Chapter 1: The Guide's Timeline
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

02/24/2014: The Guide's birth.

04/10/2014: Finally started working on the guide.  Worked on some of the main
guide though.

04/12/2014: Worked on the guide some more.  Got most of the main guide done,
but not all of it.

04/13/2014: Worked on the guide even more.  Almost finished off the main
guide.

04/14/2014: Worked on the guide even still.

04/25/2014: Got the Main Guide's done.  Now to do the details and make and all
final touches to the guide.

04/27/2014: The guide's all done and summited to GameFAQs.

05/02/2014: Added another piece of advice that I've just thought of and
corrected a grammer error.  Nothing special other than that.

******************************************************************************

Hey Guys, welcome to my next guide in my series of works.  As you can tell
from my user name, my name is Gamer364.  This guide is designed to help
players get all of the achievements (or trophies for PS3 players) in this
game.  I've noticed that this site (GameFAQs) didn't have an
Achievement/Trophy guide, so I decided to make one (especially since I have
the game for the PS3).  Not much of a reason that I can think of other than
that and I tried to keep my intros short anyway, so let's just move along with
the guide.

Warring: This guide can and will contain spoilers.  I will do my best to not
spoill stuff from the game, but sometimes it just can not be helped, so read
at your own risk.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
                   Chapter 3: Achievement/Trophy Overview
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Achievement/Trophy difficulty: 1.5/5 (Personal Estimate)

Number of Achievements for the Original (Xbox 360): 12

Number of Achievements for the Director's Cut (PC): 59

Number of Trophies (PS3): 60

Least amount of playthroughs to get all Achievements/Trophies

The Original (Xbox 360): 3

The Director's Cut (PS3 and PC): 1

Number of Missable Achievements/Trophies

The Original (Xbox 360): 1 (The only missable one is the one for collecting
all of the game's trading cards)

The Director's Cut (PS3 and PC): 50 (All of the side-quests
achievements/trophies are (in theory) missable.  However, you can use chapter
select for the side-quest achievements/trophies, so non of them can truly be
missed)

Details: Before I go into the details itself, there are 2 different versions
of this game: The Original (which is exclusive to the Xbox 360 in countries
outside Japan (where it's known as "Red Seeds Profile")) and the Director's
Cut version (the latter of which this guide's based on).  The main differences
I see between the 2 versions is that...

1. The Director's Cut has cutscenes that weren't available in the Original
(mainly the in between Episode cutscenes) as well as an extended ending.

2. The controls were apparently updated well as the graphics are a bit
brighter in the Director's Cut (as well as having text that's a bit too quick,
but I think that's because they just brought the Japan version over and gave
it English text, at least in the US).

3. In the Original, you'll have to pick one of 3 difficulty options (Easy,
Normal and Hard).  The Director's Cut version doesn't even have a difficulty
option and just throws you straight into the game.

Other than that, the game's the same.  That said...

When you boot the game up (and gone through the Trophy and Data install in the
case of the PS3 version), you'll be presented with the option to start a "New
Game" and mess around with the game's options.  If you have a Save File
already (which I assume that you don't, but just saying), "Load Game" should
also be an option (as well as the Special menu if you've beaten the game
already).  When you click "New Game" one of 2 things should happen:

If you're playing the Xbox 360 version (or the PS3 Japan version): You'll
choose one of three difficulty options and then the game will start.

If you're playing the Director's Cut version: You'll just get thrown straight
into the game.

Reguardless, you'll just be playing through the game.  Apparently, you are
Francis York Morgon (or York for short) and you have an invisible buddy named
Zach.  You work for the FBI and you are sent to Greenvale to investgate the
murder of Anna Graham.  If you're playing the Original Xbox 360 version,
you'll be doing 3 investgations (playthroughs).  The reason for this is that
the difficulty achievements don't stack for some stupid reason.  If you're
playing the Director's cut version, you'll only need 1.

Here's some advice reguardless of which version you're playing:

1. Find and Collect at least 32 trading cards.  When Chapter 7 roles around,
The Panda Bear Gun Shop will open up (from a certain time to a certain time of
course, refer to the final paragraph for the time).  The owner of the store
will want you to show him a collection of cards and if you have that many on
you at that time, He'll hand over the Passion Red Suit which ups your total
health by a certain amount (you'll have to restore some of it yourself, as it
won't automaticly do it though).

2. Before Chapter 8 roles around (or maybe during that chapter), make sure you
have 7 Bones on you.  When the said chapter roles around, Whille will
(indirectly) have a side-quest for you when he smells at least one bone on you
and the Prize for it is the Infinte Magnum if you have all 7.  If you have
less then that however, you'll end up getting the Sword instead.  The Bones
themselfs are hidden through out Greenvale, so you'll have to look around a
bit.

3. I've managed to get by without needing this item, but if you were to do the
3 Cooking Side-quests for Emily (a cop who for the Sheiff's Department),
she'll hand over the Weather Doll (after the 3rd) which if the doll's
"settings" are correct, it'll restore your health.  The catch with this
side-quest series in general is that you can only do it on 3 different
occasions (and by that, I mean chapters, but you can replay the same chapter
if you have to).

4. For situations where the game will tell you to wiggle the control stick, I
find that rotating the control stick will produce the same results, which is
handy for those long as heck chase scenes.

5. I forgot to mention this as I was writing this, but when it comes to
weapons in this game, the Gun will be your best choice for combat purposes
(especially the Magnum).  The reason for this is that the Melee Weapons are
either too short or too slow and are only good for breaking stuff for items
(or at least in my opinion).  The only possible excemption to this is the
Sword you get for completing a certain side-quest within the certain
condition, but I'll need to determine if this weapon's the only melee weapon
worth using in combat as I've have yet to use it at this time.

That's all of the advice I can think of at this time.  If I can think of
anything else, or if someone gives me some advice, I'll update the guide with
them.  That said, their's a nasty, game-breaking glitch in here and it's
called the "Disappearing Key Item Bug".  I 1st read about this in
QueenAdreena's walkthrough, but according to RARusk's walkthrough, it can rear
it's ugly head in any chapter that just happens to have a Key Item in it.
These chapters are as follows:

02 - Sheriff Office
03 - Autopsy Report
05 - Murder Site
08 - Muses Gallery
09 - A&G
10 - The 2nd Sacrifice
12 - Fallen Goddess
22 - The Throne of Abyss
23 - Dawn

Apparently, if you were to have a Key Item on you, but you decided to save and
quit at anytime after collecting the said item, it'll disappear when you
reenter the game, but the item will not be where you found it at.  When that
happens, the game will be rendered unbeatable for that playthrough.  The only
countermeasure to this bug is to make sure you don't Save and Quit during any
of these chapters.  If you end up doing just that, then the only cure is to
start a brand new game.  This sucks on the Xbox 360 version since you already
have to playthrough the game 3 times as it is (no thanks to the fact none of
the diffculty achievments stack).  What's worse is that this bug did not get
fixed in the Director's Cut version of this game.  Thankfully, this bug
doesn't glitch out any of the game's achievements (or trophies if you're
playing the PS3 version), so you don't have much to worry about as far as that
goes.  That said, just complete the game (3 times on the 360, once on the
Director's Cut and the PS3 Japan "Red Seeds Profile") and you're done.*  If
you're having a hard time going through the game, here's a couple of
walkthroughs to help you out below:

http://www.gamefaqs.com/xbox360/943397-deadly-premonition/faqs/59531
Guide Created by QueenAdreena and assumes that you're playing the Xbox 360
version.

*Just make sure at some point during one of your 3 playthroughs that you
collect all of the Trading Cards around Greenvale for the sake of the Trading
Card achievement.

Here's a couple of maps to help you through out you're journey.  The 1st will
simply help you get around Greenvale better than the in-game map will.  The
2nd is their because the Trading Cards are not in the 1st map.  These maps
were made jekoln and both of them assume that you're playing the Xbox 360
version of this game.

Trading Cards Map

The 1st map menitons the times for each of the game's stores you can visit,
but not all of them are mentioned.  Muses Gallery is open in chapter 9, is run
by Diane Ames and is open from 10:00 to 17:00 (or 10:00am to 5:00pm) and it
closes somewhere during the 2 times (but reopens at 15:00).  Sometime after
chapter 12 comes to a close however, it'll no longer be open.  Their's also a
place called Panda Bear which is open in chapter 7, is open from 20:00 to
06:00 (or 8:00pm to 6:00am) and is run by Wesley the Gunsmith.  Unlike Muses
Gallery, once it's open, it's open for the rest of the game.  Also, it's open
2 chapters sooner then Muses Gallery.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-     Chapter 4: The Game's Achievements/Trophies and How to unlock them     -
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: As seen in the Overview above, the game's achievements on the Original
Xbox 360 are different from the ones in The Director's Cut in the PS3 and PC
versions of the game (the former having Trophies for reasons that should be
crystal clear to you).  I'm going to start with the achievements/trophies that
the Original and the Director's Cut share, then I'm going to list off the ones
that are exclusive to the Original and then the ones exclusive to the
Director's Cut.

The Achievements/Trophies the Orignial and the Director's Cut share

A. Prologue Cleared
Description (Original): Prologue completed.
Description (Director's Cut): FBI Special Agent Francis York Morgan.  Please,
just call me York.
Gamerscore: 50G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed.  The Prologue chapter is called
"York & Zach".  This chapter's nothing more than a tutorial to help you
understand how this game works.  Go through the tutorial and you'll make it
out of the forest.  You just need to make your way over to the police car to
end the Prologue.

B. Episode 1 Cleared
Description (Original): Completed Episode 1.
Description (Director's Cut): George, the perpetrator is just like you.  He's
passionate about women.  He's a passionate kisser.  This was a "kiss of
death."
Gamerscore: 50G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed.  This episode is made of the
following chapters listed below:

A. 01 - First day of Investigation
B. 02 - Sheriff Office*
C. 03 - Autopsy Report*
D. 04 - Profiling
E. 05 - Murder Site*
F. 06 - Greenvale Inhabitants
G. 07 - Dinner

*The marked chapters suffers from the "Disappearing Key Item" glitch.

Here are some hints you could use in this episode (if you're not using a
walkthrough of course):

1. When you are at the Sheriff's office in Chapter 2, Thomas will as you to
find a key for him.  The key you're looking for is hidden in one of the cells
downstairs.

2. At some point during Chapter 3, you'll have to take on a chess puzzle.
To find your answer to the puzzle, read the sentence that pops up closely.

3. During Chapter 5, their will be a couple of times where you'll need to hide
from the killer.  I suggest you don't hide in the lockers because their's a
chance that the killer will check their.  Don't forget to hold your breath
with RT (Xbox 360), R2 (PS3) or a certain key on the PC (not sure which one
exactly) when prompted.

C. Episode 2 (Part 1) Cleared
Description (Original): Completed Episode 2 (part 1).
Description (Director's Cut): So Becky is Miss Stiletto Heel.  And she gave
the locket to the twins...  Must be the "special secret" Lilly told us about,
Zach.
Gamerscore: 50G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed.  This episode is made of the
following chapters listed below:

A. 08 - Muses Gallery
B. 09 - A&G
C. 10 - The 2nd Sacrifice

All 3 of these chapters suffer from the "Disappearing Key Item" glitch, so
don't save and quit during any of these chapters.  That said, here are some
hints you could use in this episode (if you're not using a walkthrough of
course):

1. In Chapter 8, and if you haven't already, make sure you collect the 7 bones
hidden around Greenvale.  If you've collected at least 1 bone, but less then
7, make sure you avoid Willie the Dog until you've found all 7.  If you get
too close to him and you have less then 7 bones, then you'll find a Sword in
Whillie's Dog House instead of the Infinite .357 Magnum.  If you've found all
7 however, then the said Magnum will be in the Dog House.

2. Sometime during Chapter 10, you'll have to hide from the killer again.
Find someplace to hide (I don't think it matters as much as it did the 1 of
the 2 times before) and hold you're breath when prompted.

D. Episode 2 (Part 2) Cleared
Description (Original): Completed Episode 2 (part 2).
Description (Director's Cut): Zach, Diane has become the third victim of our
killer.  And nada from questioning Nick...  Nothing.  Got no new leads from
questioning Nick.
Gamerscore: 50G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed.  This episode is made of the
following chapters listed below:

A. 11 - Lost Child
B. 12 - Fallen Goddess*
C. 13 - Past

*The marked chapter suffers from the "Disappearing Key Item" glitch.

Here are some hints you could use in this episode (if you're not using a
walkthrough of course):

Note: These hints are all related to Chapter 12.

1. When you are tailing Nick, try to make it so the text above Nick's Car is
Blue.  Don't want Nick to suppect anything do you?

2. When dealing with Wall Crawlers (which also appear in another side quest),
3 shots from the Infinite Magnum will do the trick.  Just make sure the foe is
not invisible when you try to shoot it.  If you don't have the Magnum (even
though I told you to get it in chapter 8), the shotgun might be your next best
bet.  Oh and make sure you dodge the crawler's attacks when it's on the ground
when prompted (which would be (I think) B on the 360 and () on the PS3).

3. When dealing with the puzzle involving the Apple statues, you have shoot
them down from the tree (the Wesley Special will help out with this if you've
done the "Seven Bones" and "Ghost House Treasure" Side Quests) to put
them near the correct paintings.  The Green Apple belongs with the painting
of a baby and the Ripe Apple belongs to with the painting of an Old Man.  I
think you'll know where the Red Apple goes just by reading the sentence before
this one.  Oh and you're under a time limit, so you better do all this quickly
or York will go nuts.

E. Episode 3 Cleared
Description (Original): Completed Episode 3.
Description (Director's Cut): Zach, OK.  So it's not bonus footage, it's still
part of the main feature.  The perpetrator is exactly who I thought it was.
Gamerscore: 50G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed.  This episode is made of the
following chapters listed below:

A. 14 - Tea Break
B. 15 - Red Seeds
C. 16 - Hidden Memories
D. 17 - New Raincoat Killer
E. 18 - The 13th Bell
F. 19 - Apartment
G. 20 - Cruel Device

Non of these chapters suffer from the "Disappearing Key Item" glitch, so you
can save and quit during these 7 chapters.  That said, here are some hints you
could use in this episode (if you're not using a walkthrough of course):

1. In Chapter 14, head into rooms 3, 5 and 6 for the 3 Umbrellas.  They are
needed for a puzzle you're in the middle of.

2. In Chapter 15, in order to unlock a door, 1 statue has to be in the 4th
column of Row 10 while the other 2 need to be in Row 20 and in columns 3 and
6 respectivly.

3. You'll have to hide from the killer at some point during chapter 20.  Make
sure you hold your breath when prompted to do so.

F. Episode 4 Cleared
Description (Original): Completed Episode 4.
Description (Director's Cut): Ah, right, he doesn't have a "tattoo" on his
back.  But there is a "pattern" there.
Gamerscore: 50G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed.  This episode is made of the
following chapters listed below:

A. 21 - Cat Fight
B. 22 - The Throne of Abyss*

*The marked chapter suffers from the "Disappearing Key Item" glitch.

Here's a hint you could use in this episode (if you're not using a walkthrough
of course): In Chapter 22, you'll find that their's a door you need to get to,
but it's locked behind a jail cell.  The keys you will need to find are 6 and
5.

Their's a boss fight that takes place in Chapter 21, so here's a guide for
this boss.

Boss Fight: Thomas MacLaine

You'll be Emily (one of the cops that works for the Greenvale Police Station)
and you'll be using her custom 9mm gun for this fight.  You will have to shoot
the boss while he's jumping around from one gear to another.  I find this to
be easier said then done because he moves around so much.  There are quite a
few quick-time events that the boss will throw at you from time to time, but
they shoudn't slow you down much.  This boss only has one phase to him, so
just take your time, aim carefully and shoot.

G. Episode 5 Cleared
Description (Original): Completed Episode 5.
Description (Director's Cut): Zach, I need you to pray with me.  Pray that
things have not gone too far.  All we can do is go to the location written in
Kaysen's letter.
Gamerscore: 50G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed.  This episode is made of the
following chapters listed below:

A. 23 - Dawn*
B. 24 - Red Tree

*The marked chapter suffers from the "Disappearing Key Item" glitch.

No hints that I can think of for this epsiode, but their's a boss fight that
takes place in Chapter 23, so here's a guide for this boss.

Boss Fight: The Raincoat Killer

You will have to shoot the boss in his back as this is where his weak spot is.
I find the Magnum does a lot of damage, so use that.  This boss has 3 phases
to him.  If in the 2nd phase you are having trouble hitting his back, switch
to the Shotgun (perferablily, the Infinite Shotgun) to try to hit him.  In the
3rd phase, you are left unable to move beyond aiming with your gun.  I'm not
sure if this is glitch, but all you need to do is to shoot the slow moving Axe
the boss throws at you until a cutscene takes over.

H. Episode 6 Cleared
Description (Original): Completed Episode 6.
Description (Director's Cut): My name is York.  Me and you, we'll always be
together.  OK, Zach?  I'm you, and you are me.  Now, give me your hand.
Gamerscore: 50G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed.  Their's only 1 chapter in this
chapter and it's called "Zach Morgan".  You'll be runing around the as the
*censored due to spoilers* at 1st.  Once you see a timer appear on screen
(which appears after a cutscene) make a mad dash for the target a full speed.
Time is not exactly on your side, so make sure you don't waste it killing
anyone, or you won't make it.  You'll then assume the role of York.  Don't
kill anyone on your way inside the community center, or York will go nuts.
Once inside, you'll be in a white room.  Do whatever you have to in here and
exit through the door.  When given the choice, select the 3rd option to start
the final boss fight.

Boss Fight: The Final Boss

I'm not going to mention the boss' name for the sake of spoilers, but let's
just say that this boss is the reason why York and his invisible buddy Zach
are going through this nightmare in the 1st place.  Anyway, this boss has 3
phases to him.  For phase 1 (and his 3rd one for that matter), the Magnum will
be you're best bet to doing damage to him quickly.  Once you damage him
enough, avoid his rolling attack and countinue to shoot him.  Once he gets
back up, repeat the 1st two sentences until his health is gone.

Once that happens, the 2nd phase will start.  All you need to do is to just
run away from the boss.  It'll go on for awhile, but if you just rotate the
left control stick like it's mentioned in chapter 3 of the guide, the only
other thing you need to worry about is to hit the button prompts to dodge the
boss' attacks.

Once you make it through the 2nd phase, the 3rd and final one will start.  You
just need to Avoid the shockwaves he shoots at you and shoot the doll in his
hand.  When he hides the doll in his chest pocket, wait for him to slam his
fist down, run up to him, climb on his fist.  When you get to his shoulder,
shoot the doll to end the fight.  If you find this difficult to pull off with
the Magnum, switch to the Submachine gun to hit it that way.

Gamerscore: 200G
Trophy Color: N/A
Guide: The "Game Completed on *insert difficulty setting here*!" achievements
are not stackable, so you'll have to beat the game on each of the 3 difficulty
settings.  If you were to pick up the Infinite Magnum  in chapter 8 and showed
Wesley 32 trading cards to pick up the Passion Red suit in chapter 7, the game
on any of these difficulty settings shouldn't be too hard if at all.  All that
said, these 3 achievements are story-related, so they can't be missed.  You
just need to beat the game on each of the 3 difficulty settings.  In order to
finish the game, make your way back to the Hotel York was staying in, opt to
talk and when given the choice, pick the 1st one.

L. Collected all trading cards!
Description (Original): Recovered all the trading cards.
Description (Director's Cut): N/A
Gamerscore: 150G
Trophy Color: N/A
Guide: This game has a total of 65 trading cards hidden through out Greenvale.
Their are some in the game that can obtained through side-quests but a good
majority of them you're going to have to find on your own.  Here's a trading
card guide listed below to help you out if you need help getting a certain
card.

The Director's Cut Exclusive Achievements/Trophies

Note: This part will display the trophies for the PS3 version of the game, but
they should still apply to the PC version (except for the Platinum which is
exclusive to the PS3 version).

M. Episode 7 CLEARED
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Then this is goodbye, Zach.  Thank you for
everything.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Gold
Guide: Pretty much the same as the "Completed game on *insert difficulty
setting here*!" achievements listed in the 360 exclusive achievements, but
this version of the game has no difficulty setting to speak of.  That said,
this one's story-related and the only thing you need to do is to just finish
the final chapter which is simply called "Epilogue".  As I stated in the
"Game completed on Hard!" achievement on the Xbox 360, make your way back to
the Hotel York was staying in, opt to talk and when given the choice, pick the
1st one to finish the game.

N. Lost Arnold
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): George has lost his beloved [Arnold] somewhere
in the Sheriff's Office.  He can't train without him!  Find what he's looking
for and get it back to him.  Help him get his groove back.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: For all of the trophies related to the side-quests, I will of course
tell you what you should do for each trophy like I've done in all of the other
guide I've done in the past and currently working on as of right now.  I will
also tell you what chapters this quest can be done on, what the requirements
are (if any), what you'll end up getting as a reward for completing the quest,
what quest it'll unlock (if it applies) and if you're playing the Xbox 360
version, tell you rather or not you should do the side-quest.  For the 4th,
their are some quests thatyou won't be able to take on right away.  If I tell
you that this is the case, you'll either have to replay the chapter the quest
is in or play the next chapter the side-quest is on in order to do the next
quest in the series.  As for the 5th, I'll tell you this in one of these 4

I may end up combinding some of these for one reason or another.  That said,
you can either look at one of the two walkthroughs I've had listed in chapter
3 of the guide or you can look at the side quest guide below for this and all
of the other side quest below

http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=209913
Note: Guide Written by ThrawnOmega and assumes that you're playing the Xbox
360 version of the game.

All that said, this trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same
name.  Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 4
Chapter Available: 2-4, 6-9 and 11-13
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Trading Card #49 (Arnold and Slyvester)
Unlocks: Nameless Flower
Original Xbox 360 Version: Recommended (Leads to another Side-Quest with a
useful item and you get a Trading Card out of it)

At any time during in the Sheiff's Office (you get your 1st chance during
Chapter 2), find George Woodman and he'll tell you that one of his dumbbells
that he calls "Arnold" is missing.  The Dumbbell can be found over in the
Kitchen.  Find the Dumbbell and give it to him and he'll hand over a Trading
Card.

O. Nameless Flower
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): George's mother is sick and so he wants to get
her favorite flower for her.  Find the [Flower with No Name] that only blooms
in the rain and take it to George when he's at home after 21:00.

Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 5
Chapter Available: 2-4, 6-9 and 11-13

Reward: Radio (Allows York to Fast Travel to one place to another under the
condition that he has been to the said location before)
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Recommended (Replay Chapter 2 or get it during
Chapter 3; you'll want this item ASAP)

This is not something you're not going to be able to do right away (especially
if you did "Lost Arnold" in chapter 2), so you'll either have to replay the
chapter in question, or play the next one (i.e. Chapter 3).  That said, at any
time after 21:00 (9:00pm) and when it's raining, George will be at his home.
Head on over their and knock on his door and he'll tell you that his Mom's
sick and wants to get his favorite flower for her.  The flower in question is
the "Flower with No Name" and it can only be found when it's raining.  Find
the Flower's location, pick it up and bring it back to George (when he's
actually in his house of course).  Give the flower to him and he'll hand over
the Radio.

P. Nice Try Cooking
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Emily only ever cooks at home on evenings when
it is raining.  Find the "Fermented Dairy Products" that she needs for her
next dish and help her out.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 6
Chapter Available: 2-4, 6-8 and 11-13
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Hawaiian Blue Suit
Unlocks: Another Nice Try Cooking
Original Xbox 360 Version: Semi-Optional/Trading Card (Completing this quest
will lead to 2 other Side-Quests and the one after this one gives you a
Trading Card)

Before you pursue the "Cooking" side-quests, make sure you have the following
food items in your inventory to make this go by faster (and make sure you
don't eat the last one or you'll have to buy more):

1. Cheddar Cheese
2. Onion
3. Egg
4. Country Ham
5. Hollandaise Sauce

I know some of these food items are not available for purchase until later on
in the game, so only worry about having the 1st two on you until the other 3
become available (unless you can find them).  That said...

At any time after 19:00 (7:00pm) and when it's raining, Emily Wyatt will be at
her home.  Head on over their and knock on her door and you'll be let in.
Talk to her and she'll tell you that she needs something that's she discribes
as "Fermented Dairy Products".  The item in question is Cheese and you should
already have it so talk to her and give her the Cheese.  During a cutscene,
she'll hand over the the Suit.

Q. Another Nice Try Cooking
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Emily only ever cooks at home on evenings when
it is raining.  Find the "Vegetables that become sweet when heated" that she
needs for her next dish and help her out.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 7
Chapter Available: 2-4, 6-8 and 11-13
Requirements: The "Nice Try Cooking" sidequest must be completed
Reward: Trading Card #52 (Indistrial Waste)
Unlocks: Memorable Cooking
Original Xbox 360 Version: Trading Card

You won't be able to do this quest right after the last one, so you'll have to
either replay the chapter you did it in or play the next chapter the quest is
in.  That said and much like the "Nice Try Cooking" Side-Quest before this
one, you need to be at Emily's house at 19:00 and when it's raining.  When you
are at her house again, talk to her and she'll want you to give her something
that she discribes as "Vegetables that become sweet when heated".  The item in
question this time is the Onion and you should already have it, so talk to her
and give her the Onion.  During the cutscene, she'll hand over the Trading
Card.

R. Memorable Cooking
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Find the "Something chewy and salty" "something
soft with two colors" "Yellow Sauce" that Emily needs for her next dish and
help her out.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 8
Chapter Available: 6-8 and 11-13*
Requirements: The "Nice Try Cooking" and "Another Nice Try Cooking" sidequests
must be completed
Reward: Weather Doll (It restores York's health when the doll's "settings" is
the same as Greenvale's current weather condtions
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Semi-Optional

*This side-quest is available in Chapter 4 as well, but the food items you
need are not available until later on in the game, so it's not really worth
mentioning.

Much like the the last Side-Quest, you won't be able to take on this one right
after you do "Another Nice Try Cooking" and even if you could, you don't have
the food items you need to do this side-quest.  Because of the latter, you'll
have to play on until the food items you need become available and pursue the
side-quest in the next available chapter.  All that said, you need to be at
Emily's house at 19:00 and when it's raining.  Before you try to make it rain
though, make sure you have the Egg, Country Ham and Hollandaise Sauce food
items in your inventory and if you're missing even 1 of these food items, buy
the items you're missing at the Milk Barn.  When you are at her house for the
3rd and final time (at least for this series of side-quests), talk to her and
she'll want you to give her 3 things this time.  She discribes them as
"Something chewy and salty", "Something soft with two colors" and "Yellow
Sauce".  The items in question are the Egg, Country Ham and Hollandaise Sauce
resectively and you should already have them, so talk to her 3 times and give
her the items (one at a time).  During the cutscene, she'll hand over the
Doll.

S. Unwanted Customer
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): A customer at the Galaxy of Terror has
practically been stalking Carol, causing trouble for her.  Drive off this
"Unwanted Customer" who comes to the bar after 21:00.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 9
Chapter Available: 7-9, 11 and 12
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Trading Card #6 (Carol MacLaine)
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Trading Card

At anytime between 19:00 and 06:00 (7:00pm - 6:00am) and when it's raining (at
least I think it has to be raining), make your way to the Galaxy of Terror and
talk to Thomas MacLaine.  He'll tell you that someone has been stalking Carol
and York desides to do something about it.  The customer in question is known
as Jack the Raging Bull.  At any time after 22:00 (10:00pm)*, confront Jack.
After doing so, Jack will (eventually) agree to back off.  Talk to Thomas
again and he'll hand over the Trading Card as a thank you.

*Even though the quest discription says he shows up after 21:00 (or 9:00pm),
he seems to so up more offen then not at around 22:00 (or 10:00pm), or at
least that's what I've read.  I believe I was lucky enough for him to show up
at 21:00 though.

T. Where's the Dress!
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Anna's mother Sallie is searching for [Anna's
Dress]. Find the dress somewhere in Anna's house and give it to Sallie.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 27
Chapter Available: 2-4 and 6-9*
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Anna's Key
Unlocks: Anna's Diary
Original Xbox 360 Version: Semi-Optional (This side-quest is the 1st of a
4-part series I would dub "The Red Dust Scandal", that ulitimatly ends with a
weapon reward that I think is only good for breaking objects without worrying
about the weapon's endurance)

*Although you can complete this quest in chapters 11-16 and 18, 1 of the
game's side-quests will be locked out once you get past chapter 9.

At anytime after 12:00 when it's not raining, make your way to the Anna's
House and speak to her mother, Sallie Graham.  When you try to talk her, she
won't be in much mood to talk to you (can't say I blame her, her daughter just
died after all) and will mention something about her dress and wonder where it
is.  York desides to have a look around the house, so have him go upstairs and
somewhere to the left will be the office.  Once inside find a photo of Anna
and the dress Sallie mention is a blue colored dress.  Anyway, head downstairs
and find the closet room.  Once their, find Anna's Dress and bring it to
Sallie.  She'll be happy you found it, play around with it like her daughter's
their and a key will fall off it.  York picks it up, ending the side-quest and
starting the next one below.

U. Anna's Diary
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Use [Anna's Key] obtained from her dress to
search her room.  There must be something out of place in there.  Anna's room
is on the second floor.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 28
Chapter Available: 2-4 and 6-9*
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Anna's Diary
Unlocks: N/A**
Original Xbox 360 Version: Semi-Optional (This side-quest is the 2nd of a
4-part series I would dub "The Red Dust Scandal", that ulitimatly ends with a
weapon reward that I think is only good for breaking objects without worrying
about the weapon's endurance)

*Although you can complete this quest in chapters 11-16 and 18, 1 of the
game's side-quests will be locked out once you get past chapter 9.

**At face value, it would seem this quest doesn't open up any other side
quests.  If you were to open up the Diary however...

Right away after completing "Where's the Dress!" head upstairs and enter her
bedroom.  Once inside, find the dresser and use the key you got from the last
quest to open it.  Inside, you'll find Anna's Diary and the quest will end
their.

V. Delivery Man Q
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Follow up on Becky's friends and find
"Delivery Man Q" from Anna's diary.  Sneak into the house of someone whose
name starts with a Q, find evidence and take it to Becky.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 1
Chapter Available: 2-4 and 6-9
Requirements: The "Where's the Dress!" and "Anna's Diary" side-quests must be
completed
Reward: Engagement Ring
Unlocks: Engagement Ring
Original Xbox 360 Version: Semi-Optional (This side-quest is the 3rd of a
4-part series I would dub "The Red Dust Scandal", that ulitimatly ends with a
weapon reward that I think is only good for breaking objects without worrying
about the weapon's endurance)

At anytime after getting your hands on Anna's Diary, open it up and it'll
mention something about Becky Ames and "Delivery Man Q".  Make your way to
Becky's House and knock on her door (twice, the 1st time she'll just slam the
door in your face) and show her the Diary, offically starting this side-quest.
Once it starts, wait until it's around 14:00 (2:00pm) and it's raining to
enter Quint Dunn's home.  Once inside, wait until he moves away from his bike
(looking at the bookcase has the same effect) and examine the bike.  York will
find the Red Dust in their.  After that, make your way back to Becky's House
and show her the Red Dust.  Once you do, Becky will hand over her Engagement
Ring and tell you to tell Quint that she's not marrying him (apparently she
and Quint were planing on getting married, but not any more).  This will end
the side-quest.

W. Engagement Ring
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Delivery Man Q is probably Quint.  He may well
have some important evidence concerning the case.  Give Becky's [Engagement
Ring] to him and he may tell you the truth.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 29
Chapter Available: 2-4, 6-9, 11-16 and 18
Requirements: The "Where's the Dress!" and "Anna's Diary" must be completed
Reward: Wrench (infinite endurance)
Unlocks: Engagement Ring
Original Xbox 360 Version: Semi-Optional (This side-quest is the last of a
4-part series I would dub "The Red Dust Scandal", that ulitimatly ends with a
weapon reward that I think is only good for breaking objects without worrying
about the weapon's endurance)

At anytime after getting your hands on Engagement Ring, the time is after
14:00 and it's raining, make your way back to Quint's house.  Talk to him,
give the ring to him and break the bad news to him.  He comes clean about what
he's doing and hands over the Wrench, ending this series of side-quests.

My thoughts on this weapon: The Wrench has infinite endurance, which isn't
bad, but (in my opinion) not worth the trouble beyond getting the Trophies for
the 4 sidequests.  If you want something that will break objects without
worring about the weapon's endurance running low, you got it.  You want
something that will destory your foes in combat, might want to bark up the
"Legendary Guitar Grecotch"  or maybe the "Sword" for that.  Or better yet,
use a gun.

X. Guardian of the Art Gallery
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Diane is hiding something.  Find the painting of
[The Girl in the Woods] slumbering somewhere in the art gallery and give it to
her.  She may open up to you.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 2
Chapter Available: 9, 11 and 12
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Trading Card #5 (Diane Ames)
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Trading Card

At anytime between 10:00 and 17:00 (10:00am and 5:00pm), make your way to
Muses Gallery.  Once inside, make your way to the upper courtyard, climb up
and shoot the padlock on the door.  Once you've done that, find the door
you've just shot, enter it and pick up the painting called [The Girl in the
Woods].  Then just talk to Diane Ames and give her the painting (may need to
talk to her twice if you haven't talk to her already).

You get your 1st chance to find the painting in chapter 8, but I've taken into
account the side-quest is actually available for the 1st time in chapter 9.

Y. Someone in the Forest
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Someone is walking in Anna's forest in the early
afternoon, when the weather is clear.  Give this person the [Out of Focus
Picture].  Let the twins know once you have found out who the "ghost" is.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 12
Chapter Available: 7-9, 12-16 and 18
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Trading Card #36 (Willie)
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Trading Card

To start this side-quest, you must find the twins Isaach and Isaiah.  They
move around Greenvale a lot, starting from Chapter 7, so check your map to
find out where they are.  Once you've tracked them down, talk to Isaach and
he'll hand you a photograph and ask you to figure out who the "ghost" in the
picture is.  Refer to "Memories of Anna" for a guide is to what to do from
there.  Once you've found out who the "ghost" is, find and report back to
Isaach.  He'll give you a Trading Card for the trouble.

Z. Memories of Anna
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Someone is taking walks in Anna's forest in the
early afternoon when the weather is clear.  Find this person and hand over the
[Out of Focus Picture] from the twins.  It could be a new lead!
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze

Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 3
Chapter Available: 7-9, 12-16 and 18
Requirements: N/A (though, you must obtain the Out of Focus Picture from
Isaach)
Reward: Trading Card #9 (Thomas MacLaine)
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Trading Card

After you've obtain the [Out of Focus Picture] from Isaach, make your way to
the Tree of Anna.  Once there, sleep until the afternoon weather in Sunny*,
making sure the time is around the 16:00 (4:00pm) hour.  You'll find Carol
MacLaine looking at the tree.  Talk to her twice and on the 2nd time show her
the photo.  She'll tell you who the person in the picture is and after a
little bit will hand over the Trading Card.

*I've read that Overcast Days are considered Sunny Days as well.

AA. Periodic Riddle
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Ushah has been given a "riddle" from Fiona that
uses elemental symbols, but has no idea what the answer is.  This doesn't seem
related to the case... but why not help him find the answer?
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 10
Chapter Available: 6-9, 11-16, 18 and 26*
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Trading Card #59 (Ushah's Potato Chips)
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Trading Card

*This side-quest is also available in chapter 4, but I've found he doesn't
have the side-quest for you during that chapter.  You might have better luck
though.

At any time between 09:00 and 21:00 (9:00am and 9:00pm), make your way to the
Hospital and find Ushah Johnson.  Once you find him, talk to him and he'll
tell you that recived a riddle from Fiona "Freckles" and can't seem to figure
it out.  Talk to him again and when given the choice, pick the 2nd one.  Ushah
will thank you for answering the riddle for him and hand over the Trading
Card.

AB. Snack for Willie
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Willie has nabbed a [Bone] uncovered in the
course the investigation.  It could be important evidence.  Get the [Bone]
back from Willie's kennel in the back of Kaysen's car.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 11
Chapter Available: 8-9, 12-16, 18
Requirements: You must have at least 1 [Bone] on you (though, having all 7 is
highly recommended)
Reward: The Infinite .357 Magnum (If you have all 7 [Bone]) or The Sword (If
you have at least 1 [Bone], but less then 7)
Unlocks: N/A</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
Original Xbox 360 Version: Magnum: Recommended, Sword: To Be Determined
(Their's a reason for the To Be Determined with the Sword, read my thoughts on
that weapon for details.  Also, the Magnum (in my opinion) in general is the
best gun and the best weapon in the game.  The fact that it has infinite ammo
makes it the icing on an already delicious cake (if you get my drift).)

Before you pursue this side-quest their's something you should know:  If you
don't have at least one bone on you (or perferably all 7) before chapter 8, I
would suggest you go out looking for the bones.  You'll understand why as you
read this.  That said, at any time after Forest Kayson and his dog (Whille)
shows up, you will need to find the two.  If it's raining, he'll hang out in
the Hotel you're staying at.  Otherwise, you'll have to bring up the map and
find them that way.

Once you've tracked them down, approach Whille and he'll smell the bones on
you and take them away from you.  Forest, who ends up catch wind about what
happen, will tell you that Whille loves bones and by carrying them on you,
you were just asking for trouble.  He'll then tell you to just forget about
them and go about you're business (and if we did that, York wouldn't be as
good of an FBI agent as he would be, nor will we get our hands on this Trophy
and the Magnum/Sword for completing this side-quest (or just the latter for
those playing the Xbox 360 version).

The bones will be hiding at Whille's Dog House (or the "Kennel" as the
description for the Director's Cut call it) and it'll be on the truck that
Forest is driving, so find the truck and take the bones back.  You'll also
find the Magnum (if you've found all 7 bones) or the Sword (if you've found at
least 1 bone, but less then 7) in their as well, ending the side-quest.

My thoughts on this weapon (Magnum): As I've stated before, guns in this game
are the better choice when it comes to combat in general.  The Magnum (as I've
also stated before) is the best gun in the game (or at least in my opinion).
Give the Magnum unlimited ammo and it's this game's version of the Holy Grail
(again, in my opinion).  The only drawback to this weapon is that it fires 4
shots, which is not bad per say, but compaired to the normal version (which
fires 6), it just doesn't have enough ammo per reload.  However, I believe
that the Normal and Infinite versions of the Magnum do the same amount of
damage per shot, so the drawback is only a minor one at best.

My thoughts on this weapon (Sword): I'm acutally not sure what to make of this
weapon as of yet.  I mean, on one hand, it's a Melee Weapon and I find them to
be either too slow or too short.  On the other hand and as I was making this
guide, I got the idea that it might be the only Melee Weapon worth using.
Without actually using this weapon though, I can't decide one way or another.
For all I know, it could have unlimited endurance (which if it doesn't, it
would make it a piece of garbage) and it might actually be fast enough for one
such as myself to make use of it in combat.  Until I know for sure, I can't
say if it's the only Melee Weapon worth getting (and therefore, using), or if
it's a piece of garbage like all of the other Melee Weapons (except for maybe
the Wrench (even though it's too short for it to be useful in combat), but I
digress).

AC. Legendary Tabatha
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): You'll never catch [Tabatha] with your current
fishing rod.  Borrow the legendary fishing rod from Jim and try again.
[Tabatha] appears near the waterfall only on rainy days.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 13
Chapter Available: 8-9, 12-16, 18
Requirements: You need to have brought the Fishing Rod before you can do this
side-quest.  The Rod can be brought at the Hotel and at the Milk Barn.
Reward: Rod of Legends
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Optional

Before you pursue this side-quest, make sure that you have plenty of bait on
you just to make sure you have a better chance at doing this side quest (I
would say like 6, but if you may wish to have like 10 or maybe 12 if you
really want to be safe).  It goes without saying, but you really need a
fishing rod before you can even think about pursuing this side-quest.

That said, at anytime when it's raining, make your way to the Forest Keeper's
Cabin and go to the fishing spot that's located on the map.  When you're at
the fishing screen, select the rod and bait you're using and start fishing.
Eventually, the fishing wheel will pop up.  The icon you're looking for is the
fish icon with a blue background.  When you land on it, you won't succeed in
catching the fish, but it's part of the side-quest, so don't worry about it.
Then find and talk to Jim Green and he'll let you borrow the Rod of Legends,
the only rod that has ever let one successfully catch the Fish known as
Tabatha.

Rod at hand, make so it's raining again (if you've found Jim when it's not)
and make your way back to the fishing spot.  Then do the same as the last time
you tried to catch the fish, except this time pick the Rod of Legends as your
rod of choice.  When the fishing wheel (eventually) pops up again, look for
the same fish icon with the blue background and try to land on that spot
again.  When you do, you'll succeed in catching Tabatha this time.  Jim Green
will automaticly show up and ultimately tell you to keep the Rod as your
reward for catching the fish, ending the side-quest.

AD. Map to Psychic Spot A
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): "Cope's Tunnel" is marked on a suspicious map
purchased from Keith at the Milk Barn.  Go to the marked location and clear
the "Other World" challenge there.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 14
Chapter Available: 6-9, 11-16, 18 and 26
Requirements: Have at least $2,000 in you're bank.*
Reward: The Infinite Submachine Gun
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Recommended (not as good as the Magnum in my
opinion, but it may prove useful in the 3rd phase of final boss if you find
shooting the doll in his chest pocket to be a pain in the @$$)

*Maybe less if you have the discount cards or it may end up being more without
the discount cards.

At anytime between 07:30 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 18:00 (7:30am - 12:00pm and
1:00pm - 5:00pm) and when it's not raining, make your way to the Milk Barn and
talk to Keith Ingram.  Ask to see what he has for sale and purchase the
[Spiritual Map A].  Upon doing so, Keith will give you a bit of a back story
involving the area the Map is refering to.  The area in question is known as
"Cope's Tunnel".  Make your way to where the portal is located and enter it.
You'll have to deal with a series of rooms with foes, but once you've reach
the end of it, the Submachine Gun with unlimited ammo will be waiting for you.
Once you pick it up, use the exit portal to complete the side-quest.

My thoughts on this weapon: As I've stated before, I don't think it's as good
of a weapon compaired to the Magnum, but it is the better version of the
Normal Submachine Gun (caries a higher Ammo capacity compaired to the Normal
version) and it may prove useful in certain situations (i.e. the 3rd phase of
the final boss if you find shooting the doll in his chest pocket to be a bit
of a pain).

AE. Map to Psychic Spot B

Side-Quest Number: 15
Chapter Available: 14-16, 18 and 26
Requirements: Like the last side-quest of a similar name, you have at least
$2,000 in you're bank.*
Reward: The Infinite Shotgun Gun
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Semi-Optional (You should already have the Magnum
by the time chapter 14 rolls around, but it may prove to be a useful subsitute
if you don't (granted not as powerful))

*Maybe less if you have the discount cards or it may end up being more without
the discount cards.

Like the "Map to Psychic Spot A" sidequest that came before this one, make
your way to the Milk Barn at anytime between 07:30 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 18:00
and when it's not raining and talk to Keith.  Ask to see what he has for sale
and purchase the [Spiritual Map B].  Upon doing so, Keith will give you a bit
of a back story invoving the area the Map is refering to.  The area in
question this time is known as "The scene of a railway accident".  Make your
way to where the portal is located and enter it.  Like last time, you'll have
to deal with a series of rooms with foes, but once you've reach the end of it,
the Shotgun with unlimited ammo will be waiting for you.  Once you pick it up,
use the exit portal to complete the side-quest.

My thoughts on this weapon: Compaired to the Magnum (which you should already
have at this point), it's a piece of garbage.  It only really effective up
close and that's the last place you want your foes to be.  It has wide spread
which makes it easy to hit your foes, but it don't mean **** if they grab and
damage you.  If for some unknown reason you don't have the Magnum by the time
chapter 14 rolls around, I guess you could use this weapon instead.  Or better
yet and if for some reason you haven't finish "Snack for Whille" already, find
the 7 bones and do that quest instead.  If you've already finish the said
quest and got the Sword instead, then I guess you can either use this or the
Pistol instead (or even the Submachine Gun if you want to go that far).

Side-Quest Number: 16

Requirements: Like the last 2 side-quests of a similar name, you have at least
$2,000 in you're bank.*
Reward: An RPG with Infinite Ammo
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Optional (This weapon comes way too late in the
game to be useful)

*Maybe less if you have the discount cards or it may end up being more without
the discount cards.

Like the "Map to Psychic Spot A and B" sidequests that came before this one,
make your way to the Milk Barn at anytime between 07:30 - 12:00 and 13:00 -
18:00 and when it's not raining and talk to Keith.  Ask to see what he has for
sale and purchase the [Spiritual Map C].  Upon doing so, Keith will give you a
bit of a back story invoving the area the Map is refering to.  The area in
question this time is known as "The GV Electrical Substation".  Make your way
to where the portal is located and enter it.  Like the last 2 times you've
done this, you'll have to deal with a series of rooms with foes.  Unlike the
last 2 times, you'll have to face the 3 bosses from the game and you don't
have the Passion Red Suit to help you health-wise.  However, you should still
have the Magnum for damage dealing and maybe the Weather Doll if you decide
you might be able to make use out of it, but it doesn't change the fact that
compaired to A and B, it's the hardest one in the game and (from what I've
read) the hardest side-quest in the game in general.  What's worse, is that
the final one has 3 phases.  You do get a bit of a break in between the 3
bosses and the game even goes as far as to give you a break in between phases
for the final boss, but I digress.

Same strategy appies to the 3 bosses, but you should find Thomas to be easier
as you should have the Magnum, but he'll still move all over the place, so
keep your guard up and aim carefully.  The other 2 else should be no more
harder then when you face them the 1st time, granted the final one does give
you a break in between phases.  Once you've (finally) reach the end of boss
gauntlet, the Infinite RPG will be waiting for you.  Once you pick it up, use
the exit portal to complete the side-quest.

My thoughts on this weapon: Well...  As stated before, it does come way too
late to be useful.  If New Game+ exisited on the Xbox 360 version of the game
and it didn't disable the difficulty achievements, then I would've ended up
recommending it for the harder difficulty achievements (granted the Magnum is
the better option, but the RPG can still prove useful for taking out the Wall
Crawlers and bosses).  The only good things I can see with this thing is
that...

1. It's the only Rocket Lancher type weapon in the game
2. It allows 3 shots per reload (which is 2 more than a standard Rocket
Lancher would allow)

If you decide to have some fun with it, be careful of where you shoot it at,
as you can take damage from this thing.  The only other use I can think of
with this thing is if you plan on replaying various chapters with it, but that
requires loading certain chapters from the "Load Game" option on the main
menu.  If you're playing the Xbox 360 version, don't bother even doing this
side-quest unless you want a 100% completetion.

Unlocks: Part Time Job 2
Original Xbox 360 Version: Semi-Optional (would recommend that you do them
anyway for the discounts on food items, especially if you still need to do the

At anytime between 07:30 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 18:00 and when it's not raining,
make your way to the Milk Barn and talk to Lilly Ingram.  Select the Talk
option and she'll want you to help her out in the storeroom.  Agree to this
and she'll take you to the Storeroom.  This one shouldn't be too hard to

hand over the discount card.

You will not be able to do this after doing Part 1 of this quest series, so
you will either have to replay the chapter you did this on or play the next
chapter the quest is on.  That said, at anytime between 07:30 - 12:00 and
13:00 - 18:00 and when it's not raining, make your way to the Milk Barn and
talk to Lilly.  Select the Talk option and she'll want you to help her out in
the storeroom again.  Wait a minute, it can't be messed up again can it?
Well anyway, agree to help her out again and she'll take you back to the
Storeroom.  This one's a bit harder then the 1st time, but it shouldn't be too
much harder to figure out then last time.  Move the boxes in the correct spots
and Lilly will upgrade your discount card from Bronze to Silver.

Like Part 1 of this quest series, you will not be able to do this side-quest
after completing part 2, so you will either have to replay the chapter you did

between 07:30 - 12:00 and 13:00 - 18:00 and when it's not raining, make your

want you to help her out in the storeroom for the 3rd time.  Geez, is she
looking for free work here?  She promises this will be the last time and
she'll give you something that will "help out with your investigation", so
agree to help her out one last time and she'll take you back to the
Storeroom for the last time.  This one's a lot harder then it was the 1st two
times, so you'll need to think a bit harder.  You will need to make pathways
before you move the boxes into certain places, so make sure you keep that in
mind.  That said, move the boxes in the correct spots for the 3rd and final
time and Lilly will give you a Key for the closet in their garage and starts
up the next quest and ending this one.  *sarcasm* Oh yeah, this will REALLY
help us out with the investigation. */sarcasm*  Whatever's in your closet

Anytime after Lilly gives you the Key to their closet garage and when the Milk
Barn closes up for the night (or if it's a raining afternoon, I don't think it
matters either way), make your way to the home where Lilly and Keith Ingram.
The garage should be open, so just walk up to the closet and use the key you
got from Lilly.  You will find the Guitar inside it.  York will pick it up,
ending this side-quest.

My thoughts on this weapon: I've said that a lot of the game's melee weapons
are either too short or to slow.  This weapon falls under the catagory of a
melee weapon that's too slow.  Melee weapons pretty much require you to get up
close and personal and that's the last thing you want to do (especially if the
melee weapons are either too short or too slow).  It has infinite endurance,
which isn't bad, but you're better off just doing the next side-quest listed
below and get your reward from that (which by the way, pretty much happens
after you've picked up the guitar).

At anytime after when it's during the day, make your way to Harry's Mansion.
Once their, knock on the door, be let in and talk to Harry Stewart.  He'll
then challenge you to answer 3 questions about what happend during the course
of the game (and about Greenvale in general) in a row correctly.  Accept his

to the next one.  Get one wrong however and you'll have to talk to him again
if you want to try again (but he makes you start from question 1).  I believe
the questions are randomly generated, so don't expect to get the same question
you got the 1st time through.  Get 3 right in a row and he'll hand over the
Trading Card.  Here's a list of all of the known questions and the answers to
them if you're having trouble.  These were taken from MsFuruba's side-quests

Q: What did Thomas call Emily's cooking?
A: Amazon frontier cooking.

Q: Sheriff's assistant Thomas also worked at which of the following locations?
A: Carol's 'Galaxy of Terror'.

Q: Where was Becky killed?
A: The Bathroom.

Q: What did the twins attack York with?
A: Scissors.

Q: The keeper of the woods is Jim Green.  Who is he the father of?
A: Lilly Ingram.

A: Tinkering with his bike.

Q: Who had lunch at the hotel with Polly when it was raining?
A: Forrest Kaysen.

Q: Sigourney always carries around a certain item.  What is it?
A: A pot.

Their was one other question I've had that wasn't on the list, so I was forced
to guess (which I happen to get correctly).  I don't remember what the
question was, but I believe the answer was "Anna was an airhead".

At anytime after when it's during the night (specifically, between 21:00 and
23:00 or 9:00pm and 11:00pm), make your way to Harry's Mansion.  Once their,
knock on the door, be let in and talk to Michael Tillotson.  He'll then tell
you that the bird carving his care-taker Harry gave him has gone missing and
is not only unsure where it is, but also what would happen if Harry finds out
(apparently Harry doesn't know the bird carving's even missing).  Michael
tried looking for it at night so Harry wouldn't find out, but has no luck and
needs your help finding it.  Agree to help him and leave the mansion.

The item your looking for is at the A&G Diner, but it's only open during the
day (specifically, between 09:00 and 21:00 or 9:00am and 9:00pm) and when it's
not raining. Get some sleep somewhere until the correct time and weather
conditions are correct and make your way to the diner.  Once inside, locate
the object and pick it up and leave the diner.  When the time is some where
between 21:00 and 23:00, make your way back to the mansion and knock on the
door to be let back in.  Once inside, find and talk to Michael and hand over
the Bird Carving.  Michael will thank you, but then Harry will come into the
picture, revealing that he knew what happend the entire time, but not only
forgives him, but gives him the eyes for the carving (that were apparently
missing from this carving).  You'll ultimately be given the Trading Card for
your time and effort.

Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Recommended

At anytime between 18:00 and 06:00 (6:00pm and 6:00am), make your way to the
SWERY 65.  Once their, head inside and talk to Richard and ask to see what he
has on the menu.  Once the menu pops up, but the Dart Gun and back out.*  Then
interact with the Dart Board (their's more than one, but it doesn't matter
which one you pick) to start the Darts mini-game.**

*If you don't have enough room for the Dart Gun, you'll have to either throw
away a weapon or put it into a toolbox.

**I've read that using a [Stabilizer] before you play will make things easier.
If this is true, then I was able to do it without using it.

The score you have to beat in order to win this side-quest and the Weapon Bag
is 2,017.  The best bit of advice I can give you is to aim at the spot
slightly below the triple 20 (the spot above the Bullseye), so it lands on the
triple 20 pretty much every time.  Their are 8 rounds to this Darts game and
at the end of each round (you get 3 shots per round) a bonus area will light
up. When you hit the bonus area, you'll get x5 the amount of point you
would've gotten if you were to aim for that number normally (i.e. 20 points
times 5 is 100 points).  Double and Triple zones are still counted, so in the
same example I've provided, 20 times 3 would equal 60.  Times that number by 5
and you get 300 points at the end of the round.  The only exception to the x5
rule is round 8, where the point multiplier goes up to x10.  The Double and
Triple zones are still counted even with the x10 multiplier.  Here's a list of
the numbers the light up at the end of each of the 8 rounds (as taken from
RARusk walkthrough):

Round 1 - 17
Round 2 - 19
Round 3 - 14
Round 4 - 15
Round 5 - 8
Round 6 - 18
Round 7 - 20
Round 8 - 50 (X10 instead of X5)

If you were to hit the triple 20 the 1st two times and hit the triple zone
where the bonus lit up at in each of the 8 rounds (with the exception of the
Bullseye which (I think) doesn't have a triple zone (and therefore, no double
zone)), the highest score one would have in theory would be 3,125 (if I did my
math right).  All that said, once you've beaten the top score, you'll be given
the Weapon Bag as a prize.  I would also recommend doing the darts game two
addtional times for the Trading Cards (assuming that you've beaten the top
score the 1st time of course).

AR. The Beauty
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Polly has a precious piece of "memorabilia"
somewhere in the hotel.  Find it and give it to her.  Not to be rude, but
memory deteriorates with age.  You might want to check her room...
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 31
Chapter Available: 8-9, 11-12, 14-16, 18 and 26
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Trading Card #60 (Polly's Pepper)
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Trading Card

At anytime during the game (starting from chapter 8), make your way to the
Great Deer Yard Hotel (if you're not already there) and talk to Polly Oxford.
She'll talk to you about a "precious piece of memorabilia", but can't seem to
remember where it's at.  If the description didn't give it away, the
"memorabilia" is in her room.  The room is in the top right most room of the
hotel, so make your way there.  Once you enter her room, look for the picture
of her younger self (though York won't know this at 1st).  Return the picture
to Polly, York will find out who the person in the picture is and Polly will
hand over the Trading Card.

AS. Medical Studies
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Fiona, in the hospital, has given you a quiz on
medical matters.  Get three correct answers in a row to clear it.  Why not
give it a try?
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 32
Chapter Available: 4, 6-9, 11-16, 18 and 26
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Trading Card #10 (Ushah Johnson)
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Trading Card

Like the "Greenvale Trivia" trophy, this one is also a quiz, you have to
get 3 in a row right to win the Trading Card and complete the side-quest.
Unlike "Greenvale Trivia", this one involves the medical profesion rather than
what happend during the game and Greenvale in general.  Also the one who
challenges you into the quiz is a woman (Fiona "Freckles" to be specific).
That said, here's a list of all of the possible questions and the answers to
them if you're having trouble.  These were taken from MsFuruba's side-quests
guide on playstationtrophies.org:

Q: Who wrote the medical textbook 'Anatomische Tabellen'?
A: Kulmus.

Q: What is the correct way to treat an emergency burn?
A: Cool with water on top of clothing.

Q: What is the difference between encephalitis and encephalopathy?
A: Inflammation and pathogens in the brain.

Q: Which part of the cell is the cytoplasm?
A: The interior excluding the nucleus.

Q: How many milk teeth are there altogether?
A: 20.

Q: What is the medical definition of 'shock'?
A: Blood stops circulating to the organs.

Q: Which of the following are contrasting taxonomic kingdoms?
A: Eukaryote and Prokaryote.

Q: Which of the following has anything to do with a generic drug?
A: A patent has expired.

Q: What kind of medical treatment means "I will please" in Latin?
A: Placebo.

Q: A bump on the head. What is inside of it?
A: Blood and Lymph fluid.

Q: What are antibiotics?
A: Drugs that stop bacteria from growing.

Q: Which part of the heart does the blood enter first?
A: Right atrium.

Q: Where does the 'O' blood type takes its name from?

Q: What is the medical term for aspirin?
A: Acetyl Salicylic Acid.

Q: Where does DNA exist in the cell?
A: The nucleus.

Q: 20% of the atmosphere is oxygen. What percent do we use when breathing?

AL. Special Service
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Gina, at Heaven & Hell Gas, will perform a
special service if you use the carwash a certain number of times.  Why not
check it out?  I wouldn't get your hopes up, though...
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 33
Chapter Available: 2-4, 6-9, 11-16, 18 and 26
Requirements: N/A
Reward: Lollipop and the Special Service every time Gina washes your car
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Optional

The reward for this side-quest is (in my opinion) the only one that actually
does more harm than good.  The Lollipop is okay at best, but the "Special
Service" that "Rosy Lips" Gina will give you everytime she's there (it's
either her or Jack the Raging Bull) is something you are forced on everytime
you need to do something else like fill up the gas tank of the car you're
currently driving (i.e. A police car, York's Car, etc.).  I should know, I
remember playing the Xbox 360 version of this game, had to stop and get gas,
Gina's the one who came out of the Gas Station and when I tried to buy gas,
she tells me that I wanted the Special Service instead and gives me a car
wash.  Completing this side-quest is the one you should do in chapter 26 AFTER
completing every other side-quest in the game (though, I've had done this 24
chapters sooner on the PS3 version myself as I wanted to get all of the
Trophies I can get out of the way, but I digress).

All that said, this is the easiest side-quest you can do in the game (or at
least in my opinion).  All you need to do is to drive up to the glowing
circle in the Gas Station (which opens from 10:00 to 22:00 (or 10:00am to
10:00pm)) and hope Gina comes out of the Gas Station.  When she does, select
'Filler Up' and select the Car Wash option.  Do this 6 times and Gina will
give you the 'service' and a Lollipop.  I've read that you don't have to leave
the gas station in order to do it over and over again (you just need to select
the option 6 times in a row), but I did just that, because I've only when to
the gas station to pick up gas and get a car wash when I really needed to do
so.

AT. Benjamin Franklin
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Jack, at Heaven & Hell Gas, wants $100 bills.
Hey, don't we all?  However, if you give him more than $1000 he'll supposedly
give you some really big info.  For the investigation, then...!
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 34
Chapter Available: 2-4, 6-9, 11-16, 18 and 26
Requirements: You'll need to have $1,000 total, but due to the way this
side-quest works, it doesn't have to be all at once
Reward: York's Car will get towed to the Lysander Junkyard and can be picked
up as earily as chapter 9
Unlocks: York's Car
Original Xbox 360 Version: Recommended (This side-quest will lead to another
side-quest that will give you the useful item)

Like the "Special Service" sidequest, you need to head into the Gas Station
between 09:00 and 21:00.  Unlike the "Special Service" sidequest, you can't
chain the $100 at once as the person who hosts this side-quest (Jack the
Raging Bull) will only let you bribe him once per chapter.  What this means is
that you'll either have to replay the chapter you want to finish this quest in
at least 3 addtional times or play the next available chapter to bribe him
again.  What's worse is that their's a chance Gina will be their instead.
What's worse then that is that the bribe will double each time.  At the end of
day, it'll all worth it.

That said, bribe him on 4 different occations and he'll (indirectly) tell you
that you're car is at the Junkyard, ending the side-quest.

AU. York's Car
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): According to Jack your beloved car, wrecked on
the mountain road, has been taken to the General's scrap yard.  Request its
repair and then buy it back.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 43
Chapter Available: 9, 11-16, 18 and 26
Requirements: Benjamin Franklin must be completed and you must have $5,000 in
your bank
Reward: The ability to drive York's Car
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Recommended (It's the fastest and (in my opinion)
the best car in the game, so good for getting somewhere really quickly in
general and it'll be real handy for the *groans* Cold Pot side-quest series.)

At anytime after Jack told you about what happend to your car, the time is
between 06:00 and 24:00 (6:00am and 12:00am) and it's not raining, make your
way to the Lysander Junkyard and talk to "The General Lysander".  Ask him to
see what he has for sale and pick York's Car.  The General will tell you the
car will be sitting in front of the Junkyard by the next morning, so sleep
somewhere until then (you may have to make sure it's not raining, but I don't
think it'll matter much, if at all).  When you return to the Junkyard you'll
find the car sitting in front of the Junkyard, waiting for you to hop on in.

to do is to collect the 64 trading cards* hidden through out Greenvale.
Here's some info on this side-quest below.

Side-Quest Number: 39
Chapter Available: 7-9, 11-16, 18 and 26
Requirements: Like the discription for this suggests, you need to have at
least 64 cards in your collection.  Also, Beginner, Amateur, Normal and Great
Collector must be completed.
Reward: Light Sword - Infinite Endurance
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Optional (unless you have yet to unlock the
achievement for finding all of the cards, in which case you might as well get
it while you're at it.  The weapon comes way too late in the game for it to
be worth while)

*If you were to look at the Xbox 360 exculsive achievement for collecting all
of the Trading Cards, you would've noticed I've said 65.  I know I said this,
no need to point it out.  I've just said that because this side-quest only
checks the 64 cards around Greenvale and not the 65th card you get for
entering a hidden in-game code and going through a series of doors that
ultimately leads to *censored due to spoilers*, who gives you the last card.

You may wish to refer to the "Collected all trading cards!" for a link to the
Trading Cards guide as well refering to chapter 3 of this guide for a map to
the trading cards, but if you rather not scroll all that way up for a link
with the former, I'll post it again here.

http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=210165
Note: Guide Written by ThrawnOmega and assumes that you're playing the Xbox
360 version of the game.

That said and if the description for all 5 trophies related to the Card
Collector side-quest series didn't give it away, you need to appropriate
amount of cards in your collection and make your way to the Panda Bear Gunshop
between the times of 20:00 and 06:00 (or 8:00pm and 6:00am).  When you
eventually have all 64 of the cards scattered through out Greenvale (which
most likely won't be until chapter 26), you'll be given Light Sword that has
unlimited endurance.

My thoughts on this weapon: Like the RPG and as I've said before, it comes way
too late in the game for it to be useful.  This weapon is kind of like the
lightsaber you would see in the Star Wars movies.  That's pretty much its only
appeal other than that (especially if you happen to be a Star Wars fan and/or
if you're like me and think that most (if not all) Melee Weapons in general
are pieces of garbage in this game).  Not much to say that I feel like saying
other than that.

Lysander".  The General will tell you to find a part in his Junkyard for the
cop cars (in this case, the part that's gives you better handling).  The
Junkyard itself is a decent sided area, but on the chained fence, there are
big letters and numbers (A-N and 1-10 respectively) will give you an idea of
where you are at, so don't worry about getting lost too much.  That said, the
part you're looking for is at E-5.  Find the part and return it to the

Unlocks: Cold Pot 2
Original Xbox 360 Version: Trading Card

Oh my God, the Cold Pot side-quest series are annoying as hell!  Sorry for the
religion reference and for saying "hell", but between the fact that that
Sigourney constantly saying lines "Hurry!  Hurry!  Will you step on it!?!",
and "My Pot is getting cold!" and all that jazz, Sigourney and her side-quests
are THAT annoying.  If you think I'm kidding, let me tell you that it won't be
that bad at 1st, but as the series goes on, you'll want to shoot Sigourney
just to make her shut up (I know I want to).  What's worse is that you're
under an unseen time limit and if that runs out, she'll tell you to stop the
car, let her out and call you a useless human being (I'm not kidding, the 1st
time I thought I've simmply hit the X button the PS3 and then she said what
she said, but then I've read that you're under a time limit).  Those playing
the Original Xbox 360 version will only have to put up with her twice for the
trading cards, but for those looking to 100% the game and/or playing the
Director's Cut will have to put up with this annoying **** a total of 5 times.
Ok guys, let's get this over with, ASAP.

Before starting this series of side-quests, you might want to make sure you're
driving York's Car to make this annoying piece of garbage of a side-quest
series much faster.  For part 1 of this side-quest series, you can find
Sigourney either at the area between Hemingway Rd. and August St. or the rest
area that by Calvin Bridge when it's not raining (look at the in-game map to
know which area).  Once you find her annoying @$$, she'll tell you her Pop's
getting cold and needs to get home.  *1st impression* Ok, she's getting older
and can't seem to remember stuff. */1st Impression*  Drive her home as quickly
as possible and she'll give you a trading card for the trouble.

This side-quest can not be done after completing the 1st one, so you'll have
to either replay the chapter you did the last side-quest on or play the next

not).  That said, for part 2 of this side-quest series, you can find Sigourney
either by the Junkyard or at the Great Deer Yard Hotel when it's not raining.
Once you've found her again, she'll tell you that her pot's getting cold again
(and you decided to take the pot with you again, why?).  Drive her back home
as fast as possible and she'll give you another trading card for your trouble.
Now Sigourney, if you're going to go out again, leave your pot at home (Now if
only it was that simple for her annoying @$$).

Note: If you're playing the Xbox 360 version of this game, this is the last
side-quest in this series you'll have to do if you want the achievement for
finding all of the game's Trading Cards.  Those playing the Director's Cut

Ok, if you're pot getting cold is a problem for you, then why did you bring
it with you for the 3rd time?  Especially since I've told you to leave it at

Chapter Available: 7-9, 11-16, 18 and 26
Requirements: Cold Pots 1-4 must be completed
Reward: Greenvale Suit (pulse reduces rapidly when not running)
Unlocks: N/A (thank ****ing god)
Original Xbox 360 Version: Optional

This side-quest can not be done after completing the 4th one, so you'll have
to either replay the chapter you did the last side-quest on or play the next
available chapter (not sure rather to take this as a blessing in disguise or
not).  That said, for the 5th and final part of this side-quest series, you
can find Sigourney either at Harry's Mansion or by the Wood Path (where the
1st other world portal is located at) when it's not raining.  Once you've
found her for the last time, she'll tell you that her pot's getting cold
again.  Really Sigouney.  Would've seriously killed you to leave the pot at
home?!  Or at the very least on a portable heater?!  Anyway, drive her back
home as fast as possible for the last fliping time and she'll give you the The
Greenvale Suit.  Ok Sigouney, I'll give you this:  At least you give us
something that's slightly more useful then the cars you gave us, but it's
still something one won't make use out of.  Since this is the last side-quest
in this series, this will be the last time we'll have to deal with her.

BI. Seven Bones
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Wild dogs have been through the grave-yard and
now 7 [Bones] are missing.  Brian has pretty much demanded that you get them
back.  Use his marks on the map, find the [Bones] and return them.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 49
Chapter Available: 8-9, 11-14, 16, 18 and 26
Requirements: You must have all 7 bones collected
Reward: Key to Brian's House
Unlocks: Ghost House Treasure
Original Xbox 360 Version: Semi-Optional

At anytime during the game (starting from chapter 8), make your way to the
Graveyard.  Once there, examine an open grave and Brian will ask (read: tell)
you to find all 7 bones that are missing from the grave.  You should have all
7 bones on you (especially if you did what I've suggested and collected all 7
for the "Snack for Whille" side-quest) so talk to him a total of 7 times and
give him the bones (one at a time of course).  Once you've done so, Brian will
thank you by giving you the key to his house, ending this side-quest and
starting the next one below.

BJ. Ghost House Treasure
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Use the [Key] received from Brian to check out
his house.  It is an old place in a corner of downtown There might be
something important hidden there... or maybe not.
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This trophy wants you to complete the side-quest of the same name.
Here's some info below:

Side-Quest Number: 50
Chapter Available: 8-9, 11-14, 16, 18 and 26
Requirements: Seven Bones must be completed
Reward: Wesley Special (The Infinite Flamthrower)
Unlocks: N/A
Original Xbox 360 Version: Semi-Optional

Note: The description for this has two words combined, but I think that's just
a goof on the translater's part (copy and pasted the descriptions from the
PS3 version of the game).

At anytime after reciving the key, make your way to Brain's House.  Once
there, use the key to open the gate.  Then head into the back of the house and
get through the Maze of Statues and ladders.  Once you make it through, push
the statue that has the blue sparkle and pick up the Weapon as your reward.

My thoughts on this weapon: It's a piece of garbage that tries to call itself
a weapon, but unlike the RPG and Light Sword, it does come soon enough where
it would be somewhat useful at least (and I say "somewhat" very highly).
It's good if you like your foes extra crispy, but you need to be somewhat
close to them in order to be effective, so it's not that useful.  The only
real use I can think of with this weapon, is for the Timed puzzle involving
the Apple Statues, for shooting them off faster, but that's it.  Use it for
the said puzzle (if you wish) and put this thing in the toolbox and use the
Magnum instead (or you're pistol if you don't have it for some reason).

BK. Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut Platinum Trophy
Description (Original): N/A
Description (Director's Cut): Zach, it's over, all finished.  It's time for
you to leave town.  Are you ready to go?
Gamerscore: N/A
Trophy Color: Platinum
Guide: You'll end up unlocking this when you have all the other Trophies for
this game.

Chapter 5: How to Contact me
==============================================================================

You have 3 Main ways of contacting me:

1. Send me a E-mail
2. Send me a message on my Gamertag on X-Box Live
3. Send me a message on my PSN Profile

My E-mail address shadowjohn91(at)yahoo(dot)com.
My Gamertag is Gamer364.  This can be done only through a text message on the
Xbox 360.
My PSN name is TurboStitch.  Like my Gamertag, this can only be done via text
message on the PS3.

E-mail or Message me if you:

A. See a spelling error: I may have made spelling errors as I was writing
this.

B. Have a question that needs asking: You may have something that needs
clearing up or something to that affect.

C. Have a correction to make: I'm not 100% sure on some of the stuff mentioned
though out the guide.

D. Want to use my guide on your website: I personally have no problem
letting you use my guide on your website, as long as you ask me first, and you
give me credit for it.

E. Think you see someone using my guide without permission: I don't like it
when people steal my stuff (at least, not without asking me first).  I don't
do it to other people (at least without giving other people credit for the
idea), so why do it to me anyway?

F. Have something to add-on to this or that/there's something I forgot to
include: If there something you think I should have included, but I didn't,
you are encouraged to send me an Email for this or that.

Do note that if you do decide you want to message me, make sure if the topic
is about Deadly Premonition (or Red Seeds Profile if you live in Japan).

As of right now the only sites that have permission to use my guide:
A. GameFAQs (I have an ancount with them, so they don't really need my
permission.)
B. Neoseeker (The owner got permission in advanced)
C. SuperCheats (The owner got permission in advanced)
More to come (maybe).

Don't even think about email me if you are going to send me:
A. Hate Mail
B. Spam
C. Name Calling mail
D. Barelly readable/Unreadable mail
E. Mail with mostly creative words (if you get my drift)

Letter A I take offence to, because I don't send hate mail to no one.

I have a Spam safeguard with yahoo, and it'll tell me if I have spam or not
with Letter B.  Also, if I think your trying sending me spam on Xbox Live,
don't think I won't wirte a complant about you, and/or tell Microsoft on you.

With letter C, I also take offence, because I get name called in school.

Letter D, If your sending me an E-mail, have spell check avaiable to you and
your not sure of your spelling, then why not use it?

Letter E, Unless I messed up that badly, there's really no reason for that
anyway.

All of these things can and will make me think your a bad person, when in
reality your probably not.  All in all, just don't do it.

Follow these rules, and if you add-on and/or correct something, I'll give you
credit for it.

Note: Don't get discouraged if I don't answer you right away.  Sometimes, I
might be on the Computer and sometimes I'll be on Xbox Live.  Your best bet
is to send both an E-mail and an Xbox Live message.  That way if I don't get
one of your messages, I'll still be able to get the other message.  Even
then, I might still not get your message right away.
