Whaaaaaat's Uupppppp!!!!!! Whew! I feel a lot better! Hey! It's The
Ruzz back in action! I haven't written a FAQ since February and now I
finally got the urge to write another FAQ. Now I'm doing one on the
recently released game, BOMBERMAN 64: THE SECOND ATTACK. I will
provide all my knowledge about this game. Right now I'm at the last
level and I'm still trying to defeat the half-bad, half-good angel.
I'll tell you about it in the walkthrough. Oh yeah, if you want
information from my FAQ, please E-Mail me and let me know. Okey-dokey!
Let's get on with my FAQ!
************
2.What's New
************
6/13/00-I officially started my FAQ today
*******
3.Story
*******
This is from the instruction booklet.
Of the great discoveries in the universe, few are more important than
the legendary eight elements. When the evil Rukifellth found one of
these elements, the powerful Celestial Stone, he used his influence to
assemble the dreaded BHB Army. Armed with his new army and a giant
space warship, the powercrazed Rukifellth began scouring the galaxy
for the other seven elements, invading planets and enslaving innocent
races throughout the galaxy. Rukifellth controls these enslaved
planets with special Gravity Generators, the same devices the BHB Army
used to create a Black Hole. Rukifellth uses his Black Hole to capture
new planets, but he should have thought twice before he tried to
capture Bomber Planet. After celebrating his recent victory over
Altair, Bomberman was returning from his trip to Hot Springs Planet
Ksa2 when his Bomber Craft drifted into Rukifellth's Black Hole. Now,
with the help of his newfound companion Pommy, Bomberman must disband
the BHB Army, destroy the Black Hole and save the eight elements from
the evil Rukifellth.

4.Controls
**********
Control Stick/Control Pad-Use this to move Bomberman. If you're second
player, you control Pommy.
A-Use this button to plant bombs. If you have the power to kick, a
bomb, plant a bomb and press A again to kick. If you're second
player, you make Pommy attack.
B-This button is used to pick up items, bombs, or knocked out enemies
if you have the power to carry stuff, (Glove). If you hold B while
carrying a bomb, it will pump up and make a bigger, longer explosion,
just like in the first Bomberman 64. This can be very helpful if
you're fighting a lot of enemies.
C-Up-Use this to call Pommy
C-Right, Left, Down-Press these buttons to switch to different types of
bombs
Z/L-If you have Remote Control, use this to make a bomb explode
whenever you want. However, you can't use this power when you're
fighting an Astral Knight or in a Gravity Generator room.
R-After you've kicked a bomb, press this button to stop it.

5.The Elemental Stones
**********************
Fire Stone
This is Planet Bomber's sacred stone and the stone you start out with.
Using this stone makes Bomberman use the classic Fire Bombs. They
explode in the famous "+" formation.
Water Stone
To get this stone you must defeat Behemos. This will allow Bomberman
to use the Ice Bombs! This bomb will freeze your enemies and freeze
water or lava, allowing you to walk on it.
Wind Stone
Defeat Ashtarth to get this stone. Bomberman will be able to use the
Hurricane Bombs. These bombs can be used to blow Bomberman across
large gaps. Bomberman won't stop until he hits something.
Lightning Stone
Zhael holds this stone. Defeat her and you'll be able to use the
Lightning Bombs. Use this bomb to destroy machines, or get them to
start working.
Earth Stone
Defeat Molok to receive this stone. The Navarm Bomb is the powerful
version of the Fire Bomb. The explosion is bigger and can melt steel.
It can also break through tough objects.
Light Stone
Zoniha holds this stone. The Light Bomb will make an object stop for a
little while. You'll need this is some levels.
Shadow Stone
My favorite one. Bulzeeb is the holder. The Shadow Bomb creates a
black hole so strong, it sucks all the enemies in and kills them
instantly. Bomberman can also use this to suck in large heavy doors
that block the way.
Celestial Stone
This is the stone Rukifellth holds and is the strongest out of all the
stones. You don't get to keep it for which Rukifellth uses it to
awaken his "true" form.
***************************
6.Bomberman/Friends/Enemies
***************************
Bomberman
The star of the game. (Duh! The game is named after him!) He must
foil Rukifellth's plans and save the planets and himself from the Black
Hole.
Pommy
This is Bomberman's cute and cuddly partner. Pommy is smart and
helpful. Although a bit timid, Pommy doesn't help Bomberman when
fighting an Astral Knight or in a Gravity Generator room.
Lilith
She is known as "The Scourge of the Spaceways." Lilith is in the Black
Hole also for the search of The Elemental Stones. But, there is
something fishy about her.
The Astral Knights
(Crimson Flame) Baelfael
Baelfael is the first Knight you face. He is quite easy. He uses
fire-based attacks.
(Lord of the Frozen Wastes) Behemos
Behemos concentrates on his freezing attacks. He has an ice gun
attached on his right arm, which he uses to shoot out ice. He holds
the Water Stone
(Lord of the Winds) Ashtarth
Ashtarth uses his brutal wind attacks to tear his opponents apart. He
may be working for Rukifellth, but he is an honest opponent... He
holds the Wind stone.
(Mistress of the Storm) Zhael
She is a tough enemy for a girl. Her electric attacks can be a pain.
She holds the Thunder Stone.
(The Raging Earth) Molok
Molok is a very muscular Knight. He uses lava power to demolish his
opponents or toss them into oblivion. He holds the Earth Stone.
(The Purifying Light) Zoniha
She can be a pain at times. She also isn't afraid to show her male
counterparts. She can defeat her opponents in a flash. She holds the
Light Stone.
(The Black Breath) Bulzeeb
Bulzeeb has known Bomberman for a long time. He is the strongest of
all the Knights, (except Rukifellth). In the end, Bomberman will learn
that Bulzeeb is another person, someone who "helped him" on Planet
Bomber. He holds the Shadow Stone.
(The Dark Messenger) Rukifellth
Rukifellth is the founder and the leader of the BHB Army. His goal is
to collect all eight Elemental Stones. But he must defeat Bomberman to
accomplish his goal on revealing his "true" form. He holds the
Celestial Stone.

7.Items
*******
Bomb-Up-Collect this to increase the number of bombs Bomberman can
plant. (Lv.0-3)
Number of Bombs you can set for:
Fire Bomb-4
Ice Bomb-3
Hurricane Bomb-3
Lightning Bomb-4
Navarm Bomb-1
Light Bomb-1
Shadow Bomb-1
Bomb-Down-This is a bomb that has an X on it. If you collect these,
Bomberman's bomb level goes down.
Fire-Up-This is a fireball with a face on it. Collect this to increase
the explosion of a bomb. (Lv.0-3)
Fire-Down-This is a blue fireball with a gloomy face. Collect this and
Bomberman's fire level goes down.
Remote Control-This item is a heart with a bomb inside. It can be very
helpful because you can make Bomberman's bombs explode whenever you
wish by pressing Z.
Kick Bomb-This item is a bomb being kicked. With this power, Bomberman
will be able to kick bombs. (Duh.)
Throw Ability-Collect a glove to be able to throw bombs. If you hold
B, Bomberman will be able to pump the bomb. You can also pick up other
stuff.

8.Walkthrough
*************
Finally, the section you've all been waiting for. I'll only do some
levels as of right now I'm still trying to memorize what to do in each
level. (I don't have the computer in my room.)
***********************************************************************
Lost Planet Alcatraz
***********************************************************************
After the cinema, go left and down the stairs. Defeat the two guards
to open the door. Destroy the crates if you want items. Go through
the door and you'll end up in a slightly flooded room. You can destroy
the rats to make this easier. Drop down to the flooded part and
destroy the gate using a bomb. Now go through. In this room, you'll
be in some kind of sewer pipe. Be careful! When you're bombs explode
the fire twists! Continue forward to a pipe with water running out.
Since Bomberman can't swim, climb up the ladder and go left and through
the door. Destroy the bats if you have to. Here, just destroy the
enemies to open the door. You can collect a Glove in one of the
crates. Climb the ladder and go through the door. You'll find the
machine that's making the water run through the pipe you ran in to. If
you destroy it, you can go deeper into the sewers! But...you must get
through Baelfael first.
Baelfael is the first Astral Knight you fight. If it's your first time
playing this game, it might take a few tries to defeat him. Just avoid
his fire kick and when he charges at you, plant a bomb and get out of
the way and when Baelfael hits the bomb, he'll get hit. Repeat this
and you'll finally defeat him. After he tells you about the other
knights, he'll leave. Then "The Scourge of the Spaceways" we'll make
her grand entrance. She'll tell you about the other stones and she was
also captured in the Black Hole. After she leaves, Bomberman has
something else on his mind. (snickers).
Now, destroy the machine and the water will stop running! Now go all
the way back and into the pipe. Here, you'll have to climb a series of
ladders to get to the door. Destroy the two guards to open it. Now
you'll be on a bridge. Pump your bombs and destroy the two guns that
block your way. Go up and push the block and through the door opening.
There are pipes on the floor and a switch. But the opening is being
blocked by very hard running water. Remember this place. To open the
next door, climb the ladder, (watch out for the rats), and hit the
switch with your bomb. In the next room, destroy the two guns to open
the door. In the next room, you'll see a machine. Destroy that and
the running water in the other room will stop running, allowing
Bomberman to reach the switch. First, destroy the guard to open the
door. Backtrack all the way to that room and step on the switch. Now,
the door in the machine room will open. Go through and onto the
Gravity Generator room.
Since it's the first level, it should be very, very, very easy. I
don't think I have to explain how to pass this level. Anyway, after
you break the generator, you'll have access to the next two levels.
Hooray! You passed the first level! Now you have a choice to go to
Ocean Planet Aquanet, or Sky Planet Horizon.
***********************************************************************
Ocean Planet Aquanet
***********************************************************************
Welcome to the beautiful water world Aquanet. Of course, this is
planet full of water. After you land there, go into the elevator next
to you. In this room, kill the froggies and blast away the two pillars
which should reveal a switch. Go through the open door and destroy the
enemies to open the door. Before you go through, step on the switch
next to the entrance. That will make the pillars on the right lower.
Use your bomb to blast open the glass, making water from the other room
drain out. Go through the opening and step on the switch in the next
room. That will cause the door in that room to open. Go back to the
other room and go back to the other room through the other door. Fight
your way through the enemies and go through the door. Pommy will
comment on how beautiful the water is and they should go take a swim.
But, Bomberman can't swim!? Go down the stairs and destroy the two
dragon heads with water running out to continue on. Kill the octopus
in the jar, (you have to.) Now destroy the other set of dragon heads
and the water will drain. YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO DOWN THERE AND GO
THROUGH THE NEW DOOR. That just leads to a room full of items. The
reason you do this is to get to the blowfish and kill it to open the
door. In here, just destroy all the crabs to open the door. Now
here's a tough thing to do. The room is flooded and there are three
small floating platforms. One with a lever. Pump up a bomb and if you
can, try to throw it on to the platform closest to the switch. The
explosion should be big enough to hit it. This will cause two dragon
heads to appear in the previous room. Go back and destroy the two
heads to make the water stop running in the next room, unflooding the
area. Go back, down the stairs and hit the dragon head with it's mouth
open with a bomb. Remember that one room with a pillar with a dragon
face on it? This will cause that door to open. Backtrack all the way
back to that room and enter the door, or elevator. It will take you
all the way down to the boss arena where you fight Behemos!
After you've taken care of him, you'll receive the Water Stone! This
will allow you to use Ice Bombs. This can be very helpful when it
comes to water or lava.
Go through the newly opened door and you'll have another conversation
with Lilith. When the conversation is done, continue on through the
door. Here, destroy all the enemies to open the door. Before you do,
freeze the fountain and destroy it with the fire bomb. It will cause
to make the stairs come down in the next room. Continue on to the next
room and again, destroy all the enemies to open the door. Go down and
use an Ice Bomb to freeze the water making a bridge to the other side.
Now follow the path up the stairs into the next room. Wait for the
moving platform to reach your side and go on. Watch out for the
shooting water. Once at the other side, continue to the Gravity
Generator room.
This is tricky, yet easy. The catch is the switches that you must
destroy are protected by their own shields! Here's what you have to
do. Step on a switch to make one of the shields to turn red. Freeze
it with your ice bomb and then blow it up with the fire bomb. Repeat
and you're out of there.
***********************************************************************
Sky Planet Horizon
***********************************************************************
At the start, you'll see three holes. You'll need to use this in this
level, but not now. Go west and you'll enter another area. Destroy
the enemies and then push the statues onto the four switches. (It
doesn't matter which one.) After that is done, the door will open. In
the next room, you'll have to be very careful. There are holes on the
ground, some you may not see. To avoid falling, destroy the snake
statue blocking the path. Follow the path slowly. Make sure you
_watch_ the path carefully. If you keep pressing forward you'll run
into the hole. Make your way up the path to the top and you'll finally
get the Blue Crystal Ball. After you receive it, two snakes will
appear. You must destroy them to open the door. Before you leave, the
stone next to where you got the Crystal Ball has Remote Control. It'll
be a lot easier with this.
Now head back into the starting area and put the ball into one of the
holes. Head east into another area. Destroy all the enemies to open
the door. In here, kill the snake and destroy the torch blocking the
stairs. Walk down and kill all the stone warriors and receive the
other Blue Crystal Ball. Go back to the starting area and put that
ball into the hole. This will cause a wall blocking a path to
disappear. Go north this time and go through the new path. Just as
you thought no one was here, you were wrong. Meet Ashtarth.
After the funny cinema on receiving the Wind Stone, go up the stairs
and through the unlocked door. Now you'll be in some kind of dark
place with torches. The first thing you want to do is plant a
Hurricane Bomb next to you and stand on the right of it. You will be
blasted over the gap onto the other platform. Go through the door.
Here you're crossing a bridge with two rams. Kill them to get them out
of the way and cross the bridge through the door. Lilith will appear
and talk to you about Rukifellth then she'll disappear. Now, go up the
right stairs and step on the switch. This will make the right door
open in the dark room. Now go up the left stairs and step on that
switch. That will make the left door open in that same room. Now go
back. I'll start with the left room. Pump up a bomb to destroy those
stone warriors. Go up the right stairs and step on that switch. Go to
the other side and step on the other switch. This will make the Green
Crystal Ball appear. You can't get past the block blocking the stairs
from the ground. So, go up the stairs and fall on the block and go get
that stone. Plant a Hurricane Bomb to get over the block. Now exit.
Hurricane Bomb you to the other side and go inside. Kill all the
enemies to open the door on the other side. Here, you have to put the
statues on the proper switches. Put the last statue on the first
switch; second statue on the third, third on second and fourth on
third. This will make the statues appear on the floating platforms.
Use the statues to stop yourself when you blow yourself across to the
other platform. Once you get to the third platform, you'll need good
timing for the last platform is going up and down. When you feel it's
the right time, blow yourself on the platform. Use your timing again
once you get to the top and blow yourself onto the platform with the
next Green Crystal Ball! Now go back to the room where you talked to
Lilith and put the two balls onto any of the stands. That will make an
elevator come up. Walk inside and you'll be in a room where tiles
break as you blow up a bomb. Walk down and get the last Green Crystal
Ball. Kill all the enemies to open the door to the elevator and set
down the last crystal ball. Now the platform with the Red Crystal Ball
will come down, allowing you to get it. Once you get it, go all the
way back to the starting area and put the red ball into the hole in
between the two blue ones. The door will open in the room with the
green crystals. Go there and enter the Gravity Generator room.
This is a tough one. What's making it hard is the enemies. Also you
have to experiment a little. Here's what you do.
First, blast yourself up the escalator on front of you. Do the same
with the one west of you. Pump up a bomb and throw it on the platform
above you. You might want to go down the elevator a little. After
that, blast yourself up the escalator again and blast yourself again
east. Make sure your aligned with the switch. Destroy that and then
throw a bomb into the opening north of you. Bomberman should be able
to throw it right next to the switch. For the last one, drop down to
the left of you and pump up a bomb. Go down the elevator a little and
if you can, throw the bomb on the platform to your left. If you make
it, you'll hit the switch. Now blast yourself all the way to the top
and destroy the generator. Congratulations! Now you have a choice to
go to Game Planet Starlight, or Nature Planet Neverland.
**************************
9.Guardian Armor Locations
**************************
Here, I will describe all the locations and how to get them.
Note: ONCE YOU GET AN ARMOR PIECE, YOU MUST EXIT THE LEVEL THROUGH THE
GRAVITY GENERATOR ROOM. IF YOU EXIT MANUALLY, YOU'LL LOSE THE PIECE.
Guardian Helmet-It's located on Neverland. Go to the room with a steel
block with a swirling black design on it. Use a Shadow Bomb to break
it. Now use an Ice Bomb and freeze the lava so you can be able to go
in the door. Inside is the armor.
Guardian Mail-It's located on Horizon. Go to the area where you had to
put the statues on proper switches. Go up the east stairs. This
requires level 3 fire and Remote Control. Throw a Lightning Bomb,
(doesn't need to be pumped), and blow it up in mid-air. The pillar
blocking the door will disappear. Now use a Hurricane Bomb and blast
yourself through the door.
Guardian Sleeves-They are located on Aquanet. Make sure you have the
Navarm Bomb. Go east and destroy the pillars one of them is steel.
Use a Navarm Bomb to melt it and go through the door on the left.
Guardian Boots-They are located on Starlight. There is a statue
blocking the door in the second room. Defeat Zhael and the statue will
disappear. It's in there.
