1. Introduction
A Boy And His Blob was originally released in 1989 on Nintendo's 8-bits system,
and was developped by the man who brought us Pitfall. The game featured a boy
who had to save a planet called Blobolonia with the help of a blob named
Blobert. The goal was to overcome several platforming and puzzle challenges by
feeding the blob various colored jelly beans witch each a different blob
transformation which could be used across the game. The Wii version is not a
total remake of the NES version, but rather a re- imagining of it. It keeps
most the aspects of the original, but you'll find different transformations,
new challenges and a much more charming relation between the boy and the
blob.

Balloon
The balloon is not really needed in this version of the game. It's used to turn
Blob into a more moveable form to help him follow you better around the levels
(replaces the humming bird from the NES version). It's also used to help Blob
reach you when you're too high for him to jump. HOWEVER, instead of using the
jelly bean you can simply call Blob three times with the call button to turn
Blob into the balloon directly. In conclusion, this jelly bean is not
necessary.
Hole
The hole is needed to reach down to inaccessible areas below thin ground. You
can use it for the boy, for enemies, or even for items like rocks or jelly
beans. Whenever you need to go down, or push something below, use it.
Ladder
The ladder is used to reach higher platforms. It can also help you go through
solid and thick ground, as long as the top reaches the ledge of the platform or
ground. It doesn't reach very high however, so use the trampolines for other
matters, if you have access to it.
Trampoline
The trampoline helps you reach very high areas, or get across large pits. The
more you jump on it, the higher or farther you'll go. As opposed to the ladder
however, it can only get you up through thin ground. It can also be used with
small enemies or items like rocks to have them bounce up.
Parachute
The parachute is needed to safely fall down deep chasms or glide across long
pits of water or spikes. Whenever you have a long fall to make, use the
parachute to land with no harm.
Anvil (weight)
The anvil can be used for many things. It makes a good platform to jump a bit
higher, or to jump across a small pit of spikes, or even to jump on top of an
enemy. It can also smash through stone if pushed from above, or hold down
switches. It will crush some enemies, or land on top of bigger ones.
Ball (coconut)
The ball can be thrown through small passages. It will crush enemies on its
way, or simply allow Blob into inaccessible areas.
Bouncer (space hopper)
The bouncer will not only help you jump higher, but it will also allow you to
cross water. It's also a great way to fall down without being hurt.
Jack (lever)
The lever is used to lift up pretty much anything, from platforms, rocks,
cliffs, and even large enemies. It can also be used to smash through small
stones, enemies, and can even be used as a platform to cross gaps. It will even
hold down switches located above.
Bubble
The bubble will let you roll around ground or water, and help you reach high
areas by gaining speed as you roll forward. Large enemies will even toss you
around when you ram into them with the bubble.
Rocket
The rocket allows you to fly around the area and across thin platforms. It can
also smash through rocks.
Cannon
The cannon is needed to smash through stone walls and also to reach
inaccessible platforms that are too high or too far. It can propel you through
thin platform as well. Some enemies will even get launched when entering the
cannon.
Shield
The shield allows you to protect yourself against enemy attacks.
Doppelganger
The doppelganger will create a perfect blob clone of the boy which will imiate
your very movements. You can use it to destroy enemies, step on switches and
many other things. It can walk on spikes.
Robot
The robot will crush everything in its way. It can also glide over short
distances and fall down from very high.
World 1
1-1
This is the very first level, so expect something easy and simple. After
hearing something crash outside, head down the ladder on the right and travel
right, ignoring the chest on your way. Don't touch the enemy either as it's
instant death. When you get to the rock, push it over to the right and jump on
it to access the elevated path. Drop down and jump a few times on the rock
blocking the way to smash it. Enter the tree trunk and continue right, ignoring
the chest. You'll come to the crash site where you'll meet the Blob. Now you
can get those chests. Go back left to the next screen and push the rock down on
the enemy. A chest (1) will pop out. Call the Blob so he eats it. Now drop down
and go back right to the tree trunk to get the chest (2) from before. Follow
the path and return to the first area, heading for the treehouse on the left.
On your way grab the chest (3) you passed previously. Head back up and snatch
the jelly beans on the ground. Examine the map on the right to access the next
level.

At the start of the level, throw a red jelly bean and drop down the hole. Head
right, past the sign and the enemy, to find the first chest (4). Call the Blob
so he eats it, then throw a black jelly bean and climb up the ladder to reach
the path above. At the arrow sign, use the ladder twice to go up. On the right
you'll find the second chest (5). Throw a red jelly bean to drop down to the
path below and either jump over the enemy ahead or make a hole above the water
so he falls into it, and continue right to the next sign. Use the ladder to go
up and immediately go left to find the last chest (6). Now go right and use the
red jelly bean to create a hole and drop down. Make another hole below and wait
for the enemy to fall into it. Call back the Blob, then use the ladder on the
right to reach the exit.

Head right and leap over the spikes, then throw a yellow jelly bean and use the
trampoline to jump up to the path above. Once there, use the trampoline again
to reach the ledge above. Wait for the enemy below to get close and push the
rock down on his head to crush him. Now go right and throw a yellow jelly bean
into the spikes in the pit below. Jump on the trampoline a few times until you
can get on the very high cliff on the left above. You'll find the first chest
(7) here. Call the Blob three times or throw a blue jelly bean down so he can
get up to you and the chest.
Jump back down on the right and use the trampoline to continue up. Go down,
then head back left and use the trampoline again to reach the chest (8). Now go
right and use a red jelly bean to make a hole and wait for the enemy to fall
through it. Then use the trampoline to go up all three ledges. When you get to
the top, jump to the left. Call the Blob or use the blue jelly bean to get him
to you. Now use a red one to make a hole and push the rock into the hole onto
the enemy below. Then drop down into the hole and go into the tree trunk on the
left. In the next area use the trampoline to jump up and call the Blob to get
the last chest (9) . Exit via the trunk, then go right and use the trampoline
one last time to jump over the water and reach the exit.

Jump over the pit at the start, then use a green jelly bean and put the Blob in
your bag. Jump down and press the jump button while falling to open the
parachute and land safely. Drop down again and go left. There's a chest (10)
below. Call the Blob, then head back up. Use the parachute again and jump down.
While falling, head down at an angle to go right. There's an alcove in the wall
with a chest (11). Fly into it to grab it, then drop down. Fly over the pool of
water, then jump over the spikes and use the ladder to go up on the right. Use
the ladder again, then go right and use the parachute to fall down into the gap
on the right. There's a chest (12) at the bottom. Head back up using the ladder
on the right to reach the exit.

Go right and use the wind to go up to the upper path above. Jump over the gaps
to reach the first chest (13) on the right. Call the Blob, then drop down on
the right and use the trampoline to jump up. Go right and use the wind to reach
the ledge above with the second chest (14). Go back down and right. Drop down
but be careful of the spikes. Throw a red jelly bean in the middle and jump
down the hole. Repeat the same time with the ledge below, then head right. Use
the trampoline to jump up above the enemies onto the platform with the chest
(15) on the right. Then drop down to the exit.

Head over to the right as soon as you start to grab the first chest (16), then
head back left as far as possible from the yellow bird, which will snatch your
jelly beans if standing too close. Use the trampoline to reach the path above,
then continue right. When you get to the pit with the spikes, use the
trampoline to go up and nag the enemy to lure him. As it starts charging at
you, drop back down and watch it ram to its doom. Or just use a red jelly bean
to make it fall down through the hole. Whichever you prefer. Then jump back up,
and use the red jelly bean on the far right of the path to create a hole
dropping you down just past the spikes below. Get the chest (17) here, then
throw a yellow jelly bean into the spikes and use the trampoline to go back up.
Keep heading right to get to a rock next to a pit. First, throw a yellow jelly
bean down the pit to get the trampoline down there, then push the rock onto the
trampoline to make it bounce up to the path above. Jump yourself to reach the
path and continue all the way right until you find a spot to use the red jelly
bean. Drop down the hole, then place the trampoline on the spikes on your left
and jump on it to lure the enemy. As it charges, jump back right and watch it
fall down the pit. Now go left to get the last chest (18). Head back right and
use the trampoline to reach the exit on the right.

For this level head right and throw a white jelly bean to get the bowling ball
(or coconut if you prefer). Pick it up and toss it into the gap on the left
which leads down. Now throw a black jelly bean into the brambles on the right
and it should fall down below where the Blob is. Call him so he eats it and
head down the ladder. For the next part just throw the blob as the ball to
smash the enemies ahead. Then use the trampoline to go up and throw the ball at
the leaping enemy. It will swallow it. Call the Blob and the enemy will burst.
Now go down and right, using the trampoline to jump up. Get to the edge of the
cliff on the right and throw the bowling ball. The enemy on the right platform
should swallow it. Now wait for the enemy to bounce its way to the left, out of
the spikes. When it reaches the safe platform on the left, call the Blob to
make it burst. The chest (19) inside the enemy should fall away from the spikes
platform. Get it, then jump down and go right.
Use the trampoline to get on the path above, then use the trampoline again to
reach the chest (20) at the very top. Call the Blob or throw a blue jelly bean,
then head back down and continue right all the way across the water. When you
get to the sign, aim and throw a black jelly bean on the other side of the pit,
but not too far from the edge. Now go up to the path above using the wind on
the left and climb down the ladder Blob made for you. Grab the chest (21), then
climb back up. Turn Blob into the ball and throw it right into the small
passage where the spikes are. Then aim and throw a yellow jelly bean into that
same passage and have Blob turn into the trampoline. Now go up the path above
from the left and drop into the pit to fall on the trampoline and bounce back
up to the exit on the right.

Head right, jumping over the wobbling platforms, up to the pit with the spikes.
Either use the ladder or trampolie to go up and continue right. Past the yellow
bird, fall down one of the pits to go down. Turn the Blob into the ball and
throw it down to the level below, where the enemy is. Then throw a red jelly
bean into the brambles so it falls down there too. Call the Blob to have him
eat it and then wait for the enemy to fall down the hole. Jump down afterwards
and throw the Blob as the ball once more into the passage on the left so it
gets to the area below. Throw another red jelly bean into the brambles here and
have the Blob eat it so the enemy falls again through the hole. Then throw a
black jelly bean and climb down the ladder.
Pick up the chest (22), then make another hole and drop down. Go left and use
the wind to head back up. Once there use the trampoline to jump up to a
wobbling platform in the air. Get the chest (23) on the right, then continue
right and jump down to a path on the side of the cliff below. Use the
trampoline to go up and throw the Blob ball into the pit full of enemies. You
might need to throw him a few times to get rid of all the enemies. One of them
holds the last chest (24), so grab it and continue right. Fall down the
wobbling platform, hugging the right wall so you don't fall into the spikes
below. Then use the parachute to drop down and get to the exit.

First thing, throw the yellow jelly bean (ok so the trampoline one was actually
orange then? -_-) to get the anvil and push it down on the enemy below. Then
keep pushing it all the way right and use it to jump on the elevated path. Keep
it right and get the Blob into a anvil again. Push it down onto the rocks to
smash through them and drop down. Push the anvil down some more to break the
following rocks and enter the tree trunk at the bottom. Use the trampoline to
jump up, then throw the Blob ball into the small passage where the chest is.
After the enemy swallows it, call him to burst it up and he should pick up the
chest (25) on the way. If not, throw the ball again or use the trampoline to go
over the pillar and get it.
Then go back through the tree trunk. As soon as you fall down, use the
trampoline right here and now and jump up to find the second chest (26) above.
Then jump back down and go right. Push the Blob anvil on the enemy below, then
use the trampoline to go up. For the next part, turn the Blob into a anvil
again and push it on top of the large enemy's head as it passes below. Then
drop down on the anvil and let the enemy carry you over to the right. Continue
right and jump up using the trampoline. Then drop the wight on the rocks to
clear the path below. Drop down and hug the right wall to get the last chest
(27) there, then jump down to the exit.

As soon as you start, use the parachute and avoid the enemies to land safely on
the ground, then go right. The first chest is inside the bouncing enemy on your
way ahead. Use the trampoline to get up to it, then throw the red jelly bean
underneath it to make it fall down to the ground. Jump on the middle platform
on the left and push the Blob anvil onto the enemy to get the chest (28). Ahead
you'll come across three enemies. Use the red jelly bean to make a hole and
wait for them to fall in, then continue right. Jump up ahead using the
trampoline, then same as before, push the anvil over the enemy below to get the
second chest (29) from it. Continue right and push the anvil over the rocks to
clear the path. Jump down, then at the sign on the right, jump on the
trampoline a few times to reach a platform up in the air with a chest (30) on.
Call the Blob, then use the parachute to head down to the exit.

Boss 1
This boss is very simple. First, turn the Blob into the anvil and push it
right. The snake will bash its head onto it. Next, use the trampoline to jump
up onto the electricity beam above. Wait for the snake to bash its head into
the electrical field. It will then fly up into the air, but you are able to see
its shadow on the ground. Wait for it to stop moving, then throw a red jelly
bean onto the shadow and when the snake rushes down it will pass through the
hole and fall to its death. After the fight simply walk down to the boy's house
and select the next level on the map in the basement.
World 2
2-1
Now we're going underground. Head over right and use the purple jelly bean to
turn Blob into a bouncer. Use it to get on the upper path going over the
underground. On the right you'll find the first chest (31) . Then go down and
drop down through the manhole. Now use the bouncer again to jump up and follow
the path. You can also use it to go in the water and cross. When you get to the
arrow sign, jump on the platforms to the left, avoiding the enemies, and when
you reach the leftmost side, just drop down to find the second chest (32). Now
continue right and use the bouncer to crush the enemies in the gap. Keep it to
the right and jump on the rock platforms to reach a ledge with a rock. Push
this rock down, then to the right as the enemy passes below to crush him and
collect the chest (33) inside. Then use the bouncer to jump over the right and
you'll come to another rock. Push it to the right, then using the bouncer jump
on it to reach the exit.

Jump over the platforms at the beginning, then turn Blob into the anvil and
push it down onto the rocks below to clear the path. Then continue right until
you come to an enemy standing on a path above you. Use Blob as a ladder to
climb up and use the red jelly bean to create a hole while the enemy is looking
away. Then wait for him to spot you (the enemy should be on the left, and you
should be on the other side of the hole for it to work) and he will charge at
you, then falling down the hole and ramming into the rock wall, destroying it.
After that, just jump down the hole and go right.
Place the parachute in your bag and jump right. Glide to the second pillar,
then drop down on the right. Don't worry, there's another pillar below, with
the first chest (34). To go back up, use the trampoline, then glide to the
right with the parachute. Once there, use the trampoline to get on the path
above. Turn the Blob into the small ball and throw it through the passage. It
will hit the enemy and break the rock wall. Now go back down and use the
trampoline on the right to get into the alcove. From there, turn the Blob into
a anvil and push it down onto the rocks below to clear the way. Drop down and
use the bouncer to cross the water on the right.
Then jump up on the left and get on the path at the top. Head right and turn
the Blob into a anvil, then push it down to crush the rocks. Go right and into
the cave entrance. Here, use the trampoline to reach the second chest (35) on
the pillar, then go back through the cave entrance on the right. Now head up to
where the enemy is and nag him from behind the rock wall. Once you see him
charge at you, run down the slope and then go left. The enemy will charge to
the right and destroy both rock walls, then falling into a pit. Turn the Blob
into the anvil and push it down onto the enemy to get the last chest (36), then
go back up with the trampoline and exit the level.

Head up and use the ladder. On the left, push the rock on the switch to open
the path. Use the bouncer to crush and get past the enemies ahead, then turn
the Blob into the anvil and place it on the switch to open the other door. Head
down and use the bouncer to get across the water. On the other side, turn Blob
into a ball and throw the ball to the frog enemy on the right. Once it swallows
it, call Blob to burst it. The enemy above will crash into the rocks, clearing
the path. Use the trampoline to go up and push down the rock on the switch
below so the door stays open. Continue to the right until you find another
rock. Push it on the switch to open the door and cross. Once on the other side,
use the trampoline just left of the next rock to find a secret path above.
Head through the cave to a secret room. Here, you just have to wait for the
enemy below to step on the switches so you can cross when the doors open. Just
watch out for the spikes and follow the enemy until you reach the other side
where the chest (37) is. When you exit, use the bouncer or parachute to safely
go back down. On the right, notice the small gap in the path. Turn the Blob
into the anvil and push it into that little gap so the path is now straight. Go
back left and push the rock to the right (watch out for the enemy), over the
anvil and onto the switch. Now use the Blob to make a hole in the ground on the
right and drop below. Go right, past the switch, and use the trampoline where
the wall above starts. You'll find a chest (38)high up there in an alcove in
that wall. Use the parachute or bouncer to go back down and head right. Look at
the ground to spot a gap underneath the path. Make a hole there to head down
and use the bouncer to cross the water below. On the left you'll find the last
chest (39). Then go back right and up using the trampoline. The exit is on the
right.

Use the new crimson jelly bean to turn Blob into a bubble and get inside. Press
A while rolling around to speed up (you can press A repetitively to gain more
speed). Gain speed and roll over the slope to be sent up on the path above.
Once there, do the same thing but to the left to get to another part of the
level. There's a chest (40) on the far left. Once you got it, continue rolling
to the right until you reach an enemy with a sign next to it. On the left
should be some ledges going up. Use the ladder to climb up to the top path and
go left. Turn the Blob into a anvil and push it down. It should crush the rocks
below.
Now go down yourself using the platform on the left and jump down to find a
cave entrance. Go in and use the ladder inside to reach the chest (41) above.
Then make a hole on the left side to go back down and return through the cave.
Back in the main area, use the bubble and continue to go right, past the arrow
sign. Gain speed to go up the loop, then you'll go down two slopes. Right after
that, gain more speed in the bubble and head onwards to reach the ledge above
where the fireflies are. Get the last chest (42) , then go back down and right.
Run into the large enemy below and he will throw you up the next loop. Make it
to the top of that last loop to reach the exit.

At the start of the level, use the ladder to reach the switch on the platform
and turn Blob into a anvil to hold it down. Go down to the right and stand on
the other switch. Call Blob and place him as a anvil down on that switch too,
then go through to the right. Head on until you reach the pool of water. Use
the bouncer to cross. Get on the little platform above the water and hop onto
the one right above. Then leap to the right to reach a chest (43). Go back down
and use the parachute to glide through the enemies below. As you fly down,
stick to the right and get into the alcove in the wall. Make a hole in the
ground here and drop down to find the second chest (44). Go back up with the
ladder, then use the parachute once more to finish your ride down.
Head right to spot a small passage at the bottom of the path. Turn Blob into a
ball and throw it into that passage. Then go right and drop the yellow (which
looks lime green here) jelly bean into the brambles right on top of the switch.
Call Blob so he eats it and turns into the anvil, holding down the switch. Now
you can go right and make a hole in the ground with the red jelly bean to go
down. Make another hole below and wait for the enemy to step into it and fall
down. Call Blob and go up using the ladder on the other side. Make another hole
here and push the rock down this hole. Drop down again and make yet another
hole in the floor where the enemy is trapped below. Push the rock into that
hole down onto the enemy to crush it and obtain the last chest (45). Get it,
then go back up using the ladder and get to the exit on the right, finally.

Head right and throw the trampoline jelly bean underneath the small bouncing
eneymy ahead. It will bounce up on the path above so you can cross. Do the same
thing with the next enemy, which will crash into the ceiling. Next, use the
green jelly bean to turn Blob into a jack (lever) and raise it to pop out the
platform above. Then use the trampoline to go up. Right past the enemy above,
throw the yellow jelly bean onto the switch above so Blob turns into a anvil
and holds down the switch while you head right. For the next part, throw
another yellow jelly bean on the switch across the pit and wait for the enemy
to pass under while Blob holds the door. As soon as the enemy goes in, call
Blob back to shut down the door on it. Now drop down and use the lever to take
away the platform above. Then jump up using the trampoline and go left. Right
before the slope, where there's a gap between the two cliffs above, use the
lever right there in the middle of the gap and raise it at the same height as
the cliffs.
Then go up and jump from a cliff to the other using the lever as a platform to
jump. On the left of the arrow sign above, use the trampoline and jump on the
path to the left. Here, first use the lever and raise it until it holds down
the switch on the ceiling to the left. As soon as the enemy goes down, call
back Blob to release the switch and trap the enemy. Now throw the red jelly
bean on the ground below the enemy to make a hole and wait for the enemy to go
in and smash the rocks. Now drop down to get the chest (46) and get out using
the trampoline. Now go back to the right and head down. Push the first rock on
the switch, then place Blob as a anvil on the second switch to hold the doors.
Go get the chest (47), then to get out, simply throw a yellow jelly bean over
the gate and onto the switch to send Blob to it and re-open the gate. Now go
back left to the arrow sign and use the green jelly bean to turn Blob into the
lever. Raise it from the ground level to in-between the two cliffs above, right
in the little gap in the middle. Then go up and push the rock to the right.
The path should be straight thanks to the lever filling the gap so you can push
the rock over it and onto the switch to the right. Now go up using the
trampoline and continue right. Use the lever to take off the platform above
where the enemy is, then head up that path where you'll find two switches.
Place Blob in anvil form onto the rightmost switch and go stand on the left
one. Wait there until the enemy spots you. It will charge, fall down to the
bottom path and ram into the rock wall on the right. You can now head right.
Throw the orange jelly bean underneath the small bouncing enemy to have him
jump up with the trampoline, then get across the pit to the next jumping enemy.
Do the same thing with the trampoline, then get to the other side and step on
the switch. The enemy will hit the stone above and release the chest (48).
After getting the chest, go right and use the lever underneath the big enemy to
raise him up to the ceiling and crush it. Then using the trampoline to go up to
the exit.

Go right and use the hole (red jelly bean) to go down. Then use the bubble
(purple) to head up the path until you come to a cave entrance. Inside, make a
hole on the left to drop down and collect the chest (49) , then turn blob into
the anvil and push it on the large enemy's head as it passes by. Jump on top of
it and let it carry you over to the right side. Go back through the cave, then
get in the bubble once more and head right. Let the enemies throw you up the
platforms until you reach the top and get out of the bubble before going any
further right. Use the trampoline where the fireflies are to reach a path above
and another cave entrance. In there, use the bubble to push your way through
the enemies and use the trampoline at the end to go up.Ignore the switch for
now and go down on the other side.
Use the bubble again to crush the enemy below and collect the chest (50). Go
back up with the trampoline and place Blob in anvil form on the switch to hold
some pillars up. Use them to cross and head through the cave entrance. Back in
the main area, use the bubble to go down right and get to the exit. Before
leaving though, gain some speed with the bubble and head up the slope to reach
a high platform at the top. Go through the cave here and once inside, get in
the bubble again and simple roll over to the right while gaining speed to cross
the pits. When you get to the right side, get out of the bubble, grab the chest
(51) and exit. Then just use the red jelly bean to create a hole above the exit
and leave the level.

First, use the lever (yellow jelly bean) underneath the big stone wall blocking
the path and lift it up. You can now pass. Next, use the ladder to reach the
rock in the alcove above. Make a hole using the red jelly bean and push the
rock down the hole. Make another hole where the enemy his and push the rock
right onto it to crush it. Collect the chest (52), then go back up using the
ladder. Go right and use the ladder again to go up the cliff. Lift up the stone
wall with the lever as you did previously, then head to the right; the other
stone wall should be raised too so you can pass. Then use the bouncer to cross
the water. Once on the other side, use the lever underneath the rock to raise
it to the upper ledge. Then head up there using the bouncer or ladder and push
the rock left on the switch.
Go back down and lift the stone wall with the lever. Continue right and lift up
the stone to the upper ledge here too with the lever, just like you did a
minute ago. Then get up there and push the rock right to the middle ledge. Make
a hole here with the red jelly bean, right above the enemy below. Then push the
rock into the hole to crush the enemy. Pick up the chest (53), then cross the
water on the right with the bouncer. Here, lift up the stone wall to raise
cliffs in the water on the left and on the right. First, go left up the cliff
to get the chest (54) atop the ledge. Then go back down and lift the stone
again. This time go right along the new path up to the exit.

Use the lever at the beginning of the level to remove the stone blocking the
top path, then jump up with the trampoline. Place another trampoline under the
small enemy to have him bounce to its death, then use the trampoline again to
reach the area above. First, go left. Throw the orange jelly bean into the pit
left of the rock to place a trampoline there, then push the rock onto the
trampoline to have it bounce to the upper ledge. Then jump up there yourself
and push the rock all the way left so it falls on the enemies below and smashes
them. Then jump down there and use the red jelly bean to make holes and fall to
the bottom area. From there, use the lever to remove the stone cap, then the
jump on the trampoline to reach the top corner where you'll find a cave
entrance. In here, it's pitch black so you probably won't few a thing at first,
but there's actually a chest (55) here, which Blob will swallow before you get
to see it.
That's okay, so just head down the slope and go through the door again. Back in
the previosu area, this time go right. Don't follow the arrow yet; instead make
holes in the ground with Blob to drop down to the area below. Use the lever on
the left under the enemies to lift them up until they are crushed by the
ceiling, then jump up with the trampoline. Use the lever again to hold the
switch on the ceiling, then go back down and right. Use the lever on the left
of the sign to remove the stone platform above, then with the trampoline jump
up to the area above the spikes (after the third jump hold a bit on the right
and you should land there). Once there, make a hole on the right and push the
rock into it to crush the enemies below. Then push the rock to the right again
to crush the rest of the enemies.
Drop down and make another hole. Push the last rock into that hole when the
enemy passes below to crush it and collect the chest (56) that was in it. Now
go back up from where you came from using the trampoline. In the gap where you
crushed all those enemies with the rock earlier, jump a few times on the
trampoline to reach a secret cave entrance in the top-right corner. Inside,
remove the stone with the lever, then jump up with the trampoline and collect
the last chest (57) before exiting. Now you can go right where the arrow sign
is. Use the trampoline to go up all the ledges, be watch out for the enemies.
Once at the top, use the lever to get rid of the stone platform, then go up
once more and head right. Make a hole there to drop down, then throw the red
jelly bean at the ground with the gap below and wait for the enemy to fall down
on the switch. Finally, go right to the exit.

Start by going left and throw a red jelly bean at the enemy there. It should
fall down the hole on the switch. When it steps on it, the door above will open
and the flying enemy will get out and head right. Follow it as it crashes
against the rocks. Now use the trampoline to reach the path up there and find
the first chest (58). Then go back down and use the parachute to glide down.
Stick to the right to find an alcove in the rockface with the second chest
(59). Then glide down the rest of the way and land on the right. You can't go
through the doors here right now, use the trampoline to go up and right. Go up
again on the little ledge above and take out the parachute. Glide over to the
right, above the spikes. When you get to the other side, stand somewhat under
the yellow bird and throw any jelly bean towards the enemies at the top.
The bird will try to catch the jelly bean and will knock itself on the enemies,
destroying them all on the occasion. If you miss the shot, just stand somewhere
else or throw the jelly bean another way until you get it. You just have to
lead the bird to the enemies. Afterwards, use the parachute again and glide
downwards to reach the path below, on the left. To avoid the enemy on this
path, lure him to the right, and stand on the elevated part of the path. Wait
for him to start charging at you, then jump over it as it rams into the side of
the path. Continue left and push the rock on the switch to open the doors. Jump
down and use the parachute again to glide down. Stick to the left to find a
cliff. Glide down from the left side of that cliff to find the last chest (60),
then continue to glide down into the bottomless pit to reach the boss.

Boss 2
As soon as the boss battle starts, use the purple jelly bean to get inside the
bubble. The boss won't be able to hit you. Then head to the left to get on the
upper path. Stay in the bubble and stand as close as possible to the enemy on
the right. The boss will try to attack you but will catch the enemy instead.
Now go right to the next path. Stand on the switch to retract the pillar on the
left and get off as soon as the enemy goes below it. The boss will catch up and
ram into the enemy. Now get back inside the bubble and go right to the last
path. Throw a red jelly bean underneath the enemy so it goes down the hole and
call back Blob. The boss will crash into the enemy and be gone. Now get to that
door to leave the level and use the rocket outside to reach your new world.
World 3
3-1
Now you have a new power: the rocket. So use it right away by taking out the
brown jelly bean (not to be mistaken for poop). Fly upwards and right to find
the first chest (61) in an alcove past some spikes. After which, fly back into
the path below and follow the way to find another alcove to the right. Fly into
the rocks, then up to find the second chest (62). Head back down by making a
hole in the ground and use the rocket again to follow the path. For the next
part, go down by making a hole, then make another hole on the right straight
above the switch that you see below. Then push the purple rock into the hole
and onto the switch. Now use the rocket to go up and land on the platform above
the spikes. Turn Blob into the ball with the white jelly bean and throw the
ball into the gap where the enemies are to smash them. Jump down to the ledge
on the left and use the rocket to cross over the spikes. Follow the path until
you come to the parachute sign. Glide down the pit using the parachute to land
on a platform below. From there, jump to the left, avoiding the enemy and go
inside the door. In the following area, naviguate your way through the pillars
using the rocket to reach the other side where the last chest (63) is. Then go
back through the door and use the rocket to fly to the exit straight ahead.

Head right at the beginning and jump over the small wobbly platforms. When you
get to the third one, let it fall down and move a bit to the left to fall into
a secret path below. Turn Blob into the ball with the white jelly bean and
throw it at the enemies in the passage to destroy them. Then head right and
into the door. Throw the Blob ball again at the frog enemy so he eats it and
call Blob to obtain the chest (64) that was inside the enemy. Then destroy the
other enemy and head back through the door. Back in the previous area, drop
down and use the rocket to head up the path to the right. When you get to the
top, fly to the left instead of going the right way. Avoid the enemies and land
into the gap at the end. You'll fall down next to another door. The chest (65)
here is hidden behind some plants on the right of the door, but even if you
don't see it, Blob will swallow it immediatly so just wait for him to do that
and then go through the door.
Back in the main area, go right and throw Blob in ball form right on top of the
enemies blocking the way to burst them. Then use the parachute and fall down
the pit to land where a happy couple of black blobs are holding hands and
having a stroll. Throw a red jelly bean on the left and wait for them to step
in and fall down to their doom. Then go down the same hole and use the
platforms to jump down to the path on the right. Use the rocket here and
carefully naviguate your way through the enemies and up the path. Don't go
right, instead fly to the left to find the last chest (66) at the end. Fly back
to the right this time and jump over the big enemy as he charges at you up the
hill. Continue to the right and through the door at the end. Throw Blob as a
ball into the passage to defeat all enemies, then go right and use the rocket
to work your way through the next part, which is pretty hard. Try either
staying up or down the area and don't move when the wind blows. You will
probably need a few tries before getting it right. Once past this part, you'll
reach the exit.

At the start, turn Blob into the ball with the white jelly bean and throw it at
the frog enemy, then calling out Blob to burst up the enemy. Continue right and
create a hole in the ground with the red jelly bean to go down and through the
door there. In the next area, go left and aim any jelly bean down at the bottom
enemy. Throw it from a distance and the bird should try to grab it and crash
into the enemies instead. Throw it at far as possible behind the bottom enemy
for it to work. Then collect the chest (67). Now go right and jump over the
gaps. Turn Blob into a ball and throw him at the enemies on the right to clear
the way. Continue right until you come to a door and go through. In the next
area, drop down to the left and go through the other door down there. You'll
re-emerge in the previous room. Just drop down on the ledge below and go
through the door on the left.
Here, use the lever to hold down the switch on the ceiling, then go down on the
left where the lowered pillar is. Place down a white jelly bean right on top of
the piece of the pillar sticking out and then stand on it yourself. Then call
Blob. The pillar will raise, with you and the jelly bean on top of it. Blob
will come up there too and turn into the ball. Throw the ball from atop the
pillar down on the enemies at the left. Then grab the chest (68) and use the
lever again to hold the switch above so you can head back out. Go back through
the door to be back in the main area and go back down and through the door at
the right on the ground-level. Back in the room from before, this time go
right. Jump over the small enemy, then go down and hurry through the door
before the big enemy spots you.
In the next area, first push the purple rock to the left so the enemy falls
down into the pit. Also push the rock in the pit and wait for it to re-appear.
Then push it to the right as the big enemy stands below to crush it down with
it. Collect the chest (69) that was in it, then head through the door on the
right. In the following area, throw any jelly bean in direction of the enemies
from a distance. Throw it far behind the enemies and the bird will try to catch
it and crash into them, destroying them. Then throw Blob as a ball to the frog
enemy and call him back to burst the enemy. Finally, head through the door.
You'll emerge in front of some spikes. To cross them, throw the green jelly
bean in the middle of them to turn Blob into the lever. Then jump on the lever
to cross. Go through the door on the other side. In the next area, simply throw
Blob in ball form to destroy the enemies and go through the door at the end to
finally reach the exit.

Start by using your new cannon with the peach jelly bean and aim for the rocks
on the right side to smash through them. Then look up to spot a door above more
rocks. Smash through them with the cannon and go through the door. In the next
area, propel yourself on the path above the water, then use the hole to fall
down below and get the first chest (70). Go back up using the cannon and propel
yourself back across the water and through the door. Back in the previous area,
go right and throw the cannon jelly bean into the pit with the spikes below.
The enemy there will get in the cannon and Blob will split it out and crush the
rocks blocking the way. Jump over to the other side and go right.
Throw the cannon jelly bean at the two enemies in the corner at the far end.
When Blob turns into the cannon, the two enemies will burst up and the chest
above will fall down. Grab the chest (71), then make a hole in the ground to
reach the path below. Head right and your path will be blocked. Make a hole in
the ground right in front of the blockage, then throw the cannon jelly bean
down the hole and call Blob so he goes down and gets it. The enemy down in that
hole will be swallowed by the cannon and Blob will launch it into the rock wall
with the enemies, clearing the way. Continue to the right and your path will be
blocked again. Use the lever to lift up the big stone structure like you did in
previous level and a path will appear on the right.
Cross to reach the next platform. Use the cannon here to shoot yourself to the
other side. Lift up the stone here too and cross. Before going on the new path
on the right, look up to spot a chest above. Use the cannon at the right angle
to shoot yourself up to that platform and get the chest (72). Then lift the
stone to the left to go back down and cross the new path on the right. Once on
the other side, call Blob and turn him into the cannon. Go right and nag the
enemy. As soon as the enemy starts charging, get inside the cannon and stay
there as the enemy runs past. It won't touch you as long as you stay in there.
With the enemy now gone, continue right and you'll come to a pit with spikes.
Throw a red jelly bean on the path above where all the enemies are walking.
Blob will make a hole and the enemies will fall down. Now turn Blob into the
anvil and push it down on top of one of the enemies. Jump on the anvil and let
the enemy carry you to the other side where the exit is.

Start by pushing your way through the rock pillars with the cannon, then use
the ladder to go up to the ledge with the purple rock. Push that rock down so
it lands on the switch below. This will raise a pillar in the wall. Use the
ladder to go up to that pillar and turn Blob into a anvil. From that pillar,
push the anvil down onto the rocks below to crush them. You can now collect the
first chest (73) in the alcove below. Now go back up and use the cannon to make
your way to the top of the area. Use the cannon again to smash throuh the
rocks, then go right and using the cannon again, shoot yourself up at an angle
to reach the area in the northeast corner, above the large enemy across the
water. Use the cannon there again and shoot yourself to the top-left corner to
smash through the rocks and collect the second chest (74).
Now go back down and across the river on the left side. Throw the jelly bean at
the very edge of the ledge and use the cannon aiming straight upwards to propel
yourself up to the path above. Head through the doorway, then in the next area,
use the crimson jelly bean to roll inside the bubble and go down the hill to
the right to be thrown farther by a large enemy. To get the last chest, use the
cannon to reach one of the two platforms at the top, then turn Blob into the
anvil and push it down from there to smash through the rocks below. Collect the
chest (75), then go back up and get inside the bubble again. Roll to the right
to avoid the falling torns and head through the doorway. Back in the previous
room, use the cannon and aim right through the big enemy to smash through it
and clear the way. Then use the cannon again to go up and roll down the hill
with the bubble until you reach the end of the level. Here simply use the
cannon as previously to get to the exit.

When you start this level, get on the rocket and fly to the very bottom of the
area. There is a secret passage to the right. Follow the way to find the first
chest (76). Then fly back left and up. Follow the path carefully avoiding the
enemies until you reach safe ground. Here, use the lever to pierce through the
rocks above. Do it one time for each rock, then wait for the two enemies to
walk into the gap on the left. They will step on the switch and open the door
to the right. Go through and use the rocket to head onto the path ahead. The
path will go up at one point; keep an eye on the left to spot another way. Veer
left and at the end of this path you'll find the second chest (77). Get back on
the rocket and follow the rest of the path up. Use the lever here to hold the
switch down on the ceiling and go right. Make a hole in the ground to drop down
and take out the parachute. Carefully glide down to the bottom, then use the
rocket to fly up the path.
At the top where the enemies are, the path will split in two; go left first.
Use the lever to remove the stone above, then while the enemy is still held up
by the lever, throw a red jelly bean on the ground below and run to the right.
Then call Blob to make the hole and the enemy should fall or walk into it. Then
use the trampoline to jump up to the path above and, lastly, use the cannon to
smash your way through the rocks and collect the chest (78) at the end. Now
head back down and use the rocket to make your way to the right. Smash through
the wall of rocks with the cannon to make it to the other side, then use the
lever to pierce the rocks on the ceiling and hold down the switch above. Wait
for the enemies on the right to go left, then shut down the door and do the</pre><pre id="faqspan-2">
same thing with the switch on the left. When the enemies come out, wait for
them to step into the small gap and make a hole with Blob so they fall down
below and step on the switch there. Now use the lever to hold down the switch
where the rocks were once more to re-open the door and head on to the right to
find the exit.

Start by going up using the ladder, then use the lever to hold down the switch
on the ceiling. The enemy will come out and crash into the rocks on the right.
Now turn Blob into the anvil and push him down into the other enemies below. Go
down, use the ladder again onwards and continue right. Cross the windy gap,
then from the right side use the lever to crush the enemies above. Head up
using the wind, then once on the other side, use the ladder to climb up through
the ground and reach the area above. Go right and use the ladder again to reach
the ledge with the purple rock. Push the rock down and push it a bit left again
so it's placed right above the darker brown cliff that you see below the normal
ground (to the left of the breakable rocks). Then get to the left of the sign
and use the lever to lift the cliff there. This will raise the other cliff
below here you placed the purple rock. Now jump on that new cliff and push the
rock down on the breakable rocks to the right. Drop down and you'll find
yourself below the large enemy blocking the path. Use the lever underneath it
to lift it up to the ledge above and get rid of it.
Now head back up with the ladder and go right. Cross the pit with the spikes
using either the lever or just the rocket, simply. Then go up using the ladder.
For the next part, you have to jump on the platform in the middle and avoid the
enemy, but I prefer simply turning Blob into the anvil, push it down onto the
enemies, then simply dropping down. Once on the path below, go right and use
the lever to crush the two enemies floating above. The path is now clear, so go
up the ledge using the ladder and then use the lever here to lift up the cliff
and thus raising another cliff on the right so you can cross. On the next path
you'll see the rocket sign, but ignore it. Call back Blob and continue right. A
bit further ahead you should spot a piece of the ceiling that is of a darker
brown. Use the lever on this spot to raise the cliff above and continue right.
This should have lifted another part of the cliff and you'll find a secret door
at the bottom of the pit ahead.
The secret area is kind of complicated if not done properly. First, simply use
the rocket to fly above the spikes and reach the part above. You'll see two
enemies on the left and the chest above. Start by using the lever on the stone
cap, but make sure it's placed right in the middle or it might not work. You'll
want to get rid of the enemies in a way they don't fall on you, so right after
you remove the first cap, leave the lever in position and make sure that the
enemies can still walk on it without falling down (shouldn't if placed in the
middle). Don't call back Blob, nor try removing the cap where the chest is;
instead simply lower the lever a little bit. The enemies will peacefully come
down as on a stairway and then will walk into the spikes and you won't have to
worry about them anymore. So now remove the other cap and get your chest (79)
