first battle on this map. Good luck...
______________________________________________________________________________
You probably gained a level by now (if you killed the bat). I spend it on
<Basic Resource> but it's up to you. I recommend taking Resource because often
you will run out of cards. There are also enemies that discard your cards so
you might really want to take this one.
Activate the nearby mine and proceed (ignore the 2nd bat hero for now. Just
kill him later. These are even harder than the previous bat because you get to
discard a card every time you kill a bat making it near impossible to win this
battle) and after the dialog attack the yellow Orc Shaman.

___________
To be honest, this is the only battle that I cheated. You need like a 100
reloads to beat this. He has 1-2 summons that can dispel your rat buffs. On
top of that he has the [Crystal Ball] (First Strike for all of his summons)
and [Anger] (+1 to damage for all of his summons) and all other kinds of nasty
cards which you can not counter nor dispel. This combined with the the fact
that almost each hit you take discards a card makes it near impossible to win.
And without buffs your rats die by [Fire Wave], or just get blocked or
[Zap]-ped... If you found a way to effectively beat this guy on Hard then let
me know.

I switched 2 random spells for with the [Orc Shaman] and the [Burning Graves]

Note that you can currently still not block flying enemies.
______________________________________________________________________________
You will level up. I took <Basic Channeling> as my second skill (this skill

If you don't have [Burning Graves] for some reason then don't worry. Your

___________
She will not attack you. She uses flying walls and protective spells to push
the battle into the Ether Disturbance. Don't bother buffing your summons
because she will target the buffed ones and put them back into your hand or
makes them attack themselves. Just summon a lot of small rats / Shamans but
don't buff them yet and don't waste them on her walls. [Zap] the enemy hero to
lower her HP a bit.
Kill her walls with [Wind of Flames] (req. 7 ether to kill all 6-def and lower
walls) cards and lightning spells. Then when she has almost or no walls at all
left, send in your army to attack her and kill her. [Burning Graves] will also
hurt her really really badly at this point of the battle.
______________________________________________________________________________
You will level up. (I took <Expert Channeling>). Watch the funny cut-scene and
kill the level 1 River Halo. Finish the dialog and shop at the nearby shops.
Personally Bought all summons except one [Orc Shaman] And every Spell Card at
least once. You might want to have a lot of rats for the next map (they
receive an insane buff there). Buy as much as you can because you can never
return to the previous map. Walk to the starting area and outside of the map
to proceed to the next map. If you skipped any fights then you can do them now
before proceeding to the next map or the possible loot and XP that they give
will be lost forever.

My setup:
- Rats' Tenacity (is not be necesary but it's nice to have)
- 1x Anger
- 4x Stink Rat
- 2x Doom Rat
- 2x Plague Rat
- 2x Orc Shaman (important for dispelling)
- 1x Burning Graves (you need this to empty his graveyard to prevent his
summons from auto-resurrecting all the time)
- 1x Crystal Ball (this gives your rats first strike allowing them to block
and kill those hoppers. You need this card relatively soon during the
battle)
He will use the "Immobilize" card on your stronger summons but you can pay
Ether to disenchant it. Just keep those rat's coming and debuf his strong
enchantments during your blocking phase. This means that your Orc Shamand will
not be attacking during the attack phase. You can tank 1-attack Hoppers but
4-attack Hoppers are a bit painfull.
Your endless army of rats should overwhelm your enemy.

My setup:
- 4x Fire Wave
- 4x Zap
- 1x Doom Rat
- 2x Burning Graves
- 2x Orc Shaman (important for dispelling his [Anger] cards)
- 2x 'random card of your choice'

Don't block because these hornets will cause any creature that took damage
from a hornet to die. He will also use a LOT of "Lesser Healing" cards. He
will also use a spell that prevents any creature with an attack power of 3 or
less to be unable to attack. You can overcome this with the "Orc Shamans" or
with the [Anger] cards.
My setup:
- 3x Kobold Shaman
- 4x Zap
- 2x Doom Rat
- 2x Burning Graves
- 2x Orc Shaman
- 2x Winds of Flame (overkill)
- 1x Anger
[Zap] his hornets. Then use your Doom Rats to finish him off and to discard
his cards at the same time to prevent him from healing. He can actually
outheal your rat's damage if you do not attack him enough to discard him.

Just pump out those rats and put some [Anger] cars on top of it and you should

- 1x Burning Graves (I didn't use it)
- 1x Earth Quake (I didn't use it)
- 1x Rock Wall
He loves putting your summons back into your hand and then he discards your
hand. He also has some pretty strong Lamia Monk 4/8 summons.
If you can get a lot of rats really quickly you can prevent him from
constantly discarding your hand by discarding his hand by using your rats to
attack him. Unless you have an unlucky starting hand you will most likely win
it. This means that he won't even be able to get his Lamia's out and he must
constantly defend himself wasting his Ether until he dies.
______________________________________________________________________________
Pick up the <Amulet of Ether Defense>. You might need it for the final
battle on this map. Behind this small lake you can kill a Sea Halo. Use the

Level up. I chose <Advanced Artificer>.
Proceed into the next battle.
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M02B15]
Enemy: Marcia
Specialty: Ironskin
Loot: "Cannibalism" card
___________
Okay now this one is really tricky. Creatures enter the field in a rested
state and anything non-flying won't stand up anymore. On top of that she can
do the same to one species (usually your flying units) (you have two, Magma
Walls and Bats but she can cast this spell twice during the course of the
battle...). She also has 6/5 summons and some dragons.
This method works even better if you have <Expert Channeling> but it's not
exactly required.
It works only if you have at least <Basic Resources>.
Setup:
- 3x Geyser (or 2x [Geyser] and 1x [Whirling Ashes])
- 2x Earth Quake
- 1x Winds of Flame
- 1x Burning Graves
- 3x Wall of Magma
- 1x Rock Wall
- 3x Defense
- 2x Cannibalism
So you want to get Geyser first if possible. Then a [Wall of Magma]. Protect
the wall quickly with the artifact. Do this for all walls that you summon to
prevent their species from being rested! Then keep casting [Defense]. At some
point kill his summons using [Earth Quake] & [Winds of Flame]. Then use
[Burning Graves]. After that the Ether Disturbance should be about to kick in.
You should have more HP than her. But just to be sure you could now
cannibalize your walls increasing your HP to almost 100 (if not more). This
way you will easily survive the Ether Disturbance and she will not. If you
have the <Channeling> skill it should be even easier. Make sure to use your
Artifact as much as possible (you can recharge it after the battle anyway) or
get lucky and hope she doesn't target your Magma walls.
You can also use [Whirling Ashes] to disenchant your flying wall species from
the rested debuff. Note that you can find this debuff on the wall that she
casted it upon. You need to disenchant it on that same wall. I'm not sure, I
forgot to try it, but perhaps if you cannibalize your debuffed wall. It might
also lift the debuff for the entire species because the wall itself has gone
into the graveyard.
Another approach:
You can also win it by summoning a Magma Wall, then she will unleash her
spells on that Magma species and then you summon Bats which you will buff with
First Strike. It only works if you have the Bats' Guile specialization. But
you have to kill her quickly before she kills all your bats with area of
effect spells and such. I prefer the Ether Disturbance method because it works
pretty much guaranteed.
_____________________________________________________________________________
Go back, shop again if needed, recharge your artifacts and leave the map.

Some of his cards:
- [Annihilation]: destroys all creatures and damages both heroes. Because of
his specialty his summons might live and your's most likely won't.
- [Winds of Flame]. So Bats are almost useless (unless protected with the
artifact perhaps). And his specialization kicks in 95 out of 100 times or
something. Maybe I was just really unlucky.
- [Rage]: Increases his creatures attack power by 4 but reduces their
toughness by 2. You might want to dispel this one.
My setup:
- 2x Geyser
- 3x Anger
- 3x Stink Rat
- 2x Plague Rat
- 2x Doom Rat
- Crystal Ball (not really needed)
- 1x Burning Graves (can also be used to prevent his rats from resurrecting
each other)
- 1x Catastrophe
- 1x Flame Lick (to dispel his [Rage])
Quickly summon stink rats. He might use [Annihilation] on them but hopefully
he will use it early on. Then with a few [Anger] buffs and perhaps [Crystal
Ball] your rats will be able to handle his rat's. The [Flame Lick] will take
care of his [Rage] and as soon as you get enough Ether and his HP is lower
than yours cast [Catastrophe] to finish it. Combine it with [Burning Graves]

- 2x Riot (I didn't end up using any of those in the end)
- 2x Giant Bat
- 4x Bat
- 4x Anger
- 1x Weaken
- 1x Crystal Ball (allows your bats to defend without getting killed)
- 2x random cards (probably some cheap cards to survive earlier game a bit
easier but it doesn't matter really).
With Bats' Guile this is even easier. He can't block nor damage your bats.
______________________________________________________________________________
Head into the tunnel and fight Wall of Daggers.
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B04]
Enemy: Wall of Daggers
Specialty: Invulnerability
Loot: None
___________
Some of his cards:
- [Madness]: Controller of enchanted creature suffers 2 damage at the end of
each turn. Enchanted creature can't use abilities.
- [Broken Reality]: You lose all Ether and you suffer that amount of damage.
- [Weak Toxin]: Enchanted hero suffers 1 damage at the begin of his or her
turn.
- [Irritation]: Controller of enchanted creature suffers 1 damage at the end
of each turn. Enchanted creature can't use abilities.
Note: Most of his flying walls have regeneration. He relies on his walls and
his damaging spells to slowly kill you.
The Velos that he summons can be ignored. They die by themselves if they take
no damage. You can weaken them to make sure they don't hurt you but you can
take a few hits.
Method #1:
Setup:
- 3x Cannibalism
- 3x Defense
- 4x Flame Lick
- 2x Wall of Lava
- 3x Wall of Magma
- 1x Rock Wall
It's a boring but safe approach. You can gain about 180 HP from your walls
by using [Cannibalism] (Try to cast all [Defense] cards first before
cannibalizing your walls for the maximum amount of HP). Use the Flame Licks to
dispel his annoying damage-over-time spells.
Ignore his Velos, unless you have a wall out already. You can afford to lose
some HP because you will be gaining a lot later on.
If you have the <Channeling> skill then this battle is even easier.
Just push the game into the Ether Disturbance and you win.
Method #2 (requires <Bats' Guile> and [Riot]):
Equip Bats' Guile
- 4x [Anger]
- 2-3x [Riot] (you need at least 2 of those) (prevents his walls from
regenerating)
- 4x Flame Lick
- All the bat cards that you've got.
______________________________________________________________________________
Proceed into the next battle, the Doom Rat guarding a statue:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B05]
Enemy: Doom Rat
Specialty: Rats' Tenacity
Loot: None
___________
Some of his cards:
- [Tremor]: Deals 2 damage to all creatures. This will kill your cheap
summons. But he only seems to have 1 or 2 of these.
- [Strength]: Power of the enchanted creature increases by 4.
- [Rain of Stones]: Pay 2 Ether, Deals 2 damage to all enemy creatures. He
will cast multiple of these and combine it with [Tremor] to kill pretty much
all of your summons. The worst part is that this spell is recycling...
(note: he didn't use this spell at all when I used the bat-deck below. But
he did use it constantly when I had walls in my deck. Perhaps this card is
only sometimes in his deck?
Setup:
- 2x Geyser
- 4x Bat
- 2x Giant Bat
- 2x Flame Lick (dispel his [Strength] and recycling enchantments)
- 2x Lesser Strength
- 2x Anger
- 1x Weaken
- 1x Crystal Ball
After you played [Crystal Ball] and have a few Bats you should be fine. Only
[Tremor] can kill your bats. Accumulate your bats, he won't attack you with
his summons because he fears losing his rats. At some point you have so many
bats buffed with [Anger] that you can instantly kill him in one
all-out-attack. The hardest part is to stay alive early game and to dispel his
[Strength] enchantments (or to have bats with first strike ready so he won't
use those rats).
The only reason why this strategy can fail is because of [Tremor]. But with
even a single [Lesser Strength] that bat can survive 1 [Tremor]. And you can
use [Weaken] and [Flame Lick] to counter his [Strength] and recycling cards.
You can also use few Orc Shamans to help you with the dispelling. But they die
by a single [Tremor].
______________________________________________________________________________
Level up. I chose <Basic Suppression>.
Activate the <Rat Hole> shrine for the super rate buff again!
Cross the red bridge again and into the tunnel leading to the Mother Tick
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B06]
Enemy: Mother Tick
Specialty: (sorry I forgot)
Loot: None
___________
Your rat's will be your disposable/auto-resurrecting shield early game. I did
not take any [Anger] cards because he will just dispel it.
Setup:
- 4x Lightning Storm (can be bought in the shop near the starting area)
- 4x Fire Wave
- 1x Geyser
- 2x Earth Quake
- 3x Stink Rat
- 1x Disease Rat
- 1x Burning Graves
Use [Fire Wave] and [Lightning Storm] to kill her creatures. If you don't have
too many dead rats you can cast [Burning Graves] to kill her quickly. If not
then just keep summoning rats while killing her ticks. Easy win.
______________________________________________________________________________
Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B07]
Enemy: Ettrinda
Specialty: Finguses' Vitality
Loot: None
___________
Her summons are pretty tough (walls that can shoot and damage by sacrificing)
so offensive spells won't do you any good.
Setup:
- 2x Geyser
- 2x Doom Rat
- 3x Plague Rat
- 3x Disease Rat
- 1x Burnout
- 1x Catastrophe
- 4x Anger
She will nuke your rats all the time but they will come back thanks to the
<Rat Hole>. Keep using [Burnout] to sacrifice your Angered rats and target the
enemies hero until she dies. You can use your rats abilities to get those
cards back from the graveyard if you need even more rats.
If you can, you can also attack her but her walls probably won't let you.
Just keep on using [Burnout].
If you have no skill in <Resources> then a single [Burnout] won't be enough.
______________________________________________________________________________
Hop into the teleporter, recharge your artifacts if needed and proceed across
the red bridge into battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B08]
Enemy: Cleric Spirit
Specialty: Free Casting
Loot: [Ash Storm] x2
___________
I didn't change my setup from the last fight [M03B07]. [Anger] + Rats seems
to do the trick here once again. But you can replace the [Burnout] card.
______________________________________________________________________________
Proceed into the next battle (The Shaman):
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B09]
Enemy: Shaman Spirit
Specialty: Spell Translocation
Loot: [Ash Storm] x2
___________
Again I did not exchange any cards. Just go with [Anger] + lots and lots of
rats and you will kill him.
______________________________________________________________________________
I leveled again and chose <Advanced Supression>.
Proceed into the next battle (the nearby Lamia Monk):
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B10]
Enemy: Lamia Monk
Specialty: Lamias' Thievery
Loot: None
___________
This is another annoying enemy that rests your creatures.
Setup:
- 3x [Flame Lick]
- 4x Anger
- 2x Orc Shaman
- 4x Stink Rat
- 2x Doom Rat
- 1x Plague Rat
If you are lucky then your first 1/2 rats will discard her resting cards
basically giving you a free win :). If not, just use the [Flame Lick] cards to
dispel her resting debuffs and go massive rats + [Anger] again. Also use your
Orc Shamans to help dispelling those debuffs. By the time her stronger Lamias
are summoned you have so many buffed rats that it's more than game over for
her.
______________________________________________________________________________
The <Shrine of Knowledge> grants you <Thrifty Casting>.
Proceed into the the tunnel:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B11]
Enemy: Shadow Wolf
Specialty: Burn Relief
Loot: None

Just use rats + [Anger] and kill him quickly.
Man that <Rat Hole> really payed off.
______________________________________________________________________________
At the road fork take the right path. After the dialog you receive an
artifact: <Ring of Paralysis>.
Activate the Mandrake Garden.
Speak to the other guy and they will open the door.
Instead, head back to the fork in the road and take the other road this time
and battle the Orc Elder:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B12]
Enemy: Orc Elder
Specialty: Discriminating Lightning
Loot: [Orc Guard] x2, [Orc Warrior] x2
___________
Setup:
- 4x Stink Rat
- 4x Anger
- 2x Doom Rat
- 1x Geyser
- 3x Bat
- 2x Giant Bat
Sure the bats will die when he uses Lightning, and so do your weaker rats. But
this guy has a slow deck and your rats will be discarding his cards all game
long so he won't be able to cast it alot.
______________________________________________________________________________
The <Wolves Den> only lasts 10 days. So activate just before you expect to be
fighting a really hard battle.
Go back to the other road again and through the 2 doors and hop into the
teleporter. After the cutscene and dialogs cross the red bridge and fight the
Mechos who guards it:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B13]

______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B14]
Enemy: GAMMA-700B "Retributive"
Specialty: Spell Translocation
Loot: None
___________
Use the same deck as in [M03B12] again and you will be fine. You could take
1 or 2 dispellers like [Orc Shaman]s or [Flame Lick]'s but it's not really
needed because your [Anger] spells will counter her [Drowsy Gas]
______________________________________________________________________________
Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B15]
Enemy: Theta-100D "Malovent"
Specialty: Cutters' Restlessness
Loot: None
___________
This guy seems easy. But his Cutterman summons can instantly be raised to 28+
attack power. They also gain Trample and First Strike and stuff but die at the
start of his next round.
I use the same deck as in [M03B12] and killed him on my first try. However,
a few [Riot] cards to kill his regenerating walls and [Orc Shaman]s to dispel
his Cuttermans might just be what you are looking for if you are having
trouble.
______________________________________________________________________________
Activate the Lightning Generator (omg even more buffs? I thought this was
hard-mode...). Go back and empty the shops. Then go back to the 'Center Area'
with the dragon, teleporter, <Artifact Recharger> and dragon. From there cross
the red bridge closest to the teleporter and proceed into the tunnel:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B16]
Enemy: Water Elemental
Specialty: Discriminating Unsummoning
Loot: None
___________
He died so fast I never saw his summons... Anyway here is my setup:
- 4x Stink Rat
- 1x Orc Shaman
- 4x Anger
- 4x Flame Lick (you probably only need 2 or so)
- 1x Geyser
- 2x Doom Rat
______________________________________________________________________________
I also noticed that next to this tunnel there is a spell shop (that 'blue ray
emitting building thingy')... Anyway, plunder it.
Proceed through the tunnel and into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B17]
Enemy: Earth Elemental
Specialty: Invulnerability
Loot: [Comet]
___________
Some of his card(s):
- [Curse of Hunger]: Each enemy creature deals itself damage equal to it's
attack power.
So okay rat's don't work here unless you get some good starting cards. He also
summons 6/6 creatures which he buffs with LifeTap and +4 attack and +4 defense
and such. He only has 4 summons that he relies on to deal all the damage. So
you could either take spells like [Rift]/[Earth Quake], and rely on your
<Lightning Shrine>. Or go like me and take the safe setup:
- 1x Geyser
- 4x Wall of Lava
- 1x Rock Wall
- 1x Orc Shaman (to help dispel all his resting debuffs)
- 3x Flame Lick
- 3x Defense
- 2x Cannibalism (total overkill)
- 1x Rift (In case he really quickly summons like a 10-10 summon with buffs)
Just push the battle into the Ether Disturbance.
______________________________________________________________________________
Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B18]
Enemy: Elarde
Specialty: Halos' Twins
Loot: None
___________
If you really want to stomp this girl hard then go like this:
- 4x Stink Rat
- 2x Disease Rat
- 4x fire Wave
- 1x Burning Graves
- 1x Geyser
- 1x Earth Quake
- 3x Anger
She also has a spell that discards all cards and then both heroes draw summon
spells for it instead. But you rats are much stronger than her Halos so it
works in your advantage.
______________________________________________________________________________
I gained a level and chose <Expert Supression>.
Go through the tunnel and attack the Pale Reaper:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B19]
Enemy: Pale Reaper
Specialty: Burn Relief
Loot: None
___________
Note: Battles [M03B20] & [M03B21] lead to 6 anti-pale-spells. You could do
those first if you like.
Some of his spells:
- [Energy Barrier]: Reduces incoming magical damage to the creature or hero by
3. Note that this spell can not be disenchanted by your rats.
Setup:
- 4x Stink Rat
- 3x Disease Rat
- 3x Anger
- 1x Catastrophe
- 1x Burnout
- 1x Volcano
- 1x Comet
- 1x Flame Lick
- 1x Geyser
Make sure your rats keep hitting him to disenchant his buffs :). Hit him fast
and hard before he gets too many pale summons (which you currently can not
permanently kill, not even [Rift] works).
______________________________________________________________________________
Now attack the Fire Elemental:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B20]
Enemy: Fire Elemental
Specialty: Invulnerability
Loot: [Comet] x2
___________
If you use the same deck as in [M03B17] you will just recreate that battle and
win. But instead of [Rift] I took [Comet].
______________________________________________________________________________
Recharge your artifacts if needed and proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M03B21]
Enemy: Kervis
Specialty: Mind Blast Protection
Loot: [Pale Warp] x3, [Blast] x3
___________
The same build as in the previous battle [M03B20] might work but this one is
faster and very safe:
- 4x Stink Rat
- 2x Doom Rat
- 4x Orc Shaman (for dispelling all his debuffs)
- 2x Flame Lick
- 4x Anger
______________________________________________________________________________
Pickup the key and go to the door that was guarded by the Pale hero (ah sorry
yes now you got anti Pale spells :P).
After 21 battles I didn't bother looking for any forgotten battles or such
things. I continued to the next map but feel free to look around to make sure
you/I didn't miss anything. Upon leaving you receive [Firestorm] x3.
==============================================================================
Map 4 [M04]
==============================================================================
After the dialog plunder the shop. It has some really nice offensive spells.
Try to buy the [Rain of Stones] and [Fireball] spells. They are recycling. If
you go through the tunnel you can also buy some really good summoner spells.
Head into the next tunnel for a battle
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M04B01]
Enemy: Cutter Man
Specialty: Cutters' Restlessness
Loot: [Strength] x2
___________
Some of these cutters disenchant so going with recycling spells isn't a good
idea. He also has 8-8 cutters. He also uses [Exile] to remove a creature from
play and removes your enchantments with spells.
Setup:
- 3x Defense
- 2x Rain of Stones
- 3x Fireball
- 1x Geyser
- 1x Rock Wall
- 2x Wall of Burning Rock (use Silicon walls instead if you have those)
- 1x wall of Inferno Flames
- 3x Wall of Lava
Get your walls up quickly so he can't disenchant your [Defense] with his
cutters. He can still do it with his spells but he also needs to dispel
[Fireball] and [Rain of Stones]. Use 2 [Rain of Stones] to kill almost all of
his summons. Use [FireBall] to slowly kill the enemy hero. You need to have a
moderate to lucky starting hand or he might beat you. I mean, if he gets 2
disenchanting cutters before you even get a single wall you're dead.</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
______________________________________________________________________________
The next area has a nasty debuff. Read it's description. Basically you can't
use any Sorcery spells without suffering those 2 severe penalties. So we need
to rely on our creatures now.
Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M04B02]
Enemy: Gray Ogre
Specialty: Discriminating Lightning
Loot: [Gray Ogre] x3, [Smoke] x2, [Rage] x2
___________
He will cast a lot of [Rain of Stones]. Getting just [Orc Shamans] won't work
because their toughness is too low. and [Flame Lick]'s are risky because of
the global debuff.
Setup:
- 3x Wall of Lava (or take 2x [Kobold Shaman] instead to kill him faster. Do
not summon them after you casted one or two [Defense] or they will be
stoned)
- 1x Flame Lick (you need this to disenchant his "All creatures get the "can
not get up ability"" when all of your Orc Shamans are resting or because
you don't have any (alive).
- 1x Wall of Inferno Flames
- 1x Geyser
- 2x Rain of Stones
- 3x Defense
- 3x Fireball
- 2x Orc Shaman
Note: if you happen to have some Silicon Walls then put those in your deck.
Kill his summons using those offensive enchantments (note: enchantments do not
equal sorcery so you won't be punished by the global debuff), then Fireball
him into oblivion. You don't really need the walls as long as you can nuke his
summons. I took them just to be on the safe side but you can probably kill him
faster with some Doom Rats or something.
______________________________________________________________________________
Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M04B03]
Enemy: Lamia Warrior
Specialty: Winds' Wrath
Loot: [Ethereal Resonance]
___________
Some of her cards:
- [Change of Command], she effectively steals your creature.
She also has some 7/7 Lamia Warrior summons and 4/8's.
Setup:
- 3x Defense
- 1x Weaken
- 1x Comet
- 2x Fireball
- 1x Rock Wall
- 4x Orc Shaman
- 3x Kobold Shaman (to dispel her strong atk-buffs and [Change of Command])
- 1x Rain of Stones
Nuke her summons, then nuke her. Make sure you have enough [Orc Shaman]s to
dispel her [Change of Command] spell so she can not use your own creatures
against you (at least 2).
______________________________________________________________________________
Level up. I chose <Basic Concentration> because <Basic Luck> was not available
to chose.
Take the Shrine of Knowledge which teaches you the <Smoke Resistance> skill.
Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M04B04]
Enemy: Lamia Warlord
Specialty: Fortunate Offering
Loot: [Ethereal Resonance]
___________
The global debuff is gone so we can build our deck with Sorcery cards again.
Some of her card(s):
- [Greater Disenchant]: Removes all of the enchants in play. So stacking
offensive recycling spells won't really work unless you get lucky and manage
to kill her before she can cast this.
- [Curse of Hunger]
- [Greater Unsumnoning] (she has at least 3 of these...)
Setup
- 3x Geyser
- 2x Comet
- 3x Volcano
- 2x Supernova
- 2x Rift
- 1x Ethereal Resonance
- 2x Burning Graves
- 1x Fire Wave
So she doesn't like our summons? Okay fine she can eat our Sorcery:
Build up a lot of Ether channels really fast. Then nuke her summons. After
like 8 turns or something you should have 21+ channels. 2 [Comet]s, or 1
[Comet] + [Ethereal Resonance] (both cast on yourself but you must have enough
HP to survive it yourself) will kill her.
______________________________________________________________________________
Proceed into the next battle on the right (Ogre King):
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M04B05]
Enemy: Ogre King
Specialty: Dexterous Hands
Loot: [Ogre King] x3, [Smoke] x2, [Rage] x2

Use the same build as in the previous battle [M04B04]. This guy has a slow
deck allowing you to build up a really lot of Ether channels. Then kill him
with 1-2 [Comet]s + [Ethereal Resonance].
______________________________________________________________________________
Pick up the artifact <Amulet of Unity> (a very strong artifact).
Proceed into the next battle:

Use the same build as in [M04B04].

Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M04B07]
Enemy: Cyclops
Specialty: Magical Resonance
Loot: [Call Lightning] x4, [Cyclops] x3
___________
He uses flying walls, offensive spells and [Burning Graves] mainly. Later on
he uses 9/9 cyclops that can also throw rocks for 3 damage each by resting.
But by now your rats are like 9/9 too, if not higher.
Setup:
- 4x Stink Rat
- 4x Disease Rat
- 2x Plague Rat
- 2x Doom Rat
- 1x Anger
- 1x Crystal Ball (or replace it with [Rift] to counter his [Cyclop] cards)
- 2x Geyser
Use the Artifact <Amulet of Unity> on turn 3. Then summon at least 3 rats.
Their thoughness will get a +3 allowing them to survive most of the spells he
throws at you. You will lose some rats by his spells but you can summon more
than he can destroy. Just keep attacking and wear him down.
______________________________________________________________________________
Activate the <Altar of storms>.
Recharge your artifact.
Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M04B08]
Enemy: Evil Eye Mother
Specialty: Evil Eyes' Gaze
Loot: None
___________
Use the same build as in [M04B04]. Only this time replace one [Burning Grave]
and [Fire Wave] by two [Lightning Storm]'s.
That makes:
- 3x Geyser
- 2x Comet
- 3x Volcano
- 2x Supernova
- 2x Rift
- 1x Ethereal Resonance
- 1x Burning Graves
- 2x Lightning Storm
______________________________________________________________________________
Level up.
Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M04B09]
Enemy: Lamia Warlock
Specialty: Discriminating Unsummoning
Loot: [Ethereal Resonance] x2

She uses [Malison]. It discards 3 non-summon spells. Stick with the build from

______________________________________________________________________________
Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M04B10]
Enemy: Red Dragon
Specialty: Dragon Skin
Loot: None
___________
Because of his specialty you might not want to use [Ethereal Resonance] but
it's up to you. You can only lose if his passive kicks in just about every
time you cast your [Comet]. But especially if you have <Expert Supression> you
should be fine.
______________________________________________________________________________
Proceed into the next battle:
______________________________________________________________________________
Anchor: [M04B11]
Enemy: Antias
Specialty: Tenacious Hands
Loot: N/A
Note: This is the final boss for this campaign
___________
She uses summons with Life Tap and Regeneration. The deck from [M04B10] won't
work here. Even [Riot] won't help you because she will eventually discard
those with a spell.
Setup (req. Silicon Walls from the shop on this map):
- 1x Burning Graves (you need this because otherwise she will get her
creatures back from the graveyard.
- 1x Orc Shaman (dispel her [Life Channel])
- 3x Cyclops (use their Rest)
- 2x Riot (place it on her creatures, don't keep it in your hand be because of
her ability to discard your spells)
- 2x Geyser
- 2x Vulcano
- 2x Wall of Magma
- 1x Wall of Lava
- 1x Cannibalism
- 1x Defense
Kill the [Wizard Spirit]s and [Cleric Spirit]s first. They can bring those
warriors back from the graveyard into her hand. Make sure to dispel her
[Lifetap] whenever you can. [Lifetap] stacks and at some point if she
manages to regenerate a creature because you couldn't get the [Riot] onto it
she will regen 5 HP per [Lifetap]. When she has 3-5 creatures in her
graveyard use [Burning Graves]. But you kill her minions and her with your
[Cyclops]'s rest ability.
Her specialty can be nasty. Sometimes she summons like 6 creatures from one
card... If you happen to get that unlucky then just surrender and restart the
battle. If you have [Expert Supression] this shouldn't happen.
I didn't use any artifacts during this battle but it will make life a lot
easier if you do. She is quiet easy for being the final boss. Too bad we never
got any cards like [Greater Unsummoning].
