I. William Regal's Bio
----------------------

Courtesy, dignity, class, etiquette, and manners. These are the virtues
that our Ambassador of Goodwill from the United Kingdom has tried to instill in
the other superstars of WWE. When he joined World Wrestling Entertainment in
September 2000, his mission was to help create a more civilized society.
In March 2001, his goodwill won over Mr. McMahon, and Regal was handed the
title of Federation Commissioner. As commissioner, William Regal would stop at
nothing to ensure that the unruly behavior ended, and as a result, people began
acting polite and courteous at once. Once assisted by his high-flying servant,
"The Japanese Buzzsaw" Tajiri, Regal had many opportunities to drive his point
home with the occasional Regal Cutter or Regal Stretch.
Unfortunately, in October 2001, Regal decided to turn his back on the
Federation, and he joined the Alliance. Linda McMahon decided to immediately
fire Regal as WWE Commissioner, and, in turn, Shane and Stephanie crowned Regal
as the first-ever commissioner of the Alliance. However, after the fall of the
Alliance at Survivor Series 2001, Regal did the unthinkable. He kissed Mr.
McMahon's naked backside on national television to get his job back! Fans still
laugh at recalling Regal's humiliation at the hands of the WWE owner.
However William Regal's in-ring abilities are no laughing matter. Many of
the WWE fans are unaware that Regal is one of the most dangerous men in the
ring. In his earlier days, Regal used his talents as a competent Greco-Roman
wrestler to compete in full-contact martial arts competitions in the streets of
his native England. Regal is a gifted athlete, and he's strung together an
impressive win-loss record over his years in sports entertainment. He is a
former WWE IC Champion, a 4-time WWE European Champion and a 4-time WCW TV
champion, all of these can be tacked on to the huge number of other titles he's
won over the years while competing in more than 20 different countries.
