MIRACLE/DISCIPLE GUIDE

Note: 'Tis a note. You'll see many much of these. Listen to them, and wiser
you shall become.

Note: Each section has "Asparagus[insert number here]" at the start of it.
These are also listed below. Hit Ctrl+F, type in said phrase, and you'll get
where you need to get.
Note: Go ahead and read this. You may learn something.
As you've probably seen, B&W2 ain't too descriptive about it's Miracles and
Disciples. So, I have taken pity on mortals and decided to stop chucking them
into the Aztec creature pen to let them learn how to do what I do. You will
recieve detailed descriptions of what stuff does, how it does it, and why
exactly you should care. If you don't want that, then go to Mickey D's so I
can burn it.
Note: Everything is cooler when it burns. I'm sure my evil conscience would
agree heartily on this opinion.

INTERFACE
\\\\\\\\\\
Asparagus2
In case you're one of those people who reads up on how to beat games before
you even touch them, this will kinda describe how you move around and do
stuff. Like burn things.
Note: All of these controls are the default ones. You can change them, and if
you wanted to you probably already have, but whatever.
Mouse: Use it to move your godly hand around. After you've bought Hand
Forcing, you can use it to smash up stuff and rub stuff off the ground while
holding the Left Mouse Button.
Left Mouse Button: Do stuff. Pick up stuff, throw stuff, feed stuff to your
Creature, throw stuff into fires, etc.
Right Mouse Button: Move around, or double-click to auto-zoom into the desired
area.
Middle Mouse Wheel: In case you don't have one of these, you're probably gonna
need to change the controls. Otherwise, scroll it to zoom in and out. Click
it to rotate and pitch your view.
Arrow Keys: Move around a little more easily. The camera and your hand will
move at the same time.
F5: Bring up your Miracle menu. Why do I list that and not anything else?
'Cause I don't care about anything else.
Throwing stuff: To throw a Miracle or unsuspecting villager, pick 'em up by
clicking on 'em, then hold the Left Mouse Button down, move fast in desired
trajectory, and release.

MIRACLES
\\\\\\\\\
Asparagus3
As can be clearly seen, this will tell you stuff about Miracles.
---------------
WATER MIRACLE
---------------
Asparagus31
Get things wet. Drown people. Make food, then take it away. Whee!
Mana Cost: 750
Throwing: Makes a big explostion of water, drenching anything within radius.
Good for watering fields quickly or cooling lava.
Pouring: Slowly pours the same amount of water contained in an explosion.
Good for watering trees, or many fields at once.
Creature: It looks cooler when your Creature does it. He uses it to
extinguish burning people or buildings, or water fields and trees.
--------------
FIRE MIRACLE
--------------
Asparagus32
The opposite of water. Get things on fire. Burn people. Set your Storehouse
on fire, and watch the villagers suffer.
Mana Cost: 2,000
Throwing: Flings a bunch of condensed flame into a small ball. When it
explodes, everything within radius will be set on fire. Try launching it into
an enemy village, and watch them run around and squirm. It also works for
getting rid of catapults.
Pouring: Dumps a bunch of fire onto whatever you want. Great for spreading
death onto multiple platoons.
Creature: The Creature will always use it in the Throwing variation.
My personal favorite. However you use it, it's guaranteed to really cause
some death, doom, destruction, gore, and bloody murder. If you count out
those last two things.
Mana Cost: 5,000
Throwing: Basically throwing a thundercloud. After the first bounce, it will
rain lightning down on whatever happens to be passing by. When it explodes,
the bolts will be sustained for a good while, making it great for taking out
huge platoons a good distance away or hurting the enemy Creature.
Pouring: Sends a constant stream of lightning down on whatever is stupid
enough to pass under you at the time. Even better for hurting the enemy
Creature.
Creature: He'll throw it, but it'll explode on impact instead of bouncing.
Thankfully, the Creature has a lot better aim than your hand does.
--------------
HEAL MIRACLE
--------------
Asparagus34
Make people feel better. Many think this is a do-goodie only Miracle, but you
can use it to heal your Creature after a big battle.
Mana Cost: 1,000
Throwing: Heals everything within a certain radius.
Pouring: You get about a second to pour, but everything that you poured on
gets healed. This is only for good people.
Creature: He can either heal himself in battle, or heal some villagers.
Whether he's good or evil, he should have this.
Launch about 20 big flaming rocks down to destroy whatever is in your way. A
purely evil Miracle.
Mana Cost: More than 4,999 and less than 5,001
Throwing: A red circle will appear when it lands. After about a second, a
bunch of meteors will annihilate what was once there. Tears down enemy walls
faster than you can say "pickled cabbage." Literally.
Pouring: You gotta be quick when you do this. About 6 circles will appear
wherever you dragged; About 2 meteors will fall in each circle. Less
destruction, but in a wider area.

EPICS

Asparagus37
By far the most fun part of B&W2. Watch the enemy city be completely
eliminated by a huge volcano, or watch a big blue person with shiny hair turn
soldiers into your own villagers to provide more slave labor. Who can argue
with that? Just remember that you can't put it in enemy influence.
:SIREN:
Asparagus371
This will take any enemy platoons in the area and convert them into your own
villagers! When you're holding it, you'll see a big circle. Only the
platoons in this radius will get converted. But if they do, they'll just
stare blankly, then get hit with blue stuff, Indiana Jones style.
Used by: Japanese Brother 1 and Aztec Desert Outpost
:HURRICANE:
Asparagus372
Actually, it's more of a tornado. It'll suck up all villagers and houses it
passes by, then kill the villagers, and convert the buildings into little
chunks of unusable wood.
Used by: Japanese Brother 2
:EARTHQUAKE:
Asparagus373
The ground will tear apart, and anyone and anything near will get sucked into
an abyss of lava and death. Or something like that. If you put it right next
to an enemy influence, it'll go ahead and go in and destroy anything near.
Used by: Japanese Brother alliance
:VOLCANO:
Asparagus374
The most destructive and cool-looking Epic, by a longshot. A giant volcano
will rise, already destroying any buildings it comes up on. Then, it'll blow
up, and a bunch of lava will come out and burn up any villagers that were on
the rising mountain, plus a bunch of buildings and people a good while outside
of it. Even if you stick a Water Miracle right on top, lava will continue to
flow.
Used by: Aztec Leader
//////////
DISCIPLES
\\\\\\\\\\
Asparagus4
When you live villagers alone, they'll just do what they need to survive. But
that's no fun, is it? If you stick them down, they'll perform mindless labor
for the rest of their lives, without exception.
---------
BUILDER
---------
Asparagus41
These guys will erect your buildings. They're still slow, but a heck of a lot
faster than the average villager.
When to use them: At the beginnings of your city.
When not to use them: Any other time, unless you're making a huge expansion.
--------
FARMER
--------
Asparagus42
All they'll do is get grain and bring it to your Storehouse. Though this
seems pretty useless, a bunch of food will be necessary to keep your people
alive, and even more will be needed if you want to support armies.
When to use them: All the time.
When not to use them: Okay, I lied. If you REALLY need other stuff, AND you
have plenty of food, you can give these guys a break for a while.
----------
FORESTER
----------
Asparagus43
Foresters will chop up trees and give you wood, and plant new ones and help
them grow. Not to vital, but handy in a wood shortage.
When to use them: When your influence is really small and you can't reach the
trees yourself, or when you're very low on wood.
When not to use them: When you're overflowing on wood and need Farmers or
anyone else.
------------
WORSHIPPER
------------
Asparagus44
The second most important Disciple, these guys provide you with the power to
use the Miracles described earlier, and you need about 50 to launch an Epic.
When to use them: Make sure you have at least 10 in an Altar at all times, and
plenty at a Wonder.
When not to use them: Never. You will need them. Always.
------------
MINEWORKER
------------
Asparagus45
These guys get the ore you can't, and therefore they're EXTREMELY important.
When to use them: Whenever you don't have at least 1 Storehouse full of ore.
When not to use them: When you're overflowing.
---------
BREEDER
---------
Asparagus46
Breeders are all about the horizontal mamba. They'll shag like there's no
tomorrow, and they're proud of it. They are the most important Disciple, and
I say so not because I'm sick and twisted, but because you need these guys to
reproduce. Just make sure they're all males. Females tend to never pop out
the young if they're Disciple-ified.
When to use them: ALL THE TIME!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!
When not to use them: KILL THAT PHRASE!!!! YOU WILL NEVER NOT USE THESE!!!
..</spaz>
---------
REFINER
---------
Asparagus47
The least important Disciple, Refiners work in Granaries, Smelters, and
whatever that wood place is. It's perfectly possible to beat the game without
ever building one of these, and therefore only use them if you're a major
resource-conservatory freak.
When to use them: When you're running really short on resources
When not to use them: Pretty much any other time

FAQ
\\\\
Asparagus5
As I'm still hunting for an e-mail address, these questions are not actual
reader questions. Just stuff you'll probably whine about anyway.
Q: You forgot the [insert something here] Disciple!
A: That ain't a question. Either way, I keep thinking I missed one, but next
time just send in ye olde contribution. And by the way, Soldiers are NOT
Disciples!
Q: Are you going to update the guide regularly?
A: No.
Q: Are you going to update the guide at all?
A: Yes.
Q: Can you give me help with my math homework?
A: If this guide was about math homework. Which it's not.
Q: I hate you! You stole my guide idea!
A: Thanks. I love dumb hate mail.
