Well, I finished Orangutang-Gang, without any of _your_ help. It actually
wasn't that hard, oh well. Worlds 1-3 are now finished and i also fininshed
King. K. Rool. Now to finish Worlds 4-6. I started part of worlds 4-6, but
none of them are complete. I'll also be going on vacation tommorow, so it
may be a while until the next update.

Pretty big update. I have the walkthrough completed up to world 3 now, with
world 4 being started soon. I only have one request, i left out the bonus
levels in Orangutang-Gang, because i forgot them all. If you could send
those in, it would be appreciated.

SOUND TEST
----------
"Darby Day Code"
Before starting a new game, go to the Game Select screen and highlight the
"Erase Data" option. Press Down, A, R, B, Y, Down, A, and Y. If you enter
the code correctly, you can change the music by pressing Select.
PRACTICE BONUS GAMES
--------------------
"Diddy Code"
Select a saved file. Go into any area that you've completed and lose all of
your lives, then press any button to get off the "Game Over" screen. As soon
as you see Cranky Kong on the screen press, Down, Y, Down, Down, Y. If done
properly, you will go into an area where you can pick up three of any of the
animal statues so that you can load up on extra lives in your choice of
Bonus Stage. To keep the lives you collect here and resume your saved game,
simply press Start to pause, then Select to exit this bonus area.
50 LIVES
--------
"Barral Code"
Before starting game, go to the Game Select screen and highlight the "Erase
Data" option. Now press B, A, R, R, A, L. Then select a file and start
playing. Caution! If the "Erase Game" option is flashing after you've
entered the code, then the erase option is active and you'll erase whichever
file you select. Press Reset and try the code again.
BAD BUDDY CODE
--------------
Go to the Game Select screen and highlight the "Erase Data" option. Then
press B, A, Down, B, Up, Down, Down, Y, and then A. If you have entered the
code correctly, all you'll need to do is press the Select button to do a
high five and regain control from the other player. This code only works in
the Two Player Team Mode.
HIDDEN WARP

As you walk between Coral Capers and Funky's Flights in the Kongo Jungle,
tap the B button very quickly to skip ahead to Orang-Utan Gang in Vine
Valley.

3. Characters

*Donkey Kong*
The star of the game, Donkey Kong's specialty is his strength, he is much
stronger than diddy. On the downside he is not as fast, and cannot jump as
high as diddy. You will find yourself needing him in key situations as you
progress through the game.
-Diddy Kong-
Donkey's Sidekick - Diddy is fast, small, and full of energy. He can fit in
small places, and reach areas Donkey can't. However, he can get thrown
around a bit when Donkey isn't with him.
-Cranky Kong-
"The Best Player Ever", Cranky is a wise old monkey from the early days of
the video game, and hates everything his grandson has gotten involved with.
He gives you hints for this "silly game" when you find him, he also gives
you a few whacks with his cane. I find him to be more of comic relief than
help in this game.
-Funky Kong-
Funky is one hip monkey, he is probably the coolest kong in the game, and
has made a fying barrel plane. You can hop in anytime and travel around,
just as long as you let him know he's da man. Oh yah, he drops a few hints
too, not bad eh?
-Candy Kong-
Hmmm, I wonder why they got rid of her and replaced her with wrinkly
kong...she saves your game for you at any time you find her.
-Rambi-
The rough, tough rhino - Rambi can break anything, kill anything, mame
anything...he is very useful when you need to whoop some kremling butt. he
is also very fast!
-Enguarde-
The cool, blue swordfish - Enguarde is a lot like Rambi...Matter of fact,
it's like having Rambi underwater!
-Expresso-
Yuck...long legged bird who can 'fly' for periods of time, get's killed off
easily by any enemy. Move along...
-Winky-
Another yuck..winky can kill any enemy, and jump extremly high. But his main
strength is his ability to kill bees! however he is hard to control, and
bounces off edges one too many times...

Graphics: 10\10 - Graphics are unbeatable for a SNES 16 bit game!
Sound FX: 10\10 - The sounds effects are great in this game!
Music: 8\10 - Every game has it's flaws, while the music isn't the best,
it's still average.
Control: 10\10 - Smooth, easy control - this is an extremly easy game for
begginers, controlwise
Challenge: 4\10 - To me, this game was very easy to beat, the bonus levels
were a bit hard to find, but not that much. However, this is coming from
someone who beat the game in less than 25 hours. It may be a bit more
challenging for less experienced players.
Gameplay: 10\10 - I've played this game for hours on end, i still play it
now, even though i have N64!
Overall: 8.7\10 - This game has minor flaws, but is an overall great game,
it's no wonder why this game is a multi-million seller players choice game!

7. Special Animal Levels
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
There are 4 special animal levels, here are the locations of the huge 2X
statues, as well as some tips.
Enguarde - From where you start go down and through the rocks to find the
huge enguarde statue.
Rambi - From the start, jump left, then right along the top rocks until you
reach the huge statue of Rambi!
Winky - At the very end of the level, at the top!
Expresso - At the end of the level, jump up the hill on the right, and over
it to the statue!
Tips:
Collect the 2X statue as late as possible, it will give you more overall
lives. E.G.
Get it when you have 300 statues, to have 600, but with only 50 more
statues(350) it doubles to 700!
Collect the statues in groups, don't go after a statue at a time, make a
circle, square, etc around the level to collect the most possible statues.

A. You need a game genie to use them. Plus your cart into the genie, turn
the power on, and enter the codes in.

-General Help-
Nothing hard here, stick to the treetops if you want to, and grab a few
items along the way, no hard enimies, or anything hidden much. Just keep
moving through the level and you'll have no problem.
-Locations Of Bonus Rooms-
1: Right after the rambi crate!
2: Near the tree with the G, if you exited from the earlier bonus level this
one is right where you exit.
-Other Notes-
ZZZZ...boring...

-General Help-
Once again, nothing much to keep you from advancing in this level. make sure
you use donkey to kill army, and watch out for bees at the end. Nothing much
else.
-Locations Of Bonus Rooms-
1: To the right of the tree where the 'O' is, jump off the tree to fall into
a barrel cannon, and be shot to the bonus level.
2: At the very end, before the red arrow sign, fall into the hole, instead
of dying, you will enter a bonus level.
-Other Notes-
Isn't the hail on this level cool? That's the only good part of this BORING,
EASY level. mmmm...cheese!

-General Help-
What, you need help on this level? Saddddd...well if you want some wise
advice from me then here it is: don't die! yuup, that's it, in all honesty
this level is not a problem at all! if you cannot beat it...congrats...you
are the only person in the world to not beat this level!
-Locations Of Bonus Rooms-
1: Below the 'K', there is a wall on the right...
2: After the 'K', before the 'O', and right next to a DK barrel is a bonus
barrel...possiblly the easiest bonus to find in the game.
3: Just after the 'N', next to a few snakes is a wall, there is also a
barrel nearby...you get the idea...
-Other Notes-
The bonus rooms are all you should focus on getting here, everything else is
right out in front of you, begging for you to take, and oh yah, the enimies
don't do much to stop you, except for those bees, watch oout for those guys!
One other side note: I can get to the halfway barrel with my eyes
closed...but that doesn't matter...does it?

-General Help-
Ahhh, finally a level that's semi-hard! I even died here once...wow!
anyways, watch out for the...the uhh ugly octopus-like spinning
things...they can hurt, even while on enguarde! Make sure you get him in
this level...he's right out in the open!
-Bonus Levels-
In case you didn't notice allready from the General Help section, this is a
water level, so there are no bonuses that you must find! Lucky You!
-Other Notes-
Aren't those croctus' cool....next to where you find the 2nd enguarde you
can get stuck in the ocean rockery, and i do mean STUCK, there is one
instance in which you cannot get out! Glitch, bug perhaps? anyone else
besides me notice this? course not... ;)

-General Help-
Just fire yourself from barrel to barrel. That's all this level is. It's all
timing, so i can't help you if you suck ;)
-Bonus Levels-
1. At the first set of barrels, wait until you are at the last barrel and
fire into the cliff! That has to hurt...
2. After a set of barrels, and past a DK barrel. Use the TNT barrel to
explode a wall wide open.
-Other Notes-
You can pass the last half of the level by bouncing off a kremling into a
moving barrel near the N.

|World One Boss|

-Notes-
Well, your fighting one of those beavers, only this time, he's bigger
than you! All he does is walk around though, so..it's not really any
thing to worry about.
-Strategy-
Umm...jump on him ;) No really, that's it. Jump on him 5 times, and he
goes to beaver heaven. After that, your off to Monkey Mines!

1. In plain site near the top of the screen, mid-level. Requires winky or
the nearby vulture to access.

-General Help-
Easy, really. Just dodge the FEW carts, and don't go for the risky prizes
like kong letters. There is a secret barrel at the start, jump off the cliff
and you'll be whisked away to the end of the level.
-Bonus Levels-
1. Secret barrel outlined above.
-Other Notes-
My second favorite level, bested only by the OTHER mine cart level!

-General Help-
This can actually be of some challenge...IF you don't get winky that is.
Just get winky as outlined below and you'll have no trouble. Also note at
the beginning you can use a tire to get a hidden rambi statue.
-Bonus Levels-
1. By the first DK barrel, carry a barrel PAST some bees, and break the wall
nearby. Hard to do...
2. Near midway, where you can go up or down. Either fall down from the top
area to a ledge, or bounce up using the tire in plain sight. Go in and you
have winky!
3. At the end, use winky or the tire to jump up to the barrel in plain
sight.
-Other Notes-
The bees may be of some challenge here, just use winky!

-General Help-
You want help for this level? Ok, walk BACKWARDS at the start, and you'll be
feet from the exit. If you choose to go the "normal" way, just hit the stop
buttons afayk.
-Bonus Levels-
1. Near the mid-way barrel, grab the normal barrel and throw it into the
nearby wall.
2. By a dk barrel, you'll see a tire and a line of 3 bannanas. Jump on that
tire and get your monkey ass up there.
-Other Notes-
Do those clay guys scare anyone else? The fact that they can't be killed
just adds to the horror.

-General Help-
-Bonus Levels-
1. Near the start, off the tire, and to the left you go!
2. Near the first deranged beaver, grab the barrel nearby and break the wall
wide open.
3. I seem to have forgotten the specifics, but i can remember you need to
jump somewhere with a tire.
-Other Notes-
Rabid deranged beavers!!! Run everyone! This is just a warmup, because later
on you'll be facing more of them, and they MOVE. In fact, they come after
you! Save and get ready to fight the boss...

-Notes-
Necky's Nuts...such an odd title, don't you think? Here you have to defeat
necky...and...you have to dodge falling nuts. Sounds like something for
rare's next release, conker's BFD!
-Strategy-
Dodge the nuts, and jump on his head. Nothing really exciting. Just take it
slow and time your jumps. Simple!

-General Help-
Nothing much, really. There are 3 DK barrels, and a halfway point, as
always. The only threat could be the neckys that drop nuts and your bad
barrel shooting.
-Bonus Levels-
1. At the start you will find a 3-bannana line and a tire nearby. What to
do, what to do...
2. On a L shaped rock area, get the hidden barrel and break the nearby wall.
Simple!
-Other Notes-
Pretty simple, just watch out for neckys dropping their nuts.

-General Help-
-Bonus Levels-
1. RIGHT at the start, to the left of where you begin, use a incoming necky
to bounce to the left and into the barrel.
2. Near midway, you'll be in the last barrel of a sequenece and you'll see a
single bannana. Shoot at it, and in you go to the bonus stage.
-Other Notes-
This is a fun level, but i found it annoying at times. It's not that hard,
but sometimes you just can't beat it!

-General Help-
Too many ropes and vultures! Just dodge the bees\vultures on the ropes and
that's it. Not much walking, or other enemies. Plenty of DK barrels too.
-Bonus Levels-
1. Near the G, stay near the bottom of the rope.
2. RIGHT at the exit, take the barrel past all 5 kremlings, then throw it
into the final wall. This is easy, but takes a WHILE to do. Pick up the
barrel, advance to the kremling, kill it, pick up the barrel, advance to the
next kremling, kill it, etc, etc...
-Other Notes-
Uhh...don't you hate those necky's?

-General Help-
Remember my earlier warning? Well now you must face those rabid beavers
again! This time, they can crush you with those giant stones. If you get
expresso, there is nothing to worry about here. Just be QUICK, as the
enemies besides the gnawtys aren't much of a threat. Cartwheeling diddy
works perfect here.
-Bonus Levels-
1. Use the DK barrel near the start to break open a wall. Complete the stage
to get expresso!
2. (i think) near mid-level there is a bannana arrow, follow it down, and
instead of dying, you'll enter another bonus stage.
-Other Notes-
Near the end, ditch the bird, he can get in the way.

-General Help-
If you die here you suck. Just use expresso to get past the barrel throwing
butt-monkeys. Fly past the kremlings, and your all set. Just because beating
this level is easy, doesn't mean it's not a hard level. The bonus areas are
hell!
-Bonus Levels-
1. Get expresso, then fly back below the starting point of the level.
2. At the end of the level, near the rubber tire, take the barrel down below
and break the ledge.
3. Same as #2, only fall down one more level, it's to the left.
4. Get the last Manky to throw a barrel to the RIGHT, it will break open the
nearby wall.
-Other Notes-
Could this be where lanky came from? Those things are hideous!

-General Help-
It's a water level, so all you really need is engaurde, and you just mame
everyone. Problem is, i forgot where he is. I do belive he is at the start
somewhere, and he'll obviously be hidden in the rocks.
-Bonus Levels-
Bonus levels and water just don't mix, people.
-Other Notes-
Those sharks look pretty cool don't they? Oh, and please don't try to kill
the clams...you can't.

-Notes-
Looks like those bees have been taking steroids again. Now you have to face
a King Zing Sting, a bee about 1/4 the size of your screen.
-Strategy-
The key is to not miss a single hit. Wait for him to come to you during his
set course, and let him run into you with a barrel. When he gets red and
mad, don't pick up any barrels, just avoid him. When he turns yellow again,
pick up a barrel and wait. Lather, rinse, repeat. Soon you'll have a dead
bee, and your third world complete. Try and get the bannana to land on the
bee...

There is a shortcut to help you pass the end part. Near the rhambi statue
shoot downward.
-Bonus Levels-
1. Jump onto the necky at the start and onto the igloo.
2. I forget =P
3. Fall down where the N is.

Pretty challenging, ain't it?

-General Help-
Well, here i can actually help you. The purple ropes go up, and the blue
ropes go down. I like to use diddy for rope climbing, by the way.
-Bonus Levels-
1. At the start, use the rope. Goinggg...up!
2. There is a barrel about 1/4 way through near some bees. Use it to break
the nearby wall on the left.
3. I can't remember. It's past the first two, and it's on a rope with some
zingers. It's somewhat hard to get to, so you'll know when you've found it.
-Other Notes-
Can be pretty challenging. It's always fun to play on the ropes.

At the start, go to the LEFT and you'll find expresso, who will guide you
through the rest of the stage.
-Bonus Levels-

prefer to run, as it's so fun. But i suggest hiding, it's easier. Enguarde
is here, so that makes it even easier.

IMNSHO, squawks should only be used to get secrets, and not used to beat the
level. For some reason it's easier in the dark!

1. Near a DK barrel, is a barrel. Throw it at the wall, and voila!
2. Use the barrel at the end, and throw it at the left wall.

Uh, it's easy since you get winky! Just use the zingers to cross the
gaps\get on the tires.
-Bonus Levels-
1. Jump down bewtween two tires at the start. You can see the barrel barely.
2. You'll see a single bannana up high eventually. Just jump up there with
winky, and that's all there is to it.

Oh no, he's not very gnawty anymore...he's...REALLY gnawty! Umm, who cares?
-Strategy-
Sad! This is the 2nd easiest boss in the game. It's just like the other
gnawty (5 hits), except he jumps farther. Rare must have been having a slow
day when they made this boss.

-General Help-
Wha? Help? Well the first half of the level is fairly easy, and the second
have you have rhambi. The only challenging area is the end with the tires. I
say keep rhambi, and just wait patiently for the oil drums. Or, if you go
AFAYK from the start, you can make it as well.
-Bonus Levels-
1. At the start, is a oil drum with bannanas leading down from it. Get the
nearby tnt barrel. TNT + Oil + Fire....didn't they teach you what that
equals in school?
2. Near some gnawty's is a huge wall and a secret DK barrel to the right of
it. Get the barrel, throw it at the left wall, and you're in!
3. Just use rhambi and kill all those mankeys, then go after all the walls
until you find the secret bonus.
-Other Notes-
Rhambi is in a "ditch" of sorts that looks like you'll die if you fall in.
Don't worry though, because you won't...

-General Help-
Try not to go after bannanas in odd spots, rewards, or enemies. Just stay
alive and the track will guide you. Just go for the bonuses in this one.
-Bonus Levels-
1. Near the start, stay on the right side of the track, and when the track
is about to go down, jump right and your in the barrel!
2. When you see a bunch of gnawtys on above ledges roll jump there, kill em
all, and you're in the hardest bonus in the level!
3. At the very end, kill the manky kong, and roll off to get the winky
statue. You'll also fall into a barrel. Many people miss this one.
-Other Notes-
For a fun challenge, try and kill all the enemies that is possible.

-General Help-
You have to be quick on this one, with the elevators or you're toast! Make
use of all the barrels in this level, and you shouldn't have too much
trouble.
-Bonus Levels-
1. Right at the start, climb up the ropes...how easy!
2. Near a group of zingers...jump off the rope.
3. When you are on the LAST elevator near the exit sign, STAY on it and it
will go down to a secret ledge. Jump on and your there...
-Other Notes-
I don't really have anything else to say. But then again, i never really do.

-General Help-
Who just took a huge pee in this pond? It's all green from toxic waste and
the like. Don't worry, it can't kill you. I believe backwards from the start
is enguarde, who makes this level 99.9% easier. Just don't go for any of the
hard items like K-O-N-G letters, and you'll be fine. It IS long though...
-Bonus Levels-
Do i really need to tell you that there aren't any bonus levels in this one?
Ok...there aren't any bonus levels in this one.
-Other Notes-
Gotta love those spiked tires....gotta hate that damn green water!

-General Help-
Uhh, don't forget that you can jump OUT of the cart. This means if your cart
is BELOW the track, and you are still in it, you can jump out of it up to
safety. This is useful in getting some items. Other than that, just watch
out for the cart krems.
-Bonus Levels-
1. On the upper section of the level, just jump in it.
2. At the peak of a hill, jump to your right, off the tire, past the
mcdonalds, over the hill, and through the woods....and you'll land in the
barrel.
3. Same as last, only this time you can SEE where the tire is.
-Other Notes-
My FAVORITE level, and it should be your favorite too!

-General Help-
Why people have trouble with this is beyond me. Just wait for the light to
come on before you move, and for platforms, study where they are in the
light, go AFAYK when it turns light again, and you'll make it in time or
know where they are, and make it anyway. Just go nice and slow, and it's
easy. Oh and for the ropes, just go in the dark, it's just as easy.
-Bonus Levels-
1. On a falling platform, the last one of it's group, below it is a barrel.
Simply stand on it and down you go...much easier in the light.
2. Rather easy if you ask me. Simply use the steel keg in the level, ride on
it via the nearby wall, kill a few kreeps, and into a bonus level you go.
-Other Notes-
Weeee, try and beat this completly in the dark!

This guy for some reason reminds me of a pack of cigaretts. Kinda funny if
you think about it that way.
-Strategy-
Just avoid him falling down and defeat the sets of enemies he sends out, and
he'll kill himself. The enemies sent out, in order, in pairs of 2, are:
Slippas, Clap-Traps, Klumps, Army-Dillos. Save donkey on this and use diddy.
If diddy wins, that's ok, but you'll want to save donkey (who is better at
this boss) for last.

You can get rambi in this level, he's in the wide open. Run into all the
walls with him too, you'll eventually find a secret! Really easy, as the
only enemies are gnawtys!

1. See above, just systematically ram each wall with rhambi.
2. Uhh, walk in that HUGE hole in the mountainside...hard...
3. At the end, use the TNT barrel on the bottom of the cliff.
-Other Notes-
You can get a one-up by jumping on the 8 gnawty's in a row, without touching
the ground.

easy. The first half is avoiding enemies coming out of barrels. Simple

1. At the start, get on the platform and roll jump UNDERNEATH the starting
area. If you are lucky, you'll get there.
2. When one of the platforms falls, fall with it into a barrel. I forget
which one it is, so it may take 3-4 lives to systematically find it.
-Other Notes-
Very hard level to get the bonuses in...that first one took me a while.

It's mr. nuts' dad this time, and he's pissed! He's also purple, but that
doesn't make him any harder.
-Strategy-
Well, there REALLY is no difference, he still takes 5 hits. The nuts fall
faster now, and that's really all there is to it. Just use the strategy for
the last Necky, which is...time your jumps. It's easier to hit him when he's
lower, obviously.

-Notes-
He's big, he's bad, he's...green? Yes this is King K. Rool, and you're going
to need to get 7 hits on this monster if you want to complete it. Lets get
started.
-Strategy-
At the very start, walk right. King K. Rool will throw his crown. Jump on
him and you have hit #1. Now he will run to the left once, so jump over him,
wait for him to throw his crown, then jump on him and hit #2 is in the
books. Now he will run right once, then left once, stop, and throw his crown
again. Jump on him and that's hit #3. Now he will run right, left, and right
again. Wait for him to throw his crown, and jump on him again. You will now
have 4 hits on him and he will start to hop up and down like crazy. He will
jump to the far left in one super jump, and cannonballs will fall from the
left, to the right, and stop. He will then throw his crown. Jump it, and as
always, jump on him. That's 5 hits now! He will super jump to the right, and
then more cannonballs will fall from the right to the left, and back from
the left to the right. Dodge the crown, jump on him, and you have only one
more hit to go! He'll super jump again, and cannonballs will fall from the
left, to the right, from the right, to the left, and again from the left, to
the right. Dodge the crown one final time, and hit him on the head for the
9th time! He will now fall down and "die". The "kredits" will then start,
followed by "The End?". He will then get up, and you'll have to hit him a
final 3 times. For help on dodging the cannonballs, see the diagram below.
As you can see, you need to jump when the one in front of you hits the
ground.

collect on the green croc, so lets start!
-Strategy-
It is key that you use DIDDY for this part, or you can start out with
donkey, and save diddy for later. But make sure you have diddy, it's easier.
He will make 2 huge jumps from left to right. Stay near him for the first
jump, then catch up to him and hit him on the head. Next he will make the
same 2 huge jumps, then about 5 little jumps. Cartwheel\Roll underneath him
when he is at the highest point of his jump, or you won't make it. Wait for
him to throw the crown again, and hit him. One more! He'll do the same as
above, exept he'll repeat the small jumps again. Hit him one final time, and
you've won! Now enjoy the errm..ending.
