be used as an easy way to reference specific character quotes and/or endings
for those who might need it, though you may not copy large parts of this
without my permission. If you make use of something you find here give

This is my first quotes and dialogue guide for a Neo-Geo game. And what a
great game this is. It has great controls, characters, story, graphics, and
all on a system that is still surviving after all these years. Some of the
dialogues and quotes get a bit cheesy when they insult someone though.

Notes:
In [brackets] are a brief description of the animations in the endings.
Quotes listed under "Close fight" are those that you get when you win the
last round with a flashing life bar.
Quotes listed under "Fatal hit" are those that you get when you "kill" the
opponent either by slashing them in half or stabbing them so blood comes
rushing out of their body. Finishing your opponent with a desperation or
super desperation move also gets this quote. Hibiki has four of these
depending on how many 'fatal hit' finishes she has had.
Quotes listed under "Mirror match" are those that you get when facing
yourself.
I think the priorities for the special quotes goes from "Mirror match" to
"Close fight" to "Fatal hit" meaning that you would get the "Mirror match"
quote over the other two if you also had a mirror match and/or close match
and so on.

Alternate Ending:
To get this, you have to get at least 6 'fatal hit' finishes before you
finish the game. This means either killing all your opponents up to Amano
(because you can't 'fatal hit' him nor Kouryu) or finishing enough human
opponents to meet the requirement.
