BY SNK/Saurus 122 MEG CARTRIDGE

version 1.0
This is the largest Quiz game on the Neo, and it features some characters from the King
of Fighters and Samurai Shodown series(Terry, Mai, Ryo, Robert, Haohmaru, and Nakoruru).
Now, since this cannot show in detail how to get through the game(the whole game is
random), I'll tell how to play it, and give hints and strategies for it as well.
Please enjoy this FAQ!
----------------
1. How do I play this game, and tell me what to expect.
Well, expect a lot. At the start, after choosing difficulty, from the following:
Easy
Normal
Hard
MVS(between Normal and Hard)
Harder difficulty means harder questions, by the way. Then, you choose three
paths to take, which are:
Game Start
Versus Battle
Info about Characters
I'll do the "Game Start" last, but now I'll describe the Versus Battle and Info
about Characters now.
"Versus Battle"----------
1P vs. 2P, in a battle to if you get the quiz questions right. You both have a life
bar, and you have to answer the question the fastest, in order to take lots of life away
from your opponent. If you get it wrong, you lose a little bit of your life bar, and they
still laugh at you......
You play best 2 out of 3 rounds this way, and you get to choose the 6 characters, PLUS
Amakusa Shiro Tokisada, Wolfgang Krauser, Takuma Sakazaki, and Geese Howard.
The background settings change as well, for each opponent there is a different one.
"Info about Characters"---------
Want to know info about the characters in this game, including Yuri Sakazaki? If you
can read kanji, then this is for you. Find out what your characters' pet peeves are, what
they like, how tall and how much they weigh, and such. Good to pass a little time......
Now, how to play the "Game"....
The object of this game is to save Yuri Sakazaki from this very EVIL monster/magnate of
sorts, who is very tall, and human-like as well. You use 6 characters to help save her,
and beat opponents by answering questions they give you, correctly.
This game has 3 continues, and 3 life points per continue. Each time you get a question
wrong, you lose one life point, or if you don't answer in 5 seconds. 3 wrong, and you lose
a continue. Get it right however, and you go to the next question, or if you beat the opponent,
go on.
The game is "Board-Game" like, meaning that once you start, you randomly choose how many
spaces you go, before you meet an opponent. There are a few special spaces in this game,
which you must stop at, including:
Shops, where you can buy items such as:
3 choices per question
2 choices per question
Pick the category
Change category
Skip section(not boss however)
Each answer worth 2 points
???
At random prices.......
And, mini-boss(side view of a face in a shadow), and boss(GOAL), which, no matter if you
should've passed them, you have to face them. his game is random, meaning that you will
sometimes, if you have to repeat a stage, have to face a different mini-boss and regular
fighting opponent. Bosses stay the same..
.....you will have to fight Krauser, Geese, Amakusa, and Takuma eventually........
Just like the "ACCIDENT" random fights in Quiz Daisousa Sen 1 and 2, this game has its
share. Out of two people that do this, one policeman who looks really ugly, and a mobster
with a mini-gatling gun, fight random, "SPECIAL" fights with you. Like the following:
"RAPID PRESS"---
Exactly like Quiz Daisousa Sen, you have to answer a number of questions right by pressing
the corresponding button that you want to answer, RAPIDLY to fill up a bar. After it's filled
up, then you answer either correctly, or incorrectly.
"SLOT QUIZ"---
Press A, B, and C to stop the slot divisions, and you get a random question. Get a number
of them right, to continue.
"MATCH PUZZLE"--
This, you have to find the computer's secret matching puzzle. Use O's and X's to try
to find it, on a 16-square board. With a little luck, you'll pass this with flying colors.
Now, this is how you fight a mini-boss and boss........
"BOSS FIGHT"----
The object here, is to get the question right, as fast as you can, to land the most damage
on the boss, who has a life bar. The longer it takes for you to answer, the less damage you
do to the boss, even if you get it right. On the left(or in 2P, on the right as well) there
is a set of bars that count down, and your object, is to answer while the lighted bar is still
the first one.
There are many bosses to fight here, and this is an art, so look to the strategies for more
info.....
By the way, every time you land a hit on the boss, there is full-motion animation, showing
yourself using a move to hit the boss(punch, kick, uppercut, special move).....the same
happens when the boss hits you(you don't get a question right). There are about 3 mini-bosses,
and a boss in each stage.
Also, you have to beat the game through three times(slightly different each time), and then
you'll get into a tournament, before you fight the tall humanoid for the safety of Yuri Sakazaki.
---------------------------------------
2. Strategies........
Okay, here they are.....:
1. Always try to use two players as much as possible. Two brains is better than one!
2. There seems to be a pattern on bosses. With 2 players, 80% of the time, the answers will
be eitherA or B, or C or D(meaning, 1P gets it wrong on A, but 2P gets it right on B).
It really works!
3. Try to stall on answering as much as you can, except for mini-bosses and bosses of course.
---------------------------------------
3. Any past revisions?
No, there are no past revisions......but if anyone would like to contribute, please do so,
and you'll be credited here. I'd like to thank my little brother for helping me to complete
this game as well.
