[1.1] Game Overview/Intro

Hello! Welcome to my walkthrough/complete guide of Pajama Sam 3: You
Are What You Eat From Your Head To Your Feet (which will be
abbreviated as PS3: YAWYEFYHTYF from now on) for the PC.

PS3: YAWYEFYHTYF is an educational point-and-click adventure game by
Humungous Entertainment and Runecraft for the PC. It is the third in
the Pajama Sam series (a sequel to Pajama Sam: No Need to Hide When
It's Dark Outside and Pajama Sam 2: Thunder and Lightning Aren't So
Frightening). The game stars the titular character, Sam, who is sworn
to help people in the name of justice as his super hero ego, Pajama
Sam.

Another version of the game was eventually released for the
Playstation.

*Note; The Pajama Sam series is known for having the same main
objective and side objectives, but the world and obstacles are
randomly generated each time the game is started over. I will
complete each possibility below.

[2] Pajama Sam 3 Brief Information
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[2.1] Plot

The game begins during the night at Sam’s house. Sam is in the living
room, delivering a heroic monologue as he chows down on a box of Choc
Amok cookies, sending the cookies to their doom in “jail”. Sam has
obviously eaten plenty, as there are boxes littering the living room.
He tears off the box top of the finished box, adding it to the pile
next to him. Sam is saving these box tops so that he can get a Pajama
Man action figure with “titanic elbow thrust”. Reaching for the last
box, Sam hears his mother calling, letting him know that it’s almost
time for dinner. Completely full from all the cookies, Sam realizes
he doesn’t feel well, when suddenly the box growls and rattles.
Looking inside, the cookies leap out of the box, running him down and
heading for the pantry. Sam knows he must stop them as his heroic
alter ego, Pajama Sam.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[2.2] Gameplay

The object of point-and-click adventures is to explore your
surroundings by clicking and interacting with different things in the
background. Using the mouse, you’ll be able to move Sam to different
locations and also interact with things. The cursor will let you know
when you can interact with something by changing to a completely
white cursor. A cursor that forms an arrow lets you know that Sam can
go in that direction. Click the left mouse trigger to interact with
something.

Certain items will become useful on your journey. These items will be
stored in Sam’s inventory, which is activated by moving the cursor
towards the bottom of the screen.

The computer screen in the bottom left corner allows you to save your
current game, load an already saved game, or stop the current game.
It also allows you to change game settings and view the credits. The
game setup mode allows you to decide whether you want the computer to
randomly choose the game’s challenges or if you want to choose them
custom.

The Esc key skips through cutscenes, while the spacebar acts a pause
button.

[4] Box Tops
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[4.1] Box Tops
In order to get the Pajama Man action figure with “Titanic Elbow
Thrust”, Sam has to collect 20 box tops from Choc Amok cookie boxes.
These box tops are scattered throughout the Mop Top Island. Click on
them and they will be added to the collection. To access the box
tops, click the shoe box in the bottom right corner by moving the
cursor around the bottom of the screen.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[4.2] Box Top Locations
Below I’ve listed the locations of all 20 box tops on the island;

Box Top #1 – Below where the signs directing to the Food Pyramid and
the Heart are.

right corner.
Box Top #3 – On a rock at the bottom left in the area with the lake

Box Top #20 - On the bulletin board in the library.

*Note; These are the typical spots to find box tops. Box tops can
also be randomly generated in different spots. I will list the
alternatives below;

*Note; Box tops numbers 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, 17, and 20
are in the same spots.

ABT #1 – On the ceiling in the conference room.
ABT #2 – On one of the veins on the outside of the Heart.
ABT #3 – In a tree to the right of the prize machine, above where the
Balloon Salesman is.
ABT #4 – Behind one of the seats where the comedy sketches are at the
carnival.

By finding all the box tops, you get the Pajama Man action figure
with “Titanic Elbow Thrust”. This does not change your gameplay in
any way.

-
[5] Part 1- Where’s the Cape?
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[5.1] Where’s the Cape?
With those darn cookies on the loose, somebody’s got to stop them!
This looks like a job for…Pajama Sam! But first, you’ll need his
trademark red cape. The various places to check include in the potted
plant beside the chair, the picture frame on the wall, the cupboard
on the table beside the cookie boxes, or the drawer above the
cupboard. Once you’ve found the cape, head out into the hallway to
get to the pantry. Sam peeks in the pantry, following the crumb tail.
Giggles and mumbles are heard inside. As Sam steps further inside the
pantry, the door closes behind him, locking him in the darkness. The
sounds of laughter fill the darkness, and suddenly Sam is being taken
away through the dark by the source.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[6] Part 2- S.S.A.M.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[6.1] S.S.A.M.
Sam lands on top of a large cake and into a bizarre party held by a
group of junk food. He’s wound up in a place called “Mop Top Island”.
The sign says “Welcome S.S.A.M.” which stands for “Snacks and Sweets
Aggressive Majority”. You can talk to and dance with the various
partygoers and also eat the snacks set out on the table. This is
indeed a great party, but we’re going to have to get a move on. Click
on the cake when you’re ready to leave the party. Sam will devour the
entire cake, freeing the exit. Click on the doors. Sam will explain
that the party was great, but he should really get home, as he
doesn’t want to spoil his dinner. The music will pause and all the
partygoers will stare at Sam. He’ll then add that his mom made all
that broccoli, further disgusting the partygoers. They’ll declare Sam
a traitor to their cause and have him locked up in jail. Sam will be
thrown in jail until his trial next month. However, our hero doesn’t
have that kind of time. Looking around, you’ll see that the key was
placed on the hook across from the cell. Sitting on the padded floor
are bon-bons, while a piece of broccoli with a straw hat and bow sits
on the cot. She’s most likely locked up for being a healthy food.
Talk to her. She’ll explain that she’s a political prisoner of the
fats and sweets. Sam will say he was thrown in for not wanting to
spoil his dinner. She says that the sweets don’t always get along
with other foods, to which Sam adds that he’s not a food. Click on
the bon-bons in the corner and Sam will add one to his inventory.
Select the bon-bon from the inventory and click on the hook where the
key is. Sam will throw the bon-bon, knocking the key to the ground.
However, it’s still out of reach. Notice the cell bars are made of
candy canes and the bar on the lower left still has a hook. Click on
it and Sam will break it off, adding it to his inventory. Select the
candy cane and click on the key on the floor. Sam will drag the key
to the cell using the cane. With the key added to your inventory,
select it and click on the lock. Sam will unlock the cell, freeing
himself and the broccoli. Leaping up, she’ll say she didn’t catch
Sam’s name, to which he introduces himself as Pajama Sam. She
introduces herself as Florette and says they should escape while they
can before the sweets get back. Sam and Florette will escape to a
fork in the road. They duck down behind some bushes after seeing a
group of Sweet Troops marching. Florette says she has to get to the
Food Pyramid as quickly as possible in order to make it to the Peace
Conference. Thanking Sam for freeing her, Florette kisses him on the
cheek and hurries towards the Food Pyramid up ahead.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[7] Part 3- To the Food Pyramid!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[7.1] To the Food Pyramid!
Now that you’re out of jail, you’re now free to explore the world of
Mop Top Island (Fun fact: If you look at the map of the Island,
you’ll notice it slightly resembles Sam)! In the top right direction
is the Food Pyramid. This is the only way we can go for now, so head
that way. Once you come to the front of the Food Pyramid, click the
doors to enter. When you enter, you’ll see a carrot go by and go into
another room. Follow him into the room on the left. Sam will
automatically speak to Carrot, a friend of his from the first Pajama
Sam. Carrot is glad to see Sam due to the trouble occurring on Mop
Top Island. Basically, he explains about the different food groups on
Mop Top and how the fats and sweets have taken over, due to their
larger numbers. They’re causing problems for the other food groups
and General Beetfoot wants to declare war against them. Carrot
further elaborates his plan of a “peace conference”, in which one
delegate from each food group should attend, so that the food groups
may come to some sort of compromise and prevent a war from breaking
out. Unfortunately, only 2 of the 6 delegates have arrived. Before
you leave, Carrot has decided to try and stall the General as much as
he can, asking for Sam’s help to bring the other delegates to the
conference. Pajama Sam is on the case! However, Sam has no clue what
these delegates look like. Luckily, Carrot lets you know that the
delegates wear straw hats so that they may be identified, as well as
giving you a checklist with their pictures on it. The remaining
delegates include Chuck Cheddar, Bean Number 47, Granny Smythe, and
Pierre Le Pain. Hurry now, before the General calls on a war! Return
to the main lobby of the building. To the right is the Food Pyramid’s
Library, and to the north of the doors is the elevator that leads to
the conference room. You can talk to Florette and Luke Wigglebig, if
you want, but there are more important matters to attend to. Exit the
building and return to the road. The Sweet Troops have relocated
right now and you’ll no longer have to worry about them. Take that
path on the left and you’ll come to an area split in three different
directions, as well as a huge lake. If you take the path on the left,
you’ll come to a huge pair of binoculars. However, the area is
guarded by two gourds, Taylor and Pierce. If you talk to them or try
to go past them, they won’t let you through. They’re not exactly of
the brightest kind, but they do know a non-gourd when they see one.
Looks like you’ll have to come back later. Return to the lake. You’ll
notice there’s a doughnut hanging on a rope from a tree, similar to a
tire swing. Click on it and Sam will ride it. Suddenly, the doughnut
will come to life, frightening Sam. The doughnut will introduce
herself as Sprinkle while Sam introduces himself, apologizing for not
asking about riding. Sprinkle says it’s okay, as she loves to swing
and wouldn’t be tied to a tree for any other reason. If you talk to
Sprinkle again, Sam will ask about what she likes to do. She’ll
mention that she loved swimming, or rather floating, but she hasn’t
been able to nowadays. Click on the knot holding her to the rope and
Sam will unknot it, freeing her and releasing her into the lake. Talk
to Sprinkle again and she’ll offer you to come in the water. Instead,
Sam asks if she’d be willing to transport him over the water, to
which she accepts. Now that you’re on Sprinkle, head in the direction
of the sign with the heart. It’s time to explore.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[8] Part 4- Enter the Heart and Pierre Le Pain
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[8.1] Enter the Heart and Pierre Le Pain
You and Sprinkle will come to what seems like a dead-end. There is a
canal that leads to the Heart which is in the distance, but the canal
has a dam blocking the water. A dam made of... French fries! Talk to
the egg shell with legs standing on the shore. This is Gulp, who
mistakes you for a French fry. Sam will introduce himself and ask
Gulp if he likes French fries. Gulp replies that he loves them,
especially with [/insert condiment here], and that there’s no
stopping him once they have said sauce on them! His condiment is
picked at random. Head back out to the lake and you’ll see a tree in
the distance. This tree holds different condiments! Click on the
tree. As you approach, use the two arrow buttons at the top to turn
the shelves holding the different sauces. Find the one that Gulp is
asking for and take it. Click the green arrow to exit the tree and
return to Gulp by the dam. Select the sauce from your inventory and
click on the French fries. Sam will start applying the sauce over the
fries, much to Gulp’s pleasure. Delightedly, Gulp chows down on the
French fries, allowing the water to flow through the canal to the
Heart. You’ll come to the Heart. Enter through the posterior vena
cava, which is the canal right in front of you. Inside are three
different ways to go. Enter through the first valve in the top left.
You’ll come to a dock with a sign that says “Welcome to Muscle Beach”
nearby. Head to the right and you’ll come to the carnival. Pierre Le
Pain is in this area. He is either stuck on top of the Ferris wheel
or trapped inside the prize machine. If he’s stuck on the Ferris
Wheel, you’re going to have to get him down by powering it on. If
he’s stuck in the prize machine, you’re going to have to win the high
striker game with the hammer and the bell. Unfortunately, the Ferris
Wheel is not working at the moment and Sam is too weak to win the
game. However, click the wooden hammer, as you’ll need it later. Now,
walk towards the left to where the sign with the bone is pointing. A
comedy show appears to be going on. The banana comedian on stage
seems to be having trouble with his cue cards, as none of the
audience thinks he’s funny. One of the audience members throws a
pumpkin at him; the banana runs off stage into his bone-shaped
trailer and returns wearing clown shoes, attempting to make the
audience laugh with visual humor. The audience find the shoes funny,
as long as he doesn’t tell any jokes. The banana introduces Tom
Rutabaga, “The Knock-Knock King”, and then returns to his trailer,
defeated. Tom offers a big hand to Mickey Hollandaise, receiving a
quiet audience. He then rephrases and mentions Mickey Hollandaise’s
shoes, finally receiving an applaud. Tom goes on with telling his
jokes, which make much more sense than Mickey’s. Head into Mickey’s
trailer and talk to him. Mickey seems to be having trouble telling
jokes, which isn’t very good for his job as professional. Notice the
pumpkin in the trash can. That will come in handy later, so click on
it. Mickey will allow you to take it. Go back to the carnival and
head up the stairs near the Ferris wheel. You’ll come to the beach
where three cupcakes (known as Dot, Star, and Cherry), and three
muffins (known as Bran, Corn, and Wheat) are sunbathing and sketching
respectively. In order to get the Ferris wheel working, you have to
get the muffins to go back to working out, as their machinery powers
the ride. However, they’re busy sketching the cupcakes for their art
class. The only way the cupcakes would ever leave the beach is if
their sun were to be obscured. In both instances, you’ll need the
Ferris wheel to save Pierre. You’ll have to come back later. Get back
to Sprinkle and return to the inside of the Heart.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[9] Part 5- Beans on Strike!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[9.1] Beans on Strike!
Once back inside the Heart, take the valve on the top right and
you’ll reach the Foothills. Head down the path and you’ll come to a
small cottage with a sign that says “Garniche”. This cottage is owned
by twin sisters Selina and Selma Celery. They’ll be helpful to you
later. Continue down the path. You’ll come to the construction site
of the Kidney Beans and the Jelly Beans. It appears that the two
groups are on strike and construction has stopped. Unfortunately,
this means that Bean Number 47 is trapped up on the piping. The other
instance would involve Bean Number 47 being sorted through the Bean
Sorting Machine. However, if the bean groups are on strike, you’re
going to have to get them to work together again in order to save the
delegate. Go into the trailer at the top right to see the Bean
Foreman. Talk to him and he’ll explain that he doesn’t know why the
beans have gone on strike and they’ve been demanding crazy things of
him. Go back outside and speak with both groups. It sounds like both
sides feel the others are arrogant and obnoxious. Return to the Bean
Foreman’s trailer and click the stack of papers on his desk. He’ll
say that Kidney Beans are demanding an expanded bathroom capacity,
but the Foreman has no idea about the figures of the beans. Sam
suggests he go outside and count them individually. The Bean Foreman
goes outside with Sam to go count the beans. While the Foreman has
their attention, grab and swap their signs that they’ve put down. The
beans will return to their signs to find that the other beans have
complimented them. With that, the two groups will have made up and
got back to work, much to the Bean Foreman’s surprise. And since
they’re back to work, that means Bean Number 47 is free from being
suspended up on the pipe work. He’ll be lowered to the ground to meet
Sam. Grateful, Bean Number 47 hurries off to the peace conference.
Return to Sprinkle and go back into the Heart.

[10] Part 6- The Nature of Cheese
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[10.1] The Nature of Cheese
The last valve to go through is the one to the right. You’ll be
brought to the Bluburbs. Next to the sign is an advertisement
offering one free etiquette lesson from Selma Celery. Take one and
hurry down the pathway. Down below are a group of dancing soda cans
doing the pogo from the 1970s. Continue to the right and you’ll meet
the three plum plumbers known as Rock, Scissors, and Paper. Pick up
the purple and white scrap of paper. Paper will explain that the
scrap was his ski ticket, but it’s self-service now and he lets you
have it if you want it. He also adds that the shapes on the ticket
are the routes he always takes when skiing. That wrench that’s
sitting in the tool box will be needed later, but the plumbers won’t
let you have it just yet. You have to prove to them that you’re in
the “Plumbers Union” by showing them a plunger. Paper will mention
something about losing his plunger on the ski slope. Take the
stairwell down to a piping system down below. Click on the switch at
the top and Sam will turn it. The bulge in the pipes is most likely
the source of the clog upstairs. Hurry back up to the Heart and exit
through the vena cava. Return to where the condiment tree is, and go
across the bridge. You’ll find that there are construction workers
working on the cliffs. It’s also possible for Chuck Cheddar to be
stuck up on the cliff up above. There’s also a chance of him being
stuck in his hot air balloon up in the air. The construction workers
will tell Sam to be quiet due to the fact that it’s an avalanche
zone. Go up the stone steps to the top of the mountain. At the top
will be Syllabus the Sage, a large wise fortune cookie that ponders
life’s most difficult questions. Below him is his Horn of
Celebration, which he blows when one of his difficult questions is
answered. When you talk to him, he’ll say that his deepest questions
involve the nature of cheese. In order to answer Syllabus’ three
questions, you’ll have to explore a bit. The first question is “Which
fork at the table is the cheese fork?” The second question is “What
kind of cheese is the moon made out of?” The last question is “What
sort of cheese is the best to put in a cheese sandwich?” To answer
the first question, you must go to Selma Celery in regards to the
free etiquette lesson. Head to the Foothills through the Heart and
talk to Selma. Head to the Foothills through the Heart and talk to
Selma. Select the free etiquette coupon and click on Selma. By taking
the etiquette lesson, you learn which fork is the cheese fork. To
answer the second question, you’re going to have to go to the large
binoculars. Before you attempt to go past Taylor and Pierce, put the
pumpkin on Sam’s head. With the pumpkin on your head, they’ll think
you’re a gourd and let you on through. Going up to the binoculars,
use the left and right arrow buttons to survey space. When you find
the moon, check to see what kind of cheese it’s made out of. To
answer the final question, go see Rock, Scissors, and Paper. Click on
their red lunchbox and they’ll mention something about what cheese is
best on a cheese sandwich. Return to Syllabus once you’ve got all the
answers and he will allow you to blow on the Horn of Celebration.
Once the horn is blown, an avalanche is triggered, freeing Chuck
Cheddar from the cliff. Chuck will thank you for your help and then
hurry off to the peace conference.

-
[11] Part 7- Plungers, Clogged Pipes, and Bread
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[11.1] Plungers, Clogged Pipes, and Bread
Head back up to the top of the mountain and go to the right towards
the ski lift. The lift will carry you over a ravine (this is where
Chuck would alternatively be found stuck in his hot air balloon)
       and over to
the ski resort. The resort is self-service. Look again at the ski
ticket from Paper to remember the pattern, as it will show you the
correct route. When you’re ready, click on the skis, and then click
on the cliff when you’re ready. The way to maneuver is to use the
mouse to move Sam back and forth. A tree acts as a fork in the road
by giving you two different routes. Follow the correct ones and
you’ll reach the correct finish line. Be sure you grab the plunger on
the way down; it will be stuck in a pile of snow. Now that you have
the plunger, Rock, Scissors, and Paper will probably let you use
their wrench. Select the plunger and they will be glad to see a
fellow plumber. They’ll now allow you to use the wrench. Take it and
head down to the piping below. Use the wrench to remove the bulge and
replace the pipe with one of the forlorn pipes. The water filters
correctly again! Before you go, talk to Rock and trade your plunger
for his Super Plunger. Head back to the beach in the top left valve
in the Heart. Using the wrench, fix the leaky faucet for the hose
near the big cauliflower. By fixing it, the water flows through the
hose. Click on the hose to spread the water evenly and help the other
cauliflower grow larger, thus creating shade. With their sun
obscured, Dot, Star, and Cherry will have to leave the beach. The
muffins decide to just continue working out, since they have nothing
left to sketch. With the machines working, the Ferris wheel works.
Get on the Ferris wheel and grab the hammer. Click the bell and Sam
will hit it, freeing Pierre from the prize machine. He will grateful
for your help and be on his way to peace conference.

[12] Part 8- The Caramel Pit
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[12.1] The Caramel Pit
Go to the part of the Heart where Zing and the Soda Cans are dancing.
On the wall is the entrance to the Caramel Pit (where Granny Smythe
is stuck if she’s not with the cans). Go up inside. Granny Smythe
will be floating there in the center, surrounded by rings of almonds.
Hop across these almonds to reach her. Time your jumps carefully! Be
careful not to fall in or you’ll have to start from the cliff again.
When you reach her, use the Super Plunger to get her out. Now that
she’s safe, she’ll thank you and hurry to the peace conference.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[13] Part 9- The Peace Conference
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[13.1] The Peace Conference
With all the delegates rescued, it’s time to go to the peace
conference. You’ll be brought to the conference room where Chuck
Cheddar and Pierre Le Pain are arguing. The arguing gets worse until
Sam breaks in and delivers an epic speech. He explains that a cheese
sandwich would not be a cheese sandwich without bread AND cheese,
thus explaining that it can’t be done unless they work together. With
a compromise reached, Mop Top Island is at peace and no longer at
risk of war. Florette asks if Sam could stay, but then remembers he
has to go home for dinner. Sam had forgotten, in which the screen
pans out and the credits roll, showing funny pictures of the cast.

[14] Alternate Gameplay
---------------------------------------------------------------------
-
[14.1] Alternate Gameplay
Because the side quests in this game are randomly generated by the
computer (or custom, if you choose), it makes this game a bit
difficult to pinpoint exactly. However, I will go over below in the
best detail I can, every single side quest so that the information
you need can be found for your chosen gameplay;

There are 4 sections (for each of the 4 remaining delegates) with 2
alternatives (each delegate can be saved in two different ways) for
each section. These settings can be changed and applied any way you’d
like (though you’ll have to start the game over with these options);

For the first section, your options are how you can save Chuck
Cheddar:

1st option – Chuck Cheddar is stuck in his hot air balloon above the
ravine in between the mountains and the ski resort. You’ll need to
weight his balloon in order to get him down. Introduced in this
option is Zak Zuke, the weight guesser. By going to the binoculars to
get a better view of the balloon, you can see how much weight is
needed to weigh it down. Go see Zak Zuke in order to get a paper bag,
which will become useful in getting Chuck down. Now that you have the
bag, go down to the beach to where the sandcastle is. Select the bag
and click the sandcastle. Click the sand to have Sam fill the bad
with sand. The number of scoops equals the number of pounds. Go to
the ski lift above where Chuck is and select the sand-filled bag.
Hand it to him and his balloon will be heavy enough to become
unstuck.

2nd option – Chuck Cheddar is stuck on the ledge in the mountains.
You’ll need to cause an avalanche in order to get him down. This is
done by blowing the Horn of Celebration. In order to do so, you must
answer Syllabus the Sage’s three questions regarding cheese (1st is
answered by taking an etiquette lesson from Selma, 2nd is answered by
looking at the moon from the binoculars, 3rd is answered by talking
to the three plumbers.) After returning with these answers, Syllabus
will allow you to blow on the horn, causing an avalanche. With the
avalanche, Chuck can now get down from the ledge.

For the second section, your options are how you can save Pierre Le
Pain:

1st option – Pierre Le Pain is stuck on the Ferris wheel. In order to
get him down, you’ll need to get the muffins on the beach to work
out. However, they’re busy sketching the cupcakes. The cupcakes can
be called away by a bell. The only bell nearby is the high striker
game, which Sam is too weak to win. You’ll have to get near the bell
to hit it. Go to the right of the Ferris wheel down to the dock. Pick
up the wooden hammer. You’ll notice the Balloon Salesman nearby. His
shoes can be untied. Click on them. While he’s tying his shoes, take
his balloons and use them to float up to the bell. Hit the bell and
the cupcakes will pack up and go. The muffins will go ahead and get
back to working out. With the machine now powered up, Pierre can get
down and is finally free!

2nd option – Pierre Le Pain is stuck inside the prize machine. To get
him out of there, you have to hit the bell on the high striker game.
However, you have to get onto the Ferris wheel to reach it. The
muffins on the beach are too busy sketching the cupcakes to work out
and the cupcakes will only leave if their sun is blocked. The
cauliflower behind them will work, but they’re not big enough and
they can’t be watered with the leaky faucet. You’ll have to get the
wrench from Rock, Scissors, and Paper. When you see them, they’ll
only let you use the wrench if you’re a plumber, and you can prove it
by having a plunger on you. By following the route on Paper’s ski
ticket, you can get the plunger. Return to them with the plunger and
show them. They’ll let you use the wrench. Go back to the beach and
fix the leaky faucet. With that fixed, spread water over the
cauliflower to help them grow. The shade cast by the cauliflower will
cause the cupcakes to leave and allow the muffins to work out. With
the hammer from the high striker game, get on the Ferris wheel and
hit the bell at the highest point. Pierre will be free from the
machine.

For the third section, your options are how you can save Granny
Smythe:

1st option – Granny Smythe is stuck with Zing and the Soda Cans as
they do the Pogo. Due to the ruckus, Granny Smythe can’t get out.
Fortunately, we can get her out once the ruckus has calmed. Someone
should really teach them another dance. Head out to the Heart and
make your way to the comedy club. Talk to Mickey Hollandaise in his
trailer. He’ll tell you that his cue cards got messed up by some
Sweet Troops and that they most likely did it on purpose. Click on
the cue cards on the table. Sort his cue cards accordingly;

“What’s round and tangy and blue?” -> “An orange holding its breath!”

“What’s small and red and goes sixty miles an hour?” -> “A strawberry
driving a car!”

“What can you use to make a salad, build a boat, and brush your
teeth?” -> “Lettuce, wood, and a toothbrush!”

“What has yellow and green stripes, six hundred legs, and great big
fangs?” -> “I don’t know but it’s crawling on your shoulder!”

“What goes ha ha ha ha plop plop plop?” -> “An audience laughing
their heads off!”

Click on the blue cue card and swap it with the wrong joke to make
the joke make sense. When you’re done, click the yellow arrow. With
newfound confidence, Mickey goes out there and gives it his all. He
wins the audience over with his jokes. Mickey will throw away his big
red shoes. Click on them and take them, as he doesn’t need them
anymore. Now, go the library at the Food Pyramid and get Selina
Celery’s free dance lesson coupon. Head to the Foothills via the
Heart and present her with the big red shoes. Now go to the Bluburbs
in the Heart and give Zing the free dance lesson coupon. Zing will
call up Selina, whom arrives through the phone. Selina will teach the
soda cans how to waltz, a calmer and much more elegant dance than the
pogo. Now that it’s calm, Granny Smythe can get out and go to the
peace conference!

2nd option – Granny Smythe is stuck in the caramel pit. Because
caramel is sticky, you’ll need to get her out with something that has
strong suction. You’ll need Rock’s Super Plunger to get her out. But
because he’s trying to unclog the sink, he’ll be busy for awhile. If
you’ve already gotten the wrench, go down the stairwell and unscrew
the bulging pipe. Replace it with the correct pipes and the sink will
be unclogged. Trade the regular plunger for the Super Plunger and
head back to where Zing and the Soda Cans are. Go through the tiny
hole in the wall above and you’ll arrive at the caramel pit. Granny
Smythe is floating in the center, surrounded by circling almonds. Hop
carefully across or you’ll fall in and wind up back at the beginning.
Once you’re close to Granny Smythe, use the Super plunger and she’ll
be free!

And for the fourth section, your options are how you can save Bean
Number 47:

1st option – Bean Number 47 is stuck up on some piping in the
construction site while the two bean groups are on strike. The beans
have to get back to work in order to get him down. Go talk to the
Bean Foreman in the trailer. He’ll say that he doesn’t know why
they’re striking, but they are filing crazy demands from him. Go talk
to both bean groups and return to the Foreman. Click on the stack of
papers on his desk and he’ll say he has to meet the demands of the
beans, but doesn’t have the figures for how many there are. Sam
suggests he manually count them. Once outside, the Foreman will call
the beans to order, allowing them to put their signs down. While
they’re down, switch the signs. The beans will go to grab their
respective signs and find that the other group is complimenting them.
They come to an agreement and ultimately get back to work, much to
the Foreman’s surprise. Bean Number 47 will be lowered to the ground
and free to go to the peace conference.

2nd option – Bean Number 47 is stuck in the BCS 4000, a bean-sorting
machine. Go see the Bean Foreman in his trailer. Talk to him and
he’ll tell you that he hopes you aren’t looking for work because he’s
got enough troubles as it is. He has this bean-counting/sorting
machine, but no manual and doesn’t know how to operate it. The straw
hat on the table tells you that Bean Number 47 is in there. Go to the
library in the Food Pyramid. Click on the blue library card beside
the librarian and she’ll tell you to go get a picture of yourself, so
she can put it on the card for you to check out book. Go to the photo
booth to the right of the carnival and take a picture. By clicking
around on Sam’s face, you can change his facial expressions. When
you’re done, press the red button and click the red arrow. Return to
the library with the photo and give it to the librarian. You now have
a library card to check out books with! Click on the purple railing
at the right. In this game, you’ll have to retrieve the blue, spiral-
bound manual. Using the moving platforms, reach the floor with the
manual and get it. Use the Ctrl key to jump on and off the platforms.
Once you’ve got the book, check it out of the library from the
librarian. She’ll let you keep it for 3 weeks, but after that, the
fine is $400. A DAY. Hurry back to the Bean Foreman and give him the
manual. The Foreman will be delighted and ask that Sam help set it
up. With the machine set, it’s time to get Bean Number 47. Click on
the platforms as the beans come down to direct them to the correct
sections. Kidney beans are dark red, Jelly beans come in all kinds of
colors. When you get to the number 47, which should be a Kidney bean,
you’ll have found him.

From there the game will end as it normally does.

[15.1] Final Word
At last, I’m drawing this walkthrough to an end and was it ever fun!
I used to play this game a lot as a kid, so this walkthrough is a bit
of a dedication to kids of any age that enjoyed playing this game or
are playing this game currently. It’s a bit older, but a nostalgic
classic all the same. I never had the first two Pajama Sam games, but
after seeing the original two, the 3rd game is probably always going
to be my favorite! Anyways, I hope you enjoyed and understood as best
as possible. Pajama Sam games are known for randomly generated
gameplay, so it was a bit difficult for me to pinpoint, as there are
many different possibilities. Likewise, I hope this was a fun
experience for you. Until my next walkthrough!
