PREFACE
In this beloved sequel to The Minish Cap, our hero must fight monsters and
collect rupees in order
to save the Princess Zelda from--what do you mean, "That's not right"??? Of
course it is!!! Wait,
let me see your game...a-HA, I see: you have the inferior original
multiplayer-only version, in which--look, sir/miss/ma'am
who wrote this guide and got GameFAQ's approval of it? Me. Yes, me, not--"I",
"me", same difference!
Don't change the subject (ba dum tss!). Now, where was me? Oh yeah: THIS IS NOT
A GUIDE FOR EITHER OF THOSE GAMES.
What? No, why would it be? This is
DWM2: THE ULTIMATE SKILL & BREEDING GUIDE
A Practical Parody* FAQ
by me**
*The parody label in no way negates the factual content of this guide.
**rogueKlyntar, duuuh; nobody else is OCD enough to put all this in a single
document,
and even I am too lazy too collect as much information as I would like.
But you know it's a good guide because it's already within 30KB of the
longest and most recommended walkthrough for the game, and this isn't
even a walkthrough. Soon it will be HALF A MEGABYTE!
ABOUT THE GUIDE
There are a good number of guides to the various elements of DWM2 out there.
Not one treats learning skills as an essential part of breeding.
This guide collects nearly everything you need for skill breeding,
from which monsters you need to breed a monster with the desired skills
to breeding the monster you actually want; as well as most of the information
found
in preexisting guides. There should be few questions that this guide doesn't
answer.

*This will be a spatially condensed version of DwM2_DD's guide.
I don't understand it, so all I will do is uniformitize the tables
and remove extraneous blank lines and the part on DarkDrium and after.
I may add to the DarkDrium section to include DD's breeding method for
a DarkDrium with max resistances.
**See Section for further breakdown
NOTE: §2.2 is being reworked. When done, it will be renamed,
but any content there now will remain.
Although nearly every major section is usable, I have marked several as follows:
##IN PROGRESS## - Mostly original work, in progress
##INCOMPLETE## - Based heavily on somebody else's work;
reformatting and edits in progress
##ALMOST COMPLETE## - Conceptually entirely original work made easy thx to
Jimeous and Ambios;
uniformity editing remains which is too monotonous to do on my ipod.
##DONE## - ...for now.
Check the ToC if an unmarked section seems unfinished. I did this at the last
minute.
Some sections are not where they should be. This is reflected in the ToC
I will uniformitize section hedings later
I won't do anything about line length yet. I'm not doing this on a computer, and
Rockbox's text editor
leaves much to be desired, even if I am using a 2005 iPod Nano.
Every table should fit already anyway.
If you see an  it's because Rockbox encoded the file weird. Same for any <?>s
that you see.
AMBIOS, JIMEOUS & RENA CHAN: I will eventually replace your text with my own but
for now I am leaving it as
you wrote it. Plz don't sue me, I have no money anyway. Seriously.
DISCLAIMER: Most of the contents of this guide are correct, mainly
because their sources were written by people who cared. But I, being who I am,
am transcended above such worries as accuracy and fact-checking.
I mean, if Elmer Fudd has been reduced to hunting wabbits
using a SICKLE, accuracy can't be that important anyway.
Because it's so easy to kill a wabbit by flinging a VERY CURVED
blade at it. BTW, I cannot guarantee accuracy for Tara's Adveenture.
Monster Families may be referred to as follows:
Slime [S], Slm.
Dragon [D], Drg.
Beast [A] ( = Animal), Bst.
Bird [F] ( = Flying), Brd.
Plant [P], Pl.
Bug [I] ( = Insect), Bg.
Devil [E] ( = Evil), Dev.
Zombie [Z], Zmb.
Material [M], Mat.
Water [W], Wtr.
???/Boss [?], Bss.
In monster names the following abbreviations are used, within obvious contexts:
S - Slime (HaloS = HaloSlime)
G - -gon (PoisonG = Poisongon)
B - Bird (WhipB = WhipBird)
M- - Mad (MMirror = MadMirror)
Key Worlds will be referred to as follows:
Story/Non-Random: Any of the following:
Oasis/Desert: The world accessed using the Oasis key.
Pirate/Sea/Water: the world accessed using the Pirate Key
Sky/Float: The world accessed using the Sky key.
Elf/Elven: The world accessed using the Elf key (CJ)
Lonely: The world accessed using the Lonely key (TA)
Travel(er): The world accessed using the Traveler key.
Magic/Appaised/Random: any world accessed using an appraised key, eg a LastLord
key
"RK:" indicates that what immediately follows is my own insertion
into what is largely borrowed stuff.
##[Text]##: notes usually concerning a section's status of competion, to be
removed. Eventually.
[Text]*: See note below, usually the next one you come to anyway
This is an edited version of the table in Ambios' TA walkthrough.
I have added Beast x Demon, which he forgot, and x??? results.

§1.1b BREEDING TABLES: ADVANCED A
The following is basically a reformatted version of Section 9 of Jimeous'
walkthrough for Cobi's Journey, with minor edits:
I have simplified the ASCII borders as follows:
The border above a monster's entry has been made into a simple line of hyhens,
with a number of #s on either end:
The left end #s indicate the rarity of the monster, with each # represening half
a star.
The right end #s indicate the monster's size as follows:
# Small ## Medium ### Large #### Very Large ##### Giant
Until I finish this will be here. Be glad I'm not SO lazy I can't replace #####
with ----#.
If I were, the next line would be 32 lines down.
If a monster can be found in a Story key world, EXP rewarded is given
after the name. Groups of monsters do not necessarily give the sum of the EXP
worth each monster,
so this is for single monsters only, and assumes only one monster receivs EXP,
as it gets divided among any allies. ##ATM the numbers given are wrong##
Where multiple ways exist to breed a monster, they will be arranged in the
following order:
FAMILY x FAMILY
FAMILY (& Monster) x Monster
Monster x FAMILY (& Monster)
Monster x Monster with AxA pairs preceding AxB pairs.
¹ Primarily concerning ??? monsters: the DWM1 formula accord1ng to AWJackson
²The formula in the Library Catalog
##I am looking into the matter of gender odds for eggs, and will add them
eventually.##
##I'll fill in the rarity and size when I add gender odds. They don't really
serve any function anyway.
Actually, larger monsters are less likely to evade opponents skills, but
still.##
##This section will likely take the longest to complete##

§1.1b BREEDING TABLES: ADVANCED B
based on Ambios' work
This is not really useful for systematic breeding, but is good when you have too
many monsters and
either want to breed sth just to make room or can't remember what you meant to
do with some.
MONSTER : Can be used to breed
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————
1EYECLOWN : MimeSlime CatMage Sickler ChopClown MedusaEye WhaleMage
DarkDrium is the ultimate boss from DWM1, but does not appear in DWM2 except
through breeding.
Boss Family monsters usually have only one way to breed them. Because of this,
breeding them is a good way to increase your Befriended monster count.
As such only the breeding pairs that will "unlock" the most Boss Family monsters
are given.
The rest can be found in Section 1.1. A "*" indicates that a monster can be bred
multiple ways.
In other words, I have arranged for the entire Boss Family, except for Darck,
LDraco, GSidoh and Orgodemir, to goes into breeding DarkDrium.
Note that this section assumes you have at least completed the Sky world***.
These combinations are organized such that, assuming one has already bred all
non-Boss monsters,
no new monster will be named as a parent before its own breeding information has
been given.
There is however one exception: although PsychoPiz requires Esterk, it is listed
immediately before Esterk.
The breeding information for Akubar, Durran and Jamirus is given for three
reasons:
- They were non-Boss Family bosses in DWM1
- I always found it hard to remember what family they belong to (Devil) making
it tedious to find them in Jimeous' chart.
- You need them immediately; since Titanis is also needed for GenoSidoh,
and she* requires Jamirus, her breeding information is included.
|
¯¯¯ IMPORTANT NOTE
One more thing: don't worry about missing out on skills. Once you've got
DarkDrium,
simply breed a monster with all the desired skills, then breed DarkDrium with
that monster.
MAKE SURE DARKDRIUM IS THE BASE MOSTER OR YOU WILL NOT GET ANOTHER DARKDRIUM
AND WILL HAVE TO START OVER!!!!!!
Order is important throuout this process: if you breed Mudou x DeathMore2 you
will not get Deathmore3,
you will get another Mudou X( It has to be DeathMore2 x Mudou.
So here's the DarkDrium series, as well as a list of required monsters***:
A - Akubar¹ x : any gender; see below for obtaining
B - Rainhawk¹ x 4: opposite gender of Akubar; see below for obtaining
C - Serpentia¹ x 3: FFF; see below for obtaining
D - Rosevine¹ x 1: F; see below for obtaining
E - Divinegon x 4: FFFF; see below for obtaining
F - KingLeo x 3: FFF; see below for obtaining
G - GoldSlime¹ x 1: F
H - Orligon x 1: F
I - Servant x 2: M
J - Andreal x 2: F (Sky)
L - WhiteKing x 1: F or M
M - MetalKing¹ x 1: M or F
N - Orochi¹ x 1: F
O - Gorago¹ x 2: FF
P - Armorpion¹ x 1: F

^^ Ignore this, its purpose doesn't concern mere mortals like you
As you can tell from Deathmore3's breeding diagram below,
this will take a few hours. IF you already have the listed
monsters all ready for breeding. If not...
DURRAN & Titanis
Akubar* = ArcDemon x GateGuard => 4M
Tip: All the monsters you need to breed Akubar can be found in the Sky Key
world
if you don't want to recruit one from a foreign master:
(Gigantes x Andreal) x GateGuard or
(Gateguard x ZOMBIE) x Gateguard
Jamirus = Akubar¹ x RainHawk² => 4M
Tip: All the monsters you need to breed Rainhawk can be found in the Sky Key
world?
if you don't want to recruit Blizzardy and/or Phoenix from a foreign
master.
(BIRD x Metaly) x (BIRD x CopyCat)
Phoenix can be found as well, but they are fairly rare.
Vampirus can be caught and used instead, but that's cheating.
Durran* = Jamirus x Serpentia¹ => 3M
Tip: All the monsters you need to breed Serpentia can be found in the Sky and
Limbo Key worlds
if you don't want to recruit one from a foreign master: GreatDrak x
(Lionex x Gigantes)
(Titanis = Durran x DarkHorn¹)
SIDOH & Genosidoh
Sidoh = Jamirus x Rosevine¹ => F
Tip: If you don't want to recruit Rosevine from a freign master,
you will need a Boss family monster to breed one. See DracoLord1 below.
(GenoSidoh = Sidoh x Titanis)
MIRUDRAAS & PsychoPiz
Pizzaro = Durran x Divinegon => 3M
Tip: Divinegon requires Skydragon and Orochi/Serpentia.
Skydragon can be found in the tower (3F)
If you don't want to recruit Orochi/Serpentia from a foreign master,
you can breed more Serpentias as above or Orochis from Andreals and
DracoLords
PsychoPiz = Pizzaro x Esterk => F
Esterk* = Pizzaro x KingLeo ==> 1M 1F
Tip: All the monsters you need to breed KingLeo can be found in the Ice Key
world:
(Yeti x LandOwl) x (Yeti x LandOwl)
Mirudraas1 = Esterk x GoldSlime
Tip: Goldslime is a pain to breed unless you have a WonderEgg,
and even then it's pretty bad. No matter which of the 5 methods you use,
you will need at least one "royal" slime (KingSlime, SpotKing or
MetalKing).
Mirudraas2 = Mirudraas1 x Orligon
DRACOLORD & Lord Draco + Orgodemir
DracoLord1* = Servant x Andreal
DracoLord2 = DracoLord1 x Divinegon
(LordDraco = DracoLord1 x Orligon)
(Orgodemir1 = PsychoPiz x Niterich)
(Orgodemir2* = Orgodemir1 x LordDraco)
ZOMA & AsuraZoma
Zoma* = DracoLord2 x Sidoh => F
AsuraZoma = Zoma x PsychoPiz => F
Tip: AsuraZoma is not necessary; Watabou or GranSlime work too,
but you may as well breed AsuraZoma now. GranSlime is torture anyway
and can wait. Unless you *want* to breed *16 more pairs* of Metalys...
Watabou is too precious to use, as you only get one per game.
Why is AsuraZoma worth increasing the amount of breeding by half**?
For one thing AZ learns GigaSlash naturally and will pass it on to
DarkDrium..
The main reason, however, is simply that AZ is used to breed nothing else.
That is, any breeding combination with AZ other than DM3 x AZ
will result either in the base monster, another AZ, or a non-BOSS monster
that could be bred much more easily. All of which is to say that, given
that breeding DarkDrium already takes a while,
taking 50% longer** to breed a monster you would never breed otherwise
won't hurt...much. :P
In the meantime you can raise DM3 until it learns its parent DM2's
Ultradown
DeMagic. You can then breed DM3 with a Rainhawk for both Surge and
MegaMagic.
**IMPORTANT NOTE BELOW
MUDOU
Hargon = WhiteKing x MetalKing¹
Baramos = Hargon x Orochi¹
Mudou = Baramos x Gorago¹ => F
Tip: Gorago is one of the easier "Boss+" monsters to breed
("Boss+" refers to the rarest monsters not in DWM1, often bred from a
FAMILY x BOSS monster such as ArcDemon.)
Simply breed a BEAST with DL and breed the resulting Darkhorn with another
DL.
DEATHMORE & DARKDRIUM
DeathMore1* = Mirudraas2 x Zoma
DeathMore2* = DeathMore1 x Armorpion¹
DeathMore3* = DeathMore2 x Mudou
DarkDrium* = DeathMore3 x AsuraZoma
AS OF YET, THE FOLLOWING NOTE APPLIES ONLY TO COBI'S JOURNEY
¹Can be recruited from foreign masters or can be bred using such monsters; no
guarantee of desired gender.
* indicates a monster that is listed above:
Some monsters are listed merely for leel reference (see below)
Akubar*, Armorpion*, Blizzardy, DarkHorn*, Grendal
KiteHawk, MetalKing*, Orochi*, Phoenix, Rosevine*,
Serpentia*, Shantak, Skulgon, Unicorn; I also came across Jamirus once.
You need certain levels of monsters with you;
I had an Orochi (mid50s), MetalDrak (mid30s) and various monsters that I
switched out,
starting with an Akubar. If money is no concern and you happen upon
a fielder (see Section 1.3) with any of the following, your party is somewhere
around the reqd level total,
though I make no guarantee of encountering them all;
once my Orochi hit the upper 50s some of them stopped showng up
while others kept appearing. In all cases one sirloin and one or two ribs did
the trick:
Look for Grendals in foreign master teams. At that point you should be close
to the right level totol. If you see Rosevine or MetalKing, you're there!
- MetalKing is a "mostly harmless" nightmare with low(er) HP, immunity to
StopSpell, high evasion, and Revive.
To recruit, use a Meteorb at once and hope your team doesn't get too lucky and
hit it.
Then use WarCry nonstop while you take out the other two monsters,
and only then can you use autofight.
- Orochi is another nightmare. It sometimes has MegaMagic.
I advise strongly against trying to recruit from a team with both Orochi and
MetalKing.
- Akubar is resistant to StopSpell but can be poisoned,
and sometimes paralyzed.
- Serpentia has Warcry and Sandstorm.
- Shantak has Meditate and uses it often. Skip to the chase and use EvilSlash,
MegaMagic, etc.
- Phoenix and Blizzardy are rather fragile. Avoid skills that attack all
monsters,
unless they are fire- or ice-based like WhiteFire/Air.
Assuming you have finally bred DarkDrium,
CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE FINALLY BRED DARKDRIUM****!
Yes, he looks like a sun-bleached Durran. Disappointing, I know.
Depending on precisely which monsters you used and which skills they kept,
DarkDrium may learn different skills, but the following are guaranteed,
assuming neither parent is a DarkDrium:
Inherited from DM3: BigBang DeMagic Focus
Natural: Bolt FireAir FrigidAir
Depending on the other parent, DarkDrium is also guaranteed one of the following
sets:
Inherited from AsuraZoma: FireAir Focus GigaSlash
Inherited from GranSlime: Farewell Focus Informer
Inherited from Watabou: Chance Imitate Whistle
Now before you go breeding DarkDrium with another monster for its skills, let me
repeat:
MAKE SURE DARKDRIUM IS THE BASE MONSTER OR YOU WILL NOT GET ANOTHER DARKDRIUM
AND WILL HAVE TO START ALL OVER!!!!!
So...that leaves Genosidoh, Orgodemir2, and, if you were impatient,
AsuraZoma...Well? Get breeding!

NOTES TO BREEDING DARKDRIUM
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
*Yes, she. IDK why, I just think Titanis sounds like a she name.
In any case, you will need a female Titanis unless you plan on blessing the
Sidoh egg. Which reminds me:
YOU WILL NEED TO BLESS A LOT OF EGGS; ALL OR MOST OF THE BOSS FAMILY IS MALE BY
DEFAULT.
Having said that, ALWAYS EVALUATE THESE EGGS, at least on your first time
breeding DarkDrium, Orgodemir and GenoSidoh.
I kept forgetting to check the gender when breeding Xaron**, and that was bad
enough.
This would be a nightmare. Evaluating is cheap anyway; it's the blessing that's
expensive.
See Section 1.5a for specifics and tips for leveling up new monsters.
*Xaron, a female MetalDrak I named after Sharon den Adel, is my "utility"
monster.
I bred her specifically for the skills EagleEye, Errand, Informer, MapMagic,
Outside, StepGuard and Transform.
**ASURAZOMA cont'd
I don't actually know how much longer it takes, which would depend
on how you do it all anyway, but it's a lot.
Assuming you just happen to already have all the monsters listed above,
breeding DM3 takes 18 breedings, and AZ takes 13.
Watabou takes only 1, so AZ would indeed increase the breeding by ~50%.
In DWM1, Watabou was the only option, which is why I am considering
DM3 x Watabou the 'correct' breeding formula.
If you just don't have the patience, you could try out jonahstrix' hack;
in the new Sky world, Pizzaro can be found where there are supposed
to be CoilBird and MadDragon. The fights are slightly tougher though, and
Jonahstrix made it so certain monsters must ae bred before they appear in the
wild,
and even then ??? family monsters appear rarely.
I suggest getting your Durran and Divinegon in the original, making a copy
of your save file, renaming it as needed, breeding Pizzaro in the hack,
(WITHOUT HATCHING IT, in case you should need a female eventually)
and recruiting 4-5 Pizzaros before restoring the original file name,
although you need only two for AZ; you will need two more for Orgodemir,
and a couple extra wouldn't hurt. You will need two sirloin or a Meteorb each
time.
For example, Rockboy saves the regular game as DWM2_C-1.rbs,
and the hack as DWM2U-1.rbs. I copy and paste the first to a seperate folder,
rename it DWM2U-2.rbs (or whichever number I want). I then start the hack up
and load the new save file.
To continue with the regular game, I simply restore the original name to the
hack's save file
and load it from the regular game.
Depending on the emulator you use, file names may be different
and the process may not be quite as simple to get through;
Rockboy is a port of GnuBoy, and I can never find the save files when using
Gnuboy.
***DARKDRIUM BEFORE ICE KEY
Or you can breed DarkDrium the REALLY hard way:
restricting travel to just the Oasis and Pirate Key worlds.
Quite recently somebody did this little-known feat
and a lot of people called them a liar, saying it was impossible.
It is quite possible, and here is how:
DL = DracoLord1, meaning first you will need
to breed a Servant and an Andreal. All usable monsters are given;
monsters with * are more or less necessary:
DL= Servant x Andreal
Servant: Skeletor x Skeletor
Skeletor: MadSpirit x DRAGON
or BoneSlave x BoneSlave
MadSpirit: ZOMBIE x DRAGON
BoneSlave: DeadNite x Gremlin
DeadNite: ZOMBIE x DEVIL
Gremlin: DEVIL x BEAST
Andreal: DRAGON x Gulpple
Gulpple: PLANT x DEVIL
Akubar*: Grendal x Grendal
Grendal: Gremlin x BEAST
Armorpion*: HornBeet x HornBeet
HornBeet: StagBug x Stagbug
StagBug: BUG x MATERIAL
Azurile: RainHawk x DL
RainHawk*: Blizzardy x Phoenix/Vampirus
Blizzardy: BIRD x IceMan
IceMan: MetalDrak x WhiteKing
MetalDrak: MATERIAL x Andreal
WhiteKing*: ZOMBIE x DL
Phoenix: BIRD x LavaMan
LavaMan: MetalDrak x ArcDemon
ArcDemon: DEVIL x DL
Vampirus: Pteranod x Pteranod
Pteranod: DRAGON x BIRD; Pirate
DarkMate: GoldGolem x MetalKing
GoldGolem: IceMan x LavaMan
Divinegon*: SkyDragon x Orochi
SkyDragon: DRAGON x Phoenix
Orochi*: DRAGON x DL
GateGuard: Demonite x Demonite
Demonite: DEVIL x BIRD
Gorago*: DarkHorn x DL
DarkHorn: BEAST x DL
GranSlime: GoldSlime x GoldSlime
GoldSlime*: MetalKing x MetalKing
MetalKing: Metabble x Metabble
Metabble: Metaly x Metaly
Metaly: SLIME x MetalDrak
MetalKing: SpotKing x MetalDrak
SpotKing: SpotSlime x SpotSlime
(result must be +5 or better or you will just get another SpotSlime.
SpotSlime: SLIME x BEAST; Oasis
Tip: If you seriously want to use GranSlime, breed it before everything else.
KingLeo*: Trumpeter x Trumpeter
Trumpeter: WildApe x WildApe
WildApe: BEAST x MadPecker
MadPecker: BIRD x DEVIL
Orligon*: Divinegon x GoldGolem
Poseidon: Grakos x Mudou, but why use Poseidon when Mudou works too?
Grakos: WATER x DL
Rosevine*: PLANT x DL
Serpentia: GreatDrak x Lionex
GreatDrak: Dragon x Dragon (resulting monster must be +5 or more)
or DragonKid x DragonKid (resulting monster must be +5 or more)
Dragon: DragonKid x DragonKid
DragonKid: DRAGON x SLIME; Pirate
Lionex: ArcDemon x ZOMBIE
Titanis: Durran x DarkHorn
Durran*: Centasaur x GoldGolem or vice versa
Centasaur: ArcDemon x DRAGON
I would tell you how many monsters it takes to breed DarkDrium this way,
but that *might actually* discourage you. ;P
Also, I can't hold that many numbers in my head at once.
I will make a totally randomly vague but astonishingly accurate guess and say
between 36 and 17,294.
****There is yet another way to breed DarkDrium,
one that ensures maximal resistance to everything!
For more info, see DD's Resistance Breeding guide
on GameFAQs. Be warned, it is slightly technical,
but the method it gives works. If you know what it is saying.
Otherwise you gotta breed a DarkDrium with GranSlime.
And breed the result with another Granslime. And so on.
You can stop eventually. But idk when. ¦D

These numbers will NOT make sense to you whatsoever unless you read the

game before, you probably won't know what the proceeding numbers mean.

=============================================================================
MONSTER RESISTANCES ---------------------------------------------------------
=============================================================================
Monster Resistances are a lot easier to understand. They range from 0 to 3,
0 being the WEAKEST resistance to that group of spells, 3 being the STRONGEST
resistance to that group of spells. The groups are as follows:
I take no credit for the grouping of these resistances. They were done
completely by Jimeous.
RK: I have rearranged the ordering of monters a follows:
FAMILY x ??? monsters and the new 4* monsters are last.-
-Of the remaining monsters in a family, those with some amount
of resistance to everything go just before the above.
-All other monsters go first, with any monsters of note going last.
First come the majority of the bird family.
Next are Rainhawk, which has a resistance to
all classes of skills, and its parents.
Then Shantak, which also has a resistance to all skills.
ZapBird is the family's x??? monster.
Finally, Azurile, the rarest Bird monster. It also has some level
of resistance to every skill class, as the rarest member(s) of
each family often do.
Particular areas of rsistance will be in []
NOTE: The ??? family has its own order.
##Eventually I will put any "great monsters" before resistant monstes.##
For information on Resistance Breding, see DwM2_DD's guide
until I can incorporate it into mine.
xii. Call Monsters
These are Call monsters and are in the game's data but
cannot be bred. They have resistances nonetheless,
and, consequentially, weaknesses.

Note: Manually directing a monster raises a
personality trait more than it lowers another.
Motivation determines the precise amounts,
higher motivation encouraging trait growth
and limiting trait reduction, and low motivation
doing the opposite. Manual direction also
lowers motivation itself. Fleeing a battle lowers
boh motivation and bravery. Using staffs may
have some negative effect on personality,
too, though I don't know what exactly.
Personality Effects
High Bravery: Higher crit rate on physical attack
High Prudence: Chance to ignore enemy resistance to status effects
High Caring: Chance to use healing skills w/o consuming MP
High Motiv.(max 255): Chance to deal more damage
Also increases likelihood of CoOp activation (§_).
Low Bravery: Chance to take a little less damage
Low Prudence: Chance to retaliate when hit
Low Caring: Chance to evade an attack; an ally will take the hit
Low Motiv.: Chance to evade an attack
Given the interplay between all of this,
there are things that maybe nobody knows,
such as whether an unsuccessful attempt
to flee lowers bravery or motivation, and
if so, by how much, and whether this also
applies to dead monsters. I have no idea
how to get a hex editor, much less use one,
so don't expect much of this section to change.
Personality Compatibility
Compatibility between personalities is not really important except
in two things. First is Link breeding (§_}. If the monsters chosen to breed
have incompatible personalities, they will not mate.
Second is CoOp skills (§_). If monsters have compatible skills
that can combine in battle, but their personalities
are incompatible, the CoOp skill will not be performed.
The compatible personalities for CoOps are presumably the same*
as the ones for link breeding, I would think, but
McBick's CoOp guide never says so exlicitly.
*Except Lazy; McBick says Lazy monsters cannot participate in CoOps.
NOTE: Either AWJackson or Rena Chan has mixed up Eager and Earnest.
I also screwed up seveal times. Since hardly anybody is going to
need this, I will fix it later. I am having to verify consistency
by checking for diagonal symmetry, which is hard when
the screen shows only nine of 27 rows and columns at a time,
fixed spacing still isn't square, and there is no color option.

Monsters can be bred once they reach lvl 10.
The parent monsters will be lost to you.
Usually the Breeding menu will tell you the identity of the new monster.
???????? indicates a monster of high rarity that you have never had.
Once you have bred the monster, its name will be given in future.
Eggs are included in the farm's monster count.
Breed: Free!
Hatch: $10 + $10 x the plus value.
Evaluate: $20
Bless: $20 + $20 x the plus value, ie double the hatching fee.
A +99 monster therefore costs $3k to bless and hatch!
GROWTH RATE? MAX LVL?

While the following method of quickly leveling monsters is ideal for when
speed-breeding,
it is a good start even when you have a new monster that you intend to keep for
a long time.
WARNING: IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU COMPLET THE ELF WORLD BEFORE THIS.
- If you are breeding DarkDrium and were in the Elf world the last time you
used a LogTwig because it was such a hassle getting
anywhere, I suggest you go ahead and catch a bunch of StagBugs and breed a
female Armorpion.
Or you can recruit one from a batte with a foreign master.
- Once this is done, or if you don't mind crossing the whol Elf world, or you
use Repellent,
go to the Sky Key world. Go to Hitano and buy a LogTwig.
- Go northwest and take the tunnel north. Go irectly north one screen.
You should be just directly east of the are with a bunch of boulders. Use the
LogTwig. You are now set.
- Once you've hatched a monster, add it to your party.
I personally choose my lv50 Orochi+4, my Xaron, and the new monster for this.
- Go to the Sky world and go west to the boulders. Smash them all.
If you smash them all without being attacked, just go west one screen and then
go back.
- Keep smashing boulders until you are attacked.
- The next step should be obvious. Continue smashing boulders until the new
monster is levl 10.
- Go back to GreatLog and breed the next monster. Repet this process.
There are several things that make the boulder area ideal for farming
experience points:
1. The monsters in the area won't kill your new monster immediately unless
Gigantes uses EvilSlash.
Or they shouldn't. If they do, you're breeding from scratch. Don't; only
breed a monster that you will need if you can't get it
via a Key world, or they only appear with the wrong gender. So: Andreal?
Catch a female, breed a male.
Metaly? Catch the male, breed the female. SkyDragon? No breeding necessary
for either gender. Orochi? Breed it.
(Actually, you could throw a Meteorb at a foreign master's team
if hit has Orochi but then you would have to be able to survive its
MegaMagic
so as to defeat it last. And then whatever you brreed from it
would be expensive to hatch.)
2. Occasionally a Metaly will attack. For now, don't bother rying to catch it.
Just attack and with luck you'll be able to
level up a lv1 monster straight to lv10 and maybe even 11 or 12.
3. You may have wondered what the boulder-smashing is all about.
The answer is: TinyMedals. Usually you willfind nothing, sometimes money.
More often than one would expect, however, you'll find a TM (if you play
Pokemon, don't confuse TinyMedal for a TM.)
I once found a TM on each of three consecutlve visits to the boulders.
4. Gigantes is one of those monsters that can be used to breed many rare
monsters. You will likely be able to use several.
Andreal is another such monster, and can be found by going southeast to
Hitano
and taking the portal to the castle. Andreal (female) and Lionex abound
around here.
through the boulders and making your way north to the MadCvndor's nest,
§1.4b DREAM EGGS (Not to be confused with WonderEgg) ++INCOMPLETE++
Dream Eggs are eggs left by dying Travelers who got lost in a dungeon.
They are exceedingly rare as Travelers quickly learned not to take such large
objects with them.
As it is, many years of fetal dormancy have taken their toll on the monsters
within.
Much like the caterpillar, which literallyliquefies into a soup of DNA once
enclosed in its cocoon,
the monster inside a Dream Egg is nothing like anything that might hatch from
it.
In fact, the monster must be given an identity!
This is done by gifting the egg items. The egg must then be traded multiple
times for it to hatch.
Okay, so I exaggerated. Fine, I actually made most of it up. But only *most* of
it.
Dream Eggs really *are* extremely rare dungeon treasures. They do have to be
traded in order to
hatch, and feeding items is expected and recommended, if not necessary.
Exactly how different items determine what monster will hatch is disputed.
Also disputed is whether Dimensaur, Lamia and Kagebou can be obtained this way
(see §_).
Here is a list of every item that can be given, with a hesitant but informed
guess at ther effect.
I highly doubt that the three special monsters can be obtained from Dream Eggs.
##Currently all I have here is the regular effect of items, not their effect on
Dream Eggs.##
Note: Although everybody including me uses the term "Ring",
the proper term is "Bangle", according to the Instruction Booklet.

Slime x Bigroost = Wonderegg
SLIME x Watabou = Kagebou*
SLIME x Warubou = Kagebou

Vampirus x Azurile = Lamia*
Dragon x Darck = Dimensaur*
Almiraj x Aquahawk = Bigroost
Almiraj x Kitehawk = Bigroost
Hammerman x ArmyAnt = Gohopper
Hammerman x StagBug = Gohopper
*RK: Dimensaur, Kagebou and Lamia were mosters given as prizes in a
Nintendo Power contest.
Although one would expect them to belong to the Dragon, Plant and Bird
families,
all three are ???-Family monsters, and they function this way when breeding.
However, the Rare Key man will not react to them. In fact, none gets an entry
in the Library's monster catalog, nor do they count towards your befriended
monster count.
§1.5b jonahstrix'S DWM2 ULTIMATE HACK
In addition to BCRobert's changes:
Dragon x DarkMate = Dimensaur
Puppetor x DEVIL = Sabreman
Kitehawk x BEAST = Bigroost
Foohero x Darck = Warubou
Warubou x Slime = Watabou
Phoenix x CloudKing = Lamia
Blizzardy x CloudKing = Lamia
ZapBird x CloudKing = Lamia
Beastnite x PomPomBom = Copycat
Beastnite x FoxFire = Copycat
§1.5c PERSONAL SUGGESTIONS
In case the reader is interested in creating a hack of their own,
and like me is dissatisfied with the apparent randomness of the above breeding
pairs
Shadow x MistyWing = CopyCat instead of RotRaven (ZOM x BRD)
[ZOMBIE] x MadMirror = CopyCat instead of Shadow (ZOM x MAT)
[BUG] x CopyCat = GoHopper instead of Lipsy, but see MadHornet -- If possible,
remove Transform
[SLIME] x CopyCat = Slime instead of Healer -- If possible, remove Transform
[BIRD] x CopyCat = BigRoost instead of Phoenix -- If possible, remove Transform
Slime x BigRoost = WonderEgg
[???] x WonderEgg = Darck
Darck x Orligon = Dimensaur instead of Darck
Darck x Azurile = Lamia instead of Darck
Darck x Egdracil = Kagebou instead of Darck
Egdracil x WonderEgg = Warubou instead of MadPlant
Warubou x WonderEgg = Watabou
Watabou x Warubou = Kagebou
And this last one is obviously absolutely necessary:
GranSlime x DarkDrium = WonderEgg (MaxLvl 999, 1 EXP per level,
learns MegaMagic, GigaSlash and DeMagic naturally at lvl999, cannot gain
less than 999 EXP from battles, cannot gain EXP on farm, serial bachelor)
(Surely somebody is willing to press the A button 3999 times after one battle. I
would.)
Some of my original breeding formulas seemed to time-consuming.
I have changed the formulas for Dimensaur, Lamia and Kagebou to
make them easier to breed and, given Darck's hobby and
the fact that they are also ??? family monsters, to make
the formulas logical. These are merely suggestions, though,
so everything is up to the hacker. I also added an endgame breeding pair.
Definitely take it very seriously.
This is a condensed version of Part ? of Jimeous' walkthrough.
I have replaced the FROM SKILL column with COST and ACC columns.
Note that ACCURACY is not actually a stat nor a requirement.
(¹/²) = Derived from other skills
¹| Derived from 1 other skill
²| Derived from 2 or more skills
LV = Lowest Level you will learn skill if all stats met
HPs = Lowest HPs needed to get Skill
MPs = Lowest MPs needed to get Skill
ATK = Lowest ATK needed to get Skill
DEF = Lowest DEF needed to get Skill
AGL = Lowest AGL needed to get Skill
INT = Lowest INT needed to get Skill
FROM SKILL = REMOVED; See next section
COST = The MP cost of the Skill
ACC = accuracy of the Skill or its effects*, assuming target has
average AGL and no resistance, and no Bounce, etc.
or Guardian, etc. Not a stat.
- N/A (Heal, etc)
0 Can miss or be evaded due to Radiant, Surround, etc.
1 Can miss/be evaded or fail just because (RNG)
2 Can target self/allies or deals damage to target and self
3 Under conditions specified above, guaranteed to hit
4 Guaranteed to hit, usually a multi-target skill
_ Assume 3 unless you know otherwise.
*Eg, a monster can evade their own attack if it is deflected by TailWind.
| | LV | HPs | MPs | ATK | DEF | AGL | INT | COST |
| Min. Req. | 1* | 21 | 7 | 31 | 30 | 30 | 11 | COST |
| Max. Req. | 38 | 231 | 224 | 198 | 156 | 198 | 794 | COST |
| Max.** | 99***| 999 | 999 | 999 | 999 | 999 | 999 |
*Since monsters that have been bred have no skills at first,
I'm not entirely sure how Jimeous determined this or what it even means.
**The maximum value possible to attain.
This requires tons of breeding and leveling,
and/or tons of Seeds, but it has been done many times.
***EXP still increases and maxes out at (9?)9999999.
After much thought, I have decided not to include a skill analysis section.
This would require a rework of both the breeding and skill tables
to allow for stat interactions, crit and evasion rates, etc. Not only
do I lack the time and dedication required for this,
it would be useless to the casual gamer and ruin
the fun of the gme.
*MetalCut does not deal severe damage to all monsters in a particular family,
but rather to the metal Slimes.
FIELD SKILLS - Utility skills of no combat value.
These are distinct from skills like Heal, Antidote or CurseOff
which can be used both during as well as outside of battle.
| SKILL (MP) | LV | MP | INT | DESC |
| Pheromone (0) | 4 | 28 | 44 | Attracts monsters of opposite gender
| Whistle (0) | 4 | 28 | 44 | Attracts monsters
| EagleEye (0) | 10 | 40 | 62 | Indicates prescence of items.
| Informer (0) | 10 | 40 | 62 | Identifies monsters in the area
| Errand (2) | 10 | 40 | 62 | Gets a random item for $100
| MapMagic (2) | 10 | 40 | 62 | Reveals part of the map
| Outside (2) | 10 | 40 | 62 | Skill equivalent of ExitBell
| StepGuard (2) | 10 | 40 | 62 | Prevents damage from tiles
The game manual ("Instruction Booklet") also includes Aaah and Chance
among the skills that can be used outside of battle,
but they can't.
Having 2 or 3 monsters with most or all of these skills between them
would be good for recruiting trips to Key worlds, especially since they cost
little to no MP.
Skills with a * are especially useful. I myself have two MetalKings, one of
either gender with all
these field skills, except Whistle, and with Transform; and a MetalDrak (named
Xaron, after
Sharon den Adel :P ) with Whistle instead of Pheremone.
§2.1.2b PREVENTIVE SKILLS ++INCOMPLETE++
These Skills prevent the enemy from using certain kinds of Skills, or nullify
their effects
McBick says that only monsters with compatible personalities
will perform these. I am too lazy to test this so I will
assume this to be correct. As such, everything in this
section is based on his work.
According to McBick, there are 20 skill combos in DWM2,
10 in CJ and 10 in TA. The 10 in CJ are more offensive
while the ones in TA are defensive. This makes sense,
as the two towers of Mordor and Isengard contain
orcs of an offensive nature and orcs of a defensive
nature, respectively. Oops, did I say that? Now I
have to add to the legal stuff. I meant monsters. Monsters
in the Power and Soul Towers. Additionally, the general
consnsus is that the wild monsters exclusive to each
version follow this pattern, as do the foreign masters'
orcs, I mean monsters:
Names in quotation marks are unofficial, some were given by McBick.

MegaMagic, MPassmost and Sacrifice should be assigned *VERY* carefully.

WARNING:
Sacrifice should NOT be learned by all 3 monsters, unless
all three have both high Intelligence (not INT) and high Caring,
and even then it is quite risky.
TARA VERSION
"LifeSpirit" (LifeSong + Hustle)
Effect: All allies are healed entirely (as if returned to GreatLog)
Description: MonsterX and MonsterY sang and danced to summon a spirit!
"CurseDance" (Curse + KODance)

"BeDraco" (Transform + Chance)
Effect: Stronger BeDragon (999HP, 300MP, EvilSlash, Eerielite, SuckAll)
Target: MonsterX/Y
Description: MonsterX and MonsterY turned into a huge dragon!
Note: Unless resistances etc also change, or you
at under 300 MP, this CoOp skîll will be
pretty useless if monsters are already 999HP; odds are such
a monster has more than 300 MP, but this would
effectively cost whatever amount over 300,
as its MP will be left at 300 or less until restored.
It would, however, be interesting to use this in
a linked battle in order to see whether the
dragons look different from the BeDragon one.
"Twilight Trip" (Surge + UltraDown)
Effect: Applies TwinHits, Increase, SpeedUp, and Sidestep buffs.
Target: All Allies
Description: MonsterX and MonsterY turned their skills into a wave of energy!
MonsterX/Y/Z became flush with power!

MonsterX/Y/Z's spells, dances, and breaths are sealed!
"RobVacuum" (RobMagic + RobDance)
Effect: Drains all MP, ignoring resistances.
Target: All Enemies
Description: MonsterX and MonsterY created a vaccuum for stealing MP!
"Counter" (BladeD + Dodge)
Effect: Applies BladeD buff, returns twice the damage.
Target: All Allies
Description: MonsterX and MonsterY are looking for a chance!
"Hysteria" (PanicAll + PaniDance)
Effect: Inflicts confusion status, ignoring resistances.
Target: All Enemies
Description: MonsterX and MonsterY danced in an alluring fashion!
"IronWall" (Guardian + StrongD)
Effect: Applies Guardian and StrongD buffs.
Target: MonsterX/Y
Description: MonsterX and MonsterY are shielding a partner!
"Enlightenment" (Focus + Meditate)
Effect: Applies Focus buff and all attacks are criticals next turn.
Target: All Allies
Description: MonsterX and MonsterY began to concentrate!
Suggested team skill setup:
LifeSong and Hustle ought to be learned by all 3 monsters, but
any combination works, though Guardian should be assigned carefully.
For reasons given at the end of §2.1.1, I won't go very far into how to
maximize the chances of triggering CoOps. All you need to know
is the following:
- Monster personalities matter. Presumably any pair
of monsters that can (or could, if gender were unimportant)
Link Breed (see §) can also contribute to a CoOp, UNLESS
one (or both) is Lazy, at least according to McBick.
- Monster motivation matters. The more you utilize the
FIGHT option in battle, and the less you FLEE, the
higher a monster's motivation, which McBick says can be
anywhere from 0 to 255. See §_.
A word of caution: CoOps are not always the most desirable use of a turn.
Martyr is worse than useless if a surviving enemy goes next.
Now that I think about it, tLotR is Disney now, so nothing needs
to be added to the disclaimer. Besides, it's just Disney.

The new version of this section assumes you already know all
about the features of key worlds. I am just providing
tables and stuff.
§3.1a KEY NAMES: RARITY
The first part indicates rarity. Rarity in turn
indicates the level and rarity of a world's monsters.
The following table names the 16 rarities listed
in order of increasing rarity. Read normally,
ie left to right, top to bottom in that order
of priority.
+-------+-------+-------+-------+
| Ylw | Plain | Green | Blue |
+-------+-------+-------+-------+
| First | Red | White | Quiet |
+-------+-------+-------+-------+
| Black | Gaudy | Silvr | Dream |
+-------+-------+-------+-------+
| Misty | Secrt | Shiny | Last |
+-------+-------+-------+-------+
§3.1b KEY NAMES: MONSTERS
The second part indicates what monster families
inhabit a world. There are usually two, but
there are some with only one. Rarest among these
are Lord Keys, which lead to worlds inhabited
by ??? monsters. ??? monsters cannot be
recruited, but give lots of EX. (Doesn't the
name DreamLord sound awesome?)
The table below gives the names for all
keys. Capitalized names indicate keys to
single-family housing, I mean worlds. For
obvious reasons, nothing has been labeled ;P
There are a theoretical total of 896 types of Magic Keys,
although low-rarity Lord Keys may be impossible to obtain.
Silv[e]r is the lowest I've heard of.
NOTE: In Death, Grave, Hell and Jail worlds, everybody in villages and castles
is a skeleton, but fielders are not.
This might be true of other Zombie worlds as well.
§3.2 FIELDER TRIGGERS
"Fielders" are what I call anybody in the field in a key world.
Bard: EXP ends in same 3 digits (BUT Healer, Priest take priority)
Bunny Girl: ??? (Only seen once in my experience,
and I'm not even sure of that, as I only noticed just
before screen change)
Casino Ship: ???
Casino Prizes (Cost: 100)
+---+-----+-----+-----+
| A | AB_ | AAB | AAA |
+---+-----+-----+-----+
| X | - | - | 200 | = +100 net gain
Triangle = | ^ | - | - | 500 | = +400 net gain
Square = | # | - | - | 1 k | = +900 net gain
| O | - | 50 |TinyM| = TinyMedal
Star = | * | - | 100 |MeteO| = MeteOrb, worth 5k
+---+-----+-----+-----+ (Sells for 3750)
|^NO PROFIT^|
+-----------+
Healer: Money?
Mage: ??? (I have NEVER seen this guy)
Merchant: ???
Priest: HP below a certain value OR Repellent used
Warrior: [EX to next level is less than a certain value?]
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you have read Rena Chan's Magic Key guide,
try to remember what she said about geographic
landmarks. Then forget it. There are only a few
constants in Magic Key worlds.
- There is always a town or castle near the gate shrine.
- There is always at least one dungeon in each world.
- There is always a boss or miniboss on each large island.
And that's really it. I have found islands with no
landmarks or structures, islands with two kings,
worlds with absolutely no towns or villages.
At this point I would not be surprised if
Milayou, Terry and Kameha appeared in
a world 's village.
BUILDING A MONSTER
This section has also been revised for simplicity.
Increasing Basic Stats
- Leveling (99)
- Metaly (West Sky)
- Seeds
-LifeAcorn x<200
-MysticNut x<200
-AtkSeed x<333
-DefSeed x<333
-AglSeed x<333
-IntSeed x<333
- Bard medecine (x<300) (Random Key)
- Slow farming: use only monsters with unmaxed EX
- Required Keys: Oasis; Pirate & Ice optional.
- Quick farming: use a monster with 9999999EX
WARNING! MISTREATMENT OF MONSTERS AHEAD
Another rather nifty but inhumane trick you can try is
to get a monster's XP count to a proper value. Get a
BadMeat and feed it to the monster. (I did
it would be inhumane). Get a few repellents
and go to a random key world. Use the repellent.
Wander around until you find a bard. If the monster
isn't dead yet (and protests that he feels happy),
then once you are in battle, *do everything you
can to get that monster killed* (again, I did
warn you). If you can accomplish this *and*
still win, you can do it again and again.
(just don't tell PETA). Of course, this does
come at the cost of no stat boost for that
monster. However, if you lure an enemy monster
into joining you, it will also get a stat boost,
though you will need to return to GreatLog
in order to retrieve the trigger monster,
and then let it die again. If you do try this, make
sure the sacrifice isn't already dead (=ZOMBIE).
BUGs and other specific monsters may
also be resistant to poison.
A monster is guaranteed to have maxed stats after 300 battles with a bard,
assuming it is always alive to receive the stat boost.
§4 FAQs: Fatuous & Annoying Questions
Because they so often are. Of course, good/urgent questions
never get answered.
Q: Can Dimensaur, Lamia and Kagebou be bred or hatched without a hack?
A: I don't know. There is at least one allegedly confirmed rumor of a way to do
this,
but every trail of claims of reports of supposedly alleged confirmations of
such
a rumor or rumors has led me to a source that no longer exists
(eg a person in a chat forum who either stopped visiting the site or
actually closed their user account)
and invariably never provided any level of proof. So the real answer is
that I doubt it, but cannot say definitively.
Q: Why won't my monters mate?
A: 1. They must be opposite genders. Duh.
2. They must be at least level 10.
3. It's extremely rude to watch this kind of pot boil,
and not nearly as interesting/fun as when watching humans do it anyway.
Unless monsters do it like anglerfish, which is very interesting but
hardly fun.
<To self: "Monster pervert">
For greatest emoticon effect, turn screen 90º COUNTER-clockwise (<¬)
Q: How do I breed Pikachu?
A: ... | ¦|
Q: What about Augumon?
A: ... ) ¦|
Q: Or Exodia?
A: ... ) ¦{
Q: A puppy?
A: THIS ISN'T NINTENDOGS!
Q: Can I--
A: NO!
Q: I didn't even finish...
A: ...Fine...go ahead...
Q: Can I fuse monsters?
A: Yes, except it's called "breeding".
Q: But that's not the same thing...
A: [Bill Murray voice] I CARE!!!
Q: Fine, fine...Can I--
A: THIS ISN'T BAKUGAN!
Q: How did you know!?!
A: Just...shut up. Please.
Q: How do I get a ROM of DWM2?
A: A good question. And as I said, good questions are never answered.
Q: That's so stupid, I can't even.
A: It is, so you don't have to even.
Q: Then why...?
A: Because it's....
Q: It's......?
A: Yes, it's....
Q: Why are you talking that way?
A: I thought you wanted to.
Q: No.
A: Suit yourself. I'm easy.
Q: So why?
A: Why what?
Q: Why won't you tell me where to get a ROM?
A: Because it's illegal.
Q: Oh... Can you hide it in the gulde?
A: No, not on purpose. It's probably in The Bible though.
Q: What!?
A: JFK's assassination is there, surely this
information is, too. The Declaration of
Independence probably has it too. If you
can find a copy of The Vivian Girls, that
should work, too. Unless you know French.
If you do, DON'T use that book.
Nearly everything in this guide is based on the work of the following
individuals,
and my gratitude is as reat as Cthulhu is old:
AWJackson, for DWM1 gender probability info, when I find it; I know I saw it
somewhere.
I didn't think the leveling stat increments could really be useful, they are
what they
are, so I didn't include those. If anybody really wants them, they can go to
AWJackson's
guide for DWM1, but I make no guarantee of continuity into DWM2.
Jimeous, for the breeding and skill tables
I can't believe he didn't do what anybody else (except me) would have done
and test all 94,675+ breeding combinations. That is just lazy.
Dragonlord, now Ambios, for their monster stat tables
I couldn't think of anything snarky and sarcastic to say, because there was
clearly
very little effort put into it: there were only two typos. At least his
walkthrough
for Tara's Adventure had typos.
McBick, for their extensive info on skill mechanics.
If it hadn't been so damn extensive I would be living in blissful ignorance
of the vast amount of misinformation I worked so hard to collect.
Rena Chan, for their work on Key worlds and Link breeding
(Sounds like she bred her own Hyrulian hero the Mad Max: Fury Road way,
doesn't it?
I can't really say for sure that she didn't, since I wasn't there...)
DwM2_DD for their resistance breeding work and for not requiring any form of
permission to use it.
Since he left no contact information, I can only assume he is a secret
agent for the FCC and will therefore act like he never existed.
MORE ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:
Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Def Leppard, Fleetwood Mac, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd,
The Who, STP,
basically everybody everybody else my age (genZ) should know about but often
doesn't, astoundingly.
The Birthday Massacre*, Dorothy, Evanescence, Blackmore's Night,
whom you have probably heard of unless you are Swiftie.
UnSun, Amaranthe, I:Scintilla, FAUN, Zombie Girl, Icon for Hire,
The Pretty Reckless, and other music artists you probably haven't heard of.
SPECIAL THANKS: The exremely underrated genre of symphonic metal,
in which 99.9% of the women are absolutely Dorothy-Martin-gorgeous
with voices just as great as Dorothy's, too:
Beynd the Black (Jennifer Haben has a wonderful accent), Delain, Lacuna Coil,
Leave's Eyes, Lunatica,
Edenbridge (Empire of the Sun is great for just sitting and relaxing),
Nemesea, Nightwish*, Sirenia, Tarja, Xandria, Amberian Dawn, Epica, and
especially Within Temptation
(literally everything they do sounds great), BUT NOT KRYPTERIA, their vocalist
whines when she sings.
She's the .1%. And none of these groups are American. Why don't we have anybody
like them?
*I can't think of anything worse than missing these two groups on tour TOGETHER.
Except having their tour postponed due to a pandemic while I have to wait even
longer
for videos to be posted on YouTube. Literally all of their music is great, too.
FUN FACT: This guide was originally just meant to be a way to proselytize about
symphonic metal.
Then I actually started working on it, and forgot.
STILL MORE ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Me, of course. Because penguins.
UNACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:
My college crush's boyfriend; LEGO, for killing Bionicle, their best product
line. Hero Factory SUCKS.
Disney, for ruining literally everything they buy. Doctor Who, for not quitting
at 13.
and everybody else that has made the quality of life worse in the past thirty
years.
Also Kabam, for denying me Goldpool. If I don't get Love Crafted soon, Hidden
Variable
may be added here. Sony, for turning anopportunity to beat Disney into a reason
to stick
it out: Venom. And me, for buying a Steam game I ended up hating instead of
waiting
a year for Borderlands 3. And speaking of games, Telltale, for being stupid.
DISHONORABLE MENTION: Damn Demonkeyrats.
They even made video games political. I will never
play New Leaf. THIS IS YOUR FAULT TOO NINTENDO!

*Not to be confused with Iru and Luca's Mystical Mushroom or whatever for 3DS;
although most breeding info is likely to apply, I make no guarantees.
I hereby deny responsibility for any undesired game behavior, personal injury,
outcomes of current or future elections, natural disasters, mass extinctions,
or
or rips in the fabric of spacetime that may result from the application
of the contents of this guide to Iru & Luca's Heffalump Hunt or whatever for
3DS.
I will never make a guide for I&L's Preposterous Pilgrimage or whatever for 3DS
because I hate the 3DS almost as much as the Switch.
As far as I am concerned handheld gaming died when they removed the GBA GamePak
slot from the DS.
DIS(or PRO-?)CLAIMER
This is a work of parody. Any resemblance real or imagined of characters or
events to reality is
is most likely intentional or intentionally accidentally intentional.. Except
the stuff in the version pseudohistory below.
That's all accidentally intentionally accidental.
This guide may appear on two websites, GameFAQs and IGN. Any copy on another
site will not be kept up to date.
Note that this does not mean it will be on any site at all, only that it
shouldn't be anywhere else.
STILL TO DO:
Reformat and edit/correct borrowed stuff so I don't get sued XO
Realign/center borders
Figure out diffs btween CJ and TA
Dream egg stuff
Finish Keys
Test possible loophole in No Magic req for rogue mage encounter:
Raise monsters to high lvl on farm, lvl up for skills after finding mage?
Look for game scripts online so I don't have to test every combination of skills
Figure out more accurate info on monster locations
Jimeous sometimes specifies locations further away than necessary or
as if there is only one screen with monsters
Add gender specs for monster breeding
Add gender specs for monster locations
Add EXP values to monsters.
Figure out all 94,675 breeding combinations;
divide into 121 charts, one for each family-family pairing;
hope no family has more than 35 monsters
or tridecahexadecimal (base-36, where 35 is Z)
labeling won't work, and I'll have to use Ð Þ ß, etc,
and I know enough Old English to confuse Ð and Þ.
BTW the word "hexadecimal" shouldn't exist.
A word should NEVER have both Latin and Greek stems.
Even "psudohistory" is a stretch.
Realign/center everything again

Something's still missing...oh yeah:
Lets pick a number between 0 and 500...eenie meenie...
08/06/2020 v499.49 Probably not ready
08/06/2020 v500.0.0 Unfortunately adding (-1)^½ changes this document so much
that v499.49+i immediately becomes v500... }:¤
08/07/2020 v5.0.1 Let's abbreviate 500 to just 5
Since it doesnt really matter when anything was
done if the guide is unreleased, I'm just gonna...
08/08/2020 Visited by future self, was
told to stop everything and delete all copies
of this, remagnetize the hard drives, crush them with
a vise, burn the remains, and send whatever is
left to a certain ISA contact who will ensure
it all gets incorporated into numerous warheads
"for the sake of humanity". I ignored him, of course.
Besides, beyond updating the guide as specified
in the previous section I think it's done!
And now I'm just gonna erase it all? lol yeah right.
45/62/3178 this is the futur me i traveled into the future future

3/16/3216 Hi, I'm hiding from my wife and time traveled
here by accident. Anyway this rogueKlyntar guy either has
split personalities, is a great big jerk or is a genius,
possibly all three: nothing he said is true,
the world completely fine, so just enjoy your game.
I gotta wake up go now or somebody will see through the lies
see me. Just wanted to make sure nobody
can be trusted you didn't freak out or anything ;D
And the year has 37 months, not 45.
ADDENDUM: WHO'S BEEN ####ING WITH THE VERSION HISTORY!?!!?
I couldn't change it back, whoever it was did sth to the file.
I can't remember the version history, so I'll just make this v0.1.0
Future entries will be put HERE-¬

Also adding EXP worth.
- Removed upgrades/recipes and reqs from Ambios' skill catalog
- Added Watabou to J's breeding table
- Stuff not worth mentioning, mainly capitalization.
§8 ASCII GALLERY - MANUALLY-TYPED* ASCII RENDERINGS OF SOME MONSTERS
Because I was bored *(except one) and as such my intellectual property.
Eventually I will put these in two columns.
Aquadon
EvilArmor
Lionex
DEATHMORE3, symmetrical (unlike the sprite) I will probably replace B, P or R
with + eventually. I am new at this.
You may use it as long as I am credited.
INVISIGON Do not use under any circumstances. This one took FOREVER;
at one point I mixed up two rows of pixels and didn't realize until later
and had to start all ov--what? You don't see it? It's invisible. Duh
It was a lot of work, I won't let you use it.
