Here are the character descriptions, the main character descriptions are from
the manual.
Mario

Our merry hero's favirite Item is the mushroom, of course. He runs like the
dickens and can skillfully master any Mini-Game.

Luigi
-----
Mario's younger, yet taller brother is a determined man of many talents. His
Item of choice is the Skeleton Key.

Yoshi

The wide-eyed Yoshi is always full of energy. His favorite Item is the Warp
Block, and he apparently likes all-or-nothing competitions.

Wario

When it comes to Items, Mario's rival prefers the Dueling Glove. His cunning is
unmatched, and he seems to be a master of Duel Mini-Games.

IV. Board Game Info

The Spaces
----------
This section will tell you what happens when you land on a perticular space.
-Blue Spaces: Get 3 Coins
-Red Spaces: Lose 3 Coins
-? Spaces: Different for each adventure board.
-Lightning Bolt Spaces: Battle mini-game between all four players
-Treasure Box Spaces: Item mini-game
-Bank Spaces: If you pass the bank you owe 5 coins, if you land on the bank you
get all of the coins in it. In Bowser Land if you pass it you get 5 coins, and
if you land on it you owe all of the coins that were taken out.
-Star Space: This is where the star that you buy from toad for 20 coins is.
-Bowser Spaces: These are spaces with red bowser faces on them, you get to play
the roulette, most of the time you will get coins taken away.
-Baby Bowser: If you land on, or pass by Baby Bowser, he will take 5 coins away
from you, sometimes he will give you 5 coins, but very rarely.
-Boo Spaces: Boo the ghost can steal coins from someone else for 5 coins, or for
50 coins you can steal a star from someone, in horror land there is big boo, he
can steal coins from everybody for 15 coins, or a star from everybody ofr 150
coins.
-Exclamation Point Spaces: Chance Time! If someone lands here you get chance
time where you can get coins from other players, as well as stars, or you can
also get yours taken away.
-Item Shop Spaces: This space looks like an arrow, it isn't really a space,
because it doesn't count as a move for the number you rolled, it is an Item
shop, where you can buy Items.
Items

Mushroom: With the mushroom you get to roll 2 dice, and move up to 20 spaces, if
you get 2 of the same number, toad will give you 10 coins.Shop Cost=10 coins
Skeleton Key: With the skeleton key, you can unlock locked doors, behind doors
there are usually some goodies, like chance time spaces, or battle mini-games,
or even boo.
Item Shop Cost=10 coins
Dueling Glove: With the dueling glove, you can play a duel mini-game with an
opponent of your choice, and you can choose the amount of coins you are playing
for.
Item Shop Price=15 coins
Plunder Chest: With the plunder chest, you can steal another player's item,
however, you can't choose who to steal it from.
Item Shop Price=15 coins
Warp Block: With the warp block, you can switch placec with another player,
again however, you can't choose which player to switch with.
Item Shop Price=15 coins
Golden Mushroom: With the golden mushroom, you get to roll 3 dice, and could
move up to 30 spaces, if you get 3 of the same number toad will give you 20
coins.
Item Shop Cost=20 coins
Magic Lamp: This is probably the most useful, and most expensive item in the
game, with the magic lamp, the mushroom genie will take you right to the star.
Item Shop Price=30 coins
Boo Bell: With the boo bell, you can call boo over to you, and have him steal
coins for you from another player, or a star from another player.
Item Shop Price=Availible ONLY in item mini-games
Bowser Suit: With the bowser suit, you get to be like bowser, you get to roll 1
dice, and whoever you go by, you can steal coins from them, if you land on baby
bowser, he will give you quite a few coins, because he thinks it's the real
bowser.
Item Shop Price=Alailible ONLY in item mini-games
Bowser Bomb: Before you use this, make sure you are away from baby bowser, when
you use this, it will turn baby bowser into an adult, he will get to roll 3
dice, and when he runs into a player he will take ALL of their coins.

4 Player Mini-Games
===================
-Abandon Ship-
Your boat is sinking, and you need to get climb to the top. Watch out for the
fish that jump up at you, and the pieces of wood sticking out of the poles. Be
the first one to climb to the top before anyone else does, and you win the game!
-Shy Guy Says-
This game is just like Simon Says, hold up the same color flag that Shy Guy
holds up. Watch out, it can get confusing after a while, be the last one
standing and you win the game!
-Totem Pole Pound-
In this game, you do hip drops on totem poles to pound them into the ground. Be
the first one to have your totem pole completely pounded into the ground, and
you win the game!
-Toad in the box-
In this game you hit a little block with your head and try to get Toad's face
to show, you will be raised one level after each time you have Toad's face show
This will get pretty difficult after the first three hits, you will probably
have to start guessing. Be the first one to be raised to level 5 and you win!
-Shell Shocked-
This game is one of my favorite mini-games in Mario Party 2. You are a little
tank, and you have 2 lives, what you do is shoot your opponents, and each time
you hit them, they lose a life, and if you get hit, you lose a life. Be the
last one standind, and you win!
-Platform Peril-
In Platform Peril, you try to jump from platform to platform, without falling
off, watch out for the conveyor belts, the might confuse you (if you are a
beginner). Be the first one to get to the end without falling off and you win
the game!
-Hot Rope Jump-
In this game, you jump over a rope of fire, it is just like jump rope, watch
out, because it can get really fast, and you've got to time your jumps right.
Be the person to last the longest without getting hit by the rope and you win
the game!
-Hexagon Heat-
In Hexagon Heat, Toad will raise a colored flag, whichever color flag he holds
up, get on that same color hexagon, try not to jump too much, because you might
bounce off of someone and go into the lava. Be the person to last the longest
and you win the game!
-Bumper Balls-
This game is also one of my favorites in Mario Party 2. You are standing on a
ball, and what you have to do is knock your opponents off the edge of the ice,
island, or bricks, depending on which scene you are at. Be the last one
standing and you win the game!
-Lava Tile Isle-
In this game you are standing on blocks, 2 blocks will rumble about every 2
seconds, knock your opponents into the lava, and watch out, if you are standing
on a rumbling blick, either move off of it onto another block, or move with it.
Again, be the last one standing and you win the game!
-Mecha Marathon-
This is one of my least favorite mini-games in Mario Party 2. You have 10
seconds to press A+B at the same time as fast as you can, and wind up your
little flying toys. Be the person to have your flying toy fly the farthest and
you win the game!
-Roll Call-
In Roll Call, what you do is you count all of the bombs, boos, or mushrooms,
depending on what scene you are at, watch out for blowing up bombs, fading boos,
and mushrooms that are just planted in the ground. Be the person to have the
number closest to the right amount and you win the game!
-Honeycomb Havoc-
In this game you hit a blick with your head, and take either 1 or 2
fruits/coins, make sure you don't get the honeycomb though, or you're out. Be
the last one standing and you win!
-Slot Car Derby-
In Slot Car Derby, your car is in a slot, and you try to win the race, don't go
too fast on turns, or you will spin out. Be the first one to complete 4 laps
and you win the game!
-Tile Driver-
In Tile Driver, you hip drop tiles to get the picture of koopa, goomba, or boo,
which ever one it shows you to get. Be the first one to get the picture Right,
and you win the game!
-Tipsy Tourney-
In Tipsy Tourney, what you have to do is uncover the picture of toad by rollin a
ball on the covering squares. Be the first one to uncover the picture
completely and you win the game!
-Dizzy Dancing-
In Dizzy Dancing, you get spun around on a record, and you are dizzy (your
controls are sort of reversed), you need to get on the record, and grab the
musical not in the middle. Grab the musical note and you win the game!
-Deep Sea Salvage-
In Deep Sea Salvage, you are in a submarine, and you collect the coins, and coin
bags that the boat above you throws in the water, watch out for the prickly
things. There really is no winner in this game, it's just to get some coins.
-Skateboard Scamper-
In Skateboard Scamper, you are on a Skateboard, and you jump over the rising
platforms, keep up with the screen, of you will be taken out by boo. Be the
first one to cross the finish line and you win the game!
-Bombs Away-
In Bombs Away, you are standing on a small Island, and the Bowser Boat is
shooting cannons at the Island, don't fall off of the Island, watch where the
canons land, and don't get hit by them. Be the last one standing and you win
the game!
-Sneak n' Snore-
In Sneak n' Snore you are in barrels trying to hit the red button and get out
the door, but make sure that you arent going too fast, or when the chain with
the black ball wakes up, you won't have time to hide in your barrel. Be the
first one to get out the door and you win the game!
2 vs. 2 Mini-Games
==================
-Balloon Burst-
In Balloon Burst, what you and your team-mate do, is try to pump up a Bowser
Balloon, by pushing and pulling little pumps. Blow up your balloon first and
your team wins the game!
-Bobsled Run-
This is my favorite 2 vs. 2 game, what you do is push your bobsled to get it
going, then it's like a racing game with bobsleds, drive through the orange
things to speed up, but watch out for sharp turns so you don't fall off. Win
the race and you win the game!
-Destruction Duet-
In Destruction Duest, what you and your team-mate try to do is destroy a statue
by punching and kicking it, kicks take a little longer, but they are more
powerful. Be the first team to blow up the statue and you win the game!
-Toad Bandstand-
In Toad Bandstand, Toad will play some music, and you press A when the little
ractangle gets to your note, if you don't a nut will fall on your head, it won't
do anything though, it will just symbolize that you made a mistake. Be the team
to make the least mistakes and you win the game!
-Torpedo Targets-
In Torpedo Targets, you are in little submarine like things underwater, one
person steers, and one person shoots the torpedos, each target you hit gets you
1. Be the team to hit the most targets and you win the game!
-Speed Hockey-
In Speed Hockey, one person is in the front, and one is in the back, what you do
is try to knock the puck into the other teams goal, and you get one point. Be
the team to score 3 first, or have the most when time runs out and you win the
game!
-Handcar Havoc-
In Handcar Havoc, you try to press A as fast as you can to get your handcar
going fast, you a on a little track, use left and right to lean left or right.
Be the first team to cross the finish line and you win the game!
-Looney Lumberjacks-
In Lumberjacks, you press A then B, make sure you press the buttons at the right
time, or the saw wont cut the wood. Be the first team to chop the round peice
of wood off and you win the game!
-Cake Factory-
In Cake Factory, one person puts cakes on a plate, and one person puts
strawberries on, one strawberry goes on one cake, don't put a cake on a cake, of
a cake on a strawberry or it won't count. Be the team with the most cakes at
the end of the time limit and you win the game!
-Magnet Carta-
In Magnet Carta, you and your team-mate are in little cars with magnets in front
of them, and you try to get coins. The single coins are worth 1 coin, the bags
are worth 5 coins, and the treasure chest is worth 10 coins. There really is no
winner in this game, it's just to get coins.
-Dungeon Dash-
In Dungeon Dash, you press left then right with your analog stick, if you mess
up you fall, watch out for the blue blocks that drop down. Be the first team to
get out the door and you win the game!
1 vs. 3 Mini-Games
==================
Note: In the descriptions for this section, it is as if you are the 1.
-Crane Game-
In Crane game the 1 is trying to lift the other 3 into the pipe, the 3 can shake
off though, there are also clicks for extra time. Get all 3 opponents into the
pipe and you win the game!
-Bowl Over-
BOWLING!!! The 1 gets to go bowling with a koopa shell, and trys to knock down
the opponents, which are pins. Knock down all 3 opponents and you win the game!
-Archer-ival-
In Archer-ival, you try to knock down all 3 opponents by shooting arrows at
them, if you shoot Bowser or Boo, you get some coins. Knock down all 3
opponents and you win the game!
-Shock Drop or Roll-
In Shock Drop or Roll, you push and pull a lever, which makes a rolling thing go
left or right, try to knock your opponents into the electricity things. Make
all of your opponents fall off and you win the game!
-Move to the Music-
In Move to the music, you press either left, right, up down, Z, A, or B, to do
dancing moves, the other charachters have to memorize the buttons, if they mess
up they are out. Get all of your opponents out and you win the game!
-Filet Relay-
In Filet Relay, you try to beat 3 opponents, by carrying a fish to the finish
line, watch out for the snowballs that fall down. Be the first one to the
finish line and you win the game.
-BOB-OMB Barrage-
In BOB-OMB Barrage, you are in a small round boat, and your opponents try to
throw bombs in your boat to blow it up. Last the whole time limit without
getting blown up by a bomb and you win the game!
-Look Away-
In Look away, you try to look the same way as your opponents to try to get them
out, you have 5 chances to get them out. Get all 3 opponents out and you win
the game!
-Quicksand Cache-
In Quicksand Cache, you are in the middle dressed up as Bowser, and you spin the
quicksand either left or right, spin it the opposite way that your opponent are
going, and it will be harder for them to get to the coins. There is no way to
win this game, it is just to get some coins.
-Lights Out-
In Lights Out, you have a hammer that you can either swing horizontal, or
vertical, to knock your opponents out. Knock all of your opponents out and you
win the game!
Item Mini-Games
===============
In Item mini games there are 5 items that you can get to help you out on a board
game, there is also a baby Bowser, which you want to watch out for.
-Roll out the Barrels-
In Roll out the barrels, the 6 things are in barrels, they get mixed up, and
when they stop you go over to one and punch it, or hip drop it. Roll out the
barrels is the item mini-game in Pirate Land.
-Give me a Brake-
In Give me a brake, there is a train going around you, you get to pull a lever,
and when you pull the lever the train stops, there will be an arrow, and
whichever car on the train the arrow points to, you get whatever is in that car.
Give me a brake is the item mini-game in Western Land.
-Mallet-Go-Round-
In Mallet-Go-Round, there is a train like thing that is going around, like in
Give me a Brake, there are two boxes holding up the 5 items, and only one
holding up Baby Bowser, you have a mallet in your hand, and whenever you hit a
box, it knocks it out of the way. Mallet-Go-Round is the item mini-game in
Mystery Land.
-Hammer Slammer-
In Hammer Slammer, you have a hammer, and you lift it up as much as you want,
and then you hit the thing that launches that rocket up, and whatever the rocket
stops on, you get that item. Hammer Slammer is the item mini-game in Space
Land.
-Coffin Congestion-
Coffin Congestion is kind of like Roll out the Barrels, the items and Baby
Bowser get mixed up in the coffins, and after that is all done, you go over to a
coffin and punch it. Coffin Congestion is the item mini-game in Horror Land.
-Bowser Slots-
In Bowser slots, it is just like a slot machine, with only items on it, NO BABY
BOWSER! You hit a slot with your head, and try to match it on the other two
slots, they get faster after each hit. Bowser Slots is the item mini-game found
in Bowser Land.
Battle Mini-Games
=================
In Battle Mini-Games, everybody gives 10, 20, 30, 40, or even 50 coins each, and
the 1st and 2nd placers get coins, the 1st placer gets the most of course,
sometimes, if there is an odd number of coins if someone didn't have enough, 1
coin is thrown, and the 3rd or 4th placers can get it. It's probably pretty
obvious, but Battle Mini-Games are all 4 player games.
-Face Lift-
Face Lift is a really fun battle mini-game, a face of a character gets all
messed up, and you have to make it look as close as you can to it in the time
limit, be the person to get the closest and you win the game!
-Day at the Races-
In Day at the Races, there are four characters getting ready to race, the big
grey block, the blue block, the bomb, and boo. You bet on who you think is
going to win, the people who bet on the first and scond placers get coins!
-Bumper Balloon Cars-
In Bumper Balloon Cars, you have a car with spikes on the front, and a balloon
on the back, the object is to pop your opponents' balloons. Be the last person
in the car without your baloon popped and you win the game!
-Crazy Cutters-
In Crazy Cutters, you have a jackhammer, and you need to cut as close to the
line as you can on the shape, the closer you get, the more points you get. Be
the player to get the most points and you win the game!
-Rakin em' in-
In Rakin em' in, you have a crane, what you have to do is get the mushrooms in
your basket, the golden mushrooms are worth 3, the orange mushrooms are worth 1,
and the purple mushrooms are worth -1. Be the person with the highest score at
the end of the time limit and you win the game!
-Bowser's Big Blast-
In Bowsers Big Blast, you push a pump like thing, and if you hit the one that
blows up the Bowser Bomb, you're out, the object is to try not to blow up the
Bowser Bomb. Be the last one standing and you win the game!
-Grab Bag-
In Grab Bag, everybody has a bag on their back with mushrooms in it, what you do
is you go around stealing mushrooms from other peoples' bags, but watch out for
the ones trying to get you. Be the person with the most mushrooms at the end of
the time limit and you win the game!
-Hot BOB-OMB-
Hot BOB-OMB is just like hot potatoe, but you don't have to pass it in a circle,
you can pass it to anybody you want, if the bomb blows up in your hands, you're
out. Be the last one standing and you win the game!
Duel Mini-Games
===============
You can either play Duel Mini-Games by landing on the same spot as someone else
during the last 5 turn, or by having a Dueling Glove. This may also be pretty
obvious, but Duel Mini-Games are 1 vs. 1 Mini-Games.
-Saber Swipes-
In Saber Swipes, you and your opponent both have swords, there are controls at
the top that you have to press. Whoever presses them all the quickest without
messing up wins the game! Saber Swipes is the Duel Mini-Game in Pirate Land.
-Quick Draw-
In Quick Draw, both you and your opponent have guns, there is a 3 2 1 countdown,
and you draw your guns at the end of the countdown. Be the one to draw the
quickest and you win the game! Quick Draw is the Duel Mini-Game in Western
Land.
-Psychic Safari-
In Psychic Safari, you press A and B as fast as you can to power up your
mushroom boulder, the object is to power your mushroom boulder up more than your
opponents'. Be the person with the most powered up mushroom boulder and you win
the game! Psychic Safari is the Duel Mini-Game in Mystery Land.
-Time Bomb-
In Time Bomb, you will be given an amount of time be Goomba, when the voice says
"start," start counting that amount of time, when you get to that amount of
time, push te pump on your bomb. Be the one to get closest to the time the
Goomba gave you and you win the game! Time Bomb is the Duel Mini-Game in Space
Land.
-Mushroom Brew-
In Mushroom Brew, there will be little cloud thing that pop up and tell you to
press either A, B, or Z, and you have to press that button, try not to mess up
though. Be the one to mess up the lease and a star will pop up out of the brew
and you win the game! Mushroom Brew is the Duel Mini-Game in Horror Land.
-Rock, Paper, Mario-
Rock, Paper, Mario is like Rock, Paper, Scissors, Mario beats Bowser, Peach
Beats Mario, and Bowser beats Peach. Be the person to win and you win the game
(that didn't really make sense, did it?)! Rock, Paper, Mario is the Duel Mini-
Game in Bowser Land.

VI. Items

Items can help you a lot on board games, like teleport you to the star, get you
more coins, you can even steel other players' items with the plunder chest.
Mushroom

With the bowser suit, you get to be like bowser, you get to roll 1 dice, and
whoever you go by, you can steal coins from them, if you land on baby bowser, he
will give you quite a few coins, because he thinks it's the real bowser.

Before you use this, make sure you are away from baby bowser, when you use this,
it will turn baby bowser into an adult, he will get to roll 3 dice, and when he
runs into a player he will take ALL of their coins.
