I. Overview
One day during Dragon Warrior IV playing time, I found that after a battle, a
random monster dropped a tresure chest. I thought to myself: "Cool! Free stuff!"
Then I thought, "I wonder if all monsters do that?" As I played through the
game, I found that many times a monster would drop a chest, or Taloon would
steal one.
Suddenly I wanted to know what all the treasures were. So I went to my favorite
web site for game info, GameFAQs. But there was no treasure guide! Not even in
any of the FAQs! Over long periods of time in my room (whereupon I almost became
ill), I came to the decision that I would write this "treasure guide". And here
we are.
About the guide:
Quite simple really. I'm going to list every random monster in the game, then
list the treasure chest that can be dropped after it is defeated (or that Taloon
may be smart enough to steal) The list is, as far as I know, complete, accurate,
alphabetized, and 100% my own treasure-hunting.
