2. BASIC COMMANDS/RULES
=======================

So Mickey and Donald came to a magic world to test their magic skills! Again!

This game has 3 adventures in one. It's because the game changes depending on
what character you're using. There are 3 possibilities:
1- 1 Player Game, as Mickey
2- 1 Player Game, as Donald
3- 2 Player Game

If you're playing a 2 Player game, it doesn't matter what character each
player chooses.

There are almost no differences between the characters (Mickey and Donald)
except that Donald can't acess some places that Mickey normally can. In this
case, Donald can follow another path or, in a 2 Player Game, Mickey helps him
by pulling him.

About the commands, you can change them in the main menu (see section 3 of
this FAQ), but I'll use the default commands:
A Button: Action
B Button: Attack
C Button: Jump

Note on A Button: The game calls this button the "Run" button, but in 2
Player game it is used for team work too.

============
3. MAIN MENU
============
After the Press Start screen and the story scene you'll be presented the Main
Menu, with Goof guiding your cursor. Use the D-Pad to move the cursor and C
to confirm any selection. If you enter in any submenu, you can back with B
button. Start button will start the game.

Player:   If you press C button you'll be able to select how many players
will be playing the game (if a second controller is present).
Press C again to confirm the number, then choose the character for
the first player. If you have selected a 2-Player game, the other
character will be automatically the 2nd player.

Password: From here you can enter any password given to you in the Game Over
screen. Press C to go to the next card and Down + C to go back to
the previous card. Use the D-Pad to move the cursor and B button
to back to the Main Menu.

Sound:    This is the Music/Voice test. Press C to hear the next music/voice
and Down + C the hear the previous. There's a total of 27 musics
(including jingles) and 6 voices (3 for Mickey and 3 for Donald).
Press B to go back to the Main Menu.

Control:  Here you can customize the A, B and C buttons. This is valid only
for the game itself, not for the menu control. Unlike other games,
World of Illusion allows a customize for player 1 and a totally
         different customize for player 2!

=====================================
4. ACTIONS, PERFORMANCES AND TEAMWORK
=====================================

This is what makes the game more interesting!

-Actions
The simple actions for Mickey and Donald.
Attack: Press B button to do an attack with your sheet. If the sheet covers
the enemy, this enemy will be transformed in a flower or an animal
(no, Dr Eggman isn't in this game). Sometimes it doesn't work and
the enemy just freezes and flashes. In this case, keep trying until
       it works.
The attack can be performed even if you are jumping or crouched.
Jump:   Press C button to jump.

-Performances
These can be permormed by anyone at anytime.
Running: Hold A button and press the D-Pad left or right to run.
Crouched Walk: Hold the D-Pad down and C button together.

-Teamwork
This is only for 2-Player game!
WJump: Just make a character step on the other character's head and then
      jump again.

Cord: If you're in the edge of the ground and your pal is under you, press
and hold A button to throw a cord, so your pal will be able to climb
     it.
Pull: Sometimes Donald stucks in some places while permorming the crouched
walk (this is not a bug). If Mickey passes trough the place where
Donald is stuck, he can pull his pall with A button.

=================
5. ON-SCREEN INFO
=================

Red cards: These are Mickey's healty. If an enemy hits him, he'll lose a
          card.

Blue cards: Same as above, but for Donald.

Tries: This is the number of lives you currently have. If one of the
players loses all his healty (his cards) he'll lose a life. Note that
in 1-player game you start with 3 tries, and in 2-player game you
do with 6 tries. Also, note that in 2-player game both the players
use this number. It means that if any player loses all the tries, Game
Over, even if the other player didn't lose any try. This is why
teamwork is important for 2-player game. But if your pal is a great
      stupid, then you can...

**Switch from 2 players mode to 1 player mode**
In 2-players game, if you lose all the tries but one, a screen will appear
asking if you want to continue the game in 1-player mode. If you choose "No"
(default) your pal will reapear in the screen and if one of you lose the last
try, Game Over! But if you select "Yes", you'll be able to select a character
for yourself procced alone, without the second player. Personally I think
this option is very annoying becuase you can't switch back to 2-players mode.

========
6. ITEMS
========

-Candy
This gives one point (card) in the healty of who get it.

-Piece of Cake
This will turn things a piece of cake, because they'll make full the
healty of who get it.

-Hat
A rare one! It gives you an extra try (life)!!

-Blue and white card
This will give temporary invencibility to the one who get it. The character
will be flashing with cards sppining in him. When the invencibility is about
to end, the cards disappear; and when it ends, the character stops flashing.

-Ordinary card
Thanks to Danny Stevenson now I know the function of these cards! If you
collect 52 of them you'll get an extra try (life).

=========================
7. WALKTROUGHT (finally!)
=========================

As I said before, this game depends on what character you're using! The first
stage is alike for any choices. Changes start at the second area. The
third area is almost alike any other too. Then, when you pass to the second
part of the level, look for what character you're using to procced.

**Level 1

You start in a beautifull field. Start by walking fowards and be carefull
after the tree because enemies start appearing here! These enemies are ant
guards who only start moving when you approach them.

Once you see some leafs togheter in the ground, attack them before they
turn into an enemy! The first "?" item is a piece of cake. Use the crouch
walk to get it. After you get that, a bird enemy will appear. He'll try to
attack you when he came near. Avoid him by running fowards!

After that part, your first teamwork will begin (if you're playing in
2-players mode, sure). Just use the cord (stand near of the edge and press A)
to help your friend to climb up. Between those "?" items are ordinary cards
only. Keep going up.

Once you get enough upper, go left to get a candy. Then, procced right until
you finish the level.

-Second part, Mickey (flowers field)
This is not hard! Just keep jumping in the platform-flowers and the
 petals will lead you.

-Second part, Donald (leafs field)
You'll start in the same place as Mickey, but the first flower will
shoot you in the leafs field. Just use the leaf-shapped floating platforms.
Note that you don't need to press the D-Pad while jumping if you're in a
 floating platform.

-Second part, 2-Player (Treasure Mine)
Here you'll have a lot of teamwork! Mickey'll start by having to pull
Donald (see section 4 to learn how to do it). Procced until you see a
strange mine cart. Here, Mickey should be in one side and Donald in the
other side to do this teamwork. Each player has to press Down when it's
his/her turn. Eg: player 1 press Down, then player 2 press Down, then
player 1 again, and so on.

After the second part, you'll be in the Treasure Mine. Start by jumping in
the ground above you to get a candy. Be carefull in this mine, if you step
in the middle of an old net, you'll fall for your death. Sometimes you'll
find a friendly spider who leaves a net while walking. Just walk trought the
net and be carefull not to fall. If you're playing in 2-player mode and one
of the players fall, the other will have to continue without the fallen one;
in the end of the stage this one will meet the fallen player.

The boss is a giant spider. You'll have to hit it many times. You CAN'T hit
it while it is in the back of the stage (it can't hit you either).

**Level 2

Once you start the level your character will say Alakazam and a magic carpet
will appear (Donald's 'alakazam' speech is so funny!). The first player to
enter in the magic carpet will ride it. Use the D-Pad to control it: left
to decrase its speed and right to acellerate. Press the jump button to make
it fly higher. If you don't press the button, it'll fall.
Hint: before you complete this part, behind the blue cloud, you'll find a
hat!!

-Second part, Mickey (raining desert)
Just don't let the thunders hit you. If a thunder hits the ground, it'll
create a walking flame (back to Fantasia...) wich can be destroyed with
your sheet. After this area, hold A and right to run and don't even think
in release these buttons. In the third area, step in any block. If you step
too long in a block, it'll disappear, then step in another block and then
in another, and another, and so on. In the end, you'll have to step in a
static block, else you'll have to restart this area.

-Second part, Donald (bonus level)
This is a bit hard... Just press the C button to jump. Don't fall in the
water! There'll be a part where you'll need to leave your leaf and run
 (A + D-pad) right.

-Second part, 2-Player (old west)
This part gives a lot of headache! Because a player have to step in the
other player's head in order to reach those high platforms, and then throw
the cord. The problem here is that players tend to argue to see who'll step
in who's head! This part isn't hard at all... Honestly, it's easier than
 the previous one!

After this all you'll be in the heavens! This is a cool part for 1-player
game, but it's terrible if you're playing with a friend! Just step in the
clouds with face and they will move.

The boss is a lot of dragoons who shoot fireballs. These dragoons can be
defeated with only one hit, but there are many! It's very easy in 2-player
mode, tought, as if one dragoon go left, the next one will go right; and if
you leave each player in a different position, they'll be able to hit the
dragoons before they shoot!

**Level 3

You'll start in the deep sea, inside a bubble. Use the D-pad to control and
jump button to go up (just like in the previous magic carpet level). There's
not much to say here...

-Second part, Mickey (submarine cave)
Use the crouch walk to pass trought the block and enter in the submarine
 cave.

-Second part, Donald (desert islands)
This is a lot harder than Mickey's submarine cave! Step in the boats. But
some of them tend to sink if you don't leave them!! Note that you can also
 step in the palmtrees...

-Second part, 2-players (submarine castle)
Use the crouch walk to pass trought the block and enter in the submarine
cave. Then, pull Donald. As you do this, an earthquake will cause the
submarine cave to turn into the submarine castle (!?). This is a regular
level without secrets, so there isn't too many to say here...
There's an area where Mickey and Donald have to jump in a strange veicle
wich will cause the ceiling to sink! In this part, hold A + right in both
controllers or else you'll lose two tries and will have to start the
 submarine castle all again!

After all you'll enter in a deep ship. Don't step in the part of the ground
with fissures, except in the upper ground (if you do so there, you'll even
get a hat!). Some tridents fall after you pass them, and others fall before.
Just wait in front of it, and it it doesn't fall, procced!

The boss is a shark. You can't hit it while it's under the ship. Just wait
for it came trying to snack you, hit it, and run for your cards (healt)!
Also, the shark can jump while it is under the ship, and you can hit it
while it is jumping (but it can hit you too).

**Level 4

You start jumping out of the aquarium... What!? The cave, the ship, the
islands... It was just an aquarium!!? Anyways, this fourth stage is more
a field than a stage. If you're playing alone as Mickey, just look for the
Cookies box. If you're playing alone as Donald, look for the alphabet book.
Abd if you're playing in 2-P mode, look for the present box. You can use
the mirrors to teleport to another place, don't forget!

-Second part, Donald (the alphabet book)
Just go up and down the book hills and be carefull not to hit a rock!

-Second part, 2-Player (the present box)
Is it x-mas? Doesn't matter! Don't try to get the presents becuase they're
enemies in desguise (they'll show up once you approach, and that's your
chance to hit them). You can find a blue and white card in the christmas
tree. In the ballons part, the two players must step in the ballons near of
 the one wich says "exit".

I didn't forget Mickey, his second part is inside the cookies box!

After you accomplish the second part, look for the cookies box.

Here, don't fall in the cream sea. You can let the drips hit you without
hitting you. Be carefull with the airplanes. Cookies must be hitted twice!

-Second part, Mickey (sky high)
Once you find the champagne, it'll bring you to the sky. Use the D-pad up
and down to evade the stars.
Hint: just hold down all the time. You'll miss almost all the items, but
you'll get no damage and will get a blue and white card at the end.

The boss is Min. Hit her and be carefull when she lands. Watch her crystal
ball to know what magic she'll use:
pink:   she'll throw a fireball.
blue:   she'll make a fire rain.
yellow: she'll create two thunders near of herself.

After you defeat her, go back to the cookies box to get another hat (no, you
will NOT restart the level).

**Level 5

The final level. I call it "Alice in Wounder Land" by obvious reasons!

Moving cards will shoot hearts (they hurt!). Non-moving cards will activate
platforms. At the end of this, press a button. If you're playing as Mickey
it's one button. As Donald it's other. Two-players is other. I'm missing
what exactly buttons you have to press. I'll include it in next update!

-Part 2, Mickey (inside the mirror)
Just keep running and hitting the enemies. This is almost a bonus stage!

-Part 2, Donald (wonder grounds)
Finally a Donald's stage wich is easier than Mickey's! Just hit the
woodpeckers and they will create roles wich you can use to go to the other
side of the grounds. In the other side, jump in the clown boxes to go back.
I don't call this a labyrinth because this is all-linear!

-Part 2, 2-players (right door)
Here you'll have to find the right door to procced. Other doors will take
you back to the teamworks you made before. After you complete these
teamworks you'll go back to this room, tought.

The last area is harder, but there's only one way to complete it, then I
can't help you here. Just follow the path. In the elevator area, hold A +
right, else you'll fall for your death.

The last boss... Just keep hitting his mouth! Piece of cake!
