[It's a dark and rainy night as the Sinister Six devise a plot inside a large
clock tower.]
DOC OCK: For years now we have been made to look like fools at the hands of
Spider-Man...
[Inside the tower, Doctor Octopus examines a radioactive bomb.]
DOC OCK: The time has come my friends, to finish Spider-Man once and for all!
[Doc Ock holds up the Daily Bugle newspaper. The front page has a photograph of
Spider-Man.]
DOC OCK: Find my old student Peter Parker, he takes all these pictures of his
friend, Spider-Man. If we kidnap him, our arachnid friend will surely try and
save him.
[Doc Ock raises his arms and mechanical tentacles in front of his comrades.]
DOC OCK: We will lure that scoundrel Spider-Man into our clutches. One by one
you will weaken him...
SPIDER-MAN: The ESU campus, Ock must be behind this. I hope this is it.
[The Daily Bugle headline: LOCATE KEYS.]
[Doctor Octopus has attached himself into a laboratory. Spider-Man kicks him
around and damages his tentacles. Subsequently, Spider-Man rescues Aunt May.]
DOC OCK: This cannot continue forever! One day I will be triumphant
Spider-Man!
[The Daily Bugle headline: DOCTOR OCTOPUS DEFEATED.]
[It's a new day. Aunt May is inside the Parker house. Spider-Man squats high up
on a tree in the backyard.]
SPIDER-MAN: I think it's time I talked Aunt May into getting an unlisted
address.
