II. Overview of FAQ
This guide will help you learn the various armaments that the Commandos
can utilize in their operations in Asia, Europe and in the Pacific. By
reading this guide, it'll help you determine what type of weapon should
you use in case that there are situations that will require you to shoot
your enemies in certain levels.
III. Overview of Weapons
The armaments that you will find in the game are mostly from the days of
World War II, meaning that you can't find modern weapons like a Galil or
a G3 rifle. You can usually find these weapons and their ammunition from
tied-up soldiers, cupboards, rifle racks, lockers and in other places
where armaments can be kept in or hidden in. Use these to your
advantage, as some or all of these can help you either complete certain
missions or all missions.
IV. Lethal Weapons
Knife:
Hot Key (Default): A
# of weapon type: 1
Range: Medium
Description: A hand-held combat weapon. There are unlimited knives
that you can find in various levels. But, there are two
people who can use them. You can either stab at enemies
or simply toss the knives at your enemies. Tiny and Fins
are the ones who are excellent knife users. Don't use
this bloody weapon too often. Otherwise, you can invite
some unwanted attention and trouble.
Used by: Tiny and Fins
Type:
Fairbairn-Sykes Combat Knife
Origin: Britain
Limited: No
Capacity: Unlimited
In service: 1940-present
Harpoon Gun:
Hot Key (Default): L
# of weapon type: 1
Range: Short
Description: A silent but deadly underwater weapon. This is meant to
impale out small fish and other maritime animals. But in
case of this conflict, a skilled naval diver can use this
weapon to stab, spear and slay out both enemy naval
divers and deadly maritime animals such as sharks and
walruses.
Used by: Fins
Type:
M1922
Origin: Unknown
Limited ammo: No
Capacity: Unlimited
In service: Unknown
Mantrap:
Hot Key (Default): P
# of weapon type: 1
Range: None
Description: Looks like a bear trap, except that this one can kill
people. Useful for lone enemy soldiers who go on patrol
routes alone. Allied soldiers won't be affected by this.
Used by: Tread
Type:
Mantrap
Origin: Unknown
Limited: No
Capacity: Unlimited
In service: Unknown
Syringe:
Hot Key (Default): A
# of weapon type: 1
Range: None
Description: Another hand-held weapon. This isn't a combat weapon, but
it's a perfect weapon for covert missions. But, this can
also turn to a deadly weapon. One dosage will stun the
enemy. Another one will knock out the enemy and the
third one will kill the enemy. A useful weapon for Spooky
since he can't use his fists for silent combat.
Used by: Spooky

Syringe

Pistol:

7, I think) to kill enemy troops.

irregular forces, mostly guerrillas, rebels and
terrorists. This is not only used in the open field, but
also used by throwing it in and out of doors, in and out

some unexpected problems.

battlefield, but it can also be thrown in and out of

Remote Control Bomb
Hot Key (Default): S
# of weapon type: 1

of World War I)
Limited ammo: Yes
Capacity: 500 gas reserves

Booby Trap

How to use: Useful for ambushes against enemy personnel. Let Tread
operate his trip wire. Once he's done, let Inferno place
a hand grenade inside the trap. Afterwards, wait for the
enemy soldier to walk or run across the bomb-laden trap.
Be sure to get ready to take action after the bullets
fly.
V. Non-Lethal Weapons
Fists
Hot Key (Default): Q
# of weapon type: 1
Range: None
Description: Used for mostly hand-to-hand combat. But, these are also
used to knock out enemy soldiers. This is the most
"deadliest" stealth weapon that can be used. But be
warned, they'll be out cold for a short while.
Used by: All, except Lips and Spooky
Smoke Bomb
Hot Key (Default): K
# of weapon type: 1
Range: Long
Description: This handy device helps you sneak around enemy-occupied
territory. When used, it releases a black cloud of smoke
that will hinder the enemy's ability to see your own men.
You can also use this to confuse the enemy or to hide
your men behind certain locations. This'll halt not only
the ability to see, but to hear also.
Used by: Tread
Type:
MKII
Origin: Unknown
Limited ammo: Yes
Capacity: 10 bombs
In service: Unknown
CS Grenade
Hot Key (Default): O
# of weapon type: 1
Range: Long
Description: The most useful of all stealth weapons. When thrown to
enemy soldiers, they'll be knocked out and will remain
out cold. The only catch that you'll have is that the
gas will keep them knocked out for a short time. So,
you'll have to hurry.
Used by: Tread
Type:
CS Grenade
Origin: Unknown
Limited ammo: Yes
Capacity: 10 grenades
In service: Unknown
Trip Wire
Hot Key (Default): D
# of weapon type: 1
Range: None
Description: A handy stealth weapon to have around if Tread's with
you. This is used in open paths such as open doorways.
When used, Tread will tie up one end of the wire to the
open path and doing so to the other side. Any enemy
soldier who walks to the wire will fall down and be
unconscious. Useful when luring hard-to-get enemy
personnel to the open.
Used by: Tread
Type:
Trip Wire
Origin: Unknown
Limited ammo: No
Capacity: Unlimited
In service: Unknown
Wine Bottle
Hot Key (Default): P
# of weapon type: 1
Range: None
Description: A handy weapon for Lips, since she can't use her fists to
knock out cold enemy personnel. She'll swing the wine
bottle on the heads of enemy soldiers. But just like the
fists of your own men, they'll be in comatose for a short
period of time.
Used by: Lips
