Please Note - This whole FAQ is searchable. That means you could easily
find whichever section you are looking for. Just press ctrl+f and type in
the name of the section or the password (the four digit number to the far
right) and press enter. It will bring you straight to that section.
===============================================================================

* B - Brake
* Start - Pause
* Select - Kill Engine
===============================================================================
----------------- 2. - Driving Strategies ------------------
=====================================F1S2======================================
Tuning:
First off, you want the best car as possible. In order to get the best car, you
have to tune it. In the section below this, you will see what all of the
different tuning will do. At the bottom of that section will be the recommended
settings. That is the best for most tracks. If you need better handling, tune
it for better handling with the wings, but you won't be as fast.
Turning:
Turning is difficult in this game at full speed, mainly because it's semi-
realistic. Start on the outside of a turn, for example be on the left during a
right turn. Then start to turn so you will be on the inside and already turning
at the beginning of the turn. This will help let you go through longer turns
faster.
Pitting:
After a while, you will have to pit. You could get new tires, wings, or engine
repair. Pay attention before you pit at the upper left corner of your screen to
see what you need. Don't get everything at once because the pit will take a
long time and you want to spend as little time as possible in the pit. Take
what you need and get out.
Passing:
The last thing you want to do is hit the other cars. Go around them at all
costs. When there are other cars in your way, slow down. Don't ever hit
anything because every little thing you hit, the slower your car will go.
Transmission:
There are two types of transmissions. One is automatic and the other is manual.
Automatic is easier. Manual is a little harder but it keeps you busy. For
automatic, the gears will shift "automatically." For a manual, you will have to
shift "manually." To shift press Up or Down. Up will shift up and Down will
shift down. You will have to shift up, when you reach this gear's top speed. If
you are going slow, then shift down.
===============================================================================
----------------------- 3. - Tuning -----------------------
=====================================F1S3======================================
To tune your car, you have to go to settings before a race.
The dash is the acceleration. You want a high dash if you crash a lot. The
Speed is just your top speed. You want this is you don't crash a lot. Steer is
how good your car handles. You just want the best possible steer.
Wing:
- Front
Angle 10 Degrees -1 Steer +1 Speed
Angle 20 Degrees +0 Steer +0 Speed
Angle 30 Degrees +1 Steer -1 Speed
- Rear
Angle 30 Degrees -1 Steer +1 Speed
Angle 45 Degrees +0 Steer +0 Speed
Angle 60 Degrees +1 Steer -1 Speed
Tire:
- Slick
Soft +1 Steer
Mid +0 Steer
Hard -1 Steer
- Rain
Soft +1 Steer
Mid +0 Steer
Hard -1 Steer
*Please Note - With tires, the better the steer, the less durable your tires
will be. This means that if you take soft, you will have good
steering but you'll have to pit more often. And it's the other
way around with Hard tires.
Suspension:
- Suspension
Soft -1 Steer
Normal +0 Steer
Hard +1 Steer
Shift:
- Shift
Manual +0 Speed
Automatic -1 Speed
*Please Note - The transmission has to be either Manual or Automatic. With
manual, you have to shift up and down yourself, but with
automatic, you won't have to shift at all.
Gear:
- Gear
Low -1 Speed +1 Dash
Normal +0 Speed +0 Dash
High +1 Speed -1 Dash
Engine:
- Engine
V-12 +0 Speed
V-10 -1 Speed
V-8 -2 Speed
Brake:
- Brake
Soft
Normal
Hard
*Please Note - The brakes are just like the tires. Soft works better but is
less durable and will need repairs quicker than Hard brakes.
But hard brakes aren't as good.
Here are the recommended settings for best performance of your vehicle:
Wing:
-Front Angle 20 Degrees
-Rear Angle 45 Degrees
Tire: <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
-Rain Soft |
Suspension: With these settings, your car will have |
-Hard the following specs: |
Shift: |
-Manual Dash ********** |
Gear: Speed ********** |
-Normal Steer ******** |
Engine: |
-V12 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Brake:
-Normal.
===============================================================================
----------------------- 4. - Tracks -----------------------
=====================================F1S5======================================
I added this section so you could predetermine what settings you'd like based
on how many turns there are. The indents on certain sides point in the
direction you are driving in.
