1)Introduction                                                       [YKC.001]

This Walkthrough is based on the full game of Bioshock, which includes on how
to get the Audio Diaries, Tonics and most of all the Plasmids, I have also
included on how to get most of the trophies, so I will say that it contains
some spoilers. I have based this Faq on all versions I.e. Playststion Three,
PlayStation Four, Xbox One, Pc and the X-Box 360 the game on the PlayStation
and Xbox One is called Bioshock Collection. This is based on the PlayStation
Three version but you can use it on the PlayStation Four.

2)What is Bioshock                                                   [YKC.002]

I remember myself and my little brother watching and playing the teaser of the
game one day in France. And that was it I was hooked on this game I had to get
it, so when I had enough of my hard earned cash I went and brought it. I was
definitely not disappointed I played it about two or three times to get the
different endings, It is based on an underwater city called Rapture and it was
built by a tycoon called Andrew Ryan where people were not controlled by the
laws of the surface. Here is a phrase that is used by Andrew Ryan in the
actual game.

              Im Andrew Ryan and Im here to ask you a question:
               Is a man not entitled to the sweat of his own brow?

             No, says the man in Washington. It belongs to the poor.
               No, says the man in the Vatican. It belongs to God.
               No, says the man in Moscow. It belongs to everyone.

             I rejected those answers. Instead, I choose something
                  Different. I chose the impossible. I chose...

                                    RAPTURE.

              A city where the artist would not fear the censor.
           Where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality.
            Where the great would not be constrained by the small.
   And with the sweat of your brow, Rapture can become your city as well.

Sounds like heaven so people where chosen to go down there to live, but like
most places like this eventually it all goes wrong and the city starts to fall
apart and people start to turn against each other. Basically this happens
because they find a drug called Adam and it changes your actual looks and the
way you are and eventually they took it so much that they spliced themselves
out of the human race. This is the basic expectation of the game more will be
explained to you in detail later in this Faq. I hope you enjoy reading this
Faq as I have written it.

3)Actual Game Play                                                   [YKC.003]

This section how to start a new game, a brief explanation on what controls
does what for the PlayStation Three, Xbox360, PC and the PlayStation Four.I
also explain on how the Vita-chamber works, what collectables to collect and
what they are, how to get health and eve how to collect/spend the Adam that
get from the Little Sisters. It also explains how to hack the security systems
in Rapture, and lastly how to use the Gene Banks.

3.1)Starting A New Game                                                                          [YKC.004]

Basically, this is the starting screen you get after all of the videos. On
this screen you have 3 choices, 1st choice is starting a new game, 2nd choice
is to continue the game from where you last saved and left off and the 3rd
choice is the game options where you can select what gameplay is best for you.
When you select a New Game you are given a choice of difficulty, easy,
difficult and lastly veteran, select the one that suits your playing skills.
After that, you get a screen where you choose the screen brightness like how
dark or bright you want the screen when all of this is done you are now ready
to play Bioshock.

3.3)Vita-Chambers                                                    [YKC.006]

These are tall cylinders with lightning bolts that pulsate in the inside of
the tube. Basically, these are what is known as resurrection tubes, when you
die you will resurrect in the nearest Vita-chamber with all of your weapons
and plasmids. You can turn these off in the options menu if you like, but I
would suggest keeping it on when you play the veteran difficulty. These
Vita-chambers are dotted every in the city of Rapture apart from the last
level.

3.4)Collectables                                                     [YKC.007]

Collectables are bits of household items and rubbish that you can find around
Rapture as you go through the levels, you can also find them on the dead
bodies of the Splicers and Big Daddies. When you get enough of these items you
can go to a U-Invent and make them into ammunition and hack tools, you will
also need to get certain items to get some of the Tonics in the game. Doing
this will help towards the Tonic Collector achievement.

3.5)Collecting Health                                                [YKC.008]

There are three ways in which to collect health in Rapture, the first way is
to collect it from Health Stations, to do this just walk up and press x to use
it does cost about 16 dollars. One thing that I do is that I hack the Health
Stations for two reasons the 1st reason is when the enemy goes to use it it
will drain their health, the 2nd reason is it is cheaper to use. The other
thing is if you don't have enough money you can always shot the Health Station
and it will drop some Health. The second way is finding little Health
containers that are dotted around Rapture, they look like little white
containers on the ground or from the Health Stations that I mentioned above.
The last one is collecting hearts from the Spider Splicers when you kill them
press search and you will get a picture of its heart. This can only be done
from the Smuggler's Hideout and onwards plus not all of them do this.

3.6)Collecting Eve                                                   [YKC.009]

Like collecting Health, Eve is basically a hypo in which you inject into your
arm and thus powering your plasmids. You find these lying around Rapture as
well as an Eve holding machine just walk up and press A to use it.

3.7)Collecting/Spending Adam                                         [YKC.010]

Adam is the only source of payment that is excepted at the Gatherer's Garden.
To get the Adam you have to go around on each level in Rapture and find the
Little Sister's that are guarded by the Big Daddies, more is explained in the
Enemies section of this walkthrough. When you get the Adam go to one of these
Gatherer'sGardens and you can use it to upgrade your plasmids and by Tonics as
well.

3.8)Hacking The Security Systems                                     [YKC.011]

Hacking is an important part of survival in Rapture the things that you can
hack in Bioshock are Turrets, Safes, Security Cameras, Security Bots and
lastly as I mentioned above Health Stations. To use the hacking system just
zap the equipment that you want to hack and then press A and you will go into
another screen that contains tills on the left with pictures of pipes and
pipes that either make the flow faster or slower, plus there is a pipe that
contains a white substance on the right. What this liquid does is that it
starts to flow from the pipe and you have to connect the pipes so that it
flows freely to the other side, sounds simple but the higher the hack level
the faster it flows. Learning this is going to be a great help especially in
the later levels when the enemies start to get tougher and send bots after
you.

3.9)Gene Banks                                                       [YKC.012]

Gene Banks are basically used to change you Plasmids and your Tonics and as
often as you like you are not limited to how many times you can use it. To use
them just walk up and press A and just choose what you want, you can't hack
Gene Banks. They are dotted all over the place.

4)Weapons                                                            [YKC.013]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the section in which I explain about the weaponry that is available in
the Rapture's universe. What ammo there is for each weapon like there is three
different types of ammo for each weapon (apart from the Wrench and the
Research Camera). I have also given a brief description of the weapons
upgrades that you collect from the 12 PTTP machines, (there is an explanation
of these and they are below in this guide) and what improvements that each
upgrade does to the weapons. I also explain briefly what each different ammo
does to the enemy.

4.1)Wrench                                                           [YKC.014]

The Wrench is the first weapon to get in Rapture and it is used for dealing
small amounts of bludgeoning damage (you extra points if you stun the person
first with electricity), break through some of the barriers in certain areas,
and break the occasional lock that is hanging around. Although that some of
the Tonics can be used to splice into your system to improve the effectiveness
of the Wrench, but it is still likely to become a weapon of last resort as you
go through Rapture. Skilled players who like to move around stealth like the
Wrench are your best option.

4.2)Pistol                                                           [YKC.015]

   Weapon Upgrades-Two

The pistol is the only handgun in the city of Rapture and it relies on.38
calibre rounds which, for the earlier enemies quite an adequate weapon but
might not inflict enough damage on the harder and more tougher enemies. The
best way of dispatching enemies is head shots especially when they are
stunned, and having three types of ammo, which gives it usability later in the
game against most enemies. The slight downside is that it is not advise to use
it in heated battles because the Pistol’s initial carrying capacity of a
magazine of six rounds means you have to frequently reload it.

Ammunition

Base Ammo: .38 calibre rounds that can cause a certain amount of moderate
damage. Effective in the early levels but a bit out of it’s league in latter
levels. Best used against the Thuggish and Leadhead Splicers.

Advanced Ammo:..... .38 calibre armour-piercing ammo that can inflict moderate
armour-piercing damage to armoured robots and enemies. Best used against
Security Bots, Security Turrets, and Big Daddies.

Inventible Ammo: .38 calibre anti personnel rounds that inflict moderate
amount of anti personnel damage. Best used against Nitro Splicers, Houdini
Splicers, and Spider Splicers.

Weapon Upgrades

Pistol Clip Size: An auto-loading clip effectively quadruples the clip size of
the Pistol. This upgrade makes it possible to load 24 rounds of ammunition at
once instead of just 6.

Pistol Damage Increase: An ammunition accelerator increases the damage done by
the Pistol. More damage per round means you go through bullets slower and have
to reload less frequently.


4.3)Machine Gun                                                      [YKC.016]

The Machine Gun has a tendency to have a rapid rate of fire which can be a
good thing especially if there are lots of enemies around at short to mid
range, this can cut through pretty much most of the enemies through out the
game especially in the skilled hands of a gunner. The down side is that the
Machine Gun has a high extensive recoil, so I advise to fire it in short
bursts to the recoil under control, otherwise you will chew up the ammo for it
and bascily hit nothing. The reload on the Machine Gun is nice and quick as
well, basically all you have to do is load the magazine of 40 rounds and just
fire. This is an advantage for it because you dont have to worry about long
reload time.

Ammunition

Base Ammo: Auto Rounds that do a small amount of piercing damage. The base
ammo is useful against Thuggish Splicers, Leadhead Splicers, and Nitro
Splicers.

Advanced Ammo: Anti-personnel Auto Rounds that do a small amount of anti
personnel damage. This ammo type is best saved for use against Houdini
Splicers and Spider Splicers.

Inventible Ammo: Armour-Piercing Ammo Rounds that do a small amount of armour
piercing damage. This ammunition type is extremely effective against Big
Daddies.

Weapon Upgrades

Machine Gun Damage Increase: An acceleration framework increases the damage of
the Machine Gun. Increasing the damage each bullet does makes it possible to
conserve ammunition and have to reload less often.

Machine Gun Kickback Reduction: A stabilization cylinder reduces the kickback
of the Machine Gun. Once this upgrade has been installed, you’ll be able to
control the weapon better, which means you can hold the trigger for longer
periods without firing astray.

4.4)Shotgun                                                          [YKC.017]

   Weapon Upgrades-Two

The Shotgun is best used at short range because of it power, it also fires
pellets (buck) which means you don’t have to aim so much with it to score a
direct kill. The shotgun does however have it limitations; it can only be
loaded with four shells at a time and also has a slow firing rate. The other
down side is that the Shotgun has a very slow reloading time, as each shell
has to be inserted one at a time. So the Shotgun is best used for close
quarters combat, especially on levels where the enemies can jump out at you
any second. If you pair this with Winter Blast and you can freeze any Splicer
and then shot them into tiny pieces.

Ammunition:

Base Ammo: 00 Buck that does a moderate amount of piercing damage at close
range. This ammunition can deliver significant damage to all types of
Splicers.

Advanced Ammo: Electric Buck that does a moderate amount of electrical damage.
In addition to causing damage, it also shocks the enemy temporarily. This is
excellent for use against mechanical devices such as Security Bots and
Turrets. Can also be used with some success against Big Daddies.

Inventible Ammo: Exploding Buck that does a large amount of combined piercing
and heat damage. This is arguably the most lethal ammunition in all of Rapture
and should be reserved for boss battles and Big Daddy encounters.

Weapons Upgrades

Shotgun Rate of Fire: A steel gear accelerator increases the Shotguns rate of
fire. This is one of the most beneficial weapon upgrades in the game and
really helps make the Shotgun a more viable option in many situations.

Shotgun Damage Increase: A gas assisted firing mechanism increases the
Shotguns damage. This upgrade makes the base 00 Buck more effective against
all enemies, but youll notice the biggest difference against Nitro Splicers
and Spider Splicers.

4.5)Grenade Launcher                                                 [YKC.018]

The Grenade Launcher lacks in capacity makes up for its amazing fire rate
reloading time and it’s fantastic range. It also makes up for ammunition and
sheer firepower; it can be used for clearing out a room full of Splicers,
setting traps for various enemies and also homing rockets for the big bosses.
Make sure though you use it sparely because there is very little ammo for it.

Ammunition:

Base Ammo: Fragmentation Grenades are grenades that deliver a large amount of
piercing damage. Fire a Frag into a room or a cluster of enemies and it will
score you numerous amounts of kills or in a radius of a much larger foes
causing splash damage.

Advanced Ammo: Proximity Mine does a large amount of piercing damage when
stepped on by enemies and yourself. So not actually you detonate it when the
enemy steps in the red ring.

Inventible Ammo: The Heat-Seeking Rocket-Propelled Grenade is a guided missile
that you can use against the Big Daddies, it causes a large amount of heat
damage in a small radius. It is an extremely powerful kind of ammo, not to be
use against lesser enemies.

Weapons Upgrades

Grenade Launcher Damage Increase: Incendiary injectors increase the damage of
the Grenade Launcher. This upgrade increases the damage inflicted by all three
types of grenade ammunition.

Grenade Launcher Damage Immunity: Auto generated shaped charges make you
immune to the damage from your own grenades. This is an excellent upgrade to
acquire as it makes it possible to detonate grenades at close range without
injuring yourself.

4.6)Research Camera                                                  [YKC.019]

The Research Camera does not do any form of damage to the enemy, but still
quite an important weapon to use. Use it to take pictures of all the enemies
that you encounter to get their five bonus levels of research. When you taken
all five pictures, you are rewarded with free tonics and increased damage.
Each photo that you take is given a score on how good the picture is, if you
take a picture of a dead enemy or the same picture you are penalized. Also the
score is based on whether it is an action shot, multiple enemies, and how it
is in the centre. You can only use it on Hostile Beings not on the turrets,
security bots, and Security Cameras.

Ammunition

Film: The Research Camera can store quite a lot of film for use when you are
taking the pictures for research. It works the same way as normal ammo does
for other weapons, it just doesnt cause any damage.

This the most unique weapon to ever encountered in Rapture. The Chemical
Thrower is like a large tank-like weapon that can be used for all sorts of
chemical agents like burning, freezing and electrocute. It fires a non-stop
stream of short range chemicals which is perfect for those times when you are
stuck and totally out numbered by the enemy. It can also be used as a
replacement of plasmids if you ran out of EVE. The chemical Thrower is
extremely powerful but it does has it draw backs, it only fires at a short
range and also has a very slow reload time.

Ammunition

Base Ammo: Napalm is a moderate form of dealing heat damage and also it can
set the opponent on fire as well. It can be a very useful type of ammunition
type for clearing out large groups of enemies, especially when it is combined
with Human Inferno and it can be deadly.

Advanced Ammo: Liquid Nitrogen does a form of moderate form of cold damage and
can also freeze your opponent. It is useful for situations if you need to make
a quick getaway and buy your self some time. Very potent if combined with the
Frozen Field tonic.

Inventible Ammo: Electric Gel that gives of a form of electrocute damage and
also it can shock your opponent. It is useful against the Big Daddies other
things that are metallic and Armour-plated. Best used with the Electric Flesh
tonic.

Weapon Upgrades

Chemical Thrower Consumption Rate: A tapered nozzle reduces the ammunition
consumption rate of the Chemical Thrower. Given the slow reload speed of the
Chemical Thrower and relative scarcity of ammunition compared to other
weapons, this is a very good upgrade to acquire.

Chemical Thrower Range: A pressure-calibrated hose increases the range of the
Chemical Thrower. This upgrade makes the Chemical Thrower all the more useful,
since you dont have to get too close to your victims!

4.8)Crossbow                                                         [YKC.021]

If you want to employ stealth like moves in the game then the crossbow is the
ideal weapon for you. It is the only weapon to use against the Splicers if you
choose this tactic. Not only is it silent it is lethal if you aim it properly.
Head shots will most likely kill all types of Splicers even the toughest ones
because with its zoom in ability and aim with pinpoint precision makes it
entirely possible to kill enemies in the distance before they even realise
that you are there. It is a speciality weapon but has a very slow reload time
and very slow rate of fire, but when upgraded fun to use and also can be fired
from the hip.

Ammunition

Base Ammo: The common ammo for it is the steel-tip bolt that can deliver a
large amount of piercing damage. They often can be reclaimed after you fired
them from the corpses, which can make a small quantity last much longer.

Advanced Ammo: An Incendiary Bolts can deliver quite a large amount of heat
and damage and in some cases it can set the opponent on fire. This can be an
advantage to you as the Incendiary Bolt can be shot at enemies, which are in
the distance especially if they are to far for the Chemical Thrower and
Incinerate.

Inventible Ammo: A Trap Bolt is a form of trap which when fired into wall will
give out an electrical charge to anyone who trips it of including you. Fire it
at a wall and it will anchor it self in the wall then move away and it is set.

Crossbow Breakage Chance: An automatic tension adjuster greatly reduces the of
bolts breaking on impact. This upgrade makes it much more likely that the
Steel-Tip Bolts you fire will be retrievable.

Crossbow Damage Increase: A high-tensile bow increases the damage done by
crossbow bolts. With this upgrade installed, the crossbow becomes so powerful
that you can take down most any Splicer with a single shot to the torso!

5) Enemies                                                           [YKC.022]

I am now going to take you through the enemies and the bosses that you will
encounter through out Rapture. I will explain a bit on what are their
weaknesses is. Also I will put in the research bonuses so you can see what
bonuses you get when you take a certain amount of pictures of each enemy in
Rapture with your research camera. Bear in mind you can’t take pictures until
you are asked to get it by Peach Wilkins in Fontaine Fisheries.


5.1)Splicers/Thuggish Splicer                                        [YKC.023]

Splicers:

Splicers are quite a common class of enemy in the whole of Rapture. But they
werent always these threatening genetic freaks they where once normal people
getting on with their normal lives just like everyone else until they met this
drug called Adam. At first they looked at Adam as a means to help themselves
to work harder and to get stronger and also a means to look a little bit
younger than they are, then things started to go wrong they got hooked on the
Adam because it was a drug like any other drug there is and they where taking
it like no tomorrow. Then before they realised it they were constantly
shooting up Adam that they spliced themselves out of the human race and they
are pretty angry about it.

Thuggish Splicer Research Bonuses

Thuggish Splicer:

These are the most common of Splicers and not the strongest; they will attack
you with various tools that they find lying around Rapture in which they can
use as a club. Most of them opt for the lead pipe, but basically what ever
they can get their hands on, later on you will encounter a type of Thuggish
Splicer that will have electrified their bodies and they are also immune to
the Electro Bolt plasmid. They do a reasonable amount of electrical damage to
you they are also not the most brightest of enemies because all they do is
rush at you heads on, they will commonly leap at you before they attack. They
also try and bring their weapon down on to your head as they leap at you and
are susceptible to most types of attacks but not your antipersonnel ammunition
save this for tougher enemies your normal ammo is quite sufficient, especially
when you use your Incinerate and Electro Bolt.

5.2)Leadhead Splicer                                                 [YKC.024]

Leadhead Splicer:

These are another low level type of Splicer but unlike the Thuggish Splicer
they like to use firearms then a club like weapon they really prefer pistols
mainly, but you find later on in the game that they will be carrying Machine
guns. Unlike the Thuggish Splicers the Leadheads like to keep the distance
between you and them and they strafe in and out of cover, but they are still
quite easy to take down though and you dont need to use any of your special
ammo. When you start to attack you can also use your Electro Bolt to shock
them then use your Pistol, Machine Gun as well as your Shotgun to finish them
of.

5.3)Spider Splicer                                                   [YKC.025]

I would say that out all of the Splicers in Rapture that you encounter these
are the most disturbing Splicers of all, they are mainly acrobats and the only
weapon they carry are meat hooks nothing else. They evade your fire by doing
acrobat stunts i.e. they dodge your bullets by doing cartwheels and back
handsprings, they also can crawl along the ceiling so watch out, you will hear
them before you see them crawling along the ceiling because they make a
clanging noise with there meat hooks. There main attack is to fling razor
sharp sickles at you then disappearing into the darkness so that it is more
difficult for you to find them and kill them, the next attack that they have
is when they are on the ground they like to use close range combat basically
they come in close and try to disembowel you with their vicious meat hooks.
My advice is don’t take the Spider Splicer lightly they are the most lethal
inhabitants of Rapture, when you see them deal with them quickly with Winter
Blast or Incinerate and Anti Personnel rounds. When you have killed them
search their bodies for their organs for their health restoring properties.


5.4)Nitro Splicer                                                    [YKC.026]

The Nitro Splicers are what I call the mad bombers of the whole of Rapture,
you will see them running around carry a wooden box which is full of grenades
that they have made themselves in which they will not think twice in using
them against you to set you ablaze. They are very quick movers and when you
get to close to them they will drop a smoke grenade behind them and then try
to get away, because they know that they are pretty rubbish in close combat so</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
they try to maintain a safe distance between you and themselves while using
balconies and various other areas so they can get a pretty good elevation
advantage over you. When you move around and you hear a whistling noise it
means they are around, so equip your Telekinesis and grab the grenade and
throw it back, then equip your Machine gun with Anti Personnel rounds. Nitro
Splicers are really that strong but if you dont get ride of them they will
make whatever you are doing very difficult.

Houdini Splicer:

The Houdini Splicers are a very advanced race of Splicer, because they have
mange to master the wonderful arts of the ability to hurl ice, fire and also
the ability to disappear in a lovely burst of a type of red gas and then
reappear a few moments later somewhere else in the area. You can spend a long
time in trying to kill these guys if you don’t dispose of them quickly,
basically get out your most powerful guns load them with Anti Personnel rounds
and basically open fire when you see them. Also try to use your Winter Blast
on their fireball throwing techniques or on them so that you have a chance to
hit them before they disappear.

5.6)Big Daddies                                                      [YKC.028]

Bouncer and Elite Bouncer:

These are one of types of Big Daddies; the sole purpose of the Bouncer is to
protect the Little Sisters in the area that it is patrolling. This big lump of
armour has a great big drill as a arm and has three main attacks, first of all
he will charge at you in which for their size they can really move at a fast
rate. Secondly that drill it has they will use it to slam into the floor and
use it to disorientate everyone in the vicinity. The third attack is sometimes
after it has charge at you it will use it drill to inflict a lot of damage on
you especially your torso. The Elite Bouncer is basically the same as the
Bouncer but much more faster and stronger as well more aggressive and more
durable, the only to take down one of these is to use Electric Buck Shot or
Anti Personnel Rounds.

Rosie and Elite Rosie Bouncer Research Bonuses

Rosie and Elite Rosie:

These are the second type of Big Daddies; the Rosie is slightly different to
there counter part the Bouncer like they don’t have a drill as a arm and they
don’t do close combat. They like to keep their distance from you as well as
move back and forth from cover making sure that it is between you and the
Little Sister it is protecting. The two weapons that the Rosie carries is a
Rivet gun and Proximity Mines, the Rivet gun that they carry fires deadly
metal projectiles with extreme accuracy plus tremendous velocity, but the
downside is that the firing rate is not really exceptional but that is not a
problem because the Rosie only needs to fire a few shots and even the toughest
foes will be taken down. They also can fire the Proximity Mines with deadly
accuracy and when they land they remain active indefinitely basically anyone
who steps into the red ring they will go off you use this as an advantage
because when you fighting them or any other enemy you can try and get to set
them off. The Elite are stronger, durable and more aggressive. The only to
take down one of these is to use Electric Buck Shot or Anti Personnel
Rounds exactly like the Bouncers and Elite Bouncers.

5.7)Little Sisters                                                   [YKC.029]

Little Sister:

The Little Sisters are the forefront of the founder Andrew Ryan’s crazy plans
for domination, basically they are innocent little girls with the Adam-infused
species of sea slug in which turns them into an invincible stores and
collectors of Adam. They move around in the city’s ventilation holes and they
only come out when their Big Daddy chaperons are about because they can’t
defend for themselves but they are invincible to damage for a little while but
still they must not fall into the wrong hands, the Splicers would love to get
their hands on them because they carry so much Adam. The only way to get your
hands on the Little Sisters is to kill the Big Daddy that is protecting them,
and then you only get a choice to Harvest or Rescue. If you choose to Harvest
the Little Sister you will get the net of 180 of Adam but you have to live
with the idea that you have killed an innocent little girl, if you choose to
Rescue the Little Sisters then you only get the net of 80 of Adam but every
three that you rescue Tenenbaum will send a valuable reward.

5.8)Turrets

Turrets:

These are the lone gunmen of Raptures security system. The intruder detection
capability as they sense an enemy and open fire, they are fitted with a high
calibre Machine gun, Rocket Propelled Grenades and a project flamethrower.
Turrets can be dangerous but they do have their drawbacks, the first one is
the Turret is stationary and only rotates from that point it move at all so it
makes it easy for you to stay in a place where you can see and shoot it but it
can’t shoot you, the next one is that you can actually hear it when it starts
to warm up it’s engine when it detects you and when it does this you can
quickly run and hide. The last one is when you walk around you can sometimes
see the red dot on top of the Turret. The basic way to attack these Turrets is
to shock them with your Electro Bolt and then hack them because once these are
hacked they then start to attack the enemy, in which this can be very helpful
if the room is full or you have a big attack wave of Splicers coming your way.

5.9)Flying Bots                                                      [YKC.031]

Security Bot:

The Security Bot only attacks when it is activated by alarm system if not they
lie around basically on the ground, which makes it easier for you to hack them.
When they are activated they will basically fly around and look for the culprit
that triggered the alarm, which can be annoying for you because they have twin
Machine Guns and if you get more than two of them on you they will make pretty
short work of you. When they are pursuing you have two options, which are
using the Security Bot shutdown switch all you have to do is pay the 20 dollar
fee to disable them. The other option is to hack them, to do this you have to
shock them first and then hack them. Then when you have successfully hacked
them they will fly around you and follow you wherever you go, you can have up
to two Security Bots. This can be very handy if you get caught out by a load
of enemies.

5.10)Security Camera                                                 [YKC.032]

The Security Cameras are basically mounted on walls as you go around playing
Bioshock. They move from side to side and you can tell were they are as they
make as whirling noise and have light on them, red means enemy and green means
hacked. When they spot you it takes a few seconds for them to register you in
which gives you a chance to zap it or move out of it's range, if it does go
off a load of Security Bots will come and attack you. I personally would try
and hack these.

5.11)Dr Stienman                                                     [YKC.033]

Dr Stienman is the head surgeon of Medical Pavilion, his dream is to make
everyone in the world more beautiful by taking the ugly people and change the
way they look. Eventually he goes mad and most of the people he works on end
up being mutated of horribly disfigured just so he could get the perfection
and symmetry. His ways are appalling and most of his patients die on the
actual operating table, when he sees you he shouts ugly and pulls out his sub
machine gun.

5.12)Peach Wilkins                                                   [YKC.034]

Peach Wilkins is the Splicer that owns and speaks to you at the entrance to
Fontaine's Fisheries. He takes after a Nitro Splicer but a lot better at
throwing his explosives which are quite frequently and with deadly accuracy,
plus he moves around hell lot quicker and more mobile than the Nitro Splicers
you seen so far in the game. He has a complete fear of Fontaine and you can't
be swayed that he is dead, when you finally get through the door he asks you
to put your weapons in the container next to the door. To defeat him I used my
Incinerate and wrench.

5.13)Sander Cohen                                                    [YKC.035]

Sander Cohen lives in Fort Frolic where all of the plays and musicals are
based and he is the only Artist and Musician who has the ear of Andrew Ryan's

the used Adam from the dead bodies or Angles as they taught them to call the
dead bodies that were scattered around Rapture, they called this the Little
Sisters Project. After a while Tenenbaum had a change of heart because the
Adam was causing a genetic splicing within Rapture, and is now starting to try
and save the Little Sisters. She lives in secret hardly going out in the city,
she also will show you gratitude to you if you help her and save the

and art. Basically Rapture was a dream of Andrew Ryan and he made it into a

for the Poor, and the Little Sister Orphanage. It was Fontaine that came up

plane losing control and crashing into the sea. When the picture comes back
you are underwater trying to get back to the surface, as you do this bits of
plane wreckage and peoples personnel belongs is floating down past you. When
you reach the surface you gain control of the actual game, swim between the
ring of fire and the tail of the plane as you get near the tail the fire
spreads towards you [if you want you can watch the tail sink beneath the
water], go towards the tall black tower and go up the steps into the building.
As you go in the building the door slams shut behind you and then the lights
eliminate a great big statue of Andrew Ryan, look around and then go
downstairs into the bathysphere. When you get in pull the lever by pressing
the A button and enjoy the cut scene.

10.2)Welcome To Rapture                                              [YKC.118]

When you surface you see Johnny pleading for his life and then gets killed by
the Splicer, then the Splicer scents you there and jumps on top of the
bathysphere and attacks it. Atlas will then ask you kindly to pick up the
short wave radio, when you do this he tells you that he is not quite sure how
you survived the plane crash but tells you that he will get up on top, when he
says this the door to the bathysphere will open. When this happens walk
forwards and turn left and you will see your first vita-chamber then turn
around and walk forwards, you will see a load of signs on the floor and a sign
saying that all of the baby sphere are out of abounds. Eventually you end up
in a room full of debris and the Splicer that killed Johnny, as you get near
the Splicer you hear an alarm from a camera and a bot flys up behind you and
kills the Splicer. This is wear you get your first weapon the wrench, use this
to knock a hole in the wall and climb through it, be careful as you climb
through and start to go up the steps a Thuggish Splicer kicks a sofa
that is on fire at you. When you get to the top kill the Thuggish Splicer that
kicked the sofa at you and search the body. Then go up the stairs where you
see the great big hand and a sign that says Plasmids and press A at the
Gatherer's Garden, when you do this you will inject yourself with a needle.

After this happens you will go into some kind of shock and you will also have
Atlas telling you to calm down. After the cut scene you will have your first
Plasmid which is Electro Bolt, use it on the door control which is broken and
you will go down a tunnel which is surrounded by water, as you go along a part
of the Jet floats down and smashes into the tunnel and it starts to flood. Go
along the tunnel up through the plane out of the door at the side of the
plane, carry on through the tunnel to the door in front of you, go through the
door and you will be in a room with a Vita-Chamber and some stuff that you can
search through also in one of the rooms is an eve hypo. As you are doing this,
a Thuggish Splicer will come along and Atlas will to you to give him the one
two, which is shock him with your plasmid then whack him with your wrench
while he is shocked. When you have down that go to the door which was in front
when you can in and kill the Thuggish Splicer that comes in and go up the
stairs and will be in a room with banners hanging down and in front there is a
statue with water leaking on it, as you get up there if you look up a Thuggish
Splicer shouts out something and then whatever it was it blows up and sends
the Thuggish Splicer tumbling down into the room below him. Don’t think that
he is dead because he then rushes out and attacks you while on fire so kill
him quickly otherwise he will do damage to you as well as fire damage, I found
out if you go down the stairs and keep going backwards he will follow and buy
the time he gets to you the fire will have gone out and taken a lot of his
health as well so in the process easy to kill. Go into the room that the
Splicer can out of as you go in the doors lock and the ceiling caves in
and starts to flood, when this happens go into the only working lift and it
starts to take you up.

As you go up Atlas asks you if you could save his wife and children in
Neptune's Bounty. When the lift stops get out and go to your left and pick up
the first aid box by the flowers and the teddy bear, go back towards the lift
and follow the path around until you see a pram and a Thuggish Splicer, kill
her and look in the pram and you will get your second weapon which is the
pistol, then go through the double doors in front you are now in the Kashmir
Restaurant. If you go downstairs you will get your first and kill the two
Splicers one outside the kitchen door and one actually inside the kitchen,
then search the kitchen and go back through the door and you will see two
Splicers in the water, zap them with your Electro Bolt and watch them fry.
Then on one of the tables where you fried the Splicers is your first Audio
Diary [New Year's Eve Alone]. Then go back upstairs and kill the Thuggish
Splicer at the top of the stairs then head towards the toilets go into the
dames toilets first and collect the Audio Diary [Hole in the Bathroom
Wall] and see the ghost scene, then go into the gents and go through the hole
in the wall as you make your way to the gents at the end cubicle a Thuggish
Splicer will run out. This is where you get your first glimpse of a Little
Sister and Atlas will tell you a little bit about them, as he is doing this
cross over the room below and make your way down the stairs then you will see
a Thuggish Splicer come in and tries to kill the Little Sister but she screams
and then you get your First Glimpse of a Big Daddy which is a Bouncer, don’t
worry you don’t have to kill him yet.

When you get control of your character search the body and then turn to your
right and use your wrench to knock the lock of and go into the room where the
Little Sister was and search the body on the floor then go back through the
door and the arch way and turn left search the body on the floor and then go
along the corridor, as you do this you get attack by a Leadhead Splicer kill
her and pick up the pistol she was carrying for ammo and search the body. Make
your way through here killing any enemies on the way and also search the Big
Daddy the bottom of the stairs, and eventually you end up in a pool of water
make your way to Neptune’s Bounty but as you go near the gate and an alarm
will go of and then you get attacked a whole load of Splicers. Eventually
Atlas asks you to make your way to Medical Pavilion so go through the gate
that leads you to that place.

10.3)Medical Pavilion                                                [YKC.119]

When you get out of the bathysphere you will be in the reception of Medical
Pavilion, if you go up to the reception desk you will see an Audio Diary
[Released Today] on top of the desk and behind it is some dollars, then go to
the vending machine and buy any ammo if you need any then go to the doors next
to it and hack the Security Bot and go through the doors go up to the desk and
pick up the Audio Dairy [Adam's Changes] there. Then make your way up the
stairs and turn left so you can see the Emergency switch pull it and an alarm
will go off, then go through the doors behind you and pull the switch and pick
up the Machine Gun when you do this you will be bombard by a whole load of
Splicers. Then make your way back down to the reception area and go up the
stairs next to it and enter the actual Medical Pavilion and go through till
you enter a corridor keep going and you will see a ghost scene, by the door
where the ghost was there is a button which you press and you will enter the
main Surgery. Right in front of you is an Audio Diary [Higher Standards] pick
it up and hack the two turrets in this room, one behind the in front of the
entrance, and one in a room sort of opposite the first turret when you hacked
both of them you can relax a bit and concentrate on your objective and looking
for any loot because the turrets will almost take care of the Splicers that
are in the area.

If you look behind where the first turret is you see another Audio Diary
[Parasite Expectations] then walk past where the second turret and go down the
stairs along that wall and you see two Vending Machines use them if you need
them. Also in this area there is a spot where a table and chair and on that
table is yet another Audio Diary [Love for Science] and a bit further along
there is a health station hack it so the Splicers can’t use it, on the wall
where there is a broken sign is a another Audio Dairy [Limits of Imagination]
then go back to the two vending machines and pick the Audio Diary [Vandalism]
there. When you are done searching this area make your way to the secures door
and go through the door and go along the corridor, if you look across to your
left you will see a Bouncer and a Little Sister go through the door at the end
and you will see Steinman but he gets away so go back through the way you came
and Atlas will tell you about Telekinesis. Make your way to the Eternal Flame
sign and as you get near it a Nitro Splicer blows up a Thuggish Splicer, kill
the Nitro Splicer and go through the door he came out of, to your left there
is a Audio Diary [Surgery's Picasso] then search the rest of this area. Then
go through the door behind the desk, you be in the cremation room search in
this area is a Security Camera zap it and hack it to make life a bit more
simple for you to search this area, also if you go to the furnace near where
the camera is there is a body on top of the table and press the button next to
you on the right and when it comes out you will get your first tonic
[Hacker's Delight] after that go up the stairs and kill the Leadhead Splicer
patrolling around here and crawl into the space and pick up your second
plasmid which is Incinerate. Use this on the oil slick and it while kill the
Splicers patrolling near you, after that is done go back downstairs and make
your way down another set of stairs to the frozen doors, also in the ice is
another Audio Diary [Freezing Pipes] when you got it melt the ice and make
your way through the doors.

When you are inside this room in the middle is a shotgun go and pick it up and
the lights will go out and you get ambushed by a load of Splicers, kill them
all and the lights will come back on and you will relies that you are in Dandy
Dental this is where you get the Telekinesis. Go through the door in front and
go through the door after that, you will be in a big room which in the corner
to your right is a dentist chair, search the area and go through the glass
door and in front of you is another Audio Diary [Testing Telekinesis] and then
pick up the plasmid Telekinesis. Go back the way you came and pick up the
Audio Diary [Useless Experiments] and make your to the room where the body is
hanging out of the window, be careful here because to your left is a turret so
quickly jump through the window and zap and hack it pick up the Audio Diary
[Plasmids are the Paint] and the tonic [Speedy Hacker] then go through the
door that was to your left when you first entered which is now in front of you</pre><pre id="faqspan-3">
search this area and zap and hack the RPG, when you go through the next door
if you look down to your left there is a grate whack it with your wrench and
crawl through it search this room also pick up the tonic [Wrench Jockey] and
back in the other room an Audio Diary [Enrage Trial], finally you can make
your way to the frozen doorway to the Twilight Field Funeral Homes, go in and
search the cash till then to your right and right again is a Leadhead Splicer
crying over a coffin kill her and pick up the goodies in the coffin, if you
look under Eve Hypo there is code [0451] and behind you is a door with a
combination lock to open it. Put in the code and pick up the goodies then go
across the and a Leadhead Splicer will throw a coffin at you kill her and
destroy the turret or hack it up to you then hack the safe behind it, then go
through the door that is behind the desk and search the room in the end room
kill the Thuggish Splicer. Make your way back to where you first saw the good
Doctor and use your Telekinesis against the Nitro Splicer to use the grenade
against the debris and go through it, on the wall in front of you is a Audio
Guide [Symmetry] and follow the corridor, as you do this there is a tonic on
the floor [Static] and a turret destroy it and go through the door on your
right. In here is a Security Camera and a Audio Diary [Aphrodite Waking] hack
or destroy the camera if you want to also behind the camera is a safe. Carry
on and eventually you see Dr Steinman, now this part is simple all you have to
do is kill him how you do it is up to you what I found easy was my Machine gun
and Incinerate but as I said it is up to you on how you kill him.

When you have killed him pick up his Machine gun and his key and go back to
the main foyer but before you do check the body on operating table for a Audio
Diary [Not What She Wanted]. As you go towards the tunnel you hear a loud
explosion and Atlas tells you that it is another tunnel collapsing, so when
you go through the Securis door you have to go through the door on your right
and as you do this a Big Daddy comes flying through the window and this is
your first glimpse of a Little Sister. After the cut scene you get to choose
weather to Harvest or Rescue it is up to you depending on what you do you will
get a different ending, when you have chosen make you way to your also first
Gatherer's Garden spend some Adam and also pick up the Audio Diary
[Gatherer's Vulnerability]. Right go back to the Foyer and when you get there
you will encounter your first Big Daddy and Little Sister; right the easy way
I found was to use my Armour Piercing bullets from my Pistol or my Electric
Shock from my Shotgun, when you have done this make your way to where you
pulled the switch and triggered the alarm, stick in the key from Steinman and
it will release the gate way to the bathysphere and the end of the level.

10.4)Neptune Bounty                                                  [YKC.120]

You start of in the bathysphere and in front of you is a flight of stairs and
statue of a Splicer, go up the stairs and turn to your right and use the Gene
Bank if you want to also next to it is a Vending Machine. Then climb over the
metal door and go through the doorway here and go along the corridor and
through the door at the end and then another door and you will be in the
blower Wharf. This is where you encounter your first Rosie Big Daddy basically
it is the same principles as the Bouncer only difference is it likes to keep
its distance from you and between you and the Little Sister. My advice is jump
into the floor below go under the floor above you and hack the Turrets at each
end, then all you have to do is finish of what is left behind, next to one of
these turrets is a Audio Diary [Bathysphere Keys] after the fight is finished
if you in the middle there is tonic [Medical Expert] if you want you can wait
a bit and another Big Daddy turns up with a Little Sister. After this make
your way up the ramp on the opposite side to where you came in and make your
way through the door there, go along the corridor and turn right into
Fontaine’s Fisheries as you enter this part of the level in front of you is a
Gene Bank and behind that is a Gatherer’s Garden. Make your way down the two
flights of stairs and zap the water with your Electro Bolt and kill any
Splicer's down there, then if you go under the stairs there is some ammo,
follow the path around until you come up to a locked gate hack it and go
inside, in here there is some ammo and an Audio Diary [Timmy H. Interrogation]
if you go behind the body you can see a gap between the wall and the metal
cage go through it and pick up the buckshot in the corner.

Go back the way you came and zap and hack the RPG turret climb up and over and
go through the door, in front of you is corpse and by it’s feet is two first
aid kits go around the pillar and there is a belt with ammo and a first aid
kit. Use your wrench to knock on the door of Fontaines Fisheries Entrance and
you will meet Peach Wilkins, he is a nervous sort of guy if not slightly mad
he’s no problem in killing you if he finds out that you work for Fontaine, he
asks you to get the Research Camera and hunt down three Spider Splicers and
kill afterwards take a picture of their bodies to prove you have killed them.
Half way through his conversation you get attacked by a Spider Splicer, these
are a little tougher to kill and they also can attack you from the ceiling,
when that is done and she is dead you get given the Grenade Launcher go back
through the way that you came in and go back up the stairs and go through the
way you came in but instead going to your left go straight ahead and turn to
your right kill the Splicers and turn right again and go down under the metal
walkway and fall it around and eventually you come up to a corpse sticking out
of the ground and an Audio Diary [Fontaine Must Go] go back and go up the
stairs and turn right turn right again go up the stairs and through a door. In
this room there is another Big Daddy and Little Sister to compete with in the
first area on a table is a Audio Diary [Finding the Sea Slug] and in one of
the bodies is another Audio Diary [Picked Up Timmy H] and behind that body is
an Audio Dairy [Marsha Come Home] zap and hack the RPG turret.

To get out of here use your wrench and brake the lock and go through kill the
Leadhead Splicer in front and turn to your left, you will see another Audio
Diary [Watch Fontaine] go up the stairs in this area and break the lock, you
to be quick because you have two turrets and two RPG turrets to zap and hack
and also a Security Camera, the good news is if you manage to hack all of
these they will take of all of the enemies that come in this area which leaves
you free to search everything. Along one of the walls is a crawl space go
through it destroy the Security Camera and search the desk on top of the desk
is a Audio Diary [Have My Badge], go back through the crawl place and go
through the big hole in the wall and you will be in a room with a Gene Bank on
the wall and a desk follow the path around and go through the door in front of
on Sullivans desk is the Research Camera pick it up and take a picture of the
Spider Splicer in the room next to you. When you go back through you will hear
a loud explosion carry on and kill the Splicer and go through the broken
window and you will be back at the beginning sort off. On the ledge here there
is a new plasmid [Security Bulls eye] pick it up and pick up the Shotgun and
jump down when you do this kill the Splicer that is in the corner and zap and
hack or destroy the Security Camera on the other side is an Audio Diary
[Adam Discovery] and go through the door and pick another Audio Diary
[Eden Leaking] turn to your left and go through the door, go along the tunnel
killing any Splicers, on the bench is an Audio Diary [Fontaine’s Smugglers] at
the junction turn right and go through the door of Jet Postal and go through
the door to your left is a Audio Diary [Death Penalty in Rapture] go through
the door and your second picture for Peach Wilkins.

Then make you way across to Fighting McDonagh’s Tavern to find your third
Spider Splicer and also your last, when you go through the door make your way
up the stairs into the actual tavern and sort of to your right is an Audio
Diary [Smuggling Ring] and on one of the tables is another Audio Diary
[Working Late Again] if you follow the room you will see that you can go
upstairs or down stairs, go downstairs first after you are done here go
upstairs and search the area until you have taken third and finale picture of
the Spider Splicer, if you go to the door with the combination on it and put
in the number 7533 and pick up the Audio Diary [Saw Marsha Today] after that
make your way down to where the Gene Bank is and turn right and go towards the
crawling hole in the wall and immediately to your right when you go through is
another Audio Diary [Meeting Ryan] make your way to the other end of this
crawl space and this area, if you want to see something funny in one of these
ones is a Rosie walking around out on the seabed also in this room is an Audio
Diary [Rapture Changing] and there is another Audio Diary [Arresting Fontaine].

Now make you way back to Peach Wilkins, when he lets you in put your weapons
into the Pneumatic tube and pick up the Tonic [Focused Hacker] and now go
through
the door. It is a trick you get ambushed by Peach Wilkins men as soon as the
door closes. When the fight is over go downstairs to the Pneumatic tube and
collect your weapons, and go back upstairs and search the whole area. When
done go back downstairs until you reach the room below and you will see you
first Power To The People machine use it and then go to your left and unfreeze
the door and go inside, kill the two Splicers and collect your last Audio
Dairy [Putting the Screws On] come out and go through the door on your right
watch the ghost scene and go through the hole.

10.5)Smuggler's Hideout                                              [YKC.121]

You start this level were you where on the last level so keep on going along
this walkway and eventually you come up to a room with a turret in it zap it
and hack it pick up the Audio Dairy [Meeting With Fontaine] and go down the
slop on your left and crawl through the hole and carry on until you come up to
a locked gate break the lock and carry along this walkway and you will be in a
control room throw the switch and watch what happens, when it all finishes
make your way down to the submarine bay stopping on the way by a door with a
lock break it and there is an Audio Diary [Kraut Scientist] in here and some
pistol ammo. When you get to the submarine bay it blows up, Atlas then tells
you to make your way to Arcadia stopping on the other side of the door frame
to pick another Audio Dairy [Offered a Deal].

10.6)Arcadia                                                         [YKC.122]

Audio Diaries = 16

Come out of the bulkhead and go along this path and you eventually come to a
door break the lock and go through it and you will be in a beautiful garden
which is called Arcadia, if you go to the right of the pillar in the middle
and light the other torch with your incinerate it will unlock and search
inside for goodies. Then follow the path until you come up to a little wooden
bridge go over it and turn to your left until you come up to a Audio Diary
[Seeing Ghosts] and there is also a research camera and film, go through the
sliding door and there are two Audio Diaries [Big Night Out] and
[Mass Producing Adam]. Go through the other sliding door and you will hear
someone shouting help follow him and he will take you upstairs were you find
out that he is a Houdini Splicer tough foe but can be defeated. When sorted go
through the doors here before you do that on your left is a crawling space go
through and check it out and also there is an Audio Dairy [Arcadia Closed],
follow this path and kill any Splicers on the way especially in the doorway
across from your right and up a bit.

In the next room there a turret, zap it and hack it then take care of all of
the Splicers opposite the Vending Machine is a crawl space go through it and
go through the other one and you will be in a room with electro darts crawl
under them and the area where the dead body is don’t worry about the Splicer
he commits suicide. Go back through where you came from and go down the
stairs, and make your way to the Arcadia Glens on the way kill any Splicers,
in the next area there is Big Daddy and Little Sister scenarios do what you
have to and move on. If you want to use the U-Invent it is on your right
search area and move on to the next area, before you move on go into the
Waterfall Grotto and follow the path around until you see an Audio Diary
[The Market is Patient] on a bench if you carry on and zap and hack all the
turrets and kill any Splicers and Security Camera there are two more Audio
Dairies [Early Tests Promising], [Offer a Better Product]. Also if you go to
the door with the broken door control zap it and in there is another Audio
Dairy [Heroes and Criminals] now make your way to Rolling Hills as you do this
there are some steps leading down to another part of Arcadia Glens. Down here
there is a crawl space on the same wall that the door is on and room a bit
further on with some goodies.

Now make you way to Rolling Hills and go through the door in this area is a
Big Daddy and Little Sister deal with them, if you want you could use the RPG
turret against them to make it a bit easier for you. When that is done and
finished there is bench near the stairs and on is an Audio Dairy
[Shouldn't Have Come] go down the stairs and go towards the Rapture Metro, as
you do this a gas is released into the atmosphere and it starts to kill the
trees you are then told by Atlas to go and find Professor Langford so on your
left is Professor Holden Langford Research Laboratories so head there. When
you get there she asks you to get a rare rose, on your way to get this rose
there will be cave in front of you before you go up the stairs, go in and on
the floor of the entrance is an Audio Diary [The Saturnine] go up the stairs
and make you back to Waterfall Ghetto on the way is another cave search it and
carry on with your destination, on the way back go through Tree Farm resting
on the side of the crate is an Audio Dairy [Arcadia and Oxygen] when you have
the rose take it back Langford and she will let you in the corner behind the
desk is an Audio Diary [What Won't They Steal] and o the table next door is
another Audio Diary [Teaching an Old Hound] go to Langford’s office and you
will hear Andrew Ryan’s voice and then he fills the room with a type of gas
that kills her, once the room is cleared of that gas you can go in to search
her office the code on the window is for her safe 9457 and if you search her
body you will get an Audio Diary [Lazarus Vector] in the safe is also a Audio
Diary [Lazarus Vector Formula] now make your way back to Tree Farm again, on
you way to end the level is a power to the people which is on your left when
you go up the stairs in Tree Farm and there is another Audio Diary
[Maternal Instinct].

10.7)Farmers Market                                                 [YKC.123]

When you start this level there is an Audio Diary [Bee Enzyme] right in front
of you and go through the door and turn to your right and zap and hack the RPG
turret there and kill the Houdini Splicer, go down the stairs here and search
everywhere because there is room with a combo lock on and also a room with two
Audio Diaries [First Encounter] and [Hatred] make your way back up stairs on
your way turn left at the door and go through it and there is a crawl space
opposite you go through that as well, in here is a Audio Diary
[Desperate Times]. Head towards the meat counter because there is also another
Audio Diary [Pulling Together]. When you go in the next area there is a Big
Daddy in their do your usual and carry on through the door and make your way
to Worley Winery, and in front of that door is an Audio Diary [Water in Wine]
go to your left into Silver wing on the desk in front of you is an Audio Diary
[Adam Explained] go through the door behind.

In here all you have to do is search the hives until you have enough enzymes
each time you time runs out a load of Splicers come and attack you, when you
are done head over to Worley Winery and search this area for Distilled water.
On one of the tables is an Audio Diary [Functional Children] zap and hack the
turret and security camera and safe, then go down stairs search everywhere
because somewhere there is a Power To The People Machine here and go to a
U-Invent to make the Lazarus Vector. Now make your way back to Arcadia.

10.8)Arcadia Part 2                                                  [YKC.124]

Basically all you have to do on this level is go back to Professor Langford's
Laboratory with the Lazarus Vector and put it in then Central Misting Control,
when you do this Atlas will ask you to lock down the Lab because Ryan has sent
a load of his Splicers after you. So go back to the main entrance and pull the
switch there that is next to the desk, then basically all you have to do is
fend of the Splicers until the Central Misting Control is ready. When it is
done Atlas will tell you to throw the switch, so make you back to the office
and press the switch and it will clear the air for you. Now make your way to
the Metro Station on the way by one of the bench in there is an Audio Diary
[The Great Chain], make your way to the bathysphere and on to Fort Frolic.

10.9)Fort Frolic                                                     [YKC.125]

When you start this level make your way out of the bathysphere and make your
way into Fort Frolic you also find out a person called Sander Cohen, make your
way to the other end and go through the door and head towards the bathysphere.
As you approach it the door will close and disappears into the water then
Sander Cohen talks to you, now make your way back out of this area and your
path is blocked, when you make a move to your left you get attacked by a load
of Spider Splicers kill them all and Sander Cohen will open the door to Fleet
Hall for you.

When you enter Fleet Hall make your way up the stairs pick up the Audio Dairy
[Stood Up Again] and go into Fleet Hall Theater, go up the steps in front and
go down another in front of you is a Security Camera zap and Hack it, then
turn to your right and go up these flights of stairs in the Projection Room
and pick up the Audio Dairy [Musical Insult] near the entrance. Now go back
downstairs and make your way to the elevator on the wall is a button push it.
Go up in the lift and make your way into the theater and watch what happens.

After the cut scene take a picture of the body and go back down the stairs and
on the way zap and hack two turrets, and eventually you end up in Atrium place
the picture in Cohen’s Masterpiece and you will get your final weapon the
Crossbow and make your way down to Poseidon Plaza look for Martin Finnegan and
kill him. When that is done take it Cohen’s Masterpiece and you get a gift, as
you come back to Atrium the is a Big Daddy and Little Sister here so do the
usual and in the south hall there is an Audio Diary [Come to the Record Store]
and in the Cocktail Lounge [Artist's Feud] Sophia Salon [The Wild Bunny]
Le Marquis D'Epogue [Fancy Cigarettes] and down here is a Power To The People
machine.

Go to Cohen’s Collection and on the table here is an Audio Diary [The
Doubters] after this go back to the Poseidon Plaza and unfreeze the door
opposite you and continue into Poseidon Plaza and deal with the two Big
Daddies and their Little Sisters then go into Sir-Prize and collect the Audio
Diary [Fontaine’s Army]. Go into Rapture’s Record Shop and behind the counter
to your left when you enter is an Audio Diary [Ryan's Stable boy] this is
where you meet Cobb the next victim for Cohen's Masterpiece find him and kill
him take his picture and take it to the quadtych in the Atrium.

Go back to Poseidon Plaza and look for Rodriguez but first of all go to
Pharaoh's Fortune and go upstairs and pick up the Audio Dairy [Bump Culpepper]
on the pool table and now make your way to Eve’s Garden and watch the ghost
scene on the stage and also behind the stage, pick up the Audio Diary
[Pregnancy] and also in Robertson's Tobacco [Guns Blazing] go back into Eve's
Garden and on the bar counter is another Audio Diary [It’s All Gift] and then
go back down to the Atrium and put the picture on Cohens Masterpiece.

After you done that you see Cohen walk down the stairs and he has a chat with
you but don't kill him yet if you kill him now you will not be able to access
his apartment in Olympus Heights and the Power To The People machine but it is
totally up to you either kill him now or later. Now if you go back upstairs to
where you got the second Audio Diary in the Projector room you can now go into
then next room and pick up the Audio Dairy and make your way back the
bathysphere and the end of the level.

10.10)Hephaestus                                                     [YKC.126]

Little Sister's Locations = 3

Leave the bathysphere and make your way up the stars and through the door
follow this tunnel until you come to a T-junction. Either go left or right
it’s up to you it doesn’t really matter you end up in the same place, and down
this part and go through the door down the slope and through the door here.
Turn to your left and on your right is a turret zap and hack it then on your
left in the corner is a Vending machine next to it in the storage crate is a
Audio Diary [Ryan Takes F Futuristics] in the next room there is another Audio
Diary [Scoping the Gate] next the to Vita Chamber. Eventually you end up in a
room with a load of corpses search them all because there are two Audio
Diaries [Stopping Ryan] and [Going to Heat Loss] when you get this the last
Audio Dairy it will automatically start to play and if you go into the room on
the right side wall there is a Audio Dairy [A Man or a Parasite] collect it
and then you will get attacked by some Splicers which come through the door
which was locked go through it.

You will enter a flooded room with a corpse of a Big daddy and three Splices
kill them and then go through the door at the other end and walk along this
tunnel and go through the door at the end, go through the door on your left.
In this room there is a Splicer kill him and at the end opposite the Vita
Chamber there is a Audio Diary [Fontaine's Legacy], now go down the stairs and
right in front of you is a Little Sister and a Bouncer do your usual thing and
make your way along here. When you go up the stairs on your right is a Power
To The People machine and your left next the Gatherer’s Garden is a Audio
Diary [Assassin] and make your way down some more stairs and keep going and
eventually you come to a desk with a Audio Diary [Impossible Anywhere Else] on
it, make your back up and go through the door on your right which says Heat
Lost Monitoring and go along this tunnel and through the door, as you go down
this room the light will keep going out and back on again and you will find
out why because as you reach the other door three Splicers will attack you.
When you are finished her go through the door and turn to your right and
follow this path until you see a Audio Diary [Kyburz Door Code] on the other
side is a Vending Machine use it if you need to then go down the stairs and
through the door. Make your way down the stairs and you will see a Bouncer and
a Little Sister do your usual and make your way to your left until you see a
Ghost scene and then disable the electric current and go down the stairs up to
the desk in the left corner. On the desk is an Audio Diary [Genetic Arms Race]
there is another Bouncer and Little Sisters scenario then check the desk for
an Audio Diary [Getting A Break] and a Tonic [Security Evasion].

Make your way back you way back up the stairs, back the other stairs and back
along the tunnel and keep going the way the that you got here and go through
the to the Workshops before you do this pick up the Audio Diary [Running Short
on R-34s] opposite the door. To your right is a turret and a safe and to your
left is a Vending machine. Go down stairs and in the room in front of you
there is a Audio Dairy [Device Almost Finished], follow this path and
eventually you come up to a crawl space go through it and you are in Kyburz
office and on the desk to your right is a Tonic [Damage Research] and another
Audio Diary [Assembling The Bomb]. Now you have to assembly the EMP bomb and
you have to find four R34’s wires from the Big Daddies and also the Quarter
Can of Tonic Gel, if you go up to the office door where the two turrets are
destroy them put in the code [0126] and go in, on the desk there is a Audio
Diary [Great Chain Moves Slowly] and there is a switch press it and then go
over and pick up the Nitroglycerin. When you do this a turret comes up and
attacks you zap it and hack it. On the other wall is Power To The People
machine, e office slightly ahead of you and to your right is a crawl
space go through and pick up the Audio Diary [Market Maintenance] when you
leave to make your way around until you have all of the bits that you need and
then make your way back to the EMP bomb.

Put all of the bits that you found on to the EMP bomb and pick it up and make
your way to the Harmonic Core by going the way that you came here, when you
arrive their you have to redirect the magma flow by turning the wheel between
to the two turrets but before that zap and hack the two turrets because while
you are doing this Ryan sends a load of his Splicers at you, when you turned
the valve as far as you can you are told by Atlas to make your way to the
Core. Take one of the lifts and go down to the room below and go along this
pathway on the way you see another tonic [Shorten Alarms]. Go through the door
here and use the lift to reach the point where you have to put the EMP bomb.
Place it and you have succeeded in overloading the Core, now make your way
back to Andrew Ryan’s office and to end the level.

10.11)Rapture Control                                                [YKC.127]

Little Sisters Locations = 0
Power To The People = 0

Leave the bulkhead and make your way to Andrew Ryan as you go through to the
next room you hear what Andrew Ryan has to say and then Atlas tells you that
Andrew Ryan has set the core to self-destruct. In the corner of this corner is
an Audio Diary [The Vita Chamber], then make your way to the door that leads
to Admin Office but it us locked so go back and take the stairs on your right
and keep going up and you will find a crawl space go through and you will be
in a room. When you look at the wall you see a load of pictures and at this
point you find out where you really were born and that Andrew Ryan is really
your father, take the two Audio Diaries [Mind Control Test] and [Baby Status]
here. Go through the door and watch the cut scene after the cut scene pick up
Ryan’s genetic key put it in the self-destruct machine. Then you find out who
Atlas really is and he is Frank Frantaine. Now after the lovely conversation
with Fontaine and the machine finishes loading up you get attack by Security
Bots. As you try and escape these you will get asked by a Little One to follow
her to a crawl space go in and you will pass out and also that ends the level.

10.12)Olympus Heights                                                [YKC.128]

When you wake up you will be in the Orphanage that you were brought up in, and
to your left is Tenenbaum who was one of the people with you when you where
brought up, she tells you that she has manage to remove Fontaine’s control
over you. When you start to move one of the Little Ones asks you to follow her
up the stairs and up a locked door, when it is open go up another flight of
stairs and you will be in an under ground sewer. At this point you will hear
Fontaine say that word "Would you Kindly" and when he relies that it didn’t
work he will tell your brain to slowly make your heart stop beating, at the
end of this tunnel is a big wheel pick it up and put it next to the door and
turn it to open the door and go through it. You are now in a tram station make
you way to the right from here, one thing you will notice on this level is
that the enemy are starting to use tonic attachments on their weapons and they
are starting to get a lot tougher as well, walk along this path and follow it
around to the right and go into the bar area and pick up the Audio Diary
[Mozart of Genetics] on the side. Also there is a Big Daddy and a Little
Sister in this area deal with them and make you way along.

Eventually you will end up in another tram station make you way along here up
the stairs zap and hack the Security camera and follow the path around until
you come up to a tower which was a walkway and a lift on the opposite side is
a Power To The People machine and also on this floor is Sander Cohen Flat go
into it see the two Splicers dancing in the center by the piano kill them and
Sander Cohen will attack you kill him (you can only do this if you let Sander
Cohen live in the Fort Frolic level) as well go up stairs and there is another
Power To The People machine. Now go straight across and you will be in Suchong
apartment, in the room on right down the hallway is a Audio Diary [Fontaine's
Human Jukebox] and in the flooded area is a Tonic [Clever Inventor] and
another Audio Diary [Mind Control Antidote] leave this apartment and go to
A. Culpepper's apartment and pick up the Audio Diary [Artist Woman] in there.
Keep going up till you are on the third level and go along the bridge here and
zap and hack the Security camera and make your way around here until you a
Audio Diary [Fontaine's Breakup] and keep going along here until you reach
Tenenbaum apartment.

You find out that the Lot 192 has been taken so your next stop is Fontaine’s
home. Make your way back down to the ground floor and go to the lift and put
in the code 5744 and take the lift up to the top floor. When you arrive at
Fontaine's home kill any Splicers here and zap and hack the turret and make
way in through the door and turn two your right in the next room is an Audio
Diary [Sad Saps], make your way upstairs and either turn left or right it does
not matter you end up in the same place anyway. In this room there is a tonic
[Electric Flesh 2] and the antidote Lot 192, when you drink this "Code Yellow"
stops but the side effect to it is you sometimes have no control of your
plasmids because they have become unstable. Make your way to the Bulkhead in
Olympus Heights and end the level.

10.13)Apollo Square                                                  [YKC.129]

Little Sister's Locations = 2

Step out of the bulk head and turn to your left and go up the stairs and
through the gates before you do turn to your left and pick up the Audio Diary
[What's Happening Here?] in the suitcase in this area there is a Big Daddy and
a Little Sister do your usual and carry on along this path and you will end up
in a square where there are dead bodies hanging down on my right is another
Audio Diary [Atlas Lives], and make your way back to the square, and then make
your way to the Artemes Suites and follow this path past all the broken down
trams and up the stairs at the end. Before you do that if you wait for a bit a
Big Daddy and a Little Sister comes along deal with them and carry on as I
said, up the stairs and make your way to the free clinic which is up the first
flight of the stairs and once you found it go in and look for the corpse on
the table and opposite that is the other dose of Lot 192.

Now your Plasmids are back to normal control and on the floor near the table
to where the corpse is an Audio Diary [Protection Bond] if you want you go
straight across and past the trams the Metro Station and you will see a ghost
scene and you are now in the Fontaine's Centre for the Poor, search the rooms
because one of them was Atlas/Fontaine’s headquarters and go downstairs and
you will get a tonic [Focused Hacker 2] are two Audio Diaries [The Longest Con
]and [Today’s Raid] and last but not least a Power To The People machine also
on your way out there is an Audio Diary [Meeting Atlas] in a steamer trunk.

Make your way to the Metro Station and go down the stairs here and take the
lift down and go trough the door and into the bathysphere. Now at this point
you can go back to Fort Frolic if you killed Sander Cohen in the Mercury
Suites and not before, make you way back to Cohen’s Masterpiece and unlock the
padlock and search Cohen's Music Box. Right now make you way to Point
Prometheus.

10.14)Point Prometheus                                               [YKC.130]

Little Sister's Locations = 3

Now head out of the bathysphere and make your way upstairs and pursue after
Frank Fontaine keep following him until Tenenbaum and yourself see him
disappear, now search the Big Daddy that is over in the corner glowing yellow
search him and you will get the Suit Control Switch. Congratulation you have
completed the first step to becoming a Big Daddy, next to the corpse is a
Power To The People machine now make your way through one of the doors towards
the Little Wonders Educational Facility and go along the corridor and the
tunnel. Now when you get in this room be careful because there are two gun
turrets shooting at you so what I did was destroyed them both and climbed up
broke the window and crawled through, now also in this room or area is a Big
Daddy and a Little Sister deal with them and go into room five and pick up
your first Big Daddy Pheromone Sample and then go into the Autopsy Room and
zap and hack the Security camera and go in the back room and you will see a
ghost scene pick up your second Big Daddy Pheromone Sample and next to it is a
tonic [Safe cracker 2].

If you want you search the other rooms but there isn’t that much so make your
way up the north stairs to the Main Hall and on your left is two desks, on the
first desk is the third and last Big Daddy Pheromone Sample and on the desk
next to it is an Audio Diary [Why Just Girls?], after you have done this head
towards Optimized Eugenics by going through the double doors which says on the
floor Main Hall and through the tunnel and go through the door here. There is
a turret here zap and hack it and make your way over to Optimized Eugenics and
go through the right decontamination door and the next one. Here is another
Big Daddy and a Little Sister deal with them and make your way to the Live
Testing Room.

Hack the camera here and enter the room on your right and make your way to the
stairs go up them and go through the door and right in front of you is the
Voice box Modification Machine, search the floor and go into Eugenic Analysis
and zap and hack the two turrets and on the wall left hand side is a Power To
The People machine and then go into the Live Testing Storage room you get an
Audio Diary [Marketing Gold] and in Plasmid Prototyping is another Audio Diary
[Extra Munitions].

When you are done here make your way to Fail-safe Armoured Escorts and go
through the left decontamination room and go into the Candidate Induction
room, at the back of the room is a tonic [Hackers Delight 3] and pick up the
Rosie Helmet shame it can’t be a Bouncer one and go through the door near the
flooded area and you will be in a room where the bodysuits pick one up are.
Then go upstairs and in this room is an Audio Diary [Protecting Little Ones]
and go through the door here and keep going along here until you find another
Audio Diary [Mistakes] on your right next to the Gene Bank. Keep moving here
until you are in another room here is another Audio Diary [Protector Smell] if
you go down these stairs you will end up in the room where the boots are but
they are not here you also pick up an Audio Dairy [Missing Boots], if you go
through the door and in front of you and go straight through this room and
when you enter the next room turn left and melt the ice blocking the door here
and pick up any goodies in here as well as an Audio Diary
[Cheap Son of a Bitch].

Make your way back to the Main Hall and the Vending machine near the entrance
of Optimized Eugenics is a door, which has ice blocking it, melt it and search
the Trash can for an Audio Diary [Changing Employers], now make your way to
the Mendel Memorial Research Library go towards the back hack the turret on
your way. You will reach a desk and on the desk is a tonic [Damage Research 2]
and the missing boots, now make your way back to where Fontaine disappeared
and knock on the Little Sister vent and a Little Sister will come out of it
and she will open the door and thus ends the level.

10.15)Proving Grounds                                                [YKC.131]

Little Sister's Locations = 0

A brief explanation of this level is to make sure that the Little One is
protected by at all times she will take you to Fontaine so all you have to
worry about is that she does not die. In the corner of your screen is a yellow
bar that is the Little Sister health bar if runs out she dies. In the event of
losing your Little Sister you can you go up to a Little sister vent and knock
for another one.

Now when the game loads up walk out of the bulkhead and walk up the stairs in
front of you then another flight of steps that go up and you come to a door.
The Little Sister will crawl through and open it for you then turn to your
left and the same thing will happen follow this path until she sees a dead
body When this happens she bend down and start to extract the Adam from their
bodies, all you have to do is keep the Splicers away from her after a few
stabs she will get up and start to move again. Follow her and keep going along
this path and she will stop at another body do the same thing as last time.

Now again follow her and attack and hack the flame thrower and do the same
with the gun turret, you will come up to another door just like last time let
her go through and she will open it for you and just keep walking along with
her. Eventually she will stop at another body do the same thing here as before,
when you get to the corner here you get charge at by a Bouncer kill it and
then you come up to another one of those doors. Carry on until the Little
Sister goes into a vent and Tenenbaum asks you to take the syringe from the
Little Sister, now you are nearly at the end of the level, there are two
vending machines stock up on ammo and health as well eve because you just
about to face the final boss which is Fontaine.

10.16)Fontaine                                                       [YKC.132]

Power To The People = 0
Little Sister's Locations = 0

This level is pretty easy all you have to do is kill Fontaine the downside is
that he has used a whole load of Adam, which means he very strong also he has
three attacks Fireballs which travel at you and can burn a bit longer than
Incinerate, Ice Blast which is an attack that shoots up from the ground and
runs along the ground to you which, in turns freezes you a bit longer than
winter blast, the next attack and the final one is the Plasma Shot which means
Fontaine can shoot balls of Plasma at you. Also while you are fighting
Fontaine Security Bots and Splicers also attack you.

When the lift reaches the top you will see the Adam inducer and Fontaine
hooked up to it while he is there take a look around see where all the health
stations are and the Bot shutdowns posts. Also there are crates with money in
them so if you do run out of money just search the crates and collect the
money. Each time Fontaine physically weakened he will run back to the machine
and start to induce himself with more Adam, when he does this run up with the
needle that the Little Sister gave you and stab him with it. Do this four
times before he returns to battle, you can also use your plasmid against him
if you want but I personally used my weapons to defeat him and just keep
dodging his attacks.

Eventually he gets weakened enough for a whole load of Little Ones to rush up
to him and stab him to death with their needles. That's it you have
successfully killed Fontaine and completed Bioshock, enjoy the end scene as it
depends on how you treated the Little Sisters like did you Rescue them or did
you Harvest them.

In this section I will describing where the Audio Diary is how many, and also
what is said when you play the Audio Diary.

11.1)Welcome to Rapture {2}                                          [YKC.134]

You must get these before you carry on because you cant get these later on.

1. Diane McClintock {New Year's Eve Alone}
[Kashmir Bottom Floor on top of table]

Another New Year's, another night alone. I'm out, and you're stuck in
Hephaestus, working. Imagine my surprise. I guess I'll have another drink...
here's a toast to Diane McClintock, silliest girl in Rapture. Silly enough to
fall in love with Andrew Ryan, silly enough to- [sound of a raid and people
screaming] What... what happened... I'm bleeding... oh, god... what's
happening...

2. Steve Barker {Hole in the Bathroom Wall}
[Kashmir Restaurant in the "Dames" bathroom]

Hey, Brenda- You care to tell me why you've had a hole in the wall the size of
Plymouth Rock coming out of your crapper going on three weeks now? Now, I
ain't saying I'm Shakespeare, but I'm trying to run a respectable theater. I
got working folk coming in from Port Neptunetrying to catch a little diversion
.. and all they can think about is the stink coming out your shitter.
Get it fixed.

11.2)Medical Pavilion {17}                                           [YKC.135]

3. Diane McClintock {Released Today}

Dr. Steinman said he'd release me today. Ryan didn't come to see me since the
New Year's attack. Not once. But Dr. Steinman was very attentive. He told me
that once the scar tissue was gone, he was going to fix me right up. Make me
prettier than any girl I've ever seen. He's sweet all right... and so
interested in my case!

4. Steinman {Adam's Changes}

Ryan and Adam, Adam and Ryan... all those years of study, and was I ever truly
a surgeon       before I met them? How we plinked away with our scalpels and toy
morality. Yes, we could lop a boil here, and shave down a beak there, but...
but could we really change anything? No. But Adam gives us the means to do it.
And Ryan frees us from the phony ethics that held us back. Change your look,
change your sex, change your race. It's yours to change, nobody else's.

5. Steinman {Higher Standards}

Adam presents new problems for the professional. As your tools improve, so do
your standards. There was a time, I was happy enough to take off a wart or
two, or turn a real circus freak into something you can show in the daylight.
But that was then, when we took what we got, but with Adam... the flesh
becomes clay. What excuse do we have not to sculpt, and sculpt, and sculpt,
until the job is done?

6. Andrew Ryan {Parasite Expectations}

On the surface, the Parasite expects the doctor to heal them for free, the
farmer to feed them out of charity. How little they differ from the pervert
who prowls the streets, looking for a victim he can ravish for his grotesque
amusement.

8. Steinman {Limits of Imagination}

I am beautiful, yes. Look at me, what could I do to make my features finer?
With Adam and my scalpel, I have been transformed. But is there not something
better? What if now it is not my skill that fails me... but my imagination?

citizen of Rapture that free enterprise is the foundation upon which our

10. Steinman {Surgery's Picasso}

When Picasso became bored of painting people, he started representing
them as cubes and other abstract forms. The world called him a genius! I've
spent my entire surgical career creating the same tired shapes, over and over
again: the upturned nose, the cleft chin, the ample bosom. Wouldn't it be
wonderful if I could do with a knife what that old Spaniard did with a brush?

11. McDonagh {Freezing Pipes}

Steinman, I know Medical Pavilion is your manor, but you might want to
cogitate on this: ocean water is colder than a witch's tit. You don't heat the
pipes, the pipes freeze. Pipes freeze, pipes burst. Then Rapture leaks. Now, I
realize you're a posh sort of geezer, and, frankly, I don't give a toss if you
piss or go fishing. But once Rapture starts leaking, the old girl's never
gonna stop. And then I'll be sure to tell Ryan he's got you to thank.

12. Suchong {Testing Telekinesis}
[Dandy Dental on the floor by Gatherer's Garden]

Clinical Trial Lot 23 Dr. Suchong/Client Fontaine Futuristics. Work on
telekinesis plasmid proceeding well. Lifting objects at distance present no
problem. Moving objects through space, no problem. Cannot stop speeding
bullet, but can catch and throw fast moving object. Problem not with plasmid.
Problem with reaction time. ...Suchong just get new idea for plasmid.

13. Tenenbaum {Useless Experiments}

At the German prison camp they put me to work on genetic experiments on other

we're not gonna build no bathtub... we're gonna build Eden.

As the respectable labs have all turned me away, I have turned to Fontaine's

wouldn't surprise me if he were soon running things down here.

He's like one-a us, you know, like he's worked a day in his life. He says meet
him at his fish-packing joint at 11. I'll go, bring a couple of guys. Hey,
it's not like things could get a lot worse.

Spent the morning jawing with that Kraut scientist. She's damaged goods, all
right. Just like all those chumps they scraped out of them prison camps. But

ball rolling... and a friend to watch her back.

into a luxury. Ryan asked 'Should a farmer not be able to sell his food?' 'Is
a potter not entitles to a profit from his pots?' I started to argue with the
man and then I remembered who signed my checks. Only thing worse than a
hypocrite is an unemployed one.

What a night I got lined up. Everything's ready. Flowers, bottle of wine, even
two tickets to the Tea Garden. Nothing gets the betties inthe mood like

med hypo, just to be safe. Word is this ain't Angelina's first visit
to the Tea Garden...

all over the place, and Cohen flutters around clearing it up. But instead of
using a shovel, like you would with a proper mule, Cohen fidies with a catchy
melody and a clever turn of phrase. But no matter how nicely it sounds, he
can't really do anything about the smell...

bloody Wayne? We can get on top of this. We can. Here's what we do: we find
Fontaine's will and make what was his go to where it was intended - and not
into the pockets of us that put 'im into the ground.

says. I've resigned from the council and lodged me letter of protest, but
that's just pissing in the wind. It'll be war, I say... unless somebody stops
Ryan and right fast.

I spent the afternoon trying to get as close to Ryan's gate as possible
without making a spectacle of myself... He's got it shielded six ways till
Easter. There's no way into that place. All I got for my trouble was the hairy
eyeball from Ryan's splicer mates. That's the reward you get for trying to
outsmart the best electrical engineer of our generation.

#3! Piece of cake for an electrical engineer. Too bad I design lady's shoes.

can shake out of their trees.

Janey Citizen are lined up round the block for plasmids... anything to help
fend off the rabble.

Me. An assassin... that's rich. I could have gone along, I suppose. Spliced

in power. And now this place is busto. And my girl is... gone... worse than
gone... one of those... things. So am I an assassin? ...Well, only one way to
find out.

Do you guys have any idea there's a war on? If you don't follow proper
maintenance on those Big Daddys, they burn through those R-34s like them Eve's

non-stop, and two dead mechanics just this week, we need to control costs. If
I wanted to deal with amateurs, I would have stayed on dry land.

free from the clutching hand of the Parasites? Where else could we build an

Let me tell you something about Kyburz and all them university types...
they're so smart, except when they ain't. I put a couple of drinks in him last

office keyed to the date of Australia Day. Nows every weeks, I slip in real
gentle and nick a buck or two from the till. The Aussie never notices, and I
ain't about to tell him. Seems like there's all kind of crazy stuff back
there. Maybe... maybe one day I'll get more ambitious.

I didn't recognize the twist that come into the shop today... Stacked like
Sally and dressed to the nines. She's play her cards pretty close to the

but she look wise. After she showed me 'round her backyard, I gave her
directions to Kyburz' tool shop. Rapture's gone to hell, but sometimes the
Great Chain still cuts you a break.

I begged Mr. Ryan to hand Fontaine Futuristics over to Atlas' boys as a peace

here in Rapture, but it's not about who can build the best guns and the
biggest bombs. It's about who can become less of a man and more of a monster...

Ryan's Splicers are dragging the young woman off right now. I'm certain she's
one of Ryan's spies, sent to feel me out... I think she is... if I'm wrong, an

best be right. The device is almost finished. I can't get soft now, I can't!

Is there blood in the streets? Of course. Have some chosen to destroy
themselves with careless splicing? Undeniable. But I will make no

And once you've invited it in, it will never stop feeding on the body of the

What a barmy dream... some kind of fruit tree, spinning like a top, and it was
pouring juice down Ryan's throat, choking the bastard. But it wasn't a tree,
really, when I looked closer, it was the core control, the gizmo that feeds
the mag locks on Ryan's gate. You can't cut off the power, comes right from
the volcanic vents... Ryan always gets his juice. But I suppose you could
drown the son of a bitch in it...

97. Kyburz {Assembling the Bomb}

tonic]

The basic casing is ready, I've got one charge of nitroglycerin in my office,
that will serve as a catalyst. Now I need four R-34 lead shield wire stubs to
pass the circuit. Then a half-can of Ionic Gel-that's the pretty Betty of the
mix. Should send the core into compensation mode, push power down the line and
trigger the circuit breaker on Ryan's gate. That's the theory. It'll either
work like a charm, or blow up half of Rapture. Nothing ventured...

I tracked the problem that was blocking the tubes here, and you'll never
believe where I ended up... the damn Farmer's Market, clear on the other end
of Rapture. I fixed it right up and installed some new gaskets... oof, what a
mess. Anyway, the code is 0512 if you ever need to get back in there to do
maintenance.

entanglement that, and then poof, dead people come back to life. Bullshit! Of
course, Ryan will only allow it to be tunes to his genetic frequencies for the
testing...

seems to wear the same mustard-stained jumper day after day. But I've got to
hand it to Frank: Tenenbaum is the all-time diamond in the rough. No formal
training, no experience... but put her in front of a gene sequence, and she's
Mozart at the harpsichord.

103. Suchong {Fontaine's Human Jukebox}

All those years we thought we were making progress: with our Skinner boxes and
our electric shocks... what a waste of time. Until Adam, you could no more
domesticate a child than a boa constrictor... Fontaine gives Suchong history
for child that he wants to imprint into child head. Kid not a person, he
jukebox, ready to play whatever tune Fontaine wants to hear.

104 Suchong {Mind Control Antidote}

Fontaine's become some kind of boogeyman in Rapture, that myth gives him
power. But peel back flim-flam and the humbug, he's just another con man. And
like all con men, he worries he'll end up on the wrong side of grift. That's
why he commissioned Lot 192 - the antidote to the mental control plasmid.
Fontaine said I better not tell anybody about the antidote, not even
Tenenbaum. And Suchong is inclined to listen.

When it was done with Culpepper, I left her as she was in the bathroom. I seen
she had a blanket half-knitted by her bed. It was nice, you know, black and red,
real pretty. So I took it, so I could, you know, have somebody finish it. So it
could be of use to someone. It just didn't seem right to leave it lying there,
lying there all by itself.

Looks like things have gone busto between Fontaine and his little German

double-sure that beanpole don't sprout up in his yard again...

Andrew Ryan was a great man. I was a fool.

We went on a raid outside the wire today. We snagged 31 rounds of buckshot, 4

got one of those goddamn Big Daddies in the bargain, though. It was something
awful what they had to do to that little girl to get the Adam, but we didn't
start this thing. Ryan did. I can't wait to tell Atlas. He'll be so pleased...

I know why it has to be children, but why just girls? This I cannot determine
why, but I know it is so. Fontaine says 'ah, one less bathroom to build in the
orphanage'. It is amazing to watch the effect of Adam on their small bodies.
Their own cells, replaced by the new stems the instant they are damaged. These
children are practically invulnerable. It is a shame you could not do the same
thing to an adult. There would be quite a market for a man you could not kill.

I'll admit Fontaine showed some foresight when he built up the plasmid
business, but the man really never understood sales. Hiding those little girls

plasmid machines, and they're exactly what I wanted. Mark my words-presented
property, those little sisters are marketing gold.

Ryan sent over extra munitions. He must've suspected trouble. I've locked them
up near the Protector Labs and set the code to 1921. I don't expect we'll ever
be needing them though. Once Big Daddy is ready, nobody cross the Big Daddy.

War a terrible thing. Japanese kill every man in my city, except for Suchong.
Suchong have opium. Very good opium. This war, terrible thing, too, but not

can make. Good news is war makes lots of corpses. Suchong knows way to recycle
Adam from corpse. But can't send Little Sister out to street unprotected.
Suchong must think on this.

Could I have made mistakes? One does not build cities if one is guided by
doubt. But can one govern in absolute certainty? I know that my beliefs have

convinced by my own beliefs that I have stopped seeing the truth? Perhaps. But
Atlas is out there, and he aims to destroy me, and destroy my city. To
question is to surrender. I will not question.

research camera. Basically the things that are upgraded are damage increase

17.1)Introduction                                                    [YKC.194]

This part of the walkthrough is about the ghost scenes that are viewed in the
whole of Rapture. The reason that I put this in was mainly for a laugh. The
ghost scenes happen automatically and you can tell because the screen changes
colour and goes fuzzy. The ghost scenes are caused by the Plasmids and the
Adam that are in your system.

17.2)Welcome to Rapture                                              [YKC.195]

Location: Kashmir Restaurant
Where: In the Dames Toilets

When you have gone upstairs the second time and killed the Splicer at the top
of the stairs, turn right and go into the girls toilets and you will see the
ghost scene at one of the sinks.

17.3)Medical Pavilion                                                [YKC.196]

Locations: The corridor to Medical Pavilion
Where: By entrance in front of you

Go back to where you started, after throwing the switch and make your way up
the stairs go through the gateway and you will be in a corridor at the end of
this corridor is the ghost scene.

17.4)Neptune's Bounty                                                 [YKC197]

Location: Fontaine's Fisheries Frezzer
Where: Lower floor of the freezer before the hole to the next level

When you go go down the stairs to the lower level of the freezer, go through
the door on your right and it starts as you go near the entrance to Smuggler's
Hideout.

17.6) Arcadia                                                        [YKC.199]

Location: Tea Gardens
Where: The door Arcadia Glens

When you enter Arcadia for the first time, go to your left go over the bridge
and slightly to your left and then you will see the ghost scene outside the
door to the Arcadia Glens.

Location: Tea Gardens
Where: Arcadia Glens

After the first ghost scene, go through the door and move up to the bench in
here. As you do this you will see the rest of the ghost scene there is a Audio
Diary near it.

There are no more ghost scenes in this level.

17.9)Fort Frolic                                                     [YKC.202]

Location: Eve's Garden xxx
Where: Eve's Garden xxx

Go through the Posidon door in Fort Frolic into the next area, and make your
way to the corridor on the left hand corner. Go in and the ghost scene will
start on the stage.

Location: Eve's Garden xxx
Where: The door behind the stage

From where it finished on the stage go up and follow the ghost behind the door
on the stage, and you will see her walking along the corridor into the room at
the end.

17.10)Hephaestus                                                     [YKC.203]

Location: Upper Heat Loss Monitoring
Where: The catwalk near the flooded area with electricity running through it

Make your way to Heat Loss Monitoring and through the doors. Walk along the
corridor and through the doors at the end, go down the stairs and the ghost
scene is on your left.

There are no ghosts scene's in this level

17.12)Olympus Heights                                                [YKC.205]

There are no ghosts scenes in this level

Location: Near the Rapture Metro sign
Where: On the path towards Fontaine's Home for the Poor

Make your way towards Fontaine's Home for the Poor, when you get near the
Rapture Metro Sign on your left, look at the top of it and you will see the
ghost scene.

17.14)Point Prometheus                                               [YKC.207]

Location: Autopsy
Where: Left corner of the room

Go through the doors of the Autopsy. Hack the security camera and make your
way towards the back of this room. When there turn to your left and it is in
the room with the bunk beds.
