Since this game is in Japanese only, I will briefly describe what the menus
mean in this section. The first menu you will see has three options. The first
is New Game, the second is Password, and the final is Training. When you select
New Game, the next screen asks you how many players you want to play. The
options are 1 player, 2 players, or computer. After that screen, you enter your
name. From there, you pick your clubs in which you just fill your bag. After
you pick your clubs, you will go straight into the game after some long
dialogue.

* SHOOTING
The most important part of the game is being able to shoot accurately.
Fortunately, this golf game only has a power bar and doesn't have an
accuracy portion to it which will make your shots very accurate. Also,
learn where to hit the ball in each situation. Hitting the top of the ball
is pretty pointless. Hitting it from the bottom though will make it go
high in the air, which will cause the wind to affect it, and when it
lands, it will stay nearby without rolling. Hitting the ball on the left
side will cause it to slice to the right and hitting the right side of the
ball will cause it to slice to the left.
* TALKING TO YOUR CADDIE
The caddie doesn't offer much advice, well I'm assuming not since I can't
read Japanese. However, the one useful piece of advice she will give is
how far the pin is from your ball. This will help a lot when deciding
which club to use so always talk to her in between shots.
*SELECTING THE RIGHT CLUB
Just like I mentioned above, you should talk to your caddie at all times
so you know how far the hole is from your ball. Refer to the clubs section
of this guide (GKO3) to know how far each club can hit.
*CORRECTING FOR THE WIND
Even a slight wind will really affect your ball. A speed of 5m will cause
the ball to slice in whichever direction the wind is blowing. You should
always correct at least a little for any wind you will have.

In this section, I will explain how you should approach each hole | F ^ 7
along with a drawing of the green of each hole. In the drawings of | `.|.'
the I will use characters to show slopes. Any double characters means | <--+-->
that hill is bold in game and steeper. Refer to the legend to the | .'|`.

Shoot it straight down the fairway. Try to make it go in between the two sand
traps and you should just barely get past them which will leave you for a
straight shot at the green. From here, you should have a straight shot unless
the tree is blocking you. The tree will only get in your way if you hit the
right sand trap. If the tree is in the way, just slice around it.

This first shot is pretty tough because the fairway is so far away and there is
a tree right at the beginning of the fairway. Try aiming just to the right of
the tree so it will land on the fairway before the sand trap. Now aim straight
down the fairway from here and in between the two sand traps ahead. From here,
you'll have a straight shot for the green.

It is very hard to hit the ball over the river unless you have the wind on your
back. You may want to play it safe and hit the fairway before the river. From
before the river, you probably want to hit the end of the second fairway. IF
you're after the river, just aim straight for the green.

You can actually hit the green from the tee on this hole. You might even get a
hole in one if you're lucky enough which is incredible for a par 4. Just make
sure to get max power on the shot.

just before the water. From here, you won't be able to get over the next river

You can't hit the green from the tee but you will get it in bounds near the
green, in the rough. I suggest just aiming it down the fairway so you don't run
the risk of landing in front of a tree. From the fairway, just aim straight for
the green.

This hole is tricky. Aim for the smaller fairway if you're really confident
that you can hit it. It's tough to hit so you may want to aim for the larger
fairway to the right. If you hit the smaller fairway, aim for the green. If you
hit the larger fairway, aim for the end of this fairway and then aim for the
green. You won't be able to make the green from the first shot on the larger
fairway.
