Version: Final: Goodness, I barely remembered I had this FAQ still up =P.
Well, it's time I fix it. I added some minor changes,
but I fixed %99 percent of the FAQ up. Anyway, sorry for

The Pokemon below can only evolve with the conditions stated:

Scyther > Scizor = Equip Scyther with the Metal Coat and trade
Onix > Stelix = Equip Onix with the Metal Coat and trade
Slowpoke > Slowking = Equip Slowpoke with the King's Rock and trade
Poliwhirl > Politoed = Equip Poliwhirl with the King's Rock and trade
Porygon > Porygon2 = Equip Porygon with the Upgrade and trade
Seadra > Kingdra = Equip Seadra with the Dragon Scale and trade
Tyrogue > Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan = At level 20 it evolves to Hitmonlee
if it's attack is higher than defense
It'll evolve to Hitmonchan if it's
defense is higher than attack...
Tyrogue > Hitmontop = At level 20 Tyrogue evolves to Hitmontop if it's
attack and defense are the same...

To evolve the Pokemon below, you must use the "Happiness" technique.
To do this, always keep this Pokemon with you and go through the
Elite Four to make them feel special occasionally. If you let them
faint, lose battles, trade them to another game, or place them in
boxes instead of your team they will become unhappy. Another thing
is to let Gary's sister to play with the Pokemon in Pallet Town
from 3-4 PM. You might also want to get them haircuts in Goldenrod.
All of those things will definitely make the Pokemon extremely happy,
which will cause them to evolve...

Eevee > Espeon (Daytime)
Eevee > Umbreon (Nighttime)
Elekid > Electabuzz
Chansey > Blissey
Cleffa > Clefairy
Golbat > Crobat
Igglybuff > Jigglypuff
Magby > Magmar
Pichu > Pikachu
Smoochum > Jynx
Togepi > Togetic

Note: These Pokemon will evolve when their happiness level reaches 1

To evolve these Pokemon, you must trade them over to another game...

Kadabra - Alakazam

To get the pre-evolved versions of the Pokemon below, you must go to
the Breeding Center south of Goldenrod City and give the man a Male and
give the woman a Female. Soon after a little bit, they will breed
and the man will be in the back-yard holding an egg. Once you have
the egg, just walk some more and it should hatch in no time!

Electabuzz + Electabuzz > Elekid
Clefairy + Clefairy > Cleffa
Jigglypuff + Jigglypuff > Igglybuff
Magmar + Magmar > Magby
Pikachu + Pikachu > Pichu
Jynx + Any Other Pokemon > Smoochum

Also, you can breed any of these Pokemon with a Ditto instead!

Question: How do I evolve my Togepi!? It's been 39 levels and it still
hasn't evolved to Togetic!
Answer: Well the answer is pretty simple, you have to use the Happiness
Technique. It is where you go to Goldenrod City and get hair-
cuts for your Pokemon there, go to Pallet Town and let Gary's
sister play with Togepi from 4-5pm, dropping him off at the
Happiness Center underground Goldenrod City from time to time,
and the most important thing, not letting him lose or faint in
battles. Doing those things should really help Togepi evolve...

Question: I've heard from other places that Slowking actually evolves
from Slowbro, not Slowpoke. Is this true?
Answer: Nope, another rumor that's been going around. It actually DOES
evolve from Slowpoke. If you try Slowbro, you'll just be
wasting your time. I hope that clears things up.

Question: Does Poliwrath or Poliwhirl evolve into Politoed? I've tried
Poliwrath but it doesn't seem to work for me.
Answer: Ack another typo of mine, it is actually Poliwhirl that evolves
into Politoed.

Question: Ok, I started out with a Larvitar and no it is evolved as a
Pupitar, I am now at level 51 and I really want Tyranitar but
it just hasn't evolved! Can you please clarify this for me?
Answer: Oh yes, the Tyranitar evolves at level 55 so only 4 more levels
to go!

Question: Is there any other way to get the dark pokemon Umbreon and any of
the other evolutions?
Answer: You get Umbreon, you take it to the daycare with a ditto or if
it's female something else. Once you get the egg, it hatches
into Eevee (to evolves of course), and repeat as needed.

Question: I breed a Ditto and Electabuzz and the egg still isn't made. It's
been over a week! What's going on here?
Answer: Well the first thing to know is that Ditto takes a longer time to
create an egg. The fastest way to get an egg hatch or be created,
is to go to the old world, and ride your bike on the bike path up
and down for a while. Sooner or later, you'll have your Elekid!
