The Mummy is a puzzle platformer where you have to traverse through dangerous
mazes and collect all the items to unlock the exit door. The first two chapters
are actually just narrative and gameplay begins on chapter three. You can view
the map at any time by pressing select. Your character will flash blue on the
map and the objectives will flash red on the map. You will also see platforms,
ladders, and doors. The doors can only open in one direction, which will be
shown by an arrow in the map. There are also some doors that require a
tombstone key to open. Only Evelyn can carry the tombstone and the door has to
be on the screen for you to use the key to open it. If you use the key in a
room without a door, you will waste it.
Some areas you will find are just pitch black. You'll have to find a way to
light those areas with either a torch or by turning all the mirrors in that
area to redirect sunlight. If you run off the right far right room, you will
appear in the far left room. Similarly, if you fall drop off to a lower room
from the bottom row of rooms, you will appear in the top row of rooms. Use
these mechanics to collect all of the clear items in a stage to unlock the exit
and complete each chapter.
This can be a challenging game because you have to perform actions and solve
certain puzzles within each level in a particular order. If you use too many
items, it could prevent you from progressing further and completing a level.
This guide will help you if you get stuck in any level for that reason. It does
require a lot of planning ahead and may not give you enough items to solve a
puzzle in a way you see it. To help solve each puzzle by yourself, I recommend
going through as many rooms as possible before using any items and planning
your route accordingly. Otherwise, use this guide to help complete any chapter
in the game.

There are different characters that you will unlock as you progress through the
game. Each character has their own playstyles and you will have to use each
character's strength to solve each level. The action button will always pick up
and use items but each character also an action ability that can be used when
you do not have an item in your hands. Some items can only be picked up by
certain characters. Jonathan is the only character that can pick up the
dynamite. Evelyn is the only character that can pick up the tomb key. And Rick
is the only character that can pick up the rifle.
Each character has different jump heights and different movement speeds. This
can mean life or death, but it especially means having the ability to reach
higher platforms. Rick is the slowest and has the worst jump height, Evelyn is
the fastest and has the highest jump height and Jonathan is right in between
the two in terms of speed and jump height. For this reason, I recommend
sticking to Evelyn as much as possible and only switching when you need another
character's ability. Even after you're done using it, I'd still recommend
switching back to Evelyn on stages that you control all three characters.
Late in the game, you will also unlock Ardeth. He plays like a faster Jonathan.
He has a melee attack which is basically the same as Jonathan's punch but can
move about the same speed as Evelyn and jump even higher than her.

One last thing to note in this game are the enemies. Many won't damage you
until late in the game. Once you leave a screen, all of the enemies in the room
will reset positions unless they are already at the edge that you switched to.
Enemies also spawn when your character reaches certain points in the room. If
an enemy that can deal damage is in a position that can get in your way, just
go out of the room and reenter it. It will reset the enemy's position and if
you enter the room from a different area, the enemy may not spawn at all.
There are also people that Rick can push. These people will act as walls for
you to plan ahead but can also be used to be pushed onto switches. There are
also little statues and potted plants you can push in a similar fashion to
press switches.

A1 - Pick up the tombstone (key) to the right and activate it by pressing B to
open the door above. Climb the ladder and jump the gap to the right. Run
off screen to the right.
A2 - Fall down and run off screen to the left.
A1 - Jump the gap for the first clear item. Drop down through the hole.
B1 - Jump the gap to the left. Run past the ladder and off screen to the left.
B3 - Fall down and collect the clear item. Jump over the spikes to the right.
Run off screen to the right.
B1 - Fall through the hole on the bottom of the screen.
A1 - Jump the gap to the right and run off screen.
A2 - Jump the gap and go through the door. Fall down the next gap and run to

A1 - Pick up the dynamite and use it on the blocks to the left. Climb down the
ladder for the first clear item. Climb back up the ladder and up the next
ladder.
C1 - Go through the lower entrance on the left.
C3 - Climb down the ladder.
A3 - Grab the dynamite on the screen and climb all the way down this ladder.
B3 - Crouch in the bottom left corner and crawl to the left.
B2 - Pick up the clear item and go back to the right.
B3 - Climb down the ladder here.
C3 - Go to the right.
C1 - Climb up the ladder.
B1 - Go to the right on the lower path.

A2 - Break the platforms on the left to drop down. Attack the guard and collect
the clear item. Run to the left.
A1 - Drop down and use the dynamite on the bricks. Drop down when the path is
clear.
B1 - Go to the left.
B3 - Pick up the dynamite. Go to the right.
B1 - Crouch and crawl as far as you can to the right and drop the dynamite.
Collect the clear item. Go back to the left.
B3 - Climb down the ladder and exit the room in the bottom left corner.
B2 - Fall down the gap.
C2 - Jump the gap to the right.
C3 - Pick up the dynamite and climb down the ladder. Crawl under the brick and
place the dynamite as far to the left as you can to clear the bricks.
Climb down this ladder when the path opens up.
A3 - Collect the clear item and climb back up the ladder.
C3 - Climb the ladder and go to the left.
C2 - Fall down the gap.
A2 - Fall down and go to the left.

A1 - Immediately run to the right to avoid the ghost.
A2 - Climb down the ladder.
B2 - This area is really dark and you'll see mirrors you can flip. Climb down
the ladder until you reach the lower mirror and run to the left to
activate it. Run off screen to the left.
B1 - Run to the left to activate the next mirror and pick up the tombstone key.
Move just to the right of the rock and keep holding up while moving
slightly to the right. There's a ladder here. Climb up it and go to the
right.
B2 - Activate the mirror to the right and go back left.
B1 - If the guard didn't activate the top mirror, activate it. Now you can see.
Climb up the ladder to the left.
A1 - Pick up the clear item and climb down the ladder.
B1 - Go to the right and climb down the ladder, just make sure to reactivate
the mirror. Climb down the ladder and go to the right when all mirrors
are still active.
B2 - Climb up the ladder and enter the door on the right.
B3 - Take a couple steps to the right and hold up. There's a hidden ladder so
it may take you a couple seconds to find it.
A3 - Use your tombstone key and pick up the clear item. Climb down the ladder.
B3 - Move to the right and flip the mirror.
B4 - Run to the right until you fall down, run to the left.
B3 - Flip the mirror and run to the right.
B4 - Run to the right and jump over this mirror because a guard will activate
it in a couple seconds. Run as far to the right as you can and climb up a
hidden ladder. Pick up the tombstone key and activate this mirror. Fall
to the left and run to the left when all mirrors are active.
B3 - Climb down the ladder in the lower left.
C3 - Fall and run to the right.
C4 - Go through the door. Pick up the clear item and go to the right.
C1 - Use the tombstone key. Sprint and jump the gap to the right. Run off the
screen to the right.
C2 - Climb down the ladder and jump the spikes to the left.
C1 - Jump the spikes and grab the clear item. Climb down the ladder.

A5 - Jump over the pushable block and break the blocks to the right. Push that
block to the left to let it drop down. Drop down and hold left while
falling.
B5 - Make sure to hold left while fallling so you land on the top platform. Go
left.
B4 - Jump the gap with Evelyn and pick up the dynamite. Jump the gap to the
right again.
B5 - Fall down and push the block to the left. Follow it when it drops and push
it to the right until it's on the left switch. Go left.

A3 - Jump up the platforms and fall onto the clear item to the left. Fall down

lower mirror.
D3 - Wait here for the guard to come towards you. Just stay put, he won't reach

shield down randomly and you'll kill it before it reaches you. Go right.

right corner. Now ride back up the platform and grab the torch in the top

close as Evelyn and back away once they get close, then jump over them.
Do this and go right.
A2 - This shield mummy is also in a tough position, just sprint past it as
Evelyn to only take one damage. You're going to take damage no matter
what with this poorly designed room. Go right.
A3 - Let this ceiling mummy drop onto one of the steps and then jump over it to
get by it safely. Go right.
A4 - Ride the moving platforms and go left on the top platform.

A1 - Jump across the breakable blocks and moving platform to go right.
A2 - Jump across the breakable blocks and continue right.
A3 - Jump onto the moving platform, then the breakable platform, and jump to
the right.
A4 - Continue across the breakable platforms and another moving platform as you
keep moving right.
A5 - Jump the gaps to the right.
A6 - Jump to the key and head for the exit door. If you miss the jump, you will
fall and find out there's much more to this level. If you made the jump,
congratulations, you finished the game! You can always restart your game
and try that part again using the password, or you can follow the rest of
this guide to learn how to complete this level.
B6 - Walk along this floor in the darkness. There are breakable platforms here,
just keep walking back and forth until you fall.
C6 - Fall down.
D6 - Go left.
D5 - Go left.
D4 - Go left.
D3 - Pick up a dynamite and go right.
D4 - Enter the door.
C5 - Go left, fall down, and go right. Fall down at the end.
D5 - Use a dynamite as far left as you can go. Jump to the left and pick up the
other dynamite here. Now drop down and enter the door.
C1 - Climb down the ladder and blow up the bricks on the middle platform. Now
climb back up the ladder and enter the door.
D5 - Fall down and go left.
D4 - Go left.
D3 - Pick up the dynamite and go right.
D4 - Enter the door.
C5 - Go left, fall down, and go right. Fall down at the end.
D5 - Fall down and enter the door.
C1 - Fall down and go right.
C2 - Blow up the bricks, fall down, and go right until you fall.
D2 - Go right.
D3 - Enter the door.
B1 - Climb up the ladder, pick up a dynamite, and go right.
B2 - Go right.
B3 - Climb up the ladder and place a dynamite as far to the right as you can.
Pick up the next dynamite and place it on the brick to as far right as
you can. Continue to the right.
B4 - Go right.
B5 - Pick up a dynamite above and enter the door below.
C4 - Place your dynamite as far to the right as you can. Climb down the ladder
and pick up the other dynamite down here. Go left.
C3 - Enter the door.
D4 - Place your dynamite on the bricks to the right. Enter the door again.
C3 - Go right.
C4 - Climb up the ladder and enter the door.
B5 - Pick up a dynamite above and enter the door below.
C4 - Climb down the ladder and go left.
C3 - Enter the door.
D4 - Place the dynamite on the bricks to the left. Fall down and enter the door
below.
C5 - Go left, fall down, and go right. Fall down at the end.
D5 - Fall down and enter the door.
C1 - Fall down and go right.
C2 - Fall down and go right until you fall.
D2 - Go right.
D3 - Enter the door.
B1 - Climb up the ladder and pick up the other dynamite, continue to the right.
B2 - Go right.
B3 - Climb up the ladder to get past the first wall and go right.
B4 - Go right.
B5 - Enter the door.
C4 - Climb down the ladder and go left.
C3 - Enter the door.
D4 - Go left.
D3 - Go left.
D2 - Blow up both sets of bricks here with the dynamite you have and the other
dynamite in this room. Go back to the right.
D3 - Go right.
D4 - Drop down and enter the lower door.
C5 - Go right.
C6 - Pick up the dynamite and go left.
C5 - Go left until you fall and then right until you fall.
D5 - Fall and enter the door to your left.
C1 - Fall down and go right.
C2 - Fall down and go right until you fall.
D2 - Go right.
D3 - Enter the door.
B1 - Climb the ladder and go right.
B2 - Go right.
B3 - Climb up the ladder to get past the first wall and go right.

A6 - Pick up the key and jump to the exit.
