Hiryu No Ken EX is the Game Boy Color version of SD Hiryu No Ken Gaiden, and is
purely a fighting game, like SD Hiryu No Ken. There are a few new characters
that weren't in SD, Suzaku returns, and the Ryumaou finally appears, meaning
that this is probably a sequel to SD Hiryu No Ken. Since there's no intro, here
are the main characters/enemies and their purpose:

RYUHI'S objective is to defeat Suzaku and the Ryumaou.
HAYATO'S goal is to defeat Suzaku also.
WILER is hired by the CIA to pursue RAIMA again.
SHOURYU means to investigate a pyramid where evil energy is coming from.
MIN MIN seems to have no purpose but to win the tournament.
SUZAKU wants to control the world.
YUUKA looks to be related to Hayato, and wants to beat him.
RAIMA is a prototype built to defend the justice of the world.
E. QUAKER is a mummy guardian of the pyramid Shouryu is invading.
JENNIFER is a member of the Kongou Shichi Bushin [Adamant Seven Fight Gods],
fights just to win.
RYUMAOU wants to rule the world in darkness.

E. Quaker: Those who devastate our holy land are gone. My mission is finished.

Shouryu: The evil power in this pyramid is from this jewel. I've finished my
mission. I got back the jewel.
-- JENNIFER'S ENDING
Jennifer: Hey, Daddy. I won't be beaten by those creeps. Now, let's be together
tonight, okay?
-- MIN MIN'S ENDING
Min Min: Everyone, you are pitiful. You were defeated by a girl. Alright, now
I'll take a nice vacation.
Men: Wait, now we'll fight you!
-- RAIMA'S ENDING
RAIMA: SIMULATION SYSTEM TERMINATED. SYSTEMS ALL GREEN. SENDING FIGHTING DATA.
Doctor: The simulation is complete. Go! RAIMA. Proect the world's peace!
-- WILER'S ENDING
Wiler: Tch! I've got a problem. Where did RAIMA go? ...... Shit! He ran away.
But why did that damn thing... do that again....
-- YUUKA'S ENDING
Yuuka: Hayato, you lost. You have to come with me now.
LATER
Yuuka: I'm leaving you behind! Hayato.
Hayato: Wa, wait please!!
-- HAYATO'S ENDING
Hayato: Suzaku, you can't beat us with such weak power. You should train again.
For the
time being, it's done. I will travel again.
-- RYUHI VS. SUZAKU
Suzaku: You were trapped, Dragon Warrior. You will regret coming here!
-- RYUHI'S ENDING
Ryuhi: The game is over Suzaku! I will not let you have this blue earth. I will
protect the justice of this world.
-- SUZAKU'S ENDING
Suzaku: Hu hu hu hu hu hu... I, I won. I am capable of the same power as him.
Hu hu hu hu hu hu.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
-- RYUMAOU VS. SELF
Ryumaou: The only one that is above me is myself.
-- RYUHI VS. RYUMAOU
Ryumaou: I am the Ryumaou. This world is for me. All living things in this
world are my slaves.
I will fight all of those who oppose me!

Ryumaou had revived and defeated the Dragon Warriors. Consequently, will this
world
fall under the Ryumaou? And, Ryuhi's destiny is....
-- RYUHI'S ENDING AFTER ALL PERFECT VICTORIES AND RYUMAOU DEFEATED
Ryumaou: Hu hu hu. You can't beat me as long as I have the power of the red
star! Become stronger
than you are now, then amuse me. I will be waiting until next time.
