Armor Powers: Each Class has access to special abilities in addition to
unique weapon sets.
[ARMPW]
Battle: Uses Energy to activate his damage-absorbing shield. As the Battle
Armor rises in levels, the shield soaks up more and more damage,
[BTTL] eventually reaching the point where "Pesticide" explosions can be
survived if the Shield is being used.
As the Battle Armor Levels the shield ability improves (by absorbing
more and more damage), and the attacks become much stronger.
While the shield is active, Energy Regen will slow down, but not stop.
Any time you absorb damage, you will lose portions of your Energy.
(Bug Zapper)
Left Trigger + Y = An electric "shotgun" that can be toggled on/off.
While on, your Energy will slowly deplete, and any enemies who come
close to you will be damaged (and additional Energy will be lost).
This is a great way to kill Ticks, and it can be used in tandem with
weapon fire.
(Blast Wave)
Left Trigger + A = An explosive shockwave similar to the attack used
by Hector MK-2's when you get too close. Deals more damage the closer
the target is to the Battle Armor. Expends all of your Energy. This
attack deals the same damage regardless of how much Energy is left in
your reserves. Great for destroying Anthills.
Jet: Has the power of flight. As the Jet Armor rises in Rank, their flying
ability will improve along with their energy regeneration. Jet is the
[JT] only Armor that uses Energy while reloading their weapons. Higher
Ranks will lower the Energy consumed while reloading.
Tactical: The only class with access to Deployable Turrets, Mines, and
an advanced Radar function. Placing any of the above "holds"
[TCTCL] a certain amount of Energy, limiting the number of deployed
items out at once. As the Tactical Armor levels, it acquires
different and more powerful Turrets and Mines, as well as
additional slots (a max of 3 slots to equip utilities to).
Radar: Enemies will constantly show up on your mini-map instead of
once every few seconds.
Machine Gun Turret: A fast shooting, low damage turret that excels
at defeating low-health enemies.
Plasma Turret: Slow shooting, high damage and AOE turret that excels
at killing targets that are not fast moving.
Auto Cannon Turret: An improved version of the Machine Gun Turret.
It shoots bullets so quickly that it can stun
some enemies. Equally useful against all foes.
Rocket Turret: Slow shooting, high AOE damage. Typically more
accurate than the Plasma Turret against faster-moving
enemies, but less damage.
Missile Turret: Fires homing missiles at a slow rate. The best Turret
to use against fliers, fast-moving targets, and enemies
that are at a distance.
Contact Mine: Activates when an enemy touches it, or an explosion
occurs close by.
Proximity Mine: Like the Contact Mine, except it will detect enemies
and explode sooner than the Contact Mine.
Ant: The basic grunt of the Ravager forces. Has 2 attacks; a bite and an
acid spit. Acid Spit uses movement prediction to target you, so dodge
[ENMS] in any direction other than where you are currently moving to dodge.
Comes in a "Metal" variant later in the game, boasting increased Health
and damage.
Tick: Has the least health out of all the enemies. Latches on then explodes
after a set amount of time (higher difficulty = less time to shake off
and more damage dealt). Can be detached by mashing the "Y" button.
On Inferno, when Ticks latch on, I often choose to shoot a missile at
my feet rather than take the heavy damage from the Tick's attack.
Gunship: Low-Armored flying enemy. After spawning, they will either
strafe ground targets for minor damage, or stop moving
entirely to activate a focus-fire attack. When Gunships take
a certain amount of damage without being completely destroyed,
they will execute a Kamikaze attack.
Spider: Uses webbing to slow troopers, had a pounce attack, and may also bite
at close range. Also comes in a "Metal" variant later in the game.
Hector: Giant slow moving robot with 2 attacks. It's right arm fires a blast
of plasma with decent AOE, while it's left arm fires several small
rockets. It is possible to damage a Hector by shooting them anywhere.
Haven't tested whether they take more damage from shots placed on the
vents on their torso. May drop a Weapon when defeated.
Hectors have several Lock-On spots on their body. This means that
when you fire an weapon with multiple "Auto Locks" there is a good
chance that more than one will lock on to the Hector if you are
aiming at him.
Wasp: Giant flying menace. Spits corrosive acid, and also rarely employs
a ground tackle that can deal huge amounts of damage. If you are
disabled by a Wasp, only attacks from another Trooper can break the
Wasp's hold on you. Comes in a "Metal" variant later in the game.
May drop a weapon when defeated.
Carrier: Unit-Spawning Flyer that oddly resembles a human skull if you
look at it from directly beneath it. Only vulnerable when the
spawning bay doors are open. The red circle can be used as a
health indicator; Red = Full Health, Black = Almost Dead.
Bomber Spider: Giant Spider that constantly spawns Ticks. The Bomber Spider
will either; Charge you (dodge laterally to avoid), or
discharge giant orange globs of goo that explode to form Ticks.
May drop a weapon when defeated.
Mantis: Heavily armored enemy with multiple AOE attacks. Prefers to shoot a
large "half-circle" pulse of energy (which can be easily dodged by
moving closer or further from the Mantis), but can also Leap (dealing
AOE damage when it lands) and can cause AOE damage around itself by
using a charging attack. Always drops a weapon when defeated.
Daddy Long Legs: Huge Metal Spider capable of spawning units. Prefers
move in circles around an area. Can fire explosive
"Photon Torpedos", or use cutting lasers. Only
vulnerable when it's spawning bay is open. Always
drops a weapon when it is defeated.
Hector MK-2: A larger, more deadly form of Hector. Only vulnerable in the
large sphere on its chest. Employs 5 different attacks (not
including the AOE explosion that occurs when he is defeated).
It's right arm fires huge globes of Plasma Energy for an AOE
explosion, and has a "cutting" laser, while it's left arm
launches multiple salvos of missiles or employs a "machine
gun" barrage of plasma. Hector MK-2's are also capable of
performing an AOE shockwave if you get too close. Always drops
a weapon when defeated.
Queen Ant: Immobile beast capable of soaking up tons of damage and
spawning minions. She is first only vulnerable to damage on
a spot on her head. Once sufficient damage is dealt to her
first weak spot, it disappears and she then becomes vulnerable
only on the sides of her Gaster (thats the back part). Always
drops a weapon when defeated.
Mothership: Indestructable Flying Monstrosity. Rains down lasers.
Hopefully we'll get to fight it for real in DLC.

number of Players in the game.
Weapon Drops: There are four enemies that always drop weapons when they
are defeated; Daddy Long Legs, The Mantis, Hector MK-2
[EXPLN] (Large Hector), and the Queen Ant.
Hectors, Bomber Spiders, Wasps and Metal Wasps have a chance
to drop weapons. (No concrete info on drop rate probability
yet... I estimate the weapon drop rate to be about 50% for
Hectors and Bomber Spiders, and about 30-40% for Wasps and
Metal Wasps.
Carriers and Elite Carriers do not drop weapons, but they
should for how much ammo you have to spend on them.
There are some levels where Wasps/Metal Wasps will continue
to spawn until certain objectives are met (usually until a
certain Boss is defeated). Any Weapon Drop info marked with
"(+Variable)" indicates that I have confirmed Wasps will
continue to spawn if you let them.
Experience / Squad Member: This is a low-average figure representing
how much Experience each trooper could
expect to earn per mission. This figure can
and will be much higher and/or lower
depending on how quickly you dispose of
Anthills and Carriers.
The Experience values represent a playthrough
on "Normal" difficulty.

-1x Queen Ant
Lying in wait just beyond the raised earth in the distance is the
formidable? Queen Ant. Boasting a large reserve of health, and an
endless supply of Ant and Wasp minions, she is more of a hassle than
a challenge.
The Queen Ant's first vulnerable spot is just above her head. Once
enough damage is dealt to that spot, the next weak point is on the
sides of the Queen's Gaster (thats the fat part in the back).
In addition to the 4 Anthills that will spawn enemies until they are
closed, several ants will burrow up from under the ground to help their
Queen. Also, Metal Wasps will continually spawn from behind the Queen
Ant in groups of 3. If you are having trouble with the Queen, I
recommend sealing all of the Anthills first, then killing all but one
Metal Wasp to prevent them from respawning.
