01 Introduction

01.01 Foreword

Welcome to my latest FAQ, gamers. It is based on the Game Boy Color
exclusive, X-Men: Wolverine's Rage cool game. At the request of my younger
brother and a lot of people in GameFAQs, I decided to write this quick FAQ.

For this version, I've only written the Walkthrough chapter. I do this
with most FAQs, and if I see many people care about the game, I write more.

X-Men: Wolverine's Rage is one of the three X-Men games that were released
for the Nintendo Game Boy Color handheld system. If you need to know, the two
ones before it were X-Men: Mutant Academy, and X-Men: Mutant Wars.

Mutant Academy is a fighting game that features the X-Men characters, and
of course needless to say, our Wolverine is one of them. It is bad in my
opinion, but worths a rent.

X-Men: Mutant Wars is a lot better than Mutant Academy. The game is side-
scroll, action game that looks like X-Men: Wolverine's Rage, but it is bad in
terms of graphics and sounds. You play as the X-Men mutants, and Wolverine was
the leader of course.

Both games were released in 2000, but Wolverine's Rage was released in
2001. It is one of my newest GBC games. It features the one-and-only
Wolverine with the great graphics plus the best sounds! Truly, just see how
cool it is.

Anyway, I think I've pushed a huge intro. here. Read the contact policy

Anyway, I'm pretty sure that I'll update this FAQ at least once
(or maybe twice) in this month if I had the chance to.

02 Walkthrough

02.01 Level 1
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With three minutes given, here we go! Go right until you reach a man.
Kill him and precede by grabbing onto ledge (small arrow indicates that you can
do so). Stand on the purple platform and you can go left if you want.
Continue right. There's a hot spot below, so don't step on the steam. Pass it
right and kill the other guy. Grab onto the other ledge and jump right. The
exit is in front of you.

02.02 Level 2
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Level 2 is more complex than the previous one. Slash the trash that is in
front of you, then jump on the blue platforms. Jump left now. Keep jump up
and grab onto the ledge. Head right now. Stand on the moving platform.

Go right and kill the soldier; a good method is to crouch and slash him
twice. Go right and get the items including the extra life (you need to reach
up using the moving platform). Return to where you've killed the last enemy.

Now go up by grabbing on the platform then continue left. Kill another
soldier and continue, then go on the roof. Be careful not to fall from the
gaps. There's a soldier here. Go right and on the moving platform. Continue
and don't touch the steam. Don't fall from the gaps. Go right until you reach
a man that you should kill. Jump up to the exit.

02.03 Level 3
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go right and kill the guy. Grab onto the platform and jump left to kill
the enemy. Go left, jump, and continue right, where there is a man that should
be killed. Go down here right to the "BAIT" word and kill the guy. Get the
items you find then continue right and up. Go on the roof to the left and
watch out for the steam. Go up, and if you continue left, get the item then
return here. Go up more and then left killing any soldier in the way. You'll
see a man. Behind him is the exit.

02.04 Level 4
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Begin the level by going down through the hole. Kill the tough guy here,
and keep jumping up then left to the item. Now go down. Go right and kill the
man here, the precede and go down. Kill one more and watch out for the steams!

Kill the other guy and jump on the green machine or something. Jump and
grab onto the right ledge, then jump left and kill the man. Go left, kill the
other man, and jump up. The left side here contains an item. Go to the right
side and kill the guy. Continue up right and jump down. Kill the other man
here. Jump on the platforms until you reach the top, where there's the exit to
the right.

02.05 Boss Fight: Deathstrike

This isn't too hard actually. Go left and wait for a moving platform to
elevate you up. Let Deathstrike follow you while you go left. Jump to the
small roof and wait for him to come. Face him and crouch. Keep attacking
until he falls down from the building. Make sure to right this password
somewhere safe because you've beaten 5 levels already.

02.06 Level 5
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, you're in a different place now. Go right until the end of the road
then jump on the green platform. Continue left and kill this Chinese man (you
can crouch and punch to avoid his hits). Jump on the yellow platform and
continue right. Jump, go left, and kill the man. Go left and kill the red
ninja. Now jump down and go left.

Keep jumping up then right. There's an optional way here to the left. If
you want, you can go there, then return here. Keep jumping right until you
reach a man that you should kill. Go right and jump down. Kill the ninja and
head left. Go down then right. Kill the man. Go down, kill the ninja, and
down on the other side. Either kill the ninja or go right and kill the man.
The exit is behind him.

02.07 Level 6
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Keep jumping right and left until you reach the rooftops. Here, kill the
man and precede right. Jump down here and be careful not to let those guys
kill you. Go right now and kill another man. Now the game gets a little bit
tougher since all the previous six levels were way too easy. You'll fight a
lot of those guys and ninjas as you go now, and make sure you just don't die.

If you keep going right, kill the ninja and get the extra life, then
return and go up this time. Kill the man to the right. Go up then left to
kill the ninja. Continue left. Go up and right. BE careful here as there are
gaps. Keep doing this until you reach the rooftop. Go right and kill the
ninjas. Jump down and there will be some annoying creatures that you should
avoid. Reach the man and kill him, then jump down. Kill the last man and go
to the exit.

02.08 Level 7

Kill the man to the right. Then kill the ninja. Keep going right until
you reach another man. Jump up and continue left. Kill the man and jump right
this time. Now go left. Kill the ninja in your way and continue. Kill the
man and continue left until the orange flag. Here, go up and continue right.

Kill the other ninja. Go and jump right. Then jump left to reach a ninja
that you should kill. Go left. Jump up and go right killing the man. Go
right killing everyone in your way. Eventually, jump on the rooftop, and kill
the ninja. The exit is there.

02.09 Level 8
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jump down here and kill the enemy. Go right and kill another one. Jump
on the moving platform and head left. Kill the ninja and obtain the extra
life. Go back on the moving platform and jump right this time.

If you need energy, you can get some from down. The right path is to the
right and you need to jump. Kill the ninja, go down, kill the enemy, go left
and down, and kill the ninja. Continue right and go down to kill another
enemy. Reach the left side by jumping.

Be careful here; there are spikes. Reach the other side without touching
those spikes and jump on the moving platform. It will take you right. Jump on
the other moving one and then jump left. Jump down directly, and go left.

Enemies are on the way, so kill anyone you see. You'll need to grab onto
those ledges to reach the top. Go left and down. Keep going down until you
see the man. Kill him. Go right and be careful for the spikes and ninjas.
The exit is just ahead.

02.10 Boss Fight: Lady Deathstrike
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you begin, jump down. Go right and you'll see Lady Deathstrike come to
your way. Now avoid being hit by jumping and running. When she slide about
twice, she will stop. Now go near her, and PRESS Down to crouch. Hit her
several times and she will go. Do this until you defeat. BTW, you can also
stop at one place if you are low in health. She will not come and there's no
time limit, so you can refill your health to max!

02.11 Level 9
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You'll start the level from the right side and not left as usual. So, go
left unless you want to go up and collect things. In this case, kill the dog.
You'll see some lava. You can run on it without being hurt, but don't stay too
much.

Attack the dog. Continue left and you'll see a heart. Go back and up to
kill that monster. Grab onto the ledges here and jump right. Kill the stupid
dog and jump right carefully, 'cause there are flames here. Grab onto the
ledges here and go up from left. Pass the flame.

There's an optional route to left if you need an extra life. Go right all
the way without falling down and kill the monster. Go to the exit.

02.12 Level 10
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As you begin, go right to the monster. Kill it and head right to the dog.
Continue right and go on the moving platform to take you down. Go down to the
extra life. And now, go left and kill the dog. Jump left to the monster and
kill it.

Go up by grabbing onto the ledge and jump left then grab onto the other
one. When you reach the top, jump left and kill the monster. Now jump left
until you reach the dog. Kill it, and go down. Jump left to the exit.

02.13 Level 11
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go right and kill the dog. Continue right, jump, and kill the monster.
Now grab onto the ledge to the top-right and go right. Kill the dog and fall
down the other side. Here's another dog that you should kill.

Grab onto the ledges and go left. Jump and don't go down on the
waterfalls. Kill the monster to your left. Now go left. There is a hole down
that you should avoid getting in mistakenly. Jump left to the monster and kill
it. Grab onto the right ledge and kill the dog. Go right and grab onto
another ledge. Keep going right killing the monster and the dog on your way,
and head to the exit.

02.14 Level 12
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You'll start at in the middle of the level. Go left then down to the dog.
Now jump down and then right to the monster. Kill it and precede right. Take
the big heart and jump right. Kill the other dog. Keep going right to the
monster.

Once you kill it, grab onto the ledges to reach the monster above. Jump
left to the dog. Grab onto the ledge to the left, then onto the one to the
right. Go right and kill another monster. Continue right to the exit.

02.15 Boss Fight: Sabretooth
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This boss is obviously tougher than the two before. Run left and jump on
the platform. Sabretooth will start trying to hit you, but that won't affect,
since you are in a higher place.

While this place is the best to refill your health, this is also the
safest. OK. While the stupid is trying to hit you, jump behind him and
attack, then return to the safe place. Do this until you defeat him, but don't
let him slash you, as his slashes are very strong!

02.16 Level 13
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The enemies here are very tough, so be careful while dealing with them.
Go right and when you just see the enemy, jump to avoid its dash, as it will
decrease a large amount of your energy. Avoid that thing by jumping, and then
grab onto the ledge.

Jump on the lined platforms and go left (the right side has an extra
life). Grab onto the bunch of ledges and head right. Go right and jump down.
Head right and break that thing. Jump up here and go left.

Keep jumping up here and when you reach that sucker, avoid its bombs.
Kill it and go right. Avoid the enemies here and go down. Here's another
annoying bomber. I recommend you pass it. Go right and jump not to touch the
enemy, then go down to the exit.

02.17 Level 14
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Three levels left to reach the boss, eh? Oh, they gotta be hard. Go
right and jump to avoid the enemy. Jump down then right to the bomber. BTW,
the best way to kill the bomber is to crouch while hitting it. Keep jumping
right, and destroy everything in your way. Grab onto the right ledge, and go
left to kill the bomber. Continue in the same way and destroy the monster.

Grab onto those ledges and jump right. Kill everyone and don't fall down.
Go to the exit on the right.

02.18 Level 15
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go left. Then, kill the enemy and grab onto the ledge to go up. Kill the
bomber. Now jump right and defeat the other enemy. Grab some more ledges and
go left this time.

Kill the bomber to the left and go up. There are some more discs that you
should avoid. Go right and kill the monster. Grab onto the ledge and go
right. Go down and kill the monster. Go down more and kill another one. Now
jump right to see another one. Destroy the blue disc and jump up. Kill the
bomber. Now go up.

Go left then down and kill the monster. Go left and kill another one.
Grab onto the ledge to the left and jump right. Keep going up and kill the
bomber. Go right now and kill the monster. Go to the exit.

02.19 Level 16
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Go right and grab onto the ledge. Break this thing and kill the bomber.
Go up and kill the monster to your left. Don't go down here. Instead, go left
and continue up.

Go right and kill the monster, then go right. Jump down as far as you can
and kill the bomber. Jump right. Kill the monster. Jump to the ledge and
wait until the above thing goes down. Now go up.

Jump left and kill the bomber. Continue left, jump, and go right. Jump
and kill the monster then jump left and kill the other bomber. Jump left to
the exit. Wow! Finally.

02.20 Final Boss: Sabretooth and Deathstrike
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally. This isn't a very hard thing. Go left and stand on the moving
platform. Let it takes you up and if Sabretooth sees you, he will come to
attack. Simply, be on that moving thing and when you are up, slash him. If he
doesn't come, you can go right and he will notice you. Just run to the moving
platform and do the previous strategy. Watch out for the beams, however; they
can kill you.

When you kill him, Deathstrike will come. Do the same things and...

03 Secrets
===============================================================================

Everything that is found in this section is written by me. I only took
the two GameShark codes from GameShark's official Web site.

<> Alternative Costume
At the title screen (the one that displays "PRESS START"), press Up,
Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, and A. You'll hear a
sound that confirms that the cheat is enabled. Now, start a new game
and you'll control Wolverine in another costume.

<> Level Skip
At the title screen (the one that displays "PRESS START"), press Up,
Up, Up, Up, Down, Down, Down, Down, Left, Left, Left, Left, Right,
Right, Right, Right, B, and A. You'll hear a sound that confirms
that the cheat is enabled. Now, while playing, anytime you press
SELECT will skip the level! That's cool.
