2. Introduction
---------------------
The contents of this guide had been written by me in 2001 for my website
AvPGalaxy (now shut down). I figured it would be a shame to let all this
information go to waste so I made this FAQ. I could have included general
stuff for AvP2 but I have kept everything in this FAQ related to Primal
Hunt. For weapons, equipment and abilities that appeared in AvP2, please
refer to my AvP2 Guide on this website.

4. Game Summary
---------------------
On a routine hunt on Planet LV1201 a lone Predator finds a mysterious
Artifact with the power to keep the savage Aliens at bay, and as legend has
it, even control their minds. The Predator triggers a stasis field, trapping
him for 500 years until Dunya, a human Corporate mercenary, unwittingly
frees him and escapes with the Artifact. Meanwhile, a lone PredAlien seeks
to destroy the Artifact to preserve the sanctity of the Hive. Now the hunt
is on to retrieve the mystical Artifact before Dunya escapes back to safety.

5. My Review
---------------------
I am definitely impressed with the storyline of the game and how all three
species' plots tie in together. I thought maybe there could have been an
extra mission for each of the three species to make a total of 12
altogether. With my game, there were certain parts of the game which had a
few glitches but it didn't stop me enjoying the game. For the price, ?20 in
the UK isn't a lot although, it's probably better for people to buy it in a
double-pack with AvP2 or wait until they lower the price a bit before you
buy it. Overall, I would definitely recommend to any big fans of Aliens vs
Predator 2. It adds a bit of variety to the game, the storyline is good and
it's interesting to see what the environments were like 500 years before
AvP2 was set.

6. Marine Information
--------------------------------

6.A New Corporate Equipment/Weapons
   -------------------------------

--- 360 Degree Motion Tracker ---

One of many things I hated when playing as a Marine in AvP2 is the fact that
you have to rely on your Motion Tracker to predict where enemies are coming
from. The problem with this is of course, it only scans 180 degrees in front
of you. So attacks coming from behind, you are unaware of until they touch
you. In Primal Hunt, they've improved the Motion Tracker vastly by making
the scanner track 360 degrees around your body.

The Motion Tracker in Primal Hunt works in the exact same way as in AvP2.
When an object is moving in a radius of a few metres of you, a small white
flashing dot appears on the Motion Tracker. If the dot appears, then
disappears, it could be due to a number of different things. It could be due
to a door opening or if it you're in multiplayer, it could be a very smart
Alien/Predator. The enemy could move and then stop which would create an
appearing and disappearing dot. If a dot stays on the screen for a number of
seconds, but doesn't move, it's most likely to be an elevator. The speed of
the dot is also a clear indication to what creature is heading towards you:

The Dot The Cause
Stationary Elevator, Smart Alien/Predator.
Occasional Smart Enemy, Door Opening, Recently Killed Enemies.
Slow Pace PredAlien, Praetorian, Heavy Predator.
Average Pace Light, Standard, Assault Predator, Marine, Statue Creature.
Fast Pace Ground Worm, Facehugger

Like in AvP2, you couldn't tell where an enemy is vertically so they could
be hiding below you or above you. This weakness still applies to the Motion
Tracker in Primal Hunt and there's no way to tell where they are vertically.
The only advice I could give you is to check area in front of you by looking
up and down. Another disadvantage to the Motion Tracker is that it only
scans a short distance around you compared to the Marine's Motion Tracker in
AvP2. In fact, the Corporate's Motion Tracker tracks around half the
distance of the Marine's Tracker. Unfortunately this means you must act
quick when you see something moving towards as they'll be closer than you
might think. Overall, I would have to say the new Motion Tracker definitely
improves things in the game but it would have made life easier for
Marines/Corporates if it was put into Aliens vs Predator 2.

--- Double Pistols ---

The first new Corporate weapon of Primal Hunt is the introduction of Double
Pistols. We already had the Single Pistol in AvP2 but now we have an extra
pistol to play with. They work in the same way as the regular Pistol but you
have a higher chance of killing an enemy and the killing is also done
quicker because of the double of ammo being fired. In terms of ammunition,
you have two different kinds of ammo.

One type is called Antipersonnel and the other type is called Armor-
Piercing. Antipersonnel ammunition fires a light, high-velocity bullet which
splits apart on impact. This causes a powerful impact on soft opponents.
Armor-Piercing ammunition fires a heavy, high-velocity bullet into
something. The bullet consists of a nonferrous cover, a lead shield layer
and a tungsten alloy core. When a bullet is fired at an object or someone,
the cover and the layers come off and allow the core to penetrate any type
of armour.

Double Pistols are actually two separate weapons as you've probably guessed
which means you have to find a second Pistol if you want to use them
simultaneously. When you've got one Pistol, you can use that on its own but
getting a second will allow you to use them as a pair. I still think that
Double Pistols are a last resort weapon along with the Knife. You do have
however double the firepower than what you would normally have and improves
your offence against enemies.

They're very good against Facehuggers and Chestbursters if you can hit them.
It takes a few more hits against Runners and Drones but generally they
shouldn't give you any problems. PredAliens and Praetorians are another
story because of their high defence so it's best to use the Armor-Piercing
ammo. Predators are stronger in defence than Drones so again use the
secondary type of ammo.

The one disadvantage you'll notice when playing with Double Pistols is the
reloading time it takes. As soon as the magazines are finished, you
automatically reload the weapons with new ammo and believe me, this takes a
long time. This can be very annoying when you're crowded with a dozen Aliens
attacking you from all sides. Each magazine can hold 12 bullets which isn't
much when you're up against many enemies at once.

Overall, the Double Pistols are hardly a new weapon to Primal Hunt but the
only things that have changed is that you now can hold two simultaneously.
Obviously, two Pistols are better than one which makes your attacks more
powerful, but the reloading time is far too long for me. Use the weapons
wisely and make use of the different types of ammunition to your advantage.

--- Sentry Gun ---

An interesting feature to include in the new expansion pack is the use of
Sentry Guns. Corporates can now pickup Sentry Guns for use on enemies which
wasn't previously done in Aliens vs Predator 2. The first thing I should
note about the Sentry Gun is that you don't actually control where it fires
which is really a good thing if you think about it. The Guns are automatic
and can fire in about a 90-degree radius but they can also fire from attacks
coming from above.

The guns are just as powerful as they were in AvP2 but they can also be
destroyed quite easily. Sentry Guns can be found towards the end of the last
Corporate mission in singleplayer and they can also be found in the AvP2:
Primal Hunt multiplayer levels. When you pick one up, a small icon appears
at the bottom of your screen and that tells you how many Sentry Guns you
have in your arsenal. For the record, you normally press T on your keyboard
to pickup or deploy a Sentry Gun. When you deploy one, you have to find a
clear space and simple press T and it'll appear in front of you.

At the end of the third Corporate mission, you'll have to defend the Cargo
Bay until Dimitri arrives. There's a spare Sentry Gun nearby but if you've
saved them all for this bit, then you'll have about three Guns to deploy.
Defending is the key so place the Guns around the Turret Gun and you'll
probably find out that some Aliens will get through and destroy your Guns.
The purpose of Sentry Guns is to defend you which comes very handy in
multiplayer.

Sentry Guns can be found all over multiplayer maps but can be destroyed
before you get to them by Aliens or Predators. As a tip for Alien and
Predator players, Sentry Guns are not active by default but I suppose it's
always best to destroy them from behind. Sentry Guns cannot only be
destroyed by enemies but they can also run out of ammo or even overheat
which obviously stops them from working. To check the stats of these two
things, hover over the gun and an icon will appear like the one in the
middle screenshot. The top green bar is for ammo and this will decrease. The
bottom bar, normally red, increases by how much it's firing. For example,
the red bar fills up if the Sentry Gun is constantly firing. If the bar
fills up, the Gun will stop firing. The bar goes down when it's not firing
so there's not really anything you can do to stop these things happening.

Overall, Sentry Guns are a fun thing to play with in both singleplayer and
multiplayer modes and offer a bit more variety to the game. For those of you
just interested in the singleplayer aspect, Sentry Guns don't appear until
the end of the last Corporate mission which is a bit of a shame. As you
probably found out in AvP2, they are quite powerful weapons and can also
fire at cloaked Predators which is very handy.

--- Turret Gun ---

The third new weapon to Primal Hunt is called the Turret gun. As you can see
from the screenshot, the gun is fixed in position so it can't be moved to
somewhere else and definitely cannot be carried by a Marine/Corporate. In
the singleplayer campaign, you'll find only one of these weapons and that's
the last part of the third Corporate mission. By the time, you've got to
this place in the game, you'll have probably ran out of ammunition so this
gun comes in handy when you're securing the Cargo Bay from Aliens.

The tips I can give you for this bit is to put a few Sentry Guns in front or
at the sides of the Turret Gun so that it can kill roaming Aliens. To use
the gun, go around behind it and press the Use key (usually E). Once you've
done this, you will now be able to control the gun and move it in all
directions. You can simply fire the weapon by left-clicking on your mouse.
Beware though, your ammo for this weapon decreases very quickly so keep an
eye on the counter in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Fire the
weapon in short bursts instead of just constantly firing at thin air. To get
off the weapon, press the Use key again and you'll back to your normal view.

The Turret Gun also appears in the Primal Hunt multiplayer levels and there
are a good number of them on each level. When you are using one, you
normally start off with 900 rounds of ammunition and I presume that the ammo
regenerated back to 900 after so long. One good thing for Corporates/Marines
is that the gun cannot be destroyed by an enemy. My advice to Aliens would
be to come from behind or above if the weapon is in an open area but if it's
enclosed then I would just run away and kill someone else.

For Predators, I would say to use your cloak at all times. If you have this
activated, then humans will hardly notice you but they still have their
Motion Tracker to hand. If you're good at sneaking up on an unsuspecting
human then go for it. The movement of the weapon is quite straightforward in
that it moves vertically and horizontally 360 degrees. You do however lose
some positioning than what you would with a normal weapon.

When firing the weapon, the gun works just like the M-90 Minigun. The
primary fire, charges the weapon up for a few seconds and then fires. This
can cause a few problems in that an Alien will kill you before you even have
the chance to fire the thing. The secondary fire keeps the barrel rolling so
that you can immediately fire by left-clicking. The upside to this is that
you don't have to wait those valuable seconds but unfortunately the rolling
barrel does make a loud noise - noises which an opponent will hear. If the
gun's situated in an enclosed sniper position, then don't charge the weapon
up to keep the barrel constantly spinning. If the weapon is in an open area,
then charge your weapon up for immediate use.

In conclusion, the weapon is OK but you'd think that there would be
something else special to it. You might be thinking, what's the point using
this when you've got the Minigun. Good question. The Minigun is probably
just as powerful if not more than the Turret Gun and you can also carry it
around with you. In multiplayer, I would say to use it if you haven't got
any powerful weapons in your arsenal.

7. Alien Information
----------------------------

7.A New Alien Abilities
   --------------------

There are not many new abilities in Primal Hunt for the alien species but
there are some minor changes. Here's a summary:

-The facehugger can now pounce through grills and grates. You'll only in
fact use the pounce twice in the first PredAlien mission to break down a
grill.

-A Chestburster can now bite through a grill. Since there are no grills or
vents in multiplayer that I know of, you will get your chance to play as a
Chestburster in the second PredAlien mission. There are quite a few times
where you'll use the Bite attack to go inside a vent.

-In Primal Hunt, this attack is probably the best addition to Aliens in the
expansion pack and the PredAlien's Head-Bite attack is slightly different to
other Aliens. In order for the Head-Bite to work, your opponent's head must
be in the centre of the screen. Once they are, a spike will veer from each
corner of the screen. These spikes are in fact of the PredAlien's mouth and
so are quite different from a Drone Aliens method of the attack. Anyway,
once the spikes appear, left-click on your mouse and the spikes will shoot
out from the PredAlien's mouth and tear the head of the unsuspecting victim.
The attack is quite difficult to get used with the PredAlien but after
you've practiced a couple of times, you'll be on your way. This new addition
also makes it much easier for a PredAlien to gain health rather than using
its Claws.

8. Predator Information
--------------------------------

8.A New Predator Equipment & Abilities
   ------------------------------

--- Self-Destruct ---

Well, I've played on the multiplayer levels with the Predator and I've
finally experienced the Self-Destruct mechanism of the Predator. The weapon
isn't that spectacular and it isn't as great as I expected. Anyway, the way
the attack works is this. When a Predator gets down to its last 10% of
health, the mechanism can then be activated. Once you activate the attack,
the Predator counts down and usually about 4 seconds later, the Predator
explodes. Obviously the Predator is killed in the process but enemies in the
nearby area also sustain damage and sometimes kills them.

As I said the explosion itself isn't visually brilliant and I would have
thought the developers would have put more work into it. As you can see from
the screenshot above, the Predator just falls to the ground and pieces of
its equipment gets scattered around him. My recommendation is the feature
should only be used when your surrounded by enemies and you know you're not
going to get out alive. If you're going to die, you might as well take
someone else with you as well. The attack is best used in narrow corridors
when there are a number of enemies nearby. Team Deathmatch games seem to be
the best type of game mode to use it in.

--- Energy Flechette ---

Introduction
The Energy Flechette is a relatively low-powered weapon but you can fire
numerous beams very quickly. This new weapon is attached to the Predator's
right wrist and it's best used when you encounter a number of enemies all at
once. Like the Predator's Shoulder Cannon, this weapon also draws energy
from the Predator very quickly. There are two drawbacks to this weapon. One
is that it uncloaks you when you fire it and two, there's no auto-targeting
system.

Against Facehuggers/Chestbursters
If you encounter just one of these creatures by themselves, then I suggest
using an alternative weapon or strategy. If it's a Facehugger you encounter,
it's unlikely you'll hit it in one shot unless you're a really good shooter.
A Chestburster isn't that powerful so I'd use your Combstick to save energy.
If you meet a number of Facehuggers or Chestbursters all at once, then this
is an ideal time to use the weapon.

Against Runner/Drone Aliens
Surprisingly the Energy Flechette is an ideal weapon to use against Runner
and Drone Aliens. Because of the rapid fire of beams, you won't miss these
speedy creatures. This weapon is even better if you encounter a group of
Aliens all at once. The only problem with the weapon is that it does use
your energy extremely quickly and there's no auto-targeting system. The
Shoulder Cannon will always remain the favourite medium-range weapon for
killing Aliens amongst players but the Energy Flechette will come as a
runner up.

Against PredAliens/Praetorians
It's probably not a good idea to use this weapon on strong Alien enemies
like these two. Remember the beams from the Energy Flechette are fast but
not as powerful as a shot from the Shoulder Cannon. I would still prefer
using a close-up weapon like the Combstick but it's unlikely that the Energy
Flechette will penetrate a Praetorian's armour. One thing's for sure is due
to the size and slowness of these creatures, you'll have a good accuracy
when firing this weapon.

Against Marines/Corporates/Synthetics
The Energy Flechette is a very good weapon against Marines/Corporates. While
the weapon is fast at killing, it does uncloak you which makes you visible
to other Marines. My advice to you is to only use it against a couple of
Marines at a time but if there's a lot, I wouldn't risk being uncloaked.
Combat Synthetics are possible to kill but remember, you are always visible
to them no matter what. If you want a medium-range weapon for Synthetics, I
would choose the Plasma Pistol.

Against Predators (Multiplayer Only)
Fighting Predators are a bit like fighting Marines/Corporates but as you
know Predators have more physical strength than Marines. Predators are slow
so the Energy Flechette isn't the best weapon to use in this sort of
situation. The weapon will kill them eventually but if you're looking for a
medium-range weapon to use, I would choose the Plasma Pistol.

Last Words
The Energy Flechette isn't a brilliant addition to the game, but it does add
a little variety to the game. It's mainly supposed to be used on quick
opponents such as Drone/Runner Aliens and it the weapon kill them fairly
quickly. The good thing is you don't need to have a good accuracy when
firing because of the rapid beams which are released from the weapon.
Overall, the Energy Flechette does have its uses but in the end, I would use
either the Shoulder Cannon or the Plasma Pistol.

9. Corporate Walkthrough
--------------------------------

Level 1: Zeta Site

Quick Facts:
Date: September 21, 2230
Time: 11:40 PM
Location: Zeta Site

The Mission Objectives:
1. Proceed into Zeta Site and locate the Artifact.
2. Place the disruption device into the proper receptacle to disable the
Artifact.
3. Find an alternative route to the surface.
When you start the first Corporate mission, you'll notice two friends of
yours standing in front of a door. Go towards your friends and they'll run
through the opened door. Go through into the corridor.

You will have noticed that your two friends will guard you along the
corridor up until a point. Follow the corridor until they stop at a door.
Open the door and you'll encounter your first Alien. In fact, there are a
couple but they tend to just attack your friends. Help them fight the Aliens
off and follow the slope down to the bottom of the room. Turn right from the
slope and head towards the closed door. Open the door and go into the next
area. There'll be more Aliens in this room so watch out for them and
continue along the room to the other side. You'll notice a large shaft in
the middle of the room which you'll need to go down. First of all look for
the lever on the yellow box on the wall nearby. Pull the lever and the
elevator will be called up. When the elevator arrives, your friends will
jump on so follow them on and press the button on the elevator to go down.
Go off the elevator and pick up the supplies nearby.

The next bit will be the hardest so far. Loads of Aliens will appear and
eventually kill the two Corporates. So you need to basically run down the
tunnel with Aliens attacking you from all directions. Keep to your left and
follow the tunnel through. You'll get to a large area and you may just see a
dead Combat Synthetic lying in a tunnel. Go through that and pick up any
supplies. When you exit the small tunnel, keep to your right and follow the
passage through. You'll see another pickup later down the tunnel but you'll
eventually at a big room with the Artifact in the centre of the chamber. Go
towards the dead Combat Synthetics and watch the cut-scenes. Pick up any
items and you'll notice that the Aliens can't come into the chamber. Turn
around to face the opening you came through, turn right and go down the
passage way nearby. Follow it through until you get to the next area. You'll
notice a small container with white light shining from it. Insert the
disruptive device to disable the Artifact into the container and watch the
cut-scenes.

You'll find out that the entrance you came from into the Chamber gets
blocked so you'll need to find an alterative route. When you can take
control again, you'll be on the platform of where the Artifact was. Nearby
the platform, there is an Alien pipe which you need to jump on. Jump on it
and work your way to the top of it. Jump onto the wired platform at the top
and go inside the corridor. Turn right and you'll notice a door up ahead. Go
towards that and go through it. As soon as you come to the door though,
Aliens will appear from behind you so take care of them first. Turn left
when you get through the door and watch out for the Runner Aliens on the
ceiling. Carry on and go through the next door. Turn left again and you'll
be in a similar corridor. Go to the end and through the next door.

If you've played the Predator missions, you'll remember this next area from
one of the missions. Kill any Aliens and be aware that there's a Praetorian
in this room somewhere. Go straight forward to the end of the big room and
just left of the Alien eggs is yet another door. Go through that into the
next small area. Unlike the Predator you will be using the elevator to get
to the top. Go right into the small passageway and call the elevator if it's
not already there. When you get to the top, jump onto the platform and watch
out for the Facehuggers which hatch from the Eggs nearby. Go the opposite
way to the eggs and turn right and you'll be on wired surface. Follow the
narrow passage and you might have to crouch under the rock but carry on.
Watch out for the Aliens which attack you and carry on into the next
circular room. Go over the orange surface and a Praetorian will appear just
in front of you. Take care of him and exit the room.

Be careful not to fall and stay to the right. Jump off the narrow platform
onto the platform with the Alien eggs. They will immediately hatch so go
down the slope nearby into the next big area. You'll notice the skulls of
different species hung up on the Predator's wall. From the slope, stay to
the right and you'll reach another slope. Go down to the bottom and cross
the yellow surface to the entrance on the left. Immediately turn left and go
up the slope to the next area. When you're at the top, watch out for the
Aliens and head straight ahead. Mind the Aliens eggs which hatch and go
through the door. Look to your left and you'll see an angry Praetorian
coming towards you. Take him out and follow the corridor. Jump onto the
platform in the middle of the room and go towards the Alien eggs. Run around
them and go through the final door to complete the mission.

------------------------------------------

Level 2: Artifact

Quick Facts:
Date: September 22, 2230
Time: 9:34 AM
Location: Unknown exit from Zeta Hive.

The Mission Objectives:
1. Make your way to the extraction zone.

After getting to the surface of the planet on the previous mission, you now
need to get to your APC which is waiting for you far away. This is the
shortest Corporate mission and probably the shortest in the whole expansion
pack. It won't be easy though as you will be running into a few indigenous
creatures and many Aliens. When you start the mission, you'll notice a red
dot on your motion tracker. This is the APC you need to reach. From where
you start, head forward and follow the route. You'll soon meet your first
indigenous creature to the planet. Kill the statue monster and continue on.
Just after the creature, go along the narrow route and turn around when you
get past a rock. You'll a couple of Alien eggs which will hatch when you
come by. Kill the Facehuggers and continue along. When you get to the narrow
rocks, you'll meet your first Aliens of this mission. Kill them and continue
out into the open.

Whatever you do don't fall off the cliff you're on. Stay to the left-hand
side and follow the edge of the cliff. Beware that there are those ground
snakes lurking under the ground you're walking on. Run very quickly to the
other side and go through the tunnel. Make your way through the tunnel and
you'll eventually get to a dead Marine lying on the floor. Get the pickup
items and continue past him, killing Aliens as you go. You'll get out into
the open and you'll notice a path leading up into the air. Use the path and
follow it up to the small cliffs. Immediately turn left, go past the plants
and you'll soon see another walkway. Use that and follow it along. Go under
a walkway above and carry on. You'll reach some more plants and a walkway
leading up. Follow it over and kill any Runner Aliens in your path.

Continue until you get to two grey plants and lots of Aliens will suddenly
appear. Finish them off and continue along the route. Keep going past more
plants and you'll be on the highest walkway of them all. You now need to
follow the paths down. You'll soon see an opening in the cliff which you are
to go through. Make your way along the paths, killing Aliens until you get
to the opening. Go through opening and watch out for the ground snakes that
attack you and just keep running forward. There's also a statue monster
lurking on your right but you'll eventually see a surface in the distance
with flashing lights. This is where you need to get to. After a bit of
running, you'll run into a Praetorian and even more Aliens behind him. Try
to kill them off as best you can and proceed to the edge of the surface. You
can't just jump to the bottom so you'll have to use the small rock platforms
to work your way down. When you get down to the bottom, continue to the APC.
Jump over each platform and run to the APC. Well done, you've now completed
the second Corporate mission.

-------------------------------------

Level 3: Severance

Quick Facts:
Date: September 22, 2230
Time: 11:19 AM
Location: Pod 5

The Mission Objectives:
1. Proceed to Storage Area C and retrieve the Artifact.
2. Proceed to the cargo bay and assist with the evacuation of Pod 5.
3. Defend the cargo bay until Dimitri arrives.

First of all, turn around and pick up the weapons and the ammunition.
Explore around and pick up anything else and exit through the door. Go down
the right-hand corridor and carry straight on to the end. Open the door and
go through it. Go right and right again and kill the Aliens that attack you.
Go past the yellow ladders, into the small doorway and turn left. Go down
the narrow corridor into the next room. The cut-scenes will appear showing
you a Predator steal the Artifact. When you regain play, go back down the
corridor and turn left. Go up the nearest set of yellow ladders onto the
platform above. Kill the Runner Aliens pursuing you and go around the corner
of the platform you're on. You'll soon notice a ladder leading into a shaft
so go up there.

The next bit is quite tiresome because you'll be spending a long time in
shafts. So follow the shaft up and open the first door. Just straight after
that one, is another door in the wall for you to go through. Kill the Runner
Aliens and jump into the next shaft. Turn left and continue along and go
through the next two air-shaft doors. Kill another Runner Aliens and turn
right and follow the narrow shaft down. Exit the door at the end and another
on your right. Jump on top the next shaft and make sure you don't fall to
your death. Try to grab onto the ladders and work your way down to the
bottom. Go through the next door and half way down is the final air-shaft
door. Go through it into the next small room.

You'll soon notice a dead Marine lying on the floor but you need to proceed
to the left-hand door. When you get near it, kill the two Drone Aliens that
come through the ceiling. Go through the door and you'll meet a few Runner
Aliens. Take care of them and go towards the flight of stairs down the
corridor. Keep going down the stairs until you get to the darkness. Turn the
Shoulder Lamp on and keep going down. You'll eventually get to a door which
should open automatically. Proceed out into the large room. You can go
either left or right so for the purpose of the walkthrough we'll go right.
You'll eventually get to a Sentry Gun which you need to pick up for later
use. Press T on your keyboard to pick it up. Carry on down the platform and
you'll get to some ladders leading down to the platform below so go down
them.

When you're on the platform below, look down the corridor and you'll see
another deployable Sentry Gun. Go towards that and pick it up. Kill the
Aliens and continue until you get to the entrance of quite a big room. Go
inside and head towards the right-hand side. You'll soon see a switch to
bring the elevator up to where you are. First I expect you'll be running out
of ammunition in some of your weapon so deploy your Sentry Guns around here.
As soon as you press the button, many many Aliens will suddenly come from
nowhere and attack you. There's also a Praetorian lurking about the area as
well. Try to hold as many off as possible and the elevator doors will open.
Pick up any Sentry Guns that are still standing and head into the elevator
doors. The doors will automatically close and you'll be transported down to
another platform.

Proceed out and the cut-scenes will come on. You'll find out that your task
now is to protect the Cargo Bay from Aliens until Dimitri arrives. You don't
have long before they arrive so pick up the Sentry Gun nearby and try to set
them up just in front of the big weapon nearby. Once you've done this, go
behind the weapon and press E on your keyboard to use it. You can rotate it
360 degrees around so no Aliens should be able to escape from your fire. Try
to save your ammo on the weapon because it doesn't last very long. Be
careful not to destroy your own Sentry Guns and after a long time of
shooting the cut-scenes will then appear with Dimitri arrives. In the end
the Corporates blow up Pod 5 to prevent the Aliens from spreading to other
Pods nearby. Congratulations, you've now completed all the Corporate
missions.

10. PredAlien Walkthrough

----------------------------------------

Level 1: New Hosts

Quick Facts:
Date: Approximately 500 years prior to the incident.
Location: Zeta Hive

The Mission Objectives:
1. Find a solitary Predator to facehug.

After the cut-scenes are over, you'll begin as a Facehugger in a dark
tunnel. Go though the tunnel and you'll get to some green rock. Go though
the small gap in the rock at the bottom. You'll soon get to a small room
with grates at the top. At the end of the room, you'll see a tunnel opening
in the wall. Go through it and follow the tunnel through. You now should be
behind some grates and you should be able to see a lone Predator standing in
the middle of the room. Pounce through the grates and a couple of Drone
Aliens will appear and kill the Predator standing there. Go left from the
Predator and you'll arrive at some more grates in the wall. Pounce through
them and follow the vent through and you'll arrive in a big room.

Crawl down from the vent onto the wired ceiling but be careful as there are
a number of Predators lurking about the place. Look through the wired
ceiling and you'll see a Predator get attacked by two Drone Aliens.
Unfortunately, the Predator has a number of friends nearby which help him to
kill the Aliens. Wait until the Predators have gone back to their posts and
you'll see a small gap in the wall at the other end of the room. You'll just
be able to see two Predators patrolling the door near the gap in the wall.
Make sure they don't see you and jump onto the right-hand wall and hide over
the rock on the wall.

Carefully look across to the wall on the other side and you'll see a
passageway. Jump quickly and go through the passageway and you'll be above
the patrolling Predators. Take the first right and go to the end of the
wired fence. Wait for the Predators to disappear and jump down into the
corridor. Crawl towards the pillar and watch out for the Predator behind it.
Go through the gap in the floor just right of the pillar and follow the vent
through to the next room. Jump down onto the floor and you'll see two
Predators just in the next room. There is also a column just before the
Predators with a grid preventing you from getting in. Not to worry, go round
the other side of the column and go though the opening and follow the tunnel
up.

You'll reach a small room with some digital panels on the wall. Just to the
left of these panels is yet another vent and a tunnel for you to follow
through. Eventually you'll be on a ledge above the floor. Go around and
follow the route round and you'll be on the ledge with a floor below. When I
came to his point there were no other Predators nearby so I just jumped down
onto the floor. If there are no Predators nearby, crawl to the floor and go
to the small opening in the ground. Turn right and go under the floor.
Follow the passageway through and you'll get to another room. When you're in
the room, be careful of any Predators and go towards the windows where the
broken control panel is. Nearby is an opening in the floor and a ladder
leading down to the ground. There is also a Predator on the floor which
you'll Facehug. Jump down onto the floor and you'll have finished the first
level.

PredAlien Walkthrough - Level 2: Body Bags

Quick Facts:
Date: September 22, 2230
Time: 12:05 pm
Location: Communications room aboard Pod 5

The Mission Objectives:
1. In order to grow into a drone, a chestburster must eat. Find a secluded
spot with an ample food supply.

After the cut-scenes have finished, you'll be inside the chest of a
Predator. Bite your way through his chest and watch the cut-scene. You are
now a Chestburster and you begin your journey in the Communications Room. Go
out of the room and into the corridor. Go past the first open door and take
a left and try to keep an eye out for a grill in the wall. Bite your way
through the grill and go right in the shaft. You'll get to another grill
with a Marine standing in the room in front of it. Let him see you and he'll
open a door that was previously closed. Go back through the shaft and you'll
get to another grill in the wall. Bite through it and you'll be in the
corridor.

The Marine might be standing the main corridor waiting for you. You can
either take him on and try to kill him or you can just quickly run by him.
Either way, enter through the newly opened door into a small room with a few
closed doors inside. In the corner of the small room are two signs. Go
towards them and jump down into the shaft below. Follow the shaft to the
other end and let the Marine see you. Go back to the other end of the shaft
and jump back onto the floor above. Mind the scientist on the floor and be
careful of the Marine standing guard. Run through the open door into the
next room.

Behind the desk is another grate. Break through that and continue through
the shaft until you get to another grill. Break through the grill and you'll
notice that you'll be looking down on a room you've probably explored at the
beginning. Whatever you do don't jump off the ledge. Instead just continue
along the ledge and go through the opening with the red light over it. Go
right and follow the ceiling up and go through the next opening in the wall.
You'll be on a ledge, looking down with a close door on the left and two
open doors on the right. Be careful of any Marines and take the open door
directly in front of you. Take the first left and you'll get to a room with
a large table in the middle.

To the left of the room is the door you need to get through. Unfortunately
it's closed so explore around the room that you're in and the door will open
with a Marine nearby. Run past the Marine and go through the door and at the
end of the corridor is a grid in the floor. Go through that and follow the
tunnel underground. Bite through the grid at the end and go through to the
toilet area. A Marine will suddenly get pulled up into a vent above the
toilet by a Drone Alien. Follow the Alien through the passageway above the
toilet. Explore and you'll find a grid in the ceiling you're on. Bite
through and drop down into the corridor below. Follow through the corridor
until you reach a Marine.

Two Drone Aliens will appear and attack the Marine and hopefully kill him.
Wait until they've finished fighting and continue through the corridor until
you reach a door with steam inside. Dodge the steam and follow through the
corridor and you'll reach a big room. Go through the door into the room and
the cut-scenes will come on. Well done you've completed the second PredAlien
mission.

------------------------------

PredAlien Walkthrough - Level 3: Free Fall

Quick Facts:
Date: September 23, 2230
Time: 03:28 AM
Location: Pod 5 morgue.

The Mission Objectives:
1. Find the Artifact and return it to the hive.
2. Abandon the Artifact and escape Pod 5 before it falls.
3. Disable the electricity to the girders and escape.

You've finally grown into a mature Alien and since you facehugged a
Predator, you have become a PredAlien. When you start the level, immediately
kill the Marine that's shooting at you in front of you. Turn back round and
crawl up the cylinder in the middle of the room. Stop when you get to the
top of it and you'll notice steam rising from the cylinder you're on and
there's also a vent above the steam. Be careful of the steam and break the
grill on the vent and crawl inside the shaft. You will now be faced with two
options to go. It depends which way you crawled into the vent but take the
left hand shaft. Go to the end and you'll find two grills. Break one of them
and crawl through until you get to a small room. There'll be lots of flying
bug creatures in the room but at the end is a control panel labelled
Electrified Duct Control. Smash that and go back the way you came in until
you get to the entrance of the shaft where the steam was.

Go through the other shaft now and when you get to the end, you'll notice an
electrified fence. This fence will have been armed before you smashed the
control panel but now you can break it down and go into the next small area.
Turn to your left and you'll notice another control panel on the wall. If
you smash this, some Sentry Guns in an upcoming room will be disabled. Smash
that and go back into the shaft. When you're in the shaft, make sure you're
the right way up and go up the shaft that's above you nearby. Follow the
shaft until you come to another room with pants on the floor. Inside the
room you'll notice that there were four Sentry Guns in each corner of the
room. They should now be disabled. In one corner of the room is a pipe which
goes under some grills. Smash the grills and continue through to the other
end.

In the next room, there will be two Marines inside. Smash the grill and kill
the two Marines. Near one of the big pipes hanging from the ceiling is a
grill in the floor. Smash the grill and exit the room. You will have to
switch to your Night Vision to see in the dark. Do that and follow the shaft
along until you get to an exit. Climb out of the shaft into the room above.
Kill any Marines waiting for you and look around the room for a vent in the
wall. There will be red light just above the entrance. Crawl up to it and go
through into the shaft. Follow the passageway and you'll come to a junction.
Go right and you'll see a pole in the middle of your route with sparks
flying off it. Destroy the pole and go back down the other way and break a
grill in the floor to drop down to the floor below.

Take your first left through the door and you'll get to a junction. Kill any
Marines and go right. Be careful of the Combat Synthetic and continue to a
big room with many plants. On the walkway in the middle of the room is a
Combat Synthetic with a Rocket Launcher. Crawl up there and try to kill him.
Once you've done this, a Marine will come through a door nearby. Go through
the door and help your Alien friend out. At the end of the corridor is an
entry into the ceiling so smash the grill and climb up to be above the
ceiling. Once in the shaft, look up to the ceiling nearby to find another
vent. Follow through the vent until you get another area. Drop down into the
area and turn around. There are two directions you can go but Synthetics
will be chasing after you. Kill the Synthetics and go around to the other
side through the corridor. Brake the grill covering the pipe and go through
it to start the next part of the level.

Follow the pipe down and until you reach the exit. Jump down, destroy the
Sentry Gun behind you and kill the guard waiting for you. Continue along
through the corridor into the next room. Kill the man on the floor if you
want but go left into the next corridor. Watch out for the Sentry Gun and
the Combat Synthetic and continue until you get to the last room. Kill the
Combat Synthetic on a walkway near the ceiling. There is also a control
panel for you to destroy. This will open another door below you. Go through
the open door and kill the Marine patrolling the area. Go left into a large
room and kill the Marine and the Combat Synthetic. If you go onto the
walkway to the left of where you came in, you'll notice a control panel with
a red light above it on a wall. Jump down and destroy it and come back up
onto the walkway.

Go back down the walkway to the other end and jump down and go into the
tunnel nearby. Be careful of the steam and make your way through the tunnel.
Take your first right and at the end is a vent for you to go through. The
cut-scenes should appear showing the Marines set fire to the room in front
of you. Once the cut-scenes are over, go through the wired fence in to the
next room. Turn right and follow the corridor. Immediately look up to see an
escape route above you. Break the grill, go up the shaft to the top and
climb out to be in a very big room. Turn right and kill the Combat Synthetic
waiting for you. Then you'll see an entrance. Go through that and follow the
right corridor. Kill the Combat Synthetic and destroy the Overhead Sentry
Guns on your way. Take your first left to be in a control room.

Kill anybody in there and turn right and there will be a control panel on
the wall. Destroy that and make your way back out into the big room. Two
Marines inside Exosuits will be visible guarding two entrances. Make your
way over to them and destroy both Exosuits. Go in one of the entrances and
crawl up to the top. Destroy the Combat Synthetic and you'll be soon in
another big room with machine in the middle of the room. Watch out for the
two Sentry Guns so you might have to crawl under the floor to destroy them.
Go around the object to the other side of the room and you'll reach some
control panels on the wall. Destroy them and come back to the long shaft you
crawled up. Crawl into the shaft and you'll notice that the high voltage
grid on the wall nearby is not electrified anymore. Go through that and
follow the vent to another grill. Smash that and that's it, Level Complete!

11. Predator Walkthrough
---------------------------------

Level 1: Legend

Quick Facts:
Date: Approximately 500 years prior to the Incident.
Location: Somewhere on LV-1201

The Mission Objectives:
1. Hunt.
2. Follow the Alien prey to discover the location of the hive.
3. Pursue the Aliens into the hive.
4. Hunt the Aliens.
5. Activate the Artifact.

After the cut-scenes have finished, you'll start your first mission on the
surface of the planet and you'll also meet all the indigenous creatures to
the planet on this mission. From the beginning, activate your cloak and
change your weapon to the Combstick and head straight along. You'll soon see
the first indigenous creature which looks like some kind of bull. Kill the
creature and continue on. Go through the tunnel ahead of the creature and
follow it through to the end. You'll be soon on a ledge looking down to the
surface. Jump onto the smaller ledges to get down to the bottom but beware
of the bull-type creature nearby. Kill the creature and you'll notice
another one nearby him. Ignore that and of you have your cloak on, it won't
notice you.

Instead, go to the far right and go through the tunnel and follow it through
to the next area. You'll immediately see another creature standing directly
in front of you. Kill the creature and from the entrance go up the slope to
your right. You'll notice another tunnel for you to go through. Follow it
through to the next area. To the left of you, you'll notice some strange
kind of statues. As soon as you get close to them, they will come alive and
chase after you. Anyway, from the entrance go left and follow the route
down. Go up the slope at the end to come back the way you came and turn to
your left. You'll soon notice another bull-type creature and there is also
an opening just behind him. Kill the creature and go through the opening
into the next area. If you're quick enough, you'll see two Drone Aliens

attack another bull-type creature and a few Runner Aliens will run away.
Kill the two Drone Aliens and make your way up to the top by jumping up
ledge by ledge.

When you're at the top, go to your right and you'll come to a large area
with trees and red mist floating at the ground. This bit can be a bit
tricky. Keep to your right-hand side and follow the narrow ledge to the
nearest branch. Jump onto the tree. Follow the branch down and jump onto the
next tree. Jump onto the ground and follow the route until you see some
objects with steam coming out of them. Go past the first one to the one at
the top of the area. Kill any Aliens and jump up into the strange object.
Watch out for the snake-type creatures that come up from the ground and
continue through the tunnel ahead. You'll arrive at a big area. Watch out
for the snake-type creatures and Aliens and jump onto the ground and go
through the opening ahead of you. Immediately turn right, and go through the
opening back onto the surface of the planet. Use the ledges to get yourself
down to the bottom.

Follow the route along the narrow ledge and more Aliens will attack you.
Finish them off and get to the edge of the mountainside and you'll see a
path and ahead is walkways leading down to the bottom of the cliff. Go along
the path and you'll soon see where you have to go. Jump from one path to
another until you're on the last path. Jump off the slope into the blue
mist. Turn right and go through the opening in front of you into the Aliens'
lair. After the game has restarted, go around the corner until you come to a
wall that has been covered. Jump through the small hole into the large
tunnel. Follow the tunnel and watch out for the Runner Aliens. Continue
through under the Aliens pipe to the end of the route. You'll see a narrow
opening in between the cliff walls. Go down the narrow path and keep to your
right. Follow the slopes down to the bottom. Go down the right path a little
bit and turn right around to see an opening. Go through that until you get
to the next area.

You'll probably see a Drone Alien cross a bridge and nearby is a big pipe.
That's what you need to go inside. Go over the walkway and jump into the
pipe. Follow it through until you get to the next big area. Kill the
Praetorian that might appear and cross the narrow walkway and turn left. Go
down to the bottom and press the button above the strange object that looks
like an elevator. Press that and go back in the other direction and go past
the big door and down the route. At the bottom is the same object with the
same button above it. Press that and the previous doors will open. Kill any
Aliens and go through the big door.

Go down the big passageway and you'll get to a big room with the Artifact in
the middle of the room. After the cut-scenes, your objectives will be
updated telling you to activate the Artifact. A swarm of Aliens will come
out of nowhere and attack you. Kill them and go left up the slope and you'll
notice across the room is a big passageway. Go past the Artifact and towards
the passageway. You'll soon get to the final room which is where you'll
activate the Artifact. Kill the Praetorian on your way and all the other
Aliens and go towards the object in the middle of the room. Press the three
yellow buttons and pull the lever at the top of them. As soon as the cut-
scenes come one, that's it - the end of the first Predator mission.

------------------------------

Predator Walkthrough - Level 2: Stasis

Quick Facts:
Date: Approximately 8 months later.
Location: The Artifact Chamber.

The Mission Objectives:
1. Make your way deeper into the Pilot ruins in the hunt for the Aliens
queen.
2. Return to the Artifact chamber and defend the outpost.
3. Find the egg chambers and reinstate the stasis fields.
5. Track the human who stole the Artifact.

You'll start this mission inside a wide tunnel so go forward until you get
to a switch. Press the switch and the elevator on which you're on will go
down into the Aliens' lair. When you get down to the bottom, you'll meet
another Predator. He will help you out for a few seconds by killing any
Aliens nearby. Get off the elevator and go through the tunnel ahead. Just
keep going straight through the tunnel until you get to the end. Near the
end is an opening in the wall. Go through that and your objectives will be
updated. Don't fall off the ledge because you have to make your way back to
the elevator. Go back down the tunnel, killing Aliens as you go until you
get to the elevator. Get on the elevator and press the button to go back up
to where you came from. Go down the tunnel you see when you get back up and
you'll get to the Artifact chamber.

When you're in the chamber, you'll see a Predator be killed by the Aliens.
Gather up any new weapons and go left up the slope. Watch out for the
Praetorian and look over to the other side of the Artifact chamber and
you'll see another tunnel. Go over to the other side of the chamber and go
through the tunnel. Go through the tunnel until you get to the next room
which you will be familiar with from the first mission. Go towards the
object in the middle of the room and go through the opening. There will be a
big hole in the floor which you need to go down. Use the ledges to get down
and you'll be deep in the Aliens' lair. Follow the tunnel, killing Aliens as
you go, and you'll get to a large area with blue pipes coming from the
ground. Mind the Praetorian and go to the top of the area. When you're
there, go left up the slope. Go into the tunnel and take your first right.
You'll come to another small area with blue pipes in the ground. Go past
them and follow the route upwards.

Watch out for another couple of Praetorians and you'll soon see an opening
in the wall. Go through that in go right, through the tunnel. Follow the
tunnel until you get to the Egg chamber. Just across the other side is a
ladder which you need to get up but on the floor are lots of Aliens Eggs
which you need to avoid. Be quick and jump across over any obstacles and go
up the ladders across the other side. When you're at the top, turn around
and you'll find a control panel. Press the panel and head out through the
corridor at the left of the room. Follow it through, killing Aliens, and
you'll get to another room with another control panel inside. Activate the
control panel and turn around to see an exit. Go though that into the next
area. This area is full of cages and loads of Aliens will come out of
nowhere an attack you. Take care of them and go around the cages until you
come to a door.

Go through the door and you'll be in a big room. Watch out for the
Praetorian and follow the route around. You'll get to a door where one of
your Predator friends gets killed by Aliens. Finish them off and follow the
corridor up and turn left and eventually you'll get a small wired door. Go
through the door and kill the Aliens that burst through the window. Go left
and follow the slope up. Go through the door and down the steps. Another
Predator will be standing by to help defend you. Just behind the Predator is
another wired door. Go through that and immediately turn left. Turn right
and you'll be in another big room with a broken control panel at the end of
the room. Kill the Aliens and go towards the broken control panel and you'll
see an opening in the floor. Go down the ladder into the Egg chamber.

Go to the machine just right of you and get your Hacking Device out. Hack
the control panel and watch the cut-scenes. After the cut-scenes are over,
you'll be still into the Egg chamber. Go right and over the beams and go
through the opening in the wall. Go up the slopes through the narrow tunnel
until you come to another opening. Go through that and you'll be in the
Artifact chamber. Watch the cut-scenes with Dunya stealing the Artifact and
a few Aliens will surround you. Kill the Aliens and go to the left and jump
onto the platform below. Then jump onto the platform below. There will be a
doorway nearby where Dunya escaped through. Go through the door at the end
and turn left. Kill the Aliens and continue down the corridor and through
the next door. Go left down the corridor and through the next door. You'll
now be in a room where rocks are falling down. Go straight ahead and near
the eggs at the end is a door.

Go through that into the next small area. Since Dunya took the elevator, you
need to find an alternative route. To the far left of the room is and
opening in the ceiling. Jump onto the platform, then onto the beam and
finally onto the platform above. Watch out for the Facehuggers and smash
through a window nearby. Jump onto the platform just opposite the middle
window and then jump onto the platform in front or to the left and work your
way down to the bottom.

Go through the only available door, up the slope and you'll be in a big room
with skulls hung up on the wall. If you played the Corporate missions,
you'll know that Dunya came down a slope into this room. If you're looking
at the skulls on the wall form the entrance, go to the left-hand side and
you need to jump onto the platform above. Ignore the slope on the right and
jump onto teach platform until you get to the top. You'll be looking down
onto the room below. Jump down to the small platform on your left and then
onto the floor. Go straight ahead through the entrance and kill the Aliens.
Go through the door and take your first left. Go up from the red mist onto
the platform in the room. Go through the next door and go towards your final
door. Well down, you've completed the second Predator mission.

---------------------------

Predator Walkthrough - Level 3: Honor or Death

Quick Facts:
Date: September 22, 2230
Time: 11:16 AM
Location: The walkway connecting Pod 5 to the water pumping station.

The Mission Objectives:
1. Find the Artifact.
2. Find an interface panel to acclimate your charge emitter to the human
technology.
3. Hack into the Pod's systems to learn the location of the Artifact.
4. You have regained the Artifact. Find a communications room from which to
broadcast a message to any Predator ships that may be in range.

After the cut-scenes have finished, you'll start the last Predator mission
inside a small corridor. Walk slowly straight ahead and destroy the two
Overhead Sentry Guns just in front of the elevator. In this mission, you'll
mostly be dealing with Marines so have an appropriate weapon out and put
your cloak on. Turn left from the elevator and go through the door at the
end. You'll be in a small area with two Marines standing guard. Kill the
Marines and go through the door in front of where you came in. In the next
corridor, there is a Marine standing guard at the end and there are also two
Overhead Sentry Guns in the middle of the corridor. Use a long-range weapon
to destroy the Sentry Guns and continue down the corridor. Kill the Marine
and go through the door at the end of the corridor.

You'll be in another small area with two Marines standing guard. Kill the
Marines and a few more Marines will come through a door. But to the right of
the entrance there's a door that needs hacking so use the Hacking Device and
go through the door. Put your cloak back on and watch out for any Aliens
which may attack you. You'll be in a room with some boilers and some pipes.
At the right of the room, there are some ladders for you to go down. Go down
them into the next area. This is quite a big room and you'll be on a
platform above the ground but two Combat Synthetics are patrolling the area
on the platform. Your cloak won't work so use a suitable weapon and take
them both down. Follow the walkway, turn left and go down the ladders at the
end of the walkway.

Kill any Aliens but don't explore this room because more Aliens will attack
you if you do. From the bottom of the ladders, go off the small platform
onto the ground. Crouch down and go under the platform. Go through the
opening underneath the platform and you may need to change vision modes to
see in the dark. Follow the passage and you'll get to another opening. Jump
out onto the right-hand side. Watch out for the Sentry Gun on the other side
and continue along through the doorway and up the ladders. Go right to the
top and a door will open in the wall nearby you. Jump into that and go left
and through the white door at the end of the corridor. You'll be in a large
room with lots of electronic equipment. To the right of the door is a
scientist and ahead of the entrance are two Marines. Kill the Marines and go
towards the control panel in the middle of the room.

Use the Hacking Device on the control panel and a door will open behind you.
There will be three Marines ahead and perhaps a few Aliens. Kill any Aliens
and approach the four Marines. Kill them and go through the elevator door. A
few Aliens will appear but you need to jump out of the opening in the
ceiling of the elevator and jump onto the ledge from the wall. This is where
things get really tricky so you'll have to save your game. You need to make
your way to the walkway above you by jumping on the ledges. Jump from the
ledge you're on, onto the ledge at the left of the elevator. Now you need to
jump onto the next ledge nearby. Once you've done this, you have to do a
really big jump to the next one. Jump onto the ledge above and onto the
walkway just above that. Go through the nearest door and through another
into the next room. Go to the end of the short corridor and use the Hacking
Device on the door at the end. Go through that into the next room.

There will be a big fight between Aliens and Marines so take out anyone who
is left. Just ahead of where you came in is a door. Hack it and go through
and watch the short cut-scene. After the cut-scene is over, you'll be back
in the previous area. A Praetorian may now enter so try to kill it off. From
where you were stood, go right and you'll see a door. Go through that and go
left down the corridor. Take the left-hand door and a Marine will be
standing guard. Kill him and go through the door just right of him. In the
next area, a Marine and a Combat Synthetic will be standing guard. Kill them
and go through the elevator doors in the room. Once you get in, the doors
will shut behind you and you need to press the button inside for it to go
up.

Once it has stopped, open the elevator doors and there'll be two Marines in
front of you in the next room. Kill them and a Combat Synthetic will come
through a door. Kill him and go through the door. Take the right-hand door
and go up the left passage. If you've played the Chestburster mission,
you'll be familiar with where you are. Go to the end, through the door and
you'll be in the control room. Go into the middle of the room and watch the
cut-scenes. The Predator will send his coordinates to other Predators and he
will fall to the floor in pain. That's when the Chestburster is born.
Anyway, congratulations you've now completed the final Predator mission.

12. New Creatures
--------------------------

--- Mutated Bull ---
This is the first indigenous creature you meet in the Predator missions and
they are only to be found on the first Predator mission. This bull-type
creature is very powerful and has a strong set of horns on its head.
Fortunately for the Predator, this bull uses the same type of vision as a
human so the Predator has an immediate advantage. Using the cloak can delay
an attack from the creature but it somehow senses that you're there and
charges at you.

--- Ground Worm ---
Found on the first Predator mission and the second Corporate mission, these
Ground Worms are terrible creatures. The good news about these creatures is
that they have their own territory so if you know where they are, you can
quickly run across the surface to somewhere where they can't get you.
There's no point trying to kill them because they cannot be killed for some
reason. Just avoid them where possible.

--- Camouflage Creature ---
The weakest out of the three indigenous creature on the planet and can be
found on the first Predator mission and the second Corporate mission. Like
the Ground Worm, these creatures have a certain way of hiding themselves.
Instead of underground, they appear as rock statues. They are easy to miss
when you're running through the mission shooting like crazy but they attack
when you go near them.
